UnReposter - Repost Remover for TikTok & Instagram · unreposter.com

A 2.13M-follower "delet dis" creator pushed it twice: the bulk-delete repost business, UnReposter came too late

What it is A Chrome extension that pulls every repost from the TikTok / Instagram web pages you're logged into at once, lets you select them, and deletes them in bulk. It's the desktop version of a phone app of the same name from Istanbul's Stockimg AI.

Why it took off It barely did: 9 to 10 extra users a day, mainly from related-product recommendations on rival extension pages and guide pages on the official site ("how to delete reposts on PC"). Most of the traffic from the two promo posts by a 2.13M-follower creator in 8 and September (1.66M views combined) most likely went to phones.

CHow you could follow Don't build another bulk repost-deleter. Take the "free quota + weekly subscription + lifetime one-time purchase" model, and the "invite codes that unlock quota by having users post videos" approach, and apply them to a "one-time cleanup" need on a platform nobody is seriously serving yet.

C grade: the need is real, but ClearTok already has 2.68M installs and an invite-code network, and dozens of copycats exist on both phone and Chrome. Even UnReposter, which paid big creators, couldn't get going. There's also the risk that TikTok adds the feature itself or changes its API and the whole category goes to zero. What's worth learning is the acquisition playbook, not the product. Still little known

929 users · rating 5.0 (1)

UnReposter is a Chrome extension that, inside the TikTok or Instagram web page you're already logged into, pulls every video you've reposted and deletes the ones you select in bulk. It was listed at the end of July, reached 929 users by Nov 6, and adds 9 to 10 a day. The need is real, but the category was already taken by a product called ClearTok, and UnReposter is picking up what's left. Anyone who wants to copy it can learn two acquisition tricks from it, but it's not worth entering this category again.

A person who says "delet dis"

In Aug 2026 13, TikTok creator @heyselcuk.mp4 posted a video with a single line of caption: "unreposter.com - remove all your reposts with one click". He has 2.13M followers, and his bio is a deliberately misspelled English line: "hello bradar, pak u bradar. wat is dis comet, delet dis." ("what is this comment, delete this"). His running joke is literally "delete it", so pushing a repost-deleting tool fits perfectly.

As of Nov 6, this video has 750k views and 52k likes. On Sep 9 he posted another one for unreposter.com, with 910k views. The comments barely talk about the product; they're all riffing on his joke. The top comment, with 7,435 likes, is "No bradar don't unrepost". Someone else seriously says "yeah bro it ain't gon unrepost my 120k reposts in an hour" (my 120k reposts, it's not deleting those in an hour).

Combined, the two videos got 1.66M views. Given his follower count and such a direct caption, this was likely paid promotion, though there's no disclosure found (inference). But the extension barely moved: around 31 in Aug 290 users, 6 929 in Nov. Most traffic likely went to phones: its official site puts App Store, Google Play and Chrome download buttons side by side, and TikTok viewers are mostly on mobile (inference).

Who made it

The developer is Stockimg AI from Istanbul (STOCKIMG AI YAZILIM TEKNOLOJILERI A.S.), a company making small AI tools. The same entity also shipped NoAI, Saveboard and OpenCookie on Chrome in November 3 and 4, and LingoCall AI, FollowTok and GirlyMaps on iOS. It's a small studio pumping out tools in batches.

UnReposter started as a mobile app: on iOS it was listed 22 May, and now has 252 ratings at 4.6 stars; the Android version has 100K+ downloads and 3.5 stars (Google Play, 11-06). The Chrome extension only launched in Jul 28, and Instagram support was added in the 1.1.1 version on Oct 30. Put simply, the extension is a cheap extra entry point for a mobile app that has already been validated.

Why users want it

TikTok reposts can only be undone one at a time. After a year or two of scrolling, a repost tab can pile up hundreds or thousands of entries, and clearing them means tapping each one by hand. ClearTok says on its site that US users removed 36M reposts in a single month, about 782 each (cleartok.io, 9-26).

The idea itself was already spreading on TikTok. In July 2025, a video captioned "it's now your sign to delete all your reposts and restart your life" got 11.2M views; in August, "What tutorial you need next? #reposts" got 16.6M views.

The extension's store page makes the selling points clear: no password, no upload, it runs inside your own logged-in session; it pulls everything at once with thumbnails; before deleting you can save covers and links locally; and deletion automatically slows down, "because rapid-fire calls to these endpoints are the easiest way to get your account temporarily rate-limited". The free tier deletes 100 per platform per day, paid 1,000 per day; the site lists $4.99 for a week or $19.99 for lifetime.

The weekly subscription fits the use case well: users come to do a one-off cleanup. But the paywall is also a source of bad reviews. A one-star App Store review from June: "Can only delete 100 items, and it doesn't even let you choose, it just forces you into their scam subscription." Another: "Only one at a time. We could build this ourselves without your app."

Who it's competing with: one leader, dozens of copycats

Data from the Chrome Web Store, Google Play, and the App Store, 11-06. On iOS, after 2026 in 5 through September, 20 more apps with nearly identical names and features showed up: WipeTok, UnTok, ResetTok, RepostWipe, TokZero, Repostless, and so on. Most have fewer than 100 ratings.

ClearTok wins on one design choice: when free uses run out, you get more by entering someone else's invite code. So users make the videos themselves and post the codes. "Use Cleartok to remove all your repost, use my code to get more free clean" got 1.82M views (@v3iled.angel, 8-19), and another got 2.32M (@jmliveisnow, 7-23). The official account's tutorial got 5.55M views. It doesn't buy traffic. Its users pay for it.

RepostZap took a different route. From September to November, new throwaway TikTok accounts kept posting the same line every day: "new app to unrepost all my repost here on tt #repostzapapp #repostzap." Each post got dozens to tens of thousands of views, and in three months it added 190k installs.

UnReposter's edge is one panel that manages both TikTok and Instagram, backs up before deleting, supports 18 languages, and offers a lifetime purchase. Others have these too: RepostCleanup covers TikTok, Instagram, and X; ClearTok has a sister product, ClearIns, for Instagram; DeleteTik can export. The difference didn't turn into growth.

Where those 929 users came from

Creators mostly sent people to phones. The extension's own traffic has two visible sources.

The first is the Chrome Web Store's "related extensions" section. On the detail pages of 5 similar extensions, including ClearTok, Reposts Remover for TikTok, and Unrepostify, UnReposter appears at #3 to #10. Anyone who checks the leader may see it. The placement costs nothing and brings traffic every day.

The second is the guides on the official site. unreposter.com has a set of TikTok repost Q&A pages: how to delete reposts, what to do when deletion fails, who can see your reposts, how to delete them on a computer. They were published in batches in Jul 25 and Oct 20, and each page has three download buttons. "How to delete TikTok reposts on PC" is exactly the search that sends people to a Chrome extension.

I found no evidence that it has run Meta ads (not finding them doesn't mean it didn't). No one discusses it on X, Reddit, or in the media.

If it were you

C: Worth learning from, but don't enter this category. Deleting TikTok reposts is a real need, but ClearTok already holds the leading spot. On mobile, the category is crowded with RepostZap, UnRepostAll, Unrepostify, and more than twenty identically named apps. Even UnReposter, which paid 2.13M-follower creators to push it twice, has only 929 Chrome users.

Who it fits: a small team that already has a mobile tool app and wants a cheap computer entry point. Follow UnReposter's approach: add a Chrome extension and a set of SEO guide pages. You could finish it in one to two weeks.

Who it doesn't fit: someone starting from scratch with "bulk delete reposts." The feature has no barrier to entry, so followers won't get the leader's invite-code network or millions of installs. Also, the whole category relies on calling platform APIs inside the user's logged-in session. If TikTok ever ships bulk undo or changes its APIs, the whole category goes down together (inference).

How to do it: apply the two plays here to a "one-time cleanup" need that isn't crowded yet. The platform only lets users act one item at a time, and users accumulate hundreds or thousands of items. Examples: bulk unfollow, clear likes, clear saves, clear old posts. Move the idea to platforms no one is seriously working on, such as Instagram, Pinterest, or YouTube. Offer a free tier plus a $4.99 weekly subscription and a lifetime one-time purchase. The free tier has to actually be usable. Don't do what UnReposter's mobile version did, deleting one item at a time. That is where the one-star reviews come from.

How to get users: first copy ClearTok's invite codes. When free uses run out, users enter a code for more, and they post the videos themselves. Then copy UnReposter's creator selection: find a creator whose persona already matches your feature (it looked for "delet dis"). On Chrome, get into the related-extensions section of similar extensions' detail pages, and write guide pages titled "how to … on PC."

When to move before: there is no clear deadline. The window closes once a similar product on the platform you picked starts gaining traction through invite codes on TikTok.

What would show I got it wrong: ① UnReposter's Chrome users pass 5,000 before December, which would mean the category still has room on desktop and I rated C too low; ② TikTok officially ships bulk repost removal, the whole category drops to zero, and only the playbook is worth learning; ③ ClearTok's weekly growth on Google Play falls from 200k to tens of thousands, which would mean the demand is a passing fad, so check whether other "cleanup" needs are fads too before pursuing them.

Where users come from
  • Verified Chrome Web Store "related extensions" recommendation: from the chromestore related table. The detail pages of 5 extensions, including ClearTok, Reposts Remover for TikTok, and Unrepostify, list it at #3–10.
  • Verified SEO guide site plus parent company blog: unreposter.com/guides has 8+ TikTok repost Q&A pages (including "how to delete on PC"), each with download links for three platforms. The stockimg.ai blog has traffic-driving posts.
  • Verified Cross-promotion across mobile apps: the official site links to the App Store, Play, and Chrome. The Play parent app has 100k+ downloads.
  • Inferred TikTok creators / throwaway accounts: searching TikHub for "unreposter" turned up no promo videos, the @unreposter account doesn't exist, and the Stockimg official account has never posted about it. In this category, ClearTok uses invite codes and RepostZap uses a throwaway-account matrix.
  • Inferred Paid ads: the metaads library has no ads from this advertiser (it only tracks a fixed list of products, so absence doesn't prove they didn't run ads).

UnReposter - Repost Remover for TikTok & Instagram (Chrome extension)

Research date 2026-11-06. Sources: our chromestore / googleplay / appstore / metaads libraries (agent-im server), Chrome Web Store / Google Play / App Store pages, unreposter.com, cleartok.io, TikHub (TikTok search), and Jina search.

Bottom line

It didn't break out on its own. It is the computer version of the mobile app UnReposter (100k+ Play downloads, 252 iOS ratings), made by Stockimg AI in Istanbul, and it does bulk deletion of TikTok reposts. This category has been driven for 2026 years by ClearTok (2.68M Play installs, 80k Chrome users, claims 2.2M connected accounts and 1B reposts deleted), and it's crowded with followers. This extension adds about 9–10 users a day, mostly from in-store search, the "related extensions" section, and traffic from the official site's SEO pages. I found no creators, ads, or community promotion of its own. It is one of the followers, and a low-ranked one.

1. What the product is

  • A side panel extension. It pulls all your reposts from your own logged-in tiktok.com or instagram.com session, displays them in a thumbnail grid, and lets you select all or some for bulk deletion. Deletion is throttled to avoid account rate limits. It supports "Save & Delete" (saving covers and links before deleting), 18 languages, and light and dark themes (per the Chrome Web Store description).
  • Pricing: the free plan allows 100 deletions per platform per day. Premium allows 1000 per day with unlimited backups, paid via Paddle. The official site lists $4.99/week or $19.99 lifetime (unreposter.com/pricing).
  • Published 2026-07-28; v1.1.1 updated 2026-10-30, adding Instagram (data card).
  • Developer: STOCKIMG AI YAZILIM TEKNOLOJILERI A.S (EU trader). The same entity has NoAI, Saveboard, and OpenCookie on Chrome, which launched 3–4 November, and LingoCall AI, FollowTok, GirlyMaps, and others on iOS (chromestore developer table, appstore library). The play is a small tool studio running a batch-and-matrix strategy.

Bottom line: there's no such thing as a "no competitor" niche. UnReposter ranks around #10 on Chrome.

4. Growth tactics

  • Category level, organic TikTok referrals with invite codes (ClearTok): ClearTok users post videos saying "use my code for free extra credits," with 1.82M, 1.35M and 170k views (@v3iled.angel, @winterzii_, @user102988892929). The official account's tutorial got 5.55M views (TikHub search, 2026-11-06).
  • Category level, alt-account swarms (RepostZap): TikTok is full of new accounts posting the same line, "new app to unrepost all my repost here on tt #repostzapapp #repostzap," every day from September to November, with single posts ranging from a few dozen to 52k views. That's classic paid UGC or alt-account spam.
  • Category level, the need itself is spreading on TikTok: for example "it's now your sign to delete all your reposts and restart your life" with 11.2M views (2025-07), and "What tutorial you need next? #reposts" with 16.6M views (2025-08).
  • UnReposter itself:
    • SEO content sites: unreposter.com has a set of TikTok repost guide pages (how to delete, what to do if you can't, who can see them, how to delete from a computer, and so on, published 7-25 and 10-20), each linking directly to the App Store, Play and Chrome listings. A stockimg.ai blog post also funnels traffic. Confirmed.
    • In-store referrals: the chromestore related table shows UnReposter appearing in the "related extensions" section of the detail pages of 5 extensions, including ClearTok, Reposts Remover for TikTok and Unrepostify (positions 3–10). This is most likely its main source on Chrome. Confirmed.
    • Cross-promotion from the mobile parent: the website lists all three platforms side by side, and an Instagram reel points to unreposter.com. Confirmed, volume unknown.
    • TikTok: searching "unreposter" turns up no promo videos; the @unreposter account doesn't exist; Stockimg's own TikTok account (36k followers) has never posted about UnReposter. Nothing found.
    • Ads: the metaads library has no related advertiser (the library only tracks products on its list, so no result doesn't mean no ads). Unconfirmed.
    • X / Reddit / media: x-radar finds nothing in the last 90 days; there are no Reddit threads dedicated to it.

5. Why people install it (rather than it "taking off")

  1. The demand is real and large: TikTok has no bulk repost deletion; ClearTok's data shows US users removed 36M reposts in one month, about 782 per person (cleartok.io).
  2. There's demand on desktop too: similar Chrome extensions together have over 400k users. "How to delete TikTok reposts on a computer" is a search people actually make, and UnReposter wrote a guide page for exactly that.
  3. It lives off the traffic next to the leader: the store's "related extensions" recommendations plus SEO pages bring in roughly 10 new users a day.
  4. Its parent is a mobile app (100k+ downloads), and the Chrome extension is just an extra door. The recall card says "the Chrome side is a fledgling entry point," but in that entry point the leader already has 80k to 300k users.

6. Differentiation

  • It does TikTok and Instagram from one sidebar (Instagram added repost support 2025 years ago), backs up before deleting (Save & Delete), supports 18 languages, caps daily deletions and stresses that the limit protects your account, and sells a lifetime one-time purchase at $19.99.
  • But none of this is unique: RepostCleanup covers three platforms; ClearTok has ClearIns for Instagram, and it's free; DeleteTik can export. These differences haven't driven growth. Its user growth trails RepostZap and ClearTok by several orders of magnitude. Differentiation isn't why it grows; its growth comes from category spillover.

7. Visibility and copycats

  • Exposure: UnReposter itself is almost unknown. No media coverage, no big X accounts, no public revenue. But the category is widely discussed: ClearTok has publicly shared data on 1B posts and 2.2M accounts, TikTok has tutorials with tens of millions of views, and on iOS, 2026 years and 5 to September saw 20 similarly named apps appear. This is a crowded niche.
  • Copycats: UnReposter is itself a copycat. After it came RepostZap (launched the same week), Repostless, AutoTok, EraseTok, Tik UnRepost and a long list more.

8. Takeaways

  • Porting a task-based tool across platforms: once the mobile app validated the need, a Chrome extension plus an SEO guide site opened a second door for very little cost.
  • Appearing in the "related extensions" section of the category leader's store page is free, steady referral traffic.
  • The real growth engine is the TikTok playbook: ClearTok's "invite code for credits" gets users to post videos on their own, and RepostZap uses alt-account swarms to flood the feed. UnReposter did neither, which is why it grows slowly.
  • A single-job tool selling a weekly subscription at $4.99 plus a lifetime option at $19.99: users come to do one big cleanup, and a weekly plan fits that moment.

9. Uncertain

  • The 8/31 users come from extops, as reported in the recall card; our own snapshots only begin on 290 11-01.
  • Play 100k+ growth curve unclear: the googleplay library doesn't have this package and it has never charted.
  • Whether it runs ads on Meta or TikTok is unknown (our ad library doesn't track it).
  • Revenue unknown. The Chrome user base is too small for revenue to matter.
