> For agents: these verdicts and the underlying databases (verified revenue, App Store / Google Play charts, ad libraries, GitHub, Product Hunt…) are queryable live over MCP — tools today / hot / products / directions / direction / data. > The launch added seven or eight platforms that post chapter-length text at the same time. Two reposts from Chinese creators drove the two biggest spikes: "Paid courses teach exactly this, now it's all laid out" and the research figure "only 10% achieve a 90% success rate."

# 'This is what the paid courses teach': Alibaba Cloud put a whitepaper on GitHub, 56 days, 2,900 stars. All you can copy is the playbook.

**What it is** An enterprise AI Agent deployment whitepaper co-written by 50 Alibaba Cloud engineers: 30 chapters plus a research report from a 1,906-response survey. It's free to read on GitHub, updated weekly, with no code.

**Why it took off** A conference launch plus chapter posts on seven or eight platforms laid the foundation. Two reposts from Chinese tech bloggers ('This is what the paid courses teach, and this time they laid it all out' and the survey figure 'only 90% of respondents hit a success rate') drove the two biggest jumps.

**C** **How you can follow** Don't write yet another generic enterprise Agent guide. If you have first-hand industry deployment material, use its structure (repo + reading site + one chapter a week + your own small survey) to write a narrow topic. Fill the gap it leaves with a runnable reference implementation, and prepare a data hook to get Chinese AI bloggers to repost it.

Grade C: the playbook is worth learning, but its stars rest on a big-company byline, named customer cases, nearly two thousand survey responses, and the Yunqi conference. Followers can't get any of those. The top of this category has 50k to 80k stars, while a personal project on the same topic gets only 312 stars. Copying the topic isn't worth it. Alibaba Cloud turned last year's 'AI-Native Application Architecture Whitepaper' into an open-source repo that keeps getting updated, launched it at the Yunqi conference, and then, with its own content matrix and two reposts from Chinese AI bloggers, got about 2,900 stars in 56 days. The stars really took off because of frontline enterprise cases and 1,906 survey responses, and only a big company can produce those. With a narrow readership and no code, it's a middling performer in its category. If you want to learn from it, copy its distribution playbook, but don't copy the topic.

### Oct 18, 7:30 AM Weibo post

On Oct 18 07:30, 2026, Weibo blogger 葛胡说 posted: "Alibaba Cloud has written a book on how to actually ship enterprise Agents, ai-agent-handbook, free to read in both Chinese and English." He went on: "Open for just over a month, and it already has 1647 stars and 242 forks on GitHub," and pointed to the practice section's case studies: Geely, Tastientech (塔斯汀), 畅捷通, MiniMax, 信永中和, and Bilibili. The last line was:

> The paid courses usually teach exactly this, and this time they laid it all out.

The day before, @Ryrenz on X had posted nearly the same copy. The repo's stars moved like this: 10-17, up 35,10-18, up 122,10-19, up 243, its largest single-day gain to date (GitHub daily stars, 10-17 to 10-19). Before that it had been gaining twenty or thirty stars a day organically.

### What it is: a book with not one line of runnable code

aliyun/ai-agent-handbook is a whitepaper on the 'full lifecycle of enterprise Agents.' The main text has 30 chapters in seven parts (architecture, building, running, governance, tuning, practice, outlook), plus three special topics (the Jev decision model, Personal Agent, FDE), and an attached '2026 Agent Developer Survey Report' with 1,906 valid responses. Authors are 50 engineers from several Alibaba Cloud internal teams, each claiming their own sections. It's Apache-2.0 licensed, with a bilingual Chinese/English README and a reading site at aliyun.github.io/ai-agent-handbook featuring Chinese search, light and dark themes, and reading-position memory. Starting Nov 3, it added an online 'challenge' mini-game, and a leaderboard the next day.

It doesn't teach you to build an Agent from scratch. It's written for tech leads and architects who have to get projects approved, pick a stack, and pass governance review inside their companies. AlphaSignal's review was blunt: "No SDK, runnable reference implementation, or installable package".

Its predecessor was the e-book whitepaper released at the September 2025 Yunqi conference ('20w+ characters, 40 frontline engineers'). This year it switched to an open-source repo. In a preview post, 'Is an Agent whitepaper worth writing for two years straight?', Alibaba Cloud gave the reasoning: 'Better reading experience for both people and Agents, higher collaboration efficiency, lower update cost.'

### Where the stars came from

| Timeline | What happened | star |
|---|---|---|
| 9-18~9-20 | The Alibaba Cloud developer community and 51CTO published a preview post saying 'open-sourcing soon,' urging readers to attend the Yunqi sub-forum launch, with a download link to last year's edition embedded in the post. | Not yet public |
| 9-22~9-28 | 9-22 made public; 9-23 entered Trendshift, and a community author produced an EPUB/PDF compilation the same day; 9-24~26 Yunqi conference launch; 9-25 Juejin: 'Alibaba open-sources: we wrote frontline enterprise Agent deployment experience into a 30-chapter open handbook.' | Cumulative 10-09 reached 1,252 |
| 10-09~10-16 | Alibaba Cloud Native publishes a chapter-style post almost every day on Cnblogs, InfoQ, SegmentFault, 51CTO, Juejin, its developer community, and English blogs; 10-14 its README has a WeChat reading-group QR code. | +12~+103 per day |
| **10-17~10-19** | X @Ryrenz and Weibo's 葛胡说: "Paid courses teaching this stuff?" 10-19 repo added a Personal Agent topic while Muse and Dots were hyping "personal agents"; the reading group reached group 2 | **+35, +122, +243** |
| 10-20~10-29 | Only its own matrix still posting chapters | +10~+65 per day |
| **10-30~11-01** | X big account @shao__meng posted a long thread, 'Alibaba Cloud open-sources the AI Agent Handbook: using Harness to push enterprise Agents from pilot to governable production,' and the next day a post on the research report. AlphaSignal ran an English piece the same day titled 'Only 10% Hit 90% Task Success.' Weibo's '蚁工厂' and a batch of Chinese and English AI news sites reposted it. | **+15, +147, +69** |
| 11-03~11-06 | Launched the challenge mini-game and leaderboard; the README invites universities to co-build course material. | About +30 per day |

Data from daily GitHub stars (since 10-09) and platform post dates. As of 11-06 it has 2,884 stars and 367 forks, +393 over the last 7 days, and +198 over the first 7 days.

Broken down, its stars come in two layers. The bottom layer is Big Tech's own audience: the conference launch, a preview the week before, chapter posts on seven or eight platforms, last year's readers, and three WeChat reading groups (each estimated at a 500-person cap; actual membership unverified). This layer carried the first two weeks, adding over 1,200 stars, and still brings in twenty or thirty a day. The top layer is two outside reposts, and the two biggest jumps line up with them. It didn't make Hacker News or Product Hunt. The repo was under 60 days old, too new for GitHub trending.

### Why this one: three things outsiders can't get

**Named enterprise cases.** Geely, Tastien, Bilibili, plus internal Alibaba cases like kernel patches, Code Review, and Agentic SOC, normally locked inside each company's internal docs. The 葛胡说 post spread because of these: "This kind of experience is usually scattered across internal docs at each company, and outsiders never see it."

**A number you can use as a headline.** In a survey of 1,906 responses, "only about one in ten people had a task success rate above 90%" and "about 18% made it to production." AlphaSignal used the first figure directly as its headline. Bloggers and news sites want numbers that fit in one sentence and get shared.

**The "open-sourcing the paid course" angle.** Big-company byline, no course sales, Apache-2.0, so "the course you used to pay for is free now" writes itself. It's the easiest framing to spread for open-source docs.

Timing helped too. In autumn 2026, "Agent from demo to production" and "Harness engineering" were hot terms. When Personal Agent took off, it added a dedicated section the next day. It kept updating after release, with commits almost every day, and each update gave its content matrix another post to publish. That's different from a one-off PDF that gets published and forgotten.

### 2,900 stars, how that compares in this category

Agent learning guides are one of the most crowded categories on GitHub:

| Project | Launched | star | How it differs |
|---|---|---|---|
| datawhalechina/hello-agents | 2025-09 | 86,149,7 days +866 | Beginner-friendly from scratch, with code, aimed at students |
| microsoft/ai-agents-for-beginners | 2024-11 | 78,999 | 18-lesson beginner course, multilingual |
| bojieli/ai-agent-book | 2025-09 | 57,256,7 days +714 | Book by an individual author, with 109 labs |
| humanlayer/12-factor-agents | 2025-03 | 26,988 | Short principles checklist, easy to share |
| adongwanai/AgentGuide | 2025-11 | 11,672 | Oriented toward job interviews |
| modelscope/ms-cookbook | 2026-09-11 | 518 | Sibling Alibaba project created the same day |
| heaven999b/hello-agent-system | 2026-09-27 | 312 | Also covers enterprise agent system design, with exercises, but no big-company backing |

(GitHub, 11-06 before/after)

The last two rows matter most. ms-cookbook carries the Alibaba name and was created the same day, yet has only 518 stars, so a big-company brand alone isn't enough; you need material others can't get. hello-agent-system covers nearly the same topic, even with exercises, and reached 312 stars in just over a month. Without those materials, the topic alone can't carry it.

handbook covers enterprise rollout rather than beginner material. That's why it earned stars, and also its ceiling. People choosing a stack or starting a project are far fewer than students learning agents. The book has no code, so lots of people bookmark it and few actually use it. Its star count is an order of magnitude below the leaders.

### What you can take from it

- **Turn a one-off long document into a repo + reading site + weekly new chapters.** Every new chapter is another chance to be shared again. Stars keep climbing, and readers contribute back.

- **Run a small survey of your own and build a numeric hook.** "Only one in ten people achieved X" travels much better than a table of contents. Even 200 responses can produce one number.

- **Have the "open-sourcing the paid stuff" line ready.** Decide in advance what the last sentence of the post will be, so the people sharing it don't have to write it.

- **Tie the launch to a moment and announce a week ahead.** You don't have a Yunqi conference, but you can tie it to a big-company release, an industry event, or the first days a hot term starts trending.

- **Add a dedicated section the day a trend breaks.** When Personal Agent took off, it added a section 10-19, and that day was its peak.

- **Actively reach out to Chinese AI bloggers.** Its two biggest jumps came from Chinese bloggers on X and Weibo, not from Hacker News.

### If it were you

**A verdict:** don't make "yet another enterprise agent guide." Its stars came from a big-company byline, real customer cases, nearly two thousand survey responses, and a conference. You can't get those, and even with all of them it only earned 2,900 stars. Copy its playbook, not its content.

**Who it's for:** people with first-hand material others can't get, such as engineers or small teams who actually shipped agents in a specific industry, community organizers who can run peer surveys, or FDEs who delivered dozens of client projects.

**Who it's not for:** people planning to reorganize public material and make a "Chinese edition of hello-agents" or an "enterprise agent bootcamp." hello-agent-system's 312 stars show where that path leads.

**How to do it:** pick a narrow, concrete topic, such as "an agent rollout playbook for a specific industry," "a governance checklist before agents go live," or "hands-on harness engineering," and fill the gap handbook left: a working reference implementation, or an evaluation/governance scaffold people can use directly. Follow its structure: repo + reading site + one chapter a week + a small survey of your own.

**How to get users:** a week before launch, preview on Juejin, Zhihu, and X; on launch day, have a survey number and a "open-sourcing it" line ready, and DM three to five Chinese AI bloggers (accounts like @shao__meng); put a shared reading group QR code in the README; then keep syncing new chapters to tech communities every week.

**How much time is left:** "Agent from demo to production" and "Harness" are still hot terms, probably about another quarter (inference). Once big companies like Tencent Cloud or Volcano Engine publish similar open-source whitepapers (none seen on GitHub yet), a narrow topic gets harder to claim.

**What would show this read is wrong:** if an individual or small team without big-company backing used the same playbook on enterprise agent rollout and reached several thousand stars within two months, the path works for ordinary people too, and this take is too conservative. If handbook's stars stop growing once it stops updating, that means Alibaba Cloud's distribution carried it, not the content.

## Why aliyun/ai-agent-handbook took off

> Research date 2026-11-06. Data sources: our github database (repo_profile / repo_day, with daily data from 10-09), GitHub repos and git commit history, Jina / Exa web search, and the hackernews database. Anything we couldn't verify is marked "unverified."

### One line

Alibaba Cloud released the second edition of its "AI-Native Application Architecture Whitepaper," first published at the 2025 Yunqi conference, as a GitHub repo plus reading site (30 chapters, written by 50 frontline engineers, over 30 ten-thousand characters). **It went public around Sep 22, timed for the 9-24~26 Yunqi conference** . Alibaba Cloud Native's self-media matrix then pushed a chapter every week and built WeChat reading groups. Stars came mainly from three waves of outside sharing: 10-17/18 X @Ryrenz and Weibo's 葛胡说 with "the course you paid for covers this, and now it's all laid out," 10-30/31 a long post from X's @shao__meng, plus AlphaSignal and a batch of Chinese and English AI news aggregators. Its strength is **big-company backing, frontline enterprise cases, and survey data, which are scarce** , not anything new in the product itself. For comparison, 56 days and 2.9k stars counts as mid-tier. The sibling Alibaba project modelscope/ms-cookbook, created the same day, has only 518 stars. Similar individual or community tutorials often reach 50k to 80k stars.

### 1. Basic data

- Created 2026-09-11, first public commit 2026-09-22 (`project init`, Chickenlj); 11-06 total of 141 commits, with 10 contributors (max-wc 51, chickenlj 35, johnlanni 15, fancyxai 11), all from Alibaba Cloud.

- Stars: 10-09 is 1,252 (our database, source deeply), 10-16 is 1,614,11-06 is 2,884 (GitHub live 2,910). Forks 367; fork-to-star ratio about 12.7%, close to the median for new repos of similar size (about 11%); suspect list empty, no sign of star inflation.

- Largest single-day gain +243 (10-19); last 7 days +393, the previous 7 days +198 (data card).

- Normal daily growth is 20~40; only three periods show clear jumps (see section 4).

- Not on trending: created less than 60 days ago, so it can't reach GitHub trending, which doesn't mean it isn't popular. It did make Trendshift (hdatf.com only indexes repos that made Trendshift, and it indexed this one, 9-23).

### 2. What it is

- An open-source whitepaper on the "full enterprise agent lifecycle," 7 articles in all: architecture, build, run, governance, tuning, practice, outlook (chapters 1–30), plus three dedicated sections on the Jev decision model, Personal Agent, and FDE, and a 2026 Agent Developer Survey Report (1,906 valid responses).

- The practice chapters name real customers: Geely Automobile, Tastien, Changjie Tong, MiniMax, Asia Pacific Accounting (Shinyway), Bilibili, and Taobao Sports, plus Alibaba internal R&D efficiency cases (kernel patches, Code Review, Agentic SOC, multi-agent R&D squads).

- The reading site is at aliyun.github.io/ai-agent-handbook, with Chinese search, light and dark themes, and reading-position memory, plus a bilingual Chinese/English README. From 11-03 it added an "online challenge" mini-game (Beta), and from 11-04 a leaderboard.

- No SDK and no runnable reference implementation (AlphaSignal's words: "No SDK, runnable reference implementation, or installable package").

- Predecessor: the September 2025 Yunqi release of the "AI Native Application Architecture White Paper" (an e-book, "endorsed by 15 experts, 20w+ words, written by 40 frontline engineers", developer.aliyun.com/ebook/8479). This year it's published as an open-source repo instead, with the reason that "reading experience is better for both humans and Agents, collaboration is more efficient, and updates are cheaper" (developer.aliyun.com/article/1764753).

### 3. Competitors: who else does the same thing

"Agent learning / engineering guides" are one of the most crowded categories on GitHub, with plenty of big names:

| Product | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| datawhalechina/hello-agents | Open source | 2025-09 | 86,149 stars, 7 days +866 | A from-scratch principles tutorial with code, aimed at students; the handbook targets enterprise rollout and architecture choices, with no code |
| microsoft/ai-agents-for-beginners | Open source (big vendor) | 2024-11 | 78,999 star | A 18-lesson intro course, multi-language; the handbook covers production governance, leaning Chinese |
| bojieli/ai-agent-book (Li Bojie) | Open source | 2025-09 | 57,256 stars, 7 days +714 | An individually bylined book + 109 experiments + code; the handbook is a collectively written white paper, strongest on enterprise cases |
| huggingface/agents-course | Open source | 2025-01 | 34,506 star | Certified course, tied to the HF ecosystem |
| humanlayer/12-factor-agents | Open source | 2025-03 | 26,988 star | A checklist of principles, short and easy to digest; the handbook is systematic long-form |
| adongwanai/AgentGuide | Open source | 2025-11 | 11,672 star | Oriented to job interviews; the handbook is enterprise-oriented |
| xindoo/agentic-design-patterns | Open source | 2025-09 | 8,444 star | Chinese translation of Google's new book |
| datawhalechina/deepagents-in-action | Open source | 2026-05 | 2,882 star | Hands-on with the LangChain ecosystem |
| heaven999b/hello-agent-system | Open source | 2026-09-27 | 312 star | An "enterprise-grade Agent system design bootcamp" with exercises; nearly the same topic choice, but without big-tech backing |
| modelscope/ms-cookbook (ModelScope purple book) | Open source (Alibaba family) | 2026-09-11 | 518 star | Sibling Alibaba project created the same day, covering practical model applications; shows the Alibaba brand alone isn't enough |
| Google Cloud's "The AI Agent Handbook" | Big-tech PDF | 2025 | Widely reshared on Reddit/X, scale unverified | A 46-page marketing guide with 10 use cases; the handbook is a 30-chapter engineering document |
| OpenAI's "A Practical Guide to Building Agents" | Big-tech PDF | 2025 | Widely reshared, scale unverified | Short methodology piece; handbook has survey data and domestic customer cases |
| Alibaba Cloud's own 2025 edition of the "AI Native Application Architecture White Paper" | E-book | 2025-09 | Download count unverified | The predecessor of this project, in e-book form; it was outdated within a year |

Bottom line: there are many competitors, and most are an order of magnitude bigger. Its position is narrow: **Chinese-language, enterprise rollout, big-tech bylines, real customer cases and survey data** . Among comparable open-source projects, almost none target "enterprise-grade" with big-tech backing. Tencent Cloud and Volcano Engine have no comparable white-paper repos on GitHub (checking new handbook / white paper / enterprise agent repos created since 2026-08 in our GitHub database, we found no big-tech equivalents).

### 4. Growth tactics: where users come from

Aligning daily star growth with external events:

| Period | Star change (our database) | Corresponding event (evidence) |
|---|---|---|
| 9-18~9-20 | Not yet public | Alibaba Cloud Developer Community / 51CTO published a teaser post, "An Agent white paper: is it worth writing for two years in a row?", saying it's "coming soon to open source" and inviting people to the AgentCore track at Yunqi to see the launch |
| 9-22~9-28 | Public as of 10-09 with 1,252 cumulative stars (daily breakdown unknown) | 9-22 public; 53ai 9-22 reposted it; 9-23 Trendshift / hdatf listed it, and community author Alden made an EPUB/PDF compilation the same day; 9-24~26 launched at the Yunqi main conference; 9-25 Juejin: "Alibaba open-sources: we turned enterprise Agent deployment experience into a 30-chapter open-source handbook"; 9-28 Alibaba Cloud Cloud Native published a research report article on the blog park / developer community |
| 10-09~10-16 | +12~+103 per day | Alibaba Cloud Cloud Native's content matrix (Cnblogs, InfoQ Writing Community, SegmentFault, 51CTO, Juejin, the developer community, the alibabacloud.com English blog) publishes a chapter article almost daily; 10-14 README adds a WeChat reading-group QR code |
| **10-17~10-19** | **+35 → +122 → +243 (peak)** | 10-17 X @Ryrenz, 10-18 07:30 Weibo "Ge Hushuo" posted the same copy: "open for over a month... 1647 stars" "The courses you pay for usually teach exactly this; this time it's laid out in full" (sina.cn/news/detail/5355272151499890; bittide aggregated). 10-19 The repo added a Personal Agent topic (riding the personal-Agent heat sparked by Muse / Dots), reading groups expanded to 2 groups, and 10-21 expanded to 3 groups |
| 10-20~10-29 | Fell back to +10~+65 per day | Only its own matrix keeps publishing chapter articles |
| **10-30~11-01** | **+15 → +147 → +69** | 10-30 01:14 UTC X @shao__meng long post "Alibaba Cloud open-sources 'AI Agent Handbook': using Harness to push enterprise Agents from pilot to governable production"; 14 minutes later AlphaSignal published an English write-up; the same day Weibo "Ant Factory", Sina, aitop.news, hermes-ai, shiplog, 30aitool and other aggregators reposted it; 10-31 @shao__meng posted another reading of the research report |
| 11-03~11-06 | About +30 per day | Launched an "online challenge" mini-game and leaderboard; the README invites universities to co-build courses |

Channel summary:

1. **Conference launch + official content matrix** (confirmed): the Yunqi launch, the teaser post, and weekly new chapters, each published to 7 and 8 platforms at once. This is the foundation that carried the first 1,200 stars and dozens of organic stars per day.

2. **Existing reader migration** (partly confirmed): the 2025 edition white paper already had readers (Jimmy Song and others wrote reviews), and the teaser post directly linked the old download, pushing the "second-year sequel" angle.

3. **Retweets by Chinese tech bloggers on X / Weibo** (confirmed, and both of the biggest jumps line up): @Ryrenz/Ge Hushuo, @shao__meng, Ant Factory. Whether any paid promotion was involved can't be determined; the copy style reads as the bloggers' own writing (unverified).

4. **English AI news aggregators** (confirmed): AlphaSignal's links carry `utm_source=alphasignal`, and overseas aggregators reposted in bulk, though the English-side increment was limited.

5. **WeChat reading groups** (confirmed, 3 groups; capacity estimated at 500 per group, group size unverified): moving readers into private channels while funneling traffic to Alibaba Cloud's AgentCore eight-city roadshow salons.

6. No HN (no record in the hackernews database), no Product Hunt, and no GitHub trending (repo less than 60 days old at build time).

### 5. Why it took off

- **Timing** : 2026 9~October, "Agents from demo to production" and "Harness engineering" are hot terms (Codex, Claude Code and Qoder are all validating this path); Muse and Dots then pushed Personal Agents into the spotlight, and the repo 10-19 quickly added a dedicated topic. On the enterprise side, what's missing is a reference for vendor selection, project kickoff and governance. The whitepaper is positioned as something "for internal enterprise project approval and aligning cross-team concepts."

- **Scarce content** : named domestic enterprise cases and survey data from 1,906 questionnaires ("only about one in ten succeed at a 90% rate", "about 18% made it to production"). These numbers are the hooks bloggers and media love to repost; AlphaSignal's headline is built on exactly this figure.

- **Big-tech backing + free** : the narrative "the courses you pay for usually teach exactly this" spreads well; Apache-2.0, "no courses sold, no cloud sold" (Juejin).

- **Ongoing updates** : new cases are added weekly, and commits have come almost daily since going public, supplying a steady stream of material for the matrix articles and keeping it from dying like a one-off PDF after release.

- **Online reading site** : easier to read than the md files on GitHub, and the community spontaneously made compilations, lowering the barrier to entry.

### 6. Differentiation, and whether that's why it took off

- Compared with the top names like hello-agents, ai-agent-book, and Microsoft's course: it **doesn't teach writing an Agent from scratch, it teaches how enterprises roll one out** . Readers are architects, tech leads, and people making selection and approval decisions; the content is case studies and trade-offs from frontline teams, not tutorial code.

- Compared with Google's and OpenAI's Agent guides: it is a 30-chapter, continuously updated Chinese engineering document, not a one-off marketing PDF.

- This differentiation is **why it got stars, and also its ceiling** : enterprise rollout readers are naturally far fewer than beginner learners, so it reached 56k in 2.9 days; no code, no exercises, lots of bookmarks, little use. What really sets it apart from other Alibaba-family doc repos is the "enterprise cases + survey data" material others can't get, plus two retweets from big Chinese accounts. Compare with ms-cookbook: created the same day, also Alibaba-family, yet only 518 stars.

### 7. Visibility and copycats

- Visibility: it's circulating in small circles. Chinese AI-community bloggers on X and Weibo have shared it (@shao__meng, @Ryrenz, Ant Factory), AlphaSignal wrote about it, and Alibaba Cloud's own matrix covered it thoroughly; it didn't go on HN and has no in-depth coverage from mainstream tech media. Compared with similar projects at tens of thousands of stars, its recognition is a tier lower. Open-source docs have no revenue to speak of.

- Copycats: no other big tech company has copied an "enterprise-grade Agent open-source white paper"; there are only community derivatives (AldenWangExis's compilation / EPUB) and a small project on the same topic, heaven999b/hello-agent-system (312 stars), with no sign it's imitating this one.

### 8. What others can learn

- Turn a one-off white paper or PDF into an "open-source repo + reading site + weekly new chapters": every update becomes an article that can be distributed, stars keep climbing, and readers can contribute content.

- Produce a shareable numeric hook from your own research report ("only 10% of projects exceed a 90% success rate"), then hand it to Chinese AI bloggers to repost.

- "The courses you pay for, now laid out free" is the most effective spreading narrative for open-source docs.

- Tie the release to your own conference, publish a teaser a week ahead, and use WeChat reading groups to keep readers in private channels.

- Topic riding the trend: Personal Agent blew up, and they ran a feature the next day.

### 9. Still unclear

- We don't have the day-by-day stars for 9-22~10-08 (how many they gained that week at Yunqi); the GitHub stargazer timestamp API was rate-limited this time and we couldn't pull it.

- The reads and engagement on @Ryrenz and @shao__meng's posts, and whether they were paid partnerships, weren't verified; also not verified whether 「葛胡说」 and @Ryrenz are the same person.

- 10-15's +103 doesn't match any clear external event (could be one of their own matrix articles, or a study group going live).

- What share of the stars came from Alibaba Cloud employees / group members wasn't verified.

- Read count for the WeChat Official Account post from 「阿里云云原生」 wasn't found.
