# A "psycho study method" TikTok and a two-year-old website: how Spain's civil-service exam AI hit the Top Grossing chart a month after launch

**What it is** A Spanish civil-service exam (oposiciones) prep app: upload your study materials, and AI generates multiple-choice questions, flashcards, and summaries, plus a law library, mock exams with negative marking, and wrong-answer review, on a monthly subscription of €8.99–€11.99.

**Why it took off** The web version had been around for two years with paying users, so the mobile launch caught existing users. The company's own exam-prep persona TikTok account had a hit with 4.2M views, it ran Spanish TikTok ads in the two weeks before launch, and it had nearly 10k SEO pages built around individual exam calls. The Spanish education Top Grossing chart also has a low bar.

**C** **How you could follow it** Don't copy it in Spain. If you want to do this, pick a country that takes lots of civil-service and certification exams, first build an exam-prep persona content account, go deep on one exam category with a web product, and only build an app once people pay. Anchor pricing to tutoring centers.

C grade: "upload notes, get quizzes" can be done with free ChatGPT, and 2026 saw dozens of similar tools in Spain, Brazil, and Italy that almost nobody uses. Typed's edge is two years of web users, the persona account, and SEO, which latecomers can't copy quickly. What's worth learning is the distribution playbook, not the product itself. Typed AI, Spain's, hit the App Store in Oct 6 and reached #33 on the Spanish education Top Grossing chart a month later. It looks like an overnight rise for a new app, but it's a two-year-old web product, and the mobile version is just a second entry point. What actually pushed it was a 48.7k-follower "exam-prep girl" TikTok account, ads launched two weeks before release, and nearly 10k web pages generated per exam call. Anyone can build the features; the distribution is the real asset.

### One video with 4.2M views, and the company behind it

On Mar 24, 2026, TikTok account @maria_typedai (display name maria_opositando) posted a 61-second video titled "Remake del Método de estudio del psicópata 🔪", a remake of the "psycho study method" with better picture quality. As of 11-06, it has 4.2M views and 527k likes. The top comment, with 56k likes, reads: "cuál tercer día? el examen es mañana" (what third day? the exam is tomorrow). Another with over three thousand likes asks: "what if I study without the app?"

The account normally posts about daily life as an "opositora" (someone studying for civil-service exams): study tips, jokes, pre-exam meltdowns, about two posts a day, with typical videos getting a few thousand views. In January two others got 2.52M and 1.7M. Its bio reads "Embajadora de Typed AI" (Typed AI ambassador). The account name carries the company name, so it's either an account the company runs or a creator it signed, and which one can't be determined from outside. Among the daily posts are Typed tutorials: turning official gazette (BOE) PDFs into questions, using spaced repetition, and learning office software exams.

In Spain, the civil service exam is called oposiciones. Hundreds of thousands of people sit it every year, prep often takes one to three years, and many spend €100–200 a month on academia (prep courses). Typed sells one line: you don't have to spend that much.

### What it is

Typed AI: Tests de oposiciones, by Barcelona's TypedAI Studies SL. The developer has only this one App. Upload your temario (study notes) and it generates multiple-choice questions (each with its source passage), flashcards, true/false questions, summaries and outlines. There's also a law library by autonomous community, with the frequently tested articles flagged. Timed mock exams deduct points for wrong answers, just like the real thing. There's a mistake notebook and spaced-repetition review.

Pricing (official site, 11-06): free plan with 3 documents and 40 pages each; Básico €8.99/month, Premium €11.99/month, cheaper paid annually (Básico works out to about €5.39/month). The ad says "from €7.19/month".

Reviews talk about money most. 10-10 A five-star review: "Want to pass without that huge academia bill? Typed is the best option right now, by a wide margin." 11-03 A three-star review offers the other side: "It can't replace a proper academia, and the AI isn't very reliable. But the idea is good, it's well organized, and most of the laws are built in and up to date."

### Not a new App: the website is two years old

Looking through typedai.com's archived history: in 2024 May, its headline was "Get better grades with AI", a general study tool for university and high school students. By 2024 December, it had been rebranded as "the best AI for civil service exam prep". From April 2025, unrelated TikTok creators and Instagram accounts were posting "how to use typedai.com" tutorials. Through the first half of 2026, several reviews titled "best oposiciones AI of 2026" appeared, and even the competitor Algor's blog listed it. In June it also landed an institutional client: the UGT union at CaixaBank used it to prep members for internal promotion exams. A separate page on the site sells it to prep schools.

So the mobile version is an entry point added for existing users. The site's own copy reads "Typed AI, now on your phone too." The App had paying users and charted in its first month. The most likely explanation (inference) is that subscribers and the web funnel moved over directly.

### How big are the numbers?

| Metric | Metric | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| iOS ratings | 34(10-28) → 45(11-06), +10 in a week | App Store, Spain store |
| Spain Education Top Grossing | Bouncing between #30 and #148 daily; 11-06 #33 | App Store, Spain store |
| Countries charted | Spain only | App Store |
| Google Play installs | 5,576(10-29) → 6,475(11-06), about 110 a day | Google Play, 10-02 listed |

#33 sounds good, but the bar for this chart is low: the same day, a "Madrid municipal police exam question bank" with only 5 ratings ranked #42. Hovering around #30 in Spain Education Top Grossing likely means a few subscriptions a day, not big money (estimate). It has never disclosed revenue. No one has discussed it on X in the past three months, and no major outlet has covered it.

### Where users come from

| Channel | What's visible |
|---|---|
| Its own persona account | @maria_typedai: 48.7k followers, 2.46M likes, 1,080 videos (TikTok, 11-06) |
| TikTok ads | Advertiser Typed AI Studies S.L.; the first ad ran 9-21, two weeks before the App launched. Spain-only, all video. 51 ads have appeared, 11-06 are currently running out of 18. 10-23 added about 25 new creatives in one day. Copy includes "Prep for your exam from €7.19/month!" and "Feel buried under your notes?" (TikTok Ad Library) |
| Programmatic SEO | About 9,890 pages on the site, each tied to a specific civil service opening (e.g., a social worker post at a small-town council). Every page says "upload this exam's study notes." There are also 76 law reference pages and comparison pages (vs OpositaTest, Algor, Astra AI, Proxus). |
| Free tools | Office software courses, psychometric test questions, past exam papers, audiobooks, "find the exam that suits you" |
| Institutions | UGT / CaixaBank case study, white-label page for prep schools (scale unverified) |
| Word of mouth | Third-party reviews. On Reddit's r/OPOSICIONES, people are comparing "Typed vs OpositaTest." |
| Store search | The App name is literally "Tests de oposiciones", riding the category keyword (inference). |

Whether it runs Meta / Instagram ads is unverified, and that can't be ruled out.

### Who it's competing with

This space is crowded.

| Competitors | Scale | How Typed differs |
|---|---|---|
| OpositaTest | iOS since 2017, 4,332 ratings, #13 in Education Top Grossing; about 790k installs on Play | The leader sells human-written question banks by exam. Typed generates unlimited questions from your own notes, and it works for niche and local exams too. |
| Formación Ninja | iOS 50 ratings, #58 Top Grossing | Prep-school Apps |
| Astra AI, Knowunity, Kiwi, Quizlet, Algor | Astra ranks #10 Top Grossing, Knowunity #2 | General study tools. They can also turn PDFs into questions, but they weren't built for civil service exams. |
| ChatGPT, NotebookLM, Gemini | — | You can upload a PDF and get questions for free. Typed's own blog lists them as alternatives. |
| New in 2026 | Testealo, Oposi, OpoTestApp, Neura, TodoOpo, opositest.ai, plus dozens of single-exam question banks | Almost all have only 0–15 ratings |

The last line says it best: "upload notes, get questions" has been built by dozens of people this year, and almost none of them have users. Typed's features are deep (mock exams with point deduction, a law library, source passages for every question), but what really separates it from those dozens is two years of web users, a persona account that's been grown, ads, and SEO.

### Would another country work?

The obvious move is to take this playbook to other civil-service-exam countries: Brazil's concursos, Italy's concorsi, France's concours. 11-06 I searched the App Stores in each country: in Brazil, searching "concursos IA questões" turns up a dozen-plus AI quiz apps that charted within the past 2026 years (Concurse, Gabarito, Lectra, LacQuiz...), with the top one at 12 ratings. In Italy there's Concorsino (72 ratings), Quiz Concorsi - Futura (199), and Promosso.ai, while the veteran Concorsando.it has over 20k ratings. France looks the quietest, but it has fewer exam types and test-takers than Spain or Brazil.

The conclusion matches Spain's: Apps aren't scarce, but people doing distribution seriously are. Brazil's civil service prep is a big industry in itself, with strong incumbent question banks and video course companies. A newcomer has to compete on content and ads, not features.

### If it were you

**C: You can learn something, but following along isn't a good deal.** Anyone can build the features, and free ChatGPT does a lot of it. Typed's position rests on two years of accumulated web users, a persona account with 48.7k followers, ads, and nearly 10k SEO pages. Followers can't catch up quickly. Spain is already saturated, and Brazil and Italy each saw a dozen-plus AI quiz Apps appear this year.

**Who it suits** : people who already have a content account or community in civil service or certification prep in a given country, or small teams willing to spend a year building a prep-focused persona account before the product. Ideally locals who understand the exam process and where the laws come from.

**Who it doesn't suit** : anyone who wants to ship a "upload a PDF, get questions" App and wait for organic installs (dozens of these have launched this year, nearly all with single-digit ratings); anyone who wants to fight OpositaTest and Typed head-on in Spain; anyone who doesn't want to make content or run ads.

**How to build it** : start with the web, pick one country and one exam type, and go deep on the workflow: question formats that match real exams, mock exams with point deduction, a law library that's built in and kept current, and a source passage for every question. Build the App only after people pay. Anchor pricing against prep schools, not other Apps.

**How to get users** : follow @maria_typedai's approach and build a persona account. Around 90% of content should be exam-prep daily life, study methods, and jokes ("torture study methods", "punishment study methods"), and about 10% product tutorials. In parallel, generate pages in bulk per "exam × job role" to capture long-tail search. Once you have creatives that convert, run TikTok ads. Make the copy about price: "a few euros a month, a fraction of prep school."

**Timing** : there's no hard deadline. This is a slow business. Content accounts and SEO take more than six months to pay off (inference). Traffic peaks around exam registration season, so work backward from each target country's exam calendar.

**Signs you've read this wrong** : (1) Typed steadily climbs into the top 20 of Spain Education Top Grossing before the end of 2026, or discloses meaningful revenue. That would mean the business is bigger than it looks, and it's worth going after other countries more seriously. (2) A Brazilian or Italian AI quiz App grows to several hundred ratings and charts within a few months. That means someone has already claimed that market. (3) ChatGPT or NotebookLM launches a prep mode with mock exams and exam-specific categories. That would squeeze the room for vertical tools even further.

| OpositaTest | iOS | 2017-02(Android 2016-12) | iOS 4,332 ratings, ES Education Top Grossing #13; about 793k installs on Play | OpositaTest sells human-written question banks by exam category. Typed generates unlimited questions from the user's own notes, and it works for niche and local exams too. |
| Formación Ninja | iOS | 2025-12 | iOS 50 ratings, #58 Top Grossing; about 12.7k installs on Play | Formación Ninja is an academy that pairs an App with course sales; Typed is a self-serve AI tool at a lower price |
| Astra AI | iOS | 2025-08 | Tens of thousands of ratings, #10 in ES Education Top Grossing | Astra is a general AI homework and exam helper; Typed is built specifically for oposiciones (mock exams with penalty for wrong answers, legal library, official past papers) |
| Algor Education | Web | Web version is older; iOS #2026-07 | iOS #14 ratings | Algor is a general study tool that turns uploaded PDFs into mind maps and quizzes; Typed is a vertical exam tool, and has a comparison page that goes head-to-head against it |
| Knowunity / Kiwi AI / Flashka / Quizlet | iOS | 2012–2025 | Knowunity is #2 in ES Education Top Grossing, Kiwi is #27 | A general study tool for students, not built for civil service exams |
| ChatGPT / NotebookLM / Gemini | Big-company features | 2023–2024 | Huge | Free to upload a PDF and generate questions; Typed offers more of the exam workflow (mock exams, error log, spaced repetition, legal library) and Spanish localization beyond the Chinese context |
| opositest.ai | Web | Unverified (2026) | Not verified | Nearly the same playbook: pick an exam or upload the temario to generate questions; Typed adds an App, content accounts and accumulated SEO |
| Offline or online academias | Other | Has been around all along | A big industry | Academias run a hundred or two hundred euros a month; Typed is 8.99–11.99€/month, and its pitch is replacing the academia |

Where users come from

- **Verified** **existing-user migration (web → app)** : typedai.com was a general-purpose AI study tool, 2024-05 and has since pivoted to oposiciones prep; its site now reads "Typed AI, now on your phone too", and the iOS app hit the Top Grossing chart within its first month 2024-12 10-06

- **Verified** **TikTok brand persona account** : @maria_typedai (maria_opositando, bio "Embajadora de Typed AI") has 48.7K followers, 2.46M likes and 1,080 videos; one video got 2026-03-24 4.2M views, and two others got 2.5M and 1.7M; it posts about 2 videos a day, soft-promoting the product with tutorials (TikHub 2026-11-06)

- **Verified** **TikTok paid ads (Spain)** : tiktokads library: advertiser Typed AI Studies S.L., first ad 2026-09-21, 18 currently running, 51 seen in total, targeting ES only; 10-23 a new batch of creatives pushing "desde solo 7,19 € al mes"; the site has the TikTok Pixel installed

- **Verified** **Programmatic SEO** : the sitemap has about 9,890 single-exam /convocatorias/ pages, 76 /cuadros/ legal comparison tables, plus comparison pages (vs OpositaTest/Algor/Astra/Proxus) and self-promotional ranking articles

- **Verified** **B2B and institutions** : UGT CaixaBank internal promotion exam case (2026-06), site has a /academias white-label plan

- **Verified** **Third-party reviews and word of mouth** : Algor's blog, jeffrychaves.com, rededuca and formacion.ninja have all covered it; third-party TikTok and Instagram tutorials exist from 2025-04; r/OPOSICIONES has comparison threads

- Inferred **Meta / Instagram ads** : nothing found in the metaads library, but that library doesn't cover Spanish-language keywords, so it can't be ruled out

- Inferred **ASO category keywords** : the App name directly uses "Tests de oposiciones"

## Why Typed AI: Tests de oposiciones (iOS #6771355744) managed to break through

> Research date 2026-11-06. Data sources: our appstore / googleplay / tiktokads / metaads libraries (agent-im machine), TikHub (TikTok), Jina search and page text, Wayback Machine, and the typedai.com sitemap.

### One line

A study tool for Spanish civil service exams (oposiciones): upload your own notes or pick articles from a built-in legal library (filterable by autonomous community), and AI generates multiple-choice questions, flashcards, true/false questions, summaries and diagram-style outlines, plus mock exams (timed, with penalties for wrong answers), spaced-repetition review and an error log. The company is TypedAI Studies SL, based in Barcelona.

**Bottom line: this isn't a new App that suddenly appeared. It's a web SaaS that's been running for about two years, and the mobile version only launched in 2026 October (Play 10-02, iOS 10-06). It hit the Top Grossing chart right away, mainly because existing web paying users migrated over, plus three acquisition channels that were already running: the company-run "opositora" persona TikTok account (48.7K followers, 2.5M likes), TikTok ads running in Spain since September, and nearly 10k SEO landing pages generated per exam. The differentiation (built specifically for oposiciones, can use your own notes) is real, but distribution is what made it break through.**

### 1. Data: how big it is right now

- **iOS ratings** : 34 (10-28) → 45 (11-06), up 7 over the last 10 days (appstore.app_day, es). Only charted in the Spain store.

- **iOS Spain Education Top Grossing** : bouncing between #30 and #148 daily, sometimes #10-29, #30,11-06, #33,11-05 or #148 (appstore.chart_rank). Comparables on the same chart: OpositaTest (launched 2017 years ago, 4,332 ratings) is #13, Formación Ninja is #58, and Test Policía Municipal Madrid reached #42 with only 5 ratings. So **the bar for the Spanish education grossing chart is low** , and #33 corresponds to a few subscriptions a day, not big money.

- **Google Play** : package name com.typedai.app, listed 2026-10-02, installs 5,576 (10-29) → 6,475 (11-06), up about 900 over 8 days, roughly 110 a day (googleplay.app_day). In-app purchase range on Play is $11.99–$84.99.

- **Pricing** (typedai.com homepage): free plan 3 documents, 40 pages each; Básico 8.99€/month; Premium 11.99€/month; discounts for half-year or annual billing (Básico annual works out to about 5.39€/month, per jeffrychaves.com's 2026-08 notes). New users get an extra 15% off Premium for the first 3 days.

- Reviews: most of the 5-star ones say "academias are too expensive, this can replace them"; one 3-star review from 11-03 says "it can't replace a professional academia, and the AI isn't very reliable, but the organization and built-in legal articles are great".

### 2. It's not a new product: the web version is two years old, and the mobile app came later

- Wayback Machine: typedai.com already has archived snapshots from 2023-01; **the 2024-05 headline read "Consigue mejores notas con ayuda de la IA"** , back when it was a general AI study tool for university and high school students (summaries, quiz generation, 24 hours of Q&A); **by 2024-12 it had changed to "La mejor IA para opositar"** , pivoting to oposiciones.

- Starting from 2025-04, third-party TikTok creators (@saul_vicentem) and Instagram tutorials were already explaining how to use typedai.com.

- Starting from 2026-02, several third-party reviews gradually picked it up: jeffrychaves.com, Algor Education's blog (Algor is a competitor, and it still lists Typed in its recommendations), rededuca.net and formacion.ninja.

- 2026-06 B2B case: UGT CaixaBank (the CaixaBank union) used it to prepare members for an internal promotion exam (typedai.com/caso-estudio-ugt-caixabank; YouTube has a "Demostración APP Typed UGT" video). The site also has an /academias page, selling to training institutes.

- The homepage says "Miles de opositores ya confían en Typed AI". The site's "Typed AI, ahora también en tu móvil" shows the mobile app was a second entry point added for existing web users.

**So the iOS app had paying users and charted within its first month, and the most plausible explanation is migration of existing users: the web subscribers and the web funnel were connected directly to the new App.**

### 3. Growth tactics (with evidence)

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| The company-run TikTok persona account | @maria_typedai (display name maria_opositando), bio reads "Embajadora de Typed AI", 48.7K followers, 2.46M likes, 1,080 videos (TikHub 2026-11-06). Pinned hits: 2026-03-24 "psicópata study method" with 4.2M views and 527k likes; 2026-01-19 2.52M; 2026-01-14 1.7M. It now posts about 2 videos a day, with a typical one getting 0.1–7k views. Content mixes "daily study life + study methods + jokes", with Typed AI tutorials interspersed (turning BOE PDFs into questions, reviewing with spaced repetition, learning ofimática, etc.). The account uses the company handle; it's probably a company-run or contracted creator account (exact arrangement unverified). | Yes |
| TikTok paid ads (Spain) | tiktokads library: advertiser "Typed AI Studies S.L." (registered in Spain), first ad 2026-09-21 (about 2 weeks before the App launched); currently running 18 ads, 51 seen in total, all targeting ES only, all video. 10-23 a day it adds about 25 new creatives, with copy like "¡Prepara tu oposición desde solo 7,19 € al mes!" and "¿Agobiado por la densidad de tu temario?"; the biggest single ad reached the 100k–200k tier. The site also has the TikTok Pixel installed (pixelId DAK2KUJC77UC8FLK6DIG, only loaded after user consent). | Yes |
| Programmatic SEO | typedai.com sitemap: about 9,890 convocatorias pages (generated per single exam, e.g. "Técnico/a superior de integración social — Ayuntamiento de La Nucia"); another 76 /cuadros pages (comparison tables for things like the Constitution and contract law), 20 psicotécnicos pages, 11 test pages, 5 comparison pages (vs OpositaTest / Algor / Astra AI / Proxus), plus self-promotional ranking articles like "best oposiciones AI of 2026". Every page directs users to "upload this exam's temario to Typed". | Yes |
| Free tool acquisition | Free resources on the site: ofimática courses, psicotécnicos, official past papers, audiolibros, minijuegos, "encuentra tu oposición" | Yes |
| B2B and institutional channels | The UGT CaixaBank case, the academias white-label page | Yes (scale unverified) |
| Third-party reviews and word of mouth | Algor's blog, jeffrychaves, rededuca, formacion.ninja, iaoposiciones.org; on r/OPOSICIONES someone says "I'm comparing Typed AI and OpositaTest" | Yes |
| Meta ads | Nothing found in the metaads library by domain, App id or Page name. But that library only tracks English keywords and advertisers in the top placements of the US, UK, Germany and Japan, so **not finding it there doesn't mean it isn't running** | Not verified |
| Store search (ASO) | The App name is literally "Tests de oposiciones", riding the category head term | Inferred |

### 4. Competitors

- **OpositaTest** (iOS #2017 / Android #2016, 4,332 iOS ratings, about 793k installs on Play, #13 in ES Education Top Grossing): a human-curated question bank sold by exam category, and the incumbent leader in this space. Typed's pitch is "your own notes, unlimited questions", and its comparison page goes directly after it.

- **Formación Ninja** (iOS 2025-12,50 ratings, Top Grossing #58; ~12.7k installs on Play): academia plus an app.

- **Astra AI** (iOS 2025-08, lots of ratings, ES Education Top Grossing #10), **Knowunity** (#2), **Kiwi AI** , **Flashka** , **Quizlet** , **Algor Education** (web, iOS only from 2026-07, 14 ratings), **Proxus** , **Studera** : general AI study tools that can also upload a PDF and generate questions, but none are built for oposiciones.

- **Big-tech features** : ChatGPT, NotebookLM and Gemini can all turn an uploaded PDF into questions. Typed's own blog lists them as alternatives.

- **Small look-alike apps that appeared in 2026** : Testealo: Test Oposiciones IA (2026-03,0 ratings), opositest.ai (web, takes a temario upload), Oposi (06,12 ratings), OpoTestApp (05,8 ratings), Neura (09,1 ratings), TodoOpo (11-03,0 ratings), plus dozens of question-bank apps built around a single exam (Mossos, Bomberos, TCAE, AGE...). The appstore library has dozens of apps with "Oposici" in the name dating back to 2026, nearly all with 0–15 ratings.

- **Offline academias** : a few hundred euros a month. Typed's core pitch is "you don't have to spend that much on an academia."

### 5. Why it took off

1. **Two years of web base + migrating existing users** : it started as a general study AI (2024-05), and moved into oposiciones at the end of 2024. By the time the app launched it already had paying users, success stories (3 posts of people "getting their position"), and B2B clients, so subscribers were ready the day the app went live.

2. **A persona content account built the demand** : @maria_typedai used "a day in the life of an opositora" to produce several hits with 1M to 4M views, collected 48.7k targeted followers, then soft-placed the product in daily posts. In this category it's a rare content asset that keeps bringing in users.

3. **Paid ads ran before the app launched** : TikTok ads in Spain from 9-21, scaled up in 10-23, using a "from 7.19€/month" price anchor that compares directly against academia prices.

4. **SEO covering the long tail** : about 9,890 exam pages to catch long-tail searches like "[city] [job] oposición temario."

5. **Real need, people already pay** : tens of thousands in Spain sit oposiciones every year, often over 1–3 years of prep, and they already pay for academias and question banks. 8.99–11.99€/month is cheap next to an academia.

6. **Low bar to the grossing charts** : in Spain's Education Top Grossing, ranks #30 to #150 need only a few subscriptions, so "charting in the top 33 a month after launch" sounds bigger than it is.

### 6. Differentiation, and whether that's why it broke out

- Compared with human-written banks like OpositaTest: **content comes from the user's own study material** , plus a searchable legal database by autonomous region, so obscure and regional exams are covered too, and questions are unlimited.

- Compared with general AI study tools (Astra, Algor, NotebookLM): **deep specialization for the exam setting** , with mock exams that deduct for wrong answers, official past papers, psicotécnicos, ofimática, spaced repetition, and weekly error review, and every generated question cites its source passage.

- **Part of the reason, not the main one** . "Upload a PDF and get questions" is now something anyone can do (ChatGPT does it free), and the dozens of look-alike apps from 2026 mostly never took off. Typed's real difference is distribution and accumulation: two years of web users, a persona TikTok account, paid ads, nearly 10k SEO pages, B2B clients. Vertical focus raises conversion on these channels, but the features alone wouldn't have carried it.

### 7. How visible it is

- Revenue is not public (TrustMRR and the founders haven't posted it). On x-radar, searches for "typedai" and "Typed AI oposiciones" over the last ~90 days each return 0 posts, and nobody discusses it on X. No major media coverage found.

- It has some name recognition within the Spanish oposiciones community: TikTok and Instagram tutorials, comparison threads on Reddit, several "best oposiciones AI of 2026" reviews, and even competitor Algor's blog lists it.

- Verdict: **it's being talked about in a small circle** . But the space is already crowded, with dozens of look-alike apps and sites launched in 2026.

### 8. What others can borrow

- Validate the vertical exam use case on the web first, get paying users, then ship the app so it can absorb existing users and ad traffic on day one.

- The company runs a persona account of someone studying for an exam, posting daily life, study methods and jokes, with the product soft-placed in. Fans from a hit post are a durable acquisition asset.

- Programmatic SEO pages built from "exam announcement × position," where every page is an entry point to "upload this exam's study material."

- Anchor pricing to academia ("from €7.19/month") rather than to other apps.

- The same model could travel to other civil-service-heavy markets: Brazil's concursos, Italy's concorsi, France's concours, and Latin America. This is my inference from the recall, not verified, and I haven't checked whether these markets already have local competitors.

### 9. Still unclear

- Whether @maria_typedai is a company employee, a founding team member, or a contracted creator, and whether her early hit was posted before Typed existed.

- Whether there's Meta / Instagram ad spend (not covered by our libraries), and how much was spent on TikTok ads.

- Real paying user counts and revenue for the web product; how much of app revenue comes from new users versus migrated existing ones.

- Funding and team size not found.

- The scale of B2B deals like UGT CaixaBank.
