# 602 followers, 7.89M views: Snitchy turned "snooping through someone's phone" into a pay-per-thousand-views TikTok account matrix

**What it is** A simulated phone detective game: dig through a missing person's texts, photos and social apps for clues, name the killer before time runs out, weekly subscription.

**Why it took off** It recruits ordinary people to run dedicated TikTok accounts, supplies ready-made scripts, and pays per view. An August video with 7.89M views put it on the French chart, and by late October accounts in Germany and the UK had produced million-view hits too.

**B** **How you could play it** Don't copy the game, copy the distribution: switch to Spanish, Portuguese or Italian, which it hasn't covered, localize the case to local names and streets, mass-recruit ordinary creators from its recruitment page to bet on hits, and put the paywall later.

Grade B: the playbook is public, cheap, and nobody has copied it in other languages yet, and few people know about it. But the category already has a dozen-plus entrants, the gameplay has no moat, it has not charted in any country, and whether this account matrix can turn into revenue is unproven. Few people know about it yet

Snitchy is a French-first detective game: you get a missing person's phone, go through texts, photos and social apps, and name the killer before the countdown ends. The mechanic isn't new; a dozen similar games appeared in 2026 years. What got it going is distribution: the team sets up ordinary people with dedicated TikTok accounts, supplies personas and scripts, and pays $1 per thousand views. Below: what it is, where the traffic comes from, where the money comes from, who it's competing with, and whether you can copy it.

### A girl named Camille, and her boyfriend Théo

In Aug 8 2026, a French TikTok account called @lscarla3 posted a video captioned only "Ma nouvelle passion 💅🏼" (my new hobby). The account's bio read "Ambassador Snitchy"; by Nov 6 it had only 602 followers, but the video had 7.89M views and 64k likes (TikTok, 11-06).

The top comment, with 1,177 likes: "My boyfriend is called Théo and I'm called Camille, should I be worried??" Replies followed like "I'm also called Camille" and "My ex who cheated was called Théo 😂", plus one with 581 likes: "Perfect, time to practice before I check my boyfriend's phone." From the comments, the case in the video's main characters are called Camille and Théo, a story about cheating (inferred). Viewers didn't see a "detective game", they saw "snooping through someone else's phone".

Another comment in the same thread: "You have to pay for the first case, make that clear" and "Is there a code that doesn't cost anything?" Those two comment types are basically all of Snitchy: a strong hook, a hard paywall.

The week the video went up, the French App Store reviews jumped by a dozen-plus: "My best friend told me to try it and I'm obsessed" (8-09), "Recommended to everyone who likes to stalk 👀" (8-10). Snitchy had only launched in Jul 21, and this video was the starting point of its French growth.

### What it is

- A simulated iPhone: texts (including deleted ones), photos (including hidden ones), email, social apps, voice notes. Long-press suspicious content to collect evidence, organize it in a case file, and name the killer within a time limit. Themes are disappearances, infidelity and romantic entanglements; Google Play lists 17+ downloads.

- The homepage of getsnitchy.app is in French, and the evidence cites street addresses in Paris's 11th arrondissement. There's also a "two-player mode": one person goes through the phone in the app while the other goes through a "computer" on the web, and the two argue over clues.

- Not much content. One French player 10-15 wrote: "I finished it in one go... too bad there are only 12 stories (plus two for two players), so it's over in two hours." Others said the images and videos are AI-generated (French store, 9-11, 10-22).

- Developer YM Labs (FZC), registered in a free zone in Sharjah, UAE, also has several apps including AI posters, invisible messaging and short dramas; a typical multi-app micro-studio. The bundle ID com.lastseen.ymlab shows it was originally called "Last Seen".

### How big it is, and where it's growing

Across all stores, 662 ratings in total, 10-28 of which came from 409; daily new ratings rose from 7 to 57, and charted countries from 10 to 37 (App Store, 10-28 → 11-06). Still small, but accelerating.

| Store | Ratings (11-06) | Charts |
|---|---|---|
| France | 435 (66%), 4.3 points | Overall free chart #137–205, Entertainment category steady at #14–17 (10-28~11-05) |
| Germany | 92 (10-28 is 46) | Overall free chart #108–181 (11-02~11-04), Entertainment category #12–20 |
| Belgium | 28 | 11-05 overall free chart #110, Entertainment category climbed from #77 to #12 |
| UK | 28 | Charted #11-05 in category, #177 overall on the 11-06 Top Free chart |
| US | 56 | Barely moved |

About 21k installs on Android, +7 in the last 6,395 days (Google Play, 11-06).

The order is clear: France first, then Germany, then Belgium and the UK. The day the UK started picking up, a video from the UK ambassador account @_miasecrets 11-03 hit 1.32M views. **It never charted in any country's top grossing list** , so from the outside there's no way to tell how much it made.

### Where users come from: a public account-recruiting matrix

Snitchy runs a dedicated recruiting site, creators.getsnitchy.app, which is very direct:

> You don't have to think about anything. We already have the format; you film it, post it, and get paid. You open a dedicated TikTok and post only Snitchy content. We give you the username, bio and avatar. Flat fee: you quote your own price (up to 5 videos per week). Performance-based: $1 per thousand views, no weekly cap, since we review every video. Paid every Monday.

Then a batch of TikTok accounts showed up that all looked the same: @asma.stalke (79 followers, one video with 10-11 and 870k views), @lilimystery (151 followers, one video at 1.34M), the German @leoniesophie.secrets (90 followers, one video at 610k, captioned "Anzeige" as an ad), and the UK's @_miasecrets (245 followers, one video at 1.32M). The names follow one template (xxx.secrets, xxx.stalke, xxxmystery), nearly one video a day, with captions like "I'm hooked", "addictive", "true crime girly" (TikTok, 11-06).

Now look at @lscarla3's recent work: one video a day from 10-30 to 11-05, "help me find her 🕵🏽", "haven't slept in two days", most getting between 400 and 5,000 views. This is what the play actually looks like: **most videos get a few hundred or a few thousand views, and the algorithm occasionally pushes one into the millions** . The official site itself says "14M views across TikTok and Instagram". At $1 per thousand views, that part comes to about $14k, plus a fixed fee (estimated).

User reviews fit too: "I heard about this app on social networks" (France, 10-17); a UK one-star, "the ads are a lie... the gameplay is exactly the ads, but the ads say it's free" (9-20). Here "the ads" most likely means these ambassador videos (inference). Meta and TikTok's European ad libraries show no paid ads for it, but that doesn't mean none were run. Nobody is talking about it on X, and no media has covered it.

### Where the money comes from: you pay a subscription after four or five cases

Free download, 3-day trial, then a weekly subscription. Reviews keep quoting about €6/week and £5/week, and there are annual plans too. The paywall sits early:

- "Pretty fun, but about 5 cases in you have to pay, and you can't finish the whole story." (UK, 10-29,2 stars)

- "You're forced to buy before you finish a single round." (Germany, 11-02,1 stars)

- "Said it was a 3-day trial, then charged me on day 2 before I could cancel." (France, 10-28,1 stars)

- "After 4 cases I was hooked, but 6 euros a week is more than I can afford... maybe giving away 2–3 free stories would keep people around." (France, 10-17,4 stars)

This is impulse downloads from short video, cashed in through a hard paywall: the few who pay pay a high weekly price, the rest leave bad reviews, and the overall score still holds at 4.3. The content uses AI-generated images and evidence, so each new case is cheap to make, which suits a "new case weekly to pull in subscribers" rhythm (inference).

### Who it's competing with

| Product | Launched | Scale | How it differs from Snitchy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duskwood | 2019-09 | Thousands of ratings in each store (Brazil 3,528, Germany 2,478), growth close to 0 | Veteran chat-style detective serial, unlocked by chapter |
| Stalkie · Mobile Detective (French indie developer) | 2026-01 | 1,662 ratings in France, 1,621 in Brazil, charted in 46 stores, recently slowing | Nearly identical gameplay, and earlier. It also has an official TikTok account. Snitchy came later and caught up with an account matrix. |
| ColdTrace: Cold Case Mystery | 2026-05 | 6,623 ratings in the US store, +7 in the last 256 days | Cold-case archive deduction, not a phone interface. Focused on the US and Latin America, bigger than Snitchy. |
| Leaked · Mobile Detective Game | 2026-08 | Charted in 28 stores, under 100 ratings in any single store | Same period, same category, smaller |
| SpyDiva, SpyBestie, Snoop, CluePhone, Spylie… | 2026-05~08 | All under 150 ratings | Same concept, none broke out |
| Spy Stories: Enquête Téléphone, Last Seen: Lost Phone Mystery | 2026-10 | Single digits to a few dozen ratings | Newly surfaced copycats |

(App Store rating count, 11-06)

"Solve the case by going through a phone" has been crowded for 2026 years. What Snitchy won with isn't the gameplay. Two-player mode and an interface closer to a real iPhone help, but the core is nearly the same as Stalkie's. What it won with is distribution: most rivals have a single official account, while it seeded dozens across France, Germany and the UK at once.

### If it were you

**The short version:** the category already has more than a dozen players, so copying the gameplay alone is pointless. What's valuable is the combination of "the gameplay recording is the content + a matrix of amateur accounts paid per thousand views + starting in one non-English market". It's public, cheap and copyable, and Snitchy itself hasn't reached most languages yet. The gap: no country's bestseller chart shows it yet, and whether this setup makes money hasn't been proven.

**Who it suits:** small teams that can quickly build a convincing "fake phone" interface and mass-produce cases with AI; people who can manage a group of amateur accounts (writing scripts, reviewing videos, settling weekly), or who already run UGC campaigns.

**Who it doesn't suit:** anyone hoping to win on gameplay innovation (there's no moat, and it gets copied in two weeks); anyone counting on organic traffic or unwilling to keep paying creators; anyone who can't localize content and only plans to publish in English.

**How to do it:**

- Other languages: Spanish (Spain, Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil, where Duskwood and Stalkie have 3,528 and 1,621 ratings respectively, showing people are playing), Italian, Polish. Snitchy has no ambassador accounts there yet. The US it has barely touched, but ColdTrace is already there, and English-speaking creators cost more.

- Localize cases down to the street and the names: the French version uses "Camille and Théo", and the comments section exploded on its own. Use the most common local names so viewers see themselves in them.

- Do what it hasn't done well: a later paywall (give away 2–3 full cases), trial charges that match what was promised, and a higher release cadence. Nearly all its bad reviews come down to these three things, which are also the risk points for store review and refunds.

**How to get users:** copy its recruitment page: amateurs open dedicated accounts, you provide the username, avatar, hook and structure, paid at a fixed fee or $1 per thousand views, with every post reviewed first. Don't pitch "detective"; pitch "I'm snooping on his phone" or "she went missing, help me find her". Use a few thousand dollars to seed 20–30 accounts, and see whether any video reaches the millions within two or three weeks.

**When to get in:** France is already taken by it and Stalkie. For other languages, move before Snitchy seeds its ambassador accounts there. It took over two months to go from France to Germany, then another month to the UK. At that pace, you probably have a quarter or two.

**What would mean you read it wrong:** if over the next month or two Snitchy still can't reach the bestseller charts in France or Germany, or its daily new ratings fall back into single digits, the account matrix is driving impulse downloads, not revenue, and the hard paywall isn't holding. Conversely, if it charts in Germany or the UK, or starts seeding Spanish and Portuguese, the approach is proven, and the room for late entrants is shrinking.

## Why Snitchy - Jeu d'enquête (iOS 6789592764) broke out

> Research date 2026-11-06. Data comes from our appstore, googleplay, metaads and tiktokads libraries (agent-im server), Apple's lookup API, TikHub (TikTok), and Jina web search and page extraction. Unless noted, the numbers are from those libraries.

### Bottom line

A small company in the Sharjah free zone in the UAE (YM Labs (FZC), contact yassine@ymlabs.ai) makes a "find the missing person with a phone" game called Snitchy. It didn't invent this genre (Duskwood came out 2019 years earlier, Stalkie 2026-01 earlier still), and its growth comes almost entirely from a **home-built TikTok "ambassador account matrix"** : they recruit regular people to run dedicated Snitchy accounts, the company supplies the account name, avatar and scripts, and pays **$1 per thousand views** or a flat fee. A video from August hit 7.9M views in France and put the game on the French chart. Ambassador accounts in Germany and the UK started producing hits in late October, and the countries where it charts grew from 10 to 37. Monetization is a hard paywall (you hit it after 4–5 cases and have to subscribe, about €6/week). That's why the comments are full of complaints, but it hasn't reached any Top Grossing chart yet.

### 1. What it is

- Unlock a fictional smartphone and go through texts, photos, emails, social apps and voice notes. Hold down on suspicious content to pull evidence, organize it in a Casebook, and name the culprit before time runs out. The themes are disappearances, affairs and romantic entanglements (Google Play lists 17+).

- The official site, getsnitchy.app, is in French and has a two-player mode: one person goes through the phone in the app, the other goes through the "computer" on the web and they trade clues (https://getsnitchy.app/, web version at /play/).

- Some reviews say the images and videos are AI-generated (fr 2026-09-11 "chaque média est généré par IA"; fr 2026-10-22 "contenu généré par IA"). According to one 2026-10-15 review, at the time there were 12 solo cases plus 2 two-player cases, so the whole thing could be finished in about two hours.

- The package name com.lastseen.ymlab shows it was originally called "Last Seen: Find the Truth" (the old name still appears on APKPure). It's listed on iOS 2026-07-21 and Android 2026-07-24, current version 1.3.2 (2026-10-31).

- The same developer also makes FlyerLab (AI posters, 2026-01), SIPHER (invisible messages, 2026-07) and OffScript: Dramas & Séries (short dramas, 2026-09), typical of a small studio with several apps.

### 2. Data: where the traction came from

- Global rating count: 2026-10-28 went from 409 to 11-06 ratings total in 662, daily new ratings rose from 7 to 57, and the number of countries where it charts went from 10 to 37 (data card).

- **France is the home market** : the fr store has 435 ratings (66% of total), averaging 4.32 stars (Apple lookup). On the French free overall chart it held between #10-28 and #11-05, steadily ranking #137 to #205 in the Entertainment category chart #14 to #17 (appstore.app_day). Reviews clustered in August (fr 2026-08-08 to 08-17 had over a dozen), matching the timing of the TikTok hit below.

- **Germany is the second market** : de overall free chart #11-02~#11-04, ranks #108–#181; Entertainment #12–#20. Ratings went from 46 to 92 (10-28 → 11-06).

- **Belgium and the UK only took off in November** : on the BE Top Free overall chart it hit #110 (11-05), climbing from #77 to #12 in Entertainment; on the GB store it only made the category chart at 11-05, and reached #177 overall on Top Free (11-06). The UK timing lines up with @_miasecrets's 11-03 video that got 1.32M views.

- Android: Google Play installs 20,880, +6,395 over the last 7 days (googleplay.app_profile).

- **No country shows a Top Grossing ranking** (data cards, app_day). Either revenue is still small, or it is spread across many countries and no single one clears the Top Grossing threshold.

### 3. Growth tactic: TikTok ambassador account network (confirmed)

**Evidence chain:**

1. The creator recruitment site creators.getsnitchy.app (operated by YM Labs (FZC), SRTI Park, Sharjah; license no. 11384) spells it out: "You open a dedicated TikTok. One account just for Snitchy. We give you the username, bio, and photo. We send the formats… You remake them, post, get paid. Fixed: set your rate (up to 5 videos/week). Performance: $1/1k, no weekly cap… Paid every Monday." Payouts go through Talentir.

2. The official homepage itself advertises "14M+ cumulative views on TikTok & Instagram" and lists videos from ambassador accounts by country: 🇫🇷 @lscarla 3 6.6M, @asma.stalke 680k, @lilimystery 630k; 🇩🇪 @angis.secrets 730k, @navera.secretfiles 350k, @leoniesophie.secrets 240k; 🇬🇧 @_miasecrets and others.

3. TikHub spot check (2026-11-06):
    - @lscarla3's bio reads "Ambassador Snitchy" and has 602 followers. **Her 2026-08-08 video "Ma nouvelle passion" got 7.89M views** , and 08-02 got 870k. This is where France's August surge started.
    - @asma.stalke has 79,10-11 followers, one video with 870k views; @lilimystery has 151,10-11 followers, one video with 1.34M views.
    - UK @_miasecrets has 245,11-03 followers, one video with 1.32M views; German @leoniesophie.secrets has 90,10-17 followers, one video with 610k views, and the caption carries "Anzeige" (ad disclosure).
    - The account names all follow one template (xxx.secrets, xxx.stalke, xxxmystery, snitchydes, snfranes40), with tens to hundreds of followers, nearly one post a day, and formulaic captions ("I'm hooked", "addictive", "true crime girly"). This is a classic **cold-start account network + bet on a hit** : most videos get a few hundred to a few thousand views, and occasionally one is pushed by the algorithm to the millions, bringing a wave of downloads.

4. User reviews back up the channel: "J'ai entendu parler de cette appli sur les réseaux" (fr 10-17); "Ma pote m'a dit de tester" (fr 08-09); UK negative reviews "Lying ad… the gameplay is exactly like the ad but then it says free to play" (gb 09-20) and "On the add is says complete free" (gb 10-23). The "ad" here very likely refers to the ambassador videos.

**Paid ads:** Neither the Meta Ad Library (searched by ios_id, Page name, landing domain) nor the TikTok European Ad Library (searched by ios_id, name, YM Labs) **returns anything** . But both libraries only track a named set of products, so no results doesn't mean no spend. For now the main channel looks like this pay-per-view creator network, a controllable variable cost: at $1 per 1,000 views, 14M views is roughly $14k, plus a fixed component (estimate, unverified).

**Other channels:** X (x-radar, last 90 days) 0 posts; no press coverage found, no Reddit / HN discussion found; no limited-time free promotions spotted.

### 4. Why users show up and pay

- "Snooping through someone's phone" is a strong TikTok hook by itself. Chat logs, hidden photo albums, and cheating clues on screen suit vertical short video naturally, and captions like "POV: this girl disappeared and you're going through her phone" pull in women who follow the true crime scene.

- Localized themes: native French copy, with evidence reading "LE PALMIER 12 rue des Arts 75011 Paris" (official site); Germany and the UK each have their own set of ambassador accounts.

- Monetization: free download, subscription after a 3-day trial. Reviews repeatedly mention about €6/week, £5/week, and annual plans too. Playing from case 4–5 hits the paywall (over a dozen negative reviews in fr 09-29, 10-14, gb 10-29 and others). Some reviews say the charge hit on day 2 of the trial (fr 10-28). This converts short-video impulse downloads with a hard paywall: the small share who pay pay a high weekly price; the rest leave bad reviews, though the overall rating still sits at 4.3.

- Low content production cost: reviews point out the images and videos are AI-generated, so each new case is cheap to make, fitting a rhythm of "new case every week to drive subscriptions" (inferred).

### 5. Competitors

| Product | Where | Launched | Scale (in the library) | How Snitchy differs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Duskwood(Everbyte GmbH) | iOS/Android | 2019-09 | Thousands of ratings in each store (br 3,528, de 2,478, fr 572), growth now close to 0 | An established chat-style detective serial, sold as a one-time purchase or unlocked chapter by chapter. Snitchy is a whole-phone interface with one case per round, plus a two-player web mode |
| Stalkie · Mobile Detective (Gregoire Collin, a French indie developer) | iOS | 2026-01-13 | fr has 1,662 ratings; charted in 1,621,46 stores; growth over the last 7 days has slowed (fr +11) | Nearly identical gameplay and earlier to market, with an official TikTok account (@stalkie_en). Snitchy is the later entrant, catching up through a more systematic ambassador network and multi-country localization |
| Leaked · Mobile Detective Game(Siarhei Ivaneichyk) | iOS | 2026-08-18 | gb has 70 ratings, charted in 28 stores; about +98 over the last 7 days (combined) | Similar products that appeared around the same time, smaller in scale than Snitchy |
| ColdTrace: Cold Case Mystery(Saclic Studio) | iOS | 2026-05-31 | us 6,623, br 2,784; us +256 over the last 7 days | Cold-case archive-style deduction, not a phone interface. Targets the US and Latin America, and is bigger than Snitchy |
| Suspects: Mobile Detective(Bonus Round) | iOS/Android | 2018-08 | us 11,333 | A multiplayer "Werewolf"-style game, a different mechanic that just shares a name |
| SpyDiva / SpyBestie / Snoop / CluePhone / Girl Detective: Phone Snoop / Spylie | iOS | 2026-05~08 | All under 150 ratings | A batch of similar concept small apps; none broke through |
| Detectea, Fille Détective, Girl Sherlock, Spy Story | iOS | Not verified | Unverified (appears in Snitchy's "You might also like") | Peers |
| Spy Stories: Enquête Téléphone(Martin Vion) | iOS | 2026-10-29 | fr has 7 ratings | New French copycat |
| Last Seen: Lost Phone Mystery(FAHRI FURKAN ILGEN) | iOS | 2026-10-01 | 45 ratings, #74 on the category chart | Shares a name with Snitchy's original title, "Last Seen" |

Takeaway: the "snoop through the phone to solve the case" category is crowded as of 2026. Snitchy isn't winning on gameplay. It's winning on distribution.

### 6. Differentiation

- Product-level differences: two-player mode (phone app plus a web "computer" for collaboration), a UI closer to a real iPhone, time pressure plus accusation mechanics, and native French and German content. The core gameplay overlaps heavily with Stalkie and Duskwood, so **it is not the reason for the surge** .

- The real difference is the **growth system** : industrialized TikTok creator recruitment, including a recruitment site, assigned account personas, script templates, review, weekly settlement, and pay-per-view, with dozens of accounts running across France, Germany, and the UK at once. Most comparable small apps have just one official account. That is why this one broke out.

### 7. Visibility

- Revenue is not public (not listed on TrustMRR, and the founders haven't shared it). X 0 posts, no press coverage.

- What's publicly visible is only the ambassador videos on TikTok, plus the 14M views it claims on its own website. At the business level, "few people know about it yet"; but a dozen-plus copycats already crowd the category, and the playbook is public (anyone can see the recruitment site).

### 8. What to borrow

1. The UGC farm model of "dedicated accounts + official personas + templates + $1 per 1,000 views": cost scales with views, runs in parallel across countries, and the odds of a hit are built by stacking accounts.

2. Pick a mechanic that naturally suits vertical screen recording (reading chats, browsing hidden albums). The recording itself is the content, so no editing skill is needed.

3. Launch in one non-English market first (France). Competition and creator prices there are lower than in the US. Once it works, copy it to Germany and the UK.

4. Use AI to generate evidence and images to cut the production cost of each case, then use a hard paywall to collect short-term subscriptions. Watch the side effects: negative reviews cluster around "the ad said free" and "charged after two days", which carries refund and store review risk.

### 9. Still unclear

- Actual revenue: no Top Grossing ranking anywhere; weekly subscription conversion and refund rates are unknown.

- Whether it runs paid ads on Meta / TikTok: our libraries show nothing, but their coverage is incomplete.

- The total number of ambassador accounts and total spend, and whether the website's 14M views claim holds up.

- The US store has barely taken off (us ratings 56). Unclear whether it hasn't been rolled out there yet, or is being deliberately held back.
