DreamWeave AI:AI Art Generator · L.A.M. BB, s.r.o.

An adult AI chat under a "four-panel comic" sign: DreamWeave has charted in 29 countries' Top Grossing, and it's not the comics

What it is The store page sells an AI four-panel comic generator. In reality it's an iOS entry point for PlayRole, an adult AI roleplay platform in a reskin, starting at $8.99/week.

Why it took off It sells unfiltered adult content that mainstream products won't offer on the App Store, places it in the graphics & design chart where the bar is very low in small countries, so a few subscriptions get it charting in dozens of countries, then a numbered TikTok account spamming "no filters" posts drives traffic.

EHow you can follow it Don't. If you want to build an AI character or AI image product, only two points are worth keeping: Japanese users are willing to pay for AI roleplay, and one backend localized per market. For adult-oriented products, go web with Stripe, not the App Store.

Grade E: The money-making part relies on getting past App Review with a comic shell and uploading under someone else's developer account, which can be pulled at any time. The official iOS entry from the same backend can no longer be found. Judging from 17 ratings and charting only in small-country category charts, it isn't earning much, and the comic feature is not why it took off. Still hardly anyone knows about it

DreamWeave AI describes itself on the App Store as "type a sentence, get a four-panel comic," and in Nov 6 it appeared on the Graphics & Design Top Grossing chart in 29 countries. Opening the reviews and following the support email shows what it actually sells: unfiltered AI roleplay and image/video generation that you can't buy on the App Store. The comics are just the shell that gets past review. Half of its charting comes from that shell, and half from the low bar of small-country category charts. Not worth following, but worth understanding: next time you see "charting in 30 countries" on a leaderboard, first ask which category and which countries.

"I thought it was just a comic tool"

In 2026 Sep 30, a US user gave DreamWeave a 1-star rating titled "Porn scam don't get!": "I thought it was what it says, a video or comic tool, but it's not, it lied." 9 days later another 1-star review was shorter: "Straight up porn!! I don't know how it hasn't been pulled." In the German store in Sep 11, a 1-star review raised the opposite problem: trying to get it to draw a four-panel comic of "fighting Sun Wukong" simply didn't work.

The description on the store page is a completely different story: "Type text and AI instantly generates a coherent four-panel comic" and "No drawing skills or drawing tablet needed," listed under Graphics & Design. Yet the same page has an age rating of 17+, with warnings for "sexual content and nudity," "mature/suggestive themes," and "horror." A four-panel comic tool has no need for any of that.

What it actually is

Piecing together several clues (all checked by 11-06):

  • The Android version tells the truth. The same-named com.dreamweave.gp.artgenerator on Google Play (2026-07-22 listed, developer Chien Yueh, an individual) describes itself as "combining roleplay script chat with AI image and video generation... step into the script and become the character, from urban romance to sci-fi adventure."
  • The support email domain is dreamingweave.com, which opens to "DreamWeave AI | AI Character Chat & Roleplay Platform." The character card images all come from playrole.ai's servers, and character tags include BDSM, Succubus, and Dominant/Submissive.
  • The backend is PlayRole. This is an adult AI roleplay platform. Its official Google Play app, "Ai Chat & Video-Roleplay" (developer BAKA LIMITED, listed 2026-04-23), has about 139K installs in total. Its official iOS entry, PlayRole.AI, could no longer be found in several storefronts including the US, Japan, Taiwan, Hungary, and Kuwait as of Nov 6 (cause unverified).
  • The iOS developer account belongs to L.A.M. BB, s.r.o., a company in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. Local business directories list it under metalworking, with 3 to 4 employees and only this one app, and the developer account is newly created. It looks very much like a rented or bought company account (inference; the transaction itself is unverified).

So DreamWeave is PlayRole under a new name, a new category, and a new developer entity, acting as an iOS entry point. Pricing is $8.99/week, $24.99/month, $89.99/year, plus credit packs. It's available only in English and Japanese, and the website dreamweave.cc is a single page of Japanese copy.

How big "charting in 29 countries" really is

First, the numbers. The iOS version launched in Aug 17. By Nov 6, across all storefronts combined, it had 17 ratings, and only three or four more in the last 10 days. It has never entered any country's overall chart. It only appears in the Graphics & Design category chart, and mostly the Top Grossing one: in Nov 6 it was #11 in Lithuania, #13 in Belgium, #24 in Saudi Arabia, #29 in Hungary, #30 in Norway, and #34 in Austria. In Nov 4 it peaked at #7 in Hungary (App Store charts, 11-06). The countries it charts in change every day: 28 countries in Oct 27, down to 31 countries in Oct 18, back up to 6 countries in Nov 29.

The Graphics & Design Top Grossing bar in these countries is very low, and one or two $8.99/week subscriptions can push you into the top 30. Translated, "charting in 30 countries" roughly means a trickle of subscriptions sold across Europe each day, not real scale (inference).

The Android curve shows it more clearly: 56,517 total installs and 145 ratings (Google Play, 11-06). Third-party estimates put it at 11 to 1,000 installs a day from Aug 4,300, a few hundred to over a thousand a day in September, dropping to dozens a day in October, and single digits to twenty-something a day in November. It only appeared in Japan's Tools Top Grossing chart, reaching #29 in Oct 44 and sliding to #6 in Nov 68. The Japan presence, plus a Japanese-only website, suggests Japan is one of its main target markets. The traffic from the August wave can't be matched to ad records on Google, TikTok, or Meta (TikTok only shows ads targeted at Europe, so absence of records doesn't mean no spend).

Where people come from: a TikTok account numbered 001

On TikTok there's an account called @dreamweaveaigenerator001, bio "Create your own no filters AI videos." It has 370 posts and 532 followers, and every caption is the same sentence (TikHub, 11-06).

From Oct 23 to 25 it posted short videos of a few to ten seconds, each getting a few hundred views. On Oct 27 it switched format, posting three single-image posts in a row. Two of them used the sound "SEX" and got 419K, 183K, and 100K views. The top one reached 419K views with only 343 likes and 9 comments. The most-liked comment was in Spanish: "No entiendo que es eso" (I don't understand what that is), and others asked "is it free or paid?" The gap between views and engagement is over a thousand times, which suggests the recommendation system pushed it to many random viewers rather than people following the account.

The account name includes "001," a sign of batch-created accounts posting in bulk. From Nov 4 to 6, the number of countries it charted in on iOS rose from 20 to 29, right after this wave of views (correlation, not confirmed causation).

Beyond that, no media outlet or X account has mentioned it. Its only "word of mouth" is 1 one-star reviews in the store.

(App Store, Google Play, 11-06)

Its only real differentiator is taking the unfiltered adult roleplay that's everywhere on the web, putting it in the App Store, and charging a weekly subscription through Apple accounts. That differentiator itself violates Apple's review rules: duplicate-submission shells, sexual content, metadata that doesn't match the features. The same backend already lost one iOS listing.

If it were you

Bottom line: Stay away. The part that makes money (selling adult content in the App Store) depends on getting past review, so it can be pulled at any time, and from the charts and ratings it doesn't earn much anyway. The part it advertises (four-panel comics) isn't why it's getting traction at all, and real comic tools in the same space are already much bigger than it.

Who it suits: Nobody should follow this one. If you're building a legitimate AI character or AI image product, take two things from it: Japanese users will pay for AI roleplay, so a Japanese version is worth a separate effort, and running one backend with different languages and store pages per market is normal localization.

Who it doesn't suit: Anyone who wants to copy the setup of white-label backend, reskinned listing, and borrowed developer account. Apple's response to that combination is removal plus account bans, and your developer account is holding your other apps and your payments.

How to do it: If you genuinely want to build adult-oriented AI companionship, the proper route is a web product with Stripe or a dedicated adult-friendly payment processor, with age verification up front. That's the path Janitor AI and Candy.ai take. It has nothing to do with the App Store, and nothing to do with DreamWeave.

How it gets users: Its numbered TikTok accounts occasionally hit 400k views, but views and engagement differ by over a thousand times, and that doesn't bring retention. Besides, this content breaks TikTok's rules too, so an account ban is only a matter of time.

What window there is: There isn't one. Shells like this live for weeks, and its iOS sibling is already gone.

What would mean I got this wrong: (1) DreamWeave stays on the App Store for half a year or more and reaches the top 20 of some large country's category grossing chart, which would mean Apple is clearing these shells more slowly than I assume and the money is bigger than the charts show. (2) Someone reaches several hundred ratings or more on the App Store with a legitimate AI comic generator that really turns one sentence into a coherent four-panel strip, which would mean the four-panel comic idea is a real need worth building on its own.

Where users come from
  • Confirmed Shell listing + small-country bestseller-chart arbitrage: 17+ rating with sexual content, yet listed under Graphics & Design as a comic generator. The 29 store chart is mostly grossing with no overall chart, and the rating is only 17 (iTunes lookup, appstore library).
  • Verified TikTok numbered matrix accounts: @dreamweaveaigenerator has 001 370 posts with one identical caption, "Create your own no filters AI videos." Three videos with 10-27 419k / 183k / 100k views (via TikHub 2026-11-06).
  • Confirmed Borrowed developer entity: The iOS publisher L.A.M. BB s.r.o. is a Slovak metalworking company (finstat.sk) with this as its only app. The Android version is under the individual Chien Yueh.
  • Confirmed Localized for the Japanese market: iOS is English and Japanese only, the website dreamweave.cc is Japanese only, and the Android version is on the Japan Tools bestseller chart (googleplay library).
  • Inferred Paid user acquisition: Googleads/tiktokads lists show status no_ads, and metaads has no match by App id or domain. The source of the Android August 1–4K/day pulse is unknown.

Why DreamWeave AI: AI Art Generator (iOS id 6793774467) is showing up on small-country bestseller charts

Research date 2026-11-06. Data sources: our appstore / googleplay / metaads / tiktokads / googleads libraries (agent-im machine), iTunes lookup and review RSS, Jina web search and scraping, TikHub (TikTok), x-radar.

Bottom line

This isn't an "AI four-panel comic" product. It's an adult AI roleplay and image/video app disguised with a comic-generator shell (a shell app). The backend is a reskin of PlayRole (playrole.ai), a white-label platform. The iOS version is published under a Slovak metalworking company's developer account, and the Android version under a personal Taiwanese name. What made it "take off" comes down to three things: selling "unfiltered" content you can't buy in the App Store (high willingness to pay), targeting small-country Graphics & Design bestseller charts (a few sales is enough to chart), and traffic from TikTok alt accounts posting "no filters AI videos". The four-panel comic angle is just the wrapper that gets it through review. It isn't why it makes money.

1. What it actually is

  • What the store listing says: Type a sentence and generate "story-consistent four-panel comics", or turn selfies and pet photos into comics. Category Graphics & Design. Subscriptions weekly/monthly/March/yearly (the data card lists the prices as weekly $8.99, monthly $24.99, yearly $89.99 plus credit packs). Languages are English and Japanese only. The website dreamweave.cc is a Japanese-only intro page (scraped via Jina, page published 2026-07-30).
  • The rating gives it away: iTunes lookup shows 17+, with advisories for "Infrequent/Mild Sexual Content and Nudity," "Mature/Suggestive Themes," and "Horror." A four-panel comic tool doesn't need any of those.
  • What users say in reviews (iTunes RSS, US store):
    • 2026-09-30 1-star: "Porn scam don't get! ... I thought it was just like a video creator or comic creator like it said but no it lied"
    • 2026-09-21 1-star: "Straight up porn!! I don't know how this hasn't been removed yet"
    • German store, 2026-09-11 1-star: the comic feature ("fighting Sun Wukong") simply doesn't work.
    • US store: 2 ratings averaging 1.0; UK store: 10 ratings averaging 2.5 (iTunes lookup 2026-11-06).
  • What the Android version of the same app says (googleplay library, app table, com.dreamweave.gp.artgenerator, developer Chien Yueh, published 2026-07-22): "blends role-play script chats with AI image and video generation ... [Enter the Script, Become the Character] From urban romance to sci-fi adventure". It's a roleplay chat, plain and simple.
  • The real identity: The support email domain dreamingweave.com opens to "DreamWeave AI | AI Character Chat & Roleplay Platform". All the character card images come from statics.playrole.ai, and the characters carry tags like "BDSM educator," "rope bondage," "Succubus," and "Dominant/Submissive" (Jina scrape 2026-11-06). In short, it is a reskinned entry point to PlayRole (playrole.ai), a white-label roleplay platform. There's also dreamweave.fun, a compliance facade page titled "Safety & Compliance / Age-Gated Content."
  • In the TikTok traffic account's own words: The account @dreamweaveaigenerator001 (display name DreamWeave AI Generator) has the bio "Create your own no filters AI videos." (TikHub, 2026-11-06).

2. Entity and accounts: a classic "borrowed listing"

  • iOS developer L.A.M. BB, s.r.o.: a company in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, IČO 36635421. FinStat classifies it as "metal processing", with 3–4 employees and annual revenue of about €3.69M in 2025 (finstat.sk, valida.sk, edb.cz). A traditional small business whose only app is this one, under a developer id 6801486224 that is new, looks very much like a rented or bought enterprise developer account (the transaction itself is unverified).
  • Android developer Chien Yueh: an individual, with a privacy policy hosted on chienyueh.ltd that is just one vague line about a "professional enterprise."
  • Parent platform PlayRole: On Google Play as com.playroleai.stroy.scppipou, "Ai Chat & Video-Roleplay," developer BAKA LIMITED, email [email protected], published 2026-04-23, with roughly 139k installs total (googleplay library). The iOS "PlayRole.AI" (id 6744962172) still shows up in Jina search results with kw and hu storefront pages, but 2026-11-06 iTunes lookup returns nothing in us/hu/kw/tw/jp. It's probably delisted or region-locked (cause unverified). A promotional post on r/CharacterAIrevolution reads "PlayRole AI: New Alternative in Open Beta ... treats users like adults."
  • Inference: the parent platform's official iOS listing is unlikely to survive long-term, so the operators re-entered the App Store through a shell setup that changes the name, the category (graphic design), the entity, and the language. DreamWeave is one of those shells.

3. Data: how far it has "taken off"

iOS (appstore library)

  • Overall rating 17 (data card). Over 10-28 to 10 days it only added about 3 ratings, and in between it dropped from 14 to 12 before climbing back (maybe Apple cleaned up ratings or the window stats are off; not verified).
  • Never charted in any country's overall chart. It only shows up in the Graphics & Design category chart, mostly on the Top Grossing side: 2026-11-06 charts in 29 stores, Lithuania #11, Belgium #13, Saudi Arabia #24, Hungary #29, Norway #30, Austria #34; 11-04 Hungary #7; 10-28 UK #24. The rankings jump between small countries day to day (appstore library app_day).
  • The Graphics & Design Top Grossing bar in these countries is extremely low. One or two weekly subscriptions ($8.99) are enough to reach the top 30, so "charted in 30 countries" roughly means a few subscriptions a day across Europe. It doesn't indicate scale.

Android (googleplay library, app_day / app_day_ext)

  • 56,517 lifetime installs, 145 ratings (11-06).
  • The curve is a clear single pulse: AppstoreSpy estimates 2026-08-11 onward at 1,000–4,300 installs a day, with cumulative reaching about 30k around 8-25. September ran from a few hundred to over a thousand a day (9-05–9-10 averages about 1,380/day). October fell to a few dozen a day, and November to single digits to the twenties.
  • Only on the Japan Tools Top Grossing chart (10-29 #44 → 11-06 #68, sliding steadily). This matches the iOS app being English/Japanese only and the website being Japanese only: Japan is one of its main revenue markets.

Paid acquisition (ad libraries)

  • It appears in the googleads / tiktokads watchlists (appstore: 6793774467) with status no_ads. Searching metaads by App ID and domains (dreamweave / dreamingweave / playrole) finds no advertiser.
  • So within what we can see, no evidence of paid ads was found. The Android August surge, 1–4K/day, looks like paid acquisition or content virality, but it doesn't match any of the three ad libraries. (Note: the ad libraries only cover watchlists, and TikTok only shows European ads, so not finding something doesn't mean it wasn't advertised.)

Creators / influencers (TikTok)

  • @dreamweaveaigenerator has 001:370 posts, 532 followers, 4,070 total likes. Every caption is the same line: "Create your own no filters AI videos." The 10-23–10-25 videos got a few hundred views, while three videos got 10-27 at 419k, 183k, and 100k views (TikHub 2026-11-06). The account name carries a "001" number suffix, which is typical of matrix accounts / bulk posting. iOS charting countries climbed back from 20 to 29 over 11-04–11-06, timing that lines up with the 10-27 spike (correlation, causation not proven).
  • X (x-radar 90 days) and media: no mentions found.

5. Growth tactics broken down

  1. Disguised listing + category arbitrage: adult roleplay packaged as "AI four-panel comics" in Graphics & Design to get through review. That category's Top Grossing bar is very low in small countries, so a few subscriptions chart it in dozens of countries, and it picks up some store search exposure from generic terms like "AI Art Generator".
  2. Borrowed entity: the iOS listing uses a Slovak metalworking company's developer account, and the Android one is under a personal name. If the main platform gets pulled, they can swap shells and restart quickly, isolating risk.
  3. TikTok matrix accounts spam "no filters" short videos: numbered accounts, one caption, multiple posts a day, occasionally hitting 100k–400k views.
  4. High-priced subscriptions + credit packs: from $8.99/week, high ARPU. Users call it a scam in reviews, but it doesn't care about retention, it earns on first-week subscriptions.
  5. Japan market: iOS is English/Japanese only, the website is Japanese only, and Android charts in Japan's Tools Top Grossing. Japan is one of the markets most willing to pay for AI roleplay.
  6. Paid acquisition: no evidence found.

6. Differentiation and whether it's the cause

  • The stated differentiators (four-panel comics, photo-to-comic) are not why it took off. User reviews say the comic feature doesn't work.
  • The real "differentiator" is offering uncensored adult AI roleplay, image generation, and video generation on the App Store. Mainstream products like Character.AI don't, and web versions can't use Apple payments. That's why it can sell $8.99/week subscriptions. But this "edge" rests on breaking Apple review rules (4.3 disguised listing, 1.1.4 sexual content, 2.3 misleading metadata), it can be pulled at any time, and the same backend already has an iOS entry that now can't be found.

7. Visibility and copycats

  • Few people know about it yet: no media coverage, zero X mentions, no public revenue. The only "discussion" is 1 one-star reviews in the store.
  • Copycats: none seen copying it. But this "PlayRole white-label + disguise" setup is itself a bulk re-skin model. DreamWeave and BAKA LIMITED's Android app are siblings of the same family, not copycats.

8. What others can borrow

  • The Top Grossing bar in small-country categories is extremely low, so when reading "charted in 30 countries" you need to discount by each country's and category's threshold. This is something our recall model should correct for.
  • TikTok numbered matrix accounts plus one caption posted in bulk is cheap and occasionally produces 100k-level views.
  • A white-label backend with multiple shells and entities for distribution is the common playbook for adult/gray AI products. The only layer a legitimate product can borrow is "one backend, multiple entry points, localized per market (Japanese)".

9. Uncertain

  • Real iOS revenue scale (inferred to be small: no overall chart, very few ratings). Whether the Android August spike was paid or TikTok, the ad libraries don't match.
  • Whether the L.A.M. BB account is rented, bought, or a real partnership: not verified.
  • Whether the PlayRole.AI iOS version was pulled by Apple, and when: not verified.
  • Whether TikTok has other matrix accounts beyond 002/003 (I guessed two numbered handles, neither exists).

This article was written by AI from public data and the data we collect daily. Numbers are sourced, and inferences are labeled.
