A Korean dev's tool that tracks the daily Valorant store for players. It's slowly climbing charts in 32 countries
What it is An unofficial Valorant app. You log in with your Riot account and see the daily store without opening the game. Skins on your wishlist send an alert when they appear. It's free with ads.
Why it's taking off The official mobile app doesn't show your personal store, and older store tools have stopped updating or been pulled. It has the cleanest and most complete wishlist alerts. It uses local search terms as titles in each store, and store search has slowly lifted it up the free Entertainment charts in 32 stores.
CHow you could follow it Don't go head-to-head on Valorant. Apply the same approach to other games with rotating stores where the official mobile client doesn't show them, or add what it lacks: paid ad removal and regional localization. For acquisition, use multilingual store titles and build reviews on Android first.

ValoShopTracker (VST for short) is a Valorant store alert app built by a solo indie developer in Seoul. You add the skins you want to a wishlist, and it sends you a push notification on the day they appear in the store. People have been building in this category for 2021 years and it's crowded. VST didn't invent anything new. It took off because, after the older tools stopped updating or were pulled, it made wishlist alerts the smoothest option and localized carefully into 17 languages. The approach is what's worth studying. The app itself is small, earns only from ads, and lives at Riot's mercy.
"I'll pay you, just cut down the ads."
In Sep 2026 24, a user named BBa ZZang left a review on Google Play: "Works well. Could you add a paid ad removal option? I'll pay, just show fewer ads."
The next day, developer k-blue replied: "Thanks for the suggestion. We're considering paid ad removal. This update tweaks how ads are shown and how often. If anything is still inconvenient, email us from Profile > Contact Us." Scrolling up, the reviews from Sep 11 and Sep 18 complaining that login kept dropping also got replies within a day or two, each saying which update fixed what.
One person, one Gmail support address, replying to reviews one by one. That's what VST is.
What it actually is
Valorant's daily store randomly shows 4 skins a day, but the official mobile app (Riot Mobile, 10M+ installs) doesn't show your personal store. To check whether the gun they've been waiting for showed up today, players have to boot up a PC and launch the game.
VST lets you log in through Riot's official login page (the store page states it does not collect or store account passwords). After that you can view the day's store, night market, bundles, and accessory store without launching the game. The core feature is the wishlist: search for a skin, pick its level and variant, save it, and you get a push notification when it shows up in your daily store. There's also: browsing past daily stores by date, stats on how often each skin appears, VP cost calculations for buying and upgrading, and sharing store links or viewing friends' stores.
Free, with ads. The Android version launched in June 2026, and the iOS version launched in Sep 17.
How far it has grown
Small, but steadily growing.

(Combined across App Store regions, daily data)
Ratings rose 58% over 9 days, with daily gains climbing from single digits to a dozen or two. Ratings are spread across many stores: Korea 82, Taiwan 67, France 44, Vietnam 30, Japan 26, Turkey 19. France added 24 over the last 7 days, the fastest-growing store. It has only charted in the free Entertainment category, peaking at #30 in Korea, #48 in Taiwan, and #65 in France. Most stores now sit between #60 and #130. It has never charted in Top Grossing.
The Android version has several times iOS's volume. By Nov 6 it had 43,449 cumulative installs, about 6,400 more than Oct 29, or 700–800 a day. It has 500 reviews and a 4.2 rating on Google Play. The iOS average rating in Korea is 4.47.
Where users come from
Almost entirely store search.
The clearest evidence is the titles. In each store VST uses the subtitle local players are most likely to search: "오늘의 상점 알림" (daily store alerts) in Korean, "每日商店外觀查詢" in Taiwan, "デイリーストア" in Japan, "Tagesshop" in Germany, "Boutique" in the French listing, and "Daily Store" elsewhere. The description has also been translated into 17 languages. Growth is spread across 32 stores, mostly small ones like Turkey, Vietnam, Hungary, and Slovakia in the free Entertainment chart. The pattern looks more like multilingual search slowly spreading than a single video driving a spike.
Off-platform, it's barely visible. On TikTok, searches for its name and Korean keywords turn up no videos from the app itself. On X, nobody has mentioned it in nearly 60 days. There's no Reddit launch post, and no media coverage. Its Korean rival GO VAL, however, posts its own videos on TikTok, each getting a few hundred to a thousand views.
Two outside forces have also helped. One is the game's own rhythm: the iOS launch came during the night market that ran from Sep 22 to Oct 6, only 5 days in. A new Act opened in Oct 13, and the Nov 4 16.22 patch brought a server maintenance window and new skins into the store, each time prompting people to check the store (this lines up with the rating spikes, though it's inferred). The other is word of mouth: a five-star Korean review said, "I used a Chinese app before, and seeing one properly localized into Korean gives peace of mind. It has only the features I actually need." Another said, "It's convenient from setting a wishlist to calculating how much it costs."
Why this one, and why now
The demand has always been there. As long as the official mobile app doesn't show personal stores, players have a daily reason to open a third-party tool.
What changed is the supply. The tools that were popular in 2021 and 2022, like VShop, Store Checker for Valorant, and cshop (often recommended by Korean blogs), have either stopped updating or disappeared from the App Store. Newer apps are mostly all-in-one: match history, team finding, and battle passes, with the store as just one page. VST made the store its entire focus from the start: alerts, history, stats, VP calculations, night market, and sharing. It picked up the search traffic the older tools left behind.
Launching on Android first also helped. In four months it collected 40k+ installs and a group of users willing to leave reviews. After the iOS launch, it quickly charted in several stores.
Who it's competing with
Many, and they all came earlier.
| Competitors | Scale | How VST differs from them |
|---|---|---|
| Valking.gg(2021) | Android 1.73M installs; iOS Korea 3,951 rating | Focused on match history lookups, with the store as a side feature. Korean users complain about too many ads. |
| GO VAL / 고발 (Korea, 2023) | Android 139k installs; iOS Korea 71 rating | The most direct rival, running TikTok promotion. In Nov 3 it posted a video saying "major updates to history and wishlists are in development," appearing to chase VST. |
| Manbo (Taiwan team, 2025) | Android 73k installs | Skins browsable without logging in; the "China App" mentioned in Korean reviews may be this one (inferred) |
| ValoStore(2026-05) | iOS KR store 49 rating, 3.2 stars | Only shows the current day's store |
| SpikeHub, ValoHub, ValPal, ValBuddy, etc. | A few hundred to 50k+ installs | All-in-one tools; the store is just one feature |
| Web versions like itemshop.gg and instalock.net | Unknown | No install needed, but weak push experience |
(Google Play installs, App Store rating, 11-06)
Among similar apps launched in the past six months, VST ranks first on iOS rating count and number of charting countries. But its two edges, wishlist push and multilingual ASO, can be copied by anyone. GO VAL is already copying them.
Where the money comes from
Ads only. It has never charted in Top Grossing, has no in-app purchases, and the developer hasn't disclosed any revenue. For a tool app with 40k installs and unknown DAU, ad revenue is probably somewhere between a pocket-money income and rent money (estimate). That review saying "I'll pay for fewer ads" shows some people are willing to pay, but a paid ad-removal option hasn't launched yet.
There's also an unavoidable risk: the whole app depends on Riot account login and Riot's APIs. Riot has shut down third-party store websites before (reported in November 2024), and starting Oct 6 it banned third-party programs from reading game memory. The latter only targets PC overlay programs and doesn't cover account-API tools like VST, but Riot can tighten it at any time. Reviews already include one-star complaints about login failures (10-22, 10-25).
If it were you
C: Learnable, but copying it isn't worth much. The Valorant niche is already crowded, VST has few defensible advantages, its revenue ceiling is low, and it depends on Riot's goodwill. What's worth taking away is the method: find something the official game doesn't offer that players check every day, turn it into a push notification, then use multilingual store titles to capture search traffic in each country.
Who it suits: Indie developers who play a game with rotating store or limited-time content and know what players wait for every day; people willing to do serious localization and reply to reviews one by one.
Who it doesn't suit: Anyone who needs this to support a team; anyone uncomfortable with the gray area of "users log into a third-party app with their game account"; anyone wanting to head-to-head compete with VST, GO VAL, and Valking on Valorant.
How to do it: Two paths. One: change games. First find something the official mobile experience doesn't show and that rotates daily or weekly (stores, limited events, battle pass rewards), and confirm there's no good mobile tool before building. Fortnite already has tools like itemshop.gg, so investigate thoroughly before choosing. Two: do the parts VST has done poorly: paid ad removal (users have already asked for it), more stable login, and localized titles for regions beyond Korea (US, Brazil, Southeast Asia). Follow VST's approach: do one thing, do it fully, do it cleanly.
How to get users: Mainly store search. Write each regional subtitle with the term local players actually search ("Today's Store", "Daily Store", "Tagesshop"), translate the description into a dozen-plus languages; collect Android reviews before iOS; ship around major patches and on days like night market when players check stores en masse. TikTok can supplement, but GO VAL's data suggests this kind of content gets low views.
Timing: No hard deadline. But once GO VAL's wishlist feature launched, VST's differentiation in Korea disappeared; if you build on a different game, each season that passes means one fewer peak window of players checking stores.
Signs this read is wrong: ① Riot blocks third-party account login, or starts showing personal stores inside the official mobile app, and the whole category drops to zero overnight; ② Conversely, if VST adds paid ad removal and charts in entertainment Top Grossing in several stores, it means monetization for tools like this is better than estimated here, making a game-swap copy more worthwhile.

One line
A non-official "daily store viewer + wishlist skin alert" app for VALORANT, made by a Korean indie developer (sunguk kim, listed as k-blue on Google Play). The category is old and crowded (a dozen-plus similar apps since 2021), and it invented nothing new. It gained traction through three things: making the single must-have feature, wishlist push alerts, smooth; doing 17 languages well, with each region's store title using local search terms; and catching natural store-search traffic after legacy apps (VShop, Store Checker for Valorant, etc.) stopped updating or were delisted. It's still small (293 global iOS ratings, 43k Android installs), growing within a niche through store search.
1. What it is
- Users log in with their Riot account (via Riot's official login page) and, without opening the game, view their account's daily store (4 skins), night market, bundles, and accessory store. Core features: search skins, pick level and radiant tier, save to a wishlist, and get a push alert when a wishlisted skin appears in the daily store. Also includes a store history calendar, appearance frequency stats, VP top-up bundle and cost calculator, shareable store links, and rank and RR viewing. (Korean App Store description, iTunes lookup 2026-11-06)
- Free, with ads (the website valoshoptracker.web.app says "Free · Contains ads"). Current iOS version 1.11.0, updated 2026-10-27, supports 17 languages.
- Both platforms: Android version com.kblue.valoshoptracker listed 2026-06 (AppBrain and the googleplay database both show 2026-06-04); iOS version listed 2026-09-17.
2. Data
iOS (appstore library)
- 全区评分合计从 10-28 的 185 涨到 11-06 的 293,9 天涨了 58%;每天新增从 4 个涨到 12–22 个,11-04 当天新增 22 个(数据卡)。
- Ratings by region (app_day, as of 11-06): Korea 82, Taiwan 67, France 44, Vietnam 30, Turkey 19, Philippines and Germany 9 each, Thailand and Hong Kong 7 each, Japan 26 (lookup). On 11-06 it charted in 32 regions.
- Ranking: Only charted in entertainment Top Free. Best positions were #30 in Korea's entertainment Top Free, #48 in Taiwan, and #65 in France; currently mostly between #60 and #130 (app_day). Has never charted in any Top Grossing list.
- Average rating 4.47 (Korea, 83 ratings).
Android (googleplay database)
- Cumulative installs 43,449 (11-06); at 10-29 it had grown about 37,081,8 over 6,400 days, roughly 700–800 installs per day; 523 ratings, 4.2 stars. Best position was #160 in Taiwan's entertainment Top Free.
- Android volume is roughly several times iOS: it launched on Android first and gathered over 40k installs in four months.
3. Competitors (this has been done many times)
| Competitors | Platform | Launched | Scale | How it differs from VST |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Valking.gg | iOS / Android / web | 2021-03 | iOS KR store 3,951 rating, US store 1,006; Android 1.73M installs | Focuses on stat lookup, with the store as a side feature; Korean users say it's "too many ads". |
| GO VAL / 고발(YeeStudio / SeongNo Lee) | Android 2023-04,iOS 2026-08 | — | Android 139k installs, 7 days +2,703; iOS KR store 71 ratings | A direct local rival in Korea, also with stores, night market, and skin videos; promotes on TikTok with its own videos (@yeestudio); 11-03 posted that "big history and wishlist updates are in development," suggesting it's chasing VST's features. |
| Manbo (formerly VALKI, DEEBUG) | Android / iOS | 2025-02 | Android 73k installs | Made by a Taiwanese Chinese-language team. You can browse skins without logging in. The "China App" mentioned in Korean reviews is most likely this one (inferred). |
| ValoStore - 발로란트 상점(SEHYUN JUN) | iOS / Android | 2026-05 | iOS KR store 49 rating, 3.2 stars | Only shows the day's store. Few features, low ratings. |
| SpikeHub, ValoHub, ValPal, ValBuddy, DailyVal | iOS / Android | 2025–2026 | All in the hundreds of thousands to 50k+ installs | Multi-purpose tools where the store is just one feature. ValBuddy does content marketing on TikTok. |
| VShop for Valorant, Store Checker for Valorant (Gordon Ng), VSC (open source), Valorant Store Viewer | iOS / Android / open source | 2021–2022 | They were the mainstream back then (many Korean blogs recommended them). | Store Checker's iOS version (1637273546) can no longer be found via lookup. A Korean blog noted that cshop, once very popular, has disappeared. The older generation has either stopped updating or been pulled. |
| Web versions: valorantools.gg, instalock.net, itemshop.gg, valorant-store-checker (Vercel), and others | Web | 2024– | — | No app install needed, but push notifications are poor (itemshop.gg requires adding it to the home screen first). |
| Official | Big-company features | — | Riot Mobile 10M+ installs | The official app doesn't show personal stores on mobile (articles from pley.gg and thespike.gg both say this). This is the premise the whole category exists on. |
Takeaway: the category is crowded, and VST is a late entrant. In our database, among same-category apps launched in the past six months, it ranks first on iOS rating count and number of charted storefronts (32) (ValoStore 49, 고발 71, SpikeHub 12).
4. Growth levers (evidence)
- Store search / ASO (main channel, strong evidence): each storefront's title is written in the local search terms. Korean: 「오늘의 상점 알림」 (today's store alert); Taiwan: 「每日商店外觀查詢」; French: 「Boutique」; Japanese: 「デイリーストア」; German: 「Tagesshop」; other regions: 「Daily Store」. The descriptions are localized too, in 17 languages. Growth is spread across 32 storefronts, mostly small-market entertainment free charts (Turkey, Vietnam, Hungary, Slovakia...). This shape looks like it comes from multilingual search coverage, not from any one viral content push.
- Reviews and rating management (evidenced): On Google Play the developer replies to reviews one by one and thanks users for "updating their rating", encouraging people to write reviews in their native language. Korean praise centers on "clean interface, good localization, only the necessary features".
- Referral mechanic built into the product (feature exists, effect unverified): "Share my store link, view friends' stores" can bring in new users.
- TikTok / X / Reddit: no promotion by the app itself found. TikHub searches for ValoShopTracker and Korean keywords return no videos from it. x-radar shows 0 posts in 60 days. No launch post on Reddit. The rival GO VAL, however, posts on TikTok (a few hundred to a thousand views per video).
- Paid ads: no evidence. Its free-chart ranks are modest and it doesn't look like it's pushing to climb; the ad libraries weren't checked (it isn't on the tracking list).
- Timing: It launched on iOS on day 5 (9-22), right as the night market (9-22 to 10-06) came around. 10-13 released a new Act, and skin rotations drove demand to check the store. The small peak from 11-03 to 11-04 lines up with the 16.22 patch (Riot's status page lists a 11-04 downtime update). New skins going live would push people to check the store (this is inference). Riot banned third-party programs reading game memory starting 10-06, but that hits PC overlay programs, not apps like VST that use account APIs. It may even have pushed some PC-tool users over to the mobile app (inferred, unverified).
5. Why it took off
- The need is constant: VALORANT's daily store randomly rotates 4 skins, and the official app doesn't show them on mobile. Players want to know whether the gun they've been waiting for showed up today. The "wishlist restock push" saves users from logging into the PC every day to check the store, which is why they keep coming back.
- Supply gap: The older hit apps have stopped updating or been pulled (Store Checker's iOS version can't be found, cshop is gone), and newer entries are mostly multi-purpose tools or single-feature small apps. VST arrived with full features from the start (push, history, VP calculation, night market, sharing), rated 4.4–4.5.
- Solid localization: One Korean review says: "I used the Chinese app before. Now I see a proper Korean version, and I feel reassured." 17 languages plus localized storefront titles let it be found in small-language search results too.
- Each platform feeds the other: Android built users and reputation over four months before iOS launched, and the iOS launch immediately charted in multiple storefronts.
VI. Differentiation
Its differentiation is being wishlist-centric: you pick the skins you want (including level and radiant variants), the system watches the daily store for you, and sends a push when they appear. Add the store history calendar, appearance frequency stats, and VP top-up combination calculator. Most rivals are "open it to see today's store" or "a store page tacked onto a stats tool". This differentiation is one reason it took off (reviews specifically praise the wishlist and money-calculation features), but it's easy to copy. GO VAL 11-03 has already publicly said it's building wishlist and history features. The other differentiator, ASO across 17 languages and storefronts, is an execution advantage that's also not hard to replicate.
7. How many people have seen it
- Revenue isn't public (only ad revenue, and it has never entered any top-grossing chart). Not found on TrustMRR, and no founder has posted numbers. On X: 0 discussions. Reddit: 0 posts. No media coverage.
- Takeaway: not many people know about it yet. It's spreading only within player circles, via store search.
- Copycats: GO VAL (the direct Korean rival) is chasing wishlist and history features. Other similar apps already existed, so strictly speaking none of them are copying it.
VIII. What to take from it
- Build push-style tools around game data that the publisher doesn't provide but players check constantly (rotating stores, limited events, night markets). The model can transfer to other games with rotating stores, such as Fortnite (itemshop.gg already exists), LoL, CS2, and Apex.
- Keep it narrow and clean, add 17 languages and storefront-title ASO, and a solo-built tool can chart in 30 small storefronts at once.
- Validate demand on Android first, then go to iOS. Reply to every review and turn negative reviews into positive ones.
9. What I'm still unsure about
- Revenue: there are ads, but eCPM and revenue scale are unknown, and likely very small (it hasn't entered top-grossing charts).
- Riot policy risk: Riot has pulled third-party store websites before (dotesports reported 2024-11). Users must log in with a Riot account, and negative reviews about login failures already exist (10-22, 10-25).
- Whether it runs paid ads: not found, but that can't be ruled out.
- Whether Manbo is the "China App" in the reviews: this is inference.
- Android early growth curve after the June launch: not in the database.
