# "ORG Keyboard" with 190k installs a month: the keyword belongs to someone else, and the traffic was captured by a Vietnamese studio

**What it is** A four-in-one Android music instrument: ORG oriental keyboard, piano, guitar, and drums, monetized with ads.

**Why it took off** On TikTok in Indonesia and elsewhere, phone-keyboard tutorials with millions of views kept telling people to search "ORG" on Play. A studio near Hanoi used three developer accounts to publish nearly identical apps one after another, taking several spots under that keyword, and is very likely buying ads too.

**C** **How to play it:** Don't copy ORG. Learn its keyword method: find a niche where a top app has already turned its name into the category term and creators on TikTok keep teaching it, then build a simplified version aimed at Android users in emerging markets. As a solo dev, make the version with fewer ads and better local voices, and stand out from the same-category apps buried in ads.

Grade C: the playbook is an open secret among Vietnamese and South Asian tool-app studios. The ORG keyword is already occupied by one studio with three accounts, and several copycats follow it. Replicating it means multiple developer accounts and the risk of mass takedowns on Play. The keyword-picking logic is worth learning, but following the trend isn't worth it. Almost no one knows about it

An Android keyboard app, listed only a month ago and never updated, climbed music charts in Indonesia and South Asia to 190k installs. It has no new features. It took off because people search "ORG": in rural Indonesia, weddings need a keyboard player, and people who can't afford a real instrument learn on their phones, with creators on TikTok teaching it constantly. A Vietnamese studio used three developer accounts to publish three nearly identical apps on this keyword. Below: how it gets installs, how it makes money, and whether it's worth following.

### One video with 2.58M views, and a keyword people search for

In 2025 Sep 26, Indonesian TikTok creator @sobat_tate replied to a comment, telling people to set up an electronic keyboard app called ORG 24 on their phone. The last line of the subtitles reads: "The app is called ORG 24, just download it from the Play Store or App Store." The video now has 2.58M views (TikTok, checked 11-06). His earlier videos, "how to play dangdut rhythms on ORG" and "how to install mp3 into ORG," also drew several hundred thousand to 1.5 million views.

This kind of video is a small cottage industry in Indonesia. Another account, @musicorgantelepon (roughly "phone keyboard music"), posts one every few days, playing dangdut on a phone. Its June 28 video's subtitles read: "No real keyboard? Playing on a phone sounds good too." Its Sep 28 video reads: "How does it sound? Like a real keyboard?" The hashtags #org2024, #keyboardoprek, and #dangdut are full of this content, and there are similar tutorials in Arabic and Spanish.

All these tutorials teach ORG 24, made by the Iranian company Sofeh Sunrise. It launched in 2016, has been installed 228M times, and has thousands of local sounds and rhythms for Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and Indonesian music. But people watching the videos open the Play Store and often just type "ORG."

In 2026 Oct 6, a developer account called Smart Experiences listed "ORG Keyboard: Pro Music Studio" on Play.

### What it is

A four-in-one phone instrument: ORG keyboard, piano, guitar, and drums, plus recording and playback. The first line of the store blurb is "ORG KEYBOARD: YOUR POCKET MUSIC STUDIO," and "ORG" appears a dozen-plus times across the title, subtitle, and description. It lacks ORG 24's localized sounds and rhythm arrangements, and doesn't support MIDI. The version number has been 1.0.1 since launch.

### How fast it grew

| Date | Total installs | Score |
|---|---|---|
| 10-17 | About 5,500 (third-party estimate) | — |
| 10-29 | 65,076 | 439 |
| 11-01 | 108,492 | 626 |
| 11-03 | 174,309 | 711 |
| 11-06 | 190,581 | 807 |

The figures are Google Play install counts, recorded daily. In the last 7 days it added 126k. Play refreshes install counts in batches every few days, so single-day figures mean little; the trend is what matters: a few thousand a day in late October, over ten thousand a day in early November.

One signal doesn't add up, though: **installs are rising while chart rank is falling** . In the Music & Audio free chart in Indonesia, it went from 10-30 rank 18,11-06 to 32; over the same period, the number of countries where it charted fell from 15 to 8 (besides Indonesia: Malaysia, India, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Thailand, Nigeria). Third-party Similarweb data puts it at 33 in Pakistan's category chart. Installs rising while rank falls could mean the growth comes from countries not tracked, that it's buying ads, or simply that install counts were refreshed late. From the outside, there's no way to tell which.

### How it makes money: ads, lots of them

The store listing says "Contains ads" and in-app purchases ($4.99–$29.99 each), but it has never charted on any grossing chart, and third-party estimates put monthly IAP revenue below $5,000. Most of the money comes from ads.

Users say it bluntly. The top reviews on the listing (11-06 viewed on the Indonesia store in English):

> "Totally unusable, bombarded with ads from start to finish. Don't bother, not worth it. I'd give it 0 stars if I could." (10-17,23 people found this helpful) "Waited through ten thousand ads and never played a single note. I thought I downloaded a piano keyboard, not an ad barrage." (11-03) "More like a small app that lives in an ad pool." (10-29)

Yet its overall rating is 4.6 (store listing, 825 ratings), and most of those ratings are star-only with no written text. An app that users call "full of ads" holding a 4.6 rating most likely means the app pops up a prompt asking "Do you like it?" first and only sends users to the store if they tap yes. **Inference**

That's the ledger for this kind of app: ship it, don't iterate, and put all the effort into getting it found, installed, and watched with ads. Whether users stick around matters much less.

### Where users come from

| Source | How we can tell | How sure are we? |
|---|---|---|
| Searching "ORG" on Play | The title and description are stuffed with ORG; the countries where it charts are exactly the biggest ORG markets: Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Turkey, Saudi Arabia. | Certain |
| Tutorials made by others on TikTok | The million-view videos above teach ORG 24, but they created search demand for the word "ORG." It has no TikTok content of its own. | Demand is clear; it made no content itself |
| One studio occupying spots with multiple accounts | See next section | Certain |
| Paid acquisition | Installs accelerating while rank drops fits the pattern of paid acquisition. | Nothing found |
| Cross-promotion from older apps under the same account | Drum-pad apps under the same developer account have 3.3M installs, and a guzheng app has 620k; the "More by" section on store pages lets them send traffic to each other. | Inferred |

### The real play: three accounts, three Vietnamese devs, one template

Scroll down the Play results for the same kind of app and you'll find three nearly identical ORG keyboards:

| App | Developer account | Launched | Installs (11-06) |
|---|---|---|---|
| ORG Keyboard: Play & Tutorial | SCA Software | 08-30 | 1.19M |
| ORG: Real Music Keyboard | Tokii Apps | 09-20 | 188k |
| ORG Keyboard: Pro Music Studio | Smart Experiences | 10-06 | 190k |

All three accounts use the same shell: the websites are all "name.top", the privacy policy links are all `/policy.php?appname=…&store=…`, the support emails all start with sp, and the package names are spelled almost the same way. Around 10 developer accounts on this same shell turn up, all making these: ORG keyboards, guzheng, drum pads, WhatsApp stickers, AR filters, retro cameras, app locks.

The "Developer info" at the bottom of the store page gives the game away. 11-06 Open it: Smart Experiences is registered to a Vietnamese person in Đông Anh district on the edge of Hanoi, SCA Software to another person in Bắc Ninh province, and Tokii Apps to a third in Hưng Yên province, all within an hour's drive of Hanoi. Three accounts under three different names, done in exactly the same way. The most likely explanation **(inference)** is a Hanoi tool-app studio opening accounts under several people's names.

The benefits are plain:

- **Take several slots under one keyword.** A user searching "ORG" may find several of this studio's apps side by side (inference; we didn't check results country by country). On Similarweb's Pakistan chart, Smart Experiences ranks #33 and SCA's app #34, right next to each other.

- **Stagger launches by a few weeks.** 08-30, 09-20, 10-06: as one app's rank starts sliding, the next one picks up.

- **If one account gets banned, the others keep running.**

So it isn't competing with the SCA and Tokii apps. It's the same play, three cards played in sequence. The real competitor is ORG 24 itself (7 days +240k), plus older copycats that started riding this term 2021 years ago, like Beat Blend Labs' ORG Music Keyboard Simulator (5.2M installs, 7 days +306k) and R-ORG 2026 (4.21M). Among the copycats riding this term, this one ranks last in scale.

### Why it's trending now

In one line: **the demand was built over ten years by someone else; this app just set up a few more stalls under the right search term.** ORG 24 turned "ORG" into a category name; TikTok tutorials in Indonesia, the Middle East and Latin America keep sending new searches to the term; this studio uses a working template and relays three accounts to capture the traffic; the users are people in emerging markets on cheap Android phones, suited to ad monetization, with the ad revenue then used for paid acquisition. The product itself barely matters here.

### If it were you

**Verdict:** You can learn a playbook from this, but following it isn't worth it. The approach has been openly known among tool-app studios in Vietnam, India and Pakistan for a while. The "ORG" term already has one studio holding it with three accounts, plus several older copycats. It's hard for a newcomer to find room.

**Who it suits:** Teams already running a tool-app portfolio on Play, with several established developer accounts, ready instrument templates, and a clear payback model for ad monetization and paid acquisition. For you, the thing to learn is the keyword selection method. You don't need to fight over ORG itself.

**Who it doesn't suit:** Solo indie devs with one developer account (you can't take multiple slots, and if Play flags your app as "duplicate content / spam", you lose everything). People trying to build a good product and grow through word of mouth (reviews in this category are full of complaints about ads, yet ad-heavy apps keep growing, and it's unclear how much a better experience would actually bring in). People who care about brand and long-term retention.

**How to do it:** Don't copy ORG. Use its method to find the next term. Concretely: look for a category where a leading product has made its own name into a category search term, such as Octapad, guzheng, or Shimeji desktop pets, and where people on TikTok keep teaching others to use that top app. Then build a simplified all-in-one version, write the title and description around that term, and target Android users in Indonesia, South Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. If you want to do what the leaders haven't done well, the direction is clear: ride the same term but with half the ads, with local sounds that actually work (for example, dangdut or koplo rhythm packs), monetize through in-app purchases or rewarded video, and separate yourself from the apps full of interstitials. This path is slow, but it doesn't mean racing a portfolio of accounts.

**How to get users:** Start with store search. You can borrow from the million-view TikTok tutorials: find mid-tier Indonesian creators like @musicorgantelepon and have them film a dangdut demo with your app. That's cheaper than running ads. If you plan to buy installs, first test Google App Campaigns with a small Indonesian budget and check whether ad revenue per install can cover the cost.

**When to get in:** There's no rush. Traffic on these terms is steady (ORG 24 is still growing after ten years), but each copycat app seems to last only a few months. This studio's three ORG apps launched two to five weeks apart, and the one you're looking at is already losing rank.

**What would mean I got this wrong:** ① If three months from now (2027 February) this app is still in the top 50 of Indonesia's Music & Audio free chart, with the version still at 1.0.1, that means it can ride the term long-term without updates, the bar is lower than I thought, and it's worth following more aggressively. ② Conversely, if Play bans these .top developer accounts in batches during this period, the window for the multi-account approach is closing, and only the single-account approach makes sense. ③ If an ORG app with fewer ads and better local sounds breaks into Indonesia's top 20 through word of mouth within six months, the category rewards product quality, and it's worth doing seriously.

Competitors

| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ORG 24: Your Music(Sofeh Sunrise) | Android | 2016-07 | 228M installs, +240k in 7 days | Category originator: localized sounds and rhythm libraries, MIDI, tutorial ecosystem. This app just borrows the category name. |
| ORG Music Keyboard Simulator(Beat Blend Labs) | Android | 2021-05 | 5.2M installs, +306k in 7 days | An earlier copycat in the same category, much larger in scale. This app has similar features but launched later. |
| ORG Keyboard: Play & Tutorial(SCA Software) | Android | 2026-08-30 | 1.19M installs, +104k in 7 days | Possibly another account from the same studio, nearly identical template, launched 5 weeks earlier. |
| ORG: Real Music Keyboard(Tokii Apps) | Android | 2026-09-20 | 188k installs, #14 in Indonesia's category chart | Possibly the same studio, same template, 2 weeks earlier |
| R-ORG 2026(Doozle)/ Mobile Org 2026(Alyaka) | Android | 2014 / 2025-02 | 4.21M / 430k | An older copycat named after a year. No essential difference from this app. |
| General piano apps like Perfect Piano and Learn Piano - Real Keyboard | Android | 2014–2022 | 100M to 190M | Focused on piano learning, doesn't ride the ORG oriental keyboard term |

Where users come from

- **Verified** **Store search / ASO, riding the "ORG" category term** : title, package name and description stuffed with ORG Keyboard/Simulator. Charting in the Music & Audio free charts of Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Turkey and Saudi Arabia (chart_rank). Similarweb Pakistan chart #33, with the same studio's SCA app ranking right next to it at #34.

- Inference **TikTok category content (made by others, not the app itself)** : Indonesian @sobat_tate's "aplikasi orgen ORG 24" series, individual videos with 1M to 4.5M views, plus lots of #org2024 #keyboardoprek #dangdut content (TikHub 2026-11-06) sends demand to the "ORG" search term. No TikTok content from the app itself was found.

- **Verified** **Multi-account portfolio, taking several search slots** : Smart Experiences, SCA Software, Tokii Apps, Smart mobile, Momcenter and 10 other accounts use the same *.top domains, policy.php?appname= privacy pages, and sp…@gmail.com emails, with overlapping product lines (googleplay library).

- Inference **Paid acquisition** : installs are accelerating while chart rank is falling, which fits paid acquisition. The googleads and metaads libraries don't include it (they only track products on our watchlist).

- Inference **Cross-promotion from older apps under the same account, and review prompts** : under the same developer account, Beat Maker has 3.3M installs and Guzheng has 620k; 807 ratings but only 1 written reviews, which looks like an in-app rating prompt.

## Why ORG Keyboard: Pro Music Studio (com.orgmusic.simulator.keyboard) gets traction

> Channel: Google Play | Developer: Smart Experiences (smartexperiences.top) | Store launch: 2026-10-06 | Research date: 2026-11-06

### Bottom line

This isn't a product that "built something new." It's an Android tool-app studio taking one template (ORG electric organ + piano + guitar + drums), putting it under new package names and new developer accounts, and riding **the "ORG" category search term that Sofeh Sunrise's "ORG 24" (227M installs) built up** . The traction comes from existing category demand (Indonesian dangdut "organ tunggal," Arabic/Turkish oriental electric organ, and Latin American cumbia communities that have long taught people on TikTok to use ORG-style apps), plus store search and ASO, and probably paid acquisition. There is essentially no differentiation. What drives installs is the distribution play and account replication, not the product.

### 1. Data (our googleplay library, as of 2026-11-06)

(The first three rows, 10-17, 10-21, 10-28, are AppstoreSpy estimates; the rest we collected ourselves.)

| Date | Total installs | Daily increase | Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-17 | 5,478 | — | — |
| 2026-10-21 | 24,738 | +15,854 | — |
| 2026-10-28 | 65,076 | — | — |
| 2026-10-29 | 65,076 | — | 439 |
| 2026-11-01 | 108,492 | +43,416 | 626 |
| 2026-11-03 | 174,309 | +65,817 | 711 |
| 2026-11-06 | 190,581 | +6,447 | 807 |

- 7 new installs in the last 126k days (app_profile.installs_gain_7d); 10-17 to 10-28 averages roughly 5k per day, and 10-29 to 11-06 averages about 15k per day. Play's install counter refreshes in batches (several days of 0, then a jump of 4–60k in one day), so single-day figures aren't reliable.

- **Chart rank is sliding** : Indonesia Music & Audio Top Free 10-30 went from #18,11-06 to #32; charted countries dropped from 15 to 8 (10-29) (chart_rank). Installs are up while rank is down, which could mean three things: the growth is coming from a store we don't track (Similarweb shows it at #33 on Top Free in Music & Audio in **Pakistan** , and Pakistan is not one of our 30 stores); it's paid acquisition; or it's just refresh lag. We haven't verified which one.

- Rating: 4.23,807 ratings, but only **1 written reviews** (app_snap.written_reviews). Star distribution [62,0,124,124,496] (1→5 stars). Most ratings are star-only with no text, which looks like an in-app rating prompt (unverified).

- Monetization: ad_supported = True, IAP $4.99–$29.99 per item. It has never charted in any top-grossing list. The AppGazers model estimates monthly in-app purchase revenue under $5K. It's reasonable to conclude that it mainly monetizes through ads.

- Version has stayed at 1.0.1 since 10-06 launch, with no updates since. A classic "publish and leave it running."

### 2. Competitors (doing the same thing: ORG/oriental synth keyboard simulators on phones)

| Product | Platform | Launched | Scale (googleplay library, 11-06) | How it differs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ORG 24: Your Music(Sofeh Sunrise) | Android/iOS | 2016-07 | 228M installs, 7 days +240k, #18 in Saudi Arabia's category chart | Category originator: thousands of localized sounds and rhythms (Arabic, Turkish, Persian…), MIDI support, and a YouTube tutorial ecosystem. The "ORG" search term is largely its doing; this app just rides the term. |
| ORG Music Keyboard Simulator(Beat Blend Labs) | Android | 2021-05 | 5.2M, 7 days +306k, #15 in India | Older copycat, also riding the ORG term, much larger in scale |
| R-ORG 2026(Doozle) | Android | 2014 | 4.21M | Older copycat named after a year |
| Mobile Org 2026(Alyaka) | Android | 2025-02 | 430k | Same as above |
| **ORG Keyboard: Play & Tutorial(SCA Software)** | Android | 2026-08-30 | 1.19M, 7 days +104k, #30 in Turkey | **Very likely another account from the same studio** (see section 3), with the same features and copy template, launched 5 weeks earlier |
| **ORG: Real Music Keyboard(Tokii Apps)** | Android | 2026-09-20 | 188k, 7 days +68k, #14 in Indonesia | **Very likely the same studio too** , launched 2 weeks earlier |
| Perfect Piano, Learn Piano - Real Keyboard, Easy Piano Piano88, etc. | Android | 2014–2024 | Tens of millions to hundreds of millions | General piano category, not focused on ORG oriental sounds |

Conclusion: this category is already crowded. This app is a very late copycat, and in scale it ranks last among the players riding the ORG term.

### 3. The key finding: one studio, a string of developer accounts

The library has 10 developer accounts using **the same template** : `<name>.top` domains; privacy policy URLs all `/policy.php?appname=…&store=…`; contact emails all `sp…@gmail.com`; and similar package names (Smart Experiences' `com.learn.guzheng.play.drum.guitar.piano`, Tokii Apps' `com.learn.play.guzheng.drum.guitar.piano`). Their products overlap heavily: ORG keyboards, guzheng, the Beat Maker drum pad, WA stickers, AR filters, retro cameras, app locks.

| Developer account | Domain | Apps in library | Total installs | First listed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Momcenter | mcapp.top | 3 | 11.8M | 2025-10 |
| Smart Experiences (this app) | smartexperiences.top | 6 (AppGazers says 15 total) | 7.2M | 2026-02 |
| Smart mobile | smartmb.top | 6 | 5.5M | 2026-01 |
| SCA Software | scasoftware.top | 5 | 5.49M | 2025-09 |
| Tokii Apps | tokiiapps.top | 8 | 4.46M | 2025-12 |
| Hong Kong Lux Limo / Big Boss Taxi / Ocean Limousine and others | *.top | 2–4 | hundreds of thousands | 2026 |

(Source: googleplay library app.privacy_policy pattern match, 2026-11-06. Calling them "the same company" is an inference based on identical templates; no business registration evidence backs it up.)

The playbook is clear: the same working template, republished under multiple developer accounts **a few weeks apart** (SCA 08-30 → Tokii 09-20 → Smart Experiences 10-06), each one going after the "ORG keyboard" search term and category chart slots. If one account gets demoted or banned, the others keep running; holding several slots under the same keyword also captures more search traffic. On Similarweb's Pakistan chart, this app at #33 sits right next to the SCA app at #34, a direct result of this approach.

### 4. Where users come from

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed? |
|---|---|---|
| Store search / ASO (riding the "ORG" category keyword) | Title, package name, and description repeatedly use ORG Keyboard / Simulator; charting in category rankings in ORG-demand markets like Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia | Confirmed (chart data) |
| Category content on TikTok (not its own) | Indonesian creator @sobat_tate's "aplikasi orgen ORG 24" series, individual videos with 1M to 4.5M views, plenty of content under #org2024 #keyboardoprek #dangdut; similar tutorials exist in Arabic and Spanish (TikHub search 2026-11-06). These videos teach Sofeh's ORG 24, and viewers who search "ORG" on Play then run into same-named apps like this one. | Category demand confirmed; the app itself has no TikTok content |
| Paid acquisition (Google App Campaigns, etc.) | Installs climbed from 65k to 190k over 10 days while its category chart rank was falling; studio account-farm tactics usually come with paid acquisition. The googleads and metaads libraries don't track it (those two only cover listed products, so not finding it there doesn't mean it isn't being advertised). | Unconfirmed |
| Cross-promotion among farm accounts (More by cross-recommendations, in-app recommendations) | Beat Maker under the same developer account has 3.3M installs and Guzheng has 620k, which can send traffic to the new app; it appears in Play's "More by Smart Experiences" recommendation slot. | Speculation, unconfirmed |
| Prompt for ratings | 807 ratings with only 1 written reviews | guessing |

### 5. Visibility

- X search returns nothing in the last 30 days (x-radar result: 0); no press coverage; no public revenue. Only automatically generated aggregator pages such as AppBrain, APKPure, Softonic, Similarweb, and AppGazers.

- But the "ORG keyboard" **category** is hot on TikTok across Indonesia, the Middle East, and Latin America, and in Android tool-studio circles this playbook is already openly known. The same studio has already put 3 accounts on this one keyword.

- Verdict: the product itself is still unknown to most people, but the playbook is already a publicly discussed tactic in small circles.

### 6. Differentiation

Almost nothing. Compared with Sofeh's ORG 24, it has no localized sound library, no rhythm arrangement, and no MIDI; its pitch is just "ORG + piano + guitar + drums in one, simple interface," nearly word-for-word the same as the same studio's SCA and Tokii apps. It works not on differentiation but on: ① ready-made demand for the category keyword; ② copy-paste farming, grabbing multiple search slots; ③ likely paid acquisition combined with ad monetization to recoup costs.

### 7. What others can learn

- Look for niches where a top app turned its category name into a search term (ORG, Guzheng, Octapad, Shimeji-type niches), intercept traffic with a simplified four-in-one template, target low-priced Android users in emerging markets, and monetize through ads.

- Publish the same template across multiple developer accounts a few weeks apart: spreads out ban risk and captures several slots under the same keyword.

- No iteration after launch (only 1.0.1 version in a month), very low cost, all effort goes into ASO and ads.

- Risk: Google Play's Repetitive Content / Spam policies could take down the whole batch; a single app's lifespan may only be a few months, and this one's rank is already sliding.

### 8. Still unclear

- Whether it's running paid acquisition, how much it spends, and its ROI (ad libraries didn't catch it).

- Which countries the growth mainly comes from (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, etc. are not in our regions).

- The company and country behind these .top developer accounts (the emails are all Gmail, and the domain patterns resemble tool studios in Vietnam, India, and Pakistan; unverified).

- Retention and ad revenue; whether the 7-day rank decline is due to reduced spend or a change in ad strategy.
