Rename it and catch 10,000 people: "Fati Score" is a pirate-streaming keyword grab, not a product

What it is An Arabic football streaming shell app, originally called Yassin TV 2026. It later changed its title to "Fati Score," the name of a pirate streaming app that was blowing up in the Middle East, and it makes money from ads.

Why it took off On iOS, Fati Score got attention because it let people watch every channel for free. In October it climbed to #1 on sports charts in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. Android users searched for the name on Play, and when the original got pulled, this app renamed itself to catch that traffic. Its interest is borrowed, and it faded once the original was gone.

DHow you could approach it Don't copy the pirate shell. What's worth learning is how to read the charts: watch the Middle East regional App Store sports charts for a name that suddenly jumps to #1, then use a trademarked, scores-only, Arabic-language compliant app to catch the traffic during the few days those searches are hot.

D grade: The traffic came from a one-off pirate keyword, lasted about three days, reached a bit over 10,000 installs, and only earned ad revenue. Copying it requires a ready-made, store-approved streaming shell and a stack of borrowed company accounts, and you'd be breaking copyright and store policy. The compliant route means competing with score apps that have tens of millions of installs. Few people know about it yet

The app on Google Play called "Fati Score" was listed in August as "Yassin TV 2026," a typical Arabic-language sports streaming shell that few people installed for a month. In late October, an iOS app with the same name, a "score app" that secretly contained TV channels and let people watch matches for free, climbed to #1 on the free sports charts in Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Yemen. The owner of this package changed the title to "Fati Score" and gained 3,000+ installs in three days. After the hype faded, it went back to a few dozen a day. It teaches a way of reading the charts, but copying it isn't worth it.

A bad review that says "ruined after the update"

Oct 28, a user on the Saudi App Store gave Fati Score 1 stars: "Ruined after the update... Before the update this was the best app, with every channel's TV in it." A week earlier, another Saudi user gave 5 stars: "I watch on it, the picture quality is great and it doesn't lag. Keep going, just don't update and break the app." Back in Sep 26, someone wrote: "The channel list is hidden for me."

These three reviews tell the whole story. Fati Score's iOS site says "scores, matches, lineups, no sign-up needed," so the reviewer sees a scores app. The channel list sits behind a backend switch that only turns on in certain regions at certain times. That's the old trick these pirate-streaming apps use to get past Apple review across the Middle East. From 10-28 to 11-02 it ranked #1–2 in Sports Top Free in Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Yemen, and 10-28 even reached #34 on the Saudi overall Top Free chart (App Store chart). 11-06 can no longer be found on the Saudi App Store.

Once word spread that it "lets you watch every channel for free," Android users searched for the name on Google Play.

Who ends up with you when you search "Fati Score" on Play

The first one to show up was the "official" version: Fati Score from Kaverix Ltd, published in October 5. Its description matched the iOS version word for word. From 10-31 to 11-01 it brought in 26k installs a day, reaching 56k total across 12 countries' charts. Around November 3 it disappeared from Play, and the page now reads 404.

The package covered in this article (com.yassin.tv2026, developer NEURALKIND LTD) is a different thing. Its store title is "Fati Score," but the description still contains the line "Yassin TV 2026 was developed to..." and ends with a block of keywords: Yassin TV, ياسين تي في, Kora live, Ostora, Drama live, بث مباشر (live streaming). These are all names of pirated Arabic sports streaming apps and sites (Google Play page, 11-06). Under the same developer account there is a sister package that was never renamed, still titled "Yassin TV 2026," with an identical description, keywords and disclaimer. So it was always a Yassin TV reskin, and only the title was changed later. Outsiders can't see when that happened, but by October 29 it was already called Fati Score.

Its install curve (Google Play install counts, plus third-party estimates for the early period):

TimelineTotal installsAverage daily new installs
8-28 launch to 9-20About 5,700250–400
9-21 to 10-28About 7,7007–137
10-29 to 10-3111,095About 1,100 (10-31 +3,398 in a single day)
11-0211,703+608
11-0612,040+92

A month of flat numbers, then a sudden jump, falling right in the days when the iOS version hit #1 and the Kaverix version added 26k in a single day. What's more telling is what came after: once the original 11-03 was pulled, this was one of the few packages still carrying the name, yet its numbers didn't grow. It added only +245 over 11-05, so fewer people are searching for the term. It ranked #59 on the 11-06 Saudi free sports chart, with no ratings and not a single review.

Behind it is a group, with a stack of front accounts

This package is not a one-person side project. Pulling the advertising declaration files (app-ads.txt) from several "Fati Score" and "Yassin TV" packages shows that three developers who look unrelated all list the same AdMob account:

PackageCurrent titleDeveloperLaunchedInstalls (11-06)
com.yassin.tv2026Fati ScoreNEURALKIND LTD8-2812,040, +4,343 over 7 days
com.yassin.pro.tv2026Fati ScoreAMY AGHOMI LIMITED9-2618,658, +10,784 over 7 days
com.yassin.stream2026Stream all channelsZOOMIE CO. LTD8-2912,705

The package names all start with com.yassin.*, the developer websites are all on blogspot, and the privacy policies are all quickly built Google Sites pages. The partner version under AMY AGHOMI was also renamed Fati Score: +8,612 in a single day for 11-01, with a best Saudi sports ranking of #22, doing better than this package.

The developer names are also telling. NEURALKIND LTD was a UK company registered in January 2026 in Rochdale. Its core business was selling printable colouring books on Etsy, and its company status is now "proposal to strike off" (UK Companies House). Its Play developer description still says "manage inventory, grow your business," yet the apps under its name are football streaming, Burmese football streaming (Burma TV live 2026) and a Roblox script injector. AMY AGHOMI shares its name with a women's clothing brand. My inference: these are real small companies, borrowed or bought, used as front accounts. Since 2023, Google has required new individual developer accounts to run a closed test with 12 people for 14 days, but company accounts don't have to, so listing is fast and a banned account can be replaced. I have not verified whether the accounts were bought, rented or set up through a partnership.

The money model is straightforward: users don't pay, and opening the app shows ads from three networks: AdMob, Meta Audience Network and Vungle. Ad revenue from a bit over 10,000 installs is probably in the hundreds of dollars (my estimate, no public figure). This group relies on the combined volume of a whole set of packages.

Is anyone promoting it?

I found nothing. Searching TikTok for "fati score" or "فاتي سكور" turns up almost entirely highlight clips of the player Ansu Fati, with no videos from these packages themselves. Nobody on X has mentioned it in the past two months. Users probably find it through a WhatsApp group or a friend saying "go download Fati Score, it has every channel," and then search the store. Its only acquisition channel is store search: whoever has this name in their title catches the traffic.

The name "Fati Score" is itself a pirate streaming brand that has been repeatedly reskinned under new developer accounts. This package is just the Nth one to use it.

If it were you

D. This wave of traffic came from a single pirate keyword and was gone within three days. To copy it, you'd need a store-approved streaming shell on hand and a stack of company accounts, and you'd be tangling with copyright and Google's misleading-metadata policy, all to get around 10,000 installs and a few hundred dollars in ad revenue. The real lesson is how to read the charts, not this package.

  • Who it suits: Small teams already building Middle East or North Africa sports apps who have a compliant score app and want more of the "where to watch" search traffic.
  • Who it doesn't suit: Anyone building a long-term product who wants ratings and retention; anyone unwilling to touch copyright; anyone without a ready-made, store-approved package. By the time you launch from scratch, the keyword will have cooled.
  • How to do it: Skip piracy and follow the Yacine TV LLC route: scores only, an Arabic interface, fixture reminders, lineup and goal alerts, and register a trademark first as a shield. The signal this package can teach you is this: every day, watch the free sports charts in the App Store for Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Yemen and Jordan. When an unfamiliar name suddenly jumps to #1, within a day or two it becomes a search term on Google Play. The compliant approach is to have your score app show up in those searches during those days (buy ads on that term in the store and state clearly in your listing what you do), not to rename your title to someone else's.
  • How to acquire users: Mainly store search, plus WhatsApp football fan groups and Arabic match-highlight accounts on TikTok. Time it around big events: the 2026/27 Saudi league season, Champions League knockout rounds, and the Africa Cup of Nations.
  • When to get in before: If you really want to build a compliant score app, launch before the 2027 early-year Champions League knockouts and the Ramadan night-viewing peak. This package's own window has already passed.
  • What would show you misread it: (1) If this package or the AMY AGHOMI partner version keeps growing by hundreds to thousands a day after mid-November, that means the "Fati Score" term hasn't cooled and the demand is sustained. (2) If this group keeps getting packages pulled, then relisted under new company names, and each time they still reach over 10,000 installs, the rename-and-capture business is more stable and more profitable than it looks. (3) Conversely, if a compliant score app like Yacine TV LLC also gets pulled, that would mean even the compliant route is blocked in Middle East sports.

Why Fati Score (com.yassin.tv2026, NEURALKIND LTD) took off

Bottom line: this is not an app that grew on its own product. It was originally called "Yassin TV 2026" (a re-skinned live-streaming shell riding the North African pirate sports brands Yacine/Yassin TV), and its growth was modest. At the end of October, an iOS "scores app" called "Fati Score" hit #1 on the free Sports charts in Saudi Arabia, Algeria and Yemen because it hid a TV channel list and offered free viewing. The operator then renamed its own Yassin TV package to "Fati Score" and caught people searching "Fati Score" on Google Play. The real products (the iOS version and the Play version from Kaverix Ltd) 11-03 were pulled one after another, while this package and another sock-puppet package from the same group kept riding the term. Its volume is small (about 12k cumulative), and it earns through AdMob / Meta / Vungle ads.

1. Basic data (googleplay library, 2026-10-29 to 11-06)

  • Package com.yassin.tv2026, developer NEURALKIND LTD, first listed on the store 2026-08-28, Sports category, contains ads, no in-app purchases; version 3.0.0 (9-27 updates) → 4.0.0 (11-01 updates). No ratings.
  • Cumulative installs 12,040, +4,343 over the last 7 days. The biggest single-day jump was 10-30→10-31 at +3,398; since then 11-02 +608, 11-05 +245, 11-06 +92, and it's tapering off.
  • Only on the Saudi Sports free chart (11-06 #59; 10-29 once reached #64, also charting in the UAE at #179 and Spain at #111).
  • Trajectory since launch (AppstoreSpy estimates, app_day_ext): 9-12 about 2,353 → 9-20 about 5,657 (this stretch averaged 250–400 per day) → 9-21 to 10-28 basically flatlined (averaging 7–137 per day, only 7,697 cumulative) → 10-29 to 10-31 averaging about 1,133 per day → 11-04 11,948. After a month of stagnation it suddenly jumped, right in the days when the "Fati Score" name blew up in the Middle East.
  • Current store page state (read via Jina from the Play page, 11-06): title "Fati Score", 10K+ downloads; the description body still says "تم تطوير Yassin TV 2026" (Yassin TV 2026 was developed to…), and a string of keywords is stuffed at the end: Yassin TV, ياسين تي في, بث مباشر (live streaming), Kora live, Ostora, Drama live, all names of Arabic-region pirate sports apps and sites.

2. Why it took off

2.1 The "Fati Score" name first blew up on iOS, and the reason it blew up was that it let people secretly watch live streams

  • On iOS, Fati Score (id6810414411) presents itself as a scores app, and its website fatiscore.com says "live scores, events, lineups… no account." But the Saudi reviews in the appstore library describe something else:
    • 10-21 (5 stars): "I watch on it, the picture quality is great and it doesn't lag, please keep going, just don't update and break the app"
    • 9-26 (5 stars): "The channel list is hidden for me"
    • 10-28 (1 stars): "It's ruined after the update… before the update it was the best program, it had TV from all the channels" In other words, it is a pirate-streaming shell disguised as a scores app, with a TV channel list hidden behind remote switches, a common trick for getting past Apple review in the Middle East.
  • Its ranks in the appstore library (app_day): 10-28 to 11-02 on the Saudi Sports free chart at #1–2 (10-28 Saudi overall free chart #34), Algeria #1–2, Yemen #1–2, Jordan #2–5, UAE #3–6, Kuwait #2–13. After 11-02 the library has no new observations for it, the US iTunes lookup can't find it, and it has probably been pulled (exact removal date not verified).
  • There are earlier same-name apps on iOS: Fati Score Live (Fouzia Kasbaoui, listed 2026-04-27, 161 ratings in Saudi Arabia) and Fati Scores (Loubna RAFIK, 2026-06-22, peaked at #8 on the Saudi Sports free chart). The latter's 11-02 reviews have one line: "كذابين تقليد" (liars, knockoffs). "Fati Score" itself is a pirate brand that has been repeatedly re-skinned under new developer accounts.
  • The "genuine" Fati Score on Google Play (com.fatiscore.fati_score_flutter, Kaverix Ltd, listed 10-05, description word-for-word identical to the iOS version): at 10-29 it was #13 on the Saudi Sports free chart and #27 in Spain, charting in 12 storefronts; 10-31→11-01 it added +26,326 installs in one day, 55,573 cumulative; after 11-03 the library has no further observations, AppBrain shows "removed from Google Play," and the Play page 404.

2.2 It is not the real product, it is a rename that siphons off traffic

  • Evidence of the rename: under the same developer account there is another com.yassin.tv.stream2026, whose title is still "Yassin TV 2026 ياسين"; its description, keywords, disclaimer and those of com.yassin.tv2026 are word-for-word identical (only the brand name in the title differs). The description of com.yassin.tv2026 also still reads "Yassin TV 2026." So it was originally a Yassin TV re-skin package, and later the title was changed to "Fati Score." The exact date of the rename is unverified, but by 10-29, when we started collecting data, it was already called Fati Score.
  • The timing of the surge lines up: its jump (10-29~10-31, averaging about 1,133 per day) falls in the same window as iOS Fati Score climbing to #1 on the Saudi Sports chart (from 10-30) and Kaverix's version gaining +26k in a day (10-31/11-01). Installs fell back after 11-02, and the real products were pulled around 11-03 — yet after the removal it didn't pick up more volume (only +245 over 11-05), which suggests search interest itself was fading.
  • Searching "Fati Score" on Play lands on it: after the rename the title is exactly this term, and in the Saudi store it is charting on the Sports chart alongside another sock-puppet. Store-search siphoning is the only acquisition channel found; TikTok (TikHub searches for "fati score" and "فاتي سكور") mostly returns goal clips of player Ansu Fati, and no videos promoting these packages themselves were found; X (x-radar, last 60 days) has zero mentions.

2.3 Behind it is one group spreading packages across multiple "company" accounts

Three developers who look unrelated have app-ads.txt pointing to the same AdMob publisher account pub-5434360095168665:

Bundle IDTitleDeveloperLaunchedInstalls (11-06)7 daysWhere app-ads.txt lives

  • All three packages are named com.yassin.*, their developer sites are all on blogspot, and their privacy policies are all sites.google.com/view/<random string>. AMY AGHOMI's package uses the same description template as this one, +8,612 in one day for 11-01, with a best Saudi Sports chart rank of #22, doing better than this package.
  • Kaverix Ltd (genuine Fati Score + com.yassintv.live2026 "Drama live" → "syria live سوريا لايف") uses a different AdMob ID (pub-1977276800259725), but its package names also carry the yassintv prefix and its site is also on blogspot, which points to another company in the same circle, or the same outsourcing setup. Unverified.
  • The developer accounts look like borrowed or bought real-company shells:
    • NEURALKIND LTD: a UK company, number 16965569,2026-01-15, registered in Rochdale, sole director Christopher Robert Hampson, business activity "online retail." Its actual business is selling printable colouring books and digital prints on Etsy (neuralkind.co.uk, an Etsy shop, TikTok @neuralkindltd). The company status is already "Active proposal to strike off." The Play developer page's description still reads "Track stock, manage products, and grow your business" (inventory-management app copy), yet the account hosts Fati Score, YSN TV Football Live, Burma TV live 2026 (Burmese football live streaming, 1K+), Yassin TV 2026, and Delta executor Pro (a Roblox script injector, 10K+, 2.0 stars).
    • AMY AGHOMI LIMITED: the same name belongs to a women's clothing brand in Lagos / London.
    • Organization accounts of this kind, real small companies with a D-U-N-S number, can get around the requirement Google has imposed since 2023 on new personal accounts to run a 12-person closed test for 14 days. Listing is fast, and if one gets banned you just swap in another. Whether the accounts were bought, rented or obtained through cooperation is unverified.
  • The recall card says "the old package com.yacine.tv.stream2026 was delisted in October and relaunched under a new package name, which is the direct reason for this round's surge." On Play, that package is indeed 404 now, but I found no evidence it belongs to NEURALKIND. The app NEURALKIND still has live on Play is com.yassin.tv.stream2026 (10K+). The more direct cause of this round's surge is the rename riding on Fati Score, not the delisting of the old package.

2.4 Why users come and why they stay

  • Coming: fans in Saudi / the Gulf hear "Fati Score shows all channels for free" on TikTok, in WhatsApp groups and by word of mouth (the iOS reviews confirm this), then search for the name on Play.
  • Staying: there are no ratings or reviews, so no retention data is visible. Judging from the install increments, it was a one-wave spike: once search interest faded, it added only +92 over 11-06.
  • Paying: users don't pay. Opening the app serves ads from AdMob / Meta Audience Network / Vungle (all three are DIRECT in app-ads.txt).

4. Growth tactics

  1. Renaming to ride trending search terms (confirmed): the Yassin TV reskin was retitled to "Fati Score" while that name was hot.
  2. Keyword stuffing (confirmed): the description tail is packed with pirate brand names like Yassin TV, Kora live, Ostora and Drama live to catch long-tail search.
  3. Multi-account matrix (confirmed): at least 3 developer accounts under different company names, one AdMob ID, and a com.yassin.* package series. When one gets banned, the others keep running. The same account also ships Burmese (Burma TV) and Roblox injector apps, suggesting a studio that makes whatever shell the trending keyword needs.
  4. Borrowed organization developer accounts (inferred, unverified): the names belong to a small UK Etsy print shop and a Nigerian clothing brand, with nothing to do with football streaming.
  5. Paid acquisition, creator promotion: no evidence found (no TikTok promotion for this bundle, zero X mentions; the ad library only tracks listed products, so not finding ads doesn't mean there were none).

5. Differentiation

No product differentiation. It's nearly the same package as its sibling AMY AGHOMI build, and the only difference from the real Fati Score is that it's still listed. What actually drove it is speed at the distribution layer: keep a stock of approved reskin packages and accounts, and retitle to whichever pirate brand name heats up. That's why this wave took off, but the ceiling is low: one spike, around ten thousand installs, and it can be pulled at any time.

6. Visibility and copycats

  • Few people know about it yet: no public revenue, no media or X discussion (x-radar 0 posts), and no TikTok videos of its own.
  • Copycats: the "Fati Score" name appears on at least 3 Play packages (Kaverix, AMY AGHOMI, NEURALKIND) and at least 3 on iOS (id6810414411, Fati Score Live, Fati Scores). It is itself a copycat.

7. What others can learn

  • Watch the small regional iOS charts (Saudi, Algeria, Yemen Sports) for disguised apps that suddenly jump to #1. Their names will become search terms on Play within a day or two, and whoever renames first on Play captures the traffic when a same-named slot opens. Our appstore library can spot this signal one or two days early.
  • The "rename + keyword stuffing + multiple accounts on one AdMob ID" playbook is a traffic-arbitrage model that anyone can copy, but it runs into copyright and Google's misleading-metadata policy, so its lifespan is measured in days or weeks. The compliant route is what Yacine TV LLC did: get the trademark first, stick to scores, and capture the same search intent.

8. Still unclear

  • The exact date of the rename, and whether the app actually shows live streams today (not verified by installing; the description and keywords point to live streaming).
  • Whether the NEURALKIND / AMY AGHOMI accounts were bought, rented or partnered, and whether Kaverix is the same group.
  • The exact iOS delisting date and reason for Fati Score, and how much ad revenue it made.
  • The recall card claim that "the old package com.yacine.tv.stream2026 was relisted after delisting" could not be confirmed.
