# "Search Luda Tech on Play, then search Sim inside it": how an Ethiopian shell app got 29k installs through Facebook short videos

**What it is** An Ethiopian developer's "tech news" shell app. Users type codes given in videos to find tips like free international calls and merging SIM cards, and it makes money from ads.

**Why it took off** Many new Facebook Reels accounts post tip videos in Amharic and Oromo. They include no link, only telling people to search the app's name on Play. The hook is how hard it is for Gulf migrant workers to call home and how expensive data is in Ethiopia. This group rotates a dozen shells, and now it's Luda's turn.

**C** **How you could follow** Don't copy the Ethiopia angle, it's already saturated. If you're in other overseas labor communities (the Philippines, Bangladesh, Nepal), you could borrow the playbook of "short local-language video → search the name in the store → search the code inside the app" and build something that actually works.

Grade C: the traffic-driving playbook is worth studying, but the Ethiopia niche already has seven or eight matrices and top apps at 3M installs. A single shell likely earns under $10k a month. Following it means knowing the local language, getting into the communities, and staying on the right side of Play's policies. Hardly anyone knows about it yet

Data (updated daily) · first launch 2026-09-08 · 11-07 installs 28,885

Android · Total installs worldwide

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations). Google's detail page only refreshes install counts every other day, so a flat day doesn't mean nobody installed.

Luda Tech is an Ethiopian-developer app on Google Play. Its store page says it does "daily tech news." It got 28,885 installs in its first two months, then 7 in the last 13,313 days, and in Nov 6 it hit #4 on the Ethiopia Entertainment Top Free chart. The app itself is barely a product. Users come in from Amharic and Oromo short videos on Facebook, then search for a "code" inside the app for tricks like free international calls, merging SIM cards, and speeding up your connection, and they watch ads while they browse. Below: how this playbook works, the pipeline behind it, and whether you should copy it.

### A video with 210 views

On the morning of Oct 12, 2026, a new Facebook account named Zufan Koo posted a Reel titled "How can merge sim" with the tag #oromoo. The video shows how to open Google Play, search "Luda Tech," install it, then type "Sim" into its search box. As of today, the video has 210 views and 9 likes.

Ten days later, on the morning of Oct 22, a page named Dare Dare posted another one, a step-by-step guide to downloading the updated app through Luda Tech. It has 2,900 views, 228 likes, and 38 comments. That page had posted two videos the previous afternoon, one with 7,800 views. Another from Oct 30 reached 30k views.

Now the install numbers for Luda Tech: on Oct 20 3,881, then on Oct 21 it jumped by 9,806 in a single day.

None of these videos include a download link. They all tell you to search the name in the store yourself. Individual videos get few views, hundreds to a few thousand, but there are many posting accounts, mostly newly created pages with numeric IDs, tagged with things like #Habesha #Ethiopia #FBReels.

### What it is

The store page has just one line: "Keep up with the latest in tech anytime with a small daily dose of news." It's listed under Entertainment, contains ads, has no in-app purchases, and was published on Sep 8. It has only 1.0.0 version so far. No rating, no reviews.

The real use is in the videos, not on the store page. The app has a search box, and the video tells you which code to type to find a given "tip." Codes found include Luda's "Sim," and "Pgr" from Hahu Tech, another shell run by the same group (the search returns a chat tool called Hulugram). The hooks are much the same: free international calls, hidden cameras, secret recording, free data, the new imo version, merging SIM cards.

The money comes entirely from ads. The privacy policy lists four ad networks, AdMob, AppLovin, Unity, and StartApp, plus Firebase, Facebook, and OneSignal. The policy is copied from a template, its effective date reads Jul 27, 2021, and the contact email doesn't match the developer. The third-party app analytics site AppGoblin estimates about 5,700 monthly active users and under $10k in monthly revenue (a model estimate).

### Why these people are searching

The charts it appeared on show who the users are. In Nov 6, it was #4 on the Ethiopia entertainment free chart, and charted in Somalia 96, Saudi Arabia 104, the UAE 118, Oman 124, and Qatar 186 (AppWinners). About half is domestic Ethiopia, half Gulf countries.

The Gulf countries have large populations of migrant workers from Ethiopia and Eritrea, and Saudi Arabia and the UAE have long restricted internet calling apps like WhatsApp. "Call home from any country for free" is not a gimmick for them, it's a problem they face every day. Taf Tech, another shell from the same group, puts it plainly in its Tigrinya videos: "Call Eritrea from any country for free, download Taf Tech," tagged #saudi #dubai. For the domestic Ethiopian half, the hook is expensive data and slow connections.

The demand is real, but the shell app doesn't fulfill it. The tools that actually make calls are imo, Botim, JusCall, and ethioCall. The shell only intercepts users on their way to finding them. Users have to flip through more pages to find the code, which means more ad impressions.

### Where the users come from: a three-step funnel

The whole acquisition process has three steps:

1. **Post "tip" videos on Facebook Reels** in the local language, with titles that pose a concrete problem (how to merge SIM cards, how to call home for free).

2. **Give no link, tell people to search the name on Play.** This sidesteps platform rate limits on outbound links. Play also records these installs as "search installs," which boosts the search ranking for the term and its chart position. That's why the names are short, easy to spell, and don't collide with others: Luda, Hahu, Taf, and Nigat are all words in Amharic or Tigrinya.

3. **Search the code inside the app.** The code works as a natural attribution: whichever video's code gets searched most shows which video is driving people in.

The install curve also comes in waves: Oct 21 +5,925, Oct 31 +6,420, Nov 3 +3,320, Nov 6 +2,356, with several days in between at 0 (Google Play public install counts). It doesn't look like organic search. It looks like batches of videos going out. I found no sign of paid acquisition: nothing on TikTok, nobody mentioning it on X, and no media coverage at all.

One more trick: similar apps usually sit in the Education category, but Luda sits in Entertainment. Entertainment charts in Ethiopia have a low bar, so a few thousand search installs can push an app to #4, and charting brings in a bit more organic traffic.

### Behind it is a pipeline

Luda isn't an isolated app. The developer page for ETHIOSOFT (an individual, Ashete Adere, Ethiopia) lists 12 apps: Luda Tech, Hahu Tech, Nigat Pro, Suit Tech, Flip Tech, Mereb Plus, Adulis Pro, Time Tech, Ero Tech, Gursha Tech, Maleda Tips, Finote Tech. All are named "[Something] Tech / Pro / Tips" with nearly identical descriptions.

The package prefix `com.etvacancy.*` originally belonged to an Ethiopian job board. It's now spread across at least three developer accounts, with websites and support emails mixed together (Luda's support email carries another account's name). Google Play public install numbers, 11-06:

| Account | Main shells | Total installs |
|---|---|---|
| ETHIOSOFT | Hahu Tech 229k, Finote Tech 194k, Luda Tech 29k, Nigat Pro 13k | About 460k |
| Etclicks Developers | Pro Tech 381k (from 2023-12), Shashe 208k, Taf Tech 46k | About 640k |
| SparkClick Soft | Daily Tech 74k, Loop Tech 36k, Nexa Tech 28k | About 140k |

Roughly 1.24M installs combined. The rhythm is each shell gets pushed for a month or two, then replaced with a new name. Hahu and Finote were still at the bottom of Saudi Education charts in October. Daily Tech dropped from #56 to #169, and Taf Tech fell off the chart. Luda and Nigat Pro are the current batch being pushed. Rotating keeps the traffic targets fresh, and one shell being taken down doesn't drag the others with it.

The playbook isn't limited to Ethiopians either: Hahu Tech's traffic videos have appeared on a Nepali-language page, since Nepali workers in the Gulf have the same need.

### Who it's competing with

This street is already crowded. On Google Play, at least seven or eight matrices run the "Ethiopian / Eritrean-language short-video traffic + tech-tip shell + ads" model (Google Play public install numbers, 11-06):

| Matrix | Lead app | Scale | Luda vs. the rest |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ardi Soft | Info Tips, Prime Tech, Hill Tech | 15 apps, about 3.05M | The leader of this space, starting at 2025-05. Also sells free international calls via codes; its video names users "in the UAE or Saudi Arabia" |
| Etclicks Developers | Pro Tech, Shashe, Taf Tech | About 640k | Another account from the same group, focused on Tigrinya |
| Tekopia | Rivo Tech, Abay Jobs, Ethio Tips | About 630k | Mixes job listings with tech tips |
| TAF ZONE | NorPro, Numan Pro, ZenPro | 13 apps, about 520K | Started 2026-04, batch-opening shells from the same template |
| NextClick Labs, Hagere Techs, Dima Pro, etc. | Tech News Et, Gabi Pro, Afiya Pro | 100k to 260k each | A small matrix from the same template |

The top account, Ardi Soft, is several times the size of Luda's matrix. Compared with them, Luda has no product difference; the only difference is that it sits in the Entertainment category.

### If it were you

**Quick take:** Don't copy Luda itself. This niche in Ethiopia is already crowded and pays little. What's worth learning is the free traffic playbook: short videos tell people to search the app name in the store, then search codes inside the app, plus the habit of finding demand inside platform restrictions.

**Who it's for:** People already inside an overseas labor or diaspora community who speak their language and can keep posting local-language short videos on Facebook. For example, Filipino, Bangladeshi, Nepali, or Indonesian workers in the Gulf share the same pain points (restricted VoIP calls, expensive calls home, pricey data), and Gulf users have higher ad rates than local Ethiopian users.

**Who it's not for:** People who don't speak the language or can't get into the community (this playbook depends on native-language videos, and translated-sounding content gives it away); people who want a long-term product and reputation (shell apps get swapped every month or two anyway); and anyone who cares about their Play account. These apps sit on the edge of Play's "minimum functionality" and "misleading claims" policies, and they send users to unknown APKs, so account bans are only a matter of time.

**How to do it:** To do it cleanly, build something that truly meets the need and borrow only the distribution method. For example, make a working "send money home cheaply" guide or price-comparison tool for a labor group, clearly showing which VoIP services work locally and what they cost, with frequent content updates. Use a short name, the local language, and something easy to spell, and put it in a low-competition category.

**How to get users:** Follow its three steps: local-language Reels, one specific problem per video; no links, so people search the name on Play; and a code in the app for each video so you can see which ones bring volume. Start with a few accounts and test a dozen-plus videos, and check whether installs track your posting rhythm.

**When to move:** There's no clear window. This slice of Ethiopia is already late. Other labor-language markets don't yet show this many copycat matrices, so whoever moves first takes the name and chart spots.

**Signs you've misread it:** If these Ethiopian matrices get pulled in bulk over the next few weeks, Google has likely caught on to the playbook, and switching languages won't go far. Conversely, if Tagalog, Bengali, or Nepali videos start appearing with the same "search Some Tech on Play" pitch and a string of renamed shells, the playbook travels, but you'd be a step behind.

Competitors

| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ardi Soft (Info Tips / Prime Tech / Hill Tech, etc.) | Android | 2025-05 | 15 apps in library, 3,051,915 installs combined | Same playbook at 6× the scale; placed in Education, sells free international calls via codes (CC1 / GBL / VCR), explicitly naming UAE and Saudi users |
| Etclicks Developers(Pro Tech / Shashe / Taf Tech) | Android | 2023-12 | 4 apps, 637,923 combined | Another account from the same group (shares the com.etvacancy package name, website, and email), focused on Tigrinya and Eritrean users |
| Tekopia(Rivo Tech / Abay Jobs / Ethio Tips) | Android | 2025-10 | 4 apps, 634,015 combined | Mixes job listings with tech tips |
| TAF ZONE (NorPro / Numan Pro / ZenPro, etc.) | Android | 2026-04 | 13 apps, 524,538 combined | Batch-opened shells from the same template, placed in Education |

| VoIP tools like imo, Botim, JusCall, ethioCall | Android | Years | ethioCall 123,130 installs; imo and Botim in the hundreds of millions | Real tools that meet the need; the shell apps just route users over and earn ad money in between |

Where users come from

- **Confirmed** **Facebook Reels code-search traffic videos (small account matrix)** : multiple Amharic / Oromo Reels tell people to search "Luda Tech" on Play, then search "Sim" after install (facebook.com/61594248801636/videos/1489546673004901, Daredand/videos/1295602466025322); in the same matrix Hahu Tech says to search "Pgr", and Taf Tech says "free calls to Eritrea"

- **Confirmed** **Play store search + category charts** : the videos give no link and only say to search the name; placed in Entertainment, 11-06 hit #4 on the Ethiopia Entertainment Top Free chart (AppWinners)

- **Confirmed** **Multiple accounts, rotating shells** : ETHIOSOFT, Etclicks Developers, and SparkClick Soft share the com.etvacancy prefix and website; the ETHIOSOFT developer page has 12 apps from the same template, and when an old shell drops off the charts, a new one is pushed

- Inferred **Paid acquisition** : nothing found in ad libraries, and no TikTok results

## Why Luda Tech showed up

> Channel: Google Play | Developer: ETHIOSOFT (individual Ashete Adere, Ethiopia) | Store launch 2026-09-08 | Single version 1.0.0, with ads, no in-app purchases | Research date 2026-11-06

### Bottom line

Luda Tech has no real product. It's a "code entry" shell app: the page says "daily tech news," but the actual use is Amharic / Tigrinya / Oromo short videos on Facebook Reels telling people to "search Luda Tech on the Google Play store, install it, and search a code inside"; the results are "tricks" like free international calls, hidden cameras, free data, and new versions of imo. Users see ads while viewing content (AdMob / AppLovin / Unity / StartApp). It took off because of this **short video → store search → code search in app** traffic playbook, plus a **matrix of at least three developer accounts from the same group and a dozen-plus renamed shells** . It's not about the product. The users are Ethiopians locally and Ethiopian / Eritrean workers in the Gulf. Gulf states restrict VoIP calls, so "free calls home" is a hard need for them, and it's the best hook for these traffic videos.

### 1. Data: how it grew

| Date | Total installs | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-16 | 3,599 | googleplay library app_day_ext (AppstoreSpy estimate) |
| 2026-10-20 | 3,881 | Same as above |
| 2026-10-21 | 9,806 (5,925 that day) | Same as above: first wave of volume |
| 2026-10-22 | 12,756(+2,950) | Same as above |
| 2026-10-27 | 15,568 | Same as above |
| 2026-10-31 | 21,992 (10-29→10-31, +6,420 total) | googleplay library app_day |
| 2026-11-03 | 25,312 | Same as above |
| 2026-11-06 | 28,885; +7 in the last 13,313 days | Same as above |

- The curve comes in bursts (jumps around 10-21, 10-31, and 11-06, flat in between), which matches the rhythm of batches of traffic videos, not organic search.

- Charts (our library only tracks 30 storefronts, not Ethiopia): Saudi Entertainment Top Free 70 (10-29) → 186 (11-02) → 85 (11-03) → 89 (11-06); UAE 88 → 191 → 73 → 115.

- AppWinners (third party, 11-06): **#4 on the Ethiopia Entertainment Top Free chart** , plus charted in Somalia 96, Saudi Arabia 104, UAE 118, Oman 124, Qatar 186, 6 countries total (https://appwinners.eu/app/android/com.etvacancy.luda/luda-tech ). So the main battleground is local Ethiopia; the recall card's claim of "only Saudi and UAE" comes from our sampling of just 30 storefronts, not from the real picture.

- No rating, no reviews (ratings are empty in our library, and AppGoblin also shows 0 rating); AppGoblin estimates about 5.7K monthly active users, under $10k monthly revenue, 100% ads (https://appgoblin.info/apps/com.etvacancy.luda ).

- The store page's Data safety section says location may be shared with third parties. The privacy policy is copied from a template (effective date 2021-07-27, contact email khadiga22990@gmail.com, which doesn't match the developer), and the listed SDKs include AdMob, Firebase, Facebook, Unity, OneSignal, AppLovin, and StartApp (https://privecy.etvacancy.com/luda-tech/ ).

### 2. Growth tactics: where users come from

#### 2.1 Facebook Reels "code search" traffic (confirmed, main channel)

Google's summaries of Facebook videos show many videos using the same playbook:

- "Users open the Google Play store, search 'Luda Tech', install it, then use its search function to search 'Sim'……"— Oromo video *How can merge sim #oromoo* (https://www.facebook.com/61594248801636/videos/1489546673004901/ )

- "Search and install an app called 'Luda Tech' on Play, open it and search……" (https://www.facebook.com/zobaier.ahammad/videos/1927263141588045/ )

- "Step-by-step guide to downloading the updated app through the Luda Tech platform" (Dare Dare, [www.facebook.com/Daredand/videos/1295602466025322/](https://www.facebook.com/Daredand/videos/1295602466025322/); ብሩህ ተስፋ, [www.facebook.com/61553834784063/videos/3229010254153463/](https://www.facebook.com/61553834784063/videos/3229010254153463/))

- "Download the app from the Luda Tech store on Google Play" (summaries from pages like Kanapress / MOGE MEDIA)

- "Tricks" videos like speeding up internet, upgrading Google DNS, and merging SIM cards, tagged #Habesha #Ethiopia #FBReels, from several newly created pages with numeric IDs such as 61583043712010 and 61590507748641.

Other shells in the same matrix use the same playbook:

- **Hahu Tech** : "Tells viewers to download Hahu Tech from the Play store and search 'Pgr' inside to find Hulugram Messenger" (https://www.facebook.com/welcome.nepal.716/videos/1479755937305708/ — this is a Nepali-language page, showing the playbook has also been sold to Nepali workers in the Gulf).

- **Nigat Pro** : "Introduces NIGAT PRO, which can secretly record video on Android," posted by several pages at once (Smart Ethio, Fana Technology, etc.).

- **Taf Tech** (Etclicks Developers account, same com.etvacancy package prefix): Tigrinya-language videos saying "Make free international calls from any country to Eritrea — download Taf Tech", "Find hidden cameras — download Taf Tech" (#saudi #dubai), "To watch the full video, search Taf Tech on the Play Store".

These hooks (free international calls, hidden camera finder, free data, new imo / merged SIM) are all aimed at Ethiopian and Eritrean workers in the Gulf — the UAE and Saudi Arabia have long restricted VoIP calls like WhatsApp, so "call home for free" is what they actually search for.

#### 2.2 account matrix + name/skin swapping (confirmed)

- ETHIOSOFT's developer page lists 12 apps: Luda Tech, Hahu Tech, Nigat Pro, Suit Tech, Flip Tech, Mereb Plus, Adulis Pro, Time Tech, Ero Tech, Gursha Tech, Maleda Tips, Finote Tech — all named "X Tech / X Pro / X Tips" with nearly identical descriptions (https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=8638268796898292790 ).

- The same `com.etvacancy.*` package prefix (etvacancy.com was originally an Ethiopian job site) is split across at least three developer accounts (googleplay library app table):
    - ETHIOSOFT: Hahu Tech 228,785, Finote Tech 194,051, Luda Tech 28,885, Nigat Pro 12,785
    - Etclicks Developers: Pro Tech 380,620 (from 2023-12), Shashe 208,491, Taf Tech 45,976, Bogi Pro 2,836, 637,923 total
    - SparkClick Soft: Daily Tech 74,095, Loop Tech 36,387, Nexa Tech 27,573
    - They share the websites hahuplus.com / addispro.xyz / loyedtube.com / etvacancy.com, and mix the etclicks@ / etclicksdev@ emails (Luda's support email is etclicksdev@gmail.com). The library shows roughly 1.24M installs in total.

- Cadence: each shell gets pushed for a month or two, then replaced with a new name. Hahu and Finote were still at the tail of Saudi education charts at the end of October (176–194), Daily Tech fell from 56 to 169 names, Taf Tech dropped off the chart from 62; Luda and Nigat are the current batch being pushed. New shells rotate the traffic destination and spread takedown risk.

#### 2.3 store search (the landing point for traffic, confirmed)

The videos don't give a link; they tell users to "search the name on Play." That gets recorded as search installs, which boosts keyword ranking and category chart position (#4 in Ethiopia's entertainment chart). Charting also brings a bit of organic traffic. Names are kept short, easy to spell, and distinct from others (Luda, Hahu, Taf, Nigat are all Amharic / Tigrinya words).

#### 2.4 What I couldn't find

- No evidence of paid acquisition found (this kind of product isn't on our Meta / TikTok ad library list). Searching "Luda Tech" on TikTok returns nothing; nobody discusses it on X; no media coverage.

- Whether the Facebook pages posting the videos are owned by the same people, paid promoters, or both is unclear. Most pages are newly created numeric IDs with a few hundred views per post, looking more like a **matrix of small accounts** .

### 3. Competitors: who else does the same thing

"Ethiopian / Eritrean short-video traffic + tech-tips shell apps + ad monetization" is already a crowded niche (googleplay library, 2026-11-06):

| Matrix | Apps in library | Total installs | Earliest listing | Luda vs. the rest |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ardi Soft (Info Tips, Prime Tech, Hill Tech, Suke Plus, Batu Plus…) | 15 (AppAgg says 32 total) | 3,051,915 | 2025-05 | The leader in this space; same "search code" playbook (Info Tips videos say to search codes CC1 / GBL / FR1 / VCR for free international calls, and name "people in the UAE or Saudi Arabia" directly). |
| Etclicks Developers (same group) | 4 | 637,923 | 2023-12 | Another account from the same group |
| Tekopia (Rivo Tech, Abay Jobs, Jira Tips, Ethio Tips) | 4 | 634,015 | 2025-10 | Mixes job listings with tech tips |
| TAF ZONE (NorPro, Numan Pro, ZenPro…) | 13 | 524,538 | 2026-04 | Same template, accounts mass-produced |
| NextClick Labs (Tech News Et, M Tips…) | 6 | 256,806 | 2026-01 | Same as above |
| Hagere Techs (Gabi Pro, Duna Pro…) | 5 | 227,293 | 2026-03 | Same as above |
| Dima Pro / Dawdo Technology(Afiya Pro) | 1 / 2 | 144,262 / 99,111 | 2026-06 / 04 | Same as above |
| ETHIOSOFT (the core) | 4 (12 apps on developer page) | 464,506 | 2025-08 | — |

The layer that actually serves the need (users come for these): VoIP tools like imo, Botim, JusCall, plus the legit ethioCall (123,130 installs, on Saudi telecom charts). The shell apps just route users to these tools or their APKs and take an ad cut in between. No major player has a ready-made feature for this; the Play Store itself is the "search entry," so the shell app is effectively a store inside the store.

**Against competitors, does Luda have any differentiation? Basically none.** The only angle is the category it's filed under: most rivals sit in EDUCATION, while Luda and Taf are in ENTERTAINMENT, a chart with lower barriers in Ethiopia and the Gulf, making it easier to reach the top (#4 in Ethiopia). That's a small charting trick, not product differentiation.

### 4. Why it took off

1. **The demand is real and ongoing** : large numbers of Ethiopian / Eritrean workers in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Gulf restrictions on VoIP, expensive and often unreliable data at home in Ethiopia. Hooks like "free international calls / free data / hidden camera" convert well (Info Tips videos literally say "if you are in the UAE or Saudi Arabia").

2. **Distribution is very cheap** : Facebook Reels is the mainstream content channel for Ethiopians at home and in the Gulf; mass-producing new accounts posting "tips" videos costs almost nothing, and landing on Play search also helps with keyword and category chart rankings.

3. **Matrix rotation** : three accounts and a dozen-plus shells rotating in turn; when an old shell declines or gets taken down, swap in a new name. Luda is just the one currently pushed to the front of this pipeline.

4. **Monetization** : pure ads, mediated across several networks (AdMob / AppLovin / Unity / StartApp). Users click through several pages hunting for the "code," so ad impressions pile up; Gulf users' ad rates are higher than those of Ethiopian users.

### 5. How many people have seen it

Still barely known. No public revenue figures, no media or major X accounts have covered it, and TikTok search returns nothing. Only store-data sites like AppWinners, AppGoblin and AppBrain index it automatically. But **this model is already overused in Ethiopian developer circles** : at least seven or eight matrices run it, and the leader Ardi Soft is at 3M installs.

### 6. What others can learn

- **The three-stage "short video → search the name on the store → enter a code in the app"** : no links, users search on their own. This sidesteps platform throttling of outbound links, gets installs recorded as search installs to boost rankings, and the in-app code tells you which video brought each user (effectively a built-in attribution code).

- **Find demand created by platform restrictions** : e.g. Gulf VoIP limits or expensive Ethiopian data; pick hooks around these pain points.

- **Category arbitrage** : place apps in category charts with low barriers (here, the entertainment chart in small countries), making it easier to reach the top.

- The risks need to be stated too: this type of product essentially violates Play's "minimum functionality / deceptive promotion" policies, and it can route users to dubious APKs (spy-camera or cracked-app types). What's worth borrowing is the distribution method, not the content.

### 7. Still unclear

- The recall card says Luda is a bundled version of the Telegram / YouTube channel "LUDA TECH": not verified. The LUDA TECH Facebook page found (Addis Ababa, 113 followers) and YouTube channel (@luda-tech, 5226,7 subscribers) are both very small, with unclear connection to this app, likely just a name collision. loyedtube.com has an anti-bot check, so the body text can't be read. The Telegram account @loyedofficial is a channel selling game cheats and seems unrelated to this app.

- The internal search code "C10" mentioned in the recall card: original video not found. Codes found are 'Sim' (Luda), 'Pgr' (Hahu), and Ardi Soft's CC1 / GBL / FR1 / VCR.

- What the video-posting pages have to do with the developers (same people, hired, or paid per install) is unclear.

- Actual scale of ad revenue: AppGoblin estimates monthly revenue at <$10k; this is only a model estimate.

- One Facebook summary shows 2026-07-21 videos mentioning "Luda Tech platform", predating the store launch date 9-08. The launch date may have been reset, or it may be an unrelated name collision; not verified.
