> It's most likely from Turkish AI app studio Wowoo, which opened a new company to launch this. It buys users through ads on TikTok and others, earns from weekly subscriptions and credit packs, and uses rating prompts to push its star rating to 4.75. Small-country Top Grossing charts have low bars, so it charted in dozens of countries at once. Its actual scale is very small.

# A denim jacket tossed on a bed: OnStage is a new product from a Turkish app factory and hasn't really taken off yet

**What it is** An AI tool for online store and secondhand marketplace sellers. Snap one product photo and it generates white-background shots, lifestyle scenes, model-wearing images, and 15 to 60 second video ads.

**Why it took off** Most likely a new company set up by Wowoo, a Turkish AI app studio, listed on the store, bought installs through TikTok and other ads, collected money through a weekly subscription plus credit packs, and pushed its star rating to 4.75 with rating prompts. Small-country category charts have low bars, so it reached the top of dozens of countries' charts quickly, though its real scale is small.

**C** **How you could follow** Don't build an all-in-one product photo tool. Pick a group the generic tools ignore (Spanish-speaking small restaurants, Depop / Vinted secondhand clothing sellers), build a tool in their language that goes from photo to listing in one step, and get users where they already are: TikTok and their communities.

C grade: the need is real, but the space is crowded. Photoroom and Pixelcut are the leaders, and new apps using the same templates launch every week. Even OnStage, backed by a paid-acquisition factory, has only reached about #160 in the US Top Grossing category. You can learn from its playbook and monetization design, but copying it wholesale isn't worth it. Only a small vertical audience is worth testing. Few people know about it yet

OnStage turns a casual phone snapshot of a product into studio shots, model-wearing images, and 15-second video ads. It launched on iOS in Sep 22, and by late October it had charted in the Graphics & Design Top Grossing category in 33 countries at once. In the US, though, it ranks #161 in its category, with Pixelcut at #6. Below: who makes it, what got it started, where the money comes from, and what an indie developer still has room to do in this space.

### A five-star review on day three

In Sep 2026 25, on the third day after launch, a long five-star review appeared on the UK App Store. The reviewer, stephaneMainland, says they sell vintage and secondhand clothes on Depop and eBay, and saw the app's ad on TikTok:

> "I almost scrolled past it. I've tried so many of these 'one-click studio' apps and they're all hard to use. ... I tested it on a denim jacket tossed on a bed, with a laundry basket in the background, and it cut out the jacket cleanly on the first try. I didn't have to touch up the buttons or loose threads myself."

They then went through the features one by one: white backgrounds for eBay, nice rooms for Instagram, virtual models that "don't look like melted mannequins," and invisible mannequins for blazers. Last, they gave a thoughtful suggestion: could the free trial be longer?

A review this considerate on an app only three days old looks a lot like a seed review (inference). The two real signals it gives: this app advertises on TikTok, and the users it wants are solo sellers running small businesses on secondhand and e-commerce platforms.

### What it is

An AI product-photo tool for sellers that does it all: background removal, background swaps, AI-generated scenes, product mockups, auto-enhance, virtual models, invisible mannequins, upscaling to 4K, color changes, style transfer. It also bundles the video features that became popular last year: Ad Studio writes the ad concept first, then renders it into 15, 30, or 60-second videos; UGC Studio has an AI creator hold your product and demo it in a scene you pick. The store page targets "Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Poshmark, Depop, and Vinted sellers."

Pricing (US App Store page):

| Tier | Pricing |
|---|---|
| OnStage Plus weekly subscription | $7.99 |
| Annual subscription | $49.99 / $69.99 |
| Business monthly subscription | $34.99 |
| Credit packs | 1,000 for $4.99,3,000 · 11.99,10,000 for $29.99 |

3-day free trial. A one-star US review from Oct 1 says the trial gives no credits, so you have to buy a credit pack to use it, and "the money got charged but the credits never arrived." A weekly subscription plus credit packs charges twice, and people who decline the subscription can still be sold a credit pack.

### Who made it

The store lists the developer as Tera One Yazılım Hizmetleri A.Ş., based in Urla, İzmir, Turkey, with this as its only app. The site teraone.app calls itself "an app studio from İzmir," and two other products are marked "coming soon."

But its Android version (launched Aug 28, a month before iOS) has the package name `com.wowoo.aiproduct.photography`. Wowoo is a Turkish AI app studio. Its site claims 50M+ users, $20M in revenue, and 75+ people, and it has made ChatPrime, Unblur AI, and AI Baby Generator. OnStage's website download button uses an Adjust attribution short link, the same format as the download links for Wowoo's apps.

The most likely explanation: Tera One is a new company Wowoo set up for this one product, which is a common pattern among Turkish app factories, "one product, one entity" (inference; the two have never publicly disclosed a relationship). This shapes every judgment below: it isn't a solo side project, it's backed by a team that buys paid user acquisition.

### How fast it's growing

- US ratings: Oct 28 143 ratings, Nov 6 219 ratings, average 4.75 (App Store, 11-06). Across all stores about 363 ratings in total, with 7 new in the last 92 days.

- Countries charted: Oct 30 was the peak, with 33 countries reaching the Graphics & Design category chart. Slovakia hit #3 on Top Grossing, Singapore and Hungary at #12, Belarus at #22. It fell steadily after that, down to 17 countries in Nov 6.

- US: in the category's Top Grossing chart it bounced between #155 and #180, reaching #6 in Nov 161.

- Android: Nov 6 cumulative 15,217 installs, about 7 more over 880 days (Google Play install count). The version has been stuck at Sep 28 for over a month with no update.

That #3 rank in Slovakia came when it had zero ratings there. Category grossing charts in small countries have a low bar, and a few subscriptions can land you in the top 50. 33 countries spiking and then falling together looks more like a concentrated ad push than word of mouth. The US category ranking of #150 and below likely corresponds to tens to a couple hundred dollars a day in revenue (estimate). Money is coming in, but at a small scale.

### Where users come from

**TikTok ads.** The review above says it outright. How much was spent and which countries were targeted isn't visible from the outside.

**Facebook.** There's a page called "OnStage AI" that posted a 17-second Reel in Oct 29: "Try this best AI Product Photo and Video Generator App," with 1,700 views. Whether it's running ads can't be confirmed without logging in; unverified.

**Incentivized ratings.** Of 219 US ratings, only 13 have text; of 530 Android ratings, only 23 do. Many of the US text reviews are a word or two in Spanish, with odd titles: "Carbón y leña / La mejor comida criolla" (charcoal and firewood / the best Creole food), "Mascarilla intensiva para el cabello / Argan, Macadamia y Tahití" (intensive hair mask / argan, macadamia, and Tahitian). A UK review is titled "Sizzling chicken." It looks like the rating prompt appeared right after the user typed a business or product name, and they typed it into the review box (inference). These reviews do reveal the real users: small Spanish-speaking restaurants in the US, a small hair-product shop, and a fried chicken place in the UK.

**No organic spread.** Searching "onstage app" on TikTok turns up only a church scheduling app with the same name. Nobody is discussing it on X, Reddit, or Product Hunt. Sharing its name with another app hurts both word of mouth and search.

### Who it's competing with

This category is extremely crowded, and the incumbents are entrenched:

| Product | Launched | Scale (US store) | vs. OnStage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Photoroom | 2019 | ~231k ratings, category Top Grossing around #20 | Category leader, started with background removal, has every feature |
| Pixelcut | 2020 | ~222k ratings, category Top Grossing #6 (11-06) | Does both product photos and AI video, with brand and scale |
| Arvin: AI Product Photo Maker | 2023 | ~59k ratings, category Top Grossing around #20 | Nearly identical positioning |
| Kiva: AI Product Video & Ads | 2026-06 | 564 ratings, Top Grossing around #170, no rating growth in the last 7 days | Same template, even the naming follows the same formula |
| AI Product Video & Ad - Pixury | 2025-09 | 396 ratings, Top Grossing around #135 | Same template, without the apparel features |

Beyond these, from 2026 9 to November the US store has seen new "AI product photo / product video" apps every week: Cheeppy, BrandStills, Snappy, Vidmerce AI, StylioStudio, MoaCut, ShelfReady, LikeFlow, and more. Since June 2025 there have been close to 40 of them. On the web there are Pebblely, Claid.ai, Flair.ai, Creatify, and Topview. Platforms are building it too: Shopify Magic, Amazon seller-dashboard AI images, and Canva and Adobe Express background removal are free or bundled into the platform.

Compared with Photoroom and Pixelcut, OnStage's only difference is writing "video ad" into its name and putting apparel features up front. Against Kiva and Pixury there's almost no difference. The product isn't why it's getting traction; buying user acquisition is.

### If it were you

**Verdict** : I wouldn't copy this. The template is already saturated. OnStage has a user-acquisition factory behind it and still only reached roughly #160 in the US category Top Grossing. An indie developer copying it wouldn't have its paid-acquisition experience or its spend, and the product has nothing that beats Photoroom or Pixelcut.

**Who it fits** : small teams that already run TikTok / Meta campaigns and have experience with subscription apps, looking for a category with clear demand to practice their playbook on; or people already inside a seller community who can reach lots of small merchants directly.

**Who it doesn't fit** : indie developers with no paid-acquisition budget who want to grow through store search and organic spread. The keywords in this space were taken long ago by dozens of rivals, and stuffing "AI Product Photo" into your name won't get you seen.

**How to do it** : don't build an "all-in-one product photo" tool, build the small piece it does poorly. The reviews show two groups that generic tools don't serve well: Spanish-speaking small restaurants (who need dish photos, delivery-platform headers, and menus), and secondhand clothing sellers on Depop and Vinted (who want to process a whole batch at once and export at platform sizes). Pick one group and build something they open and immediately know is for them, in their language, with a workflow that goes from "take a pile of photos" straight to "listed." You can borrow its weekly-subscription-plus-credit-pack pricing, but give generous credits in the trial so a first session doesn't hit a paywall. The one-star "charged but no credits" review is the cautionary example.

**How to acquire users** : go where these people already are. Secondhand clothing sellers already post "pile of clothes before and after listing" videos on TikTok and Instagram, which is ready-made before/after creative. For small Spanish-speaking merchants, start with Facebook groups and local business communities. If you're running paid campaigns, the low bar in small-country grossing charts works in your favor: test which creative pays back in a few small markets first, then scale the budget.

**When to move** : there's no clear window. Generic product photo has long been closed. The vertical audience is still open, but whoever first becomes the tool every seller on a given platform uses holds that spot, so earlier is better.

**Signs you've misread this** : ① Three months from now, if OnStage reaches the top 50 of the US category Top Grossing, or daily new ratings climb to the hundreds, then "video ads" is a selling point that can take users from the leaders, and this template deserves another look. ② If someone builds a product-photo app serving only one type of seller (restaurants, secondhand clothing, jewelry) and holds a spot on the US category chart, vertical focus works. ③ The reverse: if Photoroom or Pixelcut makes one-tap video ads a free feature, this batch of template apps, OnStage included, will be squeezed out quickly.

Competitors

| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Photoroom | iOS | 2019-03 | US ~231k ratings, G&D Top Grossing around #20 | Category leader, focused on background removal; OnStage puts video ads, invisible mannequins, and virtual models up front, aimed only at sellers |
| Pixelcut | iOS | 2020-11 | US ~222k ratings, US G&D Top Grossing #11-06 6 | Nearly the same features, plus brand and scale; OnStage only markets itself as "Product Video & Ad" in its name |

| Shopify Magic / Amazon seller AI images / Canva, Adobe Express | Big-company features | 2023–2025 | Built into the platform, reaching a huge number of sellers | Big-company features are free but scattered across platforms; OnStage gathers many product-photo features into one app, sold by the week |

Where users come from

- **Verified** **TikTok paid ads** : a UK store review for 2026-09-25 says "Saw the ad for it on TikTok" (this review itself may be a seeded one)

- Inferred **Meta (Facebook/IG) short video** : the Facebook page OnStage AI (id 61593791015582) posted a product Reel on 10-29, with 1.7K views. Logged-out Ad Library checks showed no active ads, so the result is unreliable; not tracked in our own ad library.

- **Confirmed** **Paid acquisition infrastructure + parent company resources** : Android package name com.wowoo.aiproduct.photography; the website download uses an Adjust go.link, the same format as the apps of Wowoo (a Turkish AI app studio claiming 50M users and $20M in revenue)

- Inferred **In-app rating prompts / seeded positive reviews** : of 219 US ratings only 13 have text reviews, and of 530 Android ratings only 23 do; the Spanish review titles are business or product names (like a rating dialog popping up during the generation flow); on day 3 after launch a long UK five-star review praising each feature appeared

- Inferred **Store search keywords** : the name stuffs in AI / Product / Video / Ad; no keyword ranking data available

## OnStage: AI Product Video & Ad (ios_6796652591) research report

> Research date 2026-11-06. Data sources: our own appstore / googleplay / metaads / tiktokads / googleads databases (agent-im server), Apple lookup and review RSS, App Store web pages, the onstageapp.ai, teraone.app, and wowooapps.com websites, TikHub (TikTok search), x-radar. Storefronts checked: all 115 appstore storefronts were scanned first (the app charted in 39 storefronts' category charts), then us / gb / ca / au were examined in detail.

### Bottom line

OnStage is a new release from the Turkish app-factory playbook: a freshly registered shell company in İzmir (Tera One) is the publisher of record, while the tech and paid acquisition most likely come from Turkish AI app studio Wowoo (the Android package name is `com.wowoo.aiproduct.photography`). It drives installs through paid TikTok and other acquisition, monetizes with a $7.99/week subscription plus credit packs, and pushes in-app rating prompts that have pushed the star rating to 4.7–4.8. The product itself is a catch-all of product photo and video ad tools, in an already crowded niche with no obvious edge. **It hasn't actually broken out yet** : on the US Graphics & Design Top Grossing chart it sits at only #155–#180, while leader Pixelcut is at #6. The high ranks in the recall card (SK #3, SG/HU #12, BY #22) come from tiny-market charts where the bar is very low, so they don't signal scale.

### 1. Basics

- Developer: Tera One Yazılım Hizmetleri A.Ş., address in Urla, İzmir, Turkey; website teraone.app. The site calls itself "An app studio from İzmir" and lists only one live product. The other two (Content Studio, Catalog AI) are marked "In development / Coming soon" (source: teraone.app).

- Live on iOS since 2026-09-22, latest update 11-05 to 1.0.9. From 10-28 onward the library shows 1.0.6→1.0.9, roughly one version a week (appstore.app_day).

- Android version: "OnStage AI Product Video Maker", package name **com.wowoo.aiproduct.photography** , developer listed as Tera One A.Ş., live since 2026-08-28, earlier than iOS. Last version is 9-28, dated 1.0.4 (googleplay.app_profile).

- The web version onstageapp.ai sells subscriptions (Premium / Business / Ultra, tiered by monthly credits: 600 / 1200 / 1800 credits). The homepage says "Trusted by over 200,000 creators." That figure is unverified and likely marketing copy.

- iOS pricing (App Store page): OnStage Plus $7.99 per week, or $49.99 / $69.99 per year; Business $34.99 per month; credit packs of 1000 for $4.99, 3000 for $11.99, 10000 for $29.99. Trial is 3 days (mentioned in reviews). Android in-app purchases range from $4.99–$730 (googleplay).

- Features: background removal and replacement, AI scenes, product staging, enhancement, virtual models, ghost mannequin, upscaling, color changes, style transfer, plus Ad Studio, which turns product photos into 15 / 30 / 60-second video ads. Export up to 4K.

### 2. Growth data

| Metric | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| iOS US store rating count | 10-28 is 143,11-06, is 211; Apple lookup 11-06 returns 219, average 4.75 | appstore.app_day / iTunes lookup |
| iOS US store new ratings in the last 7 days | 63 | appstore.app_profile |
| iOS ratings, all US store | About 363, +7 in the last 92 days (recall card) | Data card |
| US category chart | Graphics & Design Top Grossing #155–#180 (11-06 at #161); App Store page shows Top Free #170 | appstore.app_day, App Store page |
| Best rank in other stores | SK Top Grossing #3 (10-30, 0 rating in that store), SG #12, HU #12, BY #22, AU #43, FR #49, GB #76, CA #113 | appstore.app_day |
| Stores charted | 10-30 peaked at 33 stores, 11-06 fell to 17 stores | appstore.app_day |
| Android installs | 10-29 is 14,333,11-06, is 15,217 (+884 over 7 days); 530 ratings, only 23 text reviews | googleplay.app_day |

How to read this:

- Around 10-30 the number of charting stores and the best rank spiked together (33 stores, #3 in SK), then fell back. This looks like a concentrated campaign or promotion pulse, not organic growth.

- US Graphics & Design Top Grossing #150–#180 roughly corresponds to tens to a couple hundred dollars a day in revenue (inferred, not verified). The revenue is real, but the scale is small.

- On Android, the app has about 15k installs after more than 2 months, adding only dozens to a hundred-plus a day. The Android version also hasn't been updated in over a month, so the team's focus is on iOS.

### 3. Competitors

The niche is very crowded, with stores, web tools and big platforms all in it.

- **Photoroom** (iOS / Android / web, launched 2019): about 231k US ratings, best G&D Top Grossing rank #20, the category leader. It started with background removal and also does AI backgrounds and product images.

- **Pixelcut** (iOS / Android / web, launched 2020): about 222k US ratings, US G&D Top Grossing #11-066; also does product images and AI video.

- **Arvin: AI Product Photo Maker** (IdeaLabs, launched 2023): about 59k US ratings, G&D Top Grossing #20, positioning nearly identical to OnStage.

- **Kiva: AI Product Video & Ads** (Artemis NovoCore, launched 2026-06-30): 564 ratings in the US, chart rank around #170, rating count flat over the last 7 days. It's the most direct same-generation rival, and its naming follows the same formula.

- **AI Product Video & Ad - Pixury** (Rhinox Digital HK, launched 2025-09): 396 US ratings, chart rank around #135.

- **A batch of similar apps launched together** : between 2026 and November 9, more than a dozen new US "product photo / product video" apps appeared, including Cheeppy, BrandStills, Snappy, Vidmerce AI, StylioStudio, MoaCut, bitPhoto, ShelfReady, Quanton and LikeFlow. Close to 40 since 2025-06 (appstore.app / app_name).

- **Web tools** : Pebblely, Claid.ai, Flair.ai, Creatify, Topview and others (scale unverified).

- **Big-platform features** : Shopify Magic, AI image generation in Amazon's seller backend, background removal and AI generation in Canva / Adobe Express, and AI product images in Picsart. These are free or bundled into the platforms.

### 4. Growth tactics (evidence)

1. **TikTok paid ads (confirmed)** : a review on the UK store 9-25 says "Saw the ad for it on TikTok…" (iTunes RSS gb). That review itself is suspicious, though; see point 5.

2. **Meta ads (partial evidence)** : Facebook has a Page called "OnStage AI" (page id 61593791015582). 10-29 posted a 17-second Reel, "Try this best AI Product Photo and Video Generator App," which has 1.7K views. Logged-out, the Ad Library shows "no active ads right now," but that page often displays incompletely when not logged in, so this is unverified. Our metaads, tiktokads and googleads databases don't track it, and not finding it there doesn't mean it isn't running ads.

3. **Adjust attribution links** : the website download button uses `onstage.go.link/?adj_t=…`, an Adjust go.link deep link in the same format as the download links for Wowoo's ChatPrime, FaceForm and AI Baby Generator (wowooapps.com). This is standard setup for paid acquisition.

4. **Behind-the-scenes resources** : the Android package name starts with `com.wowoo.`. Wowoo (Wowoo Dijital Hizmetler Ltd. Şti. / WOWOO LTD) is a Turkish AI app studio. Its website claims 50M users, $20M in revenue and over 75 people, and its products include ChatPrime, Unblur AI and AI Baby Generator. Our inference: Tera One is a new entity Wowoo set up for this single product, the common "one product, one company" approach of Turkish app factories. The relationship between the two companies is not publicly disclosed and is unverified.

5. **In-app rating prompts, possibly with seeded good reviews** :
    - Of the 219 US ratings, only 13 are text reviews; of the 530 Android ratings, only 23 are text reviews, with 87% five stars.
    - Most US text reviews are one or two words of Spanish, and the titles are store or product names, such as "Carbón y leña / La mejor comida criolla," "Mascarilla intensiva para el cabello / Argan, Macadamia y Tahití," "Glp1 JJ." UK reviews include "Dippies chippy 1" and "Sizzling chicken." This looks like the rating prompt appearing right after users typed a product name, with the name ending up in the review box. Among real users, there seem to be many small restaurants, delivery shops and Spanish-speaking small merchants in the US.
    - The longest five-star UK review (9-25, day 3 after launch) praises the background, virtual models, ghost mannequin and Pro subscription one by one. It reads like marketing copy and is a suspected seeded review (unverified).

6. **No organic buzz found** : searching "onstage app" on TikTok returns only a church scheduling app with the same name, OnStage (getonstage.app). x-radar finds nothing in the last 60 days, and there's no related discussion on Reddit or Product Hunt. The name clashes with other products, which hurts both SEO and word of mouth.

### 5. Why it's gaining traction (as far as we can see)

- Its traction comes from the playbook, not a product breakthrough: the mature Turkish app-factory process, including a new publisher, Adjust attribution, paid TikTok / Meta short-video creatives, a 3-day trial converting to $7.99 per week, and frequent rating prompts.

- The demand in the niche is real: small e-commerce sellers, secondhand clothing sellers (Depop / eBay) and small restaurants all need product images, and AI video ads are a selling point added in the last 2025–26 years. Putting both "Product Video" and "Ad" in the name captures store search traffic (inferred).

- It's on category Top Grossing charts in dozens of countries because the Graphics & Design chart in small markets has a very low bar, so a few subscriptions are enough to reach the top 50. That shows sporadic payments everywhere, not scale.

### 6. Differentiation

- Compared with Photoroom / Pixelcut: the features are essentially the same (background removal, AI backgrounds, models, video). OnStage's only difference is putting "video ads" in its name and selling points, with sellers as the explicit audience, plus apparel-seller features like ghost mannequins and virtual models, all in one app.

- Compared with Kiva, Pixury and Arvin: there's almost no difference. They all use the same template (AI product images + video ads + weekly subscription).

- **Bottom line: differentiation is weak and isn't why it's gaining traction.** What lets it gain traction is distribution and monetization, meaning the Wowoo-style acquisition experience and attribution infrastructure.

### 7. Visibility and copycats

- Revenue isn't public (neither TrustMRR nor the founders have posted it), no media outlet or large X account has covered it, and there's no organic discussion on social platforms. It's in the "few people know about it yet" stage.

- But the niche is already crowded: between 2026 and November 9, new "AI Product Photo / Video" apps launched every week. Most are probably not copying OnStage but batch-replicating the same hot template, so they aren't counted as its followers.

### 8. What to borrow

- The standard Turkish factory playbook: one new entity per product; names stuffed with keywords (Product + Video + Ad); Adjust deep links for attribution; a two-track weekly subscription plus credit-pack monetization, where credit packs also capture users who decline the subscription; and rating prompts shown right after users get a satisfying result.

- Use the low bar of small-market category charts to run multi-country tests and see which markets pay back.

- Pitch a vertical aimed at non-designer sellers (secondhand clothing, small restaurants, Spanish-speaking small merchants) with "one photo to an ad video," which converts better than generic AI photo editing.

### 9. What's uncertain

- The relationship with Wowoo (subsidiary, partnership, or outsourcing) is unverified. The only evidence is the package name and the shared Adjust link pattern.

- Ad spend and channel mix: the Meta and TikTok ad libraries both returned no live ad count; the TikTok evidence is a single comment, and that comment is itself questionable.

- Actual revenue: only a rough order of magnitude can be inferred from its US Top Grossing rank of #150–180 in Lifestyle.

- Whether 10-30's surge came from paid ads, a free promo, or something else can't be told apart.
