> Vietnamese undergrad theses and student research need hundreds of survey samples that real people can't fill. It took the competitors' per-question, per-response billing, switched to a 89k VND unlimited-per-day pass, drew people in with TikTok videos about "where to find people to fill 300 samples" (20k views on one video), and then used a "five stars gets 150 free fills" campaign to break the store rating wall in two weeks.

# "One survey needs 300 responses": Auto Khảo Sát, a Vietnamese survey-spamming Chrome extension for university students. 5 months, 2,000 users, won with 89k-a-day package

**What it is** A Vietnamese-language Chrome extension: you set the answer ratios for each question, and it submits Google Forms one after another in your browser, filling hundreds of survey samples in minutes. It also sells a manual fill-in service.

**Why it took off** Vietnamese undergraduate theses and student research need hundreds of survey samples, which real people can't fill. It turned the per-question, per-response fees charged by peers into an unlimited-use day pass for 89k VND, used TikTok videos about "who fills your 300 samples" (20k views on one clip) to draw users, then used "five-star rating gets 150 free uses" to push its store rating up within two weeks.

**C** **How you could follow it** Don't enter Vietnam, which Survify and others have already filled. Go to markets like the Philippines, India, Turkey, or Latin America, where theses require survey samples and local-language versions aren't well built. Copy the day/week/lifetime tier pricing and the fill-in service, use TikTok in the voice of local students to acquire users, and list before thesis season.

Grade C: the pricing, fill-in service, and review-boosting tactics are worth learning, but Vietnam is already crowded with rivals who have around 50,000 students, prices are low, the features can be copied within a week, and it sells fabricated samples, so the risks of store takedown and Google blocking persist. Few people know about it yet

2,000 users · rating 5.0 (125)

Auto Khảo Sát - Pro is a Vietnamese-language Chrome extension: you set the answer ratios for each question, and it submits Google Forms one after another in your own browser, filling hundreds of samples in minutes. Its buyers are Vietnamese university students who must submit theses and student research (NCKH). Others were already doing this business in Vietnam, with plenty of web tools and fill-in services. It launched in June, and by November had 2,000 users and a 5.0 rating. It got there by packaging the same functionality as an extension, selling unlimited use by the day, and pushing with a few TikToks and a "five stars for free credits" campaign. Below: how it took off, where the money comes from, and whether the idea can work in another country.

### A video with 20k views

On 2026 Sep 17, the TikTok account @autokhaosat.com posted a 2.5-minute video tagged only #StudyTips #nckh #sinhvien. It opens with this line (burned-in subtitles, 11-06):

"There's an interesting thing about student research: many topics look new, but when you read closely you feel you've seen them somewhere before. 'Satisfaction of Ho Chi Minh City students with a certain factor...' Change the subject, the location, the brand, tweak a few variables, and it's a new topic."

He goes on to say that this isn't bad in itself, since student research is meant for practice: find literature, build models, design surveys, collect data, run SPSS. "The problem is the data collection step. One topic needs 300 samples. You post on Facebook and in groups, and eventually you start private messaging: hey, help me fill out this survey. Your friend opens a Google Form with dozens of questions, 'agree, agree, strongly agree, agree,' and a minute later replies: done." His last line is the product pitch: "That's the part I think can be automated, and it's why I built Auto Khảo Sát." He closes with a disclaimer: if your research really needs to reflect real behavior, no tool can replace real data.

By Nov 6, the video had 20,905 views and 737 likes (TikHub). The comments are blunt: "Will the submission times spread out? What if the teacher checks submission times?" "The answers will be duplicates, can you make them a bit random?" "After buying a plan, can I switch to another computer?"

The account has 8 videos and 449 followers. Its two other videos from July drew 15,185 and 14,237 views. The view counts aren't large, but they reach a very specific crowd: Vietnamese university students gathering samples with deadlines approaching.

### What it is

You install the extension, open a Google Form, and set ratios for each question in the extension, for example question 3 "Strongly agree" 40%, "Agree" 35%, then choose how many submissions and how long between them. You can also import a CSV to fill by table. It doesn't need edit access to the form, and submission happens in your own browser, so you don't hand the survey link to a third-party site. The official homepage says "No more manual surveys" and "Fast, easy, 100% automatic."

Put simply, it's a tool that batch-generates survey responses to match the distribution you want. The website and video describe it as for "testing forms, generating simulated data, practicing SPSS," but the comments make clear people are using it to hand in coursework.

### Where the money comes from: selling time in the extension, and selling fill-in service outside it

The store listing says "Contains in-app purchases". You sign in with a Google account, and payment happens on the website (autokhaosat.com/Bang-gia, 11-06):

| Tier | Pricing | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 0 | Limited uses, incomplete features |
| Pro 1 days | 89,000 VND (about $3.4) | Unlimited uses for 24 hours |
| Pro 7 days | 129,000 (crossed-out original 299,000, "early bird price") | Unlimited uses for 7 days |
| Pro lifetime | 399,000 (crossed-out original 599,000, about $15) | Use forever |

"No auto-renewal, pay once." There is also a separate line: "full-service fill-in," where you state your needs and the team fills forms to any quantity and builds datasets to spec. The homepage says "any quantity, any deadline." Inviting friends returns 30% commission, but commission can only be spent on plans in the in-site wallet.

Comparing peers' pricing shows why it sells well: tudongkhaosat.com charges per question. For surveys of 6–10 questions it's 300 VND per question, and above 16 questions it's 100 per question. Manual fill-in quotes in Facebook groups commonly run "200 responses for 200k VND". A survey of 30 questions needs 300 responses, which at tudongkhaosat's rates comes to roughly 900k VND (my estimate from the official prices). Buying one day of Auto Khảo Sát at 89k before the deadline is enough.

Revenue is completely undisclosed. How many of the 2,000 users paid, and how many fill-in orders were taken, is not visible from outside. The guess is that fill-in service has a higher average order value and may be the main revenue source.

### Where users come from

1. **TikTok own account** . The top video, 20k views, and the July ones at 1.4–15k views are all tagged #nckh #sinhvien #nghiencuukhoahoc (student research). The angle starts from "nobody fills in my survey", pitching the situation rather than the features. The user curve lines up too: about 1 users in Sep 621, around 1,000 by end of September, and 2,000 by end of October (from a third-party plugin analytics site, 90-day curve, not independently verified).

2. **Facebook fan page** (764 followers). The same short videos get reposted, each getting a few hundred views. More important is the Oct 6 post: "Get 150 free form fills right now! Four steps: ① Open Auto Khảo Sát – Pro in the Chrome Web Store; ② give 5 stars and leave a review; ③ follow the fan page; ④ send the review screenshot to the fan page. Time: 2026-10-06 to 10-20." In July it also ran a similar TikTok campaign: like + follow + comment with a single period, get 50 uses.

3. **SEO** . Two blog posts on the official site, on the topic "what to do when no one fills your Google Form". One has 419 reads, the other 66. The scale is very small.

4. **Neighbors in the store** . The store's "related extensions" place it alongside J2TEAM Security, eJOY, and Mochi Dictionary, which Vietnamese students often install. The people installing it are this crowd.

The reviews visible on the store page cluster between Oct 12 and 19, and most say things like "good", "so good", "very nice", right during the campaign. Nov 1 had 125 reviews, and Nov 7 had 127, and the count barely rose once the campaign ended. Among similar extensions rated 2–4 with few reviews, a store page with a 5.0 rating and 120+ reviews looks like the most credible one.

No evidence of paid advertising was found.

### Who it's competing with

The Vietnamese market is already crowded, and the competitors are much bigger:

| Product | Where | Scale | Compared with alternatives |
|---|---|---|---|
| FillForm → Survify(survify.net) | Web | Claims 50k+ students and 3+ years of operation; 3,877 TikTok followers, 63k likes | Fills by ratio, fills by table, generates data for Cronbach's Alpha/EFA/SEM models, and even runs SPSS and SmartPLS. Much more complete features. |
| tudongkhaosat.com | Web | Claims 8,000+ users and 60k+ responses | Priced per question, plus SPSS/SEM consulting |
| Dienform | Web | Unverified, Facebook page is active | Top-up pricing, similar features |
| IForm(khaosatiform.com) | Web | Small, doing TikTok | added AI survey builder |
| FB group manual fill, xulysolieu.info | Service | A lot | priced per batch, survey filling + running the software + data tuning, all in one |

The store also has a batch not aimed at Vietnam: Google Forms Auto Filler (50k users, 3.2 stars, can only repeat the same set of answers), Indonesian/Malay Borang (40k users, 1,383 reviews, listing literally says "Spam Google Forms and Microsoft Forms"), English GFormTasker (20k users), and October's freshly listed English version of the same idea, Crowdfill (242 users, "generate realistic answers for the direction you want").

Functionally it's no different from Survify and friends. Only three things differ: it's an extension, not a website; it sells unlimited use by time instead of per batch or per question; and its Vietnamese store page has the nicest ratings. Those three things got it 2,000 users in a small pond, but any competitor could copy it in a week.

### Why now

The demand has always been there: Vietnamese undergrad theses, student research, and plenty of coursework require survey data, often hundreds of samples, plus reliability tests. Real people can't fill that volume, so a mature survey-filling business already existed. It launched in June, catching the wave after September school started, with deadlines bunched in the middle and late semester; users tripled from 9 to October.

No one talks about it outside: zero posts about it on X in 90 days, no press coverage, it spreads only in small circles on Vietnamese students' TikTok and Facebook.

### If it were you

**C. You can learn something, but copying it isn't worth it.** It proves three small things: unlimited daily passes sell better than per-batch pricing; tool plus manual fill on two legs means people who can't use it just buy the service; and a two-week "five stars for extra quota" push can rocket a store rating. But the Vietnamese pond is already held by rivals like Survify with fifty thousand student-scale users, prices are low (one day $3.4, lifetime $15), the features can be copied in a week, and what it really sells is fabricated samples: academic integrity issues, Chrome Web Store takedown, and Google Forms adding anti-bot checks could each hit at any time.

**Who it suits** : people who already have content accounts in a country's university circles and understand local thesis workflows, wanting a small, steady seasonal side project; or service providers already doing thesis data processing and SPSS runs who want an extension to add as a lead magnet.

**Who it doesn't suit** : indie devs aiming big. This demand is one pond per country, so the ceiling is the number of local students who must submit surveys each year. Also anyone uncomfortable with gray areas, since the product's pitch is "good-looking data," and it can't be repackaged as something else.

**How to do it** : don't go to Vietnam. Find a market where thesis survey samples are needed and no good local-language version exists: the Philippines, India, Turkey, Latin America (someone is already selling Google Forms bots on Peruvian TikTok). First search the Chrome store in the local language to confirm there's no Borang-scale player. Build the extension only for proportional filling, filling from a table, and randomized submission intervals (the first comment on the review section was "what if my professor checks the timestamps?"). Copy the pricing: free trial with a few responses, then three tiers (one day, one week, lifetime), paid with local wallets; add a manual-fill service on the side.

**How to get users** : On TikTok, speak in the voice of local students: "300 survey responses, who's filling them in?" Skip the features. Tag with local terms like "thesis", "research" and "college student". In the first two weeks after launch, trade free credits for reviews and push your store page up to the top of its category (this breaks store policy and risks removal, so weigh that yourself).

**When to be early** : follow the local academic calendar. List and collect reviews one to two months before thesis season. If a market already has a Survify-style all-in-one platform that fakes data with SEM and runs SPSS, skip it.

**Signs you read it wrong** : (1) Google Forms adds captchas or submission rate limits, or the Chrome store starts pulling these extensions, and the whole category vanishes; (2) Auto Khảo Sát's users drop after the semester ends and reviews stop growing, meaning 2,000 was a one-off seasonal review push, not repeatable growth; (3) your new-market videos can't get past a few thousand views, meaning local students get their samples by finding people, not tools.

## Auto Khảo Sát - Pro (Chrome extension, pjegeegjahmnpfdpekafmnbapbpkamep)

### One line

A Vietnamese Chrome extension that batch-fills Google Forms surveys in the browser, using set answer ratios / CSV to generate "good-looking" data, sold to Vietnamese university students who need survey sample sizes for theses and research (NCKH) projects; also sells a manual-fill package.

### Verdict

It didn't ride new demand. The Vietnamese "survey-filling" market was already held by web tools and fill services like FillForm (now Survify, claiming 50k students), tudongkhaosat (claiming 8,000+ users), Dienform, IForm and others. Its position is: **same features as a Chrome extension, sold cheap as "unlimited uses" by time period** (89k dong/24 hours), then broke through the rating wall with **student-targeted short TikTok videos + Facebook "five stars for 150 free fills"** . With 2,000 users and 127 reviews, the scale is small; growth comes mostly from its own content and review campaigns, not a product breakthrough.

### Data

| Metric | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| First published | 2026-06-05 | Chrome Web Store / chromestore library |
| Current version | Updated 2.0.5,2026-10-14, 109KiB, store lists "Offers in-app purchases" | Store listing page (read 2026-11-06) |
| Users | 2,000 (11-01 and 11-07 snapshots both in the 2,000 tier) | chromestore item_snap |
| User curve | 9/1 about 621 → 9/27 about 1k → 10/27 about 2k | The extops 90-day curve cited in the recall card; our extops_series library has no row for it, not independently verified |
| Rating | 5.0,125 reviews (11-01) → 127 reviews (11-07) | chromestore item_snap |
| Review pace | The few reviews visible on the store review page cluster between 2026-10-12 and 10-19, mostly "good," "so good," "very nice" | Chrome Web Store review page |

The reviews clustered on the same days as a Facebook campaign, "2026-10-06 to 10-20: install the extension, give five stars, screenshot it and send it to the fan page, get 150 free auto-fills" (campaign post: facebook.com/autokhaosat/posts/122136883317360151; another post states "Thời gian: 06/10/2026 – 20/10"). A week after the campaign ended, only 2 more reviews came in. The recall card says the reviews "rose from 4 to 6 within weeks", which lines up with this direction.

### Competitors

Local in Vietnam (main battlefield, all chasing the same students writing theses):

- **FillForm → Survify (fillform.info now redirects to survify.net)** : web tool + fill service, claims over 3 years in operation and "more than 50.000 students," fills proportionally, fills from data tables, generates data by research model (Cronbach's Alpha/EFA/SEM), AI Agent mode, and also does SPSS/SmartPLS processing. TikTok @fillform.info 3,877 followers, 72 posts, 63k likes (TikHub), and runs the Facebook group "FillForm - Group Điền khảo sát chéo." This is the largest player.

- **tudongkhaosat.com** : web, claims 8,000+ users, 60,000+ responses; priced per question count, 6–10 questions 300đ/question, 16+ questions 100đ/question, plus SPSS/SEM/EFA consulting.

- **Dienform (dienform.com)** : web, fills proportionally, controls submission intervals, pay-to-top-up, active FB fan page.

- **IForm (khaosatiform.com)** : web, targets students and master's students, runs TikTok content @khaosatiform.

- **Proxy form-filling services** : xulysolieu.info's "collect surveys + run software + adjust data" bundle (each extra response beyond 300 costs 1,000đ), Mạnh Hùng Digi and others; manual fill quotes like "200 responses for 200k" are common in Facebook groups.

Similar tools in the Chrome Web Store (chromestore library):

- Google Forms Auto Filler (50k users, 2021, saves one set of answers and repeats them, 3.2 stars)

- Borang (40k users, 1,383 reviews, 2021, Pawaka Labs, Indonesia/Malaysia; the listing literally says "Spam Google Forms and Microsoft Forms")

- GFormTasker (20k users, 363 reviews, 2024, "automate or spam your Google Form responses")

- Powerful Google Form Filler (2,000,2026-04, Indonesian developer)

- Crowdfill (242,2026-10, "generate realistic answers in the direction you want"), the same idea in English, just launched

- General AI form fillers (QuickForm, FillApp, Fillify, etc.) and fake-data tools (Fake Data): built for filling personal details or testing, not for proportional bulk sample generation.

Big-company features: Google Forms itself doesn't have this (and won't, since it defeats the purpose); Claude/ChatGPT browser agents can fill forms, but there's no workflow for "generate 300 responses in proportion."

### Growth channels

1. **Official TikTok account @autokhaosat.com** (TikHub, 2026-11-06): 449 followers, 8 videos, 5,322 total likes. Hits: 9-17 "#StudyTips #nckh #sinhvien" 20,905 views; 7-23 15,185 views; 7-07 14,237 views; 7-20 4,800 views. The pitch is a student pain point ("nobody fills my survey"). It also shows up in the TikTok search snippet for "Tool Tự Điền Form Khảo Sát." Not big, but it matches the user curve.

2. **Facebook fan page** (764 followers): posts the same short videos (a few hundred views each) and runs a "five-star review gets 150 free fills" campaign, **confirmed review-gating** .

3. **SEO / blog** : 2 articles on the official site (7-11 with 419 reads, 9-27 with 66 reads), targeting "what to do when nobody fills your Google Form"; searching "Auto Khảo Sát" on Google finds its site and TikTok. Very small.

4. **In-store** : the store's "related extensions" group it with extensions Vietnamese students often install (J2TEAM Security, eJOY, Mochi Dictionary, BamiDoc, IUH teaching-evaluation filler), suggesting the installers are the same crowd. After 125 reviews at 5 stars, its ranking for searches like "google form auto fill" should improve (inference, unverified).

5. **Invite referral 30%** : exists, effect unknown.

6. **YouTube channel** : has tutorial videos (the store page embeds youtube wa1jxTh_thw), reach not checked.

7. Paid ads: no evidence found (our Meta/TikTok ad libraries only track products on our list, so not finding ads doesn't mean there were none).

### Why it took off

- **Rigid demand, seasonal** : Vietnamese undergrad theses, NCKH (student research) and coursework all require survey data, often hundreds of samples that must pass checks like Cronbach's Alpha / EFA; real people can't fill that many, so a mature "survey-filling" market exists. Deadlines cluster at the end of semesters, matching growth from 9 through October after school restarts.

- **Different format and pricing** : competitors are mainly web tools charging per question or per response (tudongkhaosat 100–300đ per question, proxy filling 1,000đ per response). For 300 responses × 30 questions, tudongkhaosat's listed price works out to roughly 900k VND (my own calculation from the site price, billing terms unverified). Auto Khảo Sát is an extension that submits from the user's own browser, **89k for unlimited use per day, 399k for lifetime** , so a student rushing a deadline pays once.

- **Content aimed right** : several TikToks at 1.4–20k views, with tags #nckh #sinhvien #StudyTips hitting students writing papers directly.

- **Fake reviews buying trust** : similar extensions mostly sit at 2–4 stars with few reviews. This one used a two-week campaign to collect 100+ 5-star reviews, so its store page looks the most trustworthy.

### Differentiation

Functionally (proportional filling, CSV import, timing control, no form-edit permission needed) it's essentially the same as Survify/Dienform. What's actually different is **delivery format (a browser extension, so you don't hand your form link to a third-party website) + billing (unlimited by time, not per response/question) + the best-looking ratings on the Vietnamese store page** . Those explain how it reached 2,000 users in a small market, but they aren't enough to threaten a rival at Survify's scale; the moat is very thin, and any competitor could ship an extension and switch to day passes within a week.

### Visibility

Almost nobody knows yet: X search finds nothing (x-radar: 90 days, 0 posts), no press coverage, revenue not disclosed; it only circulates in small Vietnamese student TikTok and Facebook circles. But the whole category is already crowded in Vietnam (5+ web tools plus lots of Facebook-group proxy filling).

### Copycats

No direct copycat found; the same idea in English, Crowdfill (2026-10-06 listed, 242 users), and Indonesia's Powerful Google Form Filler (2026-04) look more like independent emergence than imitation.

### What to borrow

- "Buying survey samples for papers" is a real need in many countries (Borang and GFormTasker in Indonesia/Malaysia, Google Forms bots sold on TikTok in Peru). A localized version with local payments and student-oriented TikTok could build traction.

- A time-based "unlimited" pass is very appealing to people rushing deadlines, and easier to sell than per-response pricing.

- Two legs, tool plus manual proxy-filling package: people who can't use the tool simply buy the service, which means higher average order value.

- Trading free quota for five-star reviews can break the review wall in two weeks (violates Chrome Web Store policy, with takedown risk).

### Uncertain

- The user curve (621→2k) comes from the recall card's extops; our own extops table has no reading for it. Our snapshots only have 11-01 and 11-07, both in the 2,000 tier.

- Paid conversion and revenue are completely unknown; manual proxy-filling services may be the main income.

- Whether it runs Facebook/TikTok ads: not found.

- Risks: Google Forms adding anti-bot checks, Chrome Web Store takedown for review manipulation or "generating fake data", and academic-integrity controversy.
