### A forum post

On the night of Nov 2026, 2 23:39, a poster named Feanor118 on DonanımHaber, Turkey's largest hardware forum, put up a thread in its PlayStation section: "PS5 game live Turkish subtitles: free Android TV app." He wrote that he couldn't keep up with English subtitles in games without Turkish, so he built a tool for himself. It runs on Android TV, pulls the picture in the background over PS5 Remote Play, reads the subtitles, translates them with DeepL (or local translation when offline), and overlays Turkish subtitles on top of the game. The post included an APK download link and an install guide PDF.

Then he added:

The "sell for money" he's talking about includes Lensor. By 11-06, the thread had 321 clicks and 10 replies. People asked whether there was lag, and whether it worked on LG's WebOS.

When a category gets free clones, it tells you two things: the demand is real enough that someone will build it themselves, and the barrier is low enough that it takes a week.

### What it is

Lensor - Live Translate is by Lucy Goods LLC, listed on Google Play since 2026-09-24. It only installs on **TVs whose built-in OS is Android TV / Google TV** . External boxes, TV sticks and Chromecast don't work.

Setup: pair PS5 once with a separate PSN account. Lensor then pulls a temporary video stream through Remote Play in the background, reads only the subtitle area, runs OCR and translation on the device, and overlays the translation on the game picture coming in over HDMI. Installs were flat for three days from 10-31 to 11-02, then jumped by 2,186 on 11-03. That looks more like Play's counter batching up and refreshing once than two thousand people arriving in one day. Real growth is probably spread across 10-28 to 11-03 (inferred). Play has no ratings and no reviews yet.

It's only charted in Turkey. The Turkish Tools Top Grossing chart is easy to get onto: a few thousand installs and a handful of subscriptions can put you in the top 60. So "charted" sounds bigger than it is. Revenue is probably a few hundred to a thousand or two dollars a month (estimate, unverified).

**The pain is concrete.** Turkey has lots of console players, but big games often ship without Turkish subtitles. On PC you can use Turkish patches made by player communities, but PS5 game files are signed, so patches can't be installed. Adding a real-time translation layer over the picture is the only workable option on console.

Lensor's own selling points are "TV only, no phone needed" plus a one-time purchase and bring-your-own key. But TV-only is also true of Dijitransio, Game Caption's TV mode, and the free forum version. It also lacks Xbox, dubbing and TV-box support. The differentiation is real, but thin, and it isn't why Lensor grew. It grew on category heat, plus its own Instagram and SEO.

### If it were you

**Verdict:** Skip Turkey. A dozen rivals are fighting over a small pool worth a few thousand dollars a month, and free versions are being shared on forums. The formula worth taking is **a market whose big games lack local-language support × PS5 Remote Play × on-device OCR and translation × subtitles overlaid on the TV** . Pick a language that GTA 6 doesn't support at launch, build it in a week or two, ship around the launch wave, and test it on a small budget.
