# An AI video app with only 5 ratings, charting in the Top Grossing lists of 41 countries: understand the playbook, but don't copy it

**What it is** An iOS app where you upload a photo, pick an AI effect template, and generate a few-second animated video. Its features match dozens of identical clones.

**Why it's charting** It isn't really a hit. The same operator rotates several individual developer accounts to publish the same app, likely buying small-budget installs in many cheap countries. A few in-app purchases a day per country is enough to reach the low-bar category Top Grossing charts in small markets.

**C** **How you could approach it** Not recommended to copy. If you do it, skip the generic "make photos move" and pick specific scenarios like memorials, pets, or weddings, build your own templates, and get organic reach from TikTok finished videos instead of relying on paid installs.

Grade C: You can learn the small-market chart and multi-account playbook from this, but the product has no differentiation, the same app is already flooding the market, big players give away better versions for free, a single account only brings in a few thousand dollars, and you'd be betting on accounts and app review. Not worth following. Few people know about it yet

LoopCraft is an iOS app where you "upload a photo, pick an effect, and generate a few-second animated video." It was listed in late September, has only 5 ratings worldwide, yet appears in the Photo & Video Top Grossing charts of 41 countries. It isn't really a hit. These small-country category charts have a very low bar; a few in-app purchases a day is enough to get on. Behind it is a set of identical apps published by the same operator through several individual developer accounts, and this is the third one. The playbook is worth understanding, but not recommended to copy.

### #20 in Bahrain, zero ratings

On 2026 Nov 6, LoopCraft: AI Video Generator ranked #20 on the Photo & Video category Top Grossing chart in the Bahrain store, with no ratings at all. The same day it was also charted in Senegal at #31, Armenia at #48, and Egypt at #57, across 41 stores in total on the category Top Grossing chart. Counting the Top Free charts too, it charted in 68 stores (App Store regional charts, 11-06).

Now look at everything it has: the developer is Zoe Robinson, with only this one app under the name. Launched in Sep 23, its version is still 1.0.0 today. The package is 11.9MB and English-only. Across all storefronts it has 5 ratings in total, adding only 3 over the last 10 days. No website, no social accounts, and not a single written review in the store (Apple store page, 11-06).

How does an app nobody uses end up on Top Grossing charts in dozens of countries?

### What it is

The store page is blunt: "No complicated timelines, no manual keyframes, zero learning curve." You upload a photo, pick an AI effect template, and it gives you a few-second animated video. No prompts, and no editing.

Free to download, with 8 in-app purchase tiers: $2.99, $4.99, $5.99, $9.99, $19.99, $39.99, $69.99, $99.99 (US store page). The price ladder looks like a weekly subscription, an annual subscription, and credit packs, but which tier is which can't be confirmed from outside.

The privacy policy is hosted on a random subdomain (`vpdqnfwljdrma.loop-craft.net/api/mthffffpxqosp.html`), and support is a personal hotmail address. The policy also lists Android-only permissions like "read and write external storage" and "GAID," suggesting it was copied straight from an Android template. The package is tiny and never updated, so the backend is most likely a wrapper calling a third-party image-to-video API (inferred).

### It isn't really a hit: how low the bar is for small-country category charts

Being on charts in dozens of countries sounds impressive, but break it down:

| Market | Best rank (Photo & Video category, 10-28 to 11-06) |
|---|---|
| Bahrain, Jordan, Mauritius, Costa Rica | Top Grossing #20–30 |
| Venezuela, Senegal, New Zealand, Hungary, Vietnam | Top Grossing #31–40 |
| Japan, South Korea, India, Italy, France | Top Grossing #69–92 |
| Germany, UK | #155, #159 |
| US | Never charted |

In markets like Bahrain or Mauritius, a niche category's Top Grossing chart can put you in the top 30 with only a few paying users a day. So "charting in 68 countries" shows it spread a little into every country, not that anyone actually wants it.

Third-party estimates line up roughly: AppGazers estimates it has 10-02 to 11-01 downloads, under 5,000, and under $5,000 in revenue; another, Searvia, estimates $1–50k per month. The two differ by an order of magnitude, and both are model-based. Adding up a few purchases a day across dozens of small storefronts, monthly revenue is probably a few thousand to $10–20K (inference).

### The interesting part: it's the third in a set of accounts

Ranking new apps launched after June this year that chart in the most countries in Photo & Video Top Grossing, LoopCraft is #3, with Veomix at #2. Checking the store pages turns up three apps from the same operator:

| App | Developer (all individual names, each with only these 1 apps) | Launched | 11-06 countries on Top Grossing | AppGazers' estimated October revenue |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FlixVerse – AI Video Creator | Kirdar Ogul | 2026-06-05 | 10 | $8.3K–67.6K |
| Veomix | Danielle Allie Tettleton | 2026-08-24 | 56, best #17 | $20.8K–169.3K |
| LoopCraft | Zoe Robinson | 2026-09-23 | 41, best #20 | < $5K |

Why we say it's one operator:

- **8 tiers have identical IAP prices** , from $2.99 to $99.99, and even the order on the store page is nearly the same. Three strangers landing on the exact same 8-tier pricing is unlikely.

- **The privacy policy setup is the same** : brand name with a hyphen on a .net domain, a random 16-character subdomain, and a path of "/api/random-string.html." loop-craft.net and flix-verse.net were both registered at GoDaddy and resolve to the same IPs (domain registration and DNS, checked 11-06).

- **The policy text is rewritten each time** : the two texts are only 3.7% similar, and one support email uses iCloud while the other uses hotmail. This looks like an attempt to dodge Apple's 4.3 "duplicate app" review rule (inferred).

- **Apple's "You might also like" links LoopCraft directly to Veomix** , and the buyers on both sides overlap.

- **The rhythm is fixed** : register the domain first, launch 3 to 7 weeks later, and space the three accounts 1 to 2.5 months apart.

The benefit is clear: each account earns a little, and stacking several adds up; if one gets removed or rejected, you lose just one; and each new launch gets another round of Apple's new-app exposure. As for the accounts, public records show a real US person named Danielle Allie Tettleton, so these individual developer accounts may have been bought or rented (inferred, unverified).

### Where users come from

Almost certainly not organic traffic. Searching "loopcraft" and "veomix" on TikTok returns crochet tutorial videos and a protein shaker with the same name; X has not a single post mentioning it in 60 days; the web only has a few auto-generated app data pages. Neither the Meta nor TikTok ad libraries show ads when searched by app name or domain, but absence there doesn't mean no ads were run.

The most likely explanation left is paid acquisition: using Apple Search Ads or other ad networks in a large batch of low-cost countries, with a small budget in each. Installs come in and hit the paywall directly, and a few paying users a day is enough to break even while pushing the app onto local category Top Grossing charts (inferred). The name is stuffed with search terms like "AI Video Generator" to catch store search traffic.

The name also collides with a crochet tutorial app, "LoopCraft: Crochet & Knitting," but people who knit won't download an image-to-video app, so the overlap gains very little.

### Who it's competing with

| Product | Scale (US App Store ratings, 11-06) | Compared with alternatives |
|---|---|---|
| Kling AI | 33k, 7 days +1,022, category #2 | In-house model, can write prompts and multi-shot |
| PixVerse Lite | 2,706,7 days +269 | In-house model, strong social spread |
| Revive(RefaceAI) | 25k | Veteran "make photos move" template app |
| Remini | 359k | Mainly photo editing, with photo animation on the side |
| MyHeritage Deep Nostalgia | 66k | Old photos come alive, tied to family-tree users |
| DanceHit: AI Dance Generator | On charts 4,439,7 days, +677,93 stores | Same-period template apps, but this one actually got downloads |
| ViviMotion, Vidorae, SoftLens, Hey AI, etc. | Single digits to 242 | Same wave of personal-name shells, almost no difference |
| Gemini (Veo), Sora, Meta Vibes | big tech | Free or included with membership, and better results |

Compared with these products, there is no functional difference at all. The only difference is how it's operated.

### If it were you

**One-line verdict** : Don't copy this. The playbook can make one account a few thousand dollars a month, but anyone can build the features, there's already a crowd of clones, big players are giving better versions away free, and all you can compete on is acquisition cost and how long the account survives.

**Who it's for** : Teams already making going-global tool apps, with a paid-acquisition team and ready accounts, able to get batches through review cheaply. For them, this is just another category template, and adding a set of accounts is the whole job.

**Who it's not for** : Indie devs and small teams wanting to build a real product. You don't have cheap account sources or proven ad creative. If the first account gets rejected or pulled by 4.3, the work is wasted; and even if it works, a single account only brings in a few thousand dollars a month.

**If you must do it** : Don't build another generic "photo comes alive" template; that space is packed. Pick a specific audience and scenario, such as memorial videos from old photos of deceased relatives, birthday videos from pet photos, or short invitation films for weddings, and build your own templates and copy that people in that niche will talk about. That at least gives some organic traffic instead of relying entirely on buying it.

**How to get users** : The realistic route for apps like this is Apple Search Ads with small country-by-country budgets. Test for a week in 3 to 5 cheap countries and only scale if the numbers work. For niche scenarios, you could post finished "this old photo came alive" videos on TikTok, which LoopCraft has none of.

**Is there a window?** : No real window. Image-to-video templates were already a category everyone was building in 2026. If Apple tightens review on repetitive apps like this, or big players put the same feature into the system Photos app, the remaining room gets even smaller.

**What would show we're wrong** : ① The Veomix and LoopCraft set keeps shipping new accounts, and each new one covers more countries and has higher estimated revenue than the last, meaning the playbook's margins are thicker than they look; ② a photo-animation app in a specific niche (memorials, pets, weddings) climbs to over a thousand ratings in the US store within a month, meaning niche audiences work; ③ conversely, if these three accounts keep disappearing from stores one after another, Apple has started cleaning up and this path is fully closed.

Where users come from

- Inferred **Paid acquisition (inferred: Apple Search Ads or an ad network, with small budgets spread across many low-cost countries)** : within one week it appeared on the charts in 60–70 stores at nearly 0 ratings, with estimated downloads under 5K yet paying revenue; sister apps FlixVerse and Veomix show the same distribution

- Inferred **Meta / TikTok ads** : searches of the metaads and tiktokads libraries by the three apps' App IDs, names, and landing domains returned nothing (library coverage is limited)

- **Verified** **Store search / ASO and Apple's "You might also like" cross-links** : the name stacks "AI Video Generator"; Apple's recommendation placement links LoopCraft directly to Veomix and other look-alike reskins

- Inferred **Borrowing the "LoopCraft" name** : shares a name with the crochet app LoopCraft: Crochet & Knitting (Scala technology) and the website loopcraft.ai, but the user base doesn't match, and the effect is uncertain

- **Verified** **Organic content / media** : TikHub, x-radar, and web search returned no related content

## How LoopCraft: AI Video Generator (iOS id 6808110105) got onto the charts

> In one line: it didn't really take off, and it isn't a standalone product. It's the third app in a set of "AI image-to-video" white-label reskins from the same operator. The operator uses a personal-name developer account and relaunches under a new brand every month or two. It showed up on Photo & Video Top Grossing charts in 40 countries because those small-country category charts have very low thresholds, and a few in-app purchases a day is enough to chart. It was not because it had many users.

Data scope: appstore library (full scan of 2026-10-28 to 11-06,115 stores); Apple lookup / store pages (2026-11-06 fetched); third-party estimates (AppGazers, Searvia, model-based estimates, not official).

---

### 1. What it is

- In one line: upload a photo, pick an effect template, and generate a few-second animated video. No timeline, no prompt editing, just "photo comes alive."

- Developer "Zoe Robinson" (id 6808110107) has only these 1 apps under the name; 2026-09-23 listed, version still 1.0.0 as of today, never updated; package 11.9MB, English only, iOS 15.6+, rated 17+. Bundle id is `com.loopcraft.motion.video.studio`.

- Pricing: free to download, with 8 unnamed in-app purchases: $2.99 / 4.99 / 5.99 / 9.99 / 19.99 / 39.99 / 69.99 / 99.99 (US store page). From the price tiers it looks like a mix of weekly and annual subscriptions plus credit packs, but the exact setup can't be verified.

- Privacy policy hosted at `vpdqnfwljdrma.loop-craft.net/api/mthffffpxqosp.html` (random subdomain and random filename), support email is the personal hotmail address `irishvancookies@hotmail.com`. The policy text is a generic "AI effects / face swap / avatar" template and still lists Android-only permissions like "read/write external storage" and "GAID," suggesting it was copied straight from an Android template.

- No website, social accounts, or reviews; global ratings total 5 (appstore library 11-06, summed across stores).

### 2. Data: how far it "ran"

| Date | Stores where it charted | Stores where it reached a category Top Grossing chart | Best category Top Grossing rank | Global ratings (summed across stores) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10-28 | 62 | 36 | 46 | 2 |
| 10-31 | 54 | 39 | 33 | 4 |
| 11-03 | 65 | 39 | 54 | 4 |
| 11-06 | 68 | 41 | 20 | 5 |

(appstore database, app_day)

- Best rank it held in 10 days (chart_rank, all on the Photo & Video category charts):
    - Category Top Grossing: Bahrain #20, Jordan #28, Mauritius #30, Costa Rica #30, Venezuela #31, Senegal #31, New Zealand #36, Hungary #38, Armenia #38, Vietnam #40;
    - Big markets: Japan #70, South Korea #76, Italy #81, India #69, France #92, Germany #155, UK #159; the US never charted.
    - Best category Top Free rank was #11 in the British Virgin Islands, and it hit #106 on that store's overall Top Free for a day; elsewhere it mostly sat around #40–#200.

- Ratings barely moved: in 10 days only about 3 ratings were added globally. Downloads were tiny; AppGazers estimates fewer than 10-02 to 11-01 5K.

- Revenue estimates vary widely: AppGazers estimates under $5K over the same period; the Searvia estimate cited in the recall card is $10K–50K/month. Both are model-based estimates. Our read: it can appear on the Top Grossing charts of dozens of small stores because those thresholds are low, and a few in-app purchases a day per store is enough. Summed across stores, monthly revenue is likely a few thousand to maybe ten-something thousand dollars. This is inference, not verified.

**Bottom line: this didn't "run," it was a wide net with a little in every store.** The recall scoring treated "charting in 68 countries" as a strong signal, but that comes from the low thresholds of small-country category charts, not from strong demand.

### 3. Key finding: it's the third account in a reskin matrix

In the appstore library, we ranked apps launched after 2026-06 by how many stores their Photo & Video category Top Grossing charts covered: #2 was **Veomix** (56 stores), #3 was LoopCraft (41 stores). Comparing the Apple store pages turned up three apps from the same operator:

| App | Developer (personal name, only 1 apps each under the name) | Launched | Privacy policy | In-app purchase price ladder (storefront order) | 11-06 category chart coverage | AppGazers' estimated October revenue |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FlixVerse – AI Video Creator(id6769668875) | Kirdar Ogul | 2026-06-05 | `hiqjojlmtoezgtro.flix-verse.net/api/snhtehnquagcrsi.html` | 4.99 / 9.99 / 19.99 / 2.99 / 39.99 / 69.99 / 99.99 / 5.99 | 10 stores, best #35 | $8.3K–67.6K |
| Veomix(id6795054361) | Danielle Allie Tettleton | 2026-08-24 | The store page only has a placeholder link from App Store Connect | 4.99 / 9.99 / 19.99 / 39.99 / 99.99 / 69.99 / 2.99 / 5.99 | 56 stores, best #17 | $20.8K–169.3K |
| **LoopCraft** (id6808110105) | Zoe Robinson | 2026-09-23 | `vpdqnfwljdrma.loop-craft.net/api/mthffffpxqosp.html` | 4.99 / 9.99 / 19.99 / 39.99 / 99.99 / 69.99 / 5.99 / 2.99 | 41 stores, best #20 | < $5K |

Why we think it's the same operator:

1. **Identical in-app purchases** : both have 8 SKUs at exactly the same prices (2.99–99.99), in nearly the same order. Two unrelated indie devs landing on the same 8-tier price ladder is unlikely.

2. **Privacy policies hosted the same way** : both follow "brand name with hyphens + .net domain, random 16-character subdomain, /api/random-string.html". Both domains are registered at GoDaddy and resolve to the same GoDaddy parking IPs (15.197.148.33 / 3.33.130.190), and both subdomains point to CloudFront (checked via RDAP / dig, 2026-11-06).

3. **Each policy text gets rewritten** : the two policy pages are only 3.7% similar, and the support emails differ (icloud vs. hotmail), which looks like an attempt to dodge Apple's 4.3 "duplicate app" review.

4. **Same account setup** : each account is an individual developer account (99 per year), hosts one app, English only, iOS 15.6+, 17+ / 18+ rating, and is almost never updated after release. Public personal records show a real US person, Danielle Allie Tettleton, under a similar name, so these accounts may be bought or rented individual accounts (inference, not verified).

5. **Apple's "You might also like" links LoopCraft directly to Veomix** , which suggests the buyers on both sides overlap.

6. **Fixed launch rhythm** : loop-craft.net was registered in 2026-08-05, its privacy policy went up in 08-26, and the app launched in 09-23; flix-verse.net was registered in 05-18 and its app launched in 06-05. About 3–7 weeks from domain registration to launch. Launches of the three accounts are roughly 2.5 months and 1 months apart.

Why this matters: any single account earns little, but stacked together they add up to wide coverage. If one account gets pulled, rejected, or sunk by bad reviews, you lose only that one. Each new account also gets a fresh "new app" cold-start boost. That's why an app rated 0 can still chart in dozens of stores: traffic and payments come from the same paid acquisition playbook, split across accounts.

### 4. Where users came from (growth tactics)

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Meta ads | No match in the metaads library by App id (three accounts), page name, or landing domain (the library started collecting at 11-01 and only tracks advertisers surfaced by keyword search) | No (no match doesn't mean no ads) |
| TikTok ads | No mapping in the tiktokads library (it only covers ads targeting Europe) | No |
| TikTok / X content, creators | TikHub searches for "loopcraft" and "veomix" only return crochet videos and a same-named protein shaker; x-radar: 60 days, 0 posts | Confirmed no organic content |
| Media / SEO | Only auto-generated data pages online, like Appfigures, Similarweb, FoxData, AppGazers | Confirmed none |
| Store search / ASO | Name stuffed with "AI Video Generator" keywords; Apple's "You might also like" and similar wrapper apps link to each other. Apple's search API was rate-limited (429), so keyword ranking wasn't measured | Partly confirmed |
| Name borrowing | "LoopCraft" shares its name with a crochet tutorial app, "LoopCraft: Crochet & Knitting" (Scala technology limited, id6752294439), and there's also a pay-per-use AI video site at loopcraft.ai. Crochet users don't match image-to-video, so borrowing the name probably brings little traffic | Weak |
| Paid acquisition (inferred) | Within a week it charted in 60–70 stores at an almost 0 rating, with an estimated downloads under 5K, yet it earns payments; FlixVerse and Veomix show the same pattern. Most likely small-budget spread across many low-cost countries via Apple Search Ads or other ad networks. None of our libraries cover this | Unconfirmed |

Where the money comes from: few or no free credits, paywall right at entry. Among the 8 price tiers are high ones at $69.99 / $99.99, likely annual subscriptions or large credit packs. As long as each store brings in a few paying users a day from cheaply acquired traffic in low-bid countries, the math works (inference)

### 5. Competitors

| Competitors | Where | Launched | Scale (appstore library, 11-06, US store) | Differences from LoopCraft |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kling AI | iOS / web | 2025-01 | US store 33k ratings, +7 in 1,022 days, Photo & Video category #2 | In-house model, supports prompts and multiple shots; LoopCraft is just a template wrapper |
| PixVerse (including PixVerse Lite) | iOS / web | Lite 2026-05 | Lite US store 2,706 ratings, +7 in 269 days | In-house model, strong social spread |
| Revive(RefaceAI) | iOS | 2022-06 | US store rating 25,210 | Established "animate your photo" template app with mature brand and content operations |
| Remini(Bending Spoons) | iOS | 2019 | US store 359k rating | Mainly a photo editor that also has photo animation effects, several orders of magnitude larger |
| MyHeritage Deep Nostalgia | iOS / web | 2021 | US store 66k rating | Old photos come alive, tied to family-tree users |
| DanceHit: AI Dance Generator | iOS | 2026-08-04 | US store rating 4,439, charted in 677,93 more stores over 7 days | A template wrapper from the same period, but it got downloads through real paid acquisition |
| Hey AI: AI Video Generator | iOS | 2026-08-19 | At most 242 rating, charting in 62 stores | Similar small accounts |
| ViviMotion, Vidorae, SoftLens, Openart AI Video Art Generator, etc. | iOS | 2026-08 to 09 | single-digit ratings | Same wave of individual-name wrappers, almost indistinguishable from LoopCraft |
| Google Veo (Gemini), OpenAI Sora, Meta Vibes | Big-company features | 2025–2026 | Big-company tier | Free or included with membership, stronger quality and capabilities |
| loopcraft.ai | Web | Not verified | Unknown | A pay-per-use AI video site with the same name, supporting prompts and first/last frames |

### 6. Differentiation

No product differentiation. Features, copy, templates are nearly identical to dozens of similar wrappers, and the underlying app most likely calls a third-party image-to-video API (the package is only 11.9MB and hasn't been updated since launch). What sets it apart is only its **operating method** : a matrix of individual-name accounts, reused privacy-page infrastructure, a uniform pricing ladder, and dozens of low-barrier countries per account. That's the whole reason it "appears on charts", and the product itself has nothing to do with it.

### 7. How many people can see it

Almost nobody knows about it yet. No media, X, Reddit, or TikTok discussion, and revenue isn't public; only auto-generated pages from estimation sites like AppGazers, Searvia, and Appfigures. This playbook is common in the going-global tools app scene, and the category is already crowded.

### 8. What others can learn

- **Small-country category charts are a cheap way to "chart"** : in stores like Bahrain, Jordan, and Mauritius, a few in-app purchases can put a Photo & Video app in the top 30 of its category. Treating that as a signal of real traction would be a mistake; when scoring, weight by each store's threshold.

- **Fixed setup for the matrix playbook** : individual-name accounts, a brand domain with random-subdomain policy hosting, rewritten policy text every time, a uniform IAP ladder, and a new account every 1–2 months. This is the standard way to hedge against review and takedown risk.

- The cheapest way to identify a matrix operator is to **compare the store page's IAP price ladder and the shape of the privacy policy URL** .

### 9. Still unclear

- No direct evidence on paid channels (ASA, Google, Meta, other ad networks) or budgets; the Meta and TikTok libraries don't cover them.

- Which of the 8 IAPs are subscriptions versus credit packs; the exact design of trials and paywalls (no install-and-test was done).

- Revenue: AppGazers (under $5K) and Searvia ($10K–$50K) differ by an order of magnitude.

- Whether the matrix has more accounts: you could keep scanning for "brand name .net + random subdomain + /api/*.html" and this 8-tier price ladder; this round confirmed only 3.

- Which video model API the underlying app uses.
