Nota SPM 2026: SPM Trial Notes · Open Digital MY

# A Kuala Lumpur local-SEO operator built an exam-prep app around 'exam name + year' and rode exam season into Malaysia's Education chart

**What it is** A revision app for Malaysia's Form 5 SPM exam: 27 subjects of notes, 5,000 practice questions, and 500 state mock papers. Offline, no sign-up.

**Why it took off** On Play it ranks #1 for the terms students actually search, like 'nota spm' and 'spm 2026', and it hit the season from the September mock papers through the November written exams. Rivals either ship one app per subject or require sign-up plus subscription. This one covers everything in a single app, so students stick.

**B** **How you could follow it** Pick an exam nobody is doing this way yet (Indonesia, Thailand, or Vietnam national exams, or driving and citizenship tests). Use 'exam name + year' in the package name and title, bundle all subjects plus past papers into one offline app, keep notes free, limit quizzes, sell a one-time purchase, and launch two to three months before exam season.

Grade B: the playbook is clear and copyable, and few people know about it. Most other countries' exams are still untouched. But each single market is small and seasonal, revenue is unproven, and past papers carry takedown risk. Few people know about it yet

Data (updated daily) · first launch 2026-07-09 · 11-07 installs 19,389

Android · Total installs worldwide

Data 2026-10-29 → 2026-11-07 (10 days, 10 observations). Google's detail page only refreshes install counts every other day, so a flat day doesn't mean nobody installed.

About 420k Malaysian Form 5 students sit the SPM exam each year. Every September, state mock papers (trials) come out, and students search the web for them. An individual developer in Kuala Lumpur who works in Google local search ranking launched a revision app called "Nota SPM 2026" in July. It barely got installs in its first two months. From late September it was getting several hundred installs a day, reaching 19,389 by November (5), and charted on Malaysia's Play Education free chart. The volume is small, but the playbook is clear and could be transplanted to standardized exams in other countries. Below: how it gets found, who the competitors are, how it makes money, and where you should start if you want to follow it.

### "Wish I'd found it sooner"

On 2026 Sep 16, a student named hlqa left a five-star review on Google Play: "l found this app rlly helpful for me.. wish i found this app sooner". Eleven days later another student, Umar Sazaney, wrote: "It is getting better and better. It adds more subject time at a time to help me score my spm in 2026". These are the most-liked reviews in its review section, both from mid-to-late September, just as state, boarding-school (SBP), and MRSM trial papers were being released.

Install counts also moved around this time (Google Play installs, estimated by AppstoreSpy; daily measurements from 10-29 onward):

| Date | Total installs | What happened those days |
|---|---|---|
| 07-09 | 0 | Launched on Play; iOS version a few days later |
| 09-07 | 571 | Two months after launch, single-digit installs a day |
| 09-19 → 09-23 | 1,024 → 3,681 | Daily installs jumped from 54 to about 660 as trial papers dropped |
| 10-08 | 8,922 | 1,659 more in a single day |
| 10-26 | 16,187 | SPM oral exams begin |
| 11-05 | 19,389 | +3,190 over the last 7 days |

On Malaysia's Play Education free chart, it has ranked #18,11-06 10-29, and #25. The iOS version climbed to #6 on the Malaysia Education free chart and #35 on Education Top Grossing in November 2. On Play it has a 4.8 rating from 134 reviews (11-06).

### What it is

An SPM revision app for Form 4 and Form 5 students: quick-reference notes for 27 subjects, 5,259 practice questions aligned to the KSSM syllabus (with answers and explanations), and 535 real trial papers from states and SBP and MRSM schools (501 of them with marking schemes). It also has timed mock exams, per-subject score predictions, mistake-based retakes, a revision plan countdown to exam day, and flashcards. The most prominent line in the store description: notes and questions all live in the app, work offline with no sign-up, "so you can revise on the bus, at school, or anywhere without signal".

It also has materials for the October 26 oral exams: Ujian Lisan in Malay, Speaking Test topics in English. The four science subjects can be switched to English for students in the Dual Language Programme (DLP). The November 4 update notes three more subjects added, with notes and questions for 26 subjects "re-checked against the KSSM textbooks, answers match the book."

Content has grown fast. Its support page still lists early numbers from launch: 632 questions and 83 trial papers. Four months later those had grown to 5,259 questions and 535 papers. One person adding 27 subjects of content in four months suggests the material was probably AI-generated and then checked against textbooks (an inference; the 're-checked' wording also hints the early versions had errors).

### How students find it

**Mostly through search.** In November 6, searching 'nota spm', 'spm 2026', 'trial spm', or 'soalan spm' on Malaysia's Play store puts it at #1 for all four, ahead of Pandai, EduBijak, and JomStudy (Play web search, logged out; results may differ by account). The package name is `my.notaspm.app`, the title is 'Nota SPM 2026: SPM Trial Notes', and the short description crams in the full phrase 'SPM 2026 notes for all subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, trials & questions'. Google web search also surfaces its Play page.

The developer is Adam Bin Mohd Isa. Support email runs through boostmarketing.my, which is his Google Business Profile optimisation service at RM499 a year. Search ranking is his day job.

**Exam season pushes search volume up.** September trial papers drop, Oct 26 oral exams, Nov 23 to Dec 17 written exams (Astro Awani, jadualspm.my), and demand climbs steadily. His content was thin for the first two months and it wasn't exam season yet, so traffic was nearly zero.

**The chart bar is low.** Malaysian education apps have little competition. On the same day, the #23 app Pandai had 970k cumulative installs and gained only 7 over the last 4,499 days, a little over six hundred a day. A few hundred installs a day is enough to reach the top 30, and charting brings more exposure.

**Channels it skipped.** Similar apps like TryLah, EduBijak, Siap Study, and Minda Labs pay student creators on TikTok to share discount codes. This one doesn't: no promo videos show up in TikTok search. On X, nobody has mentioned it in nearly 90 days, and there's no press coverage. The bulk 'TRIAL SPM 2026 APPS' links spread through local forums and Facebook study groups belong to rival MM Lucky's series, not this one. Whether it ran Google app ads is unclear: the install curve rises in steps, which matches the developer's other app growing at the same time. It may have bought ads, or the steps could just be sampling intervals in the data (unverified).

### Same developer, same playbook

Under the Play developer name Open Digital MY, the same account also publishes: Waktu Solat Jakim (prayer times, 66k installs), KPP Test Malaysia 2026 (driving theory test, 20k), MPT4 2026: Latih Tubi Tahun 4 (Year 4 primary practice questions), and Al Mathurat. On his personal iOS account there's an Australian citizenship test app, and the Indonesian prayer-time app JadwalSholat.ai. Nearly all the names are 'exam name or search term + year', so each year you just change the year and keep going. He also runs an SEO site, waktusolat.ai, to drive traffic to the prayer-time app. Nota SPM has no website of its own, just a support page.

### Who it's competing with

SPM revision is a crowded but fragmented niche:

| Product | Scale | How it differs from Nota SPM |
|---|---|---|
| Pandai(2019) | Play 970k installs | Covers primary through secondary school, requires sign-up, internet, and a subscription; trial papers aren't the selling point |
| JomStudy(2023) | 460k on Play | General revision for Forms 1 to 5, doesn't target exam-season keywords |
| Siap Study | 78k on Play | Focused on History, runs on TikTok content |
| EduBijak(EduAdvisor,2025) | 45k on Play | A company product, pitched around AI revision, with an official TikTok account |
| Astra AI | 8.67M worldwide | General photo-solving, driven by heavy ad spend, not SPM-specific |
| The MM Lucky / jiuhock92 / kiing series | A few hundred to a few thousand each | One ad-heavy app per subject, spread through forums and Facebook groups |
| Notamu | 10k+ | Competes for the same 'nota spm' term, article-style notes, no trial papers |
| PDF sites such as pendidik2u and bumigemilang | Heavy SEO traffic | The same trial papers, but download-only PDFs with no question practice |

(Play installs, 11-06)

No one does all of this at once: SPM-only, all 27 subjects, state trials built into the app, offline, no sign-up. Rivals either make students install a dozen apps or make them register before subscribing. Search brings students in, and this is what keeps them, which is why they score 4.8 points.

### How it makes money

Notes are free forever; the free version gives 20 practice questions a day and 1 mock exam per day. Premium unlocks unlimited practice, score prediction, all explanations and flashcards. The Play listing says "one-time payment, no subscription", and the iOS page shows RM19.99 (about $4.5). iOS is already testing two more tiers: monthly at RM9.90 and a "Parent Plan" yearly at RM59.90. There are also ads.

Revenue is not visible from outside. It hit #35 on the iOS Education Top Grossing chart, so people are paying, but the Malaysian Education Top Grossing chart has a very low bar, so the amount is probably small (inference). Reviews also include complaints: "I wish it was free" (10-17).

### If it were you

**Verdict:** worth a try. This one doesn't win on product novelty. It works because "exam name + year" owns the search terms, it lands right before exam season, and it bundles content that rivals split up into one offline app. Anyone can copy this playbook, and few people know it. The weak spots: each market is small, demand is seasonal (only a few months a year), and the money has not been proven.

**Who it's for:** an indie or small team of 1 people who understands ASO or SEO, can use AI to mass-produce questions and notes, and is willing to spend time proofreading every subject against the textbook. Knowing the country's language and exam system, or knowing local teachers, helps a lot.

**Who it's not for:** anyone who wants to go head-to-head with SPM in Malaysia (it already ranks #1 for four keywords, and keeps adding subjects every month); anyone who wants one app to earn all year; anyone who doesn't want to handle wrong answers and students complaining that "the answers don't match the textbook".

**How to do it:** pick a different exam. Indonesia's UTBK / TKA, Thailand's TCAS, Vietnam's high school graduation exam, the Philippines' various licensing exams, or each country's driving theory test and citizenship test. Nigeria's JAMB is already dominated by TestDriller, so first check what ranks at the top of the local store. Copy the shape: use the exact terms local students search for, plus the year, in the package name and title; put all subjects in one app; bundle the public mock papers and past papers from the country; offline, no sign-up; free notes, limited practice, one-time purchase, plus a cheaper family yearly plan. Be clear about where the papers come from, because copyright is a risk: if the state education departments file complaints and the papers get taken down, a whole season of work is lost.

**How to get users:** the main channel is store search. Before launch, check who ranks at the top on the local Play Store for those terms and how many installs they have. Then build an SEO site with questions and papers that sends traffic to the app (the Waktu Solat app did this; SPM has not been done this way, which is the gap he left). In countries where the category chart bar is low, aim for the chart first, since the chart brings its own traffic.

**When to launch:** two to three months before the target exam's mock exam season, so the content has time to grow and the keywords have time to climb. This one launched in July and only started growing in September.

**Where the bet could go wrong:** ① after the December SPM exam, it switched to "SPM 2027" at the start of 2027 and failed to keep traffic going, which means apps like this have to climb from scratch every year; ② its iOS app never got back into the top 100 of the Education Top Grossing chart, which suggests exam prep doesn't make much money in small countries; ③ in the country you pick, if the top results on Play are big-company products like Pandai instead of a scattered pile of small apps, there's no gap like this one.

Where users come from

- **Verified** **Play store search (ASO)** : 2026-11-06 Play web search (gl=my): nota spm, spm 2026, trial spm, soalan spm all rank #1; the package name and title are the search terms; the developer's main business is local search optimization (boostmarketing.my)

- **Verified** **Exam season (external event)** : 9-19 to 9-23 daily installs jumped from 54 to about 664, right when the state trial papers came out; SPM oral exam starts 10-26, written exams run 11-23 to 12-17; the app added an oral module specifically

- **Verified** **Organic exposure on Play's Education category chart** : MY Education Top Free chart #18–#63; Pandai, at #23 on the same chart, also gets only about 640 installs a day, so the bar is low

- Inference **Cross-promotion between the same developer's app portfolio and SEO site** : Open Digital MY also has Waktu Solat Jakim (66k installs) and KPP Test 2026 (20k); waktusolat.ai sends traffic to the app with utm tags; Nota SPM doesn't have its own SEO site, only a support page

- Inference **Google App ads** : the curve is step-shaped and rose in October at the same time as KPP Test; the ad library doesn't track this developer, so there's no direct evidence

- Inference **TikTok / forums / FB groups** : TikHub search finds no promo videos for it; the links posted in bulk on forums and FB groups belong to rival MM Lucky series apps

## Nota SPM 2026: how SPM Trial Notes (my.notaspm.app) managed to break through

> Channel: Google Play (Malaysia) | Developer: Open Digital MY (Play) / Adam Mohd Isa (iOS) | Research date 2026-11-06

### Bottom line

This is an SPM exam revision app built by a solo developer in Kuala Lumpur (Adam Bin Mohd Isa, whose day job is local Google Business Profile SEO at boostmarketing.my), using a "keyword app portfolio" approach. It took off because three things came together: **on Play, "nota spm / spm 2026 / trial spm / soalan spm" all rank #1 for these high-intent terms (ASO)** ; **it landed right in SPM exam season (September state trial papers → 10-26 oral exams → 11-23 written exams)** ; and **it packs 27 subjects of notes + 535 state trial papers + 5,259 questions into one offline, no-sign-up app** . Rivals are either dozens of single-subject ad apps or Pandai / EduBijak, which require sign-up, an internet connection, and monthly subscriptions. The scale is small (19k installs), the seasonality is strong, and it drops off after the December exam.

### 1. The data: how far it actually went

**Install curve (googleplay library `app_day_ext`, AppstoreSpy estimates + our own collection; 10-29 onward is measured)**

| Timeline | Total installs | Average daily new installs | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-07-09 | 0 | — | Play launch (iOS launched 7-13/14, id6789479475) |
| 09-07 | 571 | ~8 | Almost no installs in the first two months after launch |
| 09-14 → 09-19 | 752 → 1,024 | 26 → 54 | Starts to climb |
| 09-19 → 09-23 | 1,024 → 3,681 | **~664** | First big jump, right when the state trial (percubaan) papers started coming out |
| 10-04 | 7,255 | ~800 (two days) | |
| 10-08 | 8,922 | 1,659 (single day) | |
| 10-20 → 10-26 | 13,115 → 16,187 | 180–1,060 | 10-26 SPM oral exams begin |
| 11-01 | 18,173 | ~658 | |
| 11-05 | 19,389 | ~290 | 7 days +3,190 (card) |

- **Charts** : Malaysia Play Education Top Free chart #18 (10-29) → #63 (11-01) → #25 (11-06) (googleplay `chart_rank`). On the same day, #23 was Pandai (970k installs, 7 days +4,499), which means the bar to chart in Malaysia's Education category is very low: a few hundred installs a day gets you into the top 30.

- **iOS version** (Adam Mohd Isa's personal account, "SPM Notes 2026 / Nota SPM 2026: Soalan Trial"): Malaysia Education Top Free #101 (10-28) → **#6 (11-02)** → #48 (11-06); Education Top Grossing **#35 (11-02)** → #96 (11-06); rating 16 → 24 (appstore library). A Sensor Tower Malaysia iOS Education chart snapshot also caught it at #7 (from a Jina search summary).

- **Ratings** : Play 4.8 stars / 134 reviews (Play page, 2026-11-06); iOS 5.0 / 24 reviews. The most-liked reviews are from students in mid-to-late September: "wish i found this app sooner", "It adds more subject time at a time". Some complain "I wish it was free" (10-17).

- **Monetization** : the card says "no IAP, ads only", which is **out of date** . The Play page now lists both "Contains ads" and "In-app purchases"; the iOS page lists three in-app tiers: **Nota SPM Premium RM19.99 (one-time), Monthly Premium RM9.90, Parent Plan Yearly RM59.90** . The free version gives 20 questions a day + 1 mock exams; notes are free forever; Premium unlocks unlimited questions, score prediction, all explanations and flashcards. The description says "single one-time payment… no subscription", but iOS is already testing monthly and a "Parent Plan" yearly. Our library's `app_snap.offers_iap` still shows False as of 11-06, so either in-app purchases on Play were added recently or that field in the library is out of date (unverified).

### 2. Competitors: who else does the same thing

SPM (Malaysia's Form 5 national exam, 2026 has about 420k candidates, written papers run 11-23 to 12-17, sources: Astro Awani, jadualspm.my) revision is a mature, crowded but fragmented niche:

| Product | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from Nota SPM |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pandai | Android / iOS / web | 2019-09 | Play 969,388 installs, 7 days +4,499, MY Education Top Free chart #23 | Covers primary through secondary school, requires sign-up and an internet connection, subscription model; more videos and questions, but "SPM 2026 trial papers" are not the selling point |
| JomStudy | Android | 2023-04 | Play 456,219,7 days +2,287, chart #52 | Covers Form 1 to Form 5, doesn't focus on the SPM exam season |
| EduBijak: SPM Made Easy(EduAdvisor) | Android/iOS | 2025-03 | Play 44,859,7 days +1,602; iOS rating 251 | Company product, focused on AI revision, promoted through TikTok's official account |
| Siap Study | Android | Unknown | Play 77,851,7-day +1,943 | Mainly History (Sejarah), driven by TikTok content |
| TryLah | Web | 2026 | Unknown, TikTok creator promo codes (@nmowei 80k views, @angelmiaaa_ and others) | Web question bank + creator promo codes, paid |
| Astra AI | Android/Web | 2025-08 | Play 8.67M (global), #10 on the MY Education chart | General AI homework/question-scan apps, not SPM-specific; they rely on heavy paid acquisition |
| Notamu: Nota SPM untuk Kamu | Android | Unknown | Play 10K+ installs, 35 reviews | Same-name keyword "nota spm", article-style notes + community |
| Minda Labs | Android | 2026 | Play 1K+ | Question bank + AI tutor, pushed by TikTok creators |
| MM Lucky studio / kiing / jiuhock92 series | Android | Around 2026-09 | 100+ to a few thousand installs per app (e.g. REVISE UJIAN BERTUTUR SPM 3,787) | **One app per subject** ad-style trial paper bundles, with links posted in batches on Cari.com forum and FB groups |
| CollaNote (SPM templates) | iOS/Android | — | Creator @hvrneeee's SPM video, 377k views | A note-taking tool, not a question bank |
| Free PDF sites (pendidik2u, bumigemilang, cerdik.my) | Web | Years | Heavy SEO traffic | Same state trial papers + answers, but as PDF downloads, not for practice drills |

**Bottom line** : no one combines "SPM-only + all 27 subjects + state trial papers inside the app + offline + no sign-up." The closest are MM Lucky-style per-subject app swarms (same format, but fragmented) and Pandai (deep content, but heavy).

### 3. Growth levers: where users come from

1. **Play Store search (ASO), confirmed: the main source** . 2026-11-06 checked Play web search (gl=my, logged out) for "nota spm", "spm 2026", "trial spm", and "soalan spm". **Nota SPM ranks #1 on all four** , ahead of Pandai, EduBijak, JomStudy, and the MM Lucky series. The package name is `my.notaspm.app`. The title is "Nota SPM 2026: SPM Trial Notes" (Malay version "Nota SPM 2026: Soalan & Trial"), and the short description crams in "SPM 2026 notes for all subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, trials & questions." Its Play link in Google results carries `utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic`, so web search is also driving traffic. The developer's day job is local search ranking (boostmarketing.my sells Google Business Profile optimization at RM499/year), so ASO is his core skill.

2. **Exam-season demand, confirmed** . The first big jump around 9-20 lines up with the state and SBP/MRSM trial papers coming out, when students everywhere go looking for past papers. 10-26 oral exams and 11-23 written exams keep search volume climbing. The app specifically added a BM "Ujian Lisan" and an English Speaking module, aimed at the 10-26 oral exam.

3. **Developer's own app portfolio / cross-promotion: partly confirmed** . Open Digital MY has Waktu Solat Jakim on Play (65,598 installs, 7 days +6,393, among 19 Lifestyle apps), KPP Test Malaysia 2026 (20,372), Al Mathurat, and more. On iOS, the same person has JadwalSholat.ai (Indonesia), Australian Citizenship Test, Timestamp Camera, Baby Planner, and Berita Penuh. Play's "More by" section links them to each other. He also runs an SEO site, waktusolat.ai, which funnels web traffic to the prayer-time app (links carry `utm_source=waktusolat.ai`). Nota SPM itself has only a single Cloudflare Pages support page (notaspm.pages.dev), and **I have not seen an SEO site built for it** .

4. **Paid acquisition: unconfirmed** . Nota SPM and KPP Test both started rising from late September to October, and the growth is stepwise (jumps of +1,659, +2,146 on certain days). This could mean the developer switched on Google App ads together, or it could just be an artifact of AppstoreSpy's observation intervals. Our Google and Meta ad libraries don't track this developer (not finding them doesn't mean they didn't spend).

5. **TikTok / creators: none found** . TikHub searches for "nota spm 2026 app" and "app ulangkaji spm" returned no promo videos for it. Its same-category peers TryLah, CollaNote, EduBijak, Minda Labs, and Siap Study all use creator discount codes on TikTok to pull in users. Nota SPM hasn't taken that route. TikTok has an auto-generated hashtag page "nota-spm-2026-spm-trial-notes-app" (10-26 updates), which shows people are searching the name, but I couldn't find any specific videos.

6. **Forum / FB group link posting: nothing found for this app itself** . The card's claim about FB groups and Lemon8 batch link posting turned out to be about the **rival MM Lucky studio** . A Cari.com forum thread "TRIAL SPM 2026 APPS" (thread 10-08) lists 15 `com.mmlucky.*` links, `com.jiuhock92.*` links, and `com.kiing.*` links. None of them are Nota SPM.

7. **X / media: 0** . x-radar returns 0 results for "nota spm" and "notaspm" over the past 90 days. No media coverage. Nota SPM isn't mentioned in TryLah's blog post "2026 best SPM revision resources of 5" either.

### 4. Why it can break out

1. **It owns the most valuable exam-season search terms** : its four core keywords rank #1 on Play. Malaysia's education category has a low bar, so a few hundred daily installs can land it in the top 30 of the free education chart. Once charted, it gets more exposure (Play search results, chart_rank).

2. **"One app for everything" vs. "one app per subject"** : rivals like MM Lucky make students install a dozen apps, and Pandai requires sign-up, an internet connection, and a subscription. Nota SPM puts 27 subjects, 535 state trial papers (501 with answers), and 5,259 questions into one offline app with no sign-up (per the Play description). For Form 5 students on the bus with limited data, that's a real advantage.

3. **Content is iterating very fast** . The support page used to say "632 questions, 83 trial papers" (early on). It now says "5,259 questions, 535 trial papers." Subjects grew from core subjects to 27, and it added a DLP English version and an oral exam module, and re-checked everything against the textbooks (per the update notes). Top reviews praise it for "getting better, adding subjects one by one." This pace suggests AI-generated questions and notes followed by textbook checks (speculation, not verified).

4. **Timing** : September trial papers drop → 10-26 oral exams → 11-23 written exams. Demand peaked just as the content became substantial.

5. **Monetization: notes free, practice questions limited, one-time purchase of RM19.99** . Low barrier for students and parents. The iOS education top-grossing chart reached #35, so people are clearly paying (Malaysia's education grossing chart has a low bar, so the amounts are probably small).

### 5. Differentiation, and whether that's why it broke out

- **Differentiation** : SPM-only, all subjects, a compilation of real state trial papers, offline with no sign-up, grade prediction and a daily revision plan (countdown to exam day), and a one-time purchase.

- **Is that the cause?** : partly. Users found it through ASO and exam season. They stayed and left good reviews (4.8 stars) because of "everything in one app + offline." Differentiation alone wouldn't have gotten it off the ground. It had almost no traffic for its first two months: 7–August content was still thin, and it wasn't exam season yet.

### 6. Visibility and copycats

- **Visibility: few people know about it yet** . Revenue isn't public, there's no media coverage, X shows 0 mentions, there are no TikTok promo videos, and same-category blogs don't mention it. The only public footprints are chart pages on Sensor Tower and Storelift.

- **Copycats** : none found that specifically copy it. The per-subject MM Lucky, jiuhock92, and kiing series run in parallel as competitors, not copies. Notamu is going after the same "nota spm" keyword.

### 7. What to borrow

- **Local national-exam / licensing × current-year keyword apps** : SPM 2026, KPP Test 2026 (driving theory test), Australian Citizenship Test. Titles and package names use the search terms directly, and the year gets updated annually. This developer has already built 3 apps with 10K+ installs using the same playbook (Waktu Solat Jakim 66k, KPP 20k, Nota SPM 19k).

- **Low bar for small-country category charts** : Malaysia's education free chart can put an app in the top 30 with a few hundred daily installs, and charting then brings organic traffic from the chart and search.

- **Combine what rivals split apart** : rivals are one app per subject, with content on PDF sites. Merging them into one offline app is the differentiation.

- **Free notes + limited practice + one-time purchase** , plus a parent annual plan (RM59.90).

- Can be copied to other national exams: Indonesia's UTBK/TKA, Nigeria's JAMB (TestDriller has already scaled), Thailand's TCAS, Vietnam's national high school exam.

### 8. Uncertain

- Whether it runs Google App ads: the curve is stepwise and rose in sync with KPP Test, but there's no ad library evidence.

- When the Play in-app purchases launched, the conversion rate, and the revenue are all unverified (we only know the iOS education top-grossing chart hit #35).

- Copyright risk for the 535 trial papers: the papers come from state education departments, SBP, and MRSM. If complaints lead to delisting, the risk is significant.

- Whether the questions and notes are AI-generated: "rechecked against the KSSM textbooks" suggests early versions had errors. This is speculation.

- Whether it can carry over after the exam (12-17) via "SPM 2027": needs a look back in early 2027.

- Play search rankings were scraped logged out through Jina (gl=my). Results may differ by exit node and by user.
