> It isn't really popular yet. Contractors are close to the money and willing to pay. Free use covers only 3 receipts and 1 AI quotes, so a few downloads can still turn into subscriptions. Add Facebook video ads and store keywords, and it squeezed into #139 on the US Business Top Grossing chart, which has a very low bar.

Invocket: Invoice & Estimate · Orvanta Digital Limited

# 58 ratings, sitting at #139 on the US Business Top Grossing chart: a contractor invoicing app's weekly payments of $8.99

**What it is** An iPhone quoting and invoicing app for plumbers, electricians and renovation contractors: describe the job, AI produces a line-item estimate, then converts it into a PDF invoice. Works offline, no sign-up required, subscription is $8.99 per week or $98.99 per year.

**Why it's up** It hasn't really taken off yet. Contractor invoicing sits close to money, so people will pay; the free tier only allows 3 documents and 1 AI estimates, so even low downloads convert into subscriptions. Add Facebook video ads and store keywords, and it squeezed into the low-barrier US Business Top Grossing chart at #139.

**C** **How you could follow** Don't copy it straight into the US English market. Either switch countries and languages (UK, Australia, Germany, Poland renovation and repair trades), or pick just one trade. Copy the paywall design, and acquire users through Meta vertical ads plus store keywords, provided you can run ads and know your cost per paying user.

Grade C: the payment demand is real and the playbook is replicable, but invoicing is a red ocean where the top 20 are decade-old incumbents and heavy advertisers, and more than a dozen AI quoting apps already exist. Invocket itself is small and hasn't proven it can break even. What's worth learning is the playbook, not the product itself. Few people know about it yet

Invocket is an iPhone quoting and invoicing tool launched in Sep 30, for people who get paid per job, like plumbers and renovation contractors. Five weeks after launch it has only 58 ratings, yet it has held between #130 and #190 on the US Business Top Grossing chart. It has no unique features; it made the chart by following an old playbook: pick a category that pays, install a hard paywall, then spend on Facebook ads. This piece covers who built it, where the money comes from, who it competes with, and whether you should build something similar.

### An ad with 40k views

On the evening of Oct 28, a Facebook page called "Invoice & Estimate Maker" posted a vertical video titled "Estimates & Invoices From Your Phone", with the caption: "From the first estimate to the final invoice. Create professional paperwork for every job with Invocket." By Nov 6, the video had 40k views and 74 interactions. But the page has only 174 followers, the same caption was reposted unchanged at least four times, and one version misspelled the app name as "Invoke It". Few followers, high views, one caption across several creatives: this is what paid ads look like, not organic reach (Facebook page, 11-06).

That same week, Invocket's US Business Top Grossing ranks were: 10-28 #160,10-31 #145,11-03 #186,11-06 #139. It has charted only in this one category, never on the overall chart, and never outside the US (App Store charts, 11-06).

### What it is

Open it, enter your company details, pick a client, add the job and prices, and it exports a PDF estimate or invoice with your logo and signature. When a client approves an estimate, you can convert it to an invoice in one tap; when you get paid, tap to stamp "PAID" on the PDF. The headline feature is called "Estimate with AI": describe the job in plain language, answer a few questions about scope, materials and site conditions, and it generates a line-item estimate with labor and materials listed separately, quantities and unit prices editable.

It stresses three things: it works offline, so you can invoice on a job site with bad signal; no sign-up, no account or password; and it doesn't process payments, it only records how the client paid. The store subtitle isn't a feature description but "Easy Bill & Receipt Generator", stuffing in the search terms bill, receipt and generator. The interface comes in English and Spanish, aimed at the many Spanish-speaking contractors in the US.

Pricing works like this: the free tier allows 3 documents, 3 PDF exports, 3 saved clients and 1 AI estimates; beyond that you need a subscription, with a free trial, then $8.99 per week or $98.99 per year (official llms.txt, App Store in-app purchase list, 11-06). Paid weekly works out to about $36 a month, more than three times the cost of Joist, an established app built for contractors (from about $10 a month). The in-app purchase list shows "Invoices Pro 1 Week $8.99" twice, possibly one with a trial and one without, or an A/B test of the paywall (inference).

### Who's behind it

The developer is Orvanta Digital Limited, a Cyprus company (registration no. 496479). The same developer account also publishes the phone cleaner Clean Ninja, the authenticator Trusty and the AI notes app Limemo, and the website says 7 apps are in the works. The same brand also runs a web product at invocket.com, which requires Google sign-in, defaults to Ukrainian, with Czech, Polish and German also available. So this is likely a Ukrainian team running overseas business through a Cyprus company (inference). The iPhone version rebuilds the brand specifically for US contractors.

This is a small app factory: one app after another launched on the same paywall and ad template, with budget added to whichever app pays back.

### How 58 ratings got onto the Top Grossing chart

| Date | US rating count | Business Top Grossing |
|---|---|---|
| 10-28 | 32 | #160 |
| 10-31 | 40 | #145 |
| 11-03 | 50 | #186 |
| 11-06 | 56 (store page 58, average rating 4.8) | #139 |

(App Store,11-06)

Ratings grow by only 1 to 8 per day, and third-party estimates put cumulative installs at "1k+" (AppInsider). It reached the chart for two reasons.

First, the bar on this chart is low. 11-06 sits next to 125 through 150, niche paid tools like QuoteIQ (3,451 ratings) and Contractor+ (1,869), with CompanyCam at #100 and Jobber at #25. Going by that position, #139 probably makes a few hundred dollars a day (my estimate, not verified).

Second, invoicing sits close to money. Contractors issue estimates and invoices to get paid, so they don't hesitate long over $8.99. The free allowance is also tiny, and the 4st document triggers the paywall, so even modest downloads can turn into a fair number of subscriptions.

### Where users come from

- **Facebook / Instagram ads: largely confirmed.** The evidence is the video and the repeated captions above. The store page privacy label reads "Data Used to Track You: Identifiers, Usage Data". An offline, sign-up-free invoicing tool labeled this way most likely integrates an ad attribution SDK (inference). How much was spent and whether it paid back is not visible from outside.

- **App Store search: confirmed.** The subtitle is stuffed with keywords, it's localized in English and Spanish, and it shows up in the "You Might Also Like" sections of similar apps.

- **Website SEO: present, but not yet working.** invocket.app has 170 pages: 12 comparison pages against Joist, Invoice Fly, Jobber and Housecall Pro; 17 industry pages for roofing, HVAC, plumbing and electrical; 11 pricing guides; 57 invoice templates; plus an llms.txt aimed at AI search. All of these pages were generated in a batch between Sep 28 and Oct 6. Five weeks is too short for search engines to deliver much traffic.

- **Social and creators: none.** No one has mentioned it on X in nearly 60 days. Searching "Invocket" on TikTok only turns up Dota's Invoker hero. No Reddit, Product Hunt, or press coverage either.

### Who it's competing with

| Product | Launched | Scale (US App Store, 11-06) | Compared with alternatives |
|---|---|---|---|
| Invoice Fly (Labhouse, Spain) | 2022-02 | 111k ratings, +7 in the last 435 days, #8 Business Top Grossing | Same playbook: a utility, a weekly subscription, heavy paid ads. Its scale is thousands of times bigger. Invocket is basically a shrunken Invoice Fly, aimed only at contractors. |
| Invoice Simple | 2013 | 123k ratings, Top Grossing #9 | Long-running general invoicing app with web access and payments |
| Invoice2go | 2012 | 56k ratings, Top Grossing #16 | Long-running, with cloud sync and payments |
| Joist | 2013 | 14k ratings, Top Grossing #15 | Built for contractors. From about $10/month, with payments and contracts |
| Jobber | Years ago | 22k ratings, Top Grossing #25 | Full field-service management software, from $49/month, for teams |
| QuoteIQ / Contractor+ | 2022 / 2020 | 3,451 / 1,869 ratings, #129 / #135 Top Grossing | A contractor CRM, ranked about the same |
| Invoo, Quotr Pro, XBuild, FieldQuote, BuildWell and others | 2025-01 to 2026-10 | Each has a few to 300 ratings, and most aren't on the charts | Also sells "describe the job, AI writes the estimate" |

Add big players like QuickBooks and Square, whose invoicing is free and bundled with payments and bookkeeping.

The table shows two things. First, invoicing is very crowded: the top 20 are all decade-old incumbents or heavy advertisers. Second, "AI estimates" already has more than a dozen apps in 2026 years, so it isn't unique to Invocket. Its AI feature suits an ad hook and works as a paywall lever (only 1 free uses), but it's no moat.

### If it were you

**Bottom line:** Invocket hasn't proven itself yet. It's one more app-factory attempt to port Invoice Fly's playbook to contractors. If you build one, you face a dozen new AI-estimate apps selling the same thing, with decade-old incumbents above them holding hundreds of thousands of ratings. What's worth copying is the process: pick an established category where people pay, narrow to one audience, and design the ads and paywall together.

**Who it suits:** small studios that already have a subscription-utility template, can run Meta ads, and do the math on cost per paying user. Ideally they're running several apps at once and can absorb some of them never paying back.

**Who it doesn't suit:** indie devs who don't run paid ads and want to grow slowly through store organic traffic and SEO. The category's search terms are owned by incumbents, and a site this new won't rank. It also doesn't suit anyone counting on "my AI estimates are more accurate." Users can't see that difference in ads or search results.

**How to do it:**

- Don't go head-to-head in the US English market. Try another country and language, such as the UK, Australia, Germany or Poland, for renovation and repair trades. Those markets have VAT on invoices and specific formatting rules, and localizing for them is the differentiator. (Inferred: I did not check competitors country by country.)

- Or focus on a single trade, such as roofing, HVAC, cleaning or landscaping. Pre-set line items to that trade's pricing habits, and make the name and screenshots about that one trade only.

- Use its paywall approach: free allowance of 3 invoices and 1 AI estimates, a trial, weekly and yearly plans side by side, and old invoices stay viewable and exportable after a subscription lapses, so users are less likely to leave bad reviews.

**How to get users:** Meta vertical video ads, camera on the job site and the phone: "Quote the job at the customer's door in three minutes." Put high-intent terms like invoice, estimate and receipt in the store subtitle, plus the matching terms in your target language. Industry and comparison pages can be generated in bulk, but don't expect them to bring traffic within three months.

**When to move:** no rush, and there's no closing window. Contractors need invoicing year-round. But new AI-estimate apps keep appearing every month, so paid acquisition gets more expensive the later you enter.

**What would show this read is wrong:** if Invocket breaks into the top 50 of Business Top Grossing within two or three months, or starts charting in the UK, Canada or Australia, then a small factory can break into a crowded category with this playbook. The bar is lower than assumed here, and it's worth following closely. Conversely, if it drops out of the top 200 and its ratings stay under a hundred, paid acquisition isn't paying back, and this path is harder for latecomers.

Where users come from

- **Confirmed** **Meta paid ads** : the FB page "Invoice & Estimate Maker" has only 174 followers, but its videos have 40k views, and the same copy runs across several posts (typical ad creative). The store privacy label lists "Data Used to Track You: Identifiers," so an attribution SDK is integrated.

- **Confirmed** **App Store search / ASO** : the subtitle "Easy Bill & Receipt Generator" stacks keywords; English plus Spanish; ranks near the top on aso-app's keyword pages; appears in "You Might Also Like" on similar apps.

- **Verified** **programmatic SEO / GEO** : invocket.app's 170 pages (compare, industries, templates, pricing guides) were generated between 2026-09-28 and 10-06, plus an llms.txt; too new to show much impact yet

- Inferred **Social, creators, press** : nothing found on X, TikTok, Reddit, PH or in the press.

## Invocket: Invoice & Estimate (iOS 6809397673) research report

> One line: a contractor invoicing + AI quoting app from Orvanta Digital Limited 2026-09-30, a small app factory registered in Cyprus. The playbook is a proven subscription-tool one: cold start runs on Meta paid ads and App Store keywords, paired with a hard paywall at $8.99 a week, so it charts in the US Business Top Grossing at #130–#190 despite few ratings. It claims its edge is "offline, no sign-up, AI quotes on site," but big players in this category already have that (Invoice Fly has 110k ratings), and a dozen new apps are building AI quoting too. It's working on spend and pricing, not on a unique product. Still small, and almost nobody is paying attention.

### 1. How to read the data card (correcting first)

- **Where it actually charts** : US store only, and only in the Business category chart. Top Grossing ranks: 10-28 #160 → 10-31 #145 → 11-03 #186 → 11-06 #139. On 11-02 and 11-03 it also hit #150 and #168 on the Business Top Free chart (appstore.chart_rank, 2026-11-06). AppInsider logged it at #73 on the US Business Top Free chart on 10-24 (appinsider.io). It has never charted on the overall chart.

- **Low barrier** : 11-06 On the US store's Business Top Grossing chart, #125–150 neighbors include niche paid tools like QuoteIQ (3,451 rating), Contractor+ (1,869), Sortly, iPlum, and Jump Desktop. #100 is CompanyCam, #25 is Jobber (appstore, 2026-11-06). In other words, the revenue behind #139 on Business Top Grossing is probably in the hundreds of dollars a day (this is my inference, not verified).

- **Rating growth** : 32 (10-28) → 56 (11-06), 9 added in 24 days, 1–8 per day (appstore.app_day). The iTunes lookup shows 11-06 ratings averaging 58 4.79. AppInsider estimates cumulative installs at "1k+". Very small.

- **Corrections to the recall notes** :
    - "Store name changed to Easy Bill & Receipt Generator" is wrong. That's the store **subtitle** . The app name has always been "Invocket: Invoice & Estimate" (App Store page, 2026-11-06). The subtitle still uses ASO tactics (stacking bill / receipt / generator keywords), but the name hasn't been repeatedly changed.
    - "Two weekly SKUs at the same price" is real: Invoices Pro 1 Week $8.99 appears twice. llms.txt says "$8.99/week or $98.99/year after the free trial," so the extra weekly SKU is most likely one with a trial and one without, or a paywall A/B test (inferred).
    - The "programmatic SEO site" is real but small and very new (see section 3). Within 5 weeks it can't be a major traffic source.

### 2. Competitors

| Competitors | Platform | Launched | Scale (appstore library, US, 2026-11-06) | How it differs from Invocket |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Invoice Maker - Invoice Fly (Labhouse Mobile, Spain) | iOS/Android | 2022-02 | 110,989 ratings, +7 in the last 435 days; #8 Business Top Grossing, #190 overall Top Grossing | Leader of the same "utility + weekly subscription + heavy ads" model, thousands of times its scale. Needs an account, takes payments. Invocket is largely copying its approach, scaled down to contractors. |
| Invoice Simple(Zenvoice) | iOS/Android/web | 2013 | 122,843 ratings; #9 Business Top Grossing | Long-running, general invoicing, with web access and online payments |
| Invoice Maker ▸ Estimate App(GetPaid) | iOS | 2017 | 37,113; #13 Top Grossing | General invoicing plus estimates |
| Joist(Joist Software) | iOS/Android | 2013 | 14,490; #15 Top Grossing | Built for contractor estimates and invoices, from about $10/month, with payments and contracts. Invocket has a dedicated comparison page on its site. |
| Invoice2go | iOS/Android/web | 2012 | 56,062; #16 Top Grossing | Long-running, with cloud sync and payments |
| Jobber | iOS/Android/web | Years ago | 21,530; #25 Top Grossing | Full field-service management software (scheduling, dispatch, CRM), from $49/month, for teams |
| QuoteIQ / Contractor+ | iOS/Android | 2022 / 2020 | 3,451 / 1,869 ratings; #129 / #135 Top Grossing | Contractor CRM, about the same rank as Invocket but heavier on features |
| New AI estimating apps: Invoo, Quotr Pro, BluMatrix, XBuild, Durval AI, Estimates: AI for Contractors, HB Construction Estimate Maker, Estimate & Invoice: FieldQuote, BuildWell and more | iOS | 2025-01 to 2026-10 | Each has a few to 300 ratings, and most aren't charted | It's selling the same pitch as Invocket (generating line-item estimates from a text description). That shows "AI estimating" was already crowded in 2026, so it isn't unique to Invocket |
| Big players like QuickBooks and Square Invoices | Big-company features | — | — | They're free or bundled with payments and bookkeeping. Invocket leans on "no sign-up, no payments, offline" and deliberately avoids head-to-head comparisons with them |

Bottom line: this category is crowded. The top spots go to veteran players like Invoice Fly and Invoice Simple plus heavy spenders on paid acquisition, and in 2025–2026 a dozen new "AI estimate" apps showed up. There's no competitive gap.

### 3. Growth tactics (evidence)

1. **Meta (Facebook/Instagram) paid ads: nearly confirmed.** The Facebook page "Invoice & Estimate Maker" (id 61594627432982) has only 174 followers, but one video, "Estimates & Invoices From Your Phone," has 40k views and 74 engagements. The page also has at least 4 posts with identical copy, "From the first estimate to the final invoice. Create professional paperwork for every job with Invocket" (Facebook page, read via Jina, 2026-11-06). Few followers, high views, and the same copy across multiple versions is the classic pattern for ad creative. One post says "Download Invoke It today," a typo that looks like it was left in when the creative was reused. Our metaads library doesn't track this advertiser (not finding it doesn't mean they aren't spending).

2. **Ad attribution SDKs** : the App Store privacy label reads "Data Used to Track You: Identifiers, Usage Data" (App Store, 2026-11-06). An offline, no-sign-up invoicing tool usually carries that label because it integrates ad attribution (Meta SDK, AppsFlyer, etc.), which fits paid acquisition (inference).

3. **App Store search / ASO** : the subtitle "Easy Bill & Receipt Generator" covers high-intent terms like invoice, estimate, bill, receipt, and generator. It's bilingual in English and Spanish, aimed at US Spanish-speaking contractors. On aso-app.com's "invoice data extraction" keyword page, Invocket ranks near the top (aso-app.com). In the store's "You Might Also Like" section it appears next to similar apps like Jobsheet and WinPal, suggesting store recommendations are also sending it traffic.

4. **Programmatic SEO / GEO** : invocket.app has 170 pages, including 12 compare pages (vs Joist, Invoice Fly, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Invoice2go, Square…), 17 industry pages, 11 pricing-guide pages, 57 free-resource pages (invoice templates by trade), plus glossary, academy, and ai-estimate-generator. All were generated between 2026-09-28 and 10-06 (sitemap lastmod), and there's a dedicated llms.txt for AI search to read. This is a long-term play, and the traffic it brings in 5 weeks is limited. Jina and Exa searches for "Invocket" find these pages, but no third-party articles.

5. **A second product line** : invocket.com is a separate web product (invoices + delivery notes + price lists, with Google sign-in and cloud sync). Its languages are Ukrainian (default), English, Czech, Polish, German, and Slovak, and its sitemap is dated 2026-09-27. That suggests a team with a Ukrainian background going global through a Cypriot company (Cyprus company registration no. 496479, companiesregistry.cy). The iOS version reuses the same brand, rebuilt for the US contractor market.

6. **Channels not found** : X (x-radar, 0 posts in the last ~60 days), TikTok (searching "Invocket" only returns Dota's Invoker), Reddit, Product Hunt, and press coverage show nothing. No sign of creators or organic word of mouth.

### 4. Why it got this far (up to its current small scale)

- **The category itself has high willingness to pay** : contractors and plumbers make money by sending quotes and invoices, so $8.99/week doesn't faze them. Similar apps like Invoice Fly and Joist stay in the top 20 of the Business Top Grossing chart, which shows the paying market already exists.

- **A hard paywall plus a weekly plan** : the free tier only allows 3 documents, 3 PDF exports, 3 saved clients, and 1 AI estimates (per llms.txt). Users hit the paywall on document 4 and pay. A weekly plan at $8.99 works out to about $36 a month, much more than Joist. A small number of downloads can produce meaningful revenue, which is how an app with a few dozen ratings can still reach the Business Top Grossing chart.

- **Spending money on targeted traffic** : Meta video ads push "create estimates and invoices on your phone" directly, and store search captures high-intent terms. The Business Top Grossing chart has a low bar, so a modest budget can land it in the 130–190 range.

- **AI estimating is an ad hook, not a moat** : "describe a job, get a line-item estimate" is easy to film and easy to pitch, which makes it good ad material. But the same feature appears in a dozen new apps.

### 5. Differentiation

The differentiators it claims (invocket.app/llms.txt and the compare pages) are four: offline-first, no sign-up, no handling of payments, and on-site AI line-item estimates, all aimed at a single vertical, contractors.

- Compared with Invoice Fly, Joist, and Jobber, these are genuinely different trade-offs: lighter, zero onboarding, and usable on job sites with poor signal.

- But "AI estimates" and "no sign-up" aren't scarce, and the weekly price is higher than Joist's. The differentiation works mainly as selling points for ads and SEO comparison pages, not as the reason it took off. The real reason is **the playbook of mature subscription tools: a paywall, paid acquisition, and ASO, applied to an older category with high willingness to pay** .

### 6. Visibility and copycats

- Revenue isn't public. There's no TrustMRR record and no press or X discussion. Third-party data is limited to auto-generated pages on Apptopia, AppInsider, and IndieTower. **Few people know about it yet.**

- Copycats: none seen copying it directly. It's itself a follower of the Invoice Fly model, and at the same time many "AI estimate" apps launched (BuildWell 2026-10-19, InvoDash 2026-09-29 listing, etc.).

### 7. What others can learn

- Pick an existing tool category with high willingness to pay (invoicing, estimating), narrow it to one vertical (contractors), and repackage it in that group's context (on site, poor signal, no sign-up wanted).

- Use the AI feature as an ad hook and as the paywall trigger (free tier gets only 1 AI estimates).

- Use AI to batch-generate 170 pages of compare, industry, template, and pricing-guide content within a week, then add llms.txt to capture AI search traffic, at nearly zero cost.

- One studio ships several apps at once (cleaners, AI notes, validators, invoicing). The site says 7 are in progress, all using the same acquisition and paywall template, and budget goes to whichever one pays back.

### 8. Still unclear

- Ad spend and payback: no direct data from the Meta ad library (no token, and metaads doesn't track it). Whether it runs Apple Search Ads can't be seen.

- The actual revenue for the 139th-place rank can only be inferred from its neighbors.

- The purpose of the second weekly SKU (trial variant or A/B test) hasn't been verified.

- Retention and refund rates are unknown. The review sample is empty (too few ratings, so the database didn't collect reviews).
