Visa form filling for two bucks a go: a Chrome extension from a Bangladeshi air-ticket site, where the real money sits in the ৳100 "demo flight ticket" behind it
What it is A Chrome extension that fills the Indian visa form on the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh's website, plus the arrival card, port tax, and travel tax forms, with a one-click fill from your passport or an old application PDF. Each fill costs ৳2.
Why it took off India resumed tourist visas for Bangladeshis in Jun 28, then from Jul 1 switched to assigning appointment slots by submission order, so faster filers got earlier slots. The author used Bangla-language visa explainer videos to gather 75k views and pinned the extension link in the top comment.
CHow you could follow Don't chase this category, it's already crowded. Wait for the next government portal policy change, then build a form-filling tool that serves only that form, charge a few cents per use from a local wallet, upsell high-priced paperwork later, and get users through local-language policy and error-message videos.

Indian Visa Autofill - Free is a Chrome extension built by flyticket, a small Bangladeshi site that sells visa paperwork. It fills the Indian visa site with your details from a passport or an old application PDF in one click. After India reopened tourist visas to Bangladesh in June 2026, a dozen-plus clones of this kind appeared at once. This one is a minor follower with about 650 users in 5 months, while the leader is already at 10k. The extension isn't worth copying, but it runs the chain of "policy change → local-language info video → a few-cent tool → paperwork at 100x the price" very cleanly, and that part is worth studying.
Two spaces in one name
In Jul 2026 15, a user named K M Abdul Mazid commented under a Bangla YouTube video that for three days he couldn't upload his visa documents. The system kept reporting "Name Mismatch, User name K M ABDUL MAZID does not Match file details name K M ABDUL MAZID." The only difference between the two names was an extra space in the middle. The channel replied that same day: "Try again after 2 PM."
The video is titled "Indian visa Webfile won't upload? How to fix the Name Mismatch error." By Nov 6 it had 8,560 views and 34 comments, nearly all of them the same kind of plea: phone number mismatch, first and last name swapped, the wrong visa center selected, "three weeks and still no appointment." The channel replied to them one by one. In Jul 18, someone asked whether the phone number in the documents could be changed. The channel's reply: "Redo it. With your old documents, our Chrome extension can fill out the visa form for you automatically in a minute. Check out visa.flyticket.com.bd."
The channel is called "Free Indian visa form auto fill" and opened in May 24, two days before the extension was listed. It is this extension's main source of users.
What it is
Once installed, you upload an old application PDF or passport scan on the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh site (indianvisa-bangladesh.nic.in). The extension extracts the name, passport number, date of birth, address, and issue and expiry dates, then fills the multi-page form in one click. Beyond the visa form, it also covers the other forms Bangladeshis need for the trip to India: the India e-Arrival card, Air Suvidha, Bangladesh port tax, and travel tax. The Nov 1 5.00 version added AI photo fixing for passport photos, file compression, automatic captcha recognition, and a built-in hotel directory, and can generate cover letters and NOC documents. You can save multiple family or client profiles, and the description states it's for individuals and travel agencies.
The Chrome Web Store shows 552 users and a rating of 4.0 / 8 from 11-01 reviews. A third-party extension data site recorded about 433 in Sep 1 and about 650 in Nov 6, roughly three a day. Growth picked up from Nov 3 to 6 (about +73), which lines up with the two new videos posted in Oct 31 and the new version in Nov 1.
Named Free, so where's the money?
The extension's name says Free, and the first line of its store description is "A free productivity extension." In practice you first register a flyticket account, which gives you ৳5 for signing up, top up via bKash (Bangladesh's most common mobile wallet), and each fill costs ৳2, about 1.6 US cents.
That ৳2 isn't the business. The price list on flyticket's homepage is:
| Service | Pricing |
|---|---|
| Indian visa form filling (extension, per use) | ৳2 |
| Demo flight ticket PDF | ৳100 |
| Hotel booking PDF | ৳100 |
| Notarization | ৳300 / ৳500 |
| Dhaka South City trade license PDF | ৳100 |
| 代理会员(押 ৳1,000,60 天,机票酒店降到 ৳60,可出带自家 logo 的 PDF) | ৳1,000 |
Source: visa.flyticket.com.bd homepage. The homepage claims "50K+ users, 100k+ PDFs issued," unverified.
Visa applications require round-trip flight and hotel proof. Once someone has filled out the form with the extension, the next step is finding those two documents, which flyticket sells. The hotel directory built into the extension is there to move people toward this step. The channel posted "Book a demo flight in a few clicks | Instant Dummy Air Ticket Booking" in Jul 29, promising "valid for visas to all countries" and "instant PDF download." So this is a few-cent entry point with paperwork at 100x the price: the extension pulls visa applicants into flyticket's balance system, and the money comes back from ৳100 orders (inferred; how much of the conversion from ৳2 to ৳100 happens can't be seen from outside).
Why now: India reopened and the rules changed again
- After the political upheaval in Bangladesh in August 2024, India stopped issuing tourist visas to Bangladeshis for nearly two years, handling only a few categories such as medical visas (Economic Times / ANI, 2026-07-04).
- In 2026 Jun 25, India announced that from Jun 28 tourist visa processing would resume at 5 visa centers (Bloomberg 2026-06-25). Long queues formed outside visa centers, and in early July the high commission said it would expand service.
- From Jul 1, visa centers began assigning slots automatically by submission order, and applicants could no longer choose their own. The travel site traveltell wrote in Aug 6: "The only lever you have is to submit your complete form early." Filling out the form by hand takes 15 to 50 minutes (according to extension developers). Travel agencies handle dozens of applications at a time, and automatic form-filling became a necessity from then on.
flyticket's extension launched in May, when only medical visas were available, so the channel's earliest videos covered "the new Indian medical visa rules M1 M2 M3 M4." Demand only took off once tourist visas resumed, and a wave of new extensions appeared between 6 and October.
Where the users come from: visa news, not the extension
By 11-06, the channel had 15 videos, 75k views, and 195 subscribers (YouTube). The most-watched videos are all visa news:
| Video | Date | Views |
|---|---|---|
| New Indian medical visa rules (Shorts) | 5-30 | 21,158 |
| How to check the status of an Indian visa | 7-29 | 15,655 |
| Latest on Indian visa appointment slots | 6-30 | 10,568 |
| Webfile won't upload, what to do about Name Mismatch | 7-14 | 8,560 |
| One-click autofill for the visa form, arrival card, port tax, and travel tax (product demo) | 8-14 | 1,732 |
| Indian Visa Autofill with AI (product demo) | 10-31 | 452 |
Plugin videos get a few hundred to two thousand views; policy and error-explainer videos get tens of thousands. Every video's pinned comment links the plugin and the flyticket signup, and the channel acts as its own customer support in the comments. It even handles other travel needs on the side: an Aug 27 video, "Book Indian train tickets from Bangladesh, pay with bKash," got 2,509 views.
The comments also show where users get stuck. The most common questions aren't "how do I fill the form" but "I can't get an appointment slot," "is there software that grabs slots," and "the documents won't upload." On Nov 1, someone asked "does it work on mobile?" The plugin only runs on desktop Chrome, and many applicants only have phones.
Beyond this channel, flyticket's homepage video tutorials and FAQ also promote the plugin. The description ends with "Found it useful? A quick review helps other applicants find the extension," and so far that has earned only 8 ratings. Nothing about it shows up on X or in the media.

User counts come from the Chrome Web Store, 11-01 to 11-07. In the "Related" section at the bottom of the store page, nine out of ten results are these same competitors, all linked to one another.
flyticket differs from the top Pro plugin in that it handles more forms (arrival cards, port taxes, travel tax), charges ৳2 per use with no plan purchase needed, and connects to its parent site's document business. But none of that has let it catch up: over the same period Pro stayed at around 10k, while flyticket grew about 100 a month.
What it can learn, and what it can't follow
Three things worth learning:
- A government form with high friction + a local wallet charging a few cents per use + high-value documents the same person needs next. People won't pay much for form filling alone, but once the form is done they immediately need flight itineraries, hotel bookings, and notarization, and that's where the money is.
- Publish local-language explainer videos whenever the policy changes. Videos on "new medical visa rules," "latest slot updates," or "what to do about a name mismatch" cost almost nothing to make, ride policy-driven search demand, and the tool link goes in the pinned comment.
- Watch for rule changes like "used to be grabbable, now first-come-first-served." Changes like this turn manual filling into a must-have for automation.
What it can't follow: demand here is entirely tied to India's visa policy toward Bangladesh. One country, one form, and a dozen-plus plugins already compete, with the leader at 10k users, a half-year head start, a badge, and ties to Facebook groups. The same playbook was copied to Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Laos e-visas (the eVisaFlow family, listed in 6 to July), and it has reached only 0 to 9 users. Without a policy event to push demand up, or a local wallet and downstream documents to follow, it never took off.
If it were you
C. Some lessons to learn, but not worth it as a plugin. Indian visa form filling for Bangladesh is already crowded with more than a dozen players, the leader at 10k users, with new ones still arriving this week. flyticket itself has only 5 users after 650 months, and its revenue comes from its parent site's document services, not the plugin. What's worth taking is the playbook, not this category.
Best for: people or travel agencies already handling visas, flights, or documents in a given country. You already have a payment channel and downstream products to sell, and the plugin just adds another entry point to your business. Or developers who know a local market's language and can keep producing policy-explainer videos.
Not for: anyone hoping to grow through "a better Indian visa form filler" on the Chrome Store; the table above shows how that ends. Anyone without a downstream business, hoping the plugin itself will earn money: the ৳2 per-use ceiling is the limit. Anyone who can't make local-language content.
How to do it: pick a government portal going through policy changes (visa resumption, a new system, a switch to queues or lotteries, new required documents) and build a form-filling tool just for that form: import from passports and old applications, fill in one click. Charge a few cents per use through the local mobile wallet most people use, then attach things you can sell (itineraries, hotel bookings, translation, notarization, agency services). The tool itself should be buildable in one to two weeks. Note mobile: many of these users only have phones, and a plugin can't reach them, so you may need a web or mobile version later (inference).
How to acquire users: don't film product demos, film policy changes and errors. When a policy lands, publish local-language Shorts and explainer videos, act as customer support in the comments, and pin the link, turning "what do I do now" into "use this." Travel agencies are bulk users; go find them directly in visa mutual-help groups and agent circles.
When to move: the window for this kind of opportunity is the first one or two months after a policy change. When India resumed visas on Jun 28, flyticket was there a month early. By September, new plugins were being listed every month and the window had closed. Wait for the next policy event instead of chasing this one.
What would show I got it wrong: ① a follower in this plugin or category passes 10k users within a few months and catches up to Pro, showing the category isn't saturated and entering still has room; ② the Indian visa site itself adds passport or old-application import, or redesigns and breaks plugins, which wipes out the whole category; ③ someone takes the same playbook to another country and it works without any policy event, showing "wait for a policy event" isn't a requirement.

Indian Visa Autofill - Free(Chrome,ipgkecffngnfifpigamfialggldddakf)
In short: flyticket (visa.flyticket.com.bd), a small Bangladeshi site, makes a Chrome extension that fills in the Indian embassy visa site in Bangladesh (indianvisa-bangladesh.nic.in) and several related government forms with one click. It's called "Free," but it requires a flyticket account and deducts ৳2 (about 1.6 US cents) from your balance per fill. Its real purpose is to drive traffic to flyticket's high-priced services: the "demo flight / hotel booking" PDFs sold to visa applicants, ৳100 each. Verdict: it hasn't really broken out. It's a small follower riding the platform event of India resuming tourist visas for Bangladesh (2026-06-28). The leader is another developer's Indian Visa Autofill Pro in the same country, with 10k users, a Featured badge, and a half-year head start. It reached about 650 users in 5 months, mostly through a Bengali YouTube channel: short visa-explainer videos first to build traffic, then extension links in the pinned comments.

Growth rate: from 9/1 to 11/6, about 217 users added over 66 days, roughly 3 a day. The 11/3 to 11/6 stretch added 73, which lines up with two things: 10-31 posted two new videos ("Indian Visa Autofill with AI" and "AI দিয়ে ছবি ঠিক, ক্যাপচাও সলভ"), and 11-01 shipped v5.00 (new AI photo fixing, AI file compression, auto CAPTCHA solving, built-in hotel library).
2. What it is and where the money comes from
- What the extension does: it pulls name, passport number, date of birth, address, issue and expiry dates out of a PDF the user uploads (a visa application PDF they filled before, or a passport scan), then fills them into the form in one click. It covers five sites: the Indian visa Bangladesh form (tourist, business, medical, student categories and more), Air Suvidha, India's e-Arrival entry card, the Bangladesh port levy (passenger.blpa.gov.bd), and the travel tax (billpay.sonalibank.com.bd). Extras include AI passport photo fixing, file compression, CAPTCHA solving, a built-in hotel library, and generation of three application documents: Cover Letter, NOC and Undertaking. Profiles can be saved for multiple family members or clients. (Store page)
- The parent site flyticket's price list (homepage): demo flight ticket ৳100, hotel booking ৳100, notarization ৳300 and ৳500, Dhaka South trade license ৳100, India visa filing ৳2, each one-time. "Agent membership" costs ৳1,000 for 60 days, with flight tickets and hotel bookings dropping to ৳60, and it can output PDFs with your own logo. The homepage claims 50K+ users and 1L+ (100k) PDFs; unverified.
- Inference: visa applications require proof of flight and hotel bookings, so the ৳2-per-use form filling is a hook. The next step for users after filling the form is buying the ৳100 "demo flight / hotel" PDF, and the built-in hotel library in the extension exists to push people toward that step. This is a traffic entry point plus high-margin paperwork combination: the money comes from the paperwork, not the extension itself. The flyticket channel posted "Instant Dummy Air Ticket Booking" 2026-07-29, which suggests they sell this kind of "demo ticket" (by convention not a real ticket); not verified.
- Main users: the extension description says it targets individual applicants, travel agencies and visa consultants. YouTube comments include people asking "can I use it on my phone" and "if I don't have an old form, will scanning just the passport line work," so individual users are a large share.
3. Why users arrived now: platform events
- 2024-08-05 The political situation in Bangladesh changed, the Indian visa centers (IVAC) were hit, and India stopped issuing tourist visas to Bangladeshis for nearly two years. During that time only categories like medical were processed, about 1,500 applications a day. (Economic Times / ANI, 2026-07-04)
- 2026-06-25 India announced that from 6-28, tourist visas would resume at 5 visa centers. Long lines formed outside the visa centers, and in early July the High Commission said it would expand visa services. (Bloomberg 2026-06-25; Prothom Alo; Economic Times 2026-07-04)
- From 2026-07-01 IVAC switched to automatically assigning slots in submission order, so applicants can no longer pick their own time. According to traveltell (2026-08-06), "the only lever you have is to submit a complete form early," and filling the form by hand takes 15 to 50 minutes (an NexSoft blog says 15–20 minutes, and Soriful's post in a Facebook group says 30–50 minutes). Travel agencies handle dozens at a time, so automatic filling became a necessity.
- flyticket's extension went up on May 26, a month before tourist visas resumed, when medical visas were still being processed, and its videos also led with the "new medical visa rules." The demand only really took off after the resumption, and a batch of new extensions appeared across the category from 6 to October (see the competitor table).
4. Growth tactics (where users come from)

6. Why it can have 650 users
- Platform event: India resumed accepting tourist visa applications from Bangladeshis on 2026-06-28, and 7-01 switched to submission-order slot allocation, so "filling fast" directly determines your place in line, and demand took off overnight. (Bloomberg, ET, traveltell)
- Self-run Bengali YouTube channel: news-style videos on "medical visa rules," "status checks" and "Name Mismatch errors" built 75k views, then pointed people to the extension via the pinned comment. The product videos themselves get few views; the news videos brought people in. (YouTube Data API)
- The parent site already has payments and users: bKash top-ups, a ৳5 signup bonus, ৳2 per use, so trying it costs users almost nothing. Charges draw from the same balance as the air ticket and hotel paperwork. (flyticket home page)
- Broad coverage of forms: Indian visa, e-Arrival, Air Suvidha, port levy and travel tax, so every form to fill before travel is handled in one place. This is its clearest difference from Pro. Judging by growth, though, this didn't let it overtake Pro. (Store page)
7. Differentiation, and is it the reason it's taking off?
- How it differs from Pro: (a) it covers more than visa forms; all the forms a Bangladeshi traveling to India has to fill (entry card, port levy, travel tax, Air Suvidha) are included; (b) the name carries "Free," with a ৳2 entry threshold, so no package purchase is needed; (c) it leads into selling demo air ticket and hotel PDFs, and the built-in hotel library serves that step; (d) v5 added AI photo fixing, file compression and CAPTCHA solving.
- These differences are not why it grew. Its growth is driven mainly by platform events and its own YouTube channel, at roughly 100 users a month, while Pro stayed around 10k over the same period. The differentiation is more about keeping users inside flyticket's balance system and leading them to the ৳100 paperwork than a weapon for acquisition. In the store, "Free" may draw slightly more clicks than rivals; unverified.
8. How visible it is
- Few people know about it yet. X shows nothing, no media has covered it, no revenue is disclosed, and it has only a small Bengali YouTube channel (195 subscribers). The category is already crowded in Bangladesh's visa agent circles: from 9 to November almost every month brought a new extension, and 11-03 and 11-05 each added one more.
9. What others can learn
- "High-friction government forms + local wallet pay-per-use + high-priced paperwork downstream": form filling only earns pennies, while the real money comes from what the same user buys next (demo air tickets, hotel bookings, notarization, trade licenses).
- Traffic from news videos: whenever policy changes (visa resumption, slot rules, new medical visa rules), publish Shorts and explainer videos in the local language right away, with the pinned comment linking the tool. The cost is close to zero, and it captures search traffic around policy news.
- Pick topics that follow policy changes: rule changes like "it used to be first-come, now it's assigned by submission order" turn manual form filling into a must-have for automation. When a similar change happens in another country's visa or government portal, the same approach can be used to find opportunities (eVisaFlow is the counterexample: with no policy event behind it and no local wallet, it never took off).
10. Still unclear
- flyticket's real transaction volume and the "50K+ users" claim are unverified; how many extension users pay, and the conversion rate from ৳2 to ৳100 paperwork, are unknown.
- Whether "demo air ticket / hotel" is only for visas and not a real ticket, and whether there is compliance risk, has not been investigated in depth.
- User numbers for BDBoyz and TS Autofill were not obtained.
- Whether the Indian visa centers' capacity will expand further, and whether India-Bangladesh relations will swing back, will directly shape demand in this category.
