Muse Automation - Auto Muse on Muse.ai · kylenguyen.me

Meta launched Muse 21 days ago, and a Hanoi developer had already plugged in his batch template

What it is A Chrome extension: you paste in a list of prompts, and it generates videos and images on muse.ai one by one, retries failures, and downloads them numbered in order.

Why it took off Meta released Muse in Sep 8 with no official batch entry point. The developer spent three weeks adapting the same code he'd already validated on Grok, Flow and Meta AI, and used the related-extension placements of his other plugins, his website and YouTube tutorials to bring in the first users.

CHow you could follow it Don't focus only on Muse. Copy his pipeline: write a platform-agnostic batch-generation core, and as soon as a new AI generation platform launches (especially regional ones he hasn't covered), ship a single-platform "Auto X" extension within three weeks, then drive users with tutorial videos and an all-in-one subscription.

C grade: the playbook is worth learning, but the Muse niche is small (only four countries, and the free quota of a week covers only a few dozen generations). It's already taken by a developer who can follow within three weeks and has a matrix of hundreds of thousands of users, plus TobyFlow. A single extension at $3 a month won't make money, so copying it isn't worth it. Hardly anyone knows about it yet

2,000 users · rating 5.0 (5)

Muse Automation is a Chrome extension that lets Meta's Muse (muse.ai) batch-generate videos and images from a whole list of prompts, then download them automatically by number. It was listed in Sep 29, and by Nov 6 it had 2,000 users and a 5.0 rating. Looking at this extension alone won't teach you much. The playbook behind it is what's worth studying: the same person, using the same code, has already built one each for Grok, Flow, Meta AI and Vibes, roughly 390k users combined. Whenever a new AI generation platform launches, he's caught up within three weeks.

A reply saying "Yes it free"

In Oct 2026 1, the YouTube channel "Truong Nguyen | AI Automation Tools" posted an English tutorial, "Muse Automation User Guide." Its description opens with "Stop typing prompts one by one." By Nov 6, the video had 4,026 views and 19 likes (YouTube, 11-06).

The first comment question came the same day: "Is Muse free?" The author, @trgkyle, replied "Yes it free." Another person asked in Oct 7: can you generate unlimited free Veo, Muse and Grok with your extension? He replied: "Veo and Grok cost money now, Muse is free." A comment in Nov 2 sounded most like a real user: someone manually stitched several clips into one 60-second video and asked for a "10 sec / 20 sec / 60 sec" duration option in the extension, because "in the end I just want to download one finished file."

These comments pretty much define its users: people who want free Muse generation quota, short-video reposters who need to make many clips at once, and content account operators.

What it is

Truong Nguyen is an individual developer in Hanoi and is not registered as a merchant in the store. Muse is Meta's personal agent, launched in Sep 2026 8. It supports text-to-video, image-to-video and text-to-image, but each job has to be submitted by hand, one at a time. This extension turns it into a pipeline:

  • Paste prompts directly, or import .txt, .xlsx or .csv files, and queue dozens or hundreds at once. Jobs can run in sequence or several at a time;
  • Supports text-to-video, first-frame-to-video, and composing video from multiple reference images. A Concat mode chains several prompts into one longer video;
  • Random delays (the store page says this "reduces rate limiting"), automatic retries on failure, and automatic downloads when generation finishes;
  • Downloads are saved in folders by project, with file numbers matching the prompt order. A sidebar shows progress, and the interface is available in 6 languages: English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Spanish.

The store page describes the audience as "content creators and AI video and image producers." The version is now 1.0.6, and updates were still shipping as of Nov 3.

Why this one, and why now

Timing. Muse launched in the US in Sep 8, expanded to Canada in Sep 18, and to Japan and Singapore in late October. The extension was listed in Sep 29, before the official batch entry point existed and before any similar extension for muse.ai was in the store.

Ready-made code. Queues, imports, concurrency, random delays, retries, numbered downloads and sidebar progress were all already running in his Grok Automation (100k users), Veo / Flow Automation (100k), Meta AI Automation (70k) and Vibes Automation (50k) (Chrome Web Store, November). Moving to a new platform mostly means re-adapting the page buttons and interfaces, which is why it could ship in three weeks.

The demand was hyped from outside. Pakistani creator Fayyaz Ahmed posted "Muse AI Video Generator FREE & Unlimited" in Oct 3, covering how to sign up for Muse and how to claim "1B tokens." By Nov 6 it had 64k views and 375 comments (YouTube, 11-06). The comments came from users in South Asia, Latin America and the Middle East asking about VPNs, whether age verification needs a US credit card, and why they're stuck on the waitlist. The group that wants to mass-produce content on free quota clearly exists, and batch tools are built for them. However, we found no third-party video directly recommending Muse Automation.

Where users come from

Almost entirely from things he already had:

  • His other extensions by the same developer. On the Chrome Web Store, detail pages for sibling extensions like Qwen, Vids, ChatGPT, Seedance, Gemini and Vibes list Muse Automation under "related extensions." The homepage of his site kylenguyen.me lists more than a dozen extensions, with Muse third, behind Grok and Veo.
  • His own YouTube channel. 3,200 subscribers and about 118k total views. From Oct 1 to 16 he posted 9 English "User Guide" videos in one burst, each with the store link in its description. The channel's older traffic came mainly from early Vietnamese VEO tutorials (43k views) and Grok tutorials (31k).
  • Search terms. The extension is named "Auto X on X.ai," which matches the terms people use when searching for auto muse or muse.ai automation. Search "Auto Muse chrome extension" and it ranks first.
  • Not seen. Nobody on X has mentioned his name in the last 90 days, and there's no press coverage, Reddit thread or ad.

The two reviews visible in the store are both from Vietnamese names ("Impressive productivity boost," "Great"). With 2,000 users there are only 5 ratings. The first people to rate it were probably from his own circle (inference).

Where the money comes from

The extension itself is free. The money is collected on the website. The pricing page on kylenguyen.me (10-21 version) sells an all-in-one bundle: $3 a month, $7 for three months, or $25 a year, paid once with no auto-renewal, covering all his extensions. The page says in the author's own words: "These extensions used to be 100% free. I switched to paid for more features and fewer bugs. If you're not happy, I'll refund you."

It's unclear whether Muse is behind the paywall: the pricing page lists Grok, Veo, Meta AI, Vids and ChatGPT but doesn't mention Muse, and in a comment in Oct 7 the author said "Muse is free." Revenue isn't public. At $3 a month, he likely makes money from the total across a dozen-plus extensions and hundreds of thousands of users, not from the Muse extension alone with 2,000 users (inference).

Muse's own agentMetaUsers in the US, Canada, Japan and SingaporeIn theory the agent can run long jobs itself, but there's no "batch-render a prompt list, download numbered files" entry point

A Chrome extension dedicated to batch generation on muse.ai. I've only found this one and TobyFlow. Nobody's crowding in, but the space was never big to begin with.

The ceiling is Muse itself

Muse is only open in the US, Canada, Japan and Singapore, and requires an age check of 18+. In the comments on Fayyaz's video, about half the people can't get in even with a VPN. The free tier is roughly 100M tokens a week, and someone tested it: one video burns 2% to 3% of a week's free quota. So a free account can only run 30 to 40 videos a week, and batch tools hit the cap fast. From Nov 1 to 6, the user count stayed flat at 2,000 (daily Chrome Web Store figures).

Another risk: random delays and automatic retries are already a fight against the platform's rate limits. If Meta tightens its anti-abuse controls or changes the page, the extension can break at any time.

If it were you

In short: don't build a dedicated Muse batch extension. The space is small, and someone who can follow within three weeks already holds it. What's worth copying is his pipeline: a new AI platform launches → templates within three weeks → one extension per platform to own the search terms → a cheap bundle of everything.

Who it suits: indie devs who can write Chrome extensions and will watch AI generation platform announcements every day; ideally someone with one or two extensions already running that can send traffic to a new one.

Who it doesn't suit: anyone hoping to earn from one extension alone. $3 a month with a few thousand users per platform won't pay anyone's rent. It's also a bad fit for anyone who can't stand patching overnight every time a platform redesigns.

How to build it: first write a platform-agnostic core of "prompt list → submit → wait → retry → download numbered files", then write one thin page-adapter layer per platform. Start with platforms he hasn't covered or covers slowly: newly launched video and image generators, regional platforms (say, generation tools open only in China, Korea or India), or features he lacks, like the "fixed duration, auto-stitch into one long video" that commenters keep asking for. Publish each platform as its own extension, named "Auto X".

How to get users: pair each extension with a three-minute English tutorial and put the link in the description. Go to the comments on "[some AI] free unlimited" tutorial videos and work with those creators; their audiences are the ones who most need batch output. Cross-promote all the extensions, and sell one bundle subscription.

When the window closes: the window is per platform. The first three or four weeks after a new platform launches are worth the most. After that, he or a multi-platform extension like TobyFlow will have claimed the spot.

Signs you've misread it: if Muse Automation and TobyFlow both stay flat over the next month, it means demand for "batch content on free quota" can't support single-platform extensions. Or if Meta ships an official batch feature or API for Muse, these extensions lose their reason to exist.

Muse Automation - Auto Muse on Muse.ai(Chrome, jjcigbgkfmobiegbfipoaolediphpljp)

Research date 2026-11-06. Data comes from the chromestore database (daily snapshots from 2026-11-01), the Chrome Web Store pages, kylenguyen.me, the YouTube Data API, Meta's press release and third-party articles. Anything without a source is marked "Inferred".

One line

A Chrome extension by Truong Nguyen (@trgkyle, kylenguyen.me), an indie developer in Hanoi, Vietnam. It turns text-to-video, image-to-video and text-to-image in Muse, the personal agent Meta launched at muse.ai on 2026-09-08, into a batch pipeline. Paste or import .txt/.xlsx/.csv prompts, queue them or submit in parallel, with random delays to avoid rate limits, automatic retries on failure, numbered downloads in prompt order, and per-project folders. It's one of more than ten "Auto X on Y" extensions from this developer.

Verdict

It wasn't built from scratch. It's a proven template, copied once more onto a new platform. Meta launched Muse on 9-08; the developer 21 days later (9-29) had the existing batch-automation template running on muse.ai, and posted a YouTube tutorial on 10-01. Distribution runs through his own extension matrix: 390k users, one shared website, and store related-items slots that cross-link, plus the same tutorial channel. The product itself is nearly identical to its Grok, Flow and Meta siblings. 2,000 users is small within that matrix. Muse is open in only four countries (US, Canada, Japan, Singapore) and its free quota resets weekly, so the ceiling on batch demand is low. It's a piece of the matrix, not a hit.

1. Data

  • Users and ratings: 2,000 users, 5.0 stars, 5 ratings. 2026-11-01 had 4 ratings; from 11-04 it's 5. User count stayed at 2,000 from 11-01 to 11-06 (chromestore database item_snap, sourced from related-item cards).
  • Listed 2026-09-29, version 1.0.6,2026-11-03 updated (store page).
  • Recall data (extops, not independently verified): +1,789 users over 30 days; 10-19 to 1,000,11-01 to 2,000.
  • The only visible store reviews are two English ones: "Hai nam, Nov 1: Impressive productivity boost" and "Hải Giáp, Oct 6: Great". Both are Vietnamese names (store reviews page). With 2,000 users and only 5 ratings, and raters with Vietnamese names, the early ratings probably came from acquaintances or insiders (inferred).
  • The tutorial "Muse Automation User Guide" (2026-10-01) has 4,026 views, 19 likes and 7 comments (YouTube Data API, 2026-11-06). The comments ask "Is Muse free?", "Can you generate unlimited for free with your extension?", and one person wants a 10–60 second duration option.

Bottom line: among Chrome extensions on muse.ai that specialize in batch generation, the library only has this one and TobyFlow (chromestore full-text search for "muse"). Almost nobody builds this, but the pool itself is small.

3. Where users come from (growth levers)

  1. Traffic from the same developer's extension matrix (confirmed): in the chromestore library, this extension was pulled from the "related extensions" slots on the detail pages of sibling extensions Qwen / Vids / ChatGPT / Seedance / Gemini / Vibes (the related table). Google places same-developer extensions with the same structure next to each other. The official site kylenguyen.me lists 13 extensions on its homepage; Muse ranks third, right after Grok (100k) and Veo/Flow (100k). Payment is one bundle: $3 / 1 months, $7 / 3 months, $25 / 1 years, one-time payment with no auto-renewal, covering all extensions (kylenguyen.me/pricing, page time 2026-10-21; the recalled card says $4/month and $20/year, which may be old prices). A user who already bought one bundle can use the new extension directly.
  2. Own YouTube tutorials (confirmed): channel "Truong Nguyen | AI Automation Tools" (VN, 3,200 subscribers, 118k total views). From 2026-10-01 to 10-16 it posted 9 English "User Guide" videos; the Muse one has 4,026 views. The channel's main traffic still comes from the early Vietnamese VEO (43,375) and Grok (30,918) tutorials. The Muse tutorial description links straight to the store.
  4. Store search terms (inferred): the title "Muse Automation - Auto Muse on Muse.ai" uses this developer's standard "Auto X on X.ai" pattern, which claims searches like auto muse / muse.ai automation; in a Jina search for "Auto Muse chrome extension" it ranks first.
  5. X / Reddit / media / paid acquisition: x-radar found no relevant posts for "muse automation" in the last 60 days; searching kylenguyen gave 0 posts in the last 90 days. No media coverage found, and no evidence of ads.

4. Why it made the list

  • Timing: Muse launched 9-08, and the extension went live 9-29. It claimed its spot while the new platform was just opening and had no official batch entry point (about.fb.com; store listing date).
  • Template reuse: the same code, with "queue, import, concurrency, random delays, retries, numbered downloads, sidebar progress, 6 languages", was already validated on Grok (100k), Flow (100k), Meta (70k), and Vibes (50k) (chromestore library). The marginal cost of switching platforms is low, which is why it could ship in three weeks.
  • Matrix distribution: the store's related slots, the website, the YouTube channel, and the bundle subscription are all ready-made, so cold start costs nothing.
  • Low ceiling: Muse is open in only four countries, plus 18+ verification; the free tier is roughly 100M tokens per week, and useapi.net measured one video consuming 2–3% of the free weekly quota (laozhang blog citing useapi.net). Batch-running dozens of videos hits the cap, so 2,000 users and flat numbers into early November make sense.

5. Differentiation

Functionally it doesn't differ fundamentally from its sibling extensions or TobyFlow. Only two things set it apart: first, it's among the first, most straightforwardly named single-platform batch tools on muse.ai; second, behind it is a matrix of a dozen-plus extensions with 390k users and a bundle starting at $3. This isn't product differentiation, it's an advantage in distribution and copying speed, and that is why it reached 2,000 users.

6. How many people can see it

Few people know about it yet. No media coverage, 0 posts on X, revenue not public (TrustMRR has no record for kylenguyen.me), and only the developer's own tutorial with 4k views. However, this developer's overall approach (Flow / Grok at 100k each) is public in the Flow automation niche, and competitor reports list him as a leader (see the two reports chrome_aedhekmakfgbcknofpiccffacdjcgdpp and chrome_ofcjfaafnopakfhchdjcippkjdbcalap from the same batch).

7. What's worth borrowing

  • Turn "batch prompts → automatic generation → numbered downloads" into a platform-agnostic template, and within three weeks of any AI generation platform launching, wrap it in that template, with one extension per platform, each claiming its own "Auto X" search term.
  • Lower the payment barrier with a one-time bundle ($3/month onward, no auto-renewal), and cross-sell new extensions to existing users.
  • Pair each extension with a 3-minute English User Guide, link it in the description, and use older hit videos on the channel to drive traffic to new ones.

VIII. Unknowns

  • We can't verify extops's growth curve (10-19 to 1k, 11-01 to 2k) from our library; the library shows 11-01 to 11-06 as flat.
  • We don't know how much of the Muse extension converts to paid; the bundle price and the $4 / $20 on the recalled card don't match.
  • We haven't verified when TobyFlow added Muse support; the user scale of useapi.net and LaoZhang is unknown.
  • We don't know which countries the users come from. The reviews carry Vietnamese names and Muse is limited to four countries, so it's likely Vietnamese and South Asian users running it through VPNs (inferred).
  • Meta's risk controls on automation or batch submission, or a UI redesign, could break the extension at any time.
