# A "non-withdrawable" crypto betting game hit 300k installs in two and a half months: behind it is a Cypriot company that has already reached hundreds of millions of installs

**What it is** An Android game where you guess crypto price moves over 5 minutes with fake money, with check-ins, a spin wheel and slot machines, monetized only by ads.

**Why it's taking off** The company behind it has already scaled a trading simulator to tens of millions of installs. It launched a new account under a new legal entity, reusing a proven template of paid acquisition, gambling-style retention and ad monetization, and is pushing into the Business category chart in markets like Saudi Arabia and Thailand.

**C** **How you could approach it** Don't build a seventh English crypto simulator. A team with paid acquisition capability could carry over the structure (short two-way rounds, streak-reset check-ins, a daily spin wheel, ad monetization) to local stocks, gold or sports predictions, in a language these apps haven't covered, and test next-day retention and CPI on a small budget first.

Grade C: the niche is already crowded by several players with tens of millions of installs, and the largest one is still launching new accounts. Scale comes from paid acquisition and account networks that indie developers don't have. What you can learn is the retention structure, not the opportunity itself. Not yet widely known

Trading Club: Crypto Simulator is an Android game where you guess Bitcoin's price moves with fake money. It launched in Aug 18, reached 6k installs by Nov 302, and added 57k more in the last week. It looks like a hit from a small team. Digging deeper, the company behind it has already reached 59M installs with similar products, and this is a new account it opened. Below: how it works, where the users come from, where the money comes from, and why an indie developer probably shouldn't follow this one.

### "How do I withdraw? Can someone tell me"

In Nov 3, a Saudi user gave Trading Club 1 stars on Google Play with a single line in Arabic: "كيف نسحب الفلوس حد يفهمني كيف نسحب" (How do we withdraw the money? Will someone explain how to withdraw). Three days earlier, a Thai user also gave 1 stars: "Don't like it's fake money, not real money." An earlier review in Turkish said "I can't take my money out."

The answer: you can't. The official site's first screen says "No real money — ever," every dollar in the app is virtual, and signing up gives you 7,000 virtual dollars. But these reviews show that some people installed it expecting to earn money. Where those people come from is covered below.

### What it actually is

Opening the app, the home screen shows your virtual balance and earnings stats. The core mechanic is a single action: watch a live coin price chart and pick up or down, one round every 5 minutes. Bets come in three tiers, 5, 25 and 100 virtual dollars, and a correct pick pays ×2; you can unlock ×6 for bigger bets. It supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Solana and a few other coins.

Wrapped around this action is a full set of social-gambling retention tools (official site mytradingclub.app, 11-06):

- **7-day check-in** : day one pays 100 virtual dollars, rising each day, with a 7-dollar chest on day 1,000; miss one day and you start over;

- **Lucky Spin wheel** : one free spin a day, prizes include sports cars, yachts and jets (all virtual), and each extra spin costs 250 game coins;

- **Slot machines, tournaments, leaderboards** .

The store rating is Mature 17+ (simulated gambling), there are no in-app purchases, and it's labeled "contains ads": revenue comes entirely from ads. The official site calls it "a gym, not a casino," but a 5-minute, up-or-down, ×2 payout interface is nearly identical to binary options platforms like IQ Option and Pocket Option, just with fake money. With no real money involved, financial licensing doesn't come into play.

The website even has a small playable widget: a randomly moving price line where you tap up or down and get a result in 5 seconds. You get a taste before installing.

### How fast it's growing

| Date | Cumulative installs (Google Play) |
|---|---|
| 08-18 | Launched |
| 09-17 | About 15k (third-party estimate) |
| 10-05 | About 113k (third-party estimate) |
| 10-29 | 245k |
| 11-06 | 302k |

The rating is 4.59 from about 2,670 reviews, with 79% of them 5 stars, and 40–65 new ratings are added each day. 11-06 It's on the Business free chart in 13 storefronts: #28 in Saudi Arabia, #37 in Thailand, #49 in Hong Kong, #59 in Turkey, #73 in Taiwan; its best in Thailand in October was #22. It hasn't charted in the US or UK stores.

Choosing the Business category wasn't accidental. Its competitors are bookkeeping, scanning and hiring tools, so breaking into the top 50 costs far less than it would in Games.

### Who made it

The store listing shows the developer as Digital Brain Apps, which tells you nothing. But the privacy policy names the data controller as **PUZZLE FINCH GAMES LTD** , registered in Limassol, Cyprus.

Checking the Cyprus company registry: Puzzle Finch Games (registered 2022 years ago) has the same two people as director and secretary as another company, **Clickfun Limited** . Clickfun is the entity behind Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator, a crypto trading simulator with 59.5M installs on Google Play that gained 577k in the last week, nearly twice Trading Club's total installs for the same week. Two sister apps, Gocrypto (37.3M installs) and GoTrading (3.93M), sit under another company name, but with an address identical to Clickfun's. Their privacy policies are the same template, and their support emails all follow help@ plus the brand domain.

Cypriot directors and secretaries can be nominee appointments from company-formation agencies, so "one boss" is an inference, not proof. But the same director, the same secretary, the same category and the same template stacked together make it very likely.

In July 2026, TechTimes ran an article on Clickfun that reads like a PR piece: a trading simulator portfolio that reached 50M downloads in three years, with monetization "almost entirely from ad impressions, with subscriptions basically absent." The CTO said they watch four numbers every day: ARPU, CPI, retention and session length, with a target of over 30% day-one retention.

So the most plausible reading of Trading Club is **a new app from an established app-portfolio company** : new legal entity, new developer account, new brand, with mechanics that lean more into gambling than its flagship (a wheel and slots added), and ad targeting shifted from Nigeria to the Middle East and East Asia. Simulated gambling and incentivized ratings both sit at the edge of Google's policies, and running several accounts means one ban doesn't wipe out the whole portfolio.

### Where users come from

- **Paid acquisition (inferred, moderate confidence)** . The parent company has said publicly that it works on the spread between CPI and ARPU, and in early October there were single-day spikes of 10,000 to 20,000 installs. But we have no direct evidence of Meta, TikTok or Google ad spend. Note also that the store's install counts only update every few days (from 10-30 to 11-02 it changed only 10-31 times), so part of the "stepped curve" is the data refresh schedule, not proof of paid buying on its own.

- **Incentivized installs (inferred, indirect evidence)** . Recent reviews include a batch that clearly isn't about this app: Thai "I really like this show... my reward hasn't arrived yet" (10-23), "the show is great" (10-17,12 people liked it), Traditional Chinese "劇集ok", and Indian users writing "tiktok app badhiya nice", "much better than those tiktok-type apps", "watch and learn". These look like people who installed it as part of a "download and rate for a reward" task in a short-drama or watch-to-earn app. The earlier reviews asking how to withdraw money fit this too: these users thought they were installing a money-making app.

- **Organic traffic from category charts** . It sits on the Business chart in a dozen or so stores, which brings some search and browse traffic.

- **Content and creators: almost none** . YouTube has two short videos, an Indonesian one asking "is it real or fake" (48 views) and a Hindi one about how to withdraw. Nobody has mentioned it on X in the past two months.

### Where the money comes from, and how much

Ads only. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and it doesn't reach the grossing charts. At the few cents to few tens of cents per install typical for this kind of app's ad revenue, total revenue from 300k installs can't be large (estimate, unverified). This account isn't a big business on its own. For the parent company, its value is testing a more gambling-heavy version and adding one more account; how much this single app earns isn't the point.

### Who's competing

This category is already crowded. Simulated-funds trading apps on Google Play include:

| Product | Scale (Google Play, 11-06) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cryptoguru | 59.5M, +577k a week | Sister flagship, positioned as a "trading academy" |
| Gocrypto | 37.3M, +373k a week | Sister app, #11 on Saudi Business, ranked higher than Trading Club |
| Trading Arena | 29.5M | Estonian company, with PvP and mining idle mechanics |
| CryptoRush | 13.1M, +499k a week | The largest outside competitor, tens of millions in revenue in a year, #1 on Nigeria's Business chart |
| Crypto Legends / CryptoCosmic | 7.18M / 6.39M | Trading plus collecting |
| GoTrading / TradingGuru | 3.93M / 1.5M | Stock-trading version from the same family |
| Trading Club | 300k, +58k a week | The subject of this piece, the smallest in this group |

On the real-money side, IQ Option has 134M installs. Exchange demo accounts and TradingView's paper trading serve real traders and aren't gamified.

### If it were you

**C** . You can learn something, but following it isn't worth it. This is a business of paid acquisition and account portfolios. Several players already sit here with eight-figure install counts, and the biggest is still launching new accounts. An independent developer has nothing here that others can't get.

**Who it suits** : companies already running hyper-casual or social gambling games, with an ad-mediation stack and a paid-user acquisition team, who can calculate CPI and ad ARPU for each country. For them it's a cheap reskin category.

**Who it doesn't suit** : individual developers who haven't run paid ads and are counting on organic store traffic or content; anyone building an educational product that really teaches trading (this category's users want thrills, not lessons, and check-ins and the wheel are what drive retention); anyone who doesn't want to go near the edge of Google's policies (simulated gambling, incentivized ratings).

**If you still want to build, how** : don't make a seventh English crypto simulator. Borrow the structure: a short two-choice round under 5 minutes, a check-in that resets after 7 days missed, a free daily wheel, and ad-only monetization, but apply it to topics nobody here covers, such as local stocks, gold, forex or sports score predictions, in a language this group hasn't targeted. On the landing page, copy their approach and put a playable mini-widget up front.

**How to get users** : paid acquisition only, plus the category chart. Start with a small budget in one or two low-CPI stores (Southeast Asia, the Middle East) and check whether day-one retention reaches 30% and whether ad revenue per user covers CPI. If neither holds, stop.

**Is there a window to wait for** : no rush, since this category won't disappear suddenly. But there's no window to wait for either. People have been building here since 2021.

**What would show this read is wrong** : (1) a small team unconnected to these companies builds a similar hit to millions of installs without paid buying, using TikTok content, which would mean content-led acquisition still works; (2) Google tightens its policies on simulated gambling or incentivized ratings and this family of apps gets pulled in bulk, which would mean this route is closing and the reskinners will be cleared out too; (3) Trading Club itself reaches several million installs within a month or two and overtakes Gocrypto, which would mean the more gambling-like mechanics are themselves the growth lever and deserve a closer look than a C grade.

Where users come from

- Inferred **Paid acquisition (CPI arbitrage)** : the install curve jumps in steps; the sister company's CTO told TechTimes they watch CPI, ARPU and retention daily and monetize almost entirely through ads; our Meta, TikTok and Google ad libraries show no tracking for it

- Inferred **Incentivized / offerwall installs (download and rate for a reward)** : many recent reviews are about something else: Thai "I really like this show" and "the show is great", Traditional Chinese "劇集ok", Indian users "tiktok app badhiya"; there's also an Arabic "how to withdraw"; 5-star reviews make up 79%, and most are a single word

- **Verified** **Store charts and search** : charted on the Business free chart in 19 stores, best in Thailand at #22, Saudi Arabia #26, Taiwan #38 (googleplay library chart_rank)

## Why Trading Club: Crypto Simulator (app.mytradingclub.android) got traction

> Channel: Google Play. Developer account Digital Brain Apps; legal entity PUZZLE FINCH GAMES LTD (Limassol, Cyprus). Research date 2026-11-06.

### Bottom line

This isn't a breakout from a small independent team. It's **another "crypto trading simulator" in the Clickfun family from Cyprus (the same people behind Cryptoguru, 59.5M installs, and Gocrypto, 37.3M installs), launched under a new legal entity and a new account** . The playbook is the one this category has already proven: paid acquisition pulls people in, up/down rounds plus daily rewards plus wheel and slots keep them, and ad mediation monetizes. Compared with the older products, it pushes the mechanics a step further toward gambling (5-minute up/down rounds, ×2/×6 multipliers, Lucky Spin, Slots, Mature 17+ content rating), and it targets Business chart rankings in Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Turkey. The launch was driven by resources and distribution. The product differences are secondary.

### 1. Basic data

| items | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Launched | 2026-08-18 | Play store page / googleplay library |
| Total installs | 302,249 (store tier 100K+) | googleplay library app_profile, 2026-11-06; google-play-scraper live pull returns the same value |
| New in the last 7 days | +57,548 (about +19%) | googleplay library |
| Install curve | 08-30 about 651 → 09-17 about 15k → 10-01 about 57k → 10-05 about 113k → 10-21 about 214k → 11-06 302k | googleplay library app_day_ext (AppstoreSpy estimate) + app_day |
| Rating | 4.59 points from 2,683 ratings; 5-star 2,133 ratings (79%), 1-star 64 ratings | google-play-scraper,2026-11-06 |
| Rating growth | About 39–67 ratings a day, roughly 0.7% of daily new installs | googleplay library app_day |
| Monetization | "Contains ads", no in-app purchases (offersIAP=false) | Store page |
| Rating | Mature 17+ (simulated gambling) | Store page |
| Charted | Business Top Free chart: best rank #22 in Thailand, #26 in Saudi Arabia, #38 in Taiwan, #47 in Hong Kong, #54 in Turkey, #65 in the UAE, #68 in Mexico… charted in 19 stores in total; not the US or UK store | googleplay library chart_rank, 10-29 to 11-06 |

The curve is **stepped** : 10-01, 10-05, 10-08, 10-13 and 10-21 each show a single-day jump of 1–25k, with almost no change in between. That looks more like waves of paid acquisition than the smooth growth of organic word of mouth. (AppstoreSpy spreads its numbers across the observations between checks, so single-day figures aren't reliable, but the step shape is visible.)

### 2. Who makes it: the key finding

- The privacy policy and terms of service name the "Owner and Data Controller" as **PUZZLE FINCH GAMES LTD** , at Vosporou 29, Block A, Office 202, Agios Athanasios, Limassol (https://mytradingclub.app/privacy-policy/ and /terms-of-use/).

- Cyprus company registry records show that the director of Puzzle Finch Games Ltd (registered as HE439487,2022-10-20) is **ANATOLII OBIEEDKOV** , with ALLA KONIKKOU as secretary. **CLICKFUN LIMITED** (HE424591) has the same two people as director and secretary (companiesregistry.cy pages for both companies).

- Clickfun Limited is the privacy policy entity behind **Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator** (one.cryptoguru.cryptotradingacademy, 59.5M installs, +577k in the last 7 days) and **TradingGuru** (1.5M installs, charted at 2026-06). Their privacy policies are cryptoguru.one/privacy-policy and tradingguru.one/privacy.

- **Gocrypto** (37.3M installs) and **GoTrading** (3.93M installs) are operated by MOBILE EDTECH SOLUTIONS, at exactly the same address as Clickfun (Favieru 6, Mairoza Court 6, Office 1, Limassol) (gocrypto.academy/privacy-policy).

- The support emails all follow help@<brand domain> (help@cryptoguru.one, help@gocrypto.academy, help@tradingguru.one, help@tradingclub.app), and the privacy policies share one template.

- A TechTimes 2026-07-09 article (it reads like a PR piece) covers Clickfun: a trading-simulator portfolio that reached 50M downloads in three years, with "almost all monetization from ad impressions, essentially no subscriptions." CTO Bogdan Filippov tracks four metrics daily: ARPU, CPI, retention and session length, with a target of over 30% day-one retention. A separate financial-education simulator line has over 5M monthly active users.

Conclusion: Trading Club is almost certainly a new front from this group. Note that the Cyprus director and secretary may be nominees supplied by a company-formation service, so "same owner" is a strong inference, not proof. But the same director, same secretary, same category, same privacy-policy template and the same email naming pattern, stacked together, point very clearly in one direction.

### 3. Competitors

Google Play apps doing the same thing (simulated trading of virtual funds in crypto or stocks, price-direction predictions) (googleplay library, 2026-11-06):

| Product | Persona | Launched | Scale | How it differs from Trading Club |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cryptoguru: Trading Simulator | Clickfun (same group) | 2023-10 | 59.5M installs, +7k in 577 day(s), #10 on Nigeria's Business chart | The group's flagship, positioned as a "trading academy" with no wheel or slots in the description; focused on markets such as Nigeria |
| Gocrypto: Crypto Trading | Mobile Edtech Solutions (same address) | 2024-06 | 37.3M, 7 daily +373k; Saudi Business #11, Thailand #13 | Same group, and it also ranks higher than Trading Club in Saudi Arabia and Thailand |
| GoTrading / TradingGuru | Same group | 2025-12 / 2026-06 | 3.93M / 1.5M | The stock-trading version of the same group |
| CryptoRush: Crypto Simulator | CryptoRush(cryptorush.me) | 2025-09 | 13.1M, 7 day +499k, Nigeria Business #1 | The largest outside comparable, reportedly grossing eight figures a year |
| Trading Arena - Crypto Simulator | Edusystems OÜ (Estonia) | 2021-08 | 29.5M | Adds multiplayer battles and idle mining mechanics |
| CryptoCosmic Trading Simulator | Cosmic Champions | 2024-12 | 6.39M | Peers |
| Crypto Legends – Trade & Collect | 2GoodApps | 2024-11 | 7.18M | Trading plus collecting |
| Gobi: Trading Simulator | Arca Research | 2026-06 | 73k | A newer comparable, small in scale |
| Demo accounts from binary-options platforms such as IQ Option, ExpertOption and Pocket Option | Brokers | Years | IQ Option has 134M installs | Real-money platforms. Trading Club's "5 minutes, up/down, ×2 multiplier" is almost the binary-options interface with virtual coins swapped in |
| Simulated accounts and testnets on exchanges such as Binance and Phemex; paper trading on TradingView | Big-company features | Years | — | Aimed at real traders, with no gamification |

This category is already crowded. In the googleplay library alone, five or six apps with "simulator + crypto/trading" in their descriptions add hundreds of thousands of installs a week, and Trading Club is the smallest of them.

### 4. Where users come from (acquisition)

1. **Paid user acquisition (inferred, very likely)** : the stepped install curve; the group's CTO has publicly said the money comes from the gap between CPI and ARPU. Our Meta, TikTok and Google ad libraries don't track it (it isn't on the list), so there is **no direct evidence** .

2. **Incentivized and offer-wall traffic (inferred, indirect evidence)** : recent reviews include a batch that clearly isn't about the app's content. Thai reviews say "ผมชอบละครเรื่องนี้มาก" (I really like this drama) and "ดูละครสนุกดีคะ" (watching the drama is fun); a Traditional Chinese review says "劇集ok。" (the show is ok); English-language reviews say "tiktok app badhiya nice", "much better than tiktop type programs" and "watch and learn"; and there are many 5-star reviews that just say "good", "nice" or "ممتاز". This looks like users installing and rating the app as a reward task inside a short-drama or "watch videos to earn" app. Other reviews ask in Arabic "how do I withdraw" and say in Thai "รวดเร็วได้ยอดเงินจริง" (fast, real money received), which suggests some people think it's a money-earning app. (Recent reviews pulled with google-play-scraper, 2026-11-06.)

3. **Store search and category charts** : in 13–19 stores it reached the top 200 of the Business Top Free chart (Thailand and Saudi Arabia got into the top 30). The Business category has a low bar, so charting there brings a steady stream of installs on its own.

4. **Content and creators** : almost none. YouTube has two small videos: an Indonesian "real or fake" review (48 views) and a Hindi video titled "Trading club app how to withdraw". X (via x-radar) has 60 posts in the last 0 days. A TikHub search returned nothing (the tool may be faulty; not verified).

5. **Owned websites** : mytradingclub.app and tradingclub.app are landing pages with an embedded playable "five-second up/down" widget, built for SEO and ad landing. No traffic data seen.

### 5. Why people stay

- Each round lasts 5 minutes, you only pick up or down, odds are ×2, the feedback is fast, and there's a gambling thrill;

- A 7-day streak bonus (day 7 gives a 1,000 virtual-dollar chest, and missing a day resets it), one free spin a day, slots, tournaments and leaderboards. This whole package is the retention toolkit of social casino games;

- "You can't get locked out even if you lose everything": daily rewards keep coming, so people keep coming back to watch ads.

This is how the Clickfun CTO's "day-one retention 30%+ and well-tuned ad mediation" plays out in practice.

### 6. Differentiation

Compared with its sister apps Cryptoguru and Gocrypto, and with CryptoRush, Trading Club differs in that (1) its core loop has moved from "learn trading / virtual positions" to fast 5-minute up/down rounds, closer to binary options; (2) it adds Lucky Spin and Slots, with more social-casino content, rated Mature 17+; (3) it has a new legal entity, a new developer account and a new brand, and it targets the Middle East and East Asia instead of Nigeria. **These are not the main reasons it got traction.** The category, the monetization model and the acquisition capability all came ready-made from the group. Its 300k installs are small next to the group's other apps (Cryptoguru added 570k in a single week), and it ranks lower than sister Gocrypto in Saudi Arabia and Thailand. The more plausible reading is that this is a **new account in a portfolio** . Spreading the work across accounts reduces the risk of Google penalties (simulated gambling and prompting ratings both sit at the edge of policy), while testing a more gambling-flavored version of the product.

### 7. How many people have seen it

Hardly anyone knows about it yet. Revenue isn't public, and no media outlet or X account has covered the app. The only press is the TechTimes piece about parent company Clickfun, which doesn't mention Trading Club. But the "trading simulator + ad monetization" category has already been written about and is crowded, so it isn't a blue ocean.

### 8. Copycats

No direct copycats found. It is itself a late entrant in this category, and in the group's portfolio.

### 9. What others can learn

- A proven template (virtual funds + fast up/down rounds + check-ins and spins + ad mediation) can be reskinned, re-registered under a new entity, re-published on new accounts and launched in new countries again and again, and no single product needs to be large;

- Moving the interaction of a real-money product (binary options) into a "no withdrawals" simulator sidesteps financial regulation while keeping the thrill;

- Picking a low-barrier category like Business and buying installs in cheap-CPI markets such as the Middle East and Southeast Asia to chase category charts;

- Putting a playable widget on the landing page lowers hesitation before install.

### 10. Still unclear

- Whether it runs direct Meta, Google or TikTok ads, and how much (our ad libraries don't track it);

- What share of traffic is incentivized, and whether the "drama" reviews come from offer-wall tasks or something else;

- Whether the Puzzle Finch and Clickfun directors and secretaries are just nominees from a registration service (the shared director is a strong signal, but not proof);

- Revenue: there are no grossing-chart signals, so it relies on ads alone. Based on ad revenue of a few US cents per install, the total from 300k installs is likely modest (not verified);
