# A five-star review named the wrong app: Nayvi is a freshly scaled paid chat-dating front

**What it is** An Android "nearby singles dating chat" app for men in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. After signup, people approach you first, and after a few messages you're asked to pay. In-app purchases run from $4.99 to $99.99.

**Why it's climbing** There's nothing new here. It copies NightSpark's template with a new skin, lists the app under the low-bar Social category, buys installs only in four English-speaking countries, and pushes its rating to 4.8 with bought reviews. 7 thousand-plus installs was enough to chart.

**D** **How you could act on it** Don't copy it. What's worth taking is how to spot a front while scanning the charts, plus the observation that Social is a low bar: if you have a legitimate product that already belongs in Social, you can trade chart position for exposure.

D grade: it's a copy of a copy. The niche has a dozen-plus similar apps, old and new, behind them a batch of fronts. The money comes from fake approaches and bought reviews, exactly what Google Play cracks down on. Indie developers can't get that and shouldn't try. Hardly anyone knows about it yet

Android · Ratings count (cumulative)

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations)

Nov 6, Nayvi: Chat & Date, listed 5 weeks earlier, ranked #43 in Google Play's US Social free chart and #81,7 in Social grossing, with 5,742 new installs in a day. It looks like a dating app gaining traction, but nothing about it is new. The official site and NightSpark from two months earlier run on the same code, and its five-star reviews come from the same writers as the dating app Groove Lite. It charted by running a playbook that's already proven and already crowded.

### Two reviews

Oct 31, Nayvi received a five-star review that opened with "I found **Groove Lite** quite convenient to explore..." On Nov 4 another ended with "...would make **Groove Lite** even more appealing." Groove Lite is a dating app from a different company (Inside Mobile). Going the other way, Groove Lite also got a five-star US review on Nov 4 that said "I really enjoy using **Nayvi** ..." The writers pasted their copy in the wrong place.

Nov 5, one user gave Nayvi 1 star:

> "All bots, relentless sending adult content saying the exact same 'upgrade your account babe'. it's not even good AI conversation"

Put these two side by side and you have most of the product: users get upsell-driven come-ons, and the 4.8 rating on the store page was bought.

### What it is

The store listing is gentle: "Meet someone who makes you smile," dating chat for singles 18 and up, "at your own pace," with a "nearby singles" feature. Rated Mature 17+, no ads, one in-app purchase at $4.99 to $99.99. The developer is Corevia Technologies LLC, with a personal gmail as the contact. Listed Sep 28, 1.0.0, updated Oct 13, 1.0.1 release. The only update note reads "Small improvements," and there have been no updates since.

Users are blunter (Google Play reviews from the US, UK, Canada and Australia, mid-October to early November):

- "No real people to find on this app. Just barkers promissing hot meet-ups as soon as you buy premium" (1 star)

- "Too many gals trying to make you get the premium package... Going to report you to the Federal Trade Commission" (1 star)

- "only gave 5 stars as i ran out of likes ... need to pay" (5 star)

After signing up as a man, you immediately see "nearby" women's profiles liking you and messaging you. The talk quickly turns to adult content, then you're pushed to upgrade. Likes, messages and photos all cost money. Whether the other end is a real chat agent, an operator, or AI can't be verified.

### How big it is

|  | Metric | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| Total installs | 10-29 1,929 → 10-31 3,478 → 11-03 5,717 → 11-06 7,671 | Google Play, daily |
| New installs in the last two days | 11-05 +891,11-06 +1,063 | Google Play |
| Score | 10-29 257 → 11-06 716,5 stars make up 86%, average 4.8 | Google Play |
| Text reviews | Only 46 reviews (11-06) | Google Play |
| Charts (11-06) | Social free: US #43, UK #55, CA #61, AU #114; US Social grossing #81 | Google Play |
| Revenue | In-app revenue from 10-05 to 11-04 under $5K | AppGazers estimate |

Two numbers look wrong. First, the rating count is about 9% of installs, where normal apps sit around 1%. Second, it charts only in the US, UK, Canada and Australia, nowhere else, and it has no content or word of mouth, yet from late October it has added several hundred to a thousand-plus installs a day. The first points to bought reviews. The second points to paid acquisition in those four countries (inferred; I didn't find the ad creatives).

The ranking looks good, but the scale is small. 7 thousand-plus installs was enough to reach the top 50 of US Social free, because dating apps sit in Social, a far lower bar than the Dating category.

### Whose front it is

Open nayviapp.com and nightsparkapp.com side by side (11-06). Both pages carry the same title, "Where two hearts meet and something beautiful begins," the same subtitle, "The best stories begin with a simple hello," image files named hero-1 through hero-7, hero-featured, profile, feature-back/front, and the same nav: Support, Terms, Privacy, Child Safety Policy. One sample card reads "Mia, 24 Online," the other "Gloria, 23 Online." Only the logo, images, brand name and footer company name differ.

| App | Company | Launched | Cumulative installs (11-06) | 7 new in the last day | US Social grossing | Relationship to Nayvi |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NightSpark | StandardStream LLC | 09-03 | 63,157 | +21,938 | #14 | Same official site, same $4.99–$99.99 pricing, 25 days earlier |
| Groove Lite | Inside Mobile | 2025-08 | 309,505 | +11,100 | #46 | Same review writers |
| **Nayvi** | **Corevia Technologies LLC** | **09-28** | **7,671** | **+5,742** | **#81** |  |

There's no legal-entity evidence that the three share an owner. The template, pricing and review channel are the same, though. The pattern is clear: one template works (NightSpark reached US Social grossing #14 in two months, AppGazers estimates $30k to $150k in monthly revenue), so a new company and a new package name get launched next. Clean ratings on each new app, and one takedown doesn't drag the others down; each new listing also earns another round of Play exposure. From Nov 2, Play's "similar apps" already pairs Nayvi with Kizme and Supervibe, so the lookalikes send users to each other.

### How crowded the niche is

On the US Social grossing chart on Nov 6, paid chat-dating apps of the same type:

- Older apps: Hugi (20.2B installs, #17), HapEnd (2.02B, #21), LitUp (2024-12.6M, #29), HiZone (2.02B, #30), Yooppe (20.2B, #64), Joymeet (20.2B, #65)

- New this year: Muah (May, 86k, #43), Kizme (July, 53k, #44), Avenora (August, 22k, #68), AfterDark (October, 14k, #78), Bonbo (August, 30k, #80), Seylo (September, 24k, #83), PeekMeet (July, 44k, #90)

About 10 of the top 100 apps of this type launched this year, and Nayvi is the newest and smallest of them. Its name hasn't caught on: nobody has mentioned it on X in 60 days, and there are no related TikTok videos. But this niche is a known older playbook in going-global circles, and Hugi and HapEnd have been running since 2022.

### If it were you

**D. Learn from it, don't follow it.** Nayvi is itself a copy, and copying it means queuing up in a niche that already has a dozen similar apps and, behind them, batches of fronts. The part that actually makes money (fake profiles or agents initiating paid come-ons, bought reviews) is exactly what Google Play's deception and review policies target, and users are already saying they'll report it to the FTC.

**Why you can't follow it:** The business needs a live person or AI persona on the other end, a stock of disposable shell companies and developer accounts that can be swapped out, and the ability to buy users profitably in high-price markets like the US, UK, Canada and Australia, while accepting that each account lives only a few months. The team behind it already runs NightSpark and Nayvi at once, and launching another under a new name is only a matter of weeks for them.

**Who it suits:** Teams already in overseas paid social with an account network and an ad-buying team. The signal they can read is that the NightSpark template is still running and the operator is still adding accounts.

**Who it doesn't suit:** Indie developers and small teams building a real product. There's no product to learn from here, and no growth lever you can actually access.

**What you can take away:**

- A quick filter for the charts: a new package, 17+, in-app purchases up to $99.99, charting in only four English-speaking countries, rating count above 5% of installs, a shell LLC plus a personal gmail as developer, and a website identical to others. Put those together and you're looking at a paid chat front, not a dating category that's taking off.

- The category-bar gap is real: 7 thousand installs gets you into the top 50 of US Social free. If you have a legitimate product that already belongs in Social (an interest community, friend chat, a small-group activity app), Social charts more easily than you'd expect, and you can trade that chart position for some free exposure.

- Launching several apps under one template after proving it with one is standard for this kind of team. When you see one of these apps, search the exact title text from its website; you'll often find a whole family of siblings.

**Signs you've misread it:** (1) Nayvi is still charting and not taken down six months from now, and reviews start mentioning users who actually got dates, which would mean this is more than upsell and deserves a second look. (2) A plainly branded, real-user niche dating app holds a top 100 spot in US Social grossing for three months, which would show the category's low bar can be won by a legitimate product.

Competitors

| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NightSpark-Local Dating & Chat | Android | 2026-09-03 | 63k installs, 7-day +22k, US Social grossing #14 | Same site template, same pricing, same model, 25 days earlier and 8x the volume. Nayvi is just a reskin. |
| Groove Lite:Chat & Meet(Inside Mobile) | Android | 2025-08-29 | 310k installs, US Social grossing #46 | Same review writers (they've pasted each other's app names), older and bigger |
| Hugi / HapEnd / HiZone | Android | 2022 | About 95–1.19M installs each, US Social grossing #17–30 | Older apps with the same playbook, two orders of magnitude bigger |
| Kizme / Seylo / Bonbo / Muah | Android | 2026-05~09 | 2.4–86k installs, US Social grossing #43–83 | Same-period clones with similar templates. Nayvi is the newest and smallest. |
| Tinder / Bumble / Hinge | Android | 2012–2016 | 100M-scale | Real two-sided networks and brands in Dating. Nayvi runs one-sided paid chat and doesn't compete head-on. |

Where users come from

- Inferred **Paid acquisition (US, UK, CA, AU)** : zero buzz yet hundreds to over a thousand installs a day from late October, charting only in 4 high-ARPU English-speaking countries. Google, Meta and TikTok ad libraries show no tracked campaigns.

- **Confirmed** **Category arbitrage (dating app in Social)** : about 7 thousand installs gets it into US Social free #43 and grossing #81 (chart_rank 11-06)

- **Confirmed** **Paid reviews / rating prompts** : rating-to-install ratio ≈9%, 5★ at 86%; two five-star reviews name 'Groove Lite,' and Groove Lite has five-star reviews naming 'Nayvi'; the developer only replies to five-star reviews

- **Verified** **Clone matrix and Play similar-app links** : the official site shares NightSpark's code; from 11-02 on, Play's similar-apps list puts it next to Kizme, Supervibe and others (AppInsider)

- Inferred **Creators / social / press** : no relevant TikTok videos; X: 60 days, 0 posts; no press coverage

## Nayvi: Chat & Date (com.nayvi.android): why it's charting

> Store: Google Play | Developer: Corevia Technologies LLC (developer email vuthuyhoen@gmail.com, support contactus@coreviatechnologiesllc.com) | Listed: 2026-09-28 | Category: Social, Mature 17+ | Research date: 2026-11-06

### Bottom line

Nayvi hasn't built a new product. It's a newly scaling number in a stack of "paid chat and dating" shells. It shares **the same website code** as NightSpark, the biggest one in this batch, and **the same review-writing crew** as Groove Lite. Its chart position comes from a playbook that already works, not from the product itself:

- It sits in the Social category, where the bar to chart is low;

- It charts only in the US, UK, Canada and Australia;

- IAP runs $4.99–$99.99. Right after signup, "women" message you first, and you're asked to pay after a few exchanges;

- Lots of templated five-star reviews. Ratings equal about 9% of installs.

It's still small: 7,671 installs total, and AppGazers estimates under $5K in IAP revenue (10-05–11-04). The chart rank looks good because Social is an easy category to chart in. It doesn't mean the app is making money yet.

**Timeline** (AppInsider): 09-28 listed → 10-13 shipped 1.0.1 → 10-24 first third-party listing (meaning volume only started in late October) → 10-31 entered US Social Top Free top 200 → 11-02 Play "similar apps" starts pairing it with Kizme, Supervibe and others → 11-03 entered US Social Top Grossing.

**Abnormal rating ratio** : 716 / 7,671 ≈ 9.3%, and new ratings each day equal about 7–10% of new installs. Normal apps usually sit around 1%. NightSpark, same template, is about 6%; Kizme-type apps about 5%.

### 2. Real user experience: reviews are almost all templated praise, with a few real users calling it a "bot"

11-06 pulled the latest 150 reviews each for us/gb/ca/au via google-play-scraper; after dedupe, 59 remain (10-16 to 11-05):

- By stars: 5★ 51 reviews, 4★ 3, 2★ 1, 1★ 5.

- **Most five-star reviews are long paragraphs in the same style** , e.g. "Nayvi is an interesting app with a simple way to discover profiles...", "I just installed this app out of curiosity...", "The app has potential to become even better with regular updates". They rarely mention anything specific. They reword the store description (meet singles nearby, at your own pace, share photos) and repeat it.

- **Evidence one: shared writers.** Two of Nayvi's five-star reviews name other apps directly: "I found **Groove Lite** quite convenient to explore..." (10-31) and "...would make **Groove Lite** even more appealing" (11-04). Going the other way, a 11-04 five-star review on Groove Lite's US listing (com.groove.lite, Inside Mobile) says "I really enjoy using **Nayvi** ...". So the two apps use **the same paid review writers** , and the writers pasted the wrong app name.

- The developer replies only to five-star reviews (20 replies across 59 reviews), all 4–5★. No replies to one-star reviews.

- **Real user reviews** (quoted):
    - "All bots, relentless sending adult content saying the exact same 'upgrade your account babe'. it's not even good AI conversation"(11-05,1★)
    - "No real people to find on this app. Just barkers promissing hot meet-ups as soon as you buy premium"(11-01,1★)
    - "Too many gals trying to make you get the premium package... Going to report you to the Federal Trade Commission"(10-17,1★)
    - "bots pressuring purchase"(10-16,1★)
    - "are profiles even local. don't look like it... another rip off"(11-04,2★)
    - "only gave 5 stars as i ran out of likes ... need to pay"(11-05,5★)
    - "Great features and a smooth interface, but the premium plans are a bit expensive"(10-27)
    - "Great app lot's of hot horny ladies here" / "good ladies"(5★)

**Business model** : same as NightSpark's report (out/play_com.nightspark.android.md). Male users who sign up get liked and messaged by women profiles listed as "nearby". The chats quickly turn sexual and push users to "upgrade your account". Likes, messages and photos are paywalled, with subscriptions plus one-off IAP up to $99.99. Whether the people chatting are staff, an operations team or AI can't be verified; one user says it's "not even good AI conversation". The terms (nayviapp.com/terms) list subscriptions, paid products and virtual items.

### 3. Competitors and "sibling" apps

**A. Same-template siblings (key finding)**

| App | Developer | Launched | Cumulative installs (11-06) | past 7 days | Evidence linking them to Nayvi |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NightSpark-Local Dating & Chat(com.nightspark.android) | StandardStream LLC(trishaia017@gmail.com) | 2026-09-03 | 63,157 | +21,938 | **The website is the same code** : same title "Where two hearts meet and something beautiful begins.", same subtitle ("The best stories begin with a simple hello... Choose the one who catches your eye and see what fate will bring to you!"), same static asset naming (/statics/hero-1…7, hero-featured, profile, feature-back/front), and the same navigation plus Child Safety and Delete pages. Package names all follow com.<brand>.android; developers are all LLCs with personal gmail addresses; support is contactus@<company domain>; IAP is $4.99–$99.99. US Social Top Grossing #14 |
| Groove Lite:Chat & Meet(com.groove.lite) | Inside Mobile(contactus@thegrooveliteapps.com) | 2025-08-29 | 309,505 | +11,100 | **Same review writers** , who swapped each other's app names; support emails also follow the contactus@ pattern. US Social Top Grossing #46 |

Nayvi listed 25 days after NightSpark, with the website copied and only the logo, images and brand name changed. That fits the usual pattern of one operator or one outsourcing shop batch-launching new shells. Whether they're the same company is **unverified** , but the template, review channel and pricing are identical.

**B. Other paid chat and dating shells on the same playbook** (all in Play's Social category; US Social Top Grossing 11-06; googleplay library)

- Older apps: Hugi (20.2B installs, #17), HapEnd (2.02B, #21), HiZone (2.02B, #30), LitUp (2024-12.6M, #29), Yooppe (20.2B, #64), Joymeet (20.2B, #65)

- Newer apps from 2026: Muah (05-1.89M, #43), Kizme (07-653k, #44), PeekMeet (07-344k, #90), Bonbo (08-630k, #80), Seylo (09-524k, #83), AfterDark (10-514k, #78), Avenora (08-522k, #68)

- In the US Social Top Grossing top 100 on 11-06, roughly 10 shells of this kind launched in the past 2026 years. Nayvi is the **newest, with the fewest installs** of them.

**C. Mainstream dating** : Tinder, Bumble and Hinge sit in the Dating category with hundreds of millions of installs, and earn from real two-sided networks and subscriptions. Nayvi doesn't compete with them head-on.

**D. Web** : paid adult chat and "local dating" sites have existed for a long time (chatdate.app and similar). Not investigated in depth.

**Conclusion** : Nayvi's category has no shortage of competitors, and Nayvi isn't the first, or even the first on its own template line. The only thing that sets it apart from its peers is that it's new. It's 5 weeks old and is at the stage where budget is being added.

### 4. Where users come from: growth tactics

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed? |
|---|---|---|
| Paid acquisition | With no brand, press, or content buzz, the app suddenly started getting hundreds to thousands of installs a day in late October, and only showed up on charts in 4 high-ARPU countries: the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. That fits paid acquisition. Installs jumped every other day (10-31 +1,549, 11-03 +2,239, with the days in between at 0, a Play data refresh delay). Our Google, Meta, and TikTok ad libraries have no record of it (it isn't on the adwatch list). Searches by package name, domain, and Corevia each return 0 results. | Unconfirmed (strong inference) |
| Category arbitrage | The dating product is filed under Social, not Dating. About 7 thousand cumulative installs is enough to reach US Social Top Free #43 and Top Grossing #81. | Confirmed |
| Review farming and rating prompts | Ratings/installs ≈ 9%; 5★ is 86% of reviews; only 46 written reviews; five-star long reviews are highly templated; reviews name Groove Lite, and Groove Lite's reviews name Nayvi; the developer replies only to five-star reviews. | Confirmed (the swapped names are direct evidence); payment method unverified |
| Matrix and shared template | Shares website code with NightSpark and writers with Groove Lite. From 11-02 on, Play lists it as similar to Kizme, Supervibe and others, which earns it traffic from similar-app recommendations. | Template reuse confirmed; whether it's the same entity is unverified |
| Content, creators, social | TikTok (TikHub search "nayvi app") returns no relevant videos; X (x-radar, 60 days) shows 0 posts; the only web presence is auto-indexed pages on AppBrain, Apptopia, CNET downloads, AppInsider and AppGazers. | Confirmed none |
| Press, celebrities, platform events | Not found. | Confirmed none |

**How the money comes back** : users hit adult flirting and a paywall right after signup, so monetization happens on day one. Top single-purchase revenue is $99.99, and the same user can pay repeatedly. CPI in the US, UK, Canada and Australia is high, so it only pays back if first-week conversion is strong enough. Nayvi is now charting #81 in US Social Top Grossing, so people are paying, but AppGazers puts its revenue for the last 30 days at under $5K. It is still early in testing and scaling, so whether it pays back is not clear yet. NightSpark, which uses the same template, has already shown the model can reach the $3–150k monthly revenue AppGazers estimates, which is likely why the operator keeps launching new apps.

### 5. What's the differentiation, and is it why it broke out?

**No product differentiation.** The website copies NightSpark: the copy, pricing, compliance pages and the complaints in the one-star reviews all match the same clones. If there is any difference, it is only "a new package name and a new developer entity." That is part of the playbook itself:

- a new app starts with a clean rating (4.8) and no accumulated one-star reviews;

- the entities are spread out, so one app being pulled or reported does not take the others down;

- every new app gets the exposure Play gives new apps, plus the advantage of a low-bar Social category.

So the reason it works **is not differentiation but copying** : take a template that already makes money (NightSpark reached #14 in US Social Top Grossing within two months), reskin it as is, then buy traffic and fake reviews.

### 6. How many people have seen it

- There is no TrustMRR listing, no founder showing revenue, no press coverage, 0 posts on X, no TikTok content, only auto-generated pages on app data aggregator sites.

- The developer entity is murky: searching "Corevia Technologies LLC" turns up a Facebook page claiming to build "AI-powered platforms across health, education, faith" along with several companies of the same name. The recall card mentions App Store exam apps such as NCLEX Plus; this was not verified and is probably just a name collision. The developer email is a Gmail address with a Vietnamese-style name, matching the "private Gmail plus shell LLC" pattern seen in NightSpark (trishaia017@gmail), Seylo and other peers.

- Verdict: **the Nayvi brand is not known yet, but the niche it sits in, paid chat-and-dating shells in English-speaking markets, is a publicly known playbook in going-global circles and is already crowded** . Hugi and HapEnd have been around since 2022, and about 2026 new ones have appeared in 10 years.

### 7. What others can borrow (and the risks)

- Neutral tactics worth borrowing:
    - once a template works, copy it right away under a new entity and new package name to spread risk and get more launch exposure;
    - park a dating product in an adjacent low-bar category like Social to arbitrage the charts;
    - target only 4 high-ARPU English-speaking countries;
    - set up compliance pages (child safety, account deletion) from day one to reduce takedown risk.

- Not worth copying: fake profiles or AI posing as real people in chats, and paid fake reviews (which get exposed by sloppy give-aways like the same ghostwriter across accounts). These violate Google Play's deceptive-behavior and review policies, users are already threatening to report it to the FTC, and shells like this usually last only a few months.

### 8. Still unclear

- Which channel it buys traffic on, how much, and at what CPI: none of the three ad libraries track it.

- Whether Corevia Technologies LLC, StandardStream LLC (NightSpark) and Inside Mobile (Groove Lite) are the same operator: the websites share code and the review writers are the same, but there is no corporate-level evidence.

- Whether the chat partners are real people paid per chat, operators, or AI.

- Actual revenue: AppGazers estimates < $5K per month, but what revenue corresponds to #81 in US Social Top Grossing has not been verified.

- Whether there is an iOS version: the iTunes API returned no results that day.
