"Your ex just texted": a Spanish-language subliminal audio app that used its own TikTok account to bring an old English-market category to Latin America

What it is A Spanish-first AI manifestation app: you write a wish, it generates a two-to-three-minute audio that narrates it as a "future memory," and you can also record it in your own voice. Annual subscription $29.99.

Why it took off The official TikTok account started posting "get back together, get prettier" sample audios a month before launch. A few videos with millions of views pulled young women across Latin America who speak Spanish straight into the store. English competitors barely made content for the Spanish-speaking market.

BHow you could follow Stop making a Spanish version. Go for a language it hasn't touched, starting with Brazilian Portuguese: launch the same way, with a TikTok account posting sample audios daily before the app goes live, local pricing, and fix the thing that annoys users, which is that audios can't be generated after you subscribe.

Grade B: the playbook is clear and almost nobody knows about it, and there are nearly no similar products in Portuguese-speaking markets. But the product has no moat, Spanish already has new copycats, the users are mostly teens who can't afford to pay, and the revenue pool is small. Success depends entirely on whether you can make a viral video. Few people know about it yet

Decrétalo lets you write a wish, and AI turns it into a first-person, "as if it already happened" two-to-three-minute narration that you can record in your own voice. The feature already exists from more than a dozen companies in the English market. What it got right was the language and the audience: young women in Latin America who speak Spanish. It launched on iOS in Mexico first, the official TikTok account drove the early growth, and on Google Play it reached 34k installs in 3 and a half months. Below: what it is, where the traffic came from, where the money comes from, who the competitors are, and why the Portuguese market is still open.

A video with 910k views

On Aug 16, the official account @decretalo26 posted a video with just one line of Spanish on screen:

"I listened to this audio with no expectations... after so long in silence, his name finally appeared on my screen. 😭📱✨"

The video got 910k views and 93k likes (TikTok, 11-06). The video itself is a sample audio; after hearing it, viewers want "the one written just for me," so they search the store for Decrétalo. 11 days later, a five-star review appeared in the Mexico App Store:

"I love that you can make audios in your own voice! And these audios really work. My ex texted me!! 😭"

In the same storefront, a one-star review from Oct 25 shows the other side: "Why do these apps all charge? Please make it free, there are lots of teens, including me, who can't afford a subscription." Put the two reviews together and you have the product: the users are young women in Latin America, the motivation is getting back together and looking better, and they're willing to pay but think it's expensive.

What it is

Three steps: write your goal in your own words → generate a personalized audio that narrates the goal as a "memory from the future" → listen every day when you wake up, commute, or go to sleep. Audios run 2–4 minutes, with synced subtitles, plus a ready-made audio library (wealth, love, "reshaping your mindset," updated weekly). Premium annual subscription US$29.99, Play in-app price $9.99–24.99; Mexican users say it's "about 500 pesos a week."

The name Decrétalo means "decree it into being" in Spanish, a common term in the Latin American manifestation community. The store names are split by language: the Spanish-speaking storefronts use "Decrétalo: audios subliminales," and the English storefront uses "Subliminal Maker - Decrétalo."

The developer has two names: on iOS it's Epicurist Labs, Inc, and on Play it's 3 Comma Studio LLC. The latter also made the K-pop AI chat app Fingerheart and Kpop Quiz (1,266 ratings in the US store). I found no direct evidence that they're the same team, but the business has always been aimed at young women.

(8–October figures are third-party estimates, daily numbers aren't reliable; 11-05 is the Google Play store count)

Ratings on iOS (App Store, 11-06): Mexico 271, US 141, Colombia 39, Peru 25, Argentina 23, Ecuador 20, Chile 16, about 600 total across Spanish-speaking storefronts. It has never charted anywhere.

34k installs, 1,174 ratings, a rating rate of about 3.5%, well above a typical app, so the app probably prompts users to rate (inference).

Where the traffic came from: age the account first, then launch

The official account is the main engine. @decretalo26 was created in May 19, a month before the iOS launch. Two videos from Jun 15 and 19 that only carried the hashtags #manifiesta and #decretaloapp got 830k and 3.49M views, right in the week of the iOS launch in Jun 17. In Jul 24 it posted a video telling followers "the Android version is on Play now." By 11-06 the account had 118k followers and 3.1M likes.

August was the explosion: 21 posts with about 4.9M views combined, and between Aug 10 and 21 six or seven posts landed between 40 and 910k views. Play installs jumped from Aug 21 to 22, and the timing matches (inference, no attribution data).

The video formula is fixed: a first-person affirmation on screen, with a sample audio underneath. The themes are a few strong emotional categories:

  • Getting back together: "he'll regret it," "I'm his first choice," "his name appeared on my screen"
  • Looking better: "green eyes," "small waist," "my eyes are healthy and strong" (10-2.12M views)
  • Body: "I have a pear-shaped body, and it's exactly what I want"
  • Vibe: "I'm a human mermaid, my aura says it all"

The video works as a free preview: people who watch it want "the version made just for me."

Creators take over. In September the brand posted 28 videos for 2.14M views, then slowed sharply in October to about 390k. Around the same time, several Spanish-language manifestation creators with about 60K followers started promoting @Decrétalo: @soyy_piola 11 "manifesting with Gemini AI and Decrétalo together" 51k views, @dulcebelleza 58 "you can manifest in two minutes" 66k views, and an English creator, @manifestingwithmillie, who said "on Decrétalo it's called 'his messages'" 127k views. Unclear whether these were paid deals. After the official account slowed down, Play daily installs fell from 300–500 a day to around 250.

No one mentions it on X, no media coverage, and I couldn't find any Reddit discussion. Whether it ran paid ads isn't visible.

Where the money comes from, and what users say

You hit a subscription paywall as soon as you open it. Revenue isn't public; a third-party rough estimate puts iOS at under $5K a month and under 5K downloads (low confidence).

The reviews, positive and negative, are concentrated (Mexico App Store):

  • Praise: "you can make it in your own voice," "my ex texted me."
  • Too expensive: "It charges me about 500 pesos, to buy something you can make yourself in 15 minutes once you know what you want to put in." (9-18)
  • Product problems: "My audio got deleted for no reason, I re-recorded it and it got deleted again" (8-31); "I already subscribed, tried for a week and still can't generate the affirmation" (10-20); "Is there a way to add audios to a playlist?" (9-22)

The "make it yourself in 15 minutes" comment is accurate: TikTok has plenty of tutorials on making subliminals in CapCut. What the app sells is "no writing, no editing needed."

Who's competing: English is crowded, Spanish just got followers, Portuguese is empty

In features, Decrétalo does nothing others can't: AI scripts, voiceover, record-your-own, background music. SelfMade and VibeSesh have it all too. The difference is that it's actually making content in Spanish. Equivalent English competitors have almost no ratings in the Mexico store.

Others are starting to follow in Spanish: Oct 15's "Sublime: Audios Subliminales" and Oct 31's "Inscrybe: Crear Subliminales." Searching "audios subliminales" in the Mexico App Store, both rank near the top, but they have only 0 (11-06) ratings.

Portuguese is still empty. 11-06 searched "audios subliminares" in the Brazil App Store: #1 VibeSesh has only 13 ratings, the rest are single digits or 0. Decrétalo has only 2 ratings in the Brazil store, because it doesn't offer Portuguese.

Why it took off

  • Warm up accounts first, then launch. A video with a million views is ready the week you launch. When Android goes live, just announce it on the account.
  • The video is the product. One affirmation plus a sample audio clip. No feature explanations needed; after watching, you know what it gives you.
  • Pick the right crowd. In Latin American TikTok, "manifestation / subconscious / reconciliation" is a huge teen-girl content niche. English apps can't break in, and this one is the first to speak Spanish there.
  • The buying motive is emotional. Exes, looks. Some people pay even though it's expensive.

What the outside world knows

Almost no one knows about it: revenue isn't public, the founder isn't visible, ~90 days and 0 posts on X, no press coverage. But two or three new apps are already eyeing the Spanish keywords, so the window there is narrowing.

If it were you

Bottom line: Copying it for Spanish is already half a step late. More worth doing is a language it hasn't reached, starting with Brazilian Portuguese, using the same "own TikTok accounts + video as the audition" approach. Grade B: the playbook is clear and few people know about it, but the market is small and the users are teens who can't afford much, so success hinges almost entirely on whether you can grow a TikTok account.

Who it's for: Native Portuguese (or other non-English) speakers who understand the manifestation and subliminal communities, ideally able to cut short videos daily. Technically, wiring up an LLM for scripts plus a TTS / voice cloning tool is enough.

Who it's not for: Anyone who doesn't want to make content and hopes to rely on store search or paid acquisition (its Play curve follows the videos; when videos stop, installs drop). Anyone targeting the English market. Anyone uneasy about selling manifestation.

How to do it:

  • Copy the product and you can ship in two weeks: write your goal → generate a first-person "future memory" narration → optionally record in your own voice → add background music and synced captions. Name it with the local manifestation-community lingo (a Portuguese word similar to "decretar"), and put the category keyword "subliminal" in the store title.
  • Fix the three things reviews complain about: keep audio from disappearing (store it in the cloud), make sure generation always works after subscribing, and let people build playlists.
  • Price for each local market: the yearly plan at $29.99 gets called "500 pesos" in Mexico, and would be harder still in Brazil. Try a weekly plan, pay-per-use, or a cheaper yearly plan. Give the first audio for free so people hear their own version before paying (inference).

How to get users: Start the account a month before launch, posting daily: a first-person affirmation as the visual, with a 20–40 second sample audio underneath. Rotate topics across reconciliation, looks, and body, and test several visuals for the same line. Once one or two pass 100K views, launch, and announce it on the account the launch week. When the account slows, hire Portuguese manifestation creators with tens of thousands of followers; one-off creator posts sell better than a brand's own hard ads.

When to get in before: Launch before January 2027. New Year is the peak for "what I'll manifest this year"; the topic is hottest on TikTok from late December to January. If Decrétalo or VibeSesh starts seriously making Portuguese content, the window closes.

Signs you've misread it: ① @decretalo26 or other accounts start posting Portuguese videos, and Decrétalo's Brazil ratings climb. It's coming for it personally. ② Your account has run one or two months with dozens of posts and none has passed 100K views. This approach depends on hits; without hits there's no traffic. ③ You get traffic but almost no paying users. That means this audience truly can't pay. Change the crowd (for example, older women into "wealth / career" themes) and try again. ④ Its own daily Play installs keep falling and stall around 40K for months. That means the category's ceiling in Spanish is this low, and Portuguese won't be much bigger.

Why Subliminal Maker - Decrétalo (com.decretalo.app) took off

Research date 2026-11-06. Data from our googleplay / appstore databases, the iTunes API, TikHub (TikTok), Jina search, and web page text. Anything unverified is marked "unverified."

One line

Decrétalo is an AI "manifestation / subconscious audio" generator for young women in Latin America: you write a goal, and it generates a first-person, "as if it's already true" 2–4 minute narration, which you can also record in your own voice. It took off because the official TikTok account makes its own content: each video is itself a sample affirmation audio (looks, reconciliation, body), plus several mid-tier Spanish-speaking creators promoting it. The product sits in the Subliminal Maker category, which is already crowded in English, so the product itself isn't that different; the real difference is language and audience: Spanish, Latin America, teenage girls.

1. Data

  • Play installs: 2026-11-05 cumulative 33,770, +2,035 in the last 7 days, 1,174 ratings (googleplay app_profile / app_day). Has never charted (n_countries_now = 0).
  • Install curve since launch (googleplay library app_day_ext, AppstoreSpy estimates):
    • 2026-07-21 launched on Play; about 900 installs in Aug 12.
    • Up about 2,900 in two days, August 21–22, from 2,664 to 5,598. About 10k at month's end.
    • September about 300–500 a day, slowing to about 250–450 a day in October. About 33.7k cumulative in early November.
  • iOS first: 2026-06-17 launched in the Mexico store, developer Epicurist Labs, Inc (Apple developer id 1472196217; the Play developer is 3 Comma Studio LLC). Rating counts (iTunes lookup, 2026-11-06): Mexico 271, US 141, Colombia 39, Peru 25, Argentina 23, Ecuador 20, Chile 16, Spanish-language stores combined about 600. Not launched in the Spain store.
  • Pricing: Premium yearly subscription US$29.99 (store description reposted by soft112). Play in-app purchases $9.99–24.99. Mexican user reviews say it "costs 500 pesos." appstoretracker estimates iOS monthly revenue at <$5K and monthly downloads at <5K (third-party estimate, unverified).
  • Review profile (iOS Mexico store RSS): five-star reviews are mostly "made audio in my own voice" and "my ex texted me." Negative reviews focus on "why pay, many teens can't afford it," "500 pesos for 15 minutes of something you can make yourself," "audio disappeared mysteriously," and "paid for the subscription but generation fails." Users are mainly teenage girls; willing to pay but find it expensive.

2. Where users come from: TikTok, mainly own accounts, secondarily creators

Official account @decretalo26 (TikHub, 2026-11-06): 118k followers, 3.1M likes, 137 videos (59 pulled via the API); bio reads "Decrétalo APP OFICIAL ⬇️."

  • Account started before launch: account created 2026-05-19, posted videos tagged #decretaloapp daily from June 9–19; two of them got 3.49M and 830k views, lining up with the iOS launch on June 17. In July 24 it posted a video announcing "Android version now on Play Store."
  • August was the breakout: 21 posts in August, about 4.9M views total. One reached 910k views (8/16), another 530k (8/13), and 8/10, 8/11, 8/18, 8/21 each got 40–510k. Play installs jumped about 2,900 between August 21–22, which matches the timing of this wave of videos (correlation inferred; no attribution data). 8/20 also posted a tutorial: "20 seconds to make subconscious audio in your own voice."
  • Video formula: the visual is a first-person affirmation, paired with a sample audio. Topics: looks ("green eyes," "slim waist," "my face gets prettier every day"), reconciliation ("he'll regret it," "I'm his first choice"), body, and hair. The video is itself the product's audition; after watching, people want "their own version" and download. This approach plugs directly into TikTok's teen-girl content niche around "subliminal / manifestation / reconciliation."
  • October official posting went quiet: October had only 8 posts, about 390k views total; September had 28 posts, 2.14M. In the same period, daily Play installs fell from 300–500 to around 250, in line with the silence.
  • Creator promotion (TikHub search "decretalo app"):
    • @soyy_piola11 (65k followers): "MANIFESTEMOS con Gemini AI y DECRETALO APP", 51k views (9/23), posted another one 10/30.
    • @dulcebelleza58 (64k followers): posted several in October, like "Esta APP @Decrétalo te ayuda", 60k views; "2 minutes to manifest", 66k views.
    • @manifestingwithmillie (29k followers, English): "It's called "His Message" on Decrétalo", 127k views (10/1).
    • Smaller accounts such as @kailethpamela.
    • All of these are from 9–October, and look like paid or traffic-swap deals (unverified). This matches the recall card's note that creators push the Descárgala aquí link.
  • Other channels:
    • X: searching "decretalo" in x-radar turned up 90 posts in the last 0 days.
    • Press: Jina search only returned store pages and APK mirror sites. No press coverage, no Reddit discussion.
    • Paid ads: no evidence found. Our ad library only tracks products on its list, so not finding anything doesn't mean it didn't spend.
    • Store search: the English-language listing was renamed "Subliminal Maker - Decrétalo", the Spanish one is "Decrétalo: audios subliminales", with ASO built around the category keywords for each language. iOS "customers also bought" now includes similar apps like SelfMade and Whispurry, so it has entered the same competitive set in store search.

Copycats: since 2026-10, several new apps with Spanish names have appeared, competing for the same Spanish keywords:

  • Inscrybe: Crear Subliminales(Armando Jimenez,2026-10-31)
  • Sublime: Audios Subliminales(Morgan Kievits,2026-10-15)
  • SelfMade switched to a Spanish name in the Mexico store.

None of these have gained traction yet (0–4 ratings each). There's no proof they're targeting Decrétalo, but the keyword overlap is obvious.

4. Why it took off

  1. Build an audience first, then launch: @decretalo26 created the account a month before the iOS launch, and had a video with a million views the week it launched. By the time it hit Play, it already had a fan base, and 7/24 a video announced "Now on Android."
  2. The videos are the product demo: each video is a sample of "glow-up / recomposition" affirmations, aimed straight at teen girls in the TikTok subliminal and manifestation scene. After a run of videos with 40–900k views in August, Play installs rose about 2,900 over two days.
  3. Spanish-language gap: the English subliminal maker market already has 10 players (VibeSesh, Hopium, SelfMade...). Back then, the only one generating AI audio that uses your own story or voice in Spanish was this app, so young Latin American users, from TikTok content to the app itself, had no other option.
  4. Paywall hook: generates first-person "future memory" audio from your personal goals, and can use your own voice. The purchase motive is emotional (an ex, appearance). Users complain about the price, but some five-star reviewers still subscribe. The rating-to-install ratio of about 3.5% suggests rating prompts are being used.
  5. Creator boost: between 9 and October, several Spanish creators with 60k followers and one English creator promoted it, filling the gap left by the official account going quiet.

5. Differentiation

  • Not new in features: AI script writing, TTS narration, your own recording, background music. SelfMade and VibeSesh have all of it. Its "first person, like a future memory" narrative is only a small difference in packaging.
  • The real difference is localization: the Spanish brand name Decrétalo ("decree it into reality", a common term in Latin American manifestation circles), a Spanish-language content account, and Spanish-speaking creators. It took a category that had already been proven in the English market and brought it to the Latin American Spanish-speaking market.
  • Is that difference why it took off?: Yes. The English-language competitors with the same features have almost no ratings in markets like Mexico (VibeSesh Mexico 15, SelfMade 4), while Decrétalo has 271 there.

6. How many people have seen it

Not much public awareness yet:

  • Revenue is not disclosed. TrustMRR and the founders have not posted about it.
  • 0 posts about it on X, no press coverage.
  • The only third-party figure is a rough appstoretracker estimate (<$5K/month).
  • The developer uses two entities: iOS is Epicurist Labs, Inc, and Play is 3 Comma Studio LLC (contact emails [email protected], [email protected]). 3 Comma Studio also runs Fingerheart (a K-pop AI chat app, contact [email protected]) and Kpop Quiz (launched 2020 years ago, US iOS 1,266 rating). The team has been building apps for young women for a while.

7. Takeaways

  • Proven English category + Spanish/Portuguese localization: the brand name uses a trending word in the target language (decretar), and the store name also targets the English category keyword (Subliminal Maker).
  • Start an owned TikTok account before launch: each video is a product sample you can listen to. Pick high-emotion topics: recomposition, glow-up, body.
  • Use mid-tier creators to fill the gap when your own account goes quiet: creators with tens of thousands of followers work well in the subliminal / manifestation content scene.
  • Annual subscription priced for the US: users complain about the price, but teens still pay. Consider regional pricing or a weekly subscription to lift conversion.

8. Still unclear

  • Revenue and paid conversion: no public data at all, and appstoretracker's estimates are low-confidence.
  • Whether it runs TikTok / Meta ads: our ad library does not track it.
  • Whether the creator deals are paid, and what revenue-share terms they use.
  • Whether Epicurist Labs and 3 Comma Studio are the same people: both entities are in California and the terms are governed by California law, but no direct evidence was found.
  • Whether the October official-account silence is a strategic shift (for example toward English; @manifestingwithmillie is a signal) or just a slowdown.
  • The Play curve is AppstoreSpy's estimate, so single-day numbers shouldn't be taken as fact.
