# Pay ₱2,000, get ₱60 a day for liking posts: how the Philippine "membership e-commerce" WOWARE caught a shut-down scheme

**What it is** A Philippine "membership e-commerce" app: pay a membership fee of about ₱2,000 for coupons of equal value, earn about ₱60 a day for liking and sharing posts, and get three-level referral commissions for recruiting.

**Why it took off** Payback in about 5 weeks plus three-level referral commissions get every member posting invite codes in Facebook groups. In early October, a similar model called Novaluxia was frozen by the SEC, and its promoters moved their downlines over. WOWARE's press releases, free tier, and "we're building physical malls" gave them somewhere that looked like it wouldn't collapse.

**E** **How you could approach it** Don't copy the structure of membership fee plus daily earnings plus multi-level commissions. What you can take is the growth playbook: first-level refer-a-friend rewards, Facebook group and local KOL invite-code virality, and catching churned users during a rival's collapse by being "transparent and physical." Apply that to a business with real product margins.

E grade: the money comes from fees paid by later members, not from products. The Philippine SEC classified the same model as unregistered securities and froze its assets a month ago. Following it means either opening a fund or becoming a downline, with regulatory and collapse risk both in plain view. Circulating in small circles

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations). Google's detail page only refreshes install counts every other day, so a flat day doesn't mean nobody installed.

WOWARE is listed on Google Play as a shopping app. It sits around #40 on the Philippines Top Free shopping chart, with just over 7,000 installs. Its real business isn't in the store: members pay about ₱2,000 to join, earn a few minutes of like-and-share tasks each day, and get three levels of referral commissions for bringing in others. Its growth comes from invite codes shared in Facebook groups, plus some timing luck: the same playbook, Novaluxia, was shut down by the Philippines SEC in early October, and a batch of promoters holding downlines were looking for their next home. The growth is real, but this isn't a business you can copy.

### Five weeks on one TikTok account

A TikTok account called @novaluxias carries the name of the platform it used to promote. On Oct 4 it posted: "Grabe 5 days na hanggang ngayon wala pa din?" (It's been 5 days and still no payout?), 13k views. On Oct 7: "Wala na talaga si novaluxia 🥺" (Novaluxia is really gone), 15k views. Two days later, on Oct 9: "Parehas nga lang daw ba si woware at novaluxia?" (Are WOWARE and Novaluxia really the same?). By Oct 14 the tone had flipped to "Sobrang solid talaga ng woware 🥰" (WOWARE is really solid). On Nov 1 it showed "My WOWARE Black Gold membership card arrived," and on Nov 4: "Another successful withdrawal." (TikTok, view counts 11-06)

What happened in between: the Philippines SEC issued a cease-and-desist order against Novaluxia on Sep 29, saying it was selling unregistered securities and investment schemes; assets were frozen in Oct 2. Novaluxia also issued a statement in Oct 1 claiming the SEC had "agreed to withdraw the advisory," but the SEC denied this directly on its official Facebook page (SEC Philippines, 10-02).

One platform collapsed, and the people running it didn't leave. They changed the sign and kept going. That's WOWARE's growth curve over the past month.

### What it actually is

The official line is "membership-based cross-border e-commerce, like Sam's Club." Articles from June in the Manila Times and Yahoo Finance repeat this (both paid press-release channels). The posts promoters write themselves tell a different story:

| Stage | What the posts say |
|---|---|
| Joining | PT1 about ₱2,000 (some posts say ₱1,500, "lifetime, transferable"), PT2 about ₱5,900; equivalent-value coupons plus discounts |
| Daily tasks | "Promote & Earn": likes, shares, comments, about 5 minutes a day; "basic tasking ₱60–65 a day," ₱1,500–6,700 a month |
| Recruiting | 10% direct, 3% second level, 1% third level; ₱200–590 per person recruited; ranks and leaderboards upward, with prizes of phones, motorcycles, and cars |
| "E-commerce" | You buy goods on the platform, WOWARE sells them for you, and you collect commission |
| Withdrawals | Every Monday and Thursday 9:00–18:00 |
| Free tier | PT0 can do tasks without paying |

Sources: Facebook group recruitment posts, the video post "7 WAYS TO EARN IN WOWARE," and IG posts, 2026-09 through October.

The math: ₱2,000 divided by ₱60 a day is about 33 days to break even. The "5–6 week payback" in promo posts comes from this. Users aren't coming **to buy things, they're coming to earn money** . The membership fee is the entry ticket, and the returns come from daily tasks and the people recruited below. The money that pays those tasks and commissions can only come from fees paid by later joiners.

It knows what people are saying. On Sep 14 it issued an "Official Statement" saying "We are not an investment platform, we don't force top-ups, and you can do tasks for free with PT0," comparing itself to S&R, a Philippine warehouse club. YouTube already has "Is WOWARE a Ponzi?" reviews, and a Facebook post titled "WOWARE scam warning: a red-flag checklist" leads with "tiered membership fees."

### Where users come from

The Play Store barely matters. Installs went from 10-29's 5,812 to 11-06's 7,243, +1,431 in a week (Google Play, AppstoreSpy estimate). It's charted in only one Philippines store, at #39–45 on the Top Free shopping chart. That category has a low bar: a hundred or two hundred installs a day keeps you there. In early September promoters were already sharing the web version link app.woware.global, and the Play package didn't go live until Sep 23. So the real member count is likely well above the Play install count (inference, no public figures).

People arrive through these channels:

- **Facebook group sweeps.** In groups like "ONLINE LEGIT INVESTMENT | WOWARE E COMMERCE PLATFORM" and "Woware Global E-commerce Community Unofficial," individual accounts keep posting app.woware.global/register?inviteCode=…, with pitches like "Sign up and get ₱150," "Free T-shirt," "I got scammed several times before I found WOWARE," and "My withdrawal arrived." Three-level commissions turn every member into a salesperson, and acquisition costs are paid out of new members' fees.

- **Local "professor" YouTubers.** "Professor's Channel" (67.7k subscribers) has posted explainers, signup tutorials, and Zoom info sessions since Sep 5, with its own invite code in the description. Even videos questioning it give it exposure.

- **Paid press as credibility.** Articles on Manila Times, Yahoo Finance, and AccessNewswire, plus a self-built news site, along with an SEC company registration number. Promoters cite "featured in Manila Times" and "SEC registered" as trust signals. But company registration doesn't mean you can raise funds, and the SEC made exactly this point in the Novaluxia case.

- **Taking over Novaluxia's base.** The timing lines up: Novaluxia's assets were frozen in early October, and on Oct 12 WOWARE posted an announcement with a paragraph saying "Recently an e-commerce brand fell into serious fund disputes because it had no real business," while also announcing a physical mall in Manila (budget $500k to $1M, filmed as vlogs, with out-of-town members' trips reimbursed at ₱1,000). Under posts about Novaluxia's cease-and-desist, someone commented "Try nyo po WOWARE" (Try WOWARE, please).

### Why it was WOWARE that caught them

Novaluxia isn't the only platform running this play, and WOWARE itself said in June that "many platforms imitating our brand and model have appeared." What sets it apart is a layer of **trust packaging** : membership fees that come with "equivalent-value coupons," framed like a Costco membership; a free tier; frequent press releases and self-declared anti-fraud messaging; and promises to build physical stores. In the days after Novaluxia fell, the promoters holding downlines needed a place that "looks like it won't collapse," and this packaging sold it to them.

All these differences are in the packaging, not the product. Compared with Shopee, Lazada, or S&R, it has no product or price advantage.

### What's still unclear

- How many real members there are, and how many have paid, is not visible from outside.

- How long withdrawals can keep going. Withdrawal screenshots are now the core of its promo material. If those start turning into "5 days and still no payout," it will look just like Novaluxia's Oct 4 post.

- Whether the SEC will act against it: as of 11-06, no warning targeting WOWARE has turned up in searches.

- Who is behind it: press contacts are listed as "Wilson" and "Ms. An," the email is wowarehk@gmail.com, and it claims to have been founded in Australia 2024 years ago. None of this can be verified.

- Whether the Manila mall will actually be built.

### If it were you

**E. Don't follow.** This business earns its money from later members' fees, not from products. The Philippines SEC has already classified the same model as unregistered securities, and that precedent was set just a month ago. Following it means either launching your own scheme or joining someone else's as a downline, and both paths end the way Novaluxia's TikTok account did in October.

**Who it fits:** Nobody should copy it. The only thing worth watching is teams building legitimate membership e-commerce, rebates, or local services, to see how it recruits cheaply in the Philippines.

**Who it doesn't fit:** Anyone trying to replicate "membership fee + daily task earnings + multi-level commissions," or anyone planning to relaunch under a new name in another Southeast Asian country. This isn't a window. It's a trap.

**What you can take:**

- Pay cash rewards for referrals, and grow through Facebook groups and local KOL invite codes. Facebook penetration in the Philippines is very high, and demand for "online raket / sideline" (online side income) is strong, so this channel costs almost nothing. Reward only one level, with rewards funded by real product margins rather than fees.

- Lower the psychological barrier to paid membership by "giving equivalent-value coupons when you pay," but only if the coupons really buy something with a price advantage.

- When a competitor blows up, catch its churned users with "transparent, visible physical presence." This works just as well for legitimate businesses.

**What would prove me wrong:** ① WOWARE gets through 2027 more years, withdrawals keep arriving on time, no SEC warning arrives, and the Manila mall really opens and sells goods; ② it publishes audited product sales revenue, and that revenue is enough to pay the task earnings and commissions. Both would have to happen for it to count as an e-commerce business with real operations that uses commissions for acquisition, rather than a scheme.

Where users come from

- **Verified** **FB group / personal account invite codes (3-level referral kickback)** : many FB groups and personal accounts keep posting app.woware.global/register?inviteCode=… links, with pitches like free T-shirts, ₱150 on signup, and posting withdrawal proof; referral rates A 10% / B 3% / C 1%

- **Verified** **YouTube / FB video KOLs** : Professor's Channel (67.7k subscribers) has been posting explainers, signup tutorials and Zoom info sessions since 2026-09-05, each with their own invite code in the description

- **Verified** **Paid press releases** : Manila Times (TMT Newswire) 06-15, Yahoo Finance / AccessNewswire 06-22, LinkedIn 06-12, plus their own wowarenewsroom.com

- **Verified** **Who picked up users after rival Novaluxia was shut down** : SEC issued a cease-and-desist order 09-29 and froze assets 10-02; TikTok @novaluxias posted "Novaluxia is gone" 10-08, then switched to promoting WOWARE 10-14; WOWARE's announcement 10-12 named another firm's funds dispute and announced plans for offline malls

- **Verified** **Organic Play Store traffic** : sitting only around #40 in the PH Shopping chart, adding a couple hundred installs a day, contributing little

## Why WOWARE (global.woware.app) is taking off

> Channel: Google Play (charted only in the Philippines). Research date 2026-11-06. In one line: **it's not a shopping app; it's a paid membership scheme of "do tasks to earn + recruit for referral commissions" wrapped in an e-commerce shell.** The Play install count is only the tip of the iceberg. Growth comes from downline promoters posting invite codes on Facebook groups, YouTube, and IG/TikTok. After the Philippine SEC halted and froze assets of similar scheme Novaluxia 2026-10, WOWARE also absorbed a wave of departing members and promoters.

### 1. Data (from our database)

- Play installs: 2026-10-29 is 5,812,11-06 is 7,243; +1,431 over the last 7 days, roughly 150–350 per day (googleplay.app_day / app_day_ext, AppstoreSpy estimate).

- Charts: **charted daily at #39–45 in PH Shopping Free** (chart_rank, 10-29 to 11-06), never in other stores or charts. The Philippine shopping category has a low bar, so a couple hundred installs a day keeps it around #40.

- Play listing date 2026-09-23, but the company was already issuing press releases 2026-06, and by early September promoters were using invite links for the web app app.woware.global (e.g. YouTube "Professor's Channel" 2026-09-05). So the Play package is just a shell around the web app, and **real membership is probably far above the Play install count** (unverified).

- No ratings, no review samples. Meta Ad Library hasn't tracked it, and x-radar finds not a single X post about it in 60 days.

### 2. What it actually is (mechanics)

The official line is "membership-based cross-border e-commerce, modeled on Sam's Club" (paid Manila Times 2026-06-15 release via releasecontact/Plentisoft newswire; Yahoo Finance and AccessNewswire 2026-06-22 are the same kind of wire). Putting together what promoters post, the real structure is:

- **Entry fee** : PT1 about ₱2,000 (some posts say ₱1,500 "lifetime, transferable"); PT2 about ₱5,900 (back-calculated from a 10% commission of ₱590). Pay and you get ₱2,000 in coupons of equal value, plus an 20–30% discount (several FB group posts: "PT1… it cost 2k… makaka kuha ka agad ng 2000 coupon"; "MEMBERSHIP MONG 2K CASHBACK 500… PUHUNAN MO").

- **Daily tasks** : "Promote & Earn: like, share, comment, about 5 minutes a day, ₱1,500–6,700 a month"; another post says "basic tasking ₱60–65 a day", and there's "₱2,000 Performance Deposit, daily earnings ₱50–100". ₱2,000 divided by ₱60 a day is about 33 days to break even, which is the "5–6 week payback" in the recall pitch.

- **3-level referrals** : direct A-tier 10%, B-tier 3%, C-tier 1%; plus "daily rebates" A 5% / B 3% / C 1%; ₱200–590 per person recruited. Above that are rank promotions ("earn ₱5,000–500,000 a month"), leaderboards, and milestone rewards (phones, motorcycles, cars) (FB post "7 WAYS TO EARN IN WOWARE").

- **"E-commerce" play** : "You buy goods on the platform, WOWARE sells them for you, you collect the commission". A classic purchasing-agent rebate.

- **Withdrawals** : 9:00–18:00 every Monday and Thursday (IG post).

- **Free tier PT0** : the official 2026-09-14 published an "Official Statement" saying "we are not an investment platform and do not force top-ups; PT0 users can run promotion tasks for free," and compared it to an S&R membership card. The statement itself shows that accusations of "forced top-ups / investment scheme" were already circulating online at the time.

Conclusion: users come **not to buy things, but to make money** . The membership fee is an entry ticket, and earnings come mainly from daily tasks and recruiting downward. It's the same template as Novaluxia, which the Philippine SEC 2026-09/10 classified as an unregistered security / investment contract (Novaluxia had users invest ₱1,000–5,000 to join "group buys" with promised short-term returns; Daily Tribune 2026-10-02).

### 3. Competitors and similar apps

| Name | Where | Timeline | Scale | How WOWARE differs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Novaluxia | iOS / Android / web, Philippines | 2025 onward; SEC issued a warning 09-28, a CDO 09-29, and froze assets 10-02 | Heavy promotion on FB/TikTok (scale unverified); not in the Play library | Nearly identical "social e-commerce + group buys + referral kickbacks"; it was shut down first and WOWARE absorbed its users |
| S&R Membership Shopping | Offline warehouse membership store + app, Philippines | since 2000 | A Costco-style chain in the Philippines | A real membership store: the fee only buys shopping rights and pays no cash; WOWARE uses it as an endorsement in its official statement |
| Shopee / Lazada affiliate programs | Big-company features | Years | The two leading Philippine e-commerce platforms | Legit product commissions with no membership fee and no multi-level referrals |
| "Earn by watching videos / reading novels" apps (ReelEarn, CoinReel, NiceReels, etc.) | Android | 2026 years | ReelEarn ranked #14 in PH Entertainment, 190k installs (googleplay library) | Monetized through ads, no membership fee; WOWARE's "5 minutes of tasks a day" competes for the same people looking for pocket money |
| Established Philippine MLMs (AIM Global, Frontrow, etc.) | Offline + online | Since the 2000–2010s | Big | Direct selling of physical products, with entry paid by buying goods; WOWARE moved this model into an app and added daily-earnings tasks |
| Other "WOWARE knock-off" schemes | Web | From ¥2026-06 | Unknown | WOWARE 2026-06-12 itself says in a LinkedIn release that "a large number of fraudulent platforms imitating our brand and model have appeared" |

### 4. How users came in (growth tactics)

1. **Downline promoters sweep Facebook groups** (verified): many personal accounts and groups ("ONLINE LEGIT INVESTMENT | WOWARE E COMMERCE PLATFORM", "Woware Global E-commerce Community Unofficial", etc.) keep posting app.woware.global/register?inviteCode=… links, with pitches like "free T-shirt", "₱150 on signup", "my withdrawal came through", "I got scammed several times before finding WOWARE". Three-level referrals turn every member into a salesperson, so **customer acquisition cost is paid out of new members' fees** .

2. **YouTube / FB video "professor" KOLs** (verified): "Professor's Channel: Giving Insights & Opportunity" (67.7k subscribers, @datascientistph) has posted multiple WOWARE explainers, signup tutorials and Zoom info sessions since 2026-09, with their own invite code in the description. They're also the same person behind FB's "ProfessorsTVlog". Other reviews like "WOWARE REVIEW: is it a Ponzi?" (Neil Yanto's channel Ka'Yanto) question it while also giving it exposure.

3. **Paid wires to look legitimate** (verified): Manila Times (TMT Newswire), Yahoo Finance, AccessNewswire and MyDailyRecord are all paid distribution for press releases, plus the self-run wowarenewsroom.com and LinkedIn articles. Promoters treat "published in Manila Times / Yahoo" and "SEC registration no. 2026040245578-04" as trust signals. Note that this registration number is only corporate registration, not the secondary license needed to solicit funds. Novaluxia did the same, and the SEC specifically clarified that incorporating as a company does not allow you to raise funds.

5. **The Play Store itself** : it contributes almost no users. Sitting around #40 in the PH Shopping chart, it brings little organic traffic. The Play package mainly gives people who were already recruited a "looks legit" download link.

### 5. Why it took off

- **The money loop is membership fees, not e-commerce** : ₱2,000 to join, roughly ₱60 a day in task earnings, about 5 weeks to break even, plus 3-level referrals. Early members do get paid out, and withdrawal screenshots become new promo material ("Dumating na ang withdrawal ko"). The loop needs a steady stream of new fees to pay older members' task earnings and referrals.

- **Timing** : Novaluxia, a similar Philippine scheme, had just been shut down by the SEC, leaving a group of promoters with downlines and urgently looking for the next scheme. WOWARE's pitch of "real products, real warehouse, planned offline mall, SEC registered" absorbed these people.

- **Philippine conditions** : extremely high Facebook penetration and strong demand for "online raket / sideline" income, with near-zero cost to spread through groups.

- **Trust packaging** : paid wires, the Sam's Club / S&R comparison, the free PT0 tier, and "we fight scams" statements all lower the psychological barrier to the first step.

### 6. Differentiation

Compared with similar-model schemes like Novaluxia, it adds three things: ① a nominal e-commerce layer with coupons and discount cards, so the membership fee buys "equal-value coupons" and sounds like a Costco membership; ② a free PT0 tier; ③ frequent press releases, self-declared "anti-counterfeit, anti-fraud" messaging, and a promised offline mall. These differences are **really why it picked up people after Novaluxia** , but they are differences in "trust packaging", not in product value. Against real retailers like Shopee, Lazada or S&R, it has no product or price advantage, and users aren't there to buy things.

### 7. Visibility and copycats

- Visibility: **it's being talked about in Philippine local circles** . Facebook groups and YouTube are full of promo posts, plus videos questioning whether it's a Ponzi. Mainstream media only runs paid press releases, with no investigative coverage; X has zero discussion; no SEC warning against WOWARE turned up (as of 2026-11-06, unverified).

- Copycats: WOWARE itself says that since 2026-06 there have been platforms imitating its brand and model (LinkedIn press release); the predecessor and peer with the same model is Novaluxia.

### 8. What to borrow (and what not to)

- Growth tactics worth borrowing: get old users to bring in new ones with rewards, running referral-code virality through Facebook groups and local KOLs; lower the psychological barrier to paid membership with an "equal-value voucher"; when a peer blows up, immediately catch the users who leave with a narrative of "transparency and physical storefronts." These work on legit membership-commerce or cashback products too.

- What not to copy: membership fees, "daily earnings" payouts, multi-level referral commissions. In the Philippines this structure has already been classed by the SEC as unregistered securities (the Novaluxia precedent), so regulatory risk and the risk of a fund-pool collapse are both extremely high. This product is **not a signal of a good business you can replicate** . The recall rationale that "this model is already making real money" doesn't hold: it earns from incoming fees, not from merchandise margin.

### 9. Still unclear

- Real membership size (mainly on the web; Play 7,243 installs are only part of it); what share of members pay.

- Whether cash flow is healthy and whether withdrawals get delayed or frozen; whether the SEC will act against WOWARE.

- Whether the background of the Australia 2024 incorporation and Philippines 2026 registration is true; who is behind the team (press contacts "Wilson" and "Ms. An", email wowarehk@gmail.com, suspected Hong Kong or Chinese-run team, unverified).

- Whether the physical Manila mall locations will actually open.
