# A Roblox clothes app that's never been updated, 3.5 months to 2.6M installs: nothing in the product to copy, but the playbook is worth stealing

**What it is** An app that lists free Roblox clothing and skin item codes so kids can copy them in one tap. Ads only, no in-app purchases.

**Why it took off** Not word of mouth, paid acquisition. The studio started buying installs in August, ramped in September, and in October hit single-day spikes of 100K to 200K. Then it used the low-bar Productivity category to climb the charts in 19 countries. Most users came from ads that oversold the app: kids in Brazil and Southeast Asia.

**C** **How you could follow this** Don't build another Roblox clothing code app; that slot is full. Take the formula (a topic kids search every day + the simplest possible content shell + an overlooked category + Google ad buys in low-cost markets + ads-only monetization + testing several apps at once) and apply it to a new game or IP that hasn't been saturated yet.

Grade C: the arbitrage formula is worth learning, but this specific category is a template factory. Over 2026 years, a dozen-plus new entrants have shown up each year. The product has zero barrier, it uses Roblox's name without permission (delisting risk), and following it means competing on cost with a row of multi-account ad studios. Not worth it. Few people know about it yet

StyleWorld Outfit & Skin is a free Roblox clothing code collection from a small Indian studio. It launched in July 17, its version number has stayed at 1.0, and by November it had 6 installs. It added 2.6k more in the last 7 days, bringing it to 345 overall. It has nothing new in the product. It worked because of three things: it picked an overlooked category, bought traffic in cheap countries, and paid back through ads. Below: how it works, where the money comes from, and whether this playbook is worth copying, and where.

### A 191-person-upvoted one-star review

In Oct 2026 4, a Brazilian user left a one-star review in Portuguese on Google Play for StyleWorld:

> "It doesn't give me Robux at all, not what I saw in the ad. It's not all real like you show. I searched a long time for an app that gives Robux and found none, it's disgusting!! 😡😡👎"

By November 6, 191 people had marked it helpful. The same day, an English-language review said almost the same thing: "It doesn't have the button in the ad where you create your own avatar 🥺😭😡😡" (19 found it helpful). Earlier, in October 7, another review with 55 likes said: "Too many ads, it wants your email, and I never got the clothes."

These three reviews sum up how the app got its users: **people were pulled in by ads, and the ads promised things the app doesn't have.** Its store listing is rated "Everyone," so most of the people who installed it are kids in Brazil and Southeast Asia looking for free skins and free Robux.

### What it actually is

When you open it, you see a few pages of clothing, hairstyle, and accessory images sorted by category. Each item has a "copy code" button, and you paste the code into Roblox yourself. There's no editor, no try-on, no account system, no purchases, only ads. The store description misspells "Disclaimer" as "Desclaimer" and promises "regularly updated trendy clothing." In fact it hasn't had a single update since its July 17 launch.

The developer is listed as Princess Infotech, registered under one person in India. The support email also appears on Aakansha Studio, NovaPixel Labs, XKIX All Video Downloader (address in Ahmedabad, Gujarat), a loan EMI calculator, and several other developer accounts. The same legal person also has a flashlight app, a keyboard app, and a wheel-spinning app called "Spin Get Robux" (AppBrain, Google Play developer page, 11-06). This is a studio that mass-publishes small utility apps under many accounts, and StyleWorld is the one that got traction.

### How the installs came: not word of mouth, budget

Based on third-party estimates of daily installs (AppstoreSpy), the curve looks like this:

| Timeline | What happened |
|---|---|
| 7/17 launch → 8/13 | Nearly a month, only about 2,000 cumulative installs |
| 8/16–8/17 | First jump, single-day 3,500 → 4,700 |
| 9/3 | Passed 100K |
| From ¥9/7 | A plateau of 4–70K per day, passed 9/25 and reached 1M |
| 10/4, 10/8, 10/21 | Three single-day spikes: +220K, +170K, +110K |
| 10/29–11/6 | 3–50K per day, reaching 2.6M cumulative (Google Play, 11-06) |

A month of silence, then stepped climbs, with a few days of surges that fall back. That's the shape of budget being turned on, raised, and cut, not growth from content or word of mouth. *Inference, high confidence.* Searching TikTok for its name turns up no relevant videos, X has zero discussion, and no media outlet has written about it. The only places it appears outside Google Play are APK mirror sites and Sensor Tower's chart pages.

Another number shows user quality: for every 1,000 installs, it gets only 0.67 ratings. Customuse, a similar app with a real editor, gets 85. J.K Mobile, a code collection with in-app purchases, gets 5.9. Users install, see a few ads, and leave.

Which platforms the money went to, and what each install cost, can't be found from outside. The most common tool for studios like this is Google App Campaigns (creatives appear in YouTube and mini-game ad slots). That's an inference here.

### Why it's in the Productivity category

This was its smartest move. Most similar apps sit in Entertainment, Personalization, or Art & Design. StyleWorld went into Productivity. The free chart in Productivity has a low bar: in Brazil, the Philippines, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Poland, a few tens of thousands of installs per day is enough to reach the top 20–30.

In November 6, it ranked on Productivity free charts in 19 countries: #16 in Brazil, #20 in the Philippines, #25 in Malaysia, #27 in the Netherlands, #28 in Thailand, #30 in Indonesia, and #39 in Argentina and Poland. In November 2 it reached #7 in Malaysia (Google Play chart, 11-06). Charting brings extra store exposure and search volume, so some of the bought traffic turns into organic traffic too.

The choice of countries is deliberate too: Brazil, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and South Africa have lots of Roblox kids and cheap installs. Ad revenue there is low, but enough to cover acquisition costs. *Inference, actual ROI unverified.*

### Where the money comes from

One source of revenue: interstitial and banner ads. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions. The store page shows 3.6 stars from 1,760 ratings, and the star distribution is polarized: either one-star reviews complaining about ads and missing items, or five-star reviews from kids saying "I love it, don't remove it." There's no retention and no need for retention. The ads each new user sees before leaving are the entire revenue model.

One detail worth flagging: its star distribution has the same number of 2-star reviews as 0,3-star and 4-star reviews (58 each). That looks unnatural. Could be review manipulation, unverified.

### Who it's competing with

Many, and most are older and bigger (Google Play data, 11-06):

| Product | Launched | Total installs | How it differs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roblox's official marketplace | Has been around all along | Roblox on Android, 1.7B | Official browsing, try-on, and free items already available |
| Customuse: Skins Maker | 2023-06 | 13.2M | A real design tool with in-app purchases, where users actually stay |
| Skins & Avatars Clothes Maker | 2023-01 | 11.9M | Editor + in-app purchases |
| Rbx Clothes Maker: Skin Editor | 2026-03 | 10.8M, 7 days +117k | Launched the same year, 4× bigger |
| Clothes and Skins for RBX | 2024-08 | 8.15M, 7 days +178k | Same kind of code collection, in Entertainment, with in-app purchases |
| Clothes Skin for Roblox(CLUSTER Softtech) | 2025-07 | 4.16M | Almost the identical playbook: Productivity, ads only, 0.59 ratings per thousand installs |

Over 2026 years, a dozen or so new similar apps launched each year, and two more came in late August (Jade-Core, Gaming Lab). StyleWorld's installs over the last 7 days are the highest of this group, yet its cumulative total is only a quarter to a fifth of the leader's. It's a templated factory category: anyone can enter, and people keep entering.

### Can you ride it?

Building another identical Roblox clothing code app doesn't make much sense. With zero product barrier, your competition isn't StyleWorld; it's a row of studios that will buy ads too, each with a dozen accounts. Worse, the app name uses "Roblox" directly and the ads promise "free Robux" and "create your own avatar," so takedown and account-ban risk is always present. That's why this studio spreads itself across so many accounts.

What's actually worth taking is the formula: **a ready-made need kids search for every day + the simplest possible content shell + a category with a low chart bar + cheap-country ad buys + ads-only monetization + several apps tested at once, scaling the ones that work.** None of that is tied to Roblox, and you can swap in a different topic.

### If it were you

**One-line verdict** : there's nothing in this app itself worth following, but it shows the "overlooked category + cheap-market ads + ads-only" arbitrage still worked on Google Play in 2026. If you do it, pick a topic the Indian studios haven't saturated yet.

**Who it suits** : small teams already doing AdMob monetization, who can run Google App Campaigns and calculate install cost against per-user ad revenue. Also teams that can keep several developer accounts running and will move on when one app is removed.

**Who it doesn't suit** : anyone who wants to build a product that keeps users long-term (there's no retention here); anyone who hasn't run paid ads and is counting on organic traffic (this app's traffic is almost entirely bought); anyone worried about platform policy risk or who only has one developer account.

**How to do it** : don't build another Roblox clothing code app. That slot already had a dozen-plus entrants by 2026. Find a topic that the same audience (ages 8–14) searches for consistently but that has few similar apps, like a newly popular game or an animation's wallpapers and stickers. Build a content shell you can ship in two weeks, place ad slots by AdMob's rules, and don't make fake "free Robux" promises. Put it in a low-bar category like Productivity, Tools, or Personalization, and before you launch, check roughly how many installs per day the #20 app in that category gets in your target country.

**How to acquire users** : start with Google App Campaigns, with a small budget each in Brazil, the Philippines, and Indonesia. See whether you can get cost per install below local per-user ad revenue. Make creatives that show "open and it works" real screen recordings, not promises of features the app lacks. Oversold creatives bring in one-star reviews, which drag down store conversion. Scale what works; kill what doesn't within a week.

**When to move** : there's no hard deadline. These opportunities follow the topic. The emptiest window is usually the first two or three months after a new game or IP takes off.

**What would mean you misread it** : ① After StyleWorld stopped paid acquisition (new daily installs fell below a few thousand), its chart rank dropped out of the top 100 fast, and its developer never shipped a new app in the same vein, which suggests the buying didn't pay and they stopped playing the game themselves; ② over the next few months Google Play takes down a wave of apps that borrow the Roblox name, or the productivity charts start cleaning out non-productivity tools, which would mean the platforms have closed this route; ③ you test it in two or three countries and the cost per install stays above ad revenue every time, which would mean this arbitrage only works for people with lower costs and more accounts.

Where users come from

- **Confirmed** **Paid acquisition (platform unconfirmed, most likely Google App Campaigns)** : top store review (2026-10-04): 'it doesn't have a button to make your own avatar like the ad did'; install curve is step-shaped ramps plus single-day spikes; only 0.67 ratings per 1K installs; not on our ad library watchlist

- **Confirmed** **Store charts (niche category arbitrage)** : listed under Productivity instead of Entertainment, #100 on 19's Productivity Top Free, Brazil 16, Philippines 20, Malaysia 25 (chart_rank 2026-11-06)

- **Confirmed** **Low-price markets** : charted countries cluster in Brazil, Southeast Asia, Latin America and South Africa

- **Confirmed** **Developer account matrix** : sarvangapps1@gmail.com is used across several developer names, including Princess Infotech, Aakansha Studio, NovaPixel Labs and XKIX (Ahmedabad, Gujarat); the legal rep DINESHBHAI LABHUBHAI JASANI also appears on Hoken teech, Chicken Royal and other accounts

- Inferred **TikTok / X / creators / media** : TikHub and x-radar returned nothing relevant

### Bottom line

This isn't an app that wins on product. It's the standard playbook of an **AdMob arbitrage studio in Gujarat, India that runs a matrix of developer accounts** : take a proven niche, 'free Roblox clothing/skin ID collection', ship it as a 1.0 version that never gets updated, put it in the least competitive category, **Productivity** , then push (very likely Google App Campaign) paid acquisition into cheap markets like Brazil and Southeast Asia, and earn back the cost through interstitial and banner ads. Against its peers it has no product differentiation; the only edge is **category choice and how hard it spends on acquisition** .

### 1. Data

| Metric | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Total installs | 2,595,197 (store tier 1M+) | googleplay library app_snap, 2026-11-06 |
| New in the last 7 days | 344,858 (about 49k/day) | Google Play library app_profile |

| Ratings per 1K installs | **0.67** | Calculated from app_snap |
| Monetization | Contains ads; no in-app purchases (offers_iap=False) | app_snap / store page |

| Charts | 2026-11-06 on 19's Productivity Top Free: Brazil 16, Philippines 20, Malaysia 25, Netherlands 27, Thailand 28, Indonesia 30, Poland/Argentina 39…; best finish was #7 in Malaysia 11-02 | chart_rank |

**Install curve since launch** (googleplay library app_day_ext, AppstoreSpy estimates):

- 7/17 launch, and by 8/13 only about 2,000 installs (almost no movement in the first month).

- 8/16–8/17 first jump (single day 3.5k → 4.7k), late August daily adds 4–9k, 9/3 passes 100k.

- From 9/7 it enters a plateau of 4–70k per day: 9/18 about 690k, 9/25 passes 1M.

- October shows several single-day spikes: 10/4 +220k, 10/8 +170k, 10/21 +110k; between spikes it falls back to a few thousand to tens of thousands per day.

- Data we collected ourselves after 10/29: 10/31 +118k, 11/3 +133k (both totals over several days), about 3–50k per day.

This shape of 'dormant, then step-ramps with single-day spikes in between' looks more like budget-driven acquisition (raise/add budget → installs rise; pause → they fall) than organic growth from word of mouth or content.

### 2. Competitors (same thing: clothing/skin/outfit IDs or editors for Roblox players)

Data from googleplay library app_profile, 2026-11-06.

| Clothes Skin for Roblox(CLUSTER Softtech) | Android | 2025-07 | 4.16M | **Almost identical playbook** : Productivity category, ads only, 0.59 ratings per 1K installs. |
| Skin Editor for RBX(Fromunewa) | Android | 2026-04 | 950k, +87k in 7 days, charted in 21 countries | Personalization category |
| RBX Avatar Maker (INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS KS), Skin & Clothes Creator For RBX (Big Boss Taxi), CraftBlox, Skins & Clothes Editor for RBX (Jade-Core, 2026-08-22), Skin & Clothes for Roblox (Gaming Lab, 2026-08-24) | Android | 2026-03 to 08 | Tens of thousands up to 810k | New entrants have kept arriving for 2026 years; this is a templated factory category. |

Verdict: **many competitors, and very mature** . StyleWorld is a later entrant in this category. Its 7-day new installs (345k) are the most among these, but its cumulative scale is only 1/4–1/5 of the leaders.

### 3. Growth tactics

1. **Paid acquisition (ads confirmed)** : top store review (2026-10-04,19 people found it helpful): "it doesn't have a button to make your own avatar like the ad did". Users came in from an ad, and the ad sells a feature the app doesn't have ('make your own avatar'), a classic inflated creative. Another top review (2026-10-07,55 people): "to many ads, still need email address and you cant even get the clothes". (Source: Google Play store page, scraped via Jina 2026-11-06)
    - We couldn't identify the specific ad network. The app isn't on our Meta/Google/TikTok ad library watchlist (adwatch), so not finding it there doesn't mean it isn't advertising. Based on how studios like this usually operate, the most likely channel is Google App Campaigns (Play, YouTube, AdMob network, creatives often shown inside other kids' and casual apps). Unverified.

2. **Many installs, few ratings: signs of low-intent acquired users** : only 0.67 ratings per 1K installs. Rbx Clothes Maker is 6.6, J.K Mobile is 5.9, Customuse is 85. CLUSTER Softtech, which runs the same playbook, is 0.59. Many installs and few ratings fits a profile of bought users who open the app once, see a few ads, and leave.

3. **Category arbitrage (store charts)** : most peers sit in Entertainment / Art & Design / Personalization; this one chose Productivity. The Productivity Top Free chart has a low bar in Brazil, Southeast Asia, the Netherlands and Poland, so tens of thousands of installs a day can reach the top 20–30, and once charted it picks up extra store exposure and search traffic. That's how it got onto the 19 country charts.

4. **Market selection** : charted countries cluster in Brazil, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Argentina, Mexico and South Africa, places with many young Roblox users and cheap CPI, suited to 'cheap acquisition + ad monetization' breaking even.

5. **Account matrix** : the developer email sarvangapps1@gmail.com also appears under Aakansha Studio, NovaPixel Labs, XKIX All Video Downloader (address: Ahmedabad, Gujarat), CredNova Loan EMI Calculator and other developer names. The legal rep DINESHBHAI LABHUBHAI JASANI also appears on Hoken teech (LED flashlight/keyboard), Chicken Royal and other accounts. The contact email on the store page is yet another one (maheshhapp3@gmail.com). The same account also has 'Spin Get Robux Rbx Counter' (a Robux calculator/spinner). (Source: Jina search, Google Play / AppBrain / peekly pages.) This suggests a studio batch-publishing utility and Roblox-adjacent apps across many accounts, and adding budget to whichever one runs.

6. **Content / creators / social: none found** . On TikTok (TikHub), searches for 'StyleWorld roblox' and 'StyleWorld Outfit' returned no relevant videos; on X (x-radar, 90 days) there were 0 posts; no media coverage. Online there are only APK mirror sites (Uptodown, APKPure, apk.dog), AppBrain, and Sensor Tower/Appfigures chart pages.

### 4. Why it took off

- **The demand already exists** : Roblox players are mostly kids and teens, and 'free clothes / free skins' is something this group has searched for constantly. Similar apps on Google Play add up to hundreds of millions of installs, so the demand needs no education.

- **Why users are arriving now** : this isn't a platform event. The studio started buying in August, scaled in September, and had several concentrated pushes in October (single-day +17–220k).

- **Why users stay / pay** : they mostly don't stay and don't pay. There are no in-app purchases, so it earns back cost through ad impressions. Ratings are polarized (1 stars 758, 5 stars 875, almost nothing in between), and complaints center on 'too many ads', 'can't get the clothes', and 'not what the ad showed'. Revenue comes from ad impressions via AdMob-style networks; in markets where the cost per install is below per-user ad revenue it can break even or make a small profit (ROI not verified).

### 5. Differentiation

- **No product differentiation** : it's still 'browse by category → copy the item ID with one tap → use it in Roblox', a formula peers have run for years. It even has just 1.0 version, and the description contains a typo ('Desclaimer').

- On distribution there are two differences: ① it sits in the Productivity category, where the chart bar is low; ② it spends hard in cheap countries. Those two points **are** why it's charting, but anyone can copy them, and there is no moat, so installs will most likely fall once spending stops.

### 6. Visibility and copycats

- **Visibility: still almost unknown** . No public revenue, no media or X discussion, nothing on TikTok; the only mentions are on Sensor Tower/Appfigures chart pages (for example, Hungary Productivity 2026-08-01 and Belgium Productivity 2026-10-01).

- **Copycats** : this category is a template factory to begin with. After it launched, newcomers appeared such as Skins & Clothes Editor for RBX (Jade-Core, 2026-08-22) and Skin & Clothes for Roblox (Gaming Lab, 2026-08-24.3M installs). We can't say they're copying it; it looks more like new entrants have kept arriving in this niche.

### 7. Takeaways

- The arbitrage formula: 'mature IP merchandise demand + niche category + cheap-market acquisition + ads-only monetization'. Find a merch demand kids and teens search for every day (Roblox, Minecraft, Gorilla Tag…), build the simplest content shell, put it in a low-bar category, test acquisition ROI in markets like Brazil and Southeast Asia, run multiple accounts at once, and add budget to whichever one holds.

- Risks: using Roblox's name, inflated ad creatives and heavy ad density can get apps removed or accounts banned. That's why studios like this spread the risk across an account matrix.

### 8. Still unclear

- There's no direct evidence of which ad platform was used, what the creatives looked like, what a single install cost, or the ROI.

- Whether the one-day spikes for 10/4 and 10/8 come from paid acquisition spend or from Play install counts updating in batches (an artifact of AppstoreSpy's observation interval) can't be fully separated.

- In the star distribution, the count of 2-star ratings is exactly equal to the counts of 0-star and 3-star and 4-star ratings. That looks unnatural. Whether ratings were inflated is unverified.

- Volumes for other Apps in the same matrix as "Spin Get Robux" weren't checked (they aren't in our database).
