Vazuno - Video Calls&Chat · Charestleking

# An Indian video chat app that hit 200k installs in under a month is actually the newest of 17 shells

**What it is** An Android 1v1 video chat app for Indian male users: text chat plus video calls, with coin purchases, paid video with hosts, and gifts.

**Why it took off** The same template with a new name and package. In late October it was bought in India only (inferred), and within two or three days it added about 50k installs and cracked the top 30 of India's Social Top Free chart; 11-04 afterward, volume dropped off.

**D** **How you could follow it** Don't build yet another video chat package. What's worth learning is the combined playbook: older packages collect the money, new packages drive volume, and single-country category charts are used to test creatives and packages cheaply. Apply that thinking to a category that is compliant and has real value.

Grade D: it runs on ad budget, developer accounts that can be swapped out at any time, and a paying back catalog and host pool, not on the product. There are dozens of similar disguised apps; the big players include FRND, Chamet, Tango; the 18+ paid companionship category carries high delisting risk, and indie developers have no gap to move into. Not on many people's radar yet

Data (updated daily) · first launch 2026-10-09 · 11-07 installs 198,847

Android · Total installs worldwide

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations). Google's detail page only refreshes install counts every other day, so a flat day doesn't mean nobody installed.

Vazuno is an Android video chat app used by Indian users. It launched in Oct 9, and by Nov 6 it had nearly 200k installs on Google Play, at one point reaching #25 on India's Social Top Free chart. There's nothing new about it: the same developer account has 16 other nearly identical apps, and the ones actually making money are older packages whose downloads stopped long ago. Vazuno's job is to pull in users. Below: how this matrix rotates, where the money is, and why I wouldn't recommend following it.

### "it has a familiar feel"

In Nov 5, a user named Dusmanta Mj left a review on Vazuno's India store page: "it has a familiar feel." That nailed it. Scroll down the same page and the "More by Charestleking" section lists LaceLink, Sangio, SparkSol, CuteSoul, Seyora, Sevina: different names, different icons, and store copy that's the same few lines, "Video Chat" and "Chat & Connect."

The other visible reviews are similar: "Vazuno is the best aplication 👌" (10-29) and "nice app for chat and calling" (11-02). Nearly 200k installs with only 227 reviews, rated 4.4 stars, all vague one-line praise. It looks seeded or incentivized (inferred, unverified).

The store description likewise names no concrete feature: "instant messaging for written exchanges and video calls for live conversation." It's written this vaguely both to get past review, and so the same copy can be reused for the next package with a new name. The first public version number is 2.5.1, which suggests the code was ready-made, not newly written.

### Where the volume came from

Google Play installs (before 10-29, the numbers are third-party estimates):

| Date | Total installs |
|---|---|
| 10-21 | 44k |
| 10-23 | 54k |
| 10-25 | 101k |
| 10-31 | 153k |
| 11-04 | 194k |
| 11-06 | 199k |

In 10-24 and 10-25 it added about 47k over two days, peaking at over 20,000 in a day; by 11-05 and 11-06, the two days combined added only about 5,000. It has only ever appeared on the Social Top Free chart in one country: 10-29 #36,11-02, #25,11-06 dropping to #64; it has never made the Top Grossing chart.

Spending in one country only, climbing in steps and then falling off in steps, is the shape of paid acquisition, not organic word of mouth (inferred; no ad creatives were seen). Its privacy policy states it remarkets on "Facebook, Google, Twitter, UnityAds, Snapchat, and Bytedance," meaning it's designed to rely on paid acquisition. Searching "vazuno" on TikTok turns up no relevant videos; on X there were 30 posts in 0 days; the only search hits online are auto-generated pages on APK download sites.

The India Social Top Free chart has a low bar: a few thousand to ten thousand installs a day can get you into the top 50, so a modest paid-acquisition budget quickly buys chart exposure.

### The money is in the older packages, not in this one

The business is paid 1v1 video companionship: male users buy coins (Vazuno's IAPs run $1.99 to $99.99 per tier), paying per minute, for host videos, and for gifts.

The third-party estimator AppGazers estimated October figures for the apps under the Charestleking account (model estimates, order of magnitude only):

| App | Estimated monthly IAP revenue | Estimated monthly downloads |
|---|---|---|
| Aizz - Video Chatting | $24k–113k | Under 5,000 |
| Omevia - Stay Chat | $19k–91k | 18k–87k |
| Seyora - Chat & Connect | $16k–77k | 12k–57k |
| Zomi - Video Chat | $16k–75k | Under 5,000 |
| SeyoStar | $8k–39k | Under 5,000 |
| LaceLink | Under $5,000 | 46k–215k |
| **Vazuno** | **Under $5,000** | **27k–133k** |
| 17 combined | $96k–514k | 210k–1M |

The pattern is clear: the older packages with few downloads left (Aizz, Zomi, SeyoStar) make the most money, while the new packages scaling volume (LaceLink, Vazuno) barely make any. One explanation is that paying users accumulated in the older packages keep topping up, while new packages bring in fresh users, fill the charts, and replace packages that will be delisted later. The other is that several packages share one backend and host pool, so new-package users end up paying the same pool. Neither has been verified.

The older packages' reviews show how the money is collected. On Aizz's page, a one-star review from Jul 2 reads: "if we purchase a vip subscription it will run for few times then it will lock automatically," and right next to it is a long, scripted-sounding five-star review.

### Who's behind it

The developer info on the store pages is a personal name: Mash Hooda Bano, with an address in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, and a Gmail support address; the sibling package LaceLink uses a different Gmail. Registering accounts under personal names with Gmail addresses is a common way of buying and renting accounts for shell matrices (inferred).

But Vazuno's privacy policy is hosted on noaheartapp.com, which also serves pages for sibling packages like sparksol and sevina. That domain resolves to an address on Tencent Cloud International, and the same machine hosts crushchatgirl.com and other video chat app pages, one of which has a host-side download page recruiting hosts in Facebook groups under "Earn …" messaging. So it's more likely a Chinese team running an overseas 1v1 video business: one backend, many front-end packages, with hosts supplied from a shared pool (inferred from shared servers and templates). The privacy policy itself was copied wholesale from a European dating app and says data is "processed outside of Switzerland and the EEA," which has nothing to do with Indian users.

### Who it's competing with

| Competitors | Scale (Google Play) | Difference |
|---|---|---|
| The 16 sibling packages under the same account | LaceLink 930k, Aizz 500k+ | The same thing with only the name and icon swapped |
| Bandi, MeetJoy, MeetWave, MasaCall and other new packages from the same period | Bandi 10-07 launched, 190k; MeetJoy 660k | Similar disguised apps from other teams, moving at nearly the same pace |
| FRND, Dostt | FRND 79M, #9 on India's Social Top Free chart | Local Indian brands, mainly voice companionship |
| Tango, Chamet, Azar, OmeTV | 78M to 390M | Big platforms with brands and organic traffic |

11-06 India social free chart, #50 to #80. About half the chart is these apps. Dozens of new apps of the same type shipped in the past 120 days, and by 7-day net installs, Vazuno ranks around #4. People aren't copying it. They're running the same template.

### If it were you

**D** Worth knowing, not worth copying. Vazuno got where it is on an India paid-acquisition budget, a developer account that can be swapped out at will, and an older app and streamer pool that's already making money. The product itself isn't the reason. Anyone starting from zero has none of those.

**Who it suits** : going-global companies already running 1v1 video in India and the Middle East, with streamer supply, payment channels, a UA team and a stock of developer accounts. For them this is routine.

**Who it doesn't suit** : nearly every solo indie or small team. The barrier isn't the app, it's streamer supply, payments and anti-fraud. 18+ paid companion apps get delisted and banned from Google Play all the time, which is why these matrices keep rotating in new apps.

**If you still want to do it, how** : don't build another app. The part worth learning is the portfolio play: judge a matrix as a whole, where older apps collect money and new apps bring in traffic and don't need to pay back on their own. A single country's category chart has a low bar, so it's a cheap place to test creatives and apps. Apply the approach to compliant categories with real value (utilities, learning, licensed content). Paid acquisition is the only real channel here: target by country on Google App Ads, Meta or TikTok. This category has no organic traffic.

**Timing** : no window to race. This is a long-running business. Vazuno is just one of the October batch, and volume has already been pulled back 11-04 days later.

**What would mean I got it wrong** : if Vazuno keeps growing installs after paid volume stops, reaches the top grossing chart, or gets reviews that describe actual use instead of generic praise, then it may really be retaining users and not just a throwaway app that was pumped with installs.

Competitors

| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from this one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Charestleking's sister apps (Aizz / Omevia / Seyora / Zomi / LaceLink and others) | Android | starting 2026-01 | 17 apps, AppGazers estimates combined October in-app purchases at $95.8K–$513.8K; LaceLink has 929k installs | Same template, same backend, only the name and icon change. Older apps collect money, new ones like Vazuno bring in users. |
| Bandi - Live Video Chat | Android | 2026-10-07 | 190k installs, 7 days +82k | Almost identical: same week of launch, same install-pumping rhythm, part of the Salwa / Halwa matrix |
| MeetJoy (METAZ) | Android | 2026-08-04 | 662k, +157k in 7 days, charted in 5 countries | Singapore company entity, spans several countries. Vazuno only targets India. |
| MeetWave / Talkora / MasaCall / Titli / Huppi and other new apps from the same period | Android | 2026-08 ~ 10 | Tens of thousands up to 250k | No visible product difference. Only the operator and target countries differ. |
| Tango / Chamet / Azar / OmeTV | iOS | Years | 78M to 390M installs | Big branded platforms with organic traffic. Vazuno lives off the paid-acquisition long tail next to them. |
| FRND / Dostt (India-based companion apps) | Android | Years | FRND 79.4M, India SOCIAL #9 | Local brands, voice-first. Vazuno is an overseas shell that does video. |
| WhatsApp / Instagram video calls | Big-company features | Years | Billions | No stranger matching or paid streamers, so not a direct substitute |

Where users come from

- Inferred **Paid acquisition or incentivized installs (India only)** : charted only in India; about +47k over two days, 10-24 and 10-25, then fell in steps. Privacy policy says it retargets on Facebook, Google, Twitter, UnityAds, Snapchat and Bytedance. Not tracked in the metaads / googleads libraries.

- **Confirmed** **Chart climbing** : India SOCIAL free chart 10-29 #36 → 11-02 #25 → 11-06 #64 (googleplay library chart_rank)

- Inferred **Incentivized or fake reviews** : India store rating 4.4 stars, 227 reviews. Visible reviews are generic short praise ("it has a familiar feel", "Vazuno is the best aplication"), out of proportion to 200k installs.

- **Confirmed** **Shell-matrix reskin** : the Play developer page and AppGazers show the same account with 17 apps on the same template. Privacy-page domains noaheartapp.com / vocanest123.com are shared across several apps. Servers sit on Tencent Cloud AS132203, and the same machines host crushchatgirl.com and tauriychat21.com. The first public version was 2.5.1.

- Inferred **TikTok / X / Reddit / press** : TikHub, x-radar and Jina return nothing relevant.

## Why Vazuno - Video Calls&Chat (com.vazuno.datchat) got traction

> Channel: Google Play / developer Charestleking / launched 2026-10-09 / category SOCIAL / 18+ / in-app purchases $1.99–$99.99 / research date: 2026-11-06

### Bottom line

The product itself gives no reason for it to take off. Vazuno is the newest of 17 same-template paid video-chat apps under the Charestleking developer account. From week 2 after launch it pushed installs hard, only in India (most likely paid acquisition or incentivized installs). From 10-23 to 10-25 it added over 20,000 a day over three days, which pushed it onto the India SOCIAL free chart (best #25). Volume was pulled back after 11-04. The matrix runs on a simple split: new apps bring in traffic, older apps collect money. AppGazers estimates that Aizz, Omevia, Seyora and Zomi each earn tens of thousands of dollars a month in in-app purchases, while new apps like Vazuno are estimated at under $5K.

### 1. Data: how big it actually got

- Cumulative installs (googleplay library, exact maxInstalls from the Play listing, global): 10-29 is 122,615,11-06, 198,847. +76,232 over 7 days, store tier 100K+.

- Install curve since launch (googleplay library `app_day_ext`, AppstoreSpy estimates, days without observations are averaged): 10-21 44,398 → 10-23 54,420 → 10-25 101,425 (+47k over 10-24 and 10-25) → 10-27 122,615 → 10-31 152,563 → 11-03 183,108 → 11-04 193,627 → 11-06 198,847. Daily gains fell from a peak of about ~23k to about ~2,600 by 11-05/06.

- Chart (googleplay library `chart_rank`): only ever charted in one country's SOCIAL free chart, India. It started at #10-29 and peaked at #36,11-02 before falling to #25,11-06 and then #64. It never made any top-grossing chart.

- Rating: our library pulls it from the US listing, where rating and reviews are empty. The India store page (read via Jina from play.google.com, gl=in, 11-06) shows **4.4 stars, 227 reviews** . Visible reviews are short praise such as "it has a familiar feel." (11-05), "Vazuno is the best aplication 👌" (10-29), and "nice app for chat and calling". With nearly 200k installs and only 227 reviews, all vague, it fits the profile of incentivized or fake reviews (unverified).

- Versions: the first public version was 2.5.1 (10-13 update), and it reached 2.5.3 by 11-03. A new app already at 2.5.x means the code wasn't written from scratch but reskinned from an existing codebase.

- Revenue (AppGazers model estimate, 10-07 to 11-06): Vazuno's in-app purchases are under $5K, with 26.9k–132k new downloads. Our own measurement over the same period shows about 150k new installs, higher than AppGazers' median estimate, and the gap is likely non-organic traffic.

### 2. Who it is: 17 shells under one developer account

- The Play developer page for "Charestleking" (Jina reading play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Charestleking) and the AppGazers developer report (appgazers.com/reports/developers/android-Charestleking, updated 11-06) both list **17 apps** , all Social: "X - Video Chat", "Chat & Connect", "Video Calls&Chat".

- AppGazers estimates for October (80% range, model-based, not public revenue): | App | Est. monthly IAP | Est. monthly downloads | |---|---|---| | Aizz - Video Chatting (500K+) | $23.7K–$113.4K | <5K | | Omevia - Stay Chat | $18.9K–$90.7K | 17.7K–87K | | Seyora - Chat & Connect | $16K–$76.7K | 11.6K–56.8K | | Zomi - Video Chat | $15.7K–$75.3K | <5K | | CivioLove - Make Friends | $13.3K–$63.5K | 10.2K–50.2K | | SeyoStar : Video Calls&Chat | $8.2K–$39.2K | <5K | | LaceLink - Chat & Video Calls | <$5K | 46K–215.4K | | SparkSol - Chat&Make Friends | <$5K | 24.6K–121.1K | | **Vazuno - Video Calls&Chat** | **<$5K** | **26.9K–132.5K** | | CuteSoul - Video Chat | <$5K | 19.4K–95.6K | | 17 total | $95.8K–$513.8K | 207.6K–1M |

The table shows the play clearly: **the older apps with estimated downloads under 5K (Aizz, Zomi, SeyoStar) collect the most money, while the new apps still pulling in users (LaceLink, SparkSol, Vazuno, CuteSoul) barely collect anything.** One explanation is that paying users in the older apps keep topping up, and new apps exist to replace new users, hold chart spots, and stand in for apps that will later be delisted. Another is that new apps funnel users back into the same backend (several apps share one streamer pool). Neither is verified.

- Our library has 3 of them (googleplay library): LaceLink (2026-01-29 launch, 929k, +22.7k over 7 days, India SOCIAL free #79), SparkSol (03-1.22M, not charting this week), and Vazuno.

- Developer entity: the India store page's "About the developer" lists **Mash Hooda Bano, a personal address in Bahawalpur, Pakistan** , with support email dulemischarest@gmail.com (LaceLink uses a different gmail, bltajy17@gmail.com). Registering a developer account under a personal name with a gmail address is a common way shell matrices buy or rent accounts. Each account may not be run by the same person (inferred).

- Underlying tech and operator: the privacy policy sits at service.noaheartapp.com/vazuno/…, and the same domain also hosts sparksol, sevina and other subpaths. LaceLink's is at service.vocanest123.com, which also hosts luvpika. bgp.he.net shows noaheartapp.com resolving to 101.32.39.x, an address block on **AS132203 (Tencent Cloud International)** . The same machine also hosts crushchatgirl.com and tauriychat21.com (privacy pages for the Yarlove video-chat app). crushchatgirl.com has a `act.crushchatgirl.com/anchorEndDownload/...` streamer download page, and streamers are recruited in Facebook groups with "Earn …" pitches. This is most likely a Chinese going-global 1v1 video-chat team: one backend, many front-end apps, streamers supplied from a shared pool (inferred from the shared servers and templates).

- The privacy policy is copied wholesale from a European dating app template (the Lovoo / Jaumo type), with lines like "processed outside of Switzerland and the EEA" and "Premium Member" that have nothing to do with Indian users. Worth noting is the remarketing list: "Facebook, Google, Twitter, UnityAds, Snapchat, and Bytedance". That tells you the design is built around paid acquisition.

### 3. Competitors: who else is doing the same thing

The business is paid 1v1 video companionship: male users buy coins and pay per minute to video-chat with hosts. India and the Gulf South Asian market are the main battlefield.

- **Same-matrix sibling packs** : Aizz, Omevia, Seyora, Zomi, CivioLove, SeyoStar, LaceLink, SparkSol, CuteSoul, Sevina and more (AppGazers). These are the closest competitors, and they're really competing with each other.

- **New sibling packs from the same period** (googleplay library, launched within 120 days, descriptions mention video call/chat, sorted by 7-day growth): MeetJoy (METAZ, 08-4.66M, +157k), MeetWave (08-10.3M, +85k, India DATING #36), Bandi (10-7.19M, +82k), **Vazuno (10-9.2M, +76k)** , Roost (1.24M, +69k), MasaCall (64k, +61k), Xun (26 countries), SalwaJoy (488k), Yumeli, Talkora (India DATING #3), Huppi, Titli, Milna Pro and others. Vazuno ranks #4 in this group, with scale and pace nearly identical to Bandi, which launched the same week.

- **Neighbors on India's SOCIAL Top Free chart** (11-06, #50–#80): Snugmi (720k, +164k), Tarki Live, Alove, Wooka, Meeya (15.1M), XHub, Linko, Hazz, Dildial Call, plus its sibling LaceLink (#79). Most of the dozen or so packs around its rank are the same kind of thing.

- **Head brands** : Tango (387M installs), Chamet (78.4M), Azar (293M), OmeTV (254M), FRND (79.4M, India SOCIAL #9), Dostt, Bigo Live (googleplay library, cited in earlier Bandi / Huppi reports in this repo).

- **Big-platform features** : WhatsApp and Instagram both do video calls, but they don't do stranger matching or paid hosts, so they're not direct substitutes.

- **Web / open source** : After Omegle shut down 2023 years ago, random video chat was taken over by OmeTV and Chatroulette. Open-source projects have nothing to do with this business's key ingredient (host supply plus coins).

**Differentiation** : None. The name, icon and store copy ("instant messaging … and video calls") are all very generic, which gets it past Play review and makes it easy to reskin in bulk. Its only "difference" is in the package name and icon.

### 4. Growth tactics

| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed? |
|---|---|---|
| Paid acquisition or incentivized installs, India only | Charted in India only; about +47k over 10-24 and 10-25, then fell back in steps; 200k installs, 227 reviews; the privacy policy names remarketing on Facebook, Google, Twitter, Unity, Snapchat and Bytedance | Inferred (the acquisition pattern is clear, but I haven't seen creatives) |
| Pushing the category chart | India SOCIAL Top Free #36 → #25 → #64, tracking the buying cadence | Confirmed (googleplay library) |
| Incentivized reviews / fake ratings | India store 4.4 stars / 227 reviews; visible reviews are vague short praise | Inferred |
| Reskinned matrix | 17 same-template packs under one developer account; they share the privacy-page domain and a Tencent Cloud server; the first version was 2.5.1 | Confirmed (Play developer page, AppGazers, bgp.he.net) |
| Host supply (supply side) | crushchatgirl.com, on the same server, has a host-side download page and recruits in Facebook groups | Partly confirmed; the direct link to Vazuno is inferred |
| TikTok / X / Reddit / press | TikHub searches for "vazuno" and "vazuno app" returned nothing relevant; x-radar: 0 posts in 30 days; Jina / Exa search only turned up auto-indexed pages like AppBrain and CNET download sites | Confirmed none |
| Our ad library | These 10 packs don't show up in metaads or googleads (they aren't on the tracking list, so not finding them doesn't mean they aren't advertised) | No data |

How the money comes back: male users buy coin packs at $1.99–$99.99 and pay for 1v1 video and gifts with hosts. Paying users on the older packs are the main revenue (AppGazers estimates tens of thousands of dollars a month for the older packs). New packs buy traffic at a cost per install to refill the user pool, then get swapped for the next pack once they're delisted or traffic decays.

### 5. How many people are seeing it now

- No public revenue figures, no founder, no press coverage, 0 posts on X. Only third-party estimators like AppGazers and auto-indexed APK download sites.

- But the "India 1v1 paid video chat reskin matrix" category is already extremely crowded. The googleplay library has dozens of similar new packs within 120 days, and about half of India's SOCIAL Top Free #50–#80 are this type. Copycats are already here, and they aren't copying this app specifically; everyone is copying the same template.

### 6. Why it ran (by the evidence)

1. A concentrated paid push: 10-23 to 10-25 shows single-day step increases of over 20,000, India only, and the pattern is acquisition (googleplay library `app_day_ext`).

2. India's SOCIAL Top Free chart has a low bar: a few thousand to ten thousand installs a day is enough to reach the top 50, so paid acquisition quickly turns into chart exposure (googleplay library `chart_rank`).

3. Behind it is a mature matrix: 17 same-template packs sharing a backend, servers and a host pool; older packs earn money each month, new packs buy traffic, and new packs don't have to pay back on their own (AppGazers, bgp.he.net).

4. The demand already exists: Indian male users' willingness to pay for video companionship has been proven for years by Tango, Chamet, FRND and others, and the reskinned packs live off the long tail of that paid demand.

### 7. What others can borrow

- The "old packs earn, new packs buy traffic" combination: estimated revenue is concentrated in older packs with few new downloads, and new packs exist only to fill the user pool and hold chart spots. To judge a matrix you have to look at the whole portfolio, not one pack.

- Small countries and single-store category charts have a low bar: tens of thousands of dollars in paid acquisition can push a new pack into India's SOCIAL top 30, which makes them good for testing creatives and rotating packs.

- Compliance shell: vague store copy, a 18+ rating with "Users Interact", a privacy policy copied from a European template, and a developer account under a personal name all lower the odds of review scrutiny. But they also show how high-risk this playbook is (delisting, account bans).

- For an ordinary indie developer to do this, the barrier isn't the app. It's host supply, payments and anti-fraud, and those depend on resources.

### 8. Uncertain

- Which channel the push ran through (Meta, Google UAC, Unity, Bytedance, or an incentivized offer wall). No creatives seen.

- Whether Vazuno and the older packs share the same host pool and account system.

- Whether the 17 packs are run by one company, or one template vendor is selling to multiple clients.

- AppGazers' revenue numbers are model estimates. The order of magnitude is a useful reference; the specific figures shouldn't be taken as fact.

- What happens after 11-04: whether the spend was stopped, the pack was swapped out, or Play throttled it. Unknown.
