Daily Money: Expense Tracker · Terapiando Foundation

# An ad shot 3 months before launch, under a borrowed developer name: Daily Money is one product from a budget-app factory

**What it is** A general-purpose expense tracker for logging income and spending, budgeting, and tracking loans. No in-app purchases; it earns only from ads. The developer name is borrowed from a US mental health nonprofit.

**Why it took off** The day after launch, a BVI company that batch-pushes template apps started running Google video ads in 90 countries, buying cheap traffic in Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, and South Asia. It is one of 10 budget-app templates from the same factory, which runs 60 accounts and 109 apps. Whichever one pays back gets more budget.

**C** **How you could follow it** Don't copy a budget-app template and buy traffic in Latin America. That lane is already crowded with factories. What's worth learning is the math: test many SKUs across your own accounts, buy only in low-cost countries, put budget behind whatever pays back, and go deep on local language and cash and loan use cases to raise retention.

Grade C: you can learn a full paid-acquisition playbook here, but the product has zero differentiation. In the past six months there have been at least 51 similar templates, and the top one pulls hundreds of thousands of installs a week. The factory spreads account-ban risk across a matrix of borrowed accounts, which followers can't replicate. It also stopped buying in mid-October and daily installs were cut in half, so its numbers may not look that good either. Few people know about it yet

An ordinary budget app that hit Google Play on 17 August. Two and a half months later it had 164k installs and showed up in the finance charts of Mexico, Argentina, and a string of small Central American countries. It has no founder, no real description, and it is indistinguishable from any budget template on your phone. It grew because of a complete machine: a British Virgin Islands ad company started video campaigns in 90 countries the day after launch, the app was published under a borrowed "US nonprofit" developer account, the same template was mass-published under different names, and screens full of ads brought the money back. Below: how this machine runs, where it ranks in the factory, who it competes with, and what you should and shouldn't take from it.

### A video titled "Loan 200526 1"

On May 19, 2026, a YouTube channel called Lương Vũ uploaded a video titled only with a string of numbers: "Loan 200526 1". The channel had 120 subscribers and 4 videos in total, comments were turned off, and there was no description. By Nov 6, the video had 214k views.

Three months later, on 17 August, Daily Money: Expense Tracker went live on Google Play. On 19 August, the day after launch, an advertiser called Tripsoft Global Ltd. started running Google ads for it using this video on YouTube, the Play Store, and the display network. The ads targeted 90 countries, including Angola, Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Venezuela, plus the US and several European countries. The campaign ran until mid-October 16 (records from Google's Ads Transparency Center, scraped by appsxray, 11-06).

210k views, 120 subscribers, a title that looks like a filename, and it was posted three months before the app existed. This is not a video made for viewers. It's an ad creative, and most of the views are almost certainly ad impressions (inference, high confidence). The word "Loan" in the title also suggests it was originally made for a lending app. Daily Money happens to have a "loan records" feature. Shoot the creative first, launch the app later, and reuse the same creative across different apps. That is the factory's method.

### What it is

The first line of the store page: "a simple money manager and expense tracker for organizing daily spending." It logs income and spending, sets monthly budgets, shows category pie charts, and tracks who owes you money and whom you owe. There is no bank sync, no subscription, and no in-app purchases; it is labeled "contains ads." The version has been 7 1.0.4 since October, and it has barely been updated since launch.

The developer listed on the store page is **Terapiando Foundation** . This is a real mental health nonprofit based in Draper, Utah. It received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in October 2025, and its website offers mental health talks for Spanish-speaking communities (ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer). It has nothing to do with the budget app.

Scroll down to "About the developer": the legal entity is now a different company, **NOTORIOUS BRANDS SERVICES LIMITED** , at Flat 903 in an apartment block in East London. It was only incorporated in the UK in Feb 24 2026, and its registered business is "advertising agency" (UK Companies House). The contact phone number is a US number, the email is a Gmail address, and the website and privacy policy sit on a free Netlify subdomain, moneytrackerw9y31ru.netlify.app.

The same "Terapiando Foundation" name is attached to 6 apps in total: an emoji keyboard, expense tracking, origami, tarot and horoscope, AI face swap, and prank calls. They have nothing to do with each other. The emoji keyboard is also being advertised by Tripsoft. It has 469k installs, and 7 days ago it added 134k (Google Play install counts, 11-06).

The most likely explanation: someone completed Google Play's "organization developer account" verification using this nonprofit's identity. Organization accounts skip the two-week closed test with 12 individual testers that personal accounts must do. The account was then sold or leased to an app factory (inference; there are public listings selling "verified organization developer accounts," but how this specific account changed hands is unverified).

### Where it ranks in the factory

The website subdomain is a clue. The naming pattern "keyword + w9y/w10y + number + letters.netlify.app" matches about 109 apps and 60 developer accounts on Google Play, with roughly 90M installs in total and +7M over the last 6.15 days. Launches run from November 2025 to October 2026, and every contact email is a Gmail address. This is matched by domain pattern, so a few unrelated apps may be mixed in. The developer names are just as varied and mostly borrowed from small US organizations: a tennis association, a prosthetics clinic, a Minnesota health charity, an animal rescue ranch, a medical billing company, and one German foundation.

The budget-app group alone has 10 apps. They're nearly the same template with different names and accounts:

| App | Displayed developer | Launched | Total installs | past 7 days |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Budget Diary - Expense Tracker | MONO CO. LLC | 2025-12-11 | 2.98M | – |
| MoneyWise: Finance & Budget | SSon Studio | 2026-06-01 | 1.09M | +42k |
| Money Manager: Expense Planner | LUONG HONG QUANG | 2026-07-27 | 668k | +10k |
| Money Manager: Expense Tracker | ST Studio Inc (SSI) | 2026-06-29 | 536k | +291k |
| Money Tracker: Expense Manager | Fergus Games | 2026-08-03 | 436k | +19k |
| Money Manager: Budget Keeper | BUSSID STUDIO | 2026-08-01 | 235k | +34k |
| **Daily Money: Expense Tracker** | **Terapiando Foundation** | 2026-08-17 | 164k | +20k |
| Money Planner: Budget Manager | AGS-Stiftung | 2026-07-01 | 137k | – |

(Google Play installs, 11-06.)

Daily Money sits in the middle-to-lower part of this group. The factory's approach is clear: one template is split into many SKUs, each attached to a different account, all bought at once. Whatever pays back gets more budget, and whatever doesn't gets stopped. Daily Money's ads stopped in October 16, possibly because it didn't clear the bar (inference).

There is one more matching detail. The uploader of the ad creative is Lương Vũ, and the account list includes a name LUONG HONG QUANG, both Vietnamese names. The operators are likely a Vietnamese team, with Tripsoft acting as the distributor that handled the buying (inference; the relationship between the two has not been verified).

### How the traffic was bought

The install curve follows the spend curve. August 30 cumulative 1,706 installs, September 15 32k, October 4 92k, October 27 145k, November 6 164k. From mid-September to mid-October it averaged two to four thousand a day, with a few days jumping by ten or twenty thousand (October 4 +19k, third-party daily install estimates). After Google ads stopped in mid-October 16, daily installs fell to one or two thousand but did not reach zero: November 1 +5,798 and November 3 +9,971, possibly from ad networks outside Google that aren't visible from outside (Google Play install counts, 11-01 to 11-06).

What kind of buyer is Tripsoft? It was incorporated in the British Virgin Islands in 2022. On Google it has run 24,550 ads in total, 24,535 of them video, from May 2024 until now, promoting hundreds of template apps with formulaic names: AI image generators, AI calorie counters, 4K wallpapers, DJ mixers, PDF readers, GPS photo stamps, and several cash-loan landing pages (appsxray advertiser page, 11-06). An ad-fraud research paper, AdLens, lists it as a major advertiser of "deceptive software ads". On Reddit, someone complained that it "keeps uploading disgusting ads."

Where are the buyers? Based on install estimates, about 30% are in Mexico, 12% in Venezuela, and 9% in Peru. The chart positions cluster in the finance charts of small countries like Guatemala, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, and the Dominican Republic (appsxray, 11-06). The reviews visible on the store page come from MOHAMMED ALQADDI, Ayyaz Mehmood, and waseem khan, suggesting the Middle East and South Asia. The common thread is that each install is cheap, and the finance category has a low bar to chart, so the spend also picks up some organic installs 50.

Apart from ads, it has no other channel. Searching X for the past two months turns up not a single post mentioning it. The only pages you can find are automated stats sites like AppBrain and Similarweb.

### How the money comes in, and what users say

Ads only. The first review on the store page, from September 14:

> "The worst app starts in my whole life, ads attacks you everywhere. No sense, no respect."

The other two reviews say "Nice" and "Excellent," each with two or three helpful votes.

The shape of the ratings says even more. In October 29, of its 561 ratings, 1 stars were 0, 2 stars were 93, 3 stars were 0, 4 stars were 0, and 5 stars were 467. From November 2 onward, 87 extra 4-star ratings appeared, and the 3-star and 1-star counts stayed at 0. Organically built ratings don't look like this, and from outside there is no way to tell how they were produced. The store now shows 4.4 stars (Google Play store page, 11-06).

The expense-tracker category is friendly to ad-only monetization. Users open it daily to log spending, so there are many ad impressions, and finance ads pay more per impression than utility ads. How much the app actually earned has not been published and can't be calculated. Judging from the mid-October stop and the halving of daily installs, its books probably don't look that great (inference).

### Who it's competing with

Quite a few, and most are bigger:

| Product | Launched | Scale | How it differs from Daily Money |
|---|---|---|---|
| Money Manager(Realbyte) | 2013 | 23.2M installs, +7k in the last 55 days | An established real product with full features and a paid tier |
| Wallet(BudgetBakers) | 2011 | 13.5M | Syncs with banks and has a subscription |
| Mobills / Fintonic | Around 2013 | 11.2M / 4.14M | A local product rooted in Brazil, Spain, and Mexico |
| Monefy / Money Lover / Spendee | 2011–2014 | 2.92M–10.9M | Has a brand and organic traffic |
| Money Manager: Expense Planner(SLOW DOWN APP GAMES) | 2026-10 | 22 days since launch, 368k installs, +7k in the last 362 days | Same template-plus-paid-acquisition model, but its weekly volume is 18 times Daily Money's. It ranks ahead of it on the Argentina and Mexico finance charts. |
| Money Tracker & Wallet(Shin Keuk) | 2026 | 1.01M, +7k in the last 295 days | Same as above |
| Daily Loan - Money Tracker(Abdo M) | 2026 | 1.6M, +7k in the last 220 days | Same as above: loan-focused expense tracking |
| Mercado Pago, Nu, and bank apps from various countries | — | Holds the top of the Latin American finance charts | Pulls transaction records automatically, so no manual entry |

(Google Play installs, 11-06.)

At least 51 finance apps launched in the past half year, with titles containing expense / budget / money manager / gastos. Together they have 13.4M installs, and 7 days ago they added +2.24M. Daily Money added +20k in a week and ranks around #22 among them. This niche is already crowded with people who know how to run paid acquisition, and it's a copycat niche itself.

Very few people know about it: no founder, no press coverage, nobody talking about it on social networks. But the "template expense tracker app + low-cost-country paid acquisition" playbook itself is not new at all in the paid-acquisition crowd.

### If it were you

**Bottom line:** This isn't a product opportunity, it's one sample from a paid-acquisition business. What you can learn is the math; copy an expense-tracker template and run it into Latin America, and you'll run into dozens of factories doing the same thing with more accounts and bigger budgets than you.

**Who it suits:** Teams already doing Google / YouTube app promotion, with an existing monetization pipeline, who can test dozens of creatives and SKUs at once, and who can calculate exactly how much one install costs per country and how many ads one user will see.

**Who it doesn't suit:** Indie developers who want to build a good product and grow slowly through store search and word of mouth. Apps like this have no organic traffic; when the ads stop, installs drop. The top review is "ads attacking you everywhere," and users won't stick around to spread the word for you.

**How to do it:**

- Copy its structure, not its accounts. Split one template into multiple SKUs and test them simultaneously, put budget only behind the one that pays back; pick a category people open every day; and target countries where one install is cheap and the chart bar is low. All of this can be done with your own company and your own developer account.

- Borrowing accounts, borrowing someone else's D-U-N-S verification, violates Google Play developer policy. The factory spreads ban risk across 60 accounts; you have only one, and once you're linked, everything gets pulled.

- If you want better retention than it gets, go where it doesn't: localize thoroughly (Spanish and Portuguese UI and currency), match real local scenarios (cash-heavy daily spending, borrowing between friends and family, installment and cash-loan repayment reminders), and make users still open it in month two. Higher retention lets you earn several times more per ad impression at the same CPI.

**How it gets users:** Paid acquisition only. YouTube video ads, in-store ads on Play, plus ad networks like AppLovin and Mintegral. Prepare creatives, test several at once, and start spending the day the app goes live, like it does. First test one or two small countries (the tier of Guatemala, Peru, Dominican Republic) to measure cost per install and ad revenue per user, then scale only once the math works.

**When to get in:** There's no clear window. This business isn't about timing; it's about daily spend math. The real variable is how hard Google cleans up borrowed accounts and low-quality ads. Once mass bans start, the factories clear space, but the same risk lands on followers too.

**Signs you've misread it:** After two or three weeks of testing, cost per install exceeds one user's ad revenue over 30 days; or daily installs drop to zero once you stop spending and retention collapses within a week; or the top 50 finance chart spots in your target countries are all the same template. Any one of these means the math doesn't work for you.

Where users come from

- **Verified** **Google Ads video (YouTube / Play / Display network)** : Ads Transparency (scraped by appsxray): advertiser Tripsoft Global Ltd. (BVI) ran 2026-08-19 to 10-16 video ads, 2 in total, across 90 countries. This advertiser has 24,550 ads in total, pushing hundreds of template apps.

- **Verified** **Incidental organic traffic from low-barrier small-country category charts** : appsxray: 18 countries, 35 chart positions, concentrated in Central American finance charts like GT/VE/CR/NI/PA/DO; in our library, ar finance free chart #88.

- Inferred **ad networks other than Google (AppLovin/Mintegral/Meta etc.)** : after the Google ads 10-16 stopped, 11-01 and 11-03 still each had installs jump 5–10K, source not identified

- Inferred **Rating operations / prompted reviews** : The rating distribution has only 2-star and 5-star reviews (4-star added later), unlike a natural distribution (app_snap).

## Why Daily Money: Expense Tracker (com.budget.finance.money.expense.manager) took off

> Channel: Google Play · Developer display name Terapiando Foundation · Store launch 2026-08-17 · Cumulative global installs as of 2026-11-06: 164,464 (googleplay library)

### Bottom line

This isn't a story of a product taking off; it's **one SKU in a template-app factory** : a generic expense-tracker template + a borrowed Google Play organization developer account + a BVI paid-acquisition company (Tripsoft Global Ltd.) concentrating YouTube/Google video ads into 90 low-cost countries + AdMob ad revenue to recoup. The installs were bought; the product has no differentiation; within its factory's peer SKUs, it's on the smaller side.

### 1. Data: how the installs grew

- Cumulative installs: 2026-08-30 1,706 → 09-15 32,134 → 10-04 91,565 → 10-27 144,745 → 11-06 164,464 (AppstoreSpy estimates + googleplay library app_day_ext / app_day).

- The curve is a classic paid-acquisition shape: from mid-September to mid-October, daily averages of 2,000–4,000, with occasional single-day jumps of over ten thousand (10-04 +18,698,10-08 +8,390,10-12 +8,139, AppstoreSpy estimate, averaged across observation intervals). After Google ads stopped on 10-16, daily installs dropped to about 1,000–2,000, but never hit zero (jumps of 11-01 +5,798 and 11-03 +9,971, suggesting it may still be spending on channels other than Google; unverified).

- Last 7 days +19,709 (googleplay library app_profile, 2026-11-06).

- 662 ratings, only 0.4% of installs. The distribution is odd: 2026-10-29 is [1-star 0, 2-star 93, 3-star 0, 4-star 0, 5-star 467], and from 11-02 it became [0, 87, 0, 87, 435] (googleplay library app_snap). There are only 2-star and 5-star reviews (4-star added later), which doesn't look natural. Reviews visible on the store page come from names like MOHAMMED ALQADDI, Ayyaz Mehmood, and waseem khan; one reads "ads attacks you everywhere" (Play store page, read 2026-11-06). Users appear to be from South Asia / the Middle East, and like the Latin American charts, this is cheap traffic.

- Charts: our library only shows it on the ar finance free chart at 88–96, and mx at 173–197 (googleplay library chart_rank). appsxray shows 18 countries and 35 chart positions, concentrated in finance charts of small Central American and Andean countries (GT trending #15, VE #20, CR #25, NI free #26, PA #31, DO #34…). Estimated install share: Mexico about 30%, Venezuela 12%, Peru 9.3% (appsxray.com/app/com.budget.finance.money.expense.manager, 2026-11-06). These are all small markets with very low chart barriers.

- The version has stayed at 1.0.4 (10-07 update), with essentially no iteration after launch. No in-app purchases (offers_iap = False, ad_supported = True).

### 2. Where users come from: paid acquisition, with solid evidence

- **Google video ads** : Ads Transparency records captured by appsxray: advertiser **Tripsoft Global Ltd.** (AR09229487864125849601, verified, registered in BVI) ran 2 video creatives for this app (same YouTube video dHEeg1y9_1Y), first run on 2026-08-19, stopped on 10-16, reaching **90 countries** (Angola, Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Venezuela…, including the US and some European countries). The first spend day was day 2 after launch.

- **Who Tripsoft is** : A BVI company, registration number 2104070,2022-07-26 (i-bvi.com). On Google it has **24,550 ads in total, 24,535 of them video** , running continuously since 2024-05, with 10 ads in the last 6,143 days (EU/TR) (appsxray advertiser page). It pushes hundreds of apps with templated names: "ai art generator," "ai calorie tracker," "4k wallpaper," "DJ Mixer," "PDF reader," "GPS Photo Stamp," "Obby Rumble". Developer names vary (Hit Studio, etc.), and it also runs ads to loan landing pages like fastpayly.com / quickpayly.com. The academic paper AdLens lists Tripsoft among the major publishers of "deceptive software ads" (racro.github.io/papers/adlens.pdf); a Reddit r/YoutubeADS thread complains it "keeps uploading disgusting ads." The app it lists under its own name is a short-drama app, Mobile Short Dramas & Series. Conclusion: Tripsoft is a **concentrated paid-acquisition operator** , not this app's "developer."

- Our own googleads library doesn't list it (not found). Spend on TikTok / Meta / AppLovin / Mintegral can't be checked (appsxray only covers Google).

- **No content / community / media channel** : x-radar searched "Daily Money Expense Tracker" and found 0 results in the last 60 days. The only web pages are automated stats pages like AppBrain, Similarweb, AppAgg, and appsxray.

### 3. Who the "developer" is: a borrowed account + a template factory

- The developer name shown in the store is **Terapiando Foundation** , a real 501(c)(3) nonprofit psychological counseling organization in Draper, Utah, tax-exempt since 2025-10, EIN 33-3174503 (ProPublica Nonprofit Explorer; its website terapiandofoundation.com runs mental health talks for Spanish-speaking communities). It has nothing to do with the expense app.

- But the legal entity in the Play store "About the developer" section is **NOTORIOUS BRANDS SERVICES LIMITED** (E3 3YS, Headwater Point 903, London, UK company number 17051021,2026-02-24, SIC 73110 "advertising agency"). The contact phone is a US +1 262 number, the email is Gmail (dennimadi675819@gmail.com), and the website and privacy policy are on the free Netlify subdomain moneytrackerw9y31ru.netlify.app (Play store page; Companies House search results).

- Inference: this uses a real US nonprofit's D-U-N-S number to get verified as an "organization developer account" (org accounts skip the 12-tester closed testing requirement that personal accounts face), and the account is then sold or rented to an app factory. Public posts offering "verified organization developer accounts for sale" exist (Facebook etc.). The exact mechanics of the account trade **are unverified** .

- 6 unrelated apps under the same account: Emoji Keyboard, Daily Money, Origami, Tarot Horoscope, AI Face Studio, Prank Call (Play developer page). The same account's Emoji Keyboard is also bought by Tripsoft (since 10-06), with 469k installs so far and +7k over the last 134 days (googleplay library).

#### Factory scale (the most important finding here)

The official-site domains follow the same naming pattern: "keyword + digits + letters + digits.netlify.app". Matching that pattern in our library turns up **109 apps, 60 developer accounts, 90.6M installs total, +7M over the last 6.15 days** , listed between 2025-11 and 2026-10. Contact emails **are all Gmail** (googleplay library, 2026-11-06; pattern match, a few unrelated apps may be included). Finance category: 19 apps, 16.6M installs. The developer names are the same borrowed small US institutions and companies: GUT TENNIS ASSOCIATION INC, SUMMIT CITY PROSTHETICS & ORTHOTICS, Coalition for Health Equity Minnesota, A Courageous Voice, RESCUE RESOURCE RANCH, EXPERT MEDICAL BILLING LLC, AGS-Stiftung…

The "w9y / w10y" bookkeeping template family alone has 10 apps (serial w9y26, 28, 29, 31, 32, 35, w10y3, 8, 11, 14):

(googleplay library, 2026-11-06)

In other words: one bookkeeping template, renamed, paired with a borrowed account and a new Netlify subdomain, published in bulk. Whichever gets the best ROI from paid acquisition gets more budget. Daily Money sits in the middle-to-lower part of this group.

### 4. Competitors

**Established bookkeeping apps (the ones that actually build products)** , googleplay library 2026-11-06:

- Money Manager (Realbyte): 23.2M installs, +7k in 55 days, listed in 2013

- Wallet (BudgetBakers): 13.5M, +35k, 2011

- Mobills (Brazil): 11.2M, +5,631,2013

- Monefy: 10.9M, +18k, 2014

- Money Lover: 8.83M, +4,742,2011

- Fintonic (Spain / Mexico): 4.14M

- Spendee: 2.92M

**Same-category template and paid-acquisition apps** : in our library, finance apps listed within 180 days with expense / budget / money manager / money tracker / spending / gastos in the title number 51, with 13.4M installs total and +7M over the last 2.24 days. The fastest growers: Money Manager: Expense Planner (SLOW DOWN APP GAMES, listed 22 days ago, 368k, +362k in 7 days, ranked above it in the ar/mx free finance charts, ar #54, mx #55), Money Tracker & Wallet (Shin Keuk, 1.01M, +295k), Daily Loan - Money Tracker (Abdo M, 1.6M, +220k). Daily Money has +19.7k in 7 days and ranks around 22 in this group.

**Big-platform features** : the income and expense stats built into Google Wallet, Mercado Pago, Nu, and bank apps. On the LatAm finance charts, the top spots are mostly wallets, banks, and cash-loan apps.

**How it differs from these** : compared with the established players, it has fewer features and no sync or subscription, and only adds a "loan records" module (in line with the "Daily Loan" and "Loan Calculator" series from the same factory, possibly riding search terms like "préstamo", unverified). Against template peers, there is basically no difference; it is the same template.

### 5. Why it took off

1. **Paid acquisition** : from day 2 after launch, Tripsoft ran YouTube/Google video ads in 90 countries. 9–October averaged 2–4k installs a day, matching the spend window exactly. After 10-16 stopped spending, growth dropped by half (appsxray; app_day_ext).

2. **Cheap traffic** : the spend went to Latin America, South Asia, Africa, and Southeast Asia, where the finance chart bar is low. It is easy to reach the top 50 in small Central American markets, and it also picks up some organic traffic from those chart spots (appsxray chart positions).

3. **Factory economics cut costs** : template reuse, free Netlify sites, Gmail, and borrowed organization accounts bring the development cost of each SKU close to zero. One publisher allocates budget across 109 apps (googleplay library).

4. **AdMob payback** : it has ads and no in-app purchases, and user reviews complain directly that "ads are everywhere". The bookkeeping category helps because users open it every day, which means many ad impressions. Finance keywords also carry higher eCPMs than utility keywords (industry common knowledge, not verified for this app's actual revenue).

5. **Disposable accounts** : borrowing organization accounts spreads the risk of bans across 60 accounts.

### 6. Differentiation

At the product level there is **no differentiation** . The real differentiation is in the publishing and growth machine: an account matrix built on borrowed organizations, concentrated paid acquisition, cheap multi-country traffic, and ad monetization. It works because of that machine, not because of the product.

### 7. Visibility and copycats

- **Visibility: almost no one knows about it** . No founder, no public revenue, no media or X coverage; it only appears on automated stats pages like AppBrain, Similarweb, and appsxray. The name Tripsoft has only come up in an AdLens paper and in Reddit complaint threads.

- **Copycats** : strictly speaking, it is itself a copycat. The same factory's w9y/w10y series already had earlier, larger SKUs such as MoneyWise (06-01) and Budget Diary (2025-12). Outside the factory, SLOW DOWN APP GAMES, Shin Keuk, Abdo M, and EVGO I are pushing the same template bookkeeping apps. The category is already crowded.

### 8. What others can borrow

- What is actually worth copying is the **math** : split one template into N SKUs and test paid acquisition on all of them at once, only adding budget to those with positive ROI. Pick categories people open every day (bookkeeping, keyboards, wallpapers) to maximize ad impressions. Only buy traffic in countries with low CPI.

- The risk must be stated clearly: borrowing or buying other people's organization D-U-N-S accounts violates Google Play developer policy, and once accounts are linked, they can all be pulled at once. Researchers have characterized Tripsoft's materials as "deceptive". The proper approach is to run the same "many SKUs + low-cost small-language ad buys" under your own entity and your own accounts, and add real local differentiation to the product (Spanish UI, local bank / cash-loan bookkeeping scenarios), rather than copying the borrowed-account setup.

### 9. Still unclear

- Whether Tripsoft and NOTORIOUS BRANDS are the same operator, or a publisher and an agency; whether the accounts were bought, rented, or run under a managed service.

- Whether there is ad spend outside Google (AppLovin / Mintegral / Unity / Meta / TikTok), and where the jump after 11-01 and 11-03 stopped spending came from.

- Actual eCPM, retention, and per-user payback, i.e. whether ROI is really positive. Given that growth halved after spending stopped and 10-16 stopped, the budget may also have been cut because ROI was not good enough.

- The 109 figure comes from domain-pattern matching, so a few unrelated apps may be mixed in.
