There are no cars in "Car Knowledge": how AllCar Knowledge caught Burmese users of a delisted App
What it is A free App that calls itself car education but actually serves adult videos to Burmese users, earning from ads. Most users are Burmese migrant workers in Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and elsewhere.
Why it took off In Burmese, "ကား" means both car and movie. 3.3M-install sibling App "All Kar" was pulled from Play in August, and AllCar Knowledge, using the near-homophone name "AllCar", caught users searching for the original. Its car category had little competition, so it charted in several countries.
EHow you could follow it Don't. The only thing worth borrowing: watch for top Apps being delisted, and immediately list a substitute in a compliant category to catch the searches for the original name. Then use small languages and overseas migrant-worker audiences to build exposure on multi-country small-category charts.

AllCar Knowledge is a "car education video" App in Google Play's Automotive category. It launched in Aug 22, reached 30k installs by Nov 6, got 7 installs in the last 7,148 days, and peaked at #2 on Thailand's Automotive free chart. But reading its reviews, almost nobody talks about cars. In Burmese, "ကား" means both car and movie, and "All Kar" was the common name for a class of adult-video Apps. The biggest one in that class was pulled from Play in August, and AllCar Knowledge was listed 4 days later. Below is how it grew, and why I don't recommend following it.
A one-star review that says "no hentai"
On Sep 8, a Thai-store user gave AllCar Knowledge one star with three words: "not have hantai", no hentai. That was the stated reason for the one star.
Scrolling further, there are more reviews like this (Google Play Thailand reviews, scraped 11-06):
- Sep 15, five stars, just the word "မြန်မာအောကား", meaning Burmese porn;
- Sep 3, five stars: "very good .but. do not post.please thank", very good, but please don't share it outside;
- Sep 29, five stars: "Very Good New application to watcb", 27 people found it helpful;
- Oct 15: "ကိုကြိုက်တာရှာမရဘူး", couldn't find what I like;
- Nov 4: "where are you Cartoon";
- Sep 11, three stars: "ပုံမှန်တိုင်းမလာပဲရပ်ရပ်သွားပီးအစကပြန်ရောက်", keeps freezing and jumping back to the start.
Only one review actually talks about cars: Sep 3, "Car engine is the most important", three stars, found helpful by 34 people, and the most-liked review on the App. Another five-star review from Nov 1 just says "lashio", a town in Shan State, Myanmar.
The store page describes something entirely different: "Want to learn how cars work?", covering engines, parts, and daily safety checks, with offline viewing, adjustable font size, and night mode. The content rating is "3+".
What it actually is
I didn't download the App, so I haven't seen what's inside with my own eyes. But the reviews, the name, and the sibling Apps together make the conclusion clear: this is a Burmese "All Kar"-style adult-video App wearing a car-education shell. Inference, high confidence.
- The name is a homophone. In Burmese, "အပြာကား" literally means "blue film", i.e. porn. "All ကား / All Kar / Allcar" is the common name for this class of App. The full App name, "AllCar Knowledge-Allကားဗဟုသုတ", includes both English and Burmese spellings, so users find it whichever they search.
- One shell, a whole family. Softonic, APKPure and AppBrain list several Apps with the same name, all described as "car knowledge videos" or "educational videos": Allcarmm (100k+ installs, calling itself "a app for Car knowledge", but its Burmese subtitle reads "blue film compilation", delisted in February 2026); AllCarStore (307k installs, billed as educational videos for car enthusiasts); Allcarmm-စမူဆာ (79k installs, described as "educational videos for 18+ only").
- The developer doesn't add up. The listed developer is MCA RECOVERIES LTD. In UK company registration records, it's a car repair company in Dromore, Northern Ireland, incorporated less than a year earlier. The privacy policy is a blogspot page newly created in Aug 21, and the contact email is Gmail. It makes little sense for a Northern Irish garage to publish a Burmese video App. More likely a borrowed or bought developer account. Inference, unverified.

Why it took off: the original was delisted
The biggest App in this class was called "All Kar - အပြာကား", with "blue film" right in the name. It stayed on Play for about 4 years, with 3.3M installs and 10k+ ratings. According to AppBrain's listing page, Google Play removed it in August 2026. When I reopened its Play page in Nov 6, it showed 404. Another one, "Founddie-Msub All Kar TV" (1.9M installs), was also gone in July.
AllCar Knowledge's privacy page was created in Aug 21, and it was listed in Aug 22. The 3.3M people who had installed All Kar found their App gone. When they searched Play for "All Kar" or "allcar", AllCar Knowledge came up. In its first two weeks it averaged about 850 installs a day, the fastest climb of any period I can estimate.
This isn't the first time. Going back to 2021, documented All Kar bulk takedowns include rounds in September 2021, February, March, July, and July 2022 2023. This category runs on a loop: get banned, change the name and the shell, relaunch. AllCar Knowledge is the latest round.
Two more factors turned it from catching a wave of searches into growing steadily:
- The car category is uncrowded. Most similar Apps sit in entertainment or have explicit names. This one sits in Automotive, and in Thailand a few hundred to a few thousand daily installs were enough to reach the top five. Charting brought more store exposure.
- Users are spread across several countries. The charts it reached in Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Hong Kong are all places where Burmese migrant workers go. Myanmar's own charts don't show it, and Thailand is probably its biggest market (inference). Each country's car chart has a low bar. After Nov 2 it charted in 10 more countries, and November installs accelerated accordingly.
Searching TikTok for "AllCar Knowledge" or "all car app" turned up no videos driving traffic to it. Some people talk about a "Myanmar All Car App", but not this one. Such Apps probably circulate in Facebook and Telegram groups, and the "please don't share it outside" review points the same way (inference). I found no direct posts.
The ratings are odd too. Early on, it had only one-star and five-star ratings, with the middle three tiers at 0. By Nov 6, the Thailand store page showed some two- to four-star ratings, but five stars still made up over 80%, and most positive reviews are just the word "good". Early on the developer replied to individual reviews with "Thanks for 5 stars". Whether incentivized ratings were used can't be determined from outside. Unverified.
Where the money comes from
Ads. The store page is labeled "contains ads", and the data safety disclosure says device IDs are shared with third parties. That's the typical pattern for an ad SDK. No in-app purchases. For users who want free Burmese videos they can download and watch offline, on cheap phones and expensive data, those two things matter, which is why the description specifically mentions offline viewing.
I can't tell how much it earns. With 30k installs and ad rates for migrant-worker audiences, it's most likely a small-money business (inference). The real money comes from packaging the same shell in batches and swapping in the next one whenever one gets banned.
Who it's competing with
| Competitors | Launched | Scale | How it compares |
|---|---|---|---|
| All Kar - အပြာကား | About 2022 | 3.3M installs, 2026-08 delisted | The name is blatantly explicit and it lasted 4 years. Its delisting is AllCar Knowledge's opportunity. |
| AllCarStore-သိုင်းကားစတိုး | 2026-03 | 307k installs, about 20k added per week | The same "AllCar" shell, filed under entertainment, marketed as "wuxia films", reached 10× its volume |
| Allcarmm-စမူဆာ app | 2026-07 | 79k installs, about 23k added per week | Uses "18+ educational videos" as a shell, with its own website |
| Allcarmm (two package names) | 2025 / 2026-03 | 100k+, the old package was delisted 2026-02 | Also written "car knowledge", the predecessor of this shell |
| Nya Min Tha Mee - အပြာကားများ | 2024-12 | 460k installs | listed under Games |
(Google Play, AppBrain, Appfigures, Softonic, APKPure, early November)
It has no product differentiation. The only difference is the "car knowledge" shell. The shell does help it pass review, chart, and match search terms, but anyone can copy it, and it has already been copied into a category: at least five "Allcar" shell apps are live at the same time, and two of them are growing faster week over week than it is.
If it were you
Verdict: Skip it. It sells adult content disguised as car education, and the store listing doesn't match the content. Both violate Google Play policy explicitly. It took off because the original was pulled and this was a one-time gap. Similar apps get banned about every few months, and when that happens, every app on the account goes down with it.
Who it fits: Nobody should copy this.
Not for: Anyone who wants to build a product that stays in the store long-term, earns money, and doesn't risk getting the account banned.
There's one trick worth borrowing, applied to a compliant category:
- Watch for top apps being pulled. When an app with millions of installs is removed, its name keeps getting searched for a long time, and the need behind it is still there. Pulled tools, emulators, players, and local services from a specific country can all leave this kind of gap. Launch a compliant alternative right away. The name can make it recognizable to people searching for the original (without infringing trademarks). The first two weeks bring the most traffic.
- Minor languages and overseas migrant workers. Burmese, Nepali, and Bengali workers are spread across several countries. Each country has only a small category chart, and the barrier to entry is low. When the same package charts in five or six countries at once, the exposure stacks. Building the compliant tools this group actually needs, such as native-language news, remittance rate comparisons, document and visa reminders, or native-language video courses, uses the same acquisition logic.
How to acquire users: Store search plus small-country category charts, then sharing in Facebook groups and Telegram groups. This audience doesn't really search for apps on TikTok. They ask in groups, "Is there a good one?"
When to move: The window for catching traffic from a takedown is measured in weeks, and most of it comes in the first two weeks after the removal.
What would mean you read it wrong:
- If AllCar Knowledge is still listed and installs are still rising six months from now, that means this type of shell survives review better than it looks. Even then, that's a hole in Play's review process, not a business you can build on.
- If it and AllCarStore and the other "Allcar" shells get pulled before year-end, the category will have gone through another full cycle, and the next shell will appear within days.

Why AllCar Knowledge-Allကားဗဟုသုတ (com.allcarkw.zz) could take off
Channel: Google Play | Developer: MCA RECOVERIES LTD | Listed: 2026-08-22 | Research date: 2026-11-06
Bottom line
It isn't a car education app. It's a gray-market adult video app from Myanmar in the "All ကား (All Kar / all films)" category, wrapped in a "car knowledge" shell. In Burmese, ကား means both "car" and "film," and "အပြာကား" means "blue film," which is porn. So "AllCar" is itself a pun. In 2026 August, the category's top app, "All Kar - အပြာကား" (3.3M installs), was removed from Google Play. 4 days later, this app launched and caught Burmese users searching the store for "All Kar / Allcar" (mainly Burmese migrant workers in Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea). So its growth came from a platform event (competitor removal) + a homophone disguise to pass review + brand-term search traffic, not from the product.
1. Data (from our database)
- Installs (googleplay.app_snap, global cumulative): 10-29 23,187,11-06 30,335. In the last 7 days: +7,148,11-05 +2,247,11-06 +3,009.
- Since launch (googleplay.app_day_ext, AppstoreSpy estimates): 9-12 already has 7,121. In early September it was about 850 per day. By late September it dropped to 90–300 per day. In October it was 100–600 per day (10-04 peak about 1,850). It re-accelerated in early November, reaching about 2,247 on 11-04. Growth was fastest in the first two weeks after launch, which lines up with the mid-August removal of the top app.
- Rating: 4.2 stars from 465 ratings. The histogram shows 1 stars: 93, 5 stars: 372, and 2–4 stars all at 0 (app_snap 11-06). This bimodal distribution suggests the ratings aren't organic. Either they were incentivized, or two groups are rating differently: people who found what they wanted give 5 stars, and people who discover it's really car education give 1 stars.
- Charts (chart_rank): Only on the auto category's free chart. Thailand 10-29 #28 → 11-04 #2 → 11-06 #4. Malaysia 65 → 20. Starting 11-02, it gradually charted in Hong Kong, Singapore, Nigeria, Japan (23–34), the UAE, Germany, South Korea, the UK, France, and the US (172–199). All of these places have Burmese migrant communities, and the small category charts have low barriers. The database has no Myanmar storefront, so Thailand is the largest proxy for Burmese users.
- Monetization: The page is labeled "Contains ads," and the data safety declaration says it shares device IDs with third parties, so it likely uses an ad SDK. There are no in-app purchases (app_snap.offers_iap is empty). Revenue is unverified.
- Version: 1.0.1 (late August) → 1.0.5 (10-22 update).
2. What it actually is: the evidence
- User reviews (bilingual English-Burmese Thai and Japanese store reviews scraped live with google-play-scraper, 26+17 in total): "မြန်မာအောကား" (Burmese porn, 9-15,5 stars), "not have hantai" (no hentai, 9-08,1 stars), "where are you Cartoon" (11-04), "Very Good New application to watcb", "very good .but. do not post.please thank" (very good, but please don't spread it), "ကိုကြိုက်တာရှာမရဘူး" (can't find what I like), "ကြည့်မရ" (can't watch), "ပုံမှန်တိုင်းမလာပဲရပ်ရပ်သွား" (keeps freezing and jumping back to the start, which suggests video streaming). Only one review actually talks about cars: "Car engine is the most important."
- Name and same family: In Burmese, "All ကား / All Kar / Apyar Kar (အပြာကား) / Loe Kar" are common names for adult video apps. Softonic, APKPure, and AppBrain list a long series of same-named apps, almost all described as "car knowledge videos" or "educational videos":
- Allcarmm-အပြာကားများစုစည်းမူ (com.allcarmm.v1, developer SSruby, 100k+): Calls itself "a app for Car knowledge," but the Burmese subtitle reads "blue film collection." 2026-02 removed (AppBrain, Appfigures: 2026-02-13 removed).
- Allcarmm-အပြာကားများ (com.allcarmm.latest, listed 2026-03): The description is the same: "share car knowledge videos." The official site allcarmm.com has only a download page that says "Download from Google Play."
- Allcarmm-စမူဆာ app (com.newsamu.videos.app, Star Myanmar, listed 2026-07-30, 79k installs, +23k in the last 7 days): The Play description says "educational video library… for 18+ only." APKPure describes it as "health, consent and relationships."
- AllCarStore-သိုင်းကားစတိုး (com.allcarstore.app, developer CONSTRUCTION DG LLC, contact email [email protected], listed 2026-03-13, 307k installs, +20k in the last 7 days; Softonic describes it as "educational videos for car enthusiasts").
- Nya Min Tha Mee - အပြာကားများ (com.nyaminthamee.laymm, 460k, listed under Games).
- The developer doesn't add up: MCA RECOVERIES LTD is a Dromore, Northern Ireland company (Companies House NI742037, SIC 45200 vehicle repair, incorporated less than a year ago). The privacy page is a new blogspot created 8-21, and the contact email is a gmail address (reinsmithhuysman@). A British car repair firm publishing a Burmese-language app doesn't make sense. The likely answer is a bought or rented 'organization' developer account. New individual accounts must first pass a 12-tester closed test, while organization accounts can skip it, and a ban doesn't implicate the real operators. AllCarStore uses 'CONSTRUCTION DG LLC' with the same playbook. (Inference, unverified)
3. Why it took off
- Timing (platform event): The category leader "All Kar - အပြာကား" (com.apyarkar.apyarloezcar, listed for 4 years, 3.3M installs, 4.2 stars / 10.6k ratings) was removed by Google Play in August 2026 (AppBrain, page dated 8-18). Another, "Founddie-Msub All Kar TV" (1.9M), was also removed in July. AllCar Knowledge created its privacy page and listed 8-21 8-22, with about 850 installs per day in the first two weeks. That's exactly when users who lost the app searched the store again for "All Kar / allcar." For 2021 years this category has been stuck in a loop of "removed → relaunch under a new shell" (AppBrain shows 2021-09, 2022-02, 2022-03, 2022-07, and 2023-07 separate batches of All Kar removals).
- Store search + homophone name: the name carries both the English "AllCar" and the Burmese "Allကား", so searches in either spelling hit it. The shell is a car category and car description, which passed review and keeps it from being lumped in with entertainment apps.
- Low-bar category chart: holding #2–4 on the Thailand Top Free car chart only takes a few hundred to a few thousand installs a day. Once charted it got extra exposure, and 11-02 later it expanded to 10 country charts, with November growth accelerating.
- Why people stay: users want free Burmese videos they can download for offline viewing (the description explicitly says "download to watch offline", which matters a lot to migrant workers paying for data). Monetized with ads, no paywall.
- Social promotion: TikTok searches for "AllCar Knowledge", "all car app" and "allကား" turned up no videos promoting this app. TikTok does have a "Myanmar All Car App" hashtag page (@moohfunny, @yarzarlin1111 and others talking about the "All Car app"), so people search the term, but it doesn't match this app. Word of mouth through Facebook and Telegram groups is likely, but I found no direct evidence.
4. Competitors
| Competitors | Platform | Launched | Scale | How it differs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All Kar - အပြာကား(com.apyarkar.apyarloezcar) | Android | About 2022 | 3.3M installs, 2026-08 delisted | Named plainly "blue films" and survived for 4 years. Its takedown is AllCar Knowledge's opening. |
| AllCarStore-သိုင်းကားစတိုး | Android | 2026-03-13 | 307k, growing about 20k a week | Same "AllCar" brand shell, filed under entertainment, marketed as "martial arts films"; 10× its volume |
| Allcarmm-စမူဆာ app | Android | 2026-07-30 | 79k, +23k a week | Uses "adult education videos, 18+" as the shell, filed under entertainment, with its own site samuvideos.online |
| Allcarmm(com.allcarmm.v1 / .latest) | Android (plus a secondary iOS account) | 2025 / 2026-03 | v1 100k+, 2026-02 removed | Also written "car knowledge", the predecessor of this same disguise |
| Nya Min Tha Mee - အပြာကားများ | Android (games category) | 2024-12 | 460k | Uses a game as the shell |
| Legitimate car education (Auto Mechanic Mate 450k, 1A Auto 120k; Burmese car pages on Facebook such as "ကားအကြောင်းစုံ" with 110k followers) | Android / Facebook | — | — | Actually covers cars, and not the same users |
5. Differentiation
There's no real product differentiation. Its only difference from the others: it uses a "car knowledge" shell and sits in the car category (most peers sit in entertainment, or have names that are blatantly explicit). The shell is genuinely why it took off: first, it's easier to pass review and survives longer; second, the car category has little competition, making a top-5 spot in Thailand easy to get; third, "AllCar / Allကား" is exactly what users search for. But anyone can copy this advantage, and it has already become a category of its own.
6. Visibility and copycats
- Few people know about it yet: no press coverage, and nothing mentioning it shows up on X or TikTok; there are only auto-generated pages on APK aggregators (Softonic, APKPure, AppBrain, CNET Download). Revenue is not public.
- Copycats: this whole category copies itself. At least 5 "Allcar / All Kar" shell apps are live at the same time (see table above).
7. What to borrow (and the risks)
- Watch for "top apps that get taken down": after a takedown the brand-term search volume remains, so a compliant replacement that catches the same searches in the first two weeks gets the biggest traffic. This works in compliance-sensitive niches too (for example, delisted tools, emulators, VPNs).
- Minor languages + overseas migrant workers: users are spread across Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Korea and Singapore. Each country is only a small category chart, the bar is low, and charting in several countries at once amplifies exposure.
- Risks: mismatched content and metadata, adult content, and violations of Play policy (sexual content, deceptive metadata). This category gets banned about every few months on average, so people use rented organization accounts, one-off blogspot privacy pages and rotating package names. Not recommended to copy; only borrow the move of "catching the traffic after a takedown".
8. Still unclear
- What the app actually contains (I did not install the APK; the conclusion comes from reviews, sibling apps and Burmese word meanings. High confidence, but I have not seen the screens directly).
- Whether the operators are the same group behind AllCarStore, Allcarmm and Samusa (they all use the "Allcar" brand and developer accounts registered through nominee companies; no hard evidence).
- Ad revenue and eCPM; why growth accelerated in early November (possibly a competitor being taken down, Facebook group forwarding, or just organic lift from charting).
- Are the reviews being incentivized? (The 2–4 star histogram is all 0, which is suspicious.)
