An app that only "copies": 590k installs in ten weeks, a Bangladeshi AI video prompt library

What it is An AI video prompt directory: watch the sample, tap once to copy the prompt, then take it to Google Flow / Gemini to generate a video.

Why it took off Over the past 2026 years, viral Google Flow videos have been popular on short-video platforms in Bangladesh and India, and users can't write English prompts. Local tutorial creators demonstrate "copy from Easy Prompt, paste into Google Flow," one video went viral, and installs jumped. The developer had previously run the same playbook with the image-based GoPrompt.

BHow you could follow Don't copy head-on in South Asia. Pick a market or a generation tool that Google Flow-style tools are only just starting to catch on in, and build a prompt directory in the local language. Pair it with local AI tutorial creators making viral how-to short videos for traffic, and monetize with rewarded ads.

Grade B: the playbook is clear, costs are low, and few people know about it, and it can be copied by switching markets or tools. But the product has no moat, distribution sits with someone else, ad revenue is thin, and the window follows the generation tool's hype and could close at any time. Chatter in small circles

A small Bangladeshi developer built an app with no AI in it at all, just over a thousand AI video prompts. You watch the sample, tap to copy, then generate in Google Flow. Ten weeks after launch it has 590k installs, nearly all growth coming from South Asian short-video creators making "viral effect" tutorials. Below: how it got started, where the money comes from, who's competing, and whether you could do it again in another country or with another generation tool.

A 65k-view Reel

On the afternoon of Sep 22, 2026, an Indian Facebook account named Anjani Ratan posted a vertical video titled just "Try this viral edit ✨👀," with a misspelled hashtag #cartreandingvideo (car trending video). Going by the search summaries from that period, these videos all follow the same formula: start with an AI-generated "driving" viral clip, then demonstrate copying a prompt from Easy Prompt and pasting it into Google Flow. By November, the video had 65k views and 1 thousand likes. The account's other videos mostly had only a few dozen views.

The first comment was in Hindi: "I can't make this work at all, tell me why the video won't download" (Sadik Ali). The people watching want that effect, and the missing step, "where do I get the prompt," has one answer: an app.

Three days after Sep 25, Easy Prompt gained about 55k more installs in a single day (AppstoreSpy estimate). I can't match this to a specific video, but its growth curve looks like this: flat for a few days, then a sharp one-day spike, which fits the pattern of a tutorial video going viral and lifting it for a while.

What it is: a prompt catalog for AI video

Easy Prompt - Ai Video Prompt, developer Sajjad IT. The store page lists Md Sajjadur Rahman in Chandpur, Chandpur district, Bangladesh. Published on Google Play in 2026 Aug 29, category Art & Design. No iOS version.

The app itself is thin: it lists AI video samples by category, lets you view the prompt, and copies it with one tap. The store page sells three things: "Preview Before You Copy", "One-Tap Copy", and "1000+ free prompts, daily prompts uploaded". It generates nothing. The bottom of the store page even says it is "not affiliated with any AI video generation platform". Users copy a prompt and generate the video themselves in Google Flow (Veo) or Gemini.

This developer isn't new to this. In 2025 November he published GoPrompt - Ai Image Prompt, the same model but for image prompts (at the time, Nano Banana photo editing in Gemini was popular in South Asia), and by early November it had 2.27M installs. Easy Prompt takes the same approach and swaps images for video.

Its home market is Bangladesh. In Nov 6 it ranked #3 on the Bangladesh Art & Design Top Free chart and #193 on the overall Bangladesh Top Free chart (AppWinners), and charted in 90 countries in total. The other strong cluster is the Gulf: #21 in Qatar, #32 in Saudi Arabia, #36 in the UAE. There are many Bangladeshi and South Asian migrant workers there, so the same group is likely installing it (inference).

The traffic mainly comes from South Asian Facebook Reels and short-video tutorial accounts, not from the developer:

  • Indian account Anjani Ratan, a viral "car" tutorial from 9-22 with 65k views.
  • Bangladeshi account Tech Jani posted "হাজার হাজার AI Video Prompt এক অ্যাপে!" (thousands of AI video prompts in one app) 9-29, which got 1.2K views. The account usually posts phone tips like "turn this Chrome setting off now".
  • You can also find several similar tutorials such as "Easy prompt video ai new trending car video" and "Trending AI Walk Couple Video Editing Prompt". They all follow the same loop: viral effect → get the prompt in the app → paste into Google Flow.

The developer's own accounts don't explain the 590k installs: YouTube @sajjaditdotcom has 75.6k subscribers, but its most recent long video was about GoPrompt 11 months ago; TikTok has 1,244 followers, and his September Google Flow tutorials got a few hundred to over a thousand views; the blog sajjadit.com publishes SEO posts like "[X] AI prompt, copy and use". These look more like raw material and templates for tutorial creators than a traffic engine.

The other three sources aren't confirmed: whether GoPrompt's 2.27M older users cross-promote it (inferred, not proven); whether it runs Meta ads (one fake-name page 10-24 posted a Bengali-language video promoting "Easy Prompt AI" as a real person, but it talks about photos, so it's unclear if that's them); and putting "Ai Video Prompt" straight into the title, since people searching that phrase on Play can easily land on it.

Why now

In 2026, Google Flow / Veo caught on in short-video circles in Bangladesh and India, and "making viral videos with Google Flow" became its own tutorial category. The developer himself posted "80's Trending Video Tutorial #GoogleFlow #VideoPrompt" on TikTok in Sep 14. The generation tools are free or cheap; the hard part is writing a long English prompt. For users with weak English on low-end Android phones, "copy a ready-made one" is the whole need.

The Nano Banana photo-editing wave a year earlier had already trained the same users to "go to an app for prompts". GoPrompt and many other image-prompt apps took off then. Video is the next step for the same people, and Easy Prompt is one of the few that targeted that step specifically.

Where the money comes from

Ads only. The store lists "Contains ads" and there are no in-app purchases. A three-star review from Sep 27 (Nayeem Bhai, 6 people found it helpful) says: "Only three stars because I have to watch extra ads... if you change that, more people will download it." Inference: you have to watch rewarded ads to copy or unlock prompts.

Revenue is not public. Rough estimate: Bangladeshi ad rates are very low, and most of the 590k installers probably copy one or two prompts and leave. Ratings are only about 0.1% of installs (GoPrompt is 0.7%), which suggests one-time, light users. At a few cents to a cent or two of ad revenue per install, the ten-week total is probably a few thousand to ten-odd thousand dollars (estimate, low confidence). For an individual developer in Chandpur that is decent money; for a team elsewhere it is a thin, volume-driven business.

Who's competing

The image-prompt category on Play was already crowded, nearly all from small developers in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh:

ProductScale (Google Play installs)What it does
GoPrompt (same developer)2.27MImage prompts, published 2025-11
Prompt Seen775kPhoto-editing prompts
MixPrompt / CoolPrompt / PromptLeez, etc.710k / 210k / 32kA series of shell apps from one studio, WAHA Studios
Prompt Gallery(AppBees)417kGeneral image-prompt galleries
Prompt Photo Lab, Zee Prompt, Prompt Saar, ClickPrompt, etc.20k–250kMuch the same

As far as I can tell, Easy Prompt is currently the only app with "video prompt" in its title that has reached meaningful scale. But another app named "Easy Prompt" (com.lsiappstudio.easyprompt) launched at about the same time. It ran a promo video on Facebook in Aug 25, focused on images, and its scale is unverified. English-language video prompt libraries (youmind, promptessor, and similar) target creators in Europe and the US and don't reach South Asian phone users. The category hardly exists on iOS, and comparable US-store apps have only a few dozen ratings.

It has no moat. The content is public prompts that anyone can copy, and the distribution lives in other people's Reels, not in the app.

If it were you

Grade B. You could do it, but this is a business that follows the hype of generation tools, relies on local tutorial accounts for distribution, and earns thin ad revenue. It is not a product opportunity. What is worth learning is the playbook, not the app.

Who it suits: a small team of 1–2 people who can make short videos in an emerging-market language outside South Asia (Indonesian, Vietnamese, Urdu, Arabic, Tagalog, Brazilian Portuguese), who know or can pay local "AI tips" creators, who can integrate AdMob rewarded ads, and who live somewhere with low costs, where a few thousand dollars a month counts as success.

Who it doesn't suit: anyone who wants subscriptions or high ticket prices (these users don't pay); anyone who only writes code and doesn't work with short video (all the traffic is in Reels); anyone who wants to head-on copy a video prompt app in Bangladesh or India (the developer is already established and same-name copies have appeared).

How to do it: change the place or the tool, not the playbook. First, change markets: pick a country where Google Flow / Veo is just starting to trend in local short video but no local-language prompt app exists yet, and build a local-language video prompt catalog with a sample for each entry, one-tap copy, and rewarded-ad unlocks. Second, change the upstream tool: whichever generator is taking off in a given market (Grok Imagine, Seedance, Kling), build a "prompt companion" for it. Update prompts daily, featuring only what's viral locally right now, rather than a generic "cinematic" encyclopedia.

How to get users: run 3–5 local-language "viral effect tutorial" Reels / TikTok accounts, each covering one effect and ending with "the prompt is in the app". At the same time, give prompts free to local AI-tips creators so their tutorials point to your app. Watch the install curve: if it jumps, find out which video drove it, then make ten more like it. Put the term locals actually search for in the title.

Deadline: ship the first market by end of Dec 2026. This category rides the generation tools' hype. Easy Prompt went from launch to its single-day peak in five weeks and daily adds had fallen to a few thousand by mid-October. Once the "Google Flow viral video" buzz in a market fades, the window closes.

How I could be wrong: ① Easy Prompt's weekly new installs fell below 10k in December, and GoPrompt is also declining, which suggests the whole prompt-app wave is receding, not just one market saturating. ② Google Flow or Gemini may ship built-in, region-specific "trending templates" you can apply with one click, which would eliminate this middle layer. ③ Google Play could remove prompt-only apps for "thin content / limited functionality" (inference: this risk exists, not yet seen). ④ The market you pick could see two or three local-language video prompt apps reach the top 20 of its category within three months. Then you're late, so move to the next market.

Why Easy Prompt - Ai Video Prompt (com.sajjadit.easyprompt) took off

Channel: Google Play | Developer: Sajjad IT (Bangladesh) | Launched: 2026-08-29 | Research date: 2026-11-06

Bottom line

It's an "AI video prompt library" from Bangladeshi developer Sajjad IT: a grid of sample clips showing popular AI video effects, tap to copy the prompt, then paste it into Google Flow (Veo) or Gemini to generate. What drove its growth isn't the product but a content chain in South Asia (mainly Bangladesh) of "viral AI video tutorials" on Facebook Reels and TikTok. Tutorial creators demo "download Easy Prompt → copy prompt → paste into Google Flow", using the prompts inside the app as the download hook. The developer already ran this playbook with GoPrompt (an image-prompt sister app, 2025-11M installs, launched 2.27), and this time moved the same approach from images to video, catching the moment Veo / Google Flow was spreading in South Asia. Monetized through ads (including rewarded ads that unlock content).

Data (our library googleplay, 2026-11-06)

  • Global cumulative installs 593,399; +62,709 in the last 7 days (about +12%); rating 4.2 from 602 reviews (googleplay.app_profile / app_snap).
  • Installs-to-ratings ratio is about 0.1% (GoPrompt is 0.7%), suggesting many are light, one-time users who came to copy a prompt.
  • Trajectory since launch (AppstoreSpy estimates, googleplay.app_day_ext): 9-15 about 13k → 9-25 about 114k → 10-04 about 314k → 10-08 about 397k → 10-21 about 490k → 11-06 about 593k. Growth comes in stepped spikes: 9-16 (+27k), 9-25 (+55k), 10-02–04 (+90k), and 10-08 (+82k) each saw sharp multi-day surges, with the rest only a few thousand a day. It's the classic shape of "a tutorial video went viral", not steady paid acquisition. After mid-October it settled back to about 3–8k per day.
  • Chart: Of the 30 storefronts in our database, the best are Saudi Arabia Art & Design Top Free #20, UAE #28, Singapore #31, and India #46 (googleplay.chart_rank, from 10-29). The real home market, Bangladesh, is not among our 30 storefronts: AppWinners shows 11-06 at #3 in Bangladesh Art & Design Top Free and #193 in Bangladesh overall Top Free, charted in 90 countries' category charts. The Gulf states (Qatar #21, Saudi Arabia #32, Oman #34, Kuwait #36, UAE #36) rank high, which points to Bangladeshi and South Asian migrant workers (https://appwinners.eu/app/android/com.sajjadit.easyprompt/easy-prompt-ai-video-prompt).
  • Monetization: the store listing says "Contains ads", no in-app purchases (app_snap.offers_iap=False). A review complains about having to "watch too many ads" (Nayeem Bhai, 2026-09-27, Play page), which indicates a design where you watch rewarded ads to copy or unlock.

"AI prompt library apps" on Play are a crowded small category in South Asia, almost entirely small developers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh:

In our library, it's the only app with "video prompt" in the title. In the "video prompt" sub-niche it's nearly alone, but the broader "prompt library" category is very crowded.

Growth tactics (evidence)

  1. South Asian Facebook Reels / short-video tutorial creators drive volume (main channel, evidenced):
    • The Facebook page "Tech Jani" (newly created) ran "🔥 হাজার হাজার AI Video Prompt এক অ্যাপে! EasyPrompt" (thousands of AI video prompts in one app), 1.2K views 2026-09-29.
    • The Facebook page "Anjani Ratan" (India) ran "Try this viral edit", 65K views and 1K likes 2026-09-22, with comments asking about the download. Search snippets show it's a tutorial on "download Easy Prompt, copy a trending video prompt → synthesize with Google Flow".
    • Search results also show several similar tutorials, such as "Easy prompt video ai new trending car video | Nobi SK" (Samrat Sarkar demoing a viral driving video in Google Flow) and "Trending AI Walk Couple Video Editing Prompt on Easy…".
    • These all follow the "viral effect → go to the app for the prompt" playbook. The spikes on the growth curve line up in time with these tutorials (late September and early October), but we can't match specific videos to specific installs (unverified).
  2. Developer's own channels (weak): YouTube @sajjaditdotcom has 75.6k subscribers, but its most recent long video is a GoPrompt tutorial from 11 months ago (389k views). TikTok has only 1,244 followers, though it posted several Google Flow / video prompt tutorials in September (a few hundred to over a thousand views). The Facebook page @sajjaditdotcom posts GoPrompt photo-editing tutorials, and the blog sajjadit.com publishes SEO posts titled "XX AI prompt (copy and use)". The developer's own accounts are too small to explain 500k+ installs; their main role is supplying material and templates for creators.
  3. Cross-promotion from existing users / sister app (speculative): GoPrompt has 2.27M users, and the store pages and developer page link to each other. In-app cross-promotion is likely but unverified.
  4. Paid acquisition: possible. The Facebook page "Winters Smallkmi" (fake persona, category listed as beauty salon) ran a Bengali live-action promo for "Easy Prompt AI" 10-24 (4.2K views, "Turn any photo into the trend… Download free!"). It resembles the fake-persona pages small apps often use for ads, but the video is about photos, so we're not sure it's this app. Our Meta ad library (keywords cover only English, German, Japanese and Chinese markets) finds no Sajjad IT ads. Uncertain.
  5. Store search: the name directly includes "Ai Video Prompt", so it's easy to surface when South Asian users search "ai video prompt". Part of the long-tail volume probably comes from this (inferred).

Why now

  • Google Flow / Veo 3.x entered mainstream South Asia in 2026: short-video communities in Bangladesh and India made "AI viral videos with Google Flow" popular in 2026 (developer TikToks like 9-08 "Google Flow AI-এর জাদু দেখুন!" and 9-14 "80's Trending Video Tutorial #GoogleFlow #VideoPrompt"). Generation tools are free or cheap, but writing long English prompts is hard, so "copy a ready-made prompt" became a must-have.
  • The Gemini Nano Banana photo-editing wave in the second half of 2025 had already built the habit of "finding a prompt app" in South Asia (GoPrompt and many image-prompt apps took off then). Video is the next step for the same users.

Differentiation

  • Compared with peers: nearly all prompt apps focus on images (photo edits, group photos, avatars). This one is among the few focused on video prompts, and each one comes with a previewable sample clip (store copy: "Preview Before You Copy"). It has almost no competition on the "AI video prompt" search term and topic.
  • Compared with web tools and big companies: it doesn't generate anything. It just curates the effects trending in South Asia right now, localized around the "copy and paste into Google Flow" action, and fits low-end Android phones and users who aren't comfortable in English.
  • Is this differentiation why it took off? Partly: the "video" positioning let it ride the new Google Flow viral-video traffic instead of competing in the saturated image-prompt space. But what really drove volume is creator distribution and the developer's existing playbook. The product itself has no moat (the content is public prompts anyone can copy, and same-name apps have already appeared).

How many people have seen it

  • Revenue is not public (ad-only, small developer, not on TrustMRR, no founder disclosures).
  • No mentions in English X coverage (x-radar search "EasyPrompt": 0 posts in 60 days). Press coverage is limited to automatic listings on download sites like Softonic, CNET Download and AppBrain.
  • It's circulating in South Asian Facebook tutorial creator circles. The category is already crowded with image-prompt apps, and few have copied the video-prompt angle yet. Conclusion: circulating in a small circle (South Asian Facebook tutorial scene).

Copycats

  • A same-name "Easy Prompt" (com.lsiappstudio.easyprompt, Facebook page "Easy Prompt Apps"): the name collides, timing is similar, scale unverified.
  • In the "prompt library" category, the one-company, many-clone-apps playbook from WAHA Studios (MixPrompt, CoolPrompt, PromptLeez...) is already common. Doing video prompts is just a matter of time.

What others can borrow

  1. "Trending AI effect → go to the app for the prompt" is a reusable distribution chain: the app is just a directory of content, and the real distribution sits with tutorial creators. The approach is to seed local-language Facebook Reels / TikTok with "viral effect tutorials" and use the prompts inside the app as the download hook.
  2. Follow the upstream generation tools as they spread: whichever generator (Veo/Google Flow, Nano Banana, Seedance, Grok Imagine) just took off in a market, build a "prompt companion" app for it there.
  3. After validating the playbook with the first app (GoPrompt), copy it into a new sub-category (video) and monetize with the same ads.
  4. In low-price markets, monetize with AdMob + rewarded ads, not subscriptions.

Still unclear

  • Which of 9-16, 9-25, 10-04, 10-08 spikes came from which tutorial/creator; did they pay creators.
  • Any Meta / Google UAC ads (our ad library doesn't cover South Asia).
  • Any cross-promotion within GoPrompt.
  • How much ad revenue (Bangladesh eCPM is very low; 590k installs with very poor retention, so revenue may be small).
  • Retention: installs-to-ratings ratio is only 0.1%, likely most people copy once and leave.
