"No DMs here, find me on Xeya": a Gulf voice-room app, and the big company behind it

What it is A voice party-room app for Arabic and Turkish users: chat in rooms, PK battles, and users buy coins to send gifts to hosts.

Why it took off A big company's existing accounts, payments, and gift system, dressed in a new skin. It first paid Gulf mega-influencers to promote it on TikTok, then ran the #XeyaGulf hashtag, then seeded a batch of "girl persona" alt accounts that drive traffic daily, steadily adding over a thousand installs a day.

DHow you could follow it Don't build yet another Gulf voice-room app. What's worth taking is its three-stage TikTok acquisition playbook (influencers for initial lift, a hashtag, then persona alt accounts), applicable to your own stranger-social or companion product.

Grade D: it runs on backend and host supply that followers can't get. In the category, Yalla, Xena, and YoHo are already at tens of millions to hundreds of millions of installs. Even with those foundations, Xeya only reaches #143 on the Saudi Entertainment Top Grossing chart. Hardly anyone knows about it yet

Xeya is a group voice-party app for users in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Turkey. Over half a year since launch it has reached 238k installs, adding over a thousand a day. On the surface it looks like a quietly growing small product. Dig deeper and its top-up page belongs to YoHo, and its website and Xena Lite run on the same template. It's a new package in a publicly listed company's voice-room lineup. Below: how it gets users, how it takes money, and why small teams struggle to follow.

A "girl" posting two videos a day

On Nov 6, an account called rleeumnd39v21j on TikTok posted another video, with a caption word-for-word identical to dozens of earlier ones: "#اكسبلور #سوالف #xeya" (explore, chatting, xeya). By that day it had 82 views. The two previous days had a couple hundred each, and one video from Nov 3 reached 7,339. The account has 19k followers, and its bio reads:

لا أرد على الخاص هنا 🚫 تعال دور علي في Xeya 👇 خلينا نسولف وننبسط سوا 😘 — No DMs here 🚫 come find me on Xeya 👇 let's chat and have fun together 😘

At least ten accounts like this exist, with gibberish usernames (vownbiaei1ato9, jaknxbugda1mgv, fdniwflnbifn3r…), follower counts from 7 hundred to 47k, two posts a day, identical captions. The earliest I could find is from Jul 28, tagged #riyadh #jeddah #saudiarabia #xeya. jaknxbugda1mgv's Aug 27 post has 426k views; rleeumnd39v21j's Oct 26 post has 256k.

This is an old trick in the voice-room industry: use "a stranger girl is waiting for you" as the hook to pull men into the app.

What it is: voice rooms, plus PK, plus gifts

On the store page Xeya is listed as "Xeya – Group Voice, Share Life." The features it describes are three: chatting in voice rooms, "PK challenges" (competing on stage for audience votes and virtual gifts), and real-time notifications. In-app purchases run from $0.49 to $99.99, with a content rating of 17+.

The money model is the category standard: users buy coins to tip hosts, and rooms' owners send gifts, plus spending on PK, noble status, rides, and avatar frames. The "Recharge" button on its website lets users top up on the web, bypassing Google's 30% cut.

Numbers (Google Play installs, third-party estimates): Jun 12 73k, Jul 20 103k, Sep 18 164k, Nov 5 238k. Normally it adds 1,000–1,500 a day; in the last 7 days, +13k.

It charts in only three countries, and all in the "Entertainment" category rather than "Social" (Google Play charts, 10-29 to 11-06): Saudi Entertainment Top Free #37–51, Saudi Entertainment Top Grossing #136–157; Turkey Entertainment Top Grossing #124–160, still climbing; UAE Entertainment Top Free #128–184.

Dig deeper: the top-up page is YoHo's

The developer is XeyaTeam, and the footer of xeyaapp.com reads "© 2026 Aura Peak Limited." This Hong Kong company was only registered in Apr 21, 2026 years ago, with an address in a Sheung Wan office tower, the typical registered-agent address. It was registered after the app's first version (v1.0.0 on APKPure, dated Mar 30).

The clue is in the Recharge button. Clicking "Recharge" lands on m.yoho.media, page title "YoHo Online Recharge," asking you to log in with a YoHo ID. YoHo is MICO's voice-room brand from 2018 years ago, with 27.1M installs on Google Play. MICO has since been fully acquired by the HKEX-listed company Chi Zi Cheng Technology (赤子城科技).

Compare the websites: xeyaapp.com and Xena Lite's site xenalite.me run on the same template, with the same image paths and the same language directories for Arabic, Indonesian, Thai, and Chinese, and both recharge to m.yoho.media. The package names follow the same pattern: Xena is com.xparty.androidapp, Xena Lite is com.xenalite.androidapp, and Xeya is com.xeya.androidapp. Xena is titled "Group Voice Party" and Xeya "Group Voice, Share Life." Both Xena versions' terms of service name the operator as MICO WORLD LIMITED.

Conclusion: Xeya can essentially be identified as a new package in the Chi Zi Cheng / MICO voice-room lineup, with a newly registered Hong Kong company as the legal entity (inference, high confidence; the equity link between Aura Peak and MICO wasn't found). Only 3 versions in half a year; content and mechanics are served from the backend, and the app is a shell. Switching entities likely serves to separate account and policy risk on Google Play from the older package (inference).

Chi Zi Cheng's social business is projected to bring in $835M–$850M in the first three quarters of 2026, up 35%–38%. Xeya is a small part of that machine.

Where users come from: three TikTok waves

The install curve lines up with the TikTok activity.

July: pay Gulf mega-influencers. Starting Jul 8, a batch of Saudi and Gulf influencers with millions of followers posted videos marked "محتوى إعلاني" (ad content) or #ad: @hamodyzaher2003 (2.64M followers) wrote "meet new friends from Gulf countries via #xeya" with 110k views; @miuoshah (1.18M followers) posted "حملو التطبيق" (download this app) on Jul 21 with 2.57M views; @shosho_ip has only 90k followers, yet that post got 1.36M views. Estimated installs on Jul 9 jumped by +6,539, and on Jul 13 by +5,453, the two highest days before October.

August: run a hashtag. The official account @xeya_global launched #XeyaGulf. @1.huda9 (130k followers) posted on Aug 10 with 1.96M views; @mohammdalmokbl3 (1.29M followers) followed on Aug 15. Instagram also has reels using the same wording, and an @Xeya_Türkiye account has appeared, suggesting Turkey is being pushed too.

Late July to now: girl-persona alt accounts. These are the accounts from the opening section, running the longest and cheapest. Most posts get a few hundred views, with an occasional hit in the hundreds of thousands.

The official account itself barely does anything: @xeya_global has 173 followers and 4 videos. Where the 73k installs before Jun 12 came from is unclear; it could be paid acquisition, or it could be pushed over from the older app (unverified).

One more small move: it's filed under "Entertainment" rather than "Social." Saudi and Turkish Entertainment charts have low bars, so the free chart can reach #37, which gives it more store exposure. Xena's line uses the same placement.

It doesn't actually earn much

On the Saudi Entertainment Top Grossing chart, competitors with similar install counts to Xeya rank much higher (Google Play, 11-06):

ProductInstallsSaudi Entertainment Top Grossing
Karak chat220k#7
Beela Chat380k#19
Yo2210k#24
Dika230k#30
Xeya238k#143

So "few installs, real payments" only holds half the time: it does take payments, but it sits near the bottom of its size class. Turkey's grossing rank is climbing (160 → 124), the only bright spot so far.

Who it's competing with

Voice rooms in the Gulf and Turkey are a red ocean that Chinese overseas teams have been fighting in for nearly a decade (Google Play installs, 11-06):

Discord and X Spaces also have voice group chats, but without gift tipping, PK, or local Arabic operations, they aren't the same thing.

If it were you

Verdict: D. Xeya isn't a product a small team built. A listed company used its existing accounts, payments, gift system, and host supply to launch another package. Even with those foundations, it only reaches #143 on the Saudi Entertainment Top Grossing chart.

Who it's for: teams already running Middle East or Turkish voice rooms with their own backend and host agencies. For you, Xeya's playbook is directly copyable: a new entity and package name to isolate risk, the Entertainment category, and a three-stage run of influencers → hashtag → persona alt accounts.

Not for: Indie devs and small teams without streamer resources. The voice room app itself is not hard to build. The hard part is making sure there are always people talking and sending gifts when someone joins a room. Arabic-speaking hosts, Gulf payments and withdrawals, and content moderation are things competitors have spent years on.

How to do it: Don't build "yet another Gulf voice room." What you can take is the acquisition playbook: on TikTok, paid creators to get traction, then a hashtag, then a steady flow from persona alt accounts. It works for any product that charges for stranger socializing or companionship. Try it in your own category and market.

How to acquire users: Follow their three stages. First, find a few mid-tier creators (accounts around 100K followers; in their case, views were no worse than accounts with a million followers), and watch for install spikes the week of the post. Then start a hashtag challenge. Finally, run a set of persona accounts that post on a fixed schedule every day. That is the cheapest approach and the one that lasts longest.

Deadline: No obvious window. This category won't suddenly open up. The persona-account tactic depends on when TikTok starts cleaning up accounts like these.

What would change this read: ① Xeya enters the top 50 of the Saudi or Turkish Entertainment Top Grossing chart, which would mean new packages monetize far better than they look, so running a matrix of extra packages deserves a second look; ② a new Gulf voice room app with no big-company backing reaches a million installs in six months, which would mean there is still room for a small team in this red ocean.

Where users come from
  • Confirmed TikTok paid promotion by large Gulf creators: July @hamodyzaher2003 (2.64M followers), @miuoshah (1.18M followers, 2.57M views), @garnil_, @ikrll7, @sarha_f6, @fa_7979 (1.01M views), and others posted videos labeled "محتوى إعلاني / #ad". The timing lines up with the install spikes on 07-09 and 07-13.
  • Confirmed #XeyaGulf hashtag challenge (TikTok + Instagram): in August @1.huda9 (1.96M views), @mohammdalmokbl3 (1.29M followers), and others posted @xeya_global #XeyaGulf. On Instagram, yehyaha2026 and others used the same wording. There was also @Xeya_Türkiye.
  • Confirmed Female persona account matrix: at least 10 accounts with garbled usernames (vownbiaei1ato9, rleeumnd39v21j, jaknxbugda1mgv, etc., 7K–47K followers), each posting 2 videos a day with identical captions. Bios say "DMs closed, find me on Xeya."
  • Confirmed Store category choice (ENTERTAINMENT): only charts in the Entertainment category, where it ranks #37–51 in Saudi Free. The Xena family also sits in Entertainment.
  • Inferred Paid acquisition / in-matrix traffic: 06-12K installs existed before 73, source unknown. Meta and Google ad libraries show no tracking.

Why Xeya – Group Voice, Share Life (com.xeya.androidapp) took off

In one line: it wasn't a new product that took off. It is a new front in the MICO voice-room matrix run by Newborn Town (赤子城科技, 9911.HK). It was listed under a newly registered Hong Kong shell company, shares YoHo's accounts and recharge system and Xena Lite's website template, and only targets Gulf (Saudi, UAE) and Turkey. Users came from three TikTok pushes: in July, large Gulf creators posted videos labeled as ads; in August, a #XeyaGulf hashtag challenge; in September, a batch of "female persona" accounts posted daily. Its grossing sits near the tail of Saudi's Entertainment Top Grossing chart (#143), which is not impressive.

1. Basics (data)

  • Developer XeyaTeam, website xeyaapp.com. The website names the operator as Aura Peak Limited (Hong Kong), with the footer "© 2026 Aura Peak Limited." This company was registered 2026-04-21 (BRN 80236029, address at Dongli Commercial Building in Sheung Wan, clearly a company-secretary address). That is later than the app's first version (hkregister.com, ltddir).
  • Launch date: the data card says 2026-07-20, while the database has app.released as 2026-07-12, flagged released_reset. Both dates were reset. On APKPure, v1.0.0 is 2026-03-30, v1.0.1 is 04-18, and v1.0.2.1 is 10-12 (APKPure version page). AppBrain says "On Google Play since March 2026." Only 3 versions in six months suggests content and gameplay are served from the backend, and the client is just a shell.
  • Installs (googleplay database; app_day_ext is AppstoreSpy's estimate): 2026-06-12 73.1K → 07-20 103K → 08-31 about 148K → 09-18 164K → 10-28 219K → 11-05 238K. Normal daily new installs are 1,000–1,500; 7-day +13,094 (our database, as of 11-06). Days with clear spikes: 07-09 +6,539, 07-13 +5,453 (matching July's creator promotion), and 10-04 +9,385.
  • Charted in only 3 stores, all in the ENTERTAINMENT category. It never went to SOCIAL (googleplay database chart_rank, 10-29~11-06):
    • Saudi Free #37–51, Saudi Top Grossing #136–157
    • Turkey Free #139–198, Turkey Top Grossing #124–160 and climbing (currently #11-06 at #124)
    • UAE Free #128–184
  • In-app purchases $0.49–$99.99 per item, Mature 17+. The store rating count is empty (null every day in the database; cause not found).
  • Evidence it earns money: on Saudi's Entertainment Top Grossing chart, Karak chat (220K installs) ranks #7, Beela Chat (380K) ranks #19, and Dika (230K) ranks #30, while Xeya ranks #143. So the claim that it has "few installs but real payers" (as recalled earlier) doesn't hold up well: it does have payers, but its revenue is low for its peer group.

2. Who's behind it: the YoHo / Xena / MICO matrix (key finding)

  • The "Recharge" button on the official site goes straight to m.yoho.media/web/pay.html, titled "YoHo Online Recharge," and asks for a YoHo ID to log in. So Xeya's accounts and recharge are the YoHo stack (read directly from the website HTML).
  • xeyaapp.com and xenalite.me (the Xena Lite website) share the same template: both redirect to /mobile.html, both use /static/img/page1-3.png, both have the /ar /id /th /zh language paths and aboutme/guideline pages, and both recharge buttons point to m.yoho.media. The APK download link on Xena Lite's site is s3.amazonaws.com/xparty-web/....
  • The package names follow a pattern: Xena is com.xparty.androidapp, Xena Lite is com.xenalite.androidapp, and Xeya is com.xeya.androidapp. Xena is titled "Xena - Group Voice Party"; Xeya is titled "Xeya – Group Voice, Share Life."
  • The user terms for Xena and Xena Lite both name MICO WORLD LIMITED as the operator. YoHo's terms also mention Mico World Limited, and the YoHo seller on Samsung's store is "Little Stone Online Beijing Technology Co., Ltd. and Mico World Limited." MICO (the entity behind YoHo) has been wholly acquired by Newborn Town (Xueqiu, East Money). Newborn Town's social business revenue for the first three quarters of 2026 is estimated at $835M–$850M, up 35%–38% year over year (Sina).
  • Conclusion: Xeya is almost certainly a new front in the MICO / Newborn Town system, with a new Hong Kong shell (Aura Peak) as the operating entity. The reason for the new entity is probably to separate it from the older apps on Google Play (developer account and policy risk), but that is a guess. The earlier claim that "Each, Zylea, Laka, and Haya are from the same team" is unverified: Laka in the database (com.hangna.lakalaka, Hangna Network) shows no link to this system.

4. Growth tactics (evidence from TikHub's TikTok search)

  1. July: paid Gulf macro-creators, videos labeled "(محتوى إعلاني)/#ad"
    • @hamodyzaher2003 (2.64M followers) 「تعرّف على أصدقاء جدد من دول الخليج مع #xeya」07-08110k views
    • @garnil_ (1.76M followers) 07-858K views; @ikrll7 (730K followers) 07-09 #Ad, 360K views
    • @shosho_ip (90K followers) 07-91.4M views; @sarha_f 6 (240K followers) 07-18 #ad, 150K views
    • @miuoshah (1.18M followers) 07-21「حملو التطبيق (محتوى اعلاني)」, 2.57M views; @fa_7979 (88K followers) 07-221M views
    • The timing lines up with the two spikes AppstoreSpy recorded: +07-09 and +6.5K, and +07-13 and +5.5K.
  2. August: #XeyaGulf hashtag plus @xeya_global: @1.huda9 (130K followers) 08-102M views; @mohammdalmokbl3 (1.29M followers) 08-15; @ashq_369 has 350K views. There's also one tagging @Xeya_Türkiye, which suggests Turkey is being pushed too. The same #XeyaGulf #GulfCommunity pitch shows up on Instagram, for example in yehyaha2026's reel.
  3. September onward: "female persona" sock-puppet matrix: at least 10 accounts with gibberish usernames, such as vownbiaei1ato9, rleeumnd39v21j, jaknxbugda1mgv, fdniwflnbifn3r, salamabint7, diflhcwm2kt5yy, owkssghfo3mva0, pgrmlwfw5fnpyb, ncaegugjhri3uh, and okivlruvdoft4p, each with 7 thousand to 47K followers. They post 2 times a day, and the captions are identical word for word: "#اكسبلور #سوالف #xeya #سوالف#مالي_خلق_احط_هاشتاقا". The bios read "لا أرد على الخاص هنا 🚫 تعال دور علي في Xeya 👇 خلينا نسولف" (I don't reply to DMs here, come find me on Xeya 👇 let's chat). The top single post reached 256K views (rleeumnd39v21j, 10-26); normally it's a few hundred to a few thousand. The hook is a "stranger girl" who pulls male users into voice rooms, an old playbook in the voice-chat industry.
  4. The official accounts barely do anything: @xeya_global has only 173 followers and 4 videos.
  5. Not in any ad library: the Meta, Google, and TikTok ad libraries (TikTok only covers Europe) show no ads for this product. That doesn't prove it isn't advertising, since it isn't on our tracking list. It already had 06-12 thousand installs before 73K more arrived; where that early volume came from is unclear. It could be paid acquisition, or traffic redirected from YoHo/Xena (unverified).
  6. Listed under ENTERTAINMENT, not SOCIAL: the Xena family is also filed there. Entertainment charts have lower entry thresholds in Saudi Arabia and Turkey, so the free chart ranks it #37–#51, which makes it visible in the store.

5. Where the money comes from

It's standard voice-room monetization: users buy coins to send gifts to hosts and room owners, plus spending on PK battles, noble tiers, vehicles, and avatar frames. Big spenders top up via the YoHo website at H5, bypassing Google's 30% cut. The Turkey Top Grossing rank is climbing (160→124), which suggests the Turkey push is starting to pay off.

6. How many people have seen it

  • No media, X, or Product Hunt coverage has ever mentioned it (x-radar finds nothing relevant). Only auto-generated pages from Softonic, APKPure, AppBrain, and Similarweb exist.
  • The parent company, Chizi Cheng, is listed and its social revenue is public and closely watched. But the Xeya brand itself hasn't drawn any attention yet.
  • Copycats: there's no sign anyone is "copying it"; it's copying a proven model itself. Other new brands from the same period, like Yari, Karak, and Hayat Chat, are doing the same thing.

7. Verdict

  • Why it's growing: big-company back-end infrastructure (YoHo's accounts, payments, gift system) plus a repackaged new app, driven in the Gulf and Turkey by a three-step TikTok playbook of "paid creator promotion → hashtag challenge → sock-puppet matrix," pulling roughly 1–1.5K installs a day. It also picks the less competitive entertainment category, so the free-chart ranking adds some organic volume.
  • Differentiation: almost none. The features (voice rooms, PK, gifts, mini-games, events) are identical to YoHo and Xena. The difference is at the distribution level: a new entity, a new package name, ads only in the Gulf and Turkey, and placement in entertainment. This isn't product differentiation; it's the matrix tactic of running one more app to capture one more slice of traffic.
  • What it means for us: the useful lesson is its distribution method. There's no product to copy, and its revenue sits near the bottom of its category. A small team can't replicate YoHo's back-end infrastructure or host supply.

8. Still unclear

  • Whether Aura Peak has an equity link to Mico/Chizi Cheng (for now the evidence is indirect: a shared top-up system and website template).
  • Where the 06-12 thousand installs before 73K came from, and whether it advertised on Meta or Snapchat.
  • Why the rating count on Play is blank.
  • Actual revenue: the Top Grossing rank only shows it's in the tail of the Saudi and Turkish entertainment categories.
