# A paddling log app that sells $99.99 in coins: Olen hit the charts in 91 countries in one week, and it has nothing to do with paddling

**What it is** : a 18+ chat / video dating app wrapped in a paddling community shell, charging in coins. The developer is a one-off Indonesian company account.

**Why it took off** : it got through review looking like an outdoor tool, then after the 1.1 version launched it ran paid acquisition in more than a dozen countries at once, including Vietnam, Brazil, Egypt and Turkey. It then rode the lifestyle Top Grossing charts of small countries, where the bar is almost nothing. 197 ratings put it on the charts of 91 countries.

**E** **How you could follow it** : don't. The only part you can take is the compliant part: use small-country category charts for cold-start exposure, and use "customers also bought" to link your own apps into a cross-promotion network.

Grade E: the product has no differentiation at all. The whole playbook relies on hidden features, reskinned re-listings and getting around in-app purchase rules that Apple's review guidelines explicitly prohibit. The account can be banned at any time. It runs on paid chat companions, batch accounts and off-store top-ups, which indie developers can't access. Similar apps occupy eight or nine slots in one recommendation spot. Few people know about it yet

Olen-Paddling calls itself a logging tool for stand-up paddleboard and kayak enthusiasts in the store, but its in-app purchases are 10 tiers of gold coins, with the top tier at $99.99. Its age rating is 18+ and it is tagged "Chat" and "User-generated content". It released version 1.1.0 in Oct 26. Within 3 days it spread from 2 countries' charts to 89, and by Nov 6 it was in 91 in total. It's one of several apps wrapped in an "outdoor interest community" shell, and the same template has also been used for skiing, stargazing and hiking. This piece explains what it is, where the traffic comes from, and why we don't recommend following it.

### A big button you can press through a dry bag

The first feature listed in the store description reads: "Log your paddling, big buttons on the dashboard, easy to press through a dry bag, with distance, duration, location and notes." Further down are a gear locker, recommended paddling spots and a safety guide, all written convincingly.

But scroll down the same store page and the in-app purchases are Coins: $0.99, $1.99, $2.99, $3.99, $5.99, $9.99, $19.99, $49.99, $79.99, $99.99 (App Store US store, 11-06). A paddling log tool doesn't need a hundred-dollar coin pack.

In Nov 2, a five-star review appeared in the Turkish store: "Olen mükemmel / Harika bir program" (Olen is great, a wonderful program). Reviews over the next few days were nearly all like this: "Güzel", "İyi", "Süper", "جامد اوى", "top", "Wow". In total there were 11, all five stars, one or two words each, and the usernames were mostly male. Only one US review got to the point: "I like finding other people". Not one review mentioned paddling (App Store reviews across storefronts, 10-31 to 11-04).

### What it actually is

Put the store-page details together: **a 18+ chat / video dating app charging in coins, dressed up in a paddling community skin.**

- **Rating and tags** : 18+, content labels "Messaging and Chat", "User-Generated Content" and "Social Media (Age Restricted)", plus age verification. The official privacy policy says "for users 18 and older only", then devotes a long section to child sexual exploitation and how to report explicit content (olen.cloud/privacy.html). That is the usual wording for a 1v1 social app that passes review.

- **The privacy labels include "data used to track you: identifiers"** , meaning cross-app ad attribution is wired in. You only need that if you pay for user acquisition. A logging tool doesn't.

- **The developer** is the Indonesian company PT PLATFORM USAHA PINTAR, which has only this one app. The company website usahapintar.net is a single page of "smart business solutions" boilerplate with no connection to the app. The bundle ID is `com.olen.manalu`, where Manalu is a surname of the Indonesian Batak people.

- **The "customers also bought" row is all same-category apps** : Ceno: Stargazing Community (stargazing), Berk: Ski Tracker & Community (skiing), Nook: Trail & Hike Community (hiking), Candra - Hobby & Skill Social, plus Renna-Live Stream&Connect, Huma - Live & Video and Bello: Nightlife & Friends (App Store US store, 11-06). This row is computed from real purchases: people who buy Olen coins also buy live-stream and video-chat coins elsewhere.

Olen has too few reviews of its own to show what it is, so its sibling apps speak for it:

> "full of fake profiles. Nothing about hobbies, just buy tokens to call profiles" (all fake profiles, nothing to do with hobbies, you just buy tokens to video-call people). Candra, one-star, UK store

> "No real riders. Just few stubs" (no real skiers, just a few dummy accounts). Berk, one-star, US store

Berk also has a one-star review in Turkey saying the user paid for tokens by EFT bank transfer and never received them, and the other side still demanded an ID number and date of birth. That suggests the product still runs off-store top-ups alongside Apple's in-app purchases (App Store reviews). We haven't confirmed whether Olen itself takes off-store top-ups.

### How big the traffic is, and where it comes from

| Date | Countries charted | Global cumulative ratings | Added that day |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10-28 | 2 | 0 | — |
| 10-30 | 89 | 0 | 0 |
| 11-02 | 89 | 16 | 10 |
| 11-04 | 91 | 112 | 61 |
| 11-05 | 86 | 185 | 73 |
| 11-06 | 91 | 197 | 13 |

(App Store charts and ratings by storefront)

Read these numbers together:

- **Charting in 91 countries sounds big, but it mostly reflects how low the bar is on small-country category charts.** Its best rank was #14 in Egypt's lifestyle Top Grossing, when the Egyptian store had only 22 ratings. It reached #14 Top Grossing in Mauritius, #19 in Senegal and #21 in Lebanon, where each storefront had 0 ratings. It never made the overall charts. In the US it only reached #159–186 on the Lifestyle Top Free chart.

- **Ratings are spread across more than a dozen countries, with no main market** : Vietnam 36, Brazil 26, US 23, Egypt 22, Turkey and Saudi Arabia 18 each, India 17, Philippines 15. A paddling app doesn't take off in Vietnam, Egypt and Saudi Arabia at the same time. This is what multi-country paid campaigns look like.

- **The shape is a single pulse** : new ratings of 35, 61, 73, then it drops to 13 in a day. Egypt's rating count was 11-05 and then 33 the next day, actually 11 fewer. That usually means Apple cleared out a batch of suspicious ratings (inference).

- **There's no organic buzz outside the store** : nobody mentions it on X, TikTok search returns no related videos, no media coverage, and it only shows up on a few chart aggregator sites.

So the traffic is almost certainly bought (inference: it doesn't appear in any public ad library we can search, so the channels and spend are not visible from outside). The money returns are also clear: male users buy coins for chat and video calls, with a single purchase up to $99.99. Small-country Top Grossing charts need only dozens of paying users, which suggests it relies on each payer spending a lot, not on lots of users.

### Same template, five reskins

| App | Shell | Developer | Launched | 1.1.x version | Countries charted | Cumulative ratings |

| Nook | Hiking | LOGICORE TECHNOLOGY LTD | 07-14 | 09-04 | 54 | 192 |
| Ceno | Stargazing | PT UTAMA BINA JAKA | 08-19 | 10-22 | 87 | 408 |

| Candra | Hobby skills | PT SAGE LINK TECH | 08-30 | 10-14 | 58 | 547 |
| **Olen** | Rowing | PT PLATFORM USAHA PINTAR | 09-30 | 10-26 | 91 | 197 |

(App Store,11-06)

This playbook isn't unique to this one company. In February Apple pulled a batch of video-chat apps, and since then this kind of product has switched to names like singing, dancing, travel planning and outdoor sports, tucked into Lifestyle as "hobby communities". On Android there is also a batch of video-chat clones under Indonesian company names. On Olen's store page alone, eight or nine similar apps are sitting in the recommendation slots.

The real paddling apps serve as the control group: Paddle Tracker, Paddle Routes, Go Paddling, Paddle Ways and others. Some have been around for over a decade and barely appear on any country's charts. A paddling log by itself can't hold up a chart in 91 countries.

### If it were you

**Grade E: stay away.**

**One-line verdict** : Olen got where it is through "outdoor shell passes review + multi-country paid acquisition + low bar on small-country category charts". The product itself has nothing to it. The paddling theme is there to get past review and spread out the risk of bans. Apple's review guidelines explicitly prohibit this: hidden features (2.3.1), reskinned duplicate listings (4.3) and taking money outside in-app purchase (3.1.1). The 16 update in Oct 2.5.19 specifically calls out switching features after review. Violators get pulled, and developer accounts get banned.

**Who it suits** : strictly speaking, no one. Making money this way takes a platform that already has live hosts or companion supply, batch developer accounts, an off-store top-up channel and an ad team. Indie developers and small teams lack all of these and can't get them.

**Who it doesn't suit** : anyone trying to earn long-term from a single app. The accounts are built to be banned, the recommendation slots are already crowded with eight or nine rivals, and revenue has to be backed by gray-area top-ups.

**What you can take away** (none of this breaks the rules):

- **The bar on small-country category charts is close to zero** : Egypt needed only 22 ratings to reach the top 15 in Lifestyle Top Grossing, and some storefronts charted with just 0 ratings. A legitimate product can use these charts for cold-start exposure, but don't treat "charting in dozens of countries" as a revenue signal, whether it's your app or someone else's.

- **"Customers also bought" can form a network** : when one company runs several apps, people who bought one will see the others on their store pages. It's free cross-traffic inside the store, and compliant products can use it too.

- **Signals for spotting disguised apps** : Lifestyle category + 18+ rating with a chat tag + coin-based in-app purchases + one-off developer + a row of Live / Video apps in the recommendations. Next time a "niche hobby app" suddenly charts in dozens of countries, check these items first.

**What would make this read wrong** : (1) by 2027 February, most of the Olen, Berk and Ceno shells are still listed and still charting, which would mean Apple never really enforced it and the window for this playbook is longer than it looks; (2) someone shows evidence that a product like this can support a small team on in-app purchase revenue alone and stay unbanned over the long run.

**Research notes: competitor table, acquisition evidence, full research report**

Competitors

| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Berk: Ski Tracker & Community | iOS | 2026-08-28 | Charting in 101 storefronts, 402 ratings across all storefronts, 7 day +238, Mauritius Lifestyle Top Grossing #2 | Same template in a skiing shell, listed about a month earlier, with roughly 2 times Olen's volume. Reviews mention off-store EFT token top-ups. |
| Ceno: Stargazing Community | iOS | 2026-08-19 | 87 storefronts, 408 ratings, 7 day +268 | Stargazing shell on the same template, 10-22 listing, 1.1.0,10-30 scale-up, about a week ahead of Olen |
| Nook: Trail & Hike Community | iOS | 2026-07-14 | Charted in 54 stores, 192 ratings | Hiking shell on the same template. The developer is an LTD rather than an Indonesian PT, and the volume is flatter. |
| Candra - Hobby & Skill Social | iOS | 2026-08-30 | Charted in 58 stores, 547 ratings | Hobby & skill shell. The one-star reviews say directly that it's token purchases and fake profiles for video calls. |
| Paddle Tracker: SUP GPS / Paddle Routes / Go Paddling and other real paddling apps | iOS | 2012–2026 | Basically absent from our database rankings | It's a real tool, with no gold-coin IAP and no 18+ chat. Those are what get apps charted, so it argues against the idea that Olen's money comes from the paddling feature |
| Azar / MICO / Chamet and other 1v1 video social apps | iOS | Years ago | Top brands | Legit brands list directly under a social-app label; Olen has no brand, uses one-off accounts, and gets through review with a hobby disguise |

Where users come from

- **Verified** **Hobby-community disguise to pass review + version switch** : the description says paddling, but the IAP is 10 Coins tiers ($0.99–$99.99), 18+ rated, tagged Messaging/UGC/Social Media (Age Restricted); version 1.1.0 10-26 shipped, and 3 days later the charted-country count jumped from 2 to 89

- Inferred **Paid acquisition (multiple countries at once)** : the privacy labels include Identifiers used for cross-app tracking; ratings are spread across a dozen-plus storefronts including vn/br/us/eg/tr/sa/in/ph, with a pulse pattern that matches the scaling rhythm of Berk and Ceno 10-30; no organic content; not indexed in the metaads library

- **Verified** **Low bar for Lifestyle top-grossing charts in small countries** : in Egypt, 22 ratings was enough for top-grossing #14; Mauritius, Senegal and Lebanon, with rating counts of 0, also made the top-grossing 14–21 spots

- **Verified** **Cross-promotion via "customers also bought"** : the recommendation strip is full of similar apps like Ceno, Berk, Nook, Candra, Renna, Huma - Live & Video, Bello

- Inferred **Incentivized reviews / review farming** : all 11 reviews are 5 stars with one or two words; daily rating count in Egypt went from 11-06 to a daily drop of -11

- Inferred **Press / creators / X / TikTok** : 0 posts on x-radar; searching olen app on TikHub turns up no relevant videos and no press coverage

## Olen-Paddling (iOS id6795809940) research report

> Today 2026-11-06. Data sources: our appstore library (app_day / app_profile / app / review, from 2026-10-28), Apple lookup and store pages (scraped 2026-11-06), Apple review RSS (13 storefronts), Jina web search and page scraping (olen.cloud, usahapintar.net, the store's "You might also like" pages), x-radar, TikHub, and the metaads library. Storefronts checked: a full sweep of 115 storefronts first, then a closer look at eg / tr / sa / in / my / id / pk / us / gb / kr.

### Bottom line

**It's not a paddleboard app. It's a $0 utility shell hiding a 18+ coin chat / video dating app.** It follows the same template as Berk (skiing), Ceno (stargazing) and Nook (hiking): a one-off developer account under an Indonesian PT company, package names like `com.<name>.life`, a 1.1.0 version pushed out in late October, and a spike in traffic starting around 10-30. It gets to the charts through three things: it passes review looking like an outdoor tool, paid acquisition floods the Middle East, Turkey, South Asia, Southeast Asia and Latin America, and small-country Lifestyle charts have such low bars that 197 ratings was enough to chart in 91 stores. The product itself has no edge.

### 1. Performance

- Listed 2026-09-30 (1.0), **version 1.1.0 shipped 2026-10-26** , release notes only say "bug fix and improvement" (Apple lookup).

- Charted-country count: 10-28 had 2 → 10-29 had 51 → 10-30 had 89 → 11-06 had 91 (data card daily_all_countries). In other words, 1.1.0 days after the 3 release, it spread out overnight.

- Total rating counts across storefronts: 10-30 was 0 → 10-31 was 5 → 11-02 was 16 → 11-03 was 51 → 11-04 was 112 → 11-05 was 185 → 11-06 was 197. Daily new ratings were 5 / 2 / 10 / 35 / 61 / 73 / 13, shaped like a single wave (data card).

- Storefronts where it's rated (appstore.app_profile, 11-06): vn 36, br 26, us 23 (lookup), eg 22, tr 18, sa 18, in 17, ph 15, my 10, id 9, mx 7, co 5. No single storefront dominates, which is typical of multi-country spend.

- Its best ranks are all Lifestyle category charts in small or mid-sized markets, and it never made the overall chart: Egypt top-grossing #14 (free chart #7 at 10-30), Mauritius top-grossing #14, Senegal #19, Jordan free #20, Lebanon #21, Slovenia #26, Pakistan (10-31 / 11-04) top-grossing #12; the US only reached free-chart ranks 159–186, and the UK top-grossing 169 (appstore.app_day).

- Egypt rating count 11-05 dropped from 33,11-06 to 22(-11)(appstore.app_day). A one-day drop in ratings usually means Apple purged a batch of suspicious ratings (inferred).

### 2. What the product really is (evidence)

1. **The IAP is 10 Coin tiers: $0.99 to $99.99** (plus 1.99 / 2.99 / 3.99 / 5.99 / 9.99 / 19.99 / 49.99 / 79.99). A paddling-tracker app wouldn't sell $99.99 coin bundles (US App Store page).

2. **Age rating 18+, content tags are Messaging and Chat, User-Generated Content, Social Media (Age Restricted), plus Age Assurance** (store page). The privacy policy says it's "exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older" and devotes a whole section to CSAE and reporting sexual content (olen.cloud/privacy.html). That's the standard wording 1v1 social apps use to pass review.

3. **The privacy labels include "Data Used to Track You: Identifiers"** (store page), meaning cross-app attribution is wired up. Paid acquisition needs that; a pure tracking tool doesn't. But the policy text says it's "not used for third-party ads", which contradicts the labels.

4. **The "You might also like" strip in the App Store is all sibling shells and live / video-chat apps** : Ceno: Stargazing Community, Berk: Ski Tracker & Community, Renna-Live Stream&Connect, Nook: Trail & Hike Community, Candra - Hobby & Skill Social, Bello: Nightlife & Friends, Huma - Live & Video, Plukis, Mocle Life (apps.apple.com US customers-also-bought page). "Customers also bought" is computed from real purchase behavior: people who buy Olen coins also buy live-streaming and video-chat coins.

5. **Negative reviews on its sibling apps show what's underneath** (Apple review RSS):
    - Berk (ski shell), US, 1 stars: "App is completely different then my friends app" "No real riders. Just few stubs". Turkey, 1 stars: "Eft havale yaptım tokensleri yüklemediler kimlik bilgilerinizi illa istiyorlar", meaning "I paid for tokens by EFT bank transfer and didn't get them, and they still demand my ID number and birthday". This points to off-Apple top-ups (also captured in appstore.review).
    - Ceno (stargazing shell), US, 1 stars: "The token is expensive".
    - Candra (hobby-social shell, also an Indonesian PT), UK, 1 stars: "full of fake profiles. Nothing about hobbies, just buy tokens to call profiles"; Egypt, 1 stars: "Sexual video calls".

6. **Olen's own reviews are all five-star one- or two-word posts** : "Güzel / İyi", "H / T", "Süper", "جامد اوى", "top / ok", "Good application", "very good", "Wow". 11 in total, all 5 stars, reviewer names mostly male (RSS, 10-31 to 11-04). Only one US review, "I like finding other people", touches on finding people, and it has nothing to do with paddling. Average rating 4.83 (lookup). This looks like incentivized or farmed reviews (inferred).

7. **The official site and company are templates** : olen.cloud went live 2026-07-31, and it only repeats the store description. The developer site usahapintar.net is generic "Intelligent Business Solutions" boilerplate ("enterprise software that feels like a notebook") with nothing to do with the app. The developer has only this one app (App Store developer page). The bundle id is `com.olen.manalu`; Manalu is a Batak surname from Indonesia, which fits an Indonesian PT entity.

### 3. Competitors and sibling matrix

**Nominal competitors (real paddling apps)** : Paddle Tracker: SUP GPS (2025-08), Paddle Routes: Kayak & Canoe (2026-08), Go Paddling (VerticalScope, 2012), Paddle Ways (OnWater, 2023), PaddleToday (2026-05), Wakes • Paddle Spots (2025-10), and others. These are run by individuals or small teams and barely rank in our library (appstore.app). Olen's chart performance doesn't come from paddling users; if anything, it shows the money isn't coming from the paddling feature.

**The real peers (same template, summarized from appstore.app_profile 11-06)** :

| App | Shell | Developer (store seller) | Bundle ID | Launched | 1.1.x release | Stores charted | Total ratings / 7 day | Best rank |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nook: Trail & Hike Community | Hiking | LOGICORE TECHNOLOGY LTD | com.nook.life | 07-14 | 09-04 | 54 | 192 / 82 | 18(Lifestyle) |
| Ceno: Stargazing Community | Stargazing | PT UTAMA BINA JAKA (displayed as ceno) | com.ceno.life | 08-19 | 10-22 | 87 | 408 / 268 | Lebanon free #3 |
| Berk: Ski Tracker & Community | Skiing | PT SANDI DAYA GUNA (displayed as Berk SANDI) | com.berk.life | 08-28 | 10-22 | 101 | 402 / 238 | Mauritius top-grossing #2, Pakistan free #3 |
| Candra - Hobby & Skill Social | Hobby skills | PT SAGE LINK TECH | com.candra.ios | 08-30 | 10-14 | 58 | 547 / 37 | 8 |
| **Olen-Paddling** | Rowing | PT PLATFORM USAHA PINTAR | com.olen.manalu | 09-30 | 10-26 | 91 | 197 / 197 | Egypt top-grossing #14 |

- The scaling rhythm is nearly identical: Ceno and Berk added 10-30 ratings in a single day, +118 / +139, then dropped off day by day to a dozen or so; Olen came a few days later, with 11-03 to 11-05 running +35 / +61 / +73,11-06 before falling back to +13 (appstore.app_day). It looks like one operator releasing budget to each shell in batches; this looks like the same team (inferred, not verified).

- Earlier reports on similar apps: Viva - Sing (singing shell, ios_6800981232), Bobo - GO Chat (dancer shell, ios_6811792557), Ruli (travel-packing shell, ios_6807729703). On Android there's also a batch of video-chat disguises run by Indonesian-named or PT accounts (Suka, Yoko, Lavo, Koko, etc., play_com.suka.blog.and), and Huma - Live & Video's developer is also Indonesia's PT DATA INTI NUSAN. This playbook has been an established "going global 1v1 video social + Indonesian entity + hobby shell" pipeline for 2026 years.

- The big legitimate peers in the same space: Tinder, Badoo, Azar, MICO, Chamet and other 1v1 video social apps. Olen differs from them only in that it has no brand; it uses one-off accounts and an outdoor-hobby shell.

### 4. Growth tactics

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed? |
|---|---|---|
| Hobby-community disguise to pass review + version switch | 1.0 passed review on 09-30; 1.1.0 shipped on 10-26, and 3 days later the charted-country count jumped from 2 to 89. The store copy says paddling, but the IAP is 10 coin tiers, and it's still 18+ chat / UGC. | Confirmed as a shell; whether 1.1.0 is the actual "switch" is not directly verified |
| Paid acquisition (multiple storefronts at once) | Declares cross-app tracking Identifiers; ratings show up across a dozen-plus stores (vn / br / eg / tr / sa / in / ph / us), with a pulse-shaped curve that matches the rhythm of its sibling apps; x-radar shows 0 posts, and TikTok search finds no related videos, so no organic content; not indexed in the metaads library (that library only tracks a watchlist) | Unconfirmed (inferred) |
| Small-country Lifestyle grossing charts have a low bar | Egypt charts it at grossing #14 with just 22 ratings; Mauritius, Senegal and Lebanon also charted grossing at ranks 14–21 with rating counts of 0 | Confirmed |
| "Customers also bought" cross-traffic between sibling apps | Store recommendation slots list similar shells such as Ceno, Berk, Nook, Candra, Renna and Huma | Confirmed (the recommendation slots exist); how much traffic they send is unknown |
| Prompting positive reviews or fake reviews | 11 reviews, all 5 stars, one or two words each; Egypt rating count down 11 in a single day | Unconfirmed |
| Off-store top-ups | Sibling app Berk's Turkish reviews mention buying tokens via EFT bank transfer and asking for an ID card | Only seen on the sibling app; Olen itself was not checked |
| Media, influencers, X, Reddit | None found | — |

Where the money comes from: male users buy coins for chatting and video calls (top single tier $99.99), and off-store top-ups are likely. Small-country grossing charts can be reached with few users, which means high spend per payer; the business relies on high ARPPU rather than user count (inference).

### V. How many people see it

- Not many people know about it yet. No media coverage; X (x-radar) shows 0 posts; no related TikTok videos. It only appears on chart aggregator sites like similarweb, appfigures, icharts and storank. Revenue is not public.

- The "outdoor-interest shell video chat" template is already crowded in the shell-app circle: the same recommendation slot has 9 similar apps, so this is not a new opportunity.

### VI. Why it made it to the charts

1. The starting point was passing review: an outdoor-tool description plus a compliant privacy policy (18+, CSAE terms) got it listed and into the Lifestyle category.

2. The traffic came from paid acquisition: after launch, 1.1.0 was rolled out to 89 storefronts within 3 days, and ratings pulse across a dozen-plus stores with the same rhythm as Berk and Ceno.

3. Charting relied on the chart threshold: the small-country Lifestyle grossing chart has almost no bar, and storefronts with only 0 ratings still place it in the top 20, so "charted in 91 storefronts" greatly inflates its real scale.

4. Monetization relies on high-ticket coins: 10 coin tiers up to $99.99, targeting male paying chat demand; sibling app reviews also show off-store transfers.

### VII. Differentiation

There is no product-level differentiation. The only "difference" is that this shell picked paddling as its theme, just like Berk's skiing, Ceno's stargazing and Nook's hiking. It is only a reskin used to pass review and spread out ban risk. This reskin is indeed the precondition for it to list and chart, but it is regulatory arbitrage (App Review Guidelines 2.3.1 hidden features, 4.3 duplicate apps, 3.1.1 bypassing in-app purchase), and it could be removed or renamed at any time.

### VIII. Takeaways

- Filter rule: Lifestyle category + 18+ with Messaging/UGC noted + coin in-app purchases + an Indonesian PT or one-time developer account + "customers also bought" containing Live/Video terms should be labeled directly as a social shell, not treated as a new opportunity.

- The small-country category grossing charts have an extremely low bar: legitimate products can use these charts for launch exposure, but don't treat charting here as a revenue signal.

- The "customers also bought" slot can weave shells from the same company into a cross-referral network, which is free in-store cross-traffic.

### 9. Uncertain

- We haven't tested this in the App ourselves, so we can't see whether 1.1.0 has switched to chat mode server-side, or whether the other side is a real streamer or an AI.

- No evidence for specific paid acquisition channels or spend (Meta's ad library does not track it, and TikTok's ad library only covers Europe).

- Whether the five shells belong to the same company: templates, rhythm and recommendation slots are consistent, but no shared legal entity or domain evidence was found.

- No estimate of revenue scale.
