# India's matches air on SonyLIV, and someone in the comments posted a Play link: How pirate cricket-stream shells survive season after season

**What it is** A free cricket-streaming app you can install from Google Play. The content comes from third-party sources (piracy). It hides behind scores and schedules and makes money from ads.

**Why it took off** India's series against New Zealand were exclusively paywalled on SonyLIV, so fans on Instagram Reels comments and Telegram channels started passing around free-watch links, including this app's Play link. One account ran several shells, and whichever one got shared took off.

**E** **What you can take from it** Don't copy the content. The part worth learning is the method: use the sports calendar and paywalls to find demand windows, distribute at zero cost through comments and fan groups around popular matches, and build compliant products like schedule alerts, scores, and fan tools.

E grade: the money is the piracy itself. Remove it and nothing is left. Same-named shells 2026 years running produced 82 of them, the products are identical, and rights holders take them down in a sweep every major tournament, which takes the accounts down with them. Few people know about it yet

Data (updated daily) · first launch 2026-08-18 · 11-07 installs 256,636

Android · Total installs worldwide

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations). Google's detail page only refreshes install counts every other day, so a flat day doesn't mean nobody installed.

Cricket Live TV is a "free cricket live TV" app on Google Play, listed Aug 18, last updated in version 1.0, and at Nov 6 it had 257k installs. The product itself isn't worth much. What's worth looking at is the playbook behind it: one developer runs several near-identical packages at once, each disguised as a casual puzzle game. Whenever a match in India gets exclusively taken by a paid platform, installs step up a level on those days, and users arrive through Instagram comments and Telegram channels. Below is how it runs and why it isn't an opportunity to chase.

### "India's match, but it's airing on SonyLIV"

In Oct 2026 21, a user named @imgo45_ on Instagram posted a Reel captioned in Hindi: "इंडिया का मैच हैं..पर सोनी लाइव पर आयेगा" (It's India's match, but it'll be on SonyLIV). It was about the India away tour of New Zealand, 5 T20I, which in India is exclusively paywalled on SonyLIV (NDTV).

In the comments, people were recommending where to watch for free. Some said Cricfy TV, some said Flixfox and Castle, and one person posted a Google Play link with the package name com.puzzle.games.rj.studios, which is this Cricket Live TV.

Five days later, another account, @muhammadishfaq2.0, posted a Reel saying "Ajao Guys Telegram Channel Par #INDvsNZ" (watch India vs New Zealand on my Telegram channel). It got 9,000 likes, and the comments again featured this link.

That's the whole story: legal broadcasts are paywalled, so fans go looking for pirate streams in the comments, and whichever link gets posted, that app grows.

### What it is

The store page says "your one-stop destination for cricket fans": live streaming, ball-by-ball scores, schedules, points tables, match reminders. A disclaimer at the bottom reads: "This app does not own or host any video content, it only provides access to publicly available content or third-party sources." The page is marked as containing ads, with no in-app purchases, and the data safety section says "no data collected."

Users come here for one thing. The most-liked review in the India Play listing is from Harshit Choudhary on Sep 13: "Live streaming of every match, with two or three language commentaries", marked helpful by 444 people. The second is from Sep 17: "Too many ads, but free cricket", marked helpful by 239 people. Scores, schedules, and points tables are written for the reviewers. The live stream is written for users.

### How fast it grew: one step per match

| Timeline | Total installs | What happened those days |
|---|---|---|
| 9-19 | About 2,400 | — |
| 9-25 | About 28k | Men's cricket at the Asian Games begins (9-24), West Indies tour of India begins (9-27) |
| 10-03 | About 47k | Asian Games cricket wraps up, India plays the quarterfinal 9-28 |
| 10-09 | About 168k | West Indies tour of India series underway, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka and Afghanistan vs Bangladesh playing |
| 10-28 | About 179k | Between matches, almost no movement |
| 11-01 | 256k | India vs New Zealand T20I series (10-22 to 11-01), Hong Kong Sixes (10-30 to 11-01) |
| 11-06 | 257k | Series ends, growth drops to a few dozen a day |

The figures before 11-01 are third-party estimates (AppstoreSpy). After that, they're the public install counts from Google Play. Play install counts refresh only every few days, so the day a jump appears isn't necessarily the day the downloads happened. Still, the steps line up with the match calendar. The biggest step was around Oct 6 to 9, more than 120k in one go; I haven't verified which match drove it. Once matches stop, the curve flattens: from Nov 3 to 6, daily additions fell from 458 to 17.

It never charted in India's Sports chart in 200. Its Nov 6 ranks were #25 on the UAE Sports Top Free chart, #43 in Hong Kong, and #97 in Saudi Arabia, and in late October it also charted in Singapore and Malaysia. The Hong Kong rank is probably tied to the six-a-side cricket tournament, which both India and Pakistan are playing in. Reviews show both Indian and Pakistani users, so it's hard to tell which country the core audience is in.

### One account, several shells disguised as mini-games

Lining up the packages under developer Lumora Technologies makes the pattern clear:

| Bundle ID | Name | Launched | Installs (Play, 11-06) | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| com.puzzle.game.arrow.escape | Cricket Live TV Streaming | 9-04 | 752k | 4.4 (5,500+ reviews) |
| com.circ.puzzle.orgde.cric | Cricket Live TV HD Streaming | 7-25 | 330k | 4.8 (1,697 reviews) |
| com.puzzle.games.rj.studios | Cricket Live TV | 8-18 | 257k | 1,120 reviews in the India store |
| com.arrow.out.game.puzzle | Star Sports One Live Cricket | — | Delisted | Before removal: 5.0 |

A few details:

- **The package names look like puzzle games** : arrow.escape, arrow.out.game.puzzle, puzzle.games.rj.studios. They aren't written for users. They're written for review and rights-holder keyword scans (inferred).

- **Each package uses a different email and a different .xyz or .me template domain** for its privacy policy. When one package gets a copyright takedown, the others aren't dragged down with it.

- **When an old package dies, users move to a new one.** The delisted Star Sports One had over 500k downloads according to AppBrain. arrow.escape went from a few hundred installs to about 650k between Sep 17 and 19 (AppstoreSpy estimate). Over the same period, reviews said things like "the previous version was better" and "the latest update works great and runs smoothly." The most likely explanation is that the old package prompted users in-app to switch to the new one before it was removed (inferred; I didn't get the APK to verify).

- **The rating pattern looks suspicious.** arrow.escape's rating count rose by 1,029 in a single day on Nov 3. According to third-party data, orgde.cric has no ratings below 3 stars. Concentrated five-star prompts on match days, or outright fake ratings, are both possible (unverified).

The three live packages add up to about 1.34M installs. Including the one that's already been removed, this account likely pulled in over 1.8M in one cricket season.

### Where users come from

**Confirmed via Instagram comments and profile bios.** Beyond the two posts at the top, @samuelsinha posted a Reel on Oct 26 whose caption is just a Play link (pointing to the same account's arrow.escape), and @jan__blol (2,700 followers) put the same link in their profile bio. Around match days, every Reel explaining where to watch becomes a free ad slot.

**Telegram channels, most likely.** Reels like "watch on my Telegram channel" pull people into the channel, where the link gets posted again. I didn't see what was posted in the channel.

**APK download sites, confirmed.** APKPure hosts three of the packages, and a site called apktoeasy lists it as "Cricket Live TV APK · Lumora Technologies · MOD: Free Streaming."

**Store search, partly.** The name is the generic "Cricket Live TV," and it charted in the UAE, Hong Kong, and Saudi sports free charts, which suggests some users found it through search (inferred).

**Paid acquisition, not found.** Apps like this usually also struggle to get past ad-platform review.

Compared with sideloaded APKs like Cricfy TV, its one advantage is that it installs directly from Google Play. Users don't have to turn on "unknown sources," it looks more like a legitimate app, and the link is easier to share.

### Where the money comes from

It only has ads. Each package's website hosts an app-ads.txt file for ad network verification. Reviews repeatedly complain about the ads. One four-star review on arrow.escape reads: "The ads are really long and you can't skip them, which is why I'm only giving four stars."

Rough math: during a match, users watch for hours and will put up with plenty of ads. Once the match ends, they stop opening it. So the money concentrates on match days, and each South Asian user brings in very little ad revenue, so it depends on volume. That's also why it runs several packages: each one is a lottery ticket, and whichever gets pinned in a popular comment thread wins. No revenue figures are public, so there's no way to estimate them from outside.

### Who it's competing with

| Competitors | Scale | Compared with alternatives |
|---|---|---|
| Other same-named Play shells | 2026 packages launched in 82 with names containing cric and tv/stream, about 11.8M installs combined | No product difference; 11-06 or more same-named or similar-named apps in the top 60 of the UAE sports free chart 15 |
| Live Cricket TV Streaming(PixelGrid Studios) | Launched 2-10, 1.49M, +7k over 267 days, #5 in the India sports free chart | Same kind of shell, bigger scale, and it charted in India |
| Live Cricket TV HD(SkyPixel Apps) | Launched 7-12, 570k, 7 days +226k | Launched around the same time, grew faster than it over the past week |
| Star Sports One series (multiple developers) | One of them reached 3.8M in 4 months and was removed in February 2026 (AppBrain) | The previous generation of the same playbook |
| Cricfy TV, Flixfox, Castle, and other sideloaded APKs | Unverified, frequently recommended in comments | Not on Play, must be sideloaded |
| SonyLIV, JioHotstar, FanCode (legal) | 100M-scale | Paid, and each series airs on a different platform |
| Cricbuzz, CREX (scores) | 239M and 105M installs | Scores only, no video |

The last line is worth a closer look: the problem with legal options isn't just price, it's fragmentation. This series is on SonyLIV, the next one on JioHotstar, the six-a-side tournament on FanCode, and fans don't know which subscription to buy. Pirate shells sell "one app for every match." That demand is real, but only the people who hold the rights can meet it legally.

### If it were you

**Verdict: E, don't touch.** The business makes money, but the money-maker (free access to paid matches) is piracy itself. Strip that out and nothing is left. Dozens of these shells launch every year, a batch gets pulled each quarter, and a new batch replaces it.

**Who it suits:** No small team really fits. The people who can keep this going long-term are those who already hold a stack of developer accounts, can absorb accounts getting banned in a chain, and were already operating in a gray zone.

**Who it doesn't suit:** Anyone who wants a product that lasts and wants to keep publishing under one developer account. Rights holders (JioStar, SonyLIV) have Google sweep these apps every time a big tournament comes around, and copyright complaints take down other apps tied to the same account.

**If you want to learn anything from it, learn these three things:**

1. **Find demand windows on the match calendar.** Whichever series a paid exclusive platform has locked up is when searches and chatter peak. The same rhythm works for legitimate products: fixture reminders that say "where to watch this match," live score and match-status push alerts, fan communities, and tools for match-related fan content.

2. **Distribute in the comments of trending content.** It spent nothing on ads. It relied on people dropping links in the comments of pre- and post-match "where to watch" Reels. A legitimate cricket tool can show up in those same comment sections and in Telegram fan groups.

3. **Spread risk across multiple apps.** Applied to a legitimate category, that means testing several keyword-focused versions and pushing whichever one takes off.

**How to acquire users (if building a legitimate fixtures or scores tool):** Follow the match calendar. Launch or update a week before the IPL, an Indian team series, or the Asia Cup, with names covering terms like "live score" and "where to watch." On match day, post in trending Reels and Telegram channels. Be aware that Cricbuzz and CREX already have hundreds of millions of users, so this path is crowded too.

**When it's too early:** Not applicable. This kind of shell's window is always "the next big tournament with paid exclusive broadcast," and it is always the moment rights holders clean up hardest.

**What would show I got it wrong:** ① This account's apps survive next year's IPL season without being pulled, and installs keep climbing tier by tier. That would mean Google largely ignores this kind of shell and the risk was overestimated. ② Indian official platforms start giving away matches for free on a large scale (say, free live streams of Indian team matches to attract new users), and demand for these shells suddenly disappears. That would mean the paywall is the only foundation this business has. ③ Conversely, if three apps vanish within a single month, the window is shorter than it looks.

Where users come from

- **Confirmed** **Instagram Reels comments / bio links** : the IND vs NZ Reel (10-21, @imgo45_) comments include someone posting the rj.studios Play link; @muhammadishfaq2.0's Reel with 9K likes (10-26) has it in the comments too; @samuelsinha and @jan__blol (2.7K followers) post arrow.escape links.

- Inferred **Telegram channels** : Reels with captions like "Ajao Guys Telegram Channel Par #INDvsNZ" direct people to Telegram, and this app's link appeared under the same post. I did not see the channel content.

- **Verified** **APK mirror sites** : APKPure lists 3 packages. The apktoeasy page is labeled 'Cricket Live TV · Lumora Technologies · MOD: Free Streaming'.

- **Verified** **Match events / paywall** : The periods when installs jumped line up with the Asian Games cricket (9-24–10-03), the West Indies tour of India (from 9-27), the IND vs NZ T20I (10-22–11-01, SonyLIV paid exclusive), and the Hong Kong Sixes (10-30–11-01, #43 on the Hong Kong chart).

- Inferred **Generic Play search terms (ASO)** : The name is simply 'Cricket Live TV', which put it on the free Sports charts in the UAE, Hong Kong, and Saudi Arabia.

- Inferred **User migration after older apps were pulled** : Lumora's Star Sports One has been 404. Reviews on arrow.escape from September mention a 'previous version'. arrow.escape jumped 650k in two days.

## Why Cricket Live TV (com.puzzle.games.rj.studios) is getting traction

> Channel: Google Play · Developer: Lumora Technologies · Launched 2026-08-18 · Version 1.0 (no updates since launch) · Research date 2026-11-06

### Bottom line

It's not the product that's driving this. It's one shell in a matrix of "free cricket live streaming" apps. The same developer account runs 3 nearly identically named packages (1 more have already been pulled), all disguised as casual puzzle games. Demand comes from Indian team matches that require payment to watch (India away against New Zealand, rights held by SonyLIV). Users arrive via Play links shared in Instagram Reels comments, Telegram channels, and APK mirror sites. Revenue comes from ads. Each match window shows up as a tier jump in installs. The only real difference from its peers is that it installs directly from Google Play (unlike sideloaded APKs such as Cricfy TV). Compared with the dozens of same-named Play shells, it has no differentiation.

### 1. Data (our googleplay library, 2026-11-06)

| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Cumulative global installs | 256,636(11-06) |
| New in the last 7 days | +77,162 (nearly all landed on the 11-01 count refresh: +76,591) |
| Post-launch curve (AppstoreSpy estimate, `app_day_ext`) | 9-19 about 2.4K → 9-25 about 27.8K → 10-03 about 46.9K → 10-09 about 168K → 10-28 about 179K → 11-01 about 256K |
| Category chart (free Sports) | 11-06: UAE #25, Hong Kong #43, Saudi Arabia #97. It also appeared in Singapore (#54–58) and Malaysia (#153–198) during 10-29–31. |
| Rating | Pulling the US-store listing didn't give us a rating. The Play India listing shows 1.12K reviews, labeled "Contains ads," and the data safety section says "No data collected." |

**Installs rise in steps, not smoothly.** Play batches install-count refreshes every few days, so the day a jump shows up is not the actual download day. However, the jump periods line up with the match calendar (see section 3). During the 11-01 jump, two other apps in the matrix jumped too: orgde.cric +84.7K on 11-01, and arrow.escape +30.6K on 11-02.

### 2. The matrix: swapped-in packages under one account

| Bundle ID | Name | Launched | Installs (11-06) | Rating | Developer email / privacy policy domains |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| com.puzzle.game.arrow.escape | Cricket Live TV Streaming | 2026-09-04 | 752,021 | 4.4(5,584) | hedatz.dev@gmail.com / durecrdure.me |
| com.circ.puzzle.orgde.cric | Cricket Live TV HD Streaming | 2026-07-25 | 329,593 | 4.8(1,697) | itssabirhossain@gmail.com / nourozblue.xyz, watchmylov.xyz |
| **com.puzzle.games.rj.studios** | **Cricket Live TV** | 2026-08-18 | 256,636 | — (1.12K reviews in the India store) | hedatz.dev@gmail.com / jskapps2026.xyz |
| com.arrow.out.game.puzzle | Star Sports One Live Cricket | — | Pulled (Play returns 404) | Previously 5.0 (2.2K reviews) | — |

- Our database has 3 live apps from this developer, totaling about 1.34M installs. For the pulled Star Sports One app, AppBrain records "500K+ downloads at one point." An AI summary on the Instagram topic page says it had "620k installs, 4.5 stars, and was pulled by Google Play in 2026 October" (unverified). Sources: [www.appbrain.com/app/star-sports-one-live-cricket/com.arrow.…](https://www.appbrain.com/app/star-sports-one-live-cricket/com.arrow.out.game.puzzle), [www.instagram.com/popular/star-sports-one-live-cricket-app/](https://www.instagram.com/popular/star-sports-one-live-cricket-app/)

- The package names all look like puzzle games (puzzle.game.arrow.escape, arrow.out.game.puzzle, puzzle.games.rj.studios). Each package uses a different email and a different .xyz/.me template domain for its privacy policy and app-ads.txt. This is a classic way to evade review and spread out account-ban risk: when one package is pulled after a copyright complaint, the others keep running.

- arrow.escape jumped from 175 to about 657k between 9-17 and 9-19 (AppstoreSpy estimate). Reviews from mid-September say "previous one of this version is better" and "The latest updated version is very good," which suggests users migrated from an older package. Having the older app prompt users in-app to switch to the new one is a common tactic in these matrices. This is inferred from reviews; I did not verify it with the APK.

- Suspicious rating pattern: arrow.escape gained 1,029 ratings on 11-03 (4,356 → 5,385), and orgde.cric gained +248 the same day. Per Apptopia data on the card, orgde.cric has no ratings below 3 stars. Likely an aggressive in-app rating prompt, or a burst of five-star reviews around match day (unverified).

### 3. Where demand comes from: the match calendar plus the paywall

The install jump periods line up with these matches:

- **9-21–25 (+25k), 10-01–03 (+18k)** : 2026 Asian Games men's cricket, 9-24 to 10-03, India vs 9-28 in the 1/4 final (Cricbuzz, Indian Express). The West Indies tour of India also began 9-27 (Wikipedia, International cricket in 2026–27).

- **10-06–09 (+121k, the largest single jump)** : The West Indies tour of India was still ongoing. From 10-09, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka and Afghanistan vs Bangladesh also began. Which of these was the main driver has not been verified.

- **10-28–11-01 (+77k)** : The 5-match T20I series in New Zealand with India touring (10-22 to 11-01), plus the Hong Kong Sixes (10-30 to 11-01, with India and Pakistan both taking part). This also explains why it showed up on the Hong Kong Sports chart.

- **The key paywall** : The India tour of New Zealand was broadcast exclusively on SonyLIV behind a paywall (NDTV: [sports.ndtv.com/new-zealand-vs-india-2026-27/india-vs-new-ze…](https://sports.ndtv.com/new-zealand-vs-india-2026-27/india-vs-new-zealand-free-live-streaming-5th-t20i-live-telecast-when-and-where-to-watch-12265886)). One Instagram Reel (10-21, @imgo45_) says "इंडिया का मैच हैं..पर सोनी लाइव पर आयेगा" (it's India's match, but it's going to air on SonyLIV). Commenters posted this app's Play link directly, while others recommended Cricfy TV, Flixfox, "Sports 1.0," and Castle (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeyDZVBTpVQ/). Viewers who couldn't afford or access the official stream went looking for piracy. That is the demand.

### 4. How users came in (growth levers)

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed? |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram Reels comments / bio links posting Play links | @itskaushalyadavg left rj.studios links under the IND vs NZ Reel (10-21); the "Ajao Guys Telegram Channel Par #INDvsNZ" Reel by @muhammadishfaq2.0 (10-26,9K likes) also had rj.studios links in its comments; @samuelsinha's Reel 10-26 has only an arrow.escape Play link in the caption; @jan__blol (2.7K followers) has an arrow.escape link in their bio | Confirmed |
| Telegram channel | That Reel is what drives people into the Telegram channel, which then distributes the links; I didn't see the channel content itself | Partly confirmed |
| APK mirror / download sites | APKPure has all 3 packages; the apktoeasy page reads "Cricket Live TV APK · Lumora Technologies · MOD: Free Streaming" (https://cricket-live-tv.apktoeasy.com/) | Confirmed |
| Play Store search (generic-term ASO) | The name is "Cricket Live TV", the broadest possible search term, shared with dozens of similarly named apps; it ranks high on the UAE, Hong Kong, and Saudi sports free charts, which suggests some organic search volume | Inferred |
| Migrating users after old packages are taken down | Star Sports One was taken down; arrow.escape's mid-September reviews mention a "previous version"; arrow.escape jumped 650K in two days | Inferred |
| Paid acquisition | No evidence found. I didn't check the Meta ad library; this kind of pirate app generally struggles to get past ad review | Not found |

Monetization: free, ad-supported, no in-app purchases. Every package's developer site points to `/app-ads.txt` (used for ad network verification), and reviews keep complaining "too many ads" and "ads are very lengthy n there's no early skip". The money comes from converting heavy traffic during match windows into ad impressions.

### 5. Competitors

They all do the same thing: free cricket livestreams on your phone:

- **Same-category Play shells (the most direct competition)** : in our library, there are 115 apps with both "cric" and "tv/stream/watch" in the title; 82 of them were listed in 2026, and this group combined reached roughly 11.8M installs in 2026. The largest ones:
    - Live Cricket TV Streaming (PixelGrid Studios, 2026-02-101M installs, +267K in 7 days, #5 on the India sports chart)
    - Live Cricket TV HD (Hardik Dev Apps, 2026-01-242M)
    - Live Cricket TV HD (SkyPixel Apps, 2026-07-12.6M, +226K in 7 days)
    - Live Cricket TV 2026 (maheen fatmia ch, 2026-02-25.5M, #2 on the UAE sports chart)
    - Live Cricket TV HD (VDM Technologies, 2025-22.9M)
    - Live TV: Live Sports Streaming (TRIPATHI, 2026-315M)

On the same day, the top 60 of the UAE sports free chart included more than 15 cricket livestream shells with the same or near-identical names.

- **Historical peers** : many developers have run Star Sports One Live Cricket-style apps. com.starsports.wadhu.top.starsports reached 3.8M installs within 4 months, then was taken down in February 2026 (AppBrain). This category runs on a loop: list, ride one season, get taken down, swap the shell.

- **Sideloaded APKs** : Cricfy TV, Flixfox, Castle and others, not on Play; they spread via Instagram and Telegram (see the Reel comments above).

- **Licensed** : JioHotstar (Star Sports), SonyLIV (rights holder for IND vs NZ), FanCode (Hong Kong Sixes), Willow (North America, 600K), Tamasha (Pakistan, 76M). Licensed services charge money and rights are split across platforms, and which platform carries a given series changes every time. That's exactly the opening pirate shells exploit.

- **Scoreboard giants** : Cricbuzz (239M), CREX (105M), Cricket Guru and others, scores only, no video. The shell apps put "scores + schedules + points table" first in their descriptions, using these compliant features as cover for the piracy.

### 6. Differentiation

- **Versus licensed services** : free, and every match lives in one app, so you don't have to care whether this series is on SonyLIV or JioHotstar. That's the core reason users come, but this "differentiation" rests on piracy.

- **Versus sideloaded APKs** : installable directly from Google Play. Users don't have to enable "unknown sources," which makes it look more trustworthy, and the link is easier to share.

- **Versus other same-named Play shells** : no visible product difference. The descriptions are template copy, the 1.0 version has never been updated since listing, and the screenshots are generic. It runs on sheer volume of packages, timing to match windows, and community members posting links, not on differentiation.

### 7. Visibility

- No press coverage, and nothing turns up on X (x-radar searches for "Lumora Technologies" and the package name returned 0 results in 60 days), and no public revenue. You could call it "not widely known yet." But the **category** itself is packed, with dozens to hundreds of same-named shells every season.

### 8. What others can learn

- **Traffic tied to the match calendar** : installs jump with match days. Whichever series' rights get taken by an exclusive paid platform, that window's demand peaks. The rhythm itself (find the mass demand behind a paywall and hit it during the window) could be carried over to compliant topics, like match schedule reminders, scores, or fan remixes.

- **Multi-package matrix to spread risk** : each package uses a different email and domain, with disguised package names; when one dies, you swap in the next and use in-app prompts to migrate old users. It's a standard counter to takedown risk (here applied to gray content).

- **Community comment-section distribution** : no paid ads; posting Play links in the comments of popular match Reels and in Telegram channels costs almost nothing.

- I don't recommend copying the content itself: piracy carries very high takedown risk, and each user is worth only a bit of ad money.

### 9. Still unclear

- What the streaming source actually is (YouTube, JioHotstar, or third-party m3u8 feeds) is unknown; I didn't get the APK and didn't verify.

- Which country the users are mainly in: commenters appear to include Indians and Pakistanis, but in our chart data it has only charted in the UAE, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Malaysia, and it's not in the top 200 of the India sports chart.

- Whether the ratings are inflated, and whether the app has in-app redirect or migration prompts, are both inferences.

- The exact takedown date for Star Sports One (com.arrow.out.game.puzzle) and its install count at the time have no primary data (the claims come from AppBrain and summaries of the Instagram topic page).

- Whether it runs Meta ads: not checked.
