Betting with the people who are winning: Prediction Radar and a wave of Instagram copy-trading accounts
What it is A mobile app that shows who's winning on Polymarket, lets you follow them, and alerts you when they place a trade. It doesn't touch your money and charges a weekly or monthly subscription.
Why it took off During election week a flood of newcomers entered prediction markets, and their first question was who to bet with. It was the only copy-trading app on the store that looked finished, and a group of Instagram accounts already promoting exchange referral bonuses started pushing its discount code.
BHow you could play it Don't build another leaderboard. Do what it does badly (split by market category, filter out lucky wallets, show whether follows actually paid off), or move this shell to another platform with public trade records, then go straight to the referral-bonus accounts and pay them a cut of the code.

Prediction Radar is a read-only Polymarket wallet tracker: see which public wallets have been winning recently, follow them, and your phone buzzes when they trade. It launched on iOS in early September, right before and during the weeks when prediction-market interest peaked around the US midterms. A batch of Instagram "copy-trade" accounts pushed one shared discount code and drove it into the top 50 of the US Finance Top Grossing chart. Anyone can build these features, and the store already has twenty-plus similar apps. What it got right is distribution and timing. Below: how it ran, and how much opportunity is left for you.
A Reel shot in a car
On Nov 4, the day after the midterms, Instagram account nathan_copies (Nate Brown) posted a car-filmed Reel with a four-step tutorial in the caption:
Step one: in Prediction Radar, browse the "Top 50" list and find the traders with the best performance. Step two: look at their past trades to see what markets they focus on. Some do sports, some politics, crypto, or weather. Step three: find someone worth following, tap "Track," and you get notified whenever they open a new position. Step four: go to Polymarket or Kalshi and bet alongside them (invite code on the homepage). It takes only a few minutes a day.
This isn't a one-off. On Oct 17, joey_markets ("Joey education") posted a Reel saying "The Kalshi strategy that was going viral just changed, and it's even better! Use code RADAR1 for 8 off your first month of Prediction Radar", tagged #makemoneyonline2026 #unitedstatessidehustle. Another post read "Followed a top sports trader today, he placed nearly $50k in 3 bets". After mid-October, a batch of accounts with similar names (xxx_markets, xxx_copies, xxx.predicts) started posting the same kind of content, all with the same RADAR1 code, and many posts also carried #kalshipartner and exchange referral lines like "Trade $25 on Kalshi, get $55".
What it is
A tool for watching how others bet. Polymarket is an on-chain prediction market where every wallet's trades are public. Prediction Radar turns those public records into leaderboards: PnL, ROI, win rate, volume, positions. You build a watchlist, and followed wallets trigger a push when they move. The store page is explicit: no wallet connection, no trading, no custody of funds, "for informational analysis only, not investment advice."

iOS ratings are nearly 4 times the Play count. The main battlefield is iPhone, Play came later. The same iOS developer also makes World Monitor (real-time OSINT) and Globus (live Earth cameras), a small studio focused on real-time data dashboards. The Play listing uses a different company name, most likely the same team (inferred).
Why now
Prediction markets became mainstream topics over 2026 years. During the week of the Nov 3 midterms, Kalshi and Polymarket election markets both reported record volume (CBC 11-02). Kalshi itself added 22.8k iOS US ratings that week. A wave of newcomers arrived for the first time, and their first question was "what should I bet on?" The easiest answer was "bet with whoever's winning."
Prediction Radar's curve matches this: Instagram posts with its code began appearing densely around Oct 13, iOS ratings accelerated from Oct 31, and Play installs jumped on election day.
Where users come from
Instagram Reels account network. This is the main channel and has the most evidence. The format is uniform: a selfie or talking-head clip in a car, saying "the trader I follow won this much today," with RADAR1 in the caption. Single posts get anywhere from single digits to hundreds of likes, while same-name TikTok accounts are nearly empty (joey_markets has only 3 followers on TikTok), suggesting these people are Instagram-only. It looks like paid UGC or an affiliate program rather than organic word of mouth. Whether the official team runs these accounts or outsources them can't be determined from outside (inference). Instagram has also auto-generated a topic page for "How To Use Prediction Radar For Polymarket Trades," so people are searching for it on the platform.
These people were already earning exchange referral bonuses for new sign-ups. On one video, viewers open a Kalshi account and he earns one referral. They download Prediction Radar and subscribe, and he earns another. For them, promoting a copy-trade app is an easy add-on.
In-app invite codes. The iOS update notes say "User referral codes & free unlocks," so inviting friends unlocks features for free.
Store search. The subtitle "Track the top 1%" targets terms like "polymarket tracker." In the App Store's "You Might Also Like" section, it's linked to PolyEdge and PolyScout.
Other channels are mostly empty: no one has mentioned it on X in the past two months, no press coverage, and no ads found in the Meta ad library (not finding them doesn't mean none ran).
Where the money comes from
Entirely subscription-based, and the price is high: $14.99 a week or $44.99 a month. The free tier only tracks 3 people and shows some charts. Searching for people and viewing the full rankings requires paying. The 8%-off first-month code suggests monthly is the main push.
The price works because buyers aren't paying for a tool, they're paying for a shot at winning. Following one right trader can cover a year's subscription in a single trade. That's why it can pay generous referral cuts to the account network and still reach the top 50 of the Finance Top Grossing chart. Real revenue isn't public. The estimate of tens of thousands of dollars a month in the US is inferred from chart position.
The cost shows up in the reviews too. The US App Store one-star reviews fall into two groups. One says they were charged: "Got a 7-day free trial in Oct 5, cancelled on the 6nd, and still got charged $14.99" (10-09). The other says the copy trading itself doesn't pay: "Traders with one star and five stars are the same. After subscribing I copied 8 trades and only 1 worked out. Don't buy." (10-21) "Kind of a scam" (10-26). Most five-star reviews are just a word or two. People who buy a "follow the winners" app come back to complain when they lose. That comes with this category.
Who it's competing with
| Competitors | Form | Scale | How it compares |
|---|---|---|---|
| Polymarket's official app | iOS / Android / web | 65k iOS US ratings, 1.84M Play installs | Has leaderboards and profile pages, but no "follow a trader and get pushed when they place a bet" |
| Polycool | iOS + web, 2026-05 | iOS US 20 ratings | Needs a wallet connection and auto-copies trades, so the bar is higher |
| PolyCat, PolyTracker, Polyscope, WhaleWire, Polysignals, PolyLens and others | On iOS, rolling out from 2026-02 | Each 0–5 ratings | Nearly identical features, and nobody's pushing them |
| Polywhaler, Polycopy, Bullpen, Kreo, Ratio | Mostly web | Not verified | Big-trade feeds, or copy-trading with order placement and auto-copy |
| Unusual Whales | An old "smart money" brand, 2020 | iOS US store 790 rating, Play 85k installs | Its core business is stock options; prediction markets are a side feature |
| Whalecast: Prediction Radar | iOS,2026-11-02 | Just launched | Puts its name right in the title to catch search traffic |
(App Store, Google Play, 11-06)
Plenty of people are doing this: web tools, open-source scripts, two dozen small iOS apps. But Prediction Radar is the only one that's a decent mobile app and has creators pushing it. Among App Store finance apps with poly, whale or prediction in the name, its rating count is second only to the exchanges Kalshi and Polymarket and to dub. The biggest risk is Polymarket itself: it already has leaderboards and profiles, so adding "follow alerts" is a small step.
If it were you
Bottom line: worth a try, but don't copy it wholesale. The "trade-signal layer plus creator referral codes" playbook has been proven and isn't saturated yet. The problem is it got its start on one election, similar apps are everywhere, and Polymarket could take the core feature away at any time.
Who it suits: one or two people who can build data-driven mobile apps and connect to on-chain or public trading data, and who know or are willing to reach prediction-market and trading creators with small followings and can negotiate a revenue share.
Not for: people who want to rely only on app store search and organic traffic. Two dozen-plus similar apps got to a 0 rating this way. Also not for anyone who can't stand users losing money and then leaving one-star reviews calling it a scam.
How to do it:
- Don't build another Polymarket leaderboard. The opening is what Polymarket does badly: reviews say "one-star and five-star traders are the same," which points to a ranking methodology problem. Rank by market type (sports, politics, weather) separately, filter out wallets that got lucky on one or two bets, and show whether following a wallet actually made money. That's where you can differentiate.
- Swap the data source. Any place with public trading records and a crowd of new people who want to copy trades can use this same shell: other on-chain prediction markets, on-chain sports betting, copy-trading communities with public positions. Kalshi is a centralized exchange with no public wallets, so you can't track individuals there. That's also why these videos say "trade on Kalshi" but rely on Polymarket data.
- The paywall follows its lead: track 2–3 people for free, with a high-priced weekly subscription. But spell out the trial and billing rules clearly, or you'll collect one-star reviews over it.
How to get users: go straight to the Instagram and TikTok creators with small accounts who already promote Kalshi and Polymarket referrals. Offer them exclusive discount codes and a subscription revenue share. They already tell the "copy-trade to make money" story and are missing an app they can open on camera. Start with 10 accounts, see which codes convert, then add more.
When to move: election hype fades, and the next big windows are sports seasons and the run-up to 2028 elections. Lock in products and creator deals before the next wave of "copy trading" short videos, and negotiate monthly rather than annual terms.
What would mean you read it wrong:
- Over the past month since the election, Prediction Radar's iOS rating growth dropped to single digits per day and it fell out of the top 100 in Finance Top Grossing. That means the demand was driven by the event alone, so don't chase it.
- Polymarket's official app adds "follow-wallet alerts": the room for this kind of information tool is mostly gone, leaving only what the official app won't do (cross-platform, category rankings, copy-trade performance stats).
- Conversely, if name-borrowing apps like Whalecast also reach the grossing charts through creator referral codes, the playbook matters more than the product, and that playbook isn't saturated yet, so it's worth moving on now.

Bottom line
It's a copy-trading app for Polymarket's public wallets: leaderboard, follow, and buy/sell alerts, priced aggressively (weekly subscription $14.99 / monthly $44.99). It's riding three things at once: ① prediction-market volume hitting records ahead of the 2026 US midterms (11-03), when "bet alongside the smart money" demand peaks; ② it's almost the only native app of its kind in the store, while rival apps sit at single-digit to low-20s ratings; ③ growth comes from a batch of "prediction-market copy-trading" alt accounts and creators on Instagram Reels, all pushing one discount code, RADAR1, funneling traffic from "make money copy-trading Kalshi / Polymarket" content. The main battlefield is iOS; Play is just a port that follows.

Notes:
- Play rankings in several countries (India, Nigeria, the Philippines, etc., ranks 67–76) are nearly identical, consistent with small-country category charts being the same aggregate chart. Real revenue is mainly in the US.
- The iOS rating count is about 4 times Play's, so most revenue is on iOS. Based on the iOS rating growth rate, US weekly downloads are in the thousands (unverified).
- The same dev team (Quad Innovations Inc.) also has World Monitor: Real-Time OSINT and Globus: Live Earth Cam & Globe on iOS (appstore library), a small studio that makes real-time data dashboard apps. On Play it publishes under a different entity, Prediction Radar LLC.
2. Competitors

Verdict: a lot of people are building this (web tools, open source, two dozen small iOS apps), but almost only Prediction Radar has turned it into a native phone app with distribution. Among App Store finance apps with poly/whale/prediction in the name, its rating count is second only to the two exchanges Kalshi and Polymarket, and dub (appstore library).
3. Growth tactics (evidence)
- Instagram Reels creator / alt-account network + shared discount code (confirmed)
- joey_markets ("Joey education"): 10-17 "This viral strategy on Kalshi just changed… Use code RADAR1 for 20% off your first month of the prediction radar app"; 10-22 "Advice for when you are using the Prediction Radar app…"; also "Tracking one of the top sports traders… Nearly $50k on 3 trades today" (instagram.com/reel/DenkXMtRZwn, DezyS5Kh0Z0, Dej_QIQx4tG).
- nathan_copies ("Nate Brown"): 10-21 "Why aren't more people using this strategy? #predictionradar"; "Best app I've been using recently #predictionradar"; 11-04 "The exact steps I took: … I use an app called Prediction Radar thats literally free where I find traders on prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket" (reel/DexANFXAA63, Devg5zGgY_4, DfVqzjCg4rs).
- "lord of predictions" 11-03 image-post caption with the same copy (p/DfSx40ymQ9F); a Cole 10-13 post (reel/Deb8OKWPJuM); several posts with #kalshipartner and exchange referral lines like "Free $55 when you trade $25 on Kalshi" also carry RADAR1 (reel/DfQTNg_usTI, DfSqUNBJOR2, DZ8hYIZhTkM).
- Instagram has auto-generated a topic page for "How To Use Prediction Radar For Polymarket Trades" (instagram.com/popular/…), suggesting in-app search volume is high enough to form a topic.
- Format: selfies / talking head in a car + a "follow top traders" narrative. Account names follow a pattern: xxx_markets / xxx_copies / xxx.predicts. Single posts get single-digit to a few hundred likes; the same-named TikTok accounts are almost empty (joey_markets has 3 followers on TikTok). Looks like a paid UGC alt-account network or an affiliate program, with the same people also promoting Kalshi referrals. Payment likely comes from subscription revenue share or flat fees; unverified whether it's run in-house or outsourced.
- The timing lines up: these posts cluster after 10-13, iOS ratings pick up from 10-31 (11-01 with +56 in a single day), and Play installs jump +2,613 over 11-03.
- In-app referral loop (confirmed): the iOS 1.0.x update notes say "User referral codes & free unlocks", meaning user invite codes and free unlocks were added.
- Platform event / timing (confirmed background): 2026-11-03 US midterm elections; outlets like CBC reported record trading on Kalshi and Polymarket election markets (TikTok @cbcnews 11-02). Kalshi's US-store iOS ratings grew by 22.8k in 7 days that week (appstore library). New prediction-market users were flooding in and needed a tool for "who to follow."
- Store search / related recommendations (partly confirmed): in App Store "You Might Also Like" it appears alongside PolyEdge, PolyScout, Polymarket Prediction Alert AI, and others. The subtitle "Track the top 1%" captures "polymarket tracker"-type searches.
- Official site SEO / reviews: predictionradar.com's homepage has only a download button and App Store review quotes; GridInsoft gives it a trust score of 79/100 on its page. No press coverage showed up in search results.
- Paid ads: no Prediction Radar advertiser found in the metaads library (the library only tracks a fixed list of products, so not finding it doesn't mean they don't advertise). Not found.
- X / Reddit: x-radar shows 0 posts mentioning "prediction radar" in the last 60 days; on Reddit I only saw a related-search hint about "Legitimacy of Prediction Radar", with no real discussion threads.
4. Why it took off
- Timing: in 2026, prediction markets are a mainstream topic, and trading volume hit records during midterm week. "Copy smart money" is the most intuitive need for new entrants (TikTok/IG are full of "copy Polymarket wallets to make money" content; WSJ in June also reported on fake trade screenshots).
- Distribution, not features: the features match the two dozen Polymarket trackers (PnL / ROI / win rate / positions + push alerts). The difference is that it recruited an IG Reels network to promote it with a shared code, turning the "make money copying traders" story directly into downloads. Competing apps stayed at single-digit ratings.
- Package the product around following people, not raw data: star-rated trader leaderboards, a "your traders" watchlist, and "get pinged the moment they place an order." It's a natural fit for short-video demos ("the trader I follow placed 3 trades today and made 50k").
- Clear compliance boundary: explicitly "no wallet connection, no trading, no custody of funds," just information analysis. That makes it easier to list in iOS / Play finance categories and charge subscriptions. Competitors doing auto-copy need wallet connections, which raises listing and trust barriers.
- Aggressive subscription pricing: $14.99/week and $44.99/month; the free tier gives only 3 tracking slots plus some rankings. Combined with a 20% first-month discount code, the high ARPU is enough to fund creator commissions. This is where its 34–51 rank in US-store finance top grossing comes from.
5. Differentiation
- Compared with web tools (Polywhaler, Polycopy, etc.): native phone app + push notifications. For retail users, "my phone buzzes when someone trades" beats scrolling a web feed.
- Compared with other iOS tracker apps: the product differences are small. The real difference is distribution (IG creator network + discount code + invite code) and more polished execution (4.8 score, 1100+ ratings, product images and a website that looks like a real brand).
- Compared with Polymarket's official tools: the official side has a leaderboard but doesn't do "follow a wallet and get pushed alerts." PR fills that gap. The risk is that the official side adds it someday.
- Bottom line: the differentiation is mainly that it became a consumer phone product and found creator distribution. The features themselves are not why it took off.
6. Visibility and copycats
- Visibility: talked about in small circles. No public revenue (no TrustMRR listing or founder revenue posts found). 0 posts discussing it on X, no media coverage seen. It's only being repeatedly pushed by a group of small accounts in Instagram prediction-market / copy-trading content circles.
- Copycats: on iOS, 2026-11-02 has "Whalecast: Prediction Radar" (developer Oscar Manas, appstore library), which puts "Prediction Radar" right in its name to ride the brand. Polymarket tracker apps were already plentiful.
7. What others can learn
- Pick a platform that's blowing up (prediction markets) and build a "read-only information layer" app: no money handling, no trading, light listing and compliance.
- Package the data tool as a "follow people" story so short videos can demo it ("this guy won $50k today, I followed him").
- Use a batch of vertical small accounts / creators (the same people also promoting Kalshi referrals) to push a shared discount code, pay on subscription revenue share, and keep channels trackable.
- High-priced weekly subscription + a free-tier cap (3 tracking slots) as the paywall.
8. Still unclear
- Whether the IG network is run in-house, paid UGC, or an open affiliate program: unverified. Per-post views can't be retrieved.
- Whether they buy Meta / TikTok / Apple Search Ads: our ad library didn't track it, unverified.
- The relationship between Play developer Prediction Radar LLC and iOS developer Quad Innovations Inc. (most likely the same team): unverified.
- Whether demand holds after the election; the chance Polymarket adds "follow a wallet and get pushed" itself.
- Actual revenue: only roughly inferred from its 34–51 rank in US-store finance top grossing, unverified.
