# Poke holes in your photos: how dooo0t, with 2.16M downloads, got its start from a photo set by a Russian teen

**What it is** A free photo editing tool: it punches dot, star, and teardrop-shaped holes in your photo, then layers another image behind them. A few sliders get you a magazine-style collage.

**Why it took off** The finished images are instantly recognizable, and people who see them post in the comments asking "what app is this?" Ordinary users then kept posting finished images and tutorials on TikTok, Lemon8, and Threads, and the app spread. The creator launched a web version first, so people were already waiting when the app came out.

**C** **How you could follow it** Don't copy the dots. Copy the approach: find a visual format that's trending and tedious to make by hand, launch a free web tool with a single screen of sliders first, release on iOS and Android together, and let users spread it for you through finished images and tutorials. Ship a new template every two to three weeks.

Grade C: the punch-hole collage peak ran from 4 to July and is now fading. The tool is free, and copycats never took off. Users search for the name dooo0t, so latecomers can't take that away. The method is worth learning, but copying this product is not worth it. Buzzing in niche circles

Data (updated daily) · first launch 2026-08-20 · 11-07 installs 56,044

Android · Total installs worldwide

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations). Google's detail page only refreshes install counts every other day, so a flat day doesn't mean nobody installed.

A RedNote blogger saw the "punch-hole collage" trend spreading on Instagram and used vibe coding to build a web page, then turned it into an app. No charge, no ads, and 2.16M downloads across the web within two months. Its Android version is still on the August build, and a few hundred people still install it each day. This piece covers why it caught on, how far it has gone, and which parts people who want to follow it can copy right now.

### One photo set, one tutorial

In late April 2026, a Russian girl who looked like an ordinary user posted a photo set on TikTok. Her selfie had a row of star-shaped "holes" revealing another image behind it, possibly fruit, an umbrella, or flowers, so the whole picture had layers like a magazine spread. The set got 2.1M views and 117k saves, and nearly every comment asked the same thing: what app is this?

The next day she posted a Russian tutorial walking through the steps. That one got 1.2M views and 130k saves.

Both videos were later written up in the growth newsletter Social Growth Engineers' May 4 breakdown. In its words: "The first video created desire, and the second made the trend easy to copy. For a photo editing app, one strong visual effect is worth more than a dozen ordinary ad creatives." The app in the video was called dooo0t, and it had been live for only three weeks.

### What it is

dooo0t is a tool for punching "holes" in photos: pick a photo, punch dot, star, or teardrop holes, then layer another photo or a pattern behind them. Hole size, density, and position are all set with sliders, and there's a one-tap randomize. Later it added music stickers (mu3ic:), knit lace stickers (bedroom), character stickers (ascii*), physical photo templates, and in September a community plus "remix other people's work." Live Photos can be exported.

Everything is free, with no in-app purchases, no ads, and no watermark.

Meitu and Meitu Xiuxiu already had punch-hole templates, but they're prebuilt, so everyone's output looks the same. Making it by hand in CapCut or Canva means hunting for assets, cutting out shapes, and adjusting positions. dooo0t compresses all of that into one screen of sliders, and every randomized result is different.

### Starting from a web page

In early April, the developer posted on RedNote: "Lately I keep seeing lots of pretty collages on IG and Threads, so I vibe coded one." The web version doooot.pages.dev had just one feature, punching holes. The page said "Honestly, I don't make a cent, so please follow this poor creator" and pointed people to follow the author @cardonlelrl on RedNote.

The web page spread overseas first. A Taiwanese Threads user shared the link, saying "This website! It was made by a RedNote blogger." In April 15, Australian user @char.lotte.cxl posted on TikTok "xhs with the goated websites," with 104k views. An Indonesian user, @ssukiooow, posted a web tutorial in April 26 that got 208k views. Someone on Instagram even made an English tutorial, reasoning that "this website is only in Chinese."

So when the iOS version went live on Apr 13, a crowd was already waiting to use it. According to Diandian data (reposted by Baijing Going Global 6-15), it hit #8 on the China store's iOS Photo & Video download chart within a week, and #100 or higher overall. Social Growth Engineers says it did 300K downloads in April, reached the top 100 in the US store's Photo & Video chart, and ranked #6 among China-store peers. By June, cumulative downloads across the web reached 2.16M (third-party estimate, never officially disclosed).

### Why it spread: the finished images ask "what app is this?" for you

What sets this product apart is the images it produces, and the feature list matters less. Punch-hole dot collages are instantly recognizable in a feed and look nothing like ordinary photos, so the comments ask "how was this made?" on their own. A loop follows: someone posts a finished image, commenters ask for the app name, someone posts a tutorial, and people who follow it make and post their own finished images.

The top TikTok content you can count was almost all posted by ordinary users (views as seen at 11-06):

| Who | Where | Item | Views |
|---|---|---|---|
| A Russian girl | TikTok | Star-hole photo set / next-day tutorial | 2.1M / 1.2M |
| @toothyfruti | Indonesia | Punch-hole collage | 782k |
| @bbyb3a | Australia | "viral star collage trend" | 691k |
| @cinamrcll | Philippines | Headphone music template | 366k, 325k |
| @farahzzrs | Indonesia | "paper holes" | 291k |
| @myywepx, @ingomojo | Thailand | Tutorials | About 125k each |

In Thailand it spread mostly through Lemon8. There are several Thai-language tutorials, one titled "Android version tutorial," and people also posted asking "does dooo0t have an Android version?"

Each new template the creator released gave TikTok one more tutorial format people could film, like the "earphone music picture" template, which kept the trend going longer. I found no trace of paid acquisition. The product itself doesn't make money, and there's no payback model that would justify paid acquisition.

### Android version: four months late, not updated after launch

The Google Play version launched Aug 20, got one update on Aug 22 (3.2.4), and has not been touched since. Over the same period the iOS version went up to 3.4.1, updating roughly every few days.

But people kept installing the Play version. Cumulative installs were 12 on Sep 3,897 and 6 on Nov 56,044 (Google Play install counts, 11-06). From 10-29 to 11-06 it added 7,104 new installs in one week, averaging 800-900 a day. A few days in October hit 3,000–4,000 in a single day, and I don't know which piece of content drove that. It currently sits around #121 in the Brazil Play Photography Top Free chart and #185 in Thailand. Both charts have low entry bars, and I found only scattered content on Brazilian TikTok, so this ranking doesn't show a Brazilian wave of its own.

These installs mostly come from tutorials that built up from 4 through July. Many tutorials literally write "app name: dooo0t," and viewers just search the name in the store and install. Compared with the 200 tens of thousands of iOS downloads, 56k is a rounding error.

Interest is fading. The top TikTok content clusters from 4 through July, and after October only posts with a few thousand to tens of thousands of views remain. The iOS China store, with the most ratings (1,048), gained only 7 in the last 23 days, while the US store (90 ratings, 4.8 stars) and other regions barely moved (App Store ratings, 11-06).

### Who built it: not really a solo maker

The developer is listed as "Kairuotu Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.", registered in July 2025 with registered capital of ¥1M. According to 《读佳》 (reprinted by Sina Finance 2026-03-04), it is a "one-person-run" company that shipped 7 apps and registered 4 domains in 18 months. Before dooo0t it already had a hit, "TinyType" (9,733 ratings in the China store, 4.91 stars), and its portfolio also includes herein and MindBack.

The same report notes that Xiaohongshu's company registered copyright on artwork with character names similar to TinyType's, and MindBack's logo resembles a Xiaohongshu trademark. There is no public equity or partnership between the two, and Xiaohongshu did not respond. What the relationship between this company and Xiaohongshu actually is remains unclear from the outside (unverified). What is clear is that this is a team that builds aesthetic utilities and already has followers and distribution experience on Xiaohongshu, and dooo0t is its second hit.

### Who it's competing with

| Product | Platform / launch | Scale | How it differs from dooo0t |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meitu, Meitu Xiuxiu hole-punch templates | Already around | Hundreds of millions of users | One-tap template application, results look all the same |
| CapCut / Canva / Picsart | Already around | Hundreds of millions of users | Can produce a similar look, but requires manually cutting out images and finding assets; TikTok has "make the dots effect in CapCut" tutorials |
| DotArt – Dot Collage Maker | iOS,4-20 | 114 ratings in the China store | A direct copycat that appeared a week after dooo0t launched, even copying its description; scale is two orders of magnitude smaller |
| yoi-Plog | iOS,8-07 | 284 ratings in the China store | Collage templates plus Live cutout, not focused on dots |
| PhotoColors | iOS,3-31 | 8,413 ratings in the China store | Same wave of indie aesthetic utilities, doing color-swatch collages; switched to a subscription in May |
| Walliz | iOS,4-09 | US: 3,064 ratings | Same collage trend, making DIY wallpapers |

The feature can be copied within a week, and DotArt proves it. But none of the copycats took off. On TikTok people saw the name "dooo0t" and searched for that name. Shipping first, the author's persona on Xiaohongshu, and constantly releasing new templates mattered far more than the feature itself.

### Where the money comes from

It makes no money right now. The developer publicly promised the dot tool would stay free. It may later monetize through community or premium templates, or route traffic to the company's other apps; both are inference. For this company, dooo0t looks more like a way to build a brand and a user pool.

### If it were you

**C: Worth learning from, but copying it isn't worth it.** The peak of the hole-punch collage trend was 4 through July and is now declining. The product is free, the copycats didn't take off, and search traffic follows the name "dooo0t" so latecomers can't capture it. What's really worth taking is the playbook: find a visual format that is trending, tedious to make by hand, and instantly recognizable in the output, package it as a slider tool, and ship before the trend peaks.

- **Who it suits** : one or two people who can build mobile or web utilities, scroll Instagram / Threads / Xiaohongshu / Pinterest daily, and have a sense of aesthetics; ideally with a social account of their own to post their work.

- **Who it doesn't suit** : anyone who wants to make money from this directly (tools like this are almost all free during the spread phase, and PhotoColors moving to a subscription is the exception); anyone who wants to build a "dot punch Android version" now to chase Southeast Asia (the heat has passed, and dooo0t is already on Play, where users search for its name).

- **How to build it** : launch on the web first, one feature, one screen of sliders, with randomization, and export images with no watermark or logo so the finished output spreads on its own. Move to an app once the web version gets passed around as a "goated website" on Threads and TikTok. Launch iOS and Android together, since users in Southeast Asia and Latin America asked "is there an Android version?" under dooo0t tutorials for months. After launch, release a new template every two to three weeks, each one a new tutorial topic.

- **How to acquire users** : no paid acquisition. Post finished images yourself without naming the app in the post, let the comments ask, then post a step-by-step tutorial. Target ordinary users in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand (Lemon8) who like posting photo-editing tutorials; most of dooo0t's top content came from these countries.

- **When to start, ideally before** : there is no fixed deadline, follow the trend. The moment a new visual format starts flooding Instagram / Threads while TikTok still lacks "what app do I use" questions, it's time to start. Once people on TikTok are already teaching "the same look in CapCut," you're too late.

- **What would show you misread it** : ① If dooo0t's Play installs are still thousands a day in December, or it resumes updates and climbs the charts in more countries, the trend still has room, and a continuously updated Android competitor may still be in time; ② If copycats like DotArt reach tens of thousands of ratings by switching languages or platforms, latecomers can still catch this kind of trend, and this tier should be scored higher.

## Why dooo0t (com.kairuotu.dooo0t) broke out

> Research date 2026-11-06. Channel: Google Play. Developer: Kairuotu Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

### Bottom line

dooo0t is a dot-punch collage tool that the Xiaohongshu blogger @cardonlelrl vibe-coded after seeing the "hole-punch collage" trend spread on IG and Threads. It launched as a web version first, hit iOS in Apr 13, and grew on the strength of highly recognizable finished images and a UGC tutorial loop: commenters kept asking "what app is this?", which spread it across TikTok, Lemon8, Threads and Xiaohongshu. By mid-June it had 2.16M downloads across platforms (Dian Dian Data, via NetEase). **The Play version is just the tail of the trend** : it went live in Aug 20, hasn't been updated since Aug 22, has no payments and no ads, and now grows about 400–1,400 installs a day organically, mostly from the tutorial long tail left on TikTok and Lemon8. The "charted only in Brazil and Thailand" result in recall comes from the low bar of small-country category charts, not from it selling only in two places.

### 1. Data (first, a correction to the data card)

| Project | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Play cumulative installs | 48,940(10-29) → 56,044(11-06), +7,104 in 7 days | googleplay library app_snap |
| Play daily new installs | In September, about 400–900 a day; 10-04, 10-08, 10-12/13, 10-21 showed single-day peaks of 2,800–4,000; in November, about 400–900 a day | Google Play library app_day_ext (historical data backfilled by AppstoreSpy) |
| Play install baseline | 2026-09-12 only 3,897 installs | Same as above |
| Play version | Always 3.2.4; store update date 2026-08-22; no in-app purchases, no ads; store shows no rating | app_snap |
| Play charts | Brazil Photography Top Free: 135→183→121; Thailand 176–197 | googleplay library chart_rank |
| iOS release | **2026-04-13** (the data card says "about June", which is wrong) | iTunes lookup |
| iOS ratings | China 1,048, US 90 (4.81), Indonesia 61, Thailand 57, Taiwan 45, Philippines 43, Vietnam 45, Brazil 23, South Korea 13 | iTunes lookup / appstore library 2026-11-06 |
| iOS rating growth | China store up +23 over the last 7 days; other stores barely moving | appstore library |
| iOS version cadence | 3.4.1 (11-03); in September added community ("Hi! Mi Community" 3.3.0); in October added comments and physical-photo templates, updating every few days | App Store version history |
| Downloads across all platforms | Within a week of launch it reached #8 in the China store's iOS Photo & Video downloads and the overall top 100; cumulative 2.16M by mid-June | NetEase article (2026-06-15, citing Dian Dian Data) |
| US | April downloads 300k a month, #100 in the US Photo & Video chart, #6 in China Photography | Social Growth Engineers(2026-05-04) |

**Verdict:** iOS is the bulk of it, and mostly from the China store. The Play version's 56k installs are a rounding error next to the 200 million+ total downloads. Play launched 4 months late and has barely been maintained since release (iOS is at 3.4.1, Play still sits at 3.2.4).

### 2. How it took off

#### 2.1 origin: a Xiaohongshu blogger vibe-coded it to ride an aesthetic trend

- In early April, the developer posted on Xiaohongshu that they'd seen lots of aesthetic collages on IG and Threads and vibe-coded one. A web version went up at doooot.pages.dev with a single feature: punching dots, stars and droplet shapes into photos, with adjustable size, density, color and background texture (NetEase 2026-06-15).

- The page said "Seriously free, not making a cent, follow the poor creator" and pointed users to Xiaohongshu for the author (doooot.pages.dev). Tencent News (2026-06-08) named the author as Xiaohongshu blogger @cardonlelrl.

- It hit a real need: punched holes are standard in journal and collage-style photos. Meitu and Meitu Xiuxiu have ready-made punch templates, but those are prefab, so everyone's output looks the same; doing it by hand means finding assets, cutting out shapes and adjusting positions. dooo0t squeezed punching and collaging into a few sliders plus random layouts, so every output is different (NetEase).

#### 2.2 The web version blew up on overseas social media before the app existed

- Threads: Taiwan users posted "this site! made by a Xiaohongshu blogger, doooot.pages.dev" and "link is here!" (threads.com/@its0y39fosho, @sea.____nn, @yln._0401).

- TikTok: @char.lotte.cxl (Australia) posted "xhs with the goated websites 🔗 doooot.pages.dev" 4-15, 104k views; @ssukiooow (Indonesia) 4-26 posted a website tutorial, 208k views (TikHub).

- Instagram: someone made an English tutorial because "the site is only in Chinese" (instagram.com/reel/DW_cJnviV73).

- So the app launched with traffic already in hand, not from a cold start.

#### 2.3 The UGC tutorial loop after the app launched (the main growth engine)

The loop was: finished image → commenters ask what app → post a tutorial → others copy it and post again. There is plenty of evidence:

- A Russian girl's star-collage set got 2.1M views and 117k saves; the next day she posted a tutorial that got 1.2M views and 130k saves (SGE 2026-05-04: "one strong visual is worth more than a dozen ordinary ad creatives").

- Top videos from a TikHub search for "dooo0t": @toothyfruti (Indonesia) 782k views, 35k saves; @bbyb3a (Australia) "viral star collage trend" 691k; @cinamrcll (Philippines) 366k and 325k (headphone-music template); @farahzzrs (Indonesia) "paper holes" 291k; @myywepx (Thailand) 127k; @ingomojo (Thailand) 125k; Japan's @ron.ue said "it keeps showing up on red (Xiaohongshu) lately".

- Posting clustered from April to July; after October, top content clearly thinned out (only posts like @keiqqs and @iammiatok with a few thousand to tens of thousands of views remain).

- Thailand relied mainly on Lemon8: several Thai tutorials (@naensroomq, @malii_lala, @frame_nlp "Android version tutorial", @biutefute "does dooo0t have an Android version?"), showing Android users were waiting for an Android build early on.

- Philippines and Mexico had posts saying "here's for android!" and "dooo0t app is here for android" as early as late June (TikHub), before the Play launch date 8-20. The Android version may have circulated as an APK or through the web at that point (Chinese Android download sites carry a v1.0.0 package); this is not verified.

- NetEase mentions that some celebrities used it on their own, helping it break out of its circle; which celebrities was not verified.

- No paid acquisition found: NetEase says there was no large-scale paid acquisition; the app has no in-app purchases or ads, so there's no payback model that would justify buying traffic.

#### 2.4 Why users stayed

- Completely free, no ads, no watermark. The developer publicly promised the dot tool would never charge (NetEase screenshot).

- Features kept expanding, from a single punch tool into a set of combinable mini-tools: mu3ic: (music stickers), bedroom (knit / lace), ascii*, collage (long-press to cut out), physical-photo templates; in September it added a community, remixing of works and comments. Each new template spawned a new TikTok format, like the "headphone music photo".

- Live Photo export, a plus for iPhone users.

- Reviews: US iOS 4.8 (91 ratings); the review keywords are cute, easy, aesthetic, for instagram; the negative reviews are mainly about popups in the wrong language and dots and collage modes failing to load (App Store reviews 10-07).

#### 2.5 Where Play growth comes from now

- The Play version came out 4 months late and hasn't been updated since launch. It now gets a few hundred installs a day from three sources: first, the tutorial long tail already built up on TikTok and Lemon8, with many tutorials literally naming the app dooo0t; second, store searches triggered by those tutorials; third, markets with a high share of Android users, such as Brazil, Thailand and Indonesia.

- Play Photography Top Free ranked #121 in Brazil, while iOS in Brazil has only 23 ratings. Only sporadic Brazilian content turned up on TikTok (@beathviz, 2,737 views), which shows the bar for small-country category charts is low and doesn't prove Brazil had its own breakout.

- Play had several single-day peaks of 3,000–4,000 installs in October; I didn't trace which content drove them.

### 3. Developer background: not a complete novice

- Kairuotu Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., registered in late July 2025, registered capital 1M, legal representative Liu Man (Tianyancha; reprinted from Dujia in Sina Finance 2026-03-04).

- Reported as a "one-person operation": 4 apps and 18 domains in 7 months. The hit was TinyType, a typesetting-animal app, with 9,733 China-store ratings at 4.91 stars. The company also has MindBack, Somo, herein (2,818 China-store ratings), Shanhai Line and others.

- Dujia found that Xiaohongshu Technology Co. had registered copyrights on the "tinyType logo" and several animal characters, similar to TinyType's character names, and that MindBack's logo resembles a Xiaohongshu trademark. However, there is no public equity or partnership link between the two, and Xiaohongshu has not responded. **Whether the company is an incubation project or a side business of Xiaohongshu staff has not been verified** ; if it is, the "cold start via a Xiaohongshu blogger" could have had platform resources behind it.

- What's certain: this is a team (or individual) that builds aesthetic-oriented small tools and has ready-made fans and distribution experience on Xiaohongshu, and dooo0t is its second hit.

### 4. Competitors

| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from dooo0t |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meitu / Meitu Xiuxiu punch and collage templates | Big-company features (China) | Already around | Hundreds of millions of users | One tap applies someone else's prefab template, so outputs look alike; dooo0t is parameterized with random layouts, so every output is different |
| CapCut / Canva / Picsart | Big-company features | Already around | Hundreds of millions | Can produce a similar look, but you have to cut out shapes and find assets by hand; TikTok has tutorials on "making the dots effect in CapCut" (@unikorneox), which shows it as a workaround |
| PhotoColors(Bink Labs / Haibin Wang) | iOS | 2026-03-31 | 8,413 China-store ratings; switched to subscription in May | Same wave of indie-dev aesthetic tools, but it does color-swatch collages, not punching; a peer sample for dooo0t, not a direct competitor |
| DotArt – Dot Puzzle Maker (Cai Xi Zheng) | iOS | 2026-04-20 | 114 ratings in the China store | **A direct copycat that appeared a week after dooo0t launched** ; its descriptions copy "dot collage" wording, and it's two orders of magnitude smaller |
| yoi-Plog photo collage and live photos (Yongqiang Peng) | iOS | 2026-08-07 | 284 ratings in the China store | Collage templates plus Live cutouts, broader coverage, not dot-focused |
| ColorMo (Hongyu Peng) | iOS | 2026-04-24 | 225 ratings in the China store | Color-swatch collage, a copycat of PhotoColors |
| Walliz – DIY Wallpaper Collage | iOS | 2026-04-09 | US store 3,064 ratings | DIY wallpaper collage, same collage-trend wave |
| Established collage apps like PicCollage, SCRL, Layout | iOS / Android | 2011–2019 | PicCollage US store, 1.85M ratings | Grid collage plus subscription, no signature "punch-hole dots" effect |
| Play dot-style apps like Dots Memories, SketchMe | Android | 2018–2023 | Million-level | Has "dot" in the name but does something different, not a competitor |

Verdict: almost nothing before it did dedicated "dot punch-hole collage" (big players only had templates); after it blew up, small copycats like DotArt appeared, but none took off.

### 5. The differentiation, and whether it's why it took off

- **The differentiation is in the output, not the feature count:** the result is a instantly recognizable "punch-hole dot collage." Users post it, and the comments naturally ask "what app is this," so the product spreads itself. SGE and NetEase both cite this as the core reason.

- **Subtraction:** each tool does one thing, a single screen of sliders makes an image, nothing to learn. It's the opposite of Picsart-style template packs: templates are someone else's taste, while dooo0t makes every image different.

- **Free, no ads, no watermark:** no friction to share, and it earned the developer goodwill (comments often say "developer is very sweet").

- **Is that why it took off:** yes. Output recognizability plus the tutorial loop is the growth itself. There's no technical moat (DotArt was built in a week), but the copycats didn't take off, which suggests being first, the developer's own persona and community on Xiaohongshu, and steadily adding new templates matter more than the feature set.

### 6. How many people have seen it

- **It's spreading in niche circles and has already been covered by industry media:** NetEase's "Targeting the 'collage trend,' an indie dev's small tool passed 2M downloads" (2026-06-15), Tencent News' vibe coding roundup (2026-06-08), Social Growth Engineers' breakdown (2026-05-04, reaching 30k+ growth practitioners).

- Revenue is not public (it charges nothing). The x-radar corpus on X has 0 posts about it.

- Copycats already exist: DotArt (4-20), assorted "alternative app for this trend" posts, CapCut how-to tutorials.

### 7. Where the money comes from

Not earning money right now: no in-app purchases, no ads, and the developer has promised the dot tool stays free. The guessed path is a community or premium templates, or using the traffic to funnel users to sister products (like the small-animal layout app); this is unverified. For Kaiyuotu, dooo0t looks more like a "brand plus user pool" play.

### 8. What others can learn

1. **Watch the visual formats trending on IG, Threads, and Xiaohongshu, and compress the manual workflow into a parameterized tool** , with output that's recognizable at a glance so commenters ask "what app is that" on their own.

2. **Validate on the web first, then build the app:** a web page has zero friction and can spread on Threads and TikTok as a "goated website" first; by the time the app launched, a waiting user base already existed.

3. **Each new template is a new recipe that can become a tutorial** (headphone music, knitting, physical photos), which extends the trend's lifespan.

4. **Not maintaining Android in the evening wastes volume in Southeast Asia and Latin America.** Tutorials in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Brazil keep asking "is there an Android version," which is the gap to grab: ship a continuously updated Android version, or bring the same approach to Android-first markets.

### 9. Uncertain

- What the real relationship between Kaiyuotu and Xiaohongshu is, and whether it has platform resources (there's only copyright comparison for "Dujia" and no hard proof).

- Who exactly the "celebrities using it spontaneously" are.

- The Android version was mentioned by TikTok users back in June, while the Play listing date is 8-20: the Android distribution in between (possibly APK or web) is unverified.

- The data card's "#dotedittutorial about 8M" and "Doo0t App for Android 7.3M posts" come from TikTok discover-page aggregate numbers, not content volume specific to dooo0t, so they're not relied on.

- The source of the small October peaks on Play.

- The 2.16M downloads are third-party estimates (Diandian Data), not official figures.
