The product itself is no different from dozens of similar apps. It worked because of the name: "XXVX" is another variant of an adult-site spelling, and people searching it in Indonesia weren't looking for friends. Below: how it gets traffic, where the money comes from, the network behind it, and whether this path still works for you.

### Two reviews

Oct 5, an Indonesian user gave it 1 star: "Bad app, nothing but ads. Every button you press gives you ads. Anyone who gives it more than one star is a shill." The day before, another wrote: "This is just an ad app, nothing like the title."

Oct 6, an English user left one line: "Haven't even used it and you're already asking for stars."

Its store rating is 4.8. Put together, that's most of the app: a name that draws a specific crowd, ads screen after screen, and a rating prompt that pops up as soon as you open it.

### What it is

The store description reads straight-faced: "premium live video chat and dating app," with random video matching, private 1-to-1 video calls, and meeting single people worldwide. The end has a long block saying "ages 18+ only" and that it "does not offer or encourage any sexual or transactional companionship." Its real position in Indonesia shows in search results. 11-06 On Indonesia's Play search for "xxvx", XXVX Live ranks #1, another package from the same group ranks #2, and after that come UC Browser, Chrome Beta, and XBrowser. People searching this term want sites like xnxx and xvideos. Searching "xvxx" instead, 11 of the top 12 results come from the same network.

From the outside, you can't tell whether the video chats in the app are real people or whether there are hosts (unverified). The bad reviews are all about ads; none say they actually matched with anyone.

Developer names are a tell too. XXVX Live's "About the developer" lists **Ban Care ApS** , with an address in Gentofte, Denmark, a UK phone number, and a gmail address with a Vietnamese name. In the Danish company registry, Ban Care ApS is a general practice clinic. **One-line verdict** : don't copy this package, but learn from how it spots traffic.
