41 installs and it hit the charts: Brazilian live-streaming app Bizu Live recruited agencies before launch

What it is A Brazil-local live-streaming tip app: hosts go live and do PK co-streams, viewers buy diamonds to send virtual gifts. Same category as Bigo and Poppo.

Why it's taking off It went after agencies before users. Before launch it posted about launch bonuses and giveaways, and gave each agency its own invite code. Agencies brought hosts and big tippers with them. Tipping money concentrates in a handful of people, so a few dozen installs was enough to reach the grossing chart.

CHow you could follow it Don't copy it in Brazil. The part worth learning is the cold-start order: pick a small-language country that the big platforms aren't working seriously, sign local agencies before launch with launch bonuses and per-agency invite codes, run web top-ups alongside local instant-payment settlement, and do only one country. This assumes you already have live-streaming code, moderation capacity, and a subsidy budget.

Grade C: the playbook is clear and almost nobody is paying attention, but the product has nothing new. In this category Bigo, Poppo, SuperLive, and a pile of clone apps are all using subsidies to compete for the same agencies. Its scale is still small (1,776 installs, #100 on the grossing chart). Following it means agency relationships, moderation, and subsidy money, which indie devs don't have. Learning the playbook is useful; copying it directly isn't worth it. Almost nobody knows about it yet

Bizu Live is a Brazil-only 18+ live-tipping app. Its mechanics match Bigo and Poppo: go live, PK co-streams, virtual gifts. In Oct 30 it had only 41 installs on Google Play, yet it was already #136 on the Brazil Social grossing chart. The reason: it went after agencies first, not users. Below: how it cold-starts, where the money comes from, who the competitors are, and whether a small team should follow.

A recruiting post for agencies, published before launch

In 2026 Oct 19, Bizu Live's official Instagram posted while the profile still said "Em breve" (coming soon):

Every good partnership starts with an opportunity. Some opportunities show up before launch. BIZU LIVE is taking its first steps. Agencies that join from the start get exclusive bonuses and giveaways during our launch campaign. Your agency could be among the first.

This post wasn't aimed at viewers. It was aimed at Brazilian live-streaming agencies. Agencies manage hosts, and some manage big tippers willing to spend money. Whichever platform offers the higher split and bigger bonuses is where they take their people.

A week later, the agencies got to work. From Oct 26, Brazilian agencies were posting heavily on Instagram and TikTok, mostly using one template: "Download Bizu Live, enter invite code 0002 in the Host Center, DM me, join our team." On TikTok, @lm_agencybr with 11k followers had @bizulive in its bio. On Nov 5 it posted more than five times in one day: "app novo de live!!" (new live app!!) and "the hosts already love the gifts here." On Oct 29, an agency head named Juliene Medeiros posted a Reel: Bizu Live launches this week, recruiting is open, DM if you want to stream.

A few dozen installs, but the grossing rank came first

Google Play figures (installs and Brazil Social chart rank, 10-30 to 11-06):

DateTotal installsBrazil Social GrossingBrazil Social Free
10-3041136–
10-31383123–
11-021,120106–
11-041,344101186
11-061,776100115

A normal app gets users first, then revenue. Bizu Live went the other way: 41 installs got it onto the grossing chart, but it didn't reach the free chart until 11-04. That's how live tipping works: money concentrates in a few large-ticket tippers, and the highest in-store purchase tier is priced at $949.99. There's also a possibility (inference) that agencies are buying in themselves to climb the rankings and collect launch bonuses. From outside you can't tell the two apart, but either way money has started moving.

Don't overrate the number, though. The bar for #100 on Brazil Social grossing is low: Amisu Party, #99 the same day, had only 67k installs total. #100 roughly corresponds to a few hundred dollars a day in in-store purchases (estimate, unverified). The store page has no reviews and no ratings yet, which suggests no organic users have arrived. The iOS version only went live in Nov 4 and has 1 ratings.

How it differs from Bigo: only "Brazil-exclusive"

The product itself has almost nothing new. Live streaming, PK, gifts, and diamonds are standard for this category. Its differences are all in localization and settlement:

  • Fully Portuguese-language operations; the support email is at privoo.com.br, and the website title reads "Live with Brazil."
  • Hosts withdraw via Pix, Brazil's instant bank transfer, and must complete KYC before withdrawing.
  • The website has a top-up page (bizulive.com/recarga): enter your account ID from the app, choose country and currency, and buy diamonds with card, wallet, or local payment. It goes through Stripe direct top-up, bypassing app stores, which saves 15–30% in commission.
  • During launch it offers agencies bonuses and giveaways, with one invite code per agency for easy settlement and for tracking who brought people in. Regular users also have invite codes; entering a code within 7 days of signup earns a reward.

There's no technical barrier either. The privacy policy lists the stack clearly: ZEGO SDK for streaming and beauty filters, Branch for attribution, plus Firebase, MongoDB Atlas, Sentry, and Stripe. A small team could assemble a Bigo-style app in a few weeks. Compliance is well documented: 18+ age rating, a child-safety page, automatic filtering of messages that push users off-platform, a three-strike ban for selling diamonds off-platform, and LGPD (Brazil's data protection law) terms. These mostly exist to get through Google and Apple review.

The operating entity is the US company Stellarpath, LLC, with the Privoo brand. The Apple developer account was registered around early 2025. Whether the team is actually Brazilian or a Chinese go-global live-streaming team using a US entity, I couldn't confirm.

Who it's competing with

This niche is crowded. Live streaming, video chat and voice rooms make up about half of the top 100 on the Brazil Play Social Top Grossing chart: 11-06

There are other competitors too. Alii launched in November 2024, and Brazilian hosts often list their Alii ID and Bizu ID side by side in their Instagram bios, since both are competing for the same hosts. A company called Insight-Innov blankets Brazil with five or six clone apps including FogoLive, ComLive, and VivoLive, ranked #19 to #97. TikTok LIVE and Kwai also have live gifting in Brazil, relying on agencies too.

Agencies will follow new platforms, but they'll also leave: they go wherever the payout is highest, and the top platforms will only keep increasing their subsidies.

How many people have seen it

Almost no one. No media coverage, not a single post about it on X in nearly 60 days, and the official Instagram has 560 followers. A YouTube video, "O novo aplicativo de live brasileiro" (Brazil's new live app), has only 263 views, and hosts' own TikTok posts get a few hundred views each. The website has the Meta Pixel and Branch attribution set up, so the groundwork for paid acquisition is in place, but I found no evidence of actual spending.

There's also one easy to confuse: a website with the same name, Bizu (app.bizu.live), is a per-minute paid one-on-one video chat service run by an individual operator in Portugal, 1 to 1. Its homepage specifically says "not public live streaming, and not PK battles." They are not the same company.

If it were you

One-line verdict: Bizu Live proves a cold-start playbook, not a new product. Building another one like it in Brazil basically means competing with Bigo and Poppo on subsidies. Worth studying, not worth chasing on its own.

Who it's for: people who are already taking live streaming or voice rooms global and have code and a moderation team on hand, or people who have connections with a country's live-streaming agencies and can bring in the first batch of hosts.

Who it's not for: indie devs with no live-streaming experience, no content-moderation capability, and no subsidy budget of several hundred thousand dollars. Moderation, payments, KYC, and bans for 18+ live tipping are far harder than writing the app.

How to do it: pick a small-language country that a top platform isn't working seriously (something like an Eastern European or African country, which you'd need to validate yourself), and follow its sequence. Two weeks before launch, post an agency recruitment call, and use launch bonuses and giveaways to lock in three to five agencies. Give each agency its own invite code. From day one, run a web top-up, pay hosts through local instant payments, and only do one country, fully localized in language, support, and payments.

How to acquire users: not paid ads, agencies. Agencies recruit hosts, hosts bring tippers, and the platform pays out splits and bonuses. Install tracking ahead of time, and buy traffic only once you have enough hosts.

When to move: there's no clear window. This playbook has been used in the Middle East and Southeast Asia for years. Switching to a new country is a new window, but the question is whether you can sign local agencies before Bigo does.

What would prove the read wrong: if Bizu Live drops out of the top 150 on Brazil Social grossing within a month or two and agency posts stop, that means the agencies left once the launch bonuses ended, and the playbook can't hold up against a new platform. Conversely, if it climbs to tens of thousands of installs and reaches the top 50 on grossing without large subsidies, it means Brazil's agency market still has room for a new platform, and following it would be worth more than it is now.

Bizu Live (com.privoo.app) research report

Channel: Google Play (iOS version also available) | Developer: Privoo (operated by Stellarpath, LLC, a US company) | Research date: 2026-11-06

One line

A Brazil-localized 18+ live-streaming PK tipping app (the Bigo / Poppo / Kako type: go live, PK co-streaming, virtual gifts, diamond IAP). Listed about 6 weeks, 1,776 cumulative installs globally, and already in the Brazil Play "Social" Top Grossing chart at #100. It got there by recruiting agencies before launch, with agencies bringing in hosts and tipping users, not by paid acquisition, and not because the product is anything new.

Verdict

  • Why it "breaks out": live-streaming gift apps earn most of their revenue from a handful of big-spending gifters and from top-ups inside agencies, so the install count matters less. Bizu Live 10-19 ran a pre-launch Instagram push: "agencies recruiting now, early agencies get launch bonuses and prize draws." It went live at the end of October, and Brazilian agencies such as LM Agency and Infinity Agency immediately posted on TikTok/Instagram: "Download Bizu Live, enter the invite code in the Host Center" to recruit streamers. 10-30 With only 41 installs, it was already charting #136 on Brazil's social Top Grossing. Revenue ranked before installs caught up. That's the classic sign of agency self-top-ups or a few seed big spenders driving gifts.
  • Differentiation: basically none in the product. The difference is being "Brazil-only": fully Portuguese operations, a Brazilian support email at privoo.com.br, host withdrawals via Pix (LB Pay), web top-ups via Stripe to bypass store commissions, and launch bonuses for agencies. This helps a new platform poach agencies and hosts, but none of it is a moat.
  • Scale caveat: the bar for #100 on Brazil's social Top Grossing chart is low. On the same day, #99 Amisu Party had only 67k installs. This is nowhere near success yet. The honest read is "the cold-start playbook is working and revenue has started."

  • The Play first-release date is 2026-09-19, most likely from the internal or closed-testing period. The real public push was late October: the official IG still said "Em breve (coming soon)" on 10-19, and the agency content only appeared densely after 10-26.
  • iOS: App Store id 6804878408, developer STELLARPATH, LLC (developer id 1800500818, the account number range suggests it was registered in early 2025). • 0 reviews and no rating average, which suggests no organic traffic yet.

2. Competitors

This category is extremely crowded. On the same day, roughly half of the top 100 on Brazil's Play social Top Grossing chart were live-streaming, video chat, or voice-room apps (googleplay chart_rank 2026-11-06):

No big player is specifically doing "Brazil-local live tipping," but TikTok LIVE and Kwai Live both run live gifting in Brazil, and both rely on the agency system.

3. Growth tactics (evidence)

  1. Agency recruitment (confirmed, main channel)
    • Official IG 2026-10-19: "Toda grande parceria começa com uma oportunidade… Agencies that join before our launch get exclusive bonuses and prize draws during launch" (instagram.com/p/DermowwRP5C).
    • Infinity Agency has posted continuously since 10-26: "Baixe a Bizu Live e use o código 0002 na Central do Host. Chama no direct e vem pro time ♾️" (instagram.com/p/DfXTK2zN8k9).
    • TikTok @lm_agencybr (11K followers, bio links @bizulive)11-05 posted more than 5 times in one day: "app novo de live!! Link na bio" and "Agenciados já amando os presentes…" (TikHub).
    • Individual guild owner Juliene Medeiros 10-29: "Bizu Live is launching this week, recruiting is open, DM me if you want to do livestreams" (instagram.com/reel/DfF2AeiOEou).
    • Individual host profiles link @bizulive and Bizu IDs (@jessy.perroni, @paula.sparkles, @lualives_, etc.), and many also list Alii at the same time.
  2. Invite codes / referral rewards (confirmed): the site has an invite page at bizulive.com/convite/?ref=XXXX, where users enter an invite code at signup or within 7 days after to claim rewards. TikTok hosts post invite links directly (@morena.31.joy, 11-01).
  3. Meta ads (possibly, unverified): the site's cookie notice lists Meta Pixel and Google, and the privacy policy says in-app usage events are sent to Meta, with Branch used for attribution. The tracking is wired up for paid acquisition, but our ad library doesn't track it, so no ad records were found. A TikTok account @privoo.adz (401 followers) may be a creative test account, unconfirmed.
  4. Small-scale YouTube and organic content: YouTube "LIVES COM LUCKY" video "O novo aplicativo de live brasileiro" with 263 views; on TikTok, hosts post on their own with lines like "Presentes assim incríveis… somente no BizuLive," each getting a few hundred views.
  5. None: 60 posts on X in the last 0 days (x-radar), no media coverage found, and no Product Hunt-style exposure.

Where the money comes from: viewers buy diamonds to send gifts. Beyond Play and App Store IAP, the site bizulive.com/recarga offers Stripe top-ups with local payment methods, which saves 15–30% in store commission and gives a discount for web top-ups. After the platform takes its cut from gifts, hosts and agencies are paid out via Pix. Agencies earn a share of their hosts' revenue, so they have an incentive to bring in users and top up themselves to boost rankings. Getting onto a Top Grossing chart with a few dozen installs fits this structure.

4. Why now

  • Brazil is a mature live-tipping market: Bigo runs host events there, and TikTok LIVE and Kwai both rely on agency systems. Brazil has a large class of "professional agencies" that control hosts and big tippers and are willing to switch to a new platform if it offers higher splits or launch bonuses. Early on, a new platform has few hosts, so each one gets more traffic and more gifts.
  • The technical bar is low: ZEGO provides live streaming and beauty SDKs, and Firebase, MongoDB Atlas, Sentry, Branch, Stripe, and LB Pay (Pix withdrawals) are off-the-shelf services, all named in the privacy policy. A small team can build a Bigo-style app in a few weeks.
  • Compliance is thoroughly documented: 18+ ratings, a child-safety page, auto-filtering of messages that push users off-platform, account bans after three attempts to sell diamonds off-platform, LGPD terms, and KYC before Pix payouts. These are mainly there to pass Google and Apple review smoothly, not as selling points.

5. How many people have seen it

  • Still little known: no media coverage, 0 discussion on X, 560 followers and 43 posts on the official IG, and revenue is not public. It's only being talked about within Brazil's small live-agency circle.
  • Copycats: none directly copying it. It is itself a follower of the Bigo / Poppo / Kako path.

6. What to borrow

  • "Recruit agencies first, launch second" cold start: two weeks before launch, post agency recruitment, lock in the first batch of agencies with launch bonuses and prize draws, and give each agency a dedicated Host invite code for easy settlement and tracking.
  • Web top-ups via Stripe plus local payments bypass store commissions, and host withdrawals use local instant payments (Pix).
  • Single-country focus: language, support, payments, and settlement are all localized. This playbook can be copied directly into small-country or small-language markets, and the Middle East and Southeast Asia already have plenty of precedents.
  • Be clear about this: the playbook can get a new app to surface on a small country's category charts quickly, but growing revenue means continuously funding agency subsidies, and the leading platforms subsidize far more.

7. Uncertain

  • Real revenue: we have no revenue estimate. #100 on Brazil's Play social Top Grossing chart roughly corresponds to a few hundred dollars a day in store IAP (unverified). Stripe web top-ups are not visible.
  • There's no way to tell how much of the chart position is agency self-top-ups versus real tipping users.
  • Who is behind Stellarpath, LLC wasn't found (a Brazilian team, or a Chinese live-streaming outbound team using a US shell company?). The Apple developer account has existed since early 2025, but whether they built other apps before is unknown.
  • Whether it is running Meta ads: tracking is fully wired up, but there is no ad-library evidence.
  • Is it related to Bizu (app.bizu.live), the video site with the same name 1 vs 1? No: different operators, looks unrelated.
