An AI beauty streamer with thousands of viewers on Douyin open-sourced her live-streaming tool: 13 days, 735 stars, and 40% of people forked it to run their own streams
What it is The full live-streaming toolkit behind Douyin's AI streamer "Cyber Xiaoya": the visuals run on Vidu S2 cloud digital humans, while danmaku, the brain, cloned voice, song requests, actions and gift queue-jumping all run on your own computer.
Why it blew up The author first made the character popular on Douyin, with thousands online every night. On X, the Chinese AI crowd broke it down, copied it, and hyped "monetizing lower-tier markets"; once the original was open-sourced, people wanting their own streaming room rushed in to fork it.
BHow you could follow Don't build another Chinese version on Douyin. Take the same thing to YouTube, TikTok or Twitch as an English version, or make a version that needs no GPU and can run on a server for 24 hours; get a stream that looks good first, then release the code.

cyber-xiaoya-live is the full live-streaming toolkit behind Douyin's AI streamer "Cyber Xiaoya": the visuals run on Vidu S2 cloud digital humans, while danmaku, the brain, cloned voice, song requests, actions and gift queue-jumping all run on your own computer. It was open-sourced late one night in Oct 24, and by Nov 6 it had 735 stars and 318 forks. The stars didn't grow on GitHub organically. They were carried over by the character the author had built on Douyin over three-plus months, plus a round of breakdown, copy and hype on X's Chinese AI circles. Below: what it is, where the stars came from, why so many people forked it, and whether you can still follow.
A livestream room one night in Oct 15
In 2026 Oct, on 15 evening, Gary曹淦, an AI video creator, came across a Douyin livestream room called "天工开帧." He later wrote a long post on X that opened with: "The author has been streaming for a while, and now thousands of viewers are online as soon as he goes live."
What stopped him was the "sense of a real person." The streamer "Xiaoya" mostly looks down at the screen as if reading danmaku on a phone, smiles when something is funny and shows her teeth, sometimes rests her chin on her hand, sometimes reaches for a snack. The picture is a bit blurry, and when a viewer types something she replies about twenty seconds later. No real person is driving it. A Vidu S label sits at the top of the frame, and a note card beside it reads "Today I'm still testing danmaku commands," with a list below of singing, dancing, selling products and interaction filters, some with checkmarks.
Gary spent four days building a streamer called "Wanwan" and streamed it on his own Douyin account for 70+ minutes. In Oct 20 he open-sourced the article and the code together (garycaogan/ai-live-avatar, MIT). The same day, Huang Xiaomu on X reposted it with the caption:
"A digital-human killer scheme, now open-sourced. Go to WeChat Channels or Douyin and harvest the lower-tier market."
That post got 55.6k views. The original still wasn't open, but a copy was already open-sourced, so demand was left hanging. Four days later the author posted on Douyin: "Happy weekend, the livestream version is open-sourced. Ugh, I can't keep up with the reviews, I'm exhausted, so I'll just open everything." That post got 2091 likes and 2400 saves, more saves than likes (Douyin, 11-06).
What it is
A modular digital-human livestreaming toolkit written in Python, under AGPL-3.0.
- Vidu only handles the visuals: you feed it text or audio, it renders the lip sync, expressions and motion, and pushes the stream back over WebRTC. Vidu S2 is the real-time digital-human model Shengshu Technology released in Sep 16. The author adapted it the next day and went live that night.
- Everything else runs locally: the LLM (DeepSeek by default) decides what to say, a local TTS speaks it in the cloned voice, danmaku first passes through a router that turns it into commands ("put on your sunglasses" actually makes her grab the sunglasses), actions are queued by priority (VIP > hand-tap > scripted > danmaku), gifts can jump the queue, other actions yield while singing, it reconnects automatically if dropped, and the server records replays.
- The only cost is rendering: the README says you don't need to buy cloud ASR, LLM or TTS packages. Vidu bills by the second at 1 credits per second, and Gary measured roughly ¥169 per hour.
The first screen of the README is a live Douyin screenshot and a 6-second original clip with sound, followed by a candid line: "This is not a 'download and double-click to play' finished product." The avatar, voice, persona, action library, song library and API keys are all yours to prepare, and following the steps takes about 1 hours. Hardware needs Windows and an NVIDIA card with 8GB+ of VRAM. TTS runs locally, and the author measured around 11GB.
How the stars came in, step by step
The author "Tiangong Kaizhen" uses the same name on Douyin, Bilibili and YouTube, with Douyin as the main stage: 54.3k followers and 214k likes. Bilibili has 2274 followers, and YouTube has 118 subscribers. The timeline:
| Timeline | What happened |
|---|---|
| 07-20 | Douyin "My cyber girlfriend can't possibly be this cute!", 35k likes and 10k shares; a locally run AI girlfriend tagged with Douyin's official #vibecoding showcase hashtag |
| 07-23 | "Boss Pi, you're wrong," 143k likes and 78k shares; these two videos built the account's base |
| 07~September | Published a tutorial and a DeepSeek Harness plugin version; the local-version Xiaoya reached 978 stars on GitHub |
| 09-17 | "Already adapted to s2… going live tonight after 7 pm," the day after Vidu S2 launched |
| October | Streamed with Xiaoya every night; two breakdowns from "Yuge Xiangqianchong" on X (10-11 and 10-12), plus Gary's long post and copy, and Huang Xiaomu's repost (10-20) |
| 10-24 late night | Repo created, and Douyin posted "livestream version open-sourced" |
| 10-26 ~ 10-29 | 64 stars rose to 309 stars, and the backlog of demand came in all at once |
| 11-01 ~ 11-04 | Only 25 to 30 per day |
| 11-05 / 11-06 | +72 / +159, another wave |
(Star counts come from GitHub's daily records; Douyin figures come from the author's profile page, 11-06.)
I couldn't trace the source of this last wave. The author hasn't posted a new video since Oct 30, so it wasn't a new short video. It may have been the Nov 4 livestream with the gift module, or some big account reposting it again (inference).
Why four in ten people forked it
For a typical open-source project, forks run about 10–20% of stars. The similar project Fay is at 17%, and Open-LLM-VTuber is at 12%. This one is at 43%.
The reason is simple: people aren't starring it to bookmark it, they're forking it to run their own streaming room. The pitch on X was "lower-tier market," "a beauty streamer who goes live 24 hours a day," "kickstart an account." The README makes clear you swap in your own avatar, voice and persona, which means you have to fork it and modify it. The author said on Douyin in Oct 13: "My tool is open-source and free, but please don't use Xiaoya's look and voice… go build your own account."
The attention also drew other things. The first line of the README says: "Any paid resale, proxy downloads or proxy deployments are unauthorized," which shows people are already reselling it and deploying it for others. The author posted on Oct 26: "Douyin, you can never make me happy again." The comments underneath: "A 90w-follower big creator is also streaming with Xiaoya," "Lots of these have popped up lately, and they're all selling courses," "I made my own avatar and my stream still got banned for three days; the platform says it's recording videos," "Just running a digital-human stream feels like a gray-market business, and you have to keep battling the platform's risk control."
The copy was open-sourced first, yet the original still has more stars
| Project | Stars | Compared with alternatives |
|---|---|---|
| garycaogan/ai-live-avatar | 437 | A direct copy, also using Vidu S2, open-sourced 4 days before the original. It had a long post and the author's own traffic, but none of the original streaming room's fame. |
| jacke-pp/open-yoki | 1333 | 10-28 repo, headless streaming on a server, main stage on Binance Square, telling crypto stories |
| moeru-ai/airi | 51k | Anime VTuber route (a Neuro-sama copy) |
| Open-LLM-VTuber | 14.6k | Live2D voice companion, mostly desktop |
| xszyou/Fay | 13.6k | Digital-human framework for business integration and product sales |
| lipku/LiveTalking | 10.3k | Local real-time lip sync; you run the rendering yourself, and realism and motion fall short of Vidu S2 |
| A batch of DSH livestream plugins | Each 0 to 80 | DeepSeek fan-made characters with Live2D, same wave of hype, no sense of a real person |
(GitHub, 11-06.)
The table shows two things. First, there were already many open-source "AI digital-human livestream" projects, but once Vidu S2 arrived, the combination of "realistic cloud digital human + local stage control + Douyin danmaku" was first made famous on Douyin by Xiaoya. The copy was open-sourced 4 days earlier, yet the original still passed it on stars, thanks to the word "original" and the author's Douyin presence. Second, open-yoki carried a similar idea to another platform and another audience (crypto), and got 9 stars in 1333 days, more than the original did. Switching platforms and audiences works.
There's also a gap: this wave of attention has stayed almost entirely within the Chinese-speaking world. No mainstream media covered it, it didn't reach GitHub trending, and overseas it was only mentioned by a Japanese aggregator site and an English podcast.
If it were you
B: worth a try. Tooling for realistic AI streamers is heating up, and the English-language space is almost empty. But most of these stars came from the author's Douyin character, which you won't get, and you have to produce a convincing stream first.
Who it suits: developers who can stream themselves and are willing to keep a room open for several hours a night; people who already have some viewers on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch or a vertical community (crypto, gaming, a particular language); people who have done real-time engineering with WebRTC, TTS or danmaku integration.
Who it doesn't suit: anyone with no content channel who just wants to finish the code, push it to GitHub and wait for stars (even the copy, with a long post and the author's traffic, only reached 437 stars); anyone who wants to build another Chinese version on Douyin or WeChat Channels (copies, resale and course-selling already abound, and the platforms are still banning accounts); anyone who can't afford ¥100–200 an hour in rendering costs to run a demo stream.
How to do it: three ways to follow, ranked from best to weakest:
- Switch platforms and languages: build an English version (or Japanese, Korean) for YouTube Live, TikTok Live, or Twitch, with chat hooked up to those platforms, and put a clip of your own live stream on the first screen of the README. open-yoki got 1333 stars after moving to Binance Square, which shows a new platform brings in a fresh audience.
- Fix what it gets wrong: it needs Windows with an NVIDIA GPU with 8GB of VRAM, and it's locked to Vidu. Build a fully cloud version that needs no GPU and lets you swap the rendering backend, or a one-click server deployment that stays live for 24 hours (open-yoki went this route).
- Split out one piece: the stream-control layer (chat routing, action priority, gift interrupts) has nothing to do with which digital-human vendor you use. Pull it out as a general library for all AI streamer projects.
Whichever you pick, copy its packaging: have a real live stream running, put a screenshot on the first screen of the README, say clearly up front "this isn't a finished product, here's what you need to prepare," then write a setup guide of 1 hours, and document the pitfalls you hit.
How to get users: let people see your live stream first, then link the GitHub repo. Cut recordings of the stream into short videos and post them on your platform; write a breakdown post on "how I built an AI streamer" (Gary's post is a good model) and share it on X, Reddit's r/LocalLLaMA, and Hacker News; put the link in your stream and bio the night you go live.
Timing: real-time digital-human models have just been released, and "the first working demo" will get most of the attention. The Chinese-language scene was crowded within two weeks; the English scene is best claimed before the end of 2026.
Signs you've got it wrong: ① your English stream has run for a few nights and stays in single-digit viewers, meaning overseas audiences aren't buying the "AI beauty streamer" idea; ② Vidu or a rival soon ships its own one-click live product, and the control layer stops being worth anything; ③ YouTube or TikTok start mass-banning unattended AI streams, which narrows this path.

Why cyber-xiaoya/cyber-xiaoya-live took off
Research date 2026-11-06. Channel: GitHub. Author: Tiangong Kaizhen (same name on Douyin / Bilibili / YouTube; personal GitHub beiyege-01).
One line
This is an AI streamer called "Cyber Xiaoya" that already became known on Douyin, now open-sourcing its live-streaming toolchain: Vidu S2 cloud digital human handles only the visuals; chat routing, the LLM, the cloned-voice TTS, song requests, action orchestration, and gift interrupts all run on the local machine. The stars didn't grow on GitHub organically. They came from the author's "cyber girlfriend" persona and stream traffic built up on Douyin over more than three months, plus second-hand spread from big Chinese AI accounts on X doing "breakdowns and clones."
1. Data
| Metric | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Repo created | 2026-10-24 (Douyin posted the same day: "Happy weekend, stream version open-sourced") | Data card; Douyin post list (TikHub) |
| star / fork | 735 / 318 (data card 11-06); later that day the GitHub page showed 766 / 333 | GitHub repo_profile; github.com HTML |
| past 7 days | +382; single-day peak +159 (11-06); 11-05 also had +72 | Data card daily |
| curve | 10-26 64 → 10-29 309 (fastest growth in the 5 days after open-sourcing) → 11-01~11-04 slowed to about 25~30 a day → 11-05, 11-06 brought another wave | github repo_day |
| fork/star | About 43%, far below comparable large projects (Fay at 17%, Open-LLM-VTuber at 12%) | GitHub repo |
| trending | Charted for 0 days (repo under 60 days old at the time, not counted) | Data card |
| Companion repos | cyber-xiaoya-danmaku 67★ / 61 fork | github.com HTML |
| Author's other repos | beiyege-01/dsh-voice-ai-girlfriend 978★ / 288 forks (7~September's local Xiaoya); clouddh-share 114★; image2-prompt-optimizer 51★ | github.com HTML |
The unusually high fork ratio has a practical cause: the README states this is "not a double-click-to-run finished product"; you have to supply your own avatar, voice, and Vidu key, and following the steps takes about 1 hours. People who want to run their own stream have to fork it and change the persona and config, so forking isn't just bookmarking. The README also includes the line "any paid resale, proxy download, or proxy deployment is unauthorized," which suggests people are already reselling or deploying it for others.
2. Why it took off
2.1 The Douyin persona went viral first; GitHub just caught the overflow
Douyin account "Tiangong Kaizhen": 54.3k followers, 214k likes, 95 posts, and live at the time of capture (Douyin profile, scraped via Jina). Post timeline (Douyin API via TikHub):
- 2026-07-19 "My cyber girlfriend can't possibly be this cute!" 35k likes, 10k shares, 6198 saves; 07-22 "Boss Pi, you're wrong" 143k likes, 78k shares. Both carry #vibecoding大赏 #ai新星计划 @抖音科技, Douyin's official VibeCoding campaign, so the platform campaign drove much of the reach.
- 07-27 A local-version tutorial came out (Whisper + llama.cpp + Qwen3-TTS + speech-to-speech); in August it became a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin version, corresponding to the GitHub repo dsh-voice-ai-girlfriend 978★.
- 09-12 "Pure cloud digital-human wallpaper" 3446 likes; 09-17 "Now adapted for the s2 version... streaming past 7 pm at night." Vidu S2 is a real-time digital-human model released 2026-09-16 (PR Newswire / Beijing Business Today), and the author hooked it up the day after release.
- 09-22 "Xiaoya, are you disgusted with me?" 9875 likes / 2698 shares.
- From October on, every night, Xiaoya ran on the Vidu S2 build live on Douyin, with chat commands triggering actions, singing, and speaking dialects. Gary Cao (Gary曹淦) 10-20 wrote, "Now every stream opens with thousands of people watching."
- 10-24 "Happy weekend, stream version open-sourced. Ugh, review can't keep up, I'm exhausted, might as well open everything": 2087 likes, 2399 saves, 721 shares. Saves outnumber likes, the typical pattern of "bookmark it and come back to follow it."
Bilibili was small: 2274 followers, top video 24.6k views (Bilibili API). YouTube has 118 subscribers. Douyin is the main home.
2.2 Big Chinese AI accounts on X pass it along: first break it down, then clone it, then shout "make money"
- Yu-ge Xiang Qian Chong @xiangxiang103: in July reposted the local version, claiming "480k people have seen it, 3790 saves"; 10-11 then posted "This author already has Cyber Xiaoya streaming on Douyin," and 10-12 added a breakdown (correcting it to Vidu S2 cloud), with a Vidu invite code "get 5000 credits, limited to 2000 people." Vidu's open platform had been running this invite promotion since September (aipromonow 2026-09-15). Another account, @huoshan007, reposted the same copy, saying "that post hit 160k."
- Gary Cao (Gary曹淦) @GaryAIytb, 10-20 long post "The AI real-time beauty streamer with thousands online on Douyin, I built one too (now open-sourced)": breaks down Xiaoya's "human presence" (the background of her looking at her phone, soft low-res image, a reply about every 20 seconds, a small real-person window in the corner), and open-sourced a clone, garycaogan/ai-live-avatar (MIT, 437★).
- Huang Xiaomu @ai_xiaomu 10-20 reposted Gary's post: "Digital-human collapse plan, open-sourced. Go to WeChat Channels or Douyin and harvest the lower-tier market," 55.6k views. A comment: "Lower-tier market... a beauty streamer who streams for 24 hours, who wouldn't be hooked?"
- All of this happened before the official repo 10-24 was built. Before the original, closed-source version had a fan-made clone open-sourced first, demand had already been built up, and the author was chased to open-source it (Douyin copy: "Can't keep up with the reviews... just open everything"). After it went open, it gained about 250★ in the first 5 days, riding that pent-up demand.
- It was later picked up by aggregators and a Japanese site: it was listed in Japan's AIxEC "AI OSS Timeline" 10-30, an English AI podcast 10-27 did an episode on it, and GitRank indexed it.
2.3 Why people star / fork it (reasons to stick around)
- You can see it working: the first screen of the README is a Douyin live-stream screenshot plus a 6-second original clip with sound. Behind the project is a stream that really goes live every night, not a demo.
- People want to make money from it: the pitch on X is "lower-tier market," "streams for 24 hours," "growing an account." People fork it to start their own streams. The costs are clear too: Vidu charges 1 credits per second, and Gary measured about 169 yuan per hour; the author runs the LLM and TTS locally, avoiding cloud subscriptions.
- The engineering pitfalls are documented: Vidu signaling "success sends no receipt, don't resend, send needs a timeout, pure TTS has no packets for 252 seconds"; single-writer control of the video feed; action priority "VIP > manual click > orchestration > chat"; chat passes through dm_router before reaching the LLM; yielding during songs. All of this is written up on the blog (tgkz-blog.vercel.app/tools/cyber-xiaoya-live/), and no other Vidu wrapper documents it this thoroughly.
- Ongoing updates: 11-04 gift module demo, YouTube says "we'll be putting more effort into continued development". 11-05, 11-06 picked up again, timing lines up with the gift module livestreams / new videos, but I couldn't pin down which one drove the traffic (see unknowns).
3. Competitors
| Name | Where | Launched | Scale | How it differs from Xiaoya |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| garycaogan/ai-live-avatar | Open source | 2026-10-19/20 | 437★ / 120 fork | A direct clone of Xiaoya, also on Vidu S2, MIT-licensed; open-sourced 4 days before the official version, but without the original stream's fame |
| jacke-pp/open-yoki | Open source | 2026-10-28 | 1333★ / 74 fork | Server-side headless Chrome + RTMP, main base on Binance Square (market data, posting, the TwinOasis crypto narrative); the audience is crypto, not Douyin's lower-tier market |
| Open-LLM-VTuber | Open source | 2023-11 | 14.6k★ | Live2D AI voice companion, desktop-companion focused, not a realistic human-like digital-human livestream |
| xszyou/Fay | Open source | 2022-06 | 13.6k★ | Digital-human agent framework for business integration and selling products, a framework-level tool rather than a finished livestream room |
| lipku/LiveTalking | Open source | 2023-12 | 10.3k★ | Local real-time lip-sync digital human that you render yourself; realism and motion aren't as good as Vidu S2 |
| moeru-ai/airi | Open source | 2024-12 | 51k★ | Self-hosted AI VTuber (a Neuro-sama clone), anime-style Live2D / VRM route |
| Duix-Mobile / aigcpanel / DH_live / VirtualWife | Open source | 2023-2024 | 2k~8k★ | Local digital human / synthesis, or a Bilibili virtual girlfriend; none of them has the full pipeline of danmaku-driven actions plus cloud real-time rendering |
| "Big Fat Fish" DSH livestream plugin group (luckui/dsh-livestream and a dozen-plus others) | Open source | 2026-09~11 | 0~80★ each | DeepSeek fan-made character + Live2D, a small project from the same AI livestream wave, no human-like realism |
| Vidu's official real-time digital human / commercial digital-human livestreams from Alibaba Cloud, SiliconFlow, etc. | Big-company features | Vidu S2 2026-09-16 | Not verified | The official release only gives the model and API; face, voice and replies are all hosted. Xiaoya brings the brain and voice back local and adds a stage-control layer |
| Local versions cloned from HeiXia2077/live-avatar and similar | Open source | 2026-08 | Not verified | Clones the local version of July's Xiaoya, not the livestream version |
4. Growth tactics (evidence)
| Channel | Evidence | Confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| The author's own Douyin short videos + nightly livestreams | 54.3k followers; July's two hit posts got 35k / 143k likes; 10-24 open-source video 2399 saves; README says "search 天工开帧 in the Douyin livestream room, often live at night" | Yes |
| Douyin official campaign #VibeCoding Awards #AINewStars @Douyin Tech | 7~August hit videos all carried this topic | Yes (whether it got official traffic support is unverified) |
| Chinese AI big-account breakdowns / reposts on X | Yu Ge 向前冲 (two posts), huoshan007, Gary Cao Gan's long post, Huang Xiaomu 55.6k views | Yes |
| Reverse traffic from clone makers | Gary's article and ai-live-avatar both credit the original author and GitHub; reposting sites (diedong, baoshare, aiezz, hyperindex) spread it further | Yes |
| Zhihu / blog tutorials | Zhihu posts like "Local no-limits AI girlfriend, full Cyber Xiaoya tutorial", mostly covering the local version | Yes |
| Vidu platform promotion (invite credits) | Yu Ge's breakdown post includes a Vidu "5000 credits, limited to 2000 slots" invite code; the livestream picture carries the "Digital human Vidu S2" label | Partly (whether the author and Vidu have a commercial deal is unverified) |
| WeChat groups / official group | README mentions "this project's official group" and "most used by group members" | Yes (group size unknown) |
| Overseas aggregator sites | Japan's AIxEC AI OSS Timeline 10-30, English AI podcast 10-27 | Yes (the traffic they brought is very small) |
5. Differentiation, and whether that's why it took off
- Component architecture: Vidu only handles rendering (text / PCM / motion in, WebRTC video out); the LLM, cloned voice, persona, danmaku and playlists all run locally. Your freedom sits between "fully local (a full day to set up, eats VRAM)" and "fully cloud (the platform controls everything)".
- Stage-control layer: dm_router turns danmaku into commands, with aliases, a blocklist and confirmation prompts; action priority with gift cut-ins, yielding during songs, a watchdog with auto-reconnect, and server-side recording. This is livestream engineering that can run for hours, not a chat demo.
- A ready-made, proven character: Gary identifies Xiaoya's base-image aesthetic (head down reading danmaku, chin in hand, a hazy feel) as the key to "human presence". The repo ships no avatar, but everyone knows what to copy.
Is it the reason?: Differentiation is why people stay and actually fork, but it isn't why people notice. What gets noticed is the author's persona built on Douyin (hits from July plus nightly livestreams) and the "making money" narrative in X circles. Timing matters too: Vidu S2 had just launched in 9-16, the author adapted it the next day, and it was the first human-like digital human to broadcast on Douyin with several thousand viewers online.
6. Visibility
Word in niche circles: The Chinese AI creator community (on X: 雨哥, Gary, 黄小木; on Douyin and Zhihu) has widely dissected and cloned it. But there has been no coverage from mainstream outlets like TechCrunch or 36氪, almost nobody overseas knows about it, and it hasn't appeared on GitHub trending. The project is free, and the author has never publicly disclosed revenue (tips and gift income unknown).
7. Copycats
- garycaogan/ai-live-avatar (437★, 10-20, an explicit clone);
- Local clones like HeiXia2077/live-avatar (Zhihu article); Gary's "Wanwan" livestream room;
- open-yoki (1333★) appeared around the same time and was moved to Binance Square; whether it's a copycat is unverified;
- The README says people are selling it for money and offering paid deployment, so gray-market resale and deployment services already exist.
8. What others can learn
- Build a character IP on content platforms first, then open-source the tool: Douyin saves and shares turn directly into GitHub stars and forks; GitHub is just the landing page.
- Grab the first finished use case as soon as a new model API drops: Vidu S2 9-16 launched, the author adapted it in 9-17, and went live in October. When a base capability is first released, whoever builds the first watchable product takes most of the attention.
- The README leads with real footage, states up front that this is not a finished product, then gives a 1-hour setup guide, and labels the only official source to deter resellers.
- Turning troubleshooting into engineering docs (signaling rules, priority queues) shows the depth of the "original" among a pile of clones.
- The "making money" narrative (lower-tier markets, livestreaming for 24 hours straight) spreads fastest in Chinese X circles, but it also invites resellers and platform review risk.
9. Unknowns
- The second spike for 11-05、11-06 (+72, +159) couldn't be traced to a specific post or video; it could be a live stream from the 11-04 gift module, a new Douyin video, or a big account reposting it.
- Whether the author and Vidu (Shengshu Technology) have a sponsorship or partnership; the "5000 credits" is a public Vidu invite campaign and can't be used to conclude it's paid promotion.
- Real concurrent viewer counts and tip revenue on the Douyin livestream room: the only data point is Gary's line "several thousand online".
- Whether Douyin will restrict unattended AI digital-human livestreams (the author mentions "review" several times in videos).
- The GitHub API daily quota ran out, so the stargazer geographic distribution and issue / PR details weren't retrieved.
