# A "cleaner + antivirus" template wrapped in 2.66M installs: one person's tool matrix in Pakistan, kept alive by four months of nonstop paid acquisition

**What it is** A free, ad-supported Android phone cleaner with a subscription paywall, branded with "antivirus" in the name.

**Why it took off** The developer first validated in a small category that a subscription paywall could collect money. In June they put the subscription and ad modules into the cleaner, and from July onward they kept spending on user acquisition across a dozen-plus countries, using the anxiety of "my phone is full, I'm afraid of viruses" to drive installs and payments.

**C** **How you could follow it** Don't build another cleaner. Copy the sequence: find a small tool category where users are urgent and willing to pay on the spot, validate subscription conversion with a small budget, and once it works, re-skin it and move to a larger adjacent category. Buy cheap traffic from Google app ads in low-cost regions and collect revenue from high-paying regions.

Grade C: the sequence of "validate a subscription paywall in a small category first, then re-skin and buy traffic in a bigger category" is worth learning. But cleaner + antivirus already has hundreds of competitors, including Codeway, which is more than ten times larger, and it carries Google Play policy risk around fake antivirus claims and permissions, so copying it isn't worth it. Few people know about it yet

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations)

Phone Cleaner: AntiVirus does exactly what hundreds of cleaner apps do, rated 3.7, and US users in the reviews call it a scam. Yet from July onward it gained half a million to six hundred thousand installs a month, reached 6M cumulative by November 2.66, and for the first time squeezed into India's tools top-grossing chart. It's built by a solo developer in Punjab, Pakistan, who first got a subscription paywall working in a small app that restores deleted messages, then moved the same setup into the large cleaner category. What's worth studying is this sequence, not this app.

### A one-star review with 251 likes

In Sep 2026 9, a US user named Barbara Newman gave it one star on Google Play:

"all I see is you charging more and money. I have Total Ave on other devices. I am tired of this type of Scam." 251 people marked it helpful.

The next day, another user, Cindy Bukowsky, wrote: "Said free cleaning, I didn't see it delete anything, it just keeps harassing me." 238 people marked it helpful. These two reviews are still the most prominent ones on its store page (Google Play US store, 11-06).

Judging by the names and tone, the people leaving these reviews are likely older users worried about their phones getting viruses. That is this app's business: get people who fear their phone is "full" or "infected" to install, then ask them to pay inside.

### What it is

The store page lists the standard feature set for this category: clean junk files, scan large files and folders, check APKs and rarely used apps, view Wi-Fi and battery info, plus an "Antivirus Protection" item. To "antivirus" it requests permission to read the full list of installed apps on the phone, and the end of the description has a disclaimer paragraph explaining this.

Free, with ads; in-app purchase priced at "$13.99 per item" (Google Play store page, 11-06). Following the category convention this is probably a weekly subscription; the billing period is unverified.

### How the 2.66M installs built up, step by step

The store lists the launch date as Sep 2, but that isn't the real start. Version history on third-party download sites shows version 1.0.0 was released in Apr 15; Sep 2 is more likely the date of a rename and opening to the US store, which reset things. The earliest US reviews appear right around Sep 9 and 10 (inferred).

Per the third-party daily estimates:

| Timeline | Total installs | Average per day in that stretch |
|---|---|---|
| mid-May | 10k | — |
| Jul 8 | 250k | About 5,500 |
| Jul 9 | one day added 65k, the floodgates opened | |
| Aug 9 | 790k | About 18k |
| Sep 10 | 1.36M | About 18k |
| Oct 13 | 2.02M | About 20k |
| Nov 6 | 2.66M | About 27k |

May through October figures are third-party estimates; Nov 6 is the Google Play install count. Between 10-29 and 11-06, over these 8 days, installs actually rose by 257k.

A detail before the floodgates opened: in version 21 on Jun 1.0.4, the install package jumped from 11 MB to 39 MB and has stayed that size since. The extra 28 MB most likely holds ad aggregation, the subscription paywall and antivirus scanning modules (not verified by unpacking). Load the monetization code in first, then start scaling traffic about two weeks later. That's the typical rhythm of working out the payback first and only then paying for users (inferred).

Another trait is stability. For four months it added 55 to 650k installs a month, and it kept accelerating after October. No cliff after a five-day chart run.

### Where users come from

Almost certainly bought, though I couldn't trace the channel.

- **Ratings are suspiciously low** : over these 8 days it gained 257k installs but only 267 ratings, roughly one rating per 960 installs, 1 people rating. Users who find an app on their own in the store don't stay this quiet.

- **The chart rank doesn't explain the volume** : 11-06 It's on the Utilities Top Free charts in the Philippines, Nigeria, Japan, Malaysia, India, Canada, South Africa, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and 9 other countries, but its rank in each is between 104 and 188. A rank like that can't bring in 20K+ installs a day.

- **Wide spread, no single spike** : a dozen-plus countries with it parked in the mid-to-lower chart range. The shape looks like global Google app-ad spend (inferred). No creatives turned up in the ad libraries I checked, though those only cover part of the advertisers.

- **No content, no word of mouth** : I found no TikTok or X videos or posts about it, and no press coverage.

### Where the money comes from

It makes money two ways: subscriptions, with 11-06 its first appearance on the India Utilities Top Grossing chart at #132; and ads, with the store listing marked "Contains ads" and the developer site essentially a hosted page for ad-platform authorization checks.

Four months of sustained paid acquisition suggests each user brings back enough money to cover acquisition cost (inferred). No public figures on the subscription/ad split.

### Who's behind it

The developer page lists Muhammad Muzmmal, with an address in a village in Layyah district, Punjab, Pakistan, and a Gmail contact. The account started publishing apps 2019 years ago, has 9 apps, and about 17.7M cumulative installs (Google Play, 11-06):

| App | Total installs | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| All Video Downloader - HD & 4K | 8.87M | The old business: an ad-monetized downloader |
| GPS Earth Maps Live Satellite | 5.87M | The old business: a maps app, live for over 7 years |
| Phone Cleaner: AntiVirus | 2.66M | The protagonist of this piece, 7 days +257k |
| Recover Deleted Messages App | 300k | Live for 136 days. From day 11-03 to 11-06 it sat at #4 on South Korea's top grossing tools chart and #15 in Japan |

The last line is the key. A "Recover Deleted Messages" app with only 300k installs reached #4 on South Korea's top grossing tools chart, so this family's subscription paywall converts well. The cleaner moves that already-validated playbook into a much larger category. Its growth runs an order of magnitude faster than the account's other apps.

### Who it's competing with

Cleaner and antivirus apps are one of the most crowded categories on Google Play. 11-06 tools in the utilities category have names with cleaner or virus that are still climbing this week. It's not a big one in there:

| Product | Launched | Total installs | Compared with alternatives |
|---|---|---|---|
| Files by Google, phone-built-in managers | — | Preinstalled | Free, no ads, full feature set |
| AVG / Avast / Norton360 | 2010–2011 | 497M / 432M / 103M | A real antivirus engine and a brand |
| Cleanup: Phone Storage Cleaner(Codeway) | 2025-11 | 36.5M, 7 days +959k | A big Turkish company, also subscriptions plus paid acquisition, 14x the size |
| Antivirus Pure(Wepayme Lab) | 2025-09 | 11.6M, 7 days +730k | Also antivirus-led, also targeting emerging markets |
| AI Cleaner(iKame) | 2026-03 | 11M | #3 on India's top grossing tools chart, where this one is #132 |
| AntiVirus Clean Master(Blooming Techno) | 2026-02 | 8.15M | Identical "cleaner + antivirus" positioning |
| CleanMax(Nitrogen Cloudless) | 2026-06 | 5.95M, 7 days +710k | Launched in the same period, same markets, growing nearly 3x as fast |
| Antivirus Expert / Clean Ultra / Smart Cleaner | 2026-08 | 2.26M / 1.12M / 910k | In August alone, several template packs of the same kind launched |

Google Play installs, 11-06.

It has no feature nobody else offers, and its rank in every country sits well below the leading competitors. It differs in two ways: its name ties cleaning and antivirus together, selling the fear of getting infected, and it has held steady growth for four months. Anyone can copy both.

### If it were you

**My verdict** : this app itself isn't worth chasing. Cleaner plus antivirus is already saturated, and it carries policy risk. What's worth learning is the order behind it: first get the subscription paywall working in a small category where users pay, then move the same template into a big category with paid acquisition.

**Who it's for** : small teams already running Google app ads who can do the math on 7-day and 30-day returns, and anyone with a few tools templates looking to reuse them in a new category.

**Who it's not for** : indie devs who can't run paid acquisition and count on store search to bring users, people who want to build a product users genuinely love and keep, and anyone unwilling to use grey-area "scare users into paying" hooks.

**How to do it** : don't build another cleaner. The first step is to copy its approach: find a small category like "Recover Deleted Messages", where users are in a hurry, willing to pay on the spot, and big companies can't be bothered. Test subscription conversion with a small budget, and see whether it can crack the tools top grossing chart in high-paying markets like Japan and South Korea. Once that works, re-skin the same paywall and ad modules and move them into an adjacent category with an install volume an order of magnitude larger.

**How to acquire users** : this playbook has one answer: Google app ads. Buy installs cheaply in places like the Philippines, Nigeria and India, and earn subscription revenue in places like Japan, South Korea, Canada and Saudi Arabia. Test with a small budget, and scale up only once the returns add up.

**Deadline** : no fixed date. The real clock is Google Play policy. It is tightening on fake virus warnings, permissions to read the full list of installed apps, and subscription disclosures, so packs like this can be throttled or delisted at any time.

**Signs I got this wrong** : (1) installs keep climbing steadily after paid acquisition stops, which would mean cleaner plus antivirus has real organic demand and a solo dev could make it work; (2) it or similar antivirus/cleaner packs get delisted in batches within a month or two, meaning the path is closed and there's nothing to learn; (3) "Recover Deleted Messages" drops off the Japan and South Korea grossing charts, or the cleaner can't climb India's grossing chart, meaning this family's paywall isn't that profitable and steady paid acquisition won't last.

Where users come from

- Inferred **Sustained paid acquisition (most likely global programmatic buys such as Google App Campaigns)** : from 07-09 onward, a steady 55–650k installs a month with no cliff; at the same time, mid-to-lower ranks on tools charts in 9–13 countries; about 960 installs for every 1 ratings; not in the Meta, Google or TikTok ad libraries

- Inferred **Scare-style "virus / storage full" creatives** : the name includes AntiVirus and it requests QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES; US older-user reviews say it "said it would clean for free … harassing me" (238 helpful votes) and "tired of this type of Scam" (251 helpful votes); r/antivirus on Reddit has posts about pop-up virus warnings pushing cleaner installs, but I can't confirm this package is one of them

- **Confirmed** **Renaming / expanding storefronts / store keywords** : APKPure shows 1.0.0 was 04-15, the store launch date was reset to 09-02, and US reviews start from 09-09; the name and package stack phone cleaner / junk files / storage cleaner / antivirus

- Inferred **Cross-promotion from older apps on the same account** : the same account has a 8.87M video downloader and a 5.87M maps app that could send traffic over, but I found no direct evidence

- Inferred **Content / creators / media** : none found on TikTok, X (x-radar, 60 days) or in the press

## Why Phone Cleaner: AntiVirus (com.phone.cleaner.junkfiles.storagecleaner) came up in the results

> Channel: Google Play / Tools (TOOLS) · Developer: 8th Generation Apps -Global Earth Map Live apps (Pakistani indie developer Muhammad Muzmmal, Layyah, Punjab) · Research date 2026-11-06

### Bottom line

The product itself is nothing new. It's another "cleaner + antivirus" template pack from a Pakistani tools-portfolio account. It reached 2.66M installs by **buying traffic steadily from July onward** (about 55–650k installs a month, rising to about 27k a day after October), monetizing with a $13.99 subscription that plays on "virus / storage full" fears, plus ad revenue to cover costs. The same account's "Recover Deleted Messages" hit #4 on South Korea's top grossing tools chart, showing this family already validated the "tools template + subscription paywall + paid acquisition" route. The cleaner just carries that playbook into a bigger category.

### 1. Basic data

| Project | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|

| Rating | 802 → 1,069 ratings, average 3.61 → 3.70; 11-06 distribution: 1 star 194 / 2 star 97 / 3 star 72 / 4 star 170 / 5 star 534 | googleplay library app_snap |
| Rating-to-install ratio | 8 days: about 267 new rating pairs for every 257k installs, roughly 1 rating per 960 installs (1) | Same calculation as above |

| Charts | 10-29 to 11-06: every day, it charts in the Tools Top Free of 9–13 countries at ranks 86–199. Best is #86 in the Philippines, 95 in Malaysia, 108 in India, 111 in Nigeria, 118 in the UAE; also Canada, Japan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the UK, Thailand, and Vietnam. 11-06 First entry into the India Tools Top Grossing chart (#132) | googleplay library chart_rank |
| The release date shown on the store | 2026-09-02 (**this is the date it was reset** , see below) | app table |

#### True launch date: 2026-04-15, not 09-02

- APKPure version history: 1.0.0 released on **2026-04-15** , 1.0.1 is 05-06,1.0.2 is 05-08,1.0.3 is 05-25,1.0.4 is 06-21,1.0.5 is 06-30,1.0.6 is 08-05,1.0.7 is 09-16,1.0.9 is 10-17. (https://apkpure.com/phone-cleaner-antivirus/com.phone.cleaner.junkfiles.storagecleaner/versions)

- The package size was 1.0.3 at 11.3 MB, **then jumped to 39.3 MB on 1.0.4 (06-21)** , and has stayed between 38 and 39 MB since. The extra 28 MB is most likely modules like an ad-mediation SDK, a subscription paywall, and an antivirus engine (not verified by unpacking the APK).

- AppstoreSpy's estimated install curve since launch (googleplay library, app_day_ext): 05-16 it already had 10,445 installs. So the 09-02 on the store is a day the listing was reset after a metadata change or a storefront expansion. Most likely that's when "AntiVirus" was added to the name and the US store opened: the earliest US reviews are from 09-09 and 09-10.

#### Install curve (estimated by AppstoreSpy, googleplay database app_day_ext)

| Time point | Total installs | Daily average for that period |
|---|---|---|
| 05-16 | 10k | — |
| 06-12 | 105k | About 3,500/day |
| 07-08 | 249k | About 5,500/day |
| **Scaled up from 07-09** (single day +65k) | | |
| 08-09 | 794k | About 17.6k/day |
| 09-10 | 1.36M | About 17.6k/day |
| 10-13 | 2.02M | About 20k/day |
| 11-06 | 2.66M | About 27k/day |

Its defining trait is **steadiness** : from July onward it grew by 55–650k installs a month for 4 months straight, and it was still accelerating after October. There's no "spike for 5 days then a cliff" shape. This matches the big 06-21 release (1.0.4, package size up 3.5×) and the 06-30 1.0.5: monetization was built in first, and then paid acquisition was switched on.

androidrank's records show the same thing: when 2026-10-04 had just passed 1M installs, it had 334 ratings with an average of 3.435. By 11-01 it had 914 ratings, and the share of 3.659,5-star ratings rose from 38% to 49% (https://androidrank.appspot.com/application/phone_cleaner_antivirus/com.phone.cleaner.junkfiles.storagecleaner). A rising share of 5-star ratings may mean the app is prompting for reviews in-app; not verified.

### 2. Developer: a Pakistani individual's tool portfolio

- The Play store page's "About the developer" lists Muhammad Muzmmal, with an address in Layyah District, Punjab, Pakistan (Chak No. 123 ML, Tehsil Chobara), and the email greenbeens2019@gmail.com. The developer website is a hosted app-ads.txt page on app-ads-txt.com (j1cc89633.app-ads-txt.com), the kind of page used to authorize ad sellers for app monetization. The privacy policy is hosted on Google Sites.

- AppBrain: active since 2019, 9 apps (from search snippets). The Play developer page shows GPS Earth Maps Live Satellite, GPS Navigation Live Earth Maps, Live Earth Map-Street View, All Video Downloader, Reels Downloader, Recover Deleted Messages, Data Recovery, and Cloud storage, plus this cleaner.

- The 4 in our library (googleplay library, app_profile, 11-06):

| App | Installs | 7-day gain | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| All Video Downloader - HD & 4K | 8.87M | — | Live for 1,273 days |
| GPS Earth Maps Live Satellite | 5.87M | +16k | Live for 2,795 days, #23 in the Indonesia maps chart |
| **Phone Cleaner: AntiVirus** | **2.66M** | **+257k** | This app |
| Recover Deleted Messages App | 299k | +14k | Live for 136 days; **for 11-03 to 11-06 days it was #4 in the South Korea Tools Top Grossing chart and #15 in Japan** , and ranked 80–90 in the Tools Top Grossing charts of Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Poland, Vietnam, the UAE, and Singapore |

Takeaway: this group's bread and butter has been ad-monetized utility apps like maps and video downloaders (since 2019). In 2026 it moved to **subscription-paywall utilities** : it first shipped "Recover Deleted Messages", which sold very well in Japan and Korea (only 300k installs, yet it reached #4 in Korea's Tools Top Grossing, which points to a high conversion rate). Then it took the same playbook to cleaning plus antivirus, a much larger category. The cleaner is growing an order of magnitude faster than the group's other apps, which makes it the new volume this team has validated this year.

### 3. Competitors: how many people are doing the same thing

Cleaning and antivirus is one of the most crowded categories on Play. In 11-06's library, there are over a hundred Tools-category apps with cleaner or virus in their names that have grown in the last 7 days. Here are representatives by scale and approach (all data from the googleplay library, app_profile, 11-06):

| Competitors | Platform | Launched | Scale | How it differs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Files by Google / Samsung device maintenance / system storage cleaning | Big-company features | Years | Preinstalled on billions of devices | Free, no ads, full feature set; it sells the peace of mind of "antivirus + one-tap cleaning" |
| AVG / Avast / Norton360 | Android | 2010–2011 | 497M / 432M / 103M installs, near the top of Tools Top Grossing charts in several countries | A real antivirus engine and brand; its "antivirus" is just a selling point. Some users compare it directly with Total AV in reviews |
| Cleanup: Phone Storage Cleaner(Codeway) | Android | 2025-11 | 36.5M, +7k over 959 days, #1 in UAE Tools Top Grossing | A large Turkish company with subscriptions and heavy paid acquisition; 14× its scale |
| AI Cleaner: Clean up Storage(iKame) | Android | 2026-03 | 11M, +7k over 530 days, #3 in India Tools Top Grossing | A Vietnamese publisher, also subscription-based, ranks far higher than this app in India's grossing chart (#3 vs. #132) |
| Antivirus Pure(Wepayme Lab) | Android | 2025-09 | 11.6M, +7k over 730 days, #3 in Nigeria Tools Top Free | Also positions itself on "antivirus" and targets emerging markets, at 4× the volume |
| CleanMax(Nitrogen Cloudless) | Android | 2026-06 | 5.95M, +7k over 710 days, #2 in Philippines Tools Top Free | Launched around the same time, in the same markets, and growing nearly 3× as fast |
| AntiVirus Clean Master(Blooming Techno) | Android | 2026-02 | 8.15M, 7 days +430k | Exactly the same "cleaning + antivirus" positioning |
| Antivirus Clean Ultra(Rex Arts)/ Antivirus Expert(Synastry)/ Antivirus Smart Cleaner(TOP TRADE) | Android | 2026-08 | 1.12M / 2.26M / 910k | A later copycat from the same template year, of similar size |
| CCleaner / AVG Cleaner | Android | Years | Tens of millions or more (not checked individually) | An established PC-cleaning brand extended to mobile |

**It has no feature that is unique to it** : junk cleaning, APK scanning, unused apps, Wi-Fi and battery info, and antivirus scanning are all standard items for this category. Its chart positions in each market (86–199) are far lower than those of the top rivals above.

### 4. Growth levers: where users come from

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed? |
|---|---|---|
| Ongoing paid acquisition (most likely Google App Campaigns or similar global buys, possibly cross-promotion inside its own apps) | Steady paid installs of 55–650k a month since 07-09. It also ranks mid-to-low in Tools charts across 9–13 countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and North America. That looks like programmatic buying spread across the globe, not a push to hit one country's chart. Its rating-to-install ratio is about 1/960, so few users leave organic reviews. It doesn't appear in the Meta, Google, or TikTok ad libraries. Those libraries only track a select list of products, so not finding it there doesn't mean it isn't advertising. | No (inference) |
| Fear-based creatives and a "virus warning" funnel | It was renamed from a cleaner to "Phone Cleaner: AntiVirus" and requested the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission to run antivirus scans. Early US reviews come from older users ("said it would clean for free … just harassing me", 238 helpful votes; "I am tired of this type of Scam", 251 helpful votes). Reddit r/antivirus has posts like "my mom's phone shows virus warnings on boot, uninstall apps like Phone Cleaner and Antivirus". That is a typical source of traffic for this category, but we can't confirm it's this package. | No |
| Renaming, storefront expansion, and store optimization | The store launch date was reset to 09-02; the name and package name stack high-search-volume terms like phone cleaner, junk files, storage cleaner, and antivirus | Partly confirmed (the launch-date reset and keyword stacking are facts; the effect is unverified) |

**Where the money comes from** : first, subscriptions and in-app purchases ($13.99 tier; by the usual convention for apps like this it's probably a weekly subscription, not verified), and 11-06 first entered the India Tools Top Grossing chart at #132; second, ads (the store listing says "contains ads", and the developer website is itself an app-ads.txt hosting page). Recover Deleted Messages' results in the Japan and Korea grossing charts suggest the group's paywall conversion is strong.

### 5. Why it charted

1. **The demand has always been there, and it is anxiety-driven** : full storage, slow phones, and fear of malware are the most common pain points for low-end Android users in emerging markets and for older users. Adding "AntiVirus" to the name shifted the pitch from "free up space" to "don't get infected," which makes people more willing to pay.

2. **Monetization first, paid acquisition second** : the 06-21 1.0.4 version's package size jumped from 11 MB to 39 MB, and from 07-09 onward daily installs went from a few thousand to tens of thousands and stayed there. That's the classic "prove ROI, then scale" pattern.

3. **The team has a playbook ready** : the sibling Recover Deleted Messages app reached #4 in Korea's Tools Top Grossing. The subscription-paywall-plus-paid-acquisition template is proven; the cleaner just moves it to a bigger category.

4. **Broad paid acquisition, not chasing one chart** : it ranks in the Tools charts of 9–13 countries at #86–199. Cheap-traffic markets like the Philippines, Nigeria, India, and Malaysia supply installs, while Canada, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and the US supply subscription revenue.

5. **The product itself is not the reason** : the features are a standard checklist, the rating is 3.7, and 1-star ratings make up 18% of the total. Most real user reviews complain about the paywall.

### 6. Differentiation

The product has no differentiation. Compared with similar apps like Codeway, iKame, and Wepayme, it is smaller, ranks lower on the charts, and has the same features. The only things that set it apart are two points, both about its go-to-market approach:

- Tying "cleaner" and "antivirus" together in the name and using fear as the selling point (also common in this category);

- Ad spend **is steady** : 4 months of stable scaling with no cliff. It's not the new-account blast-and-swap play. That contrasts with the Clean Pro and Hyper Cleaner group, which hit #1 on Canada's tools chart in 5 days and then faded. It suggests each user is worth enough to sustain ongoing spend.

Those two things are why it ran, but neither is a moat. Anyone can copy them.

### 7. How many people have seen it

- Almost nobody knows about it yet: no public revenue, no press coverage, 0 posts on x-radar, no TikTok content. It only shows up on auto-indexed data and download sites like AppBrain, androidrank, APKPure and Uptodown.

- But the niche is already crowded: in the 11-06 TOOLS category, there are over a hundred similar apps that have grown in the past 7 days, and in August 2026 alone, several same-template apps charted, including Antivirus Clean Ultra, Antivirus Expert, and Antivirus Smart Cleaner.

### 8. Copycats

Nobody is specifically copying it, but many same-template apps launched in the same period (see the competitor table). It is also itself following Codeway and Wepayme, which got there first.

### 9. What others can learn

- "Tools template + subscription paywall + ad fallback + ongoing paid acquisition": validate the paywall conversion on a small app first (message recovery), then move it into a big category. Monetize first, then scale.

- Buy installs where ads are cheap and chase category charts, then make subscription revenue in Japan, Korea, Canada and Saudi Arabia.

- Risks: Google Play keeps tightening rules on "deceptive antivirus / fake virus warnings," the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission, and subscription disclosures. Rating 3.7, 1 one-star reviews saying "Scam": it could be delisted or throttled at any time.

### 10. Still unclear

- Which paid channels (Google App Campaigns, Unity / AppLovin, Meta, or cross-promotion between its own apps) and the cost per install. None of the three ad libraries has it indexed.

- Subscription period and actual price tiers (I only saw "$13.99 per item"); how much comes from ads versus subscriptions.

- What exactly changed on 09-02 when the first listing reset (renamed, added the US store, or changed store listing info).

- Which SDKs make up the extra 28 MB in the 1.0.4 build (I didn't unpack it).

- How much comes from the US store: it didn't chart on the US tools chart (a high bar), but US reviews are plentiful.
