# Four "clean" clones of one 18+ site: FrameBloom hit 65k installs in three weeks by stacking shells and feeding back payment data

**What it is** An Android app: pick an effect template, upload a photo, and generate a few seconds of AI short video or a multi-scene photo story, paid via diamonds and VIP. Behind it is the adult-oriented site ClingAI.

**Why it took off** The same web backend put four shells up in three days using two acquired developer accounts. On day one it started sending paid-event data back to Adjust, and it was most likely buying paid acquisition. It then targeted low-barrier photo Top Grossing charts in Indonesia, India and Mexico, where a few tens of thousands of users were enough to chart.

**C** **How you could approach it** Don't build yet another photo-animation shell. Instead, take the playbook (validate templates and pricing on the web first, test acquisition cost across several Play shells, send paid events back on day one, go after low-barrier Top Grossing charts) and apply it to a product you can run for the long term.

Grade C: the playbook is worth learning, but the category is packed with PixVerse, Kling, Hailuo and tens of millions of dollars' worth of clone studios, and it has no differentiation of its own. It works by relying on acquired accounts and rebranding an adult site as Teen to pass review, so ban risk is high. Anyone who copies it just makes another short-lived shell. Few people know about it yet

Data (updated daily) · first launch 2026-10-15 · 11-07 installs 64,672

Android · Total installs worldwide

FrameBloom is a Google Play app where you upload a photo and generate a few seconds of AI video. Three weeks after launch it had 65k installs and made the photo Top Grossing charts in India, Indonesia, Mexico and the UK, peaking at #27 in India. It is actually one of four reskinned shells on Play for an adult-oriented AI video site. The product itself has little to learn from; what's worth learning is how it stacked shells and prepared for paid acquisition.

### Three days, four apps

Between Oct 14 and 16, 2026, four apps went up on Google Play one after another: MoriFrame, AsterLoop, FrameBloom and LumaSprig. The names differ, but the package names are all `com.<name>.studio`, the first line of each store description is "Bring your photos to life with …", the support email is support@cling-ai.com in every case, and the privacy policies sit on subdomains like `<name>.proeai.com`.

FrameBloom's developer account is named "muhammed waris", and that account previously held a document viewer app with the package name com.abctech1 (AppBrain). LumaSprig's account, "PIZZA DI LUNA, LLC", is even stranger: in July it published a pizza restaurant ordering app. Neither account has anything to do with AI video, so they look like purchased or borrowed aged accounts (inference). Aged accounts skip the closed testing requirement for new personal Play accounts, and if one gets banned, the others keep running.

Performance of the four shells as of Nov 6 (Google Play installs, 11-06):

| App | Developer account | Launched | Total installs | 7 new in the last day | Best rank |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LumaSprig: AI Photo Motion | PIZZA DI LUNA, LLC | 10-16 | 77,100 | 59,744 | India Top Grossing Photo 22 |
| **FrameBloom: AI Photo Stories** | muhammed waris | 10-15 | 64,672 | 46,885 | India Top Grossing Photo 27 |
| AsterLoop: AI Photo Motion | muhammed waris | 10-15 | 35,047 | 31,841 | France Top Grossing Photo 32 |
| MoriFrame: AI Photo Motion | muhammed waris | 10-14 | 24,392 | 10,259 | Turkey Top Free Photo 113 |

Together the four are about 200k installs, with roughly 150k new per week. FrameBloom is the second best of the four.

### What's behind the shell

Open cling-ai.com and the first screen is an age gate: "This website contains adult content and is intended for adults only." Past it is a row of effect templates: "Become a Doggirl", "Inflate Selfie", "Money Rain", "Fairy Wings", "Claw Machine". The mirror site proeai.com also has "Become a Foxgirl", "Tender Kiss", "Ghost Behind You", about forty in total (web, 11-06). Pricing is diamonds plus VIP, with VIP at $59.99 a year and double credits in the first month.

FrameBloom on Play wears a different face: rated Teen, labeled "Diverse Content: Discretion Advised", and the description talks about "travel photos, scenery, pets and everyday memories". The features are identical: pick an effect, upload a photo, export a short video, with the diamond cost shown before each generation. It adds "Photo Stories", which strings several scenes into a story with consistent characters, VIP only. In-app purchases run from $1.99 to $99.99.

In other words, the same backend validated templates and pricing on the web first, then cleaned up and dropped them into Play shells. The templates weren't invented here either. They are plays that PixVerse, Kling and Hailuo taught on TikTok over the past year (the name ClingAI sounds like it is riding Kling).

### Where users come from

No organic sources turned up. Searching framebloom, lumasprig or cling ai on TikTok returns photo frame shops and Kling tutorials; nobody has mentioned them on X in 30 days; the only search hits are auto-generated pages from Softonic, AppBrain and Similarweb.

Its privacy policy (10-15 version), though, lays out the groundwork clearly: it integrates Adjust to "attribute installs", and reports four events (registration, starting generation, starting payment, payment success), with product, currency and amount on payment success. That is the standard setup for sending revenue back to ad networks so they can optimize bidding toward paying users.

The install curve also looks bought (Google Play installs):

| Date | Total installs | New |
|---|---|---|
| 10-29 | 17,787 | — |
| 10-31 | 39,952 | +22,165 |
| 11-02 | 59,175 | +19,223 |
| 11-03 | 61,494 | +2,319 |
| 11-06 | 64,672 | +3,178 |

It added twenty thousand installs twice at the end of October, then only a few thousand over the three days after Nov 3. Meanwhile its free chart rank stayed poor (mostly #70–130), while the grossing chart stayed in the top 50. Few people came, but those who came paid. So paid acquisition is the most likely explanation (inference). Where it ran is unclear: it doesn't appear in the Google Ads Transparency Center, nor in the TikTok European ad library 11-02. Most likely ads ran as Google app campaigns under another advertiser name, or in Indonesia, India and Mexico where public ad libraries don't show them (unverified). Why it slowed in early November, whether spend was stopped or moved to LumaSprig, can't be seen from outside.

### Why a few tens of thousands of installs can chart

Two reasons. One, the demand is already there: users come in for a specific meme effect (turn into a fox girl, money rain, inflate) and pay on the spot, so they don't need retention to carry it. Two, the chart bar is low: the photo-category Top Grossing in Indonesia, India and Mexico only needs a small number of paying users to make the top 50. The UK one only climbed from 65 to 51.

It also ranks #101–103 in about a dozen small markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and Saudi Arabia. This comes from Play's small-country category charts sharing one aggregate list, and does not mean it has real revenue in those countries.

Its only differentiator is "Photo Stories", but LumaSprig, which calls it Photo Motion in the matrix and doesn't push stories, performs even better. The name and selling points at most make the ad creatives easier to pitch; they are not why it ran.

### Who it's competing with

| Competitors | Scale (Google Play, 11-06) | How it differs |
|---|---|---|
| PixVerse | 79.6M installs, +520k in 7 days, UK Top Grossing Photo 3 | In-house model, the source of the template effects |
| Hailuo (MiniMax) | 27.8M installs, UK Top Grossing Photo 8 | Big-company in-house models |
| Kling AI (Kuaishou) | Top players | Big-company models |
| Mivora AI | 8.4M installs, India Top Grossing Photo 1 | Same white-label shell play, but half a year earlier and 100× bigger |
| Mistmere | 235k installs, +230k in 7 days, Mexico Top Free Photo 1 | Launched the same week, pushing free chart volume |
| VidJoy | 80k installs, 7 days +70k | Similarly sized white-label apps |
| Dance AI, DanceHit and HubX's AI Video | Millions to tens of millions | Mature paid acquisition studios, also running multi-app matrices |

Above this category sit model makers and big companies, in the middle are clone studios worth tens of millions, and at the bottom new shells appear every week. FrameBloom is one of the bottom tier, and few people know about it yet: no public revenue, no press coverage.

### If it were you

**Verdict** : Don't build another AI photo-animation shell. What's worth taking away is the playbook of "web backend, several Play shells, attribution feedback on day one, go after low-barrier grossing charts", applied to a product you can run long term.

**Who it's for** : small teams that already have a web or app product earning money, that run Google app campaigns or Meta, and that want several more positions in emerging Android markets.

**Who it's not for** : indie developers hoping to make money from "AI photo-to-video" itself. PixVerse, Kling and Hailuo are already there, along with free features from big companies, and Mistmere and VidJoy are launching in the same week, so you have no edge to win on. It's also not for anyone unwilling to touch acquired accounts or to rebrand an adult site as Teen to get listed. Both are high-risk ban triggers under Play policy, and content like "Tender Kiss" paired with a Teen rating will cause trouble eventually.

**How to do it** : One, validate templates and pricing on the web before wrapping them in Play shells. Each shell gets its own name, subdomain and privacy page, and they launch the same week, so you can see which name, icon and selling point gets the cheapest acquisition. Two, integrate an attribution tool like Adjust on day one and send registration, payment start, payment success and amount back to the ad network. Three, target Top Grossing charts in Indonesia, India and Mexico, where the category bar is low, and trade ranking for store exposure.

**How to acquire users** : Use app campaigns optimized for paying users, and watch cost per paying user from the start rather than cost per install. Run several shells at once and shift budget to the one that performs, as LumaSprig and FrameBloom did to MoriFrame.

**When to move before it's too late** : There's no deadline. This is a general playbook, not a window. As for this specific shell, its version hasn't been updated in three weeks, which looks like a short-cycle harvest.

**What would show this read is wrong** : (1) FrameBloom or its sister shells start updating regularly, collect real ratings and reach hundreds of thousands of installs, which would mean they are building a real product and worth a fresh look; (2) all four shells are pulled from Play within a month or two, showing that "acquired accounts plus cleaned-up listings" no longer works, leaving only "web backend plus attribution feedback" to learn from; (3) a flood of their ads appears in public ad libraries, revealing which meme they are actually buying, which is the real secret of this kind of product.

Where users come from

- Inferred **Paid acquisition (probably Google UAC or emerging-market Meta)** : the privacy policy says it uses Adjust for install attribution and sends registration, payment and revenue events back; installs come in batches; Top Free rank is weak while Top Grossing is good; but Google's Ads Transparency Center and TikTok's EU ad library show no ads for it.

- **Confirmed** **Portfolio flooding (many accounts, many shells)** : 4 apps share support@cling-ai.com and *.proeai.com subdomains, use the same copy template, and were listed within 3 days; the developer account PIZZA DI LUNA LLC previously published a pizza-ordering app, and muhammed waris's name is tied to an unrelated Document Inspector.

- Inferred **Store search / Top Grossing exposure** : titles stuffed with the keywords AI Photo Motion / Stories; charted in Photography Top Grossing in low-barrier emerging markets, ranked 50 or better.

- Inferred **TikTok / X content and creators** : TikHub searches for framebloom, lumasprig, and cling ai return no related videos; x-radar shows 0 posts in 30 days.

## FrameBloom: AI Photo Stories (com.framebloom.studio): why it charted

### Bottom line

FrameBloom isn't a standalone product. It's one of 4 reskinned shells that the same AI image-to-video backend (ClingAI / ProeAI, cling-ai.com) published on Google Play. Between 2026-10-14 and 10-16, it went live under two developer accounts that look bought or borrowed (the personal account "muhammed waris" and "PIZZA DI LUNA, LLC"), shipped with the Adjust attribution SDK, and pushed into the top 50 of Photography Top Grossing charts in Indonesia, India, Mexico, the UK and elsewhere. It works through **portfolio flooding plus paid acquisition** (the acquisition part is inferred; no ad creatives were captured), and through **charging diamonds and VIP for template effects borrowed from Pixverse / Kling-style tools** . The product itself has little differentiation.

### Data (googleplay library, 2026-10-29 to 11-06)

- Cumulative global installs: 10-29 17,787,11-06 64,672. 7 new installs in 46,885 days. Play install counts jump in batches (10-31 +22,165,11-02 +19,223, with 0 in between), and growth clearly slows after 11-03; over 3 days it added only about 3,200.

- Ratings and review counts have been empty the whole time. The version has stayed at 1.0.0 since launch on 2026-10-15 with no updates. No ads; in-app purchases $1.99–$99.99.

- Top Grossing: 10-29 has already reached #30 in India's Photography Top Grossing, #30 in Indonesia, #31 in Malaysia and #43 in Mexico; 11-06 hit Indonesia #38, Mexico #44, UK #51 and India #51 (the UK climbed steadily from #65 to #51, while India fell from #27 to #51). Roughly a dozen smaller countries place it at #88–#103, but that's the same aggregate chart and shouldn't be read as independent signals per country. US Top Grossing: #131–#142.

- Top Free ranks have always trailed Top Grossing (Malaysia #34–#101, most other countries around #70–#130). Users aren't coming in through organic free-chart traffic, so monetization efficiency looks better than the install numbers suggest.

- Content rating is Teen; the store page shows 50K+ (Play web, 2026-11-06).

### The same-backend portfolio (key finding)

| App | Developer account | Launched | Installs (11-06) | 7 new in the last day | Best rank |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LumaSprig: AI Photo Motion | PIZZA DI LUNA, LLC | 2026-10-16 | 77,100 | 59,744 | India Top Grossing Photo 22 |
| **FrameBloom: AI Photo Stories** | muhammed waris | 2026-10-15 | 64,672 | 46,885 | Indonesia Photography Top Grossing #38 |
| AsterLoop: AI Photo Motion | muhammed waris | 2026-10-15 | 35,047 | 31,841 | France Top Grossing Photo 32 |
| MoriFrame: AI Photo Motion | muhammed waris | 2026-10-14 | 24,392 | 10,259 | Turkey Top Free Photo 113 |

All four apps list support@cling-ai.com as the support email; the websites and privacy policies sit under `<name>.proeai.com` subdomains; package names follow `com.<name>.studio`; and the store copy uses the same template ("Bring your photos to life with …", "PHOTO TO MOTION") (googleplay library, app table). Together they have about 200k installs, with about 7k new in 150 days. In our TikTok ad roster, the FrameBloom entry alone maps the asterloop, framebloom and lumasprig package names to one product (tiktokads.watch).

- **Backend** : proeai.com and cling-ai.com are the same web storefront, with identical homepage effect templates whose images load from cling-ai.com: "Become a Foxgirl", "Tender Kiss", "Inflate Selfie", "Money Rain", "Ghost Behind You", and 31 more (fetched via r.jina.ai from proeai.com and cling-ai.com, 2026-11-06). Opening cling-ai.com first requires 18+ age verification and displays "This website contains adult content". Monetization is diamonds plus VIP, with VIP at $59.99/year and double the first month (cling-ai.com/recharge). The Play shells are rated Teen, and their copy only talks about "travel, scenery, pets, everyday memories", effectively cleaning up an adult-oriented web product before listing.

- **The accounts look bought or borrowed** : PIZZA DI LUNA, LLC 2026-07 previously published a pizza-ordering app on Play (com.pizzadiluna.lunadipizza.foodapp, per AppBrain and a Google Sites privacy page); "muhammed waris" is tied to a Document Inspector with package com.abctech1 (AppBrain). Neither has anything to do with AI video, so they look like aged accounts bought or nominally held, used to get around Play's closed-testing requirement for new personal accounts and to spread ban risk.

- **Acquisition infrastructure** : FrameBloom's privacy policy says it uses Adjust to "attribute installs" and reports registration, generation-start, payment-start, purchase-success and revenue (framebloom.proeai.com/privacypolicy.html). That's standard setup for sending data back to ad channels and optimizing for ROAS.

### Growth channels

1. **Paid acquisition (likely, creatives not captured)** : the evidence is Adjust attribution; installs cluster on days with no organic activity and jump in batches; the app ranks low on free charts yet gets high install volume. No ads found: the app is absent from the Google Ads Transparency Center (googleads.watch logs status=no_ads), we also checked the TikTok EU ad library 11-02 and found nothing (tiktokads.adv_map no_ads), and the Meta ad library didn't pick it up. Most likely Google App Campaigns (UAC) ran under a different advertiser name, or it ran in Indonesia, India, or Mexico, where our ad libraries have no coverage. **Unverified** .

2. **Portfolio flooding** : one backend wrapped in 4 shells, all listed in the same week, claiming more store-search terms (AI Photo Motion / AI Photo Stories). If one gets banned there are others, and it lets them test which name, icon and creatives have the lowest acquisition cost. Going by results, LumaSprig and FrameBloom performed best, and MoriFrame worst.

3. **No organic content** : searching "framebloom", "lumasprig" or "cling ai" on TikTok returns only same-name but unrelated content (photo-frame shops, Kling AI tutorials); the local X corpus has 0 posts in 30 days (x-radar); the web only has auto-generated pages from Softonic, CNET Download, AppBrain, Apptopia and Similarweb.

### Why people would pay

- The formula is "pick a template, upload one photo, get a few-second short video" (viral effects like cat-girl transformations, kisses, inflation, money rain). Each generation costs diamonds, and the premium Story Mode is VIP-only. Pixverse, Hailuo and Kling have already educated the market on this demand. Users come for a specific meme effect and pay on the spot, so the product doesn't need retention to pay off.

- Top Grossing placements land in emerging markets (Indonesia, India, Mexico), where the bar to reach the top 50 in Photography is low and a small amount of paid spend is enough to chart.

### Competitors

| Competitors | Platform | Launched | Scale | How it differs from FrameBloom |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PixVerse | Android / iOS / web | 2024-09(Play) | Play 79.6M installs, +520k in 7 days, UK Top Grossing Photo 3 | Its own model, the source of the template effects; FrameBloom is a small-brand shell of the same playbook |
| Hailuo AI(MiniMax) | Android / iOS / web | 2025-01 | 27.8M installs, UK Top Grossing Photo 8 | Big-company in-house models |
| Kling AI (Kuaishou) | Android / iOS / web | 2024 | Top players | The ClingAI name clearly plays on Kling |
| Mivora AI(CamSoft AI Magic) | Android | 2026-02 | 8.4M installs, India Top Grossing Photo 1 | Same white-label shell category, but earlier and 100× bigger |
| Mistmere(Funkedenic) | Android | 2026-10-16 | 235k installs, +230k in 7 days, Mexico Top Free Photo 1 | Same week of launch, same image-to-video category, chasing Top Free volume; FrameBloom leans toward monetization |
| VidJoy(Nexax Labs) | Android | 2026-10-07 | 80k installs, 7 days +70k | Similarly sized white-label apps |
| Shots / Dance AI (DeePix), Momo / DanceHit (ScaleUp), AI Video (HubX) | Android | 2024–2026 | Millions to tens of millions | A mature paid-acquisition studio, also running a multi-app portfolio |
| Revive(Reface) | Android | 2022 | 15.5M installs | Older-generation photo animation |
| Same-portfolio LumaSprig / AsterLoop / MoriFrame | Android | 2026-10 | See table above | Same backend, only the name changed |

(data from the googleplay library app_profile, 2026-11-06)

### Differentiation

The only selling point on the store page is "Photo Stories": several scenes strung into one story, characters kept consistent, VIP only. FrameBloom is the only shell in the portfolio that leads with Stories; the other three say Photo Motion. Its installs rank second in the portfolio, and its Indonesia and Mexico Top Grossing placements are similar to AsterLoop's and LumaSprig's. So the Stories positioning at most makes the acquisition creatives easier to pitch; it isn't why the app charted. What actually worked is the whole playbook: shared backend, ready-made templates, an account portfolio, and acquisition data feedback.

### How visible it is

Few people know about it yet: no disclosed revenue, no press coverage, nobody on X talks about it, and it only shows up on auto-generated data-site pages. But the "white-label image-to-video template app" niche is already crowded with studios, and similar apps like Mistmere and VidJoy are pushing in the same week.

### Copycats

No one specifically imitating FrameBloom turned up. It is itself one of 4 shells from the same team, and the category has always copied itself.

### What to borrow

- One web backend (used first to validate templates and pricing) feeding several Play shells, each with its own name, subdomain and privacy page. Listing is fast, ban risk is spread out, and creatives can be A/B tested.

- Adjust integrated from day one, with paid events and revenue sent back, aiming at low-barrier Photography Top Grossing slots in emerging markets.

- Risks: a web product with 18+ rating cleaned up for listing, template names like "Tender Kiss", a Teen rating, and bought developer accounts, all high-risk triggers under Play policy. No version updates in three weeks also suggests a short-cycle harvest product.

### Still unclear

- Which channels were used and how much was spent (the UAC advertiser name, Meta spend in Indonesia, India and Mexico) couldn't be found.

- Whether ratings are being solicited: rating data has stayed empty.

- Actual revenue; whether the slowdown after 11-03 means spend stopped or was moved to LumaSprig.

- Which company operates ClingAI (the terms don't name an entity).
