# From 0 to 3,000 stars in a month: he gave a creator with no computer a desktop version

**What it is** A free, open-source Windows app. Paste a share link from Quark, UC, Baidu Netdisk and other cloud drives, or a Douyin or Bilibili work link, and it downloads straight to your computer with multithreading, no need to save to your own drive first.

**Why it blew up** After the Android version of Yunxi went viral on Bilibili, the most common user question was "is there a PC version?" The original author has no computer, so couldn't build one. tidain made the port, was brought into the upstream project as a collaborator, and the README pointed straight to it. Bilibili resource accounts then relayed it with "the PC version is finally here."

**B** **How you can follow suit** Don't build another cloud-drive parser. Copy the playbook: find an open-source project that's blowing up but only exists on one platform, build the missing side first, then go after that one line in the upstream README, "official X version here."

Grade B: the playbook of filling the missing platform and earning official credit is clear and has been proven (a similar feature project got only 40% of its stars). But this slot in Yunxi is already taken, so swapping projects means betting you can find one that's blowing up and whose upstream is willing to give credit. The cloud-drive category also carries account-ban and legal risk. Chatter in the small circles

YunX-Desktop is the Windows version of Yunxi, a viral Android cloud-drive downloader. The repo was created in Sep 5, and for the first month almost nobody looked at it. In Oct 2 the author was brought into the Android repo as a collaborator, and the name changed from "community port" to "official desktop client." Two days later the stars started climbing, reaching 6 stars by Nov 3,152, and the installer was downloaded 155k times. It invented nothing new. What it got was the slot a project that was already hot had left open, plus credit from the original author. Below: why that slot was open, how much the credit was worth, where the stars came from, and whether this playbook works elsewhere.

### Oct 2, morning 8:40

The YunX-Desktop README has a FAQ entry titled "Why did it change from 'third-party port' to 'official desktop version'?" The answer gives a timestamp down to the minute: **2026 Oct 2, morning 8:40** , desktop author tidain joined the Android repo as a collaborator.

Around the same day, the Android Yunxi README (CYQawa/YunX) changed too. The second line of the intro now reads "This repo is the Android app; the official PC client is YunX-Desktop," and the FAQ gained a new entry:

> Is there a PC version? Yes. The official PC client is developed and maintained by collaborator 雑魚 (tidain)... Because the author has no computer and cannot develop a PC client, PC development and maintenance is handled independently by 雑魚, and the author does not take part.

By then the Android version had about 3,500 stars (10-01), and dozens of Bilibili videos had promoted it. The desktop version had been in development for nearly a month: the first release went out in Sep 5, and on Sep 18 the Bilibili account "by-yibai" posted an intro video, which has 3,717 views to date (Bilibili, 11-06). Later, the description of 小菱awa's video thanked "@by-yibai's Windows port," and this account is most likely the author himself (inference). During that month, its daily record on trendshift showed +0 stars per day. An intro article posted on Zhihu in Oct 17 still said "currently forty-seven stars," so the draft was clearly written before October. From Oct 4 onward: +10, +25, +91... By Oct 6 it reached #3 on trendshift's Kotlin chart.

The code is still the same code. What changed were two lines in the Android README.

### What it is

A Windows desktop app. Paste a cloud-drive share link (Quark, UC, Thunder, Baidu, 139, 123, 115, Guangya, Lanzou; extraction codes are detected automatically) and it lists the files. One click downloads them to your computer in parallel chunks with resumable transfers, with no need to save to your drive first and no need to install each provider's client. Work links from Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Kuaishou, Weibo, Bilibili, AcFun, and Pixiv can also be parsed and downloaded directly. Later it added magnet / BT / ed2k, plus a Chrome / Edge extension "Yunxi Download Helper" that takes over browser downloads and runs them multithreaded. There are two packages, a portable no-install build and an installer (README, 11-06).

Written in Kotlin + Compose Multiplatform, the same language and UI framework as the Android version. That's what makes it possible for one person to bring a phone app to the desktop. The first screen of the README, like the Android one, has two sentences: "Yunxi is free and open source forever; if you paid for it, you were scammed" and "Using Baidu Netdisk is not recommended, as it may get your account flagged."

### Why this slot was open

After the Android version blew up on Bilibili in August, the question most often asked in the comments was "is there a PC version?" (Smzdm article 8-23). The Android author publicly said he had no computer and couldn't build one.

Tools for PC existed, but each fell a little short:

| Tool | What it is | What's different |
|---|---|---|
| Userscripts like LinkSwift | Browser scripts, 38k stars | They fetch direct links to files in your own drive, require IDM / aria2, and don't take other people's share links directly |
| netdisk-fast-download | Self-hosted parsing services, 3.4k stars | Aimed at site operators and developers, not something you can install and use |
| BaiduPCS-Go, pan-light, PanDownload | Veteran desktop tools, 6k–12k stars | Baidu-only and mostly unmaintained; the PanDownload author was arrested in 2020 |
| MoePal / Moe Assistant | Closed-source Windows client | Requires sign-up and redemption codes; on Bilibili, Yunxi was called "MoePal's free alternative" |
| z7786/wenxi (Wenxi Assistant) | Android + Windows, launched 9-19 | Nearly identical positioning, 1,316 stars, only 40% of the Yunxi desktop version |

Wenxi is the best control group: it launched two weeks later, is also dual-platform and free, claims support for 16 cloud drives, and matches it on features. What it lacks is a ready-made brand and an upstream repo pointing to it.

### How the stars grew

| Timeline | stars | What happened |
|---|---|---|
| 09-05 | Repo created | v1.1.1 released |
| 09-16 to 10-03 | +0 per day | trendshift daily record |
| 10-02 | — | Author becomes an Android collaborator, renamed "official desktop client" |
| From ¥10-04 | +10, +25, +91... | 10-06 on trendshift Kotlin chart, #3 |
| 10-09 | About 340 | |
| 10-16, 10-18 | | Two Bilibili videos, 16.4k and 25.4k views |
| 10-17 | 712 | |
| 10-28 | 1,827 (424 in a single day) | Previous day v1.3.0 had been out three days; trigger source unverified |
| 11-02 | 2,598 (219 in a single day) | Previous day's 小菱awa video |
| 11-06 | 3,152,217 fork | +1,044 over the last 7 days, +976 over the first 7 days, still accelerating |

Star counts come from GitHub's daily records and trendshift. Over the last two weeks the desktop version has been gaining more stars per day than the Android version, e.g., 11-02 desktop +219, Android +101.

Downloads tell a clearer story than stars. Across 16 versions, the installers add up to about 155k downloads. The v1.3.3 release (shipped 10-31) hit 55k downloads in 6 days, and v1.3.0 (10-25) reached 42k. The 8 versions shipped before Oct 4 have only about 1,600 downloads combined as of today (GitHub Releases, 11-06). Stars and downloads sit at roughly 1:49, which means most of the people installing it are regular users, not developers who star repos out of habit.

### Where users come from

**Upstream repo, the main channel.** The Android version has 6,500 stars and over 260k installer downloads, and its readers reach this repo by clicking the second line of the README. The timeline fits: the rename came on 10-02, and star growth started on 10-04.

**Bilibili resource-sharing accounts.** The videos promoting the desktop version came with ready-made titles. Qinglin Tongxue 10-18: "Made by a folk expert, an APP that supports 13 mainstream cloud drives with unthrottled downloads, the PC version is finally here!" 25.4k views, 3,090 favorites. The resource community 10-16: "Blown up! ... The latest open-source tool on GitHub! Free forever" 16.4k views, 2,872 favorites. 小菱awa's 11-01 video got 14.8k views (Bilibili, 11-06). Note that in most of these video descriptions, the first download link is a Quark cloud drive link, with the GitHub link placed further down or omitted entirely. The resource accounts are using it to drive sign-ups to their own cloud drives (inference). I found no evidence the author paid for promotion.

The words "the PC version is finally here" are the key. The Android version had already educated users for it, so the desktop version didn't need to explain what it was, only announce that it had arrived.

**Chinese software sites and forums.** CSDN (10-12, 10-16, 10-22 multiple articles), a5.org.cn (10-15), Zhihu (10-17), linux.do resource roundup (10-29), plus SourceForge mirrors. Almost nobody in the English-speaking world mentioned it, and I couldn't find a single post on X in 90 days.

**trendshift Kotlin chart.** Charting almost daily from 10-05, it peaked at #1 on 10-27. GitHub's official trending page never picked it up (the repo was too new).

**Releases.** 16 versions in two months. In late October it shipped a new version every two or three days, and each one came with something you could use as a video title: video parsing, a browser extension, BT downloads.

### How much the credit was really worth

Comparing the projects in the same slot:

| Project | Approach | stars |
|---|---|---|
| tidain/YunX-Desktop | Yunxi's Windows port, officially recognized by upstream | 3,152 |
| z7786/wenxi | A self-built dual-platform aggregator parser, two weeks later | 1,316 |
| huaotem-bot/gezi-quark-downloader | Windows only, Quark only, launched 10-04 | 610 |
| jiayuxuan123/YunGet | YunX Android, re-forged | 348 |
| ikooc/baidujiexi_app | Flutter, both platforms, Baidu only | 237 |
| Cherry1Jay/yunx-desktop-linux, mu-zi-lee/YunX-Docker | Then ported again from the desktop version | Small |

With similar features, the one that got pointed to by the upstream has more than twice the stars of the strongest rival; the one that didn't was, like everyone else, 0 for that month.

### Gray zone

- **The legal risk is real.** PanDownload's author was arrested in 2020 on charges of providing tools that intrude into computer information systems, and that case involved paid fees. YunX is entirely free, so the risk is lower, but not zero.

- **User accounts can get banned.** Both platforms' READMEs advise against using Baidu Netdisk, and Bilibili comments include people saying their accounts were banned.

- **It can break at any time.** If the netdisk changes its API or risk control, parsing stops working; if the upstream stops, the downstream loses its traffic too.

- **Repackaged, paid resale versions** have always existed; the README includes a disclaimer specifically to guard against them.

### If it were you

**B** The playbook itself is clear and has been proven: port an open-source project that blew up but lacks a platform, get official recognition from the upstream, and go from zero to 0–3,000 stars in a month. But YunX's slot in this has already been taken; to do it with another project, you'd be betting that you can find the next upstream that is exploding and willing to give you that recognition.

**Who it's for:** Developers who can move a project to another platform on their own, especially when the upstream uses a cross-platform stack (Kotlin / Compose Multiplatform, Flutter, React Native, Tauri), where most of the same code carries over; people willing to follow the upstream's versions over the long term.

**Who it's not for:** Anyone who wants to build a brand that's "their own" (the stars you get are credited to you, but users remember the upstream's name); anyone unwilling to tie themselves to someone else's roadmap; anyone who wants to charge money. In the netdisk-parsing category, anyone in China who is real-name registered and wants to avoid any legal risk should also stay away.

**How to do it:**

1. **Find an upstream.** Watch GitHub for projects that have grown fastest over the past month or two but exist on only one platform: Android-only, macOS-only, CLI-only, web-only. Then search its issues and comments for "desktop version," "Windows," "iOS," "is there a GUI"; the more people asking, the better. If the original author has publicly said "I'm not doing it," that's the best signal.

2. **Build it first, then ask for the recognition.** tidain spent nearly a month doing a community port and shipped 7 versions before being pulled into the upstream. When you open an issue, attach a working installer directly and propose "I'll maintain the X port, you point to it in the README" — that's far more effective than offering verbally.

3. **Align with the upstream.** Use the same license (here AGPL), the same name prefix, and the same anti-resale notice, so users recognize you as the same team; match the upstream's release cadence and catch up quickly on any features it adds.

4. **What's left in netdisk parsing:** YunX's Windows, Linux, and Docker versions already have people building them; a macOS version hasn't been publicly seen yet (unverified, search first). Don't build yet another Windows netdisk parser.

**How to get users:** You don't need to make your own videos. The line in the upstream's README gives you the first batch of traffic; after that, write one update line per release that works as a headline ("Desktop version is finally here," "Mac version is out," "BT support added"), and Bilibili resource accounts plus repost accounts on linux.do and CSDN will find you on their own. Getting onto trendshift's language-specific charts is much easier than getting onto GitHub's official trending, and new repos can make it too.

**When the window is:** Porting has a first-come, first-served nature, since upstreams usually recognize only one official port. Once you see a project blow up, you need a working version within a month; if someone else gets recognized as official first, the chance is basically gone. For netdisk tools, download peaks come around winter break and right before school resumes in late February.

**Signs you've misread it:** ① The port you built, after the upstream README points to it, still hasn't reached a few hundred stars two weeks later; the project's users didn't really lack that platform. ② The upstream has already recognized someone else, or has started building that platform itself; the slot is gone, don't fight for it. ③ The YunX line gets a legal letter, takedown, or the author stops updating; the legal risk has materialized, don't follow this category anymore. ④ Conversely, if the desktop version's new stars drop below 300 over the last 7 days, this round of demand has been used up.

## Why tidain/YunX-Desktop (YunX Windows desktop) took off

> Research date 2026-11-06. Data sources: our GitHub database (repo_profile / repo_day, daily snapshots in Beijing time), trendshift.io, GitHub repo pages, Bilibili API (queried from a machine in our China office), What's Worth Buying, Zhihu, Pojie forum, linux.do, and others.

### Bottom line

It isn't a product that appeared out of nowhere. It's the **PC version of the Android netdisk parser "YunX" (CYQawa/YunX, 6503 stars), which had already gone viral on Bilibili once** . For months, the most frequent question in the Android version's comments was "Is there a desktop version?"; the Android author is a middle schooler without a computer and couldn't build one. tidain first made a community port, and in October 2 was pulled into the upstream repo as a collaborator, renamed "Official Windows desktop client," and the upstream README's "Is there a PC version?" question now points directly to it. Suppressed demand plus the "official" label brought the stars, and then Bilibili uploaders' "Desktop version is finally here"-style videos kept pushing them higher.

### 1. Basic data

- Repo created 2026-09-05, AGPL-3.0, Kotlin + Compose Multiplatform (Desktop); tidain has only this one repo under their name (github repo_profile).

- 2026-11-06:3152 stars / 217 forks; +1044 over the last 7 days, +976 over the first 7 days; single-day peak +424 (Beijing-time snapshot 10-28; trendshift records it as 10-27 +311, 10-28 +206). Forks/stars about 6.9%, suspect field empty, no flags for suspicious star-farming.

- Where the star climb began (day by day, per trendshift): 9-16 to 10-03 gained +0 per day; **it only started climbing from 10-04** (+10, +25, +91…), and by 10-06 it reached #3 on trendshift's Kotlin chart; on 10-27 it gained +311 in a single day and hit #1 on the Kotlin chart.
    - This starting point lines up exactly with **10-02, when tidain became an upstream collaborator and was renamed "Official desktop client"** (README FAQ: "On Oct 2 2026 morning 8:40, the desktop version's author (tidain) joined the Android repo as a collaborator").
    - Zhihu's article from 10-17 still says "currently 47 stars," which shows that piece was written before early October and also confirms that almost nobody was looking at it before October (https://zhuanlan.zhihu.com/p/2094836821645645800).

- Upstream CYQawa/YunX: 3476 stars when the repo was created on 2026-08-06,10-01, 6503 stars at 11-06, and recently gaining +60~200 per day (github repo_day). Over the past two weeks, the desktop version's daily star gains have exceeded the Android version's (e.g., 11-02 desktop +219, Android +101).

- Release cadence is fast: v1.3.0 (10-25), v1.3.1 (10-29), v1.3.2 preview (10-31, adds browser extension), v1.3.3 (10-31, adds magnet / BT / ed2k) (GitHub Releases page).

### 2. What it is

Paste netdisk share links (Quark / UC / Xunlei / Baidu / 139 / 123 / 115 / Guangya / Lanzou, with automatic extraction-code matching) or short-video links (Douyin / Xiaohongshu / Kuaishou / Weibo / Bilibili / AcFun / Pixiv) to browse content, preview it online, and download it locally with Range-based multi-threaded parallel downloading and resume. There's also magnet / BT support, GitHub mirror speed testing, a Chrome/Edge extension "YunX Download Helper" that takes over browser downloads, progress bars in the Windows notification center, and both portable and installer packages. Login uses an embedded Chromium, imports cookies from your local browser, or accepts a manually pasted cookie; credentials are stored only on your machine (repo README). Essentially the same kind of thing as PanDownload: no transfer-to-your-own-drive step, no need to install the official client, and it bypasses speed limits for non-members. The README itself says "Using Baidu Netdisk is not recommended, as it may trigger account risk controls."

### 3. Competitors

| Name | Form | Launched | Scale | Differences from the YunX desktop version |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CYQawa/YunX (YunX for Android) | Open-source Android | 2026-08-06 | 6503 stars; 16-day Release APK downloads of 36k+ since August (What's Worth Buying) | It's the upstream. Mobile only, which is exactly the opening for a desktop version. |
| LinkSwift (hmjz100, a netdisk direct-link download helper family) | Open-source Tampermonkey script | 2022-08 | 37996 stars, +1796 in the last 7 days | A browser script that can only fetch direct links from your own netdisk account, and still needs IDM / Aria2. YunX is a standalone client that takes share links directly. |
| qaiu/netdisk-fast-download | Open-source self-hosted service / web | 2023-04 | 3442 stars | You have to deploy the service yourself, so it's aimed at site operators and developers, not regular users with a client. |
| MoePal / Moe Assistant | Closed-source Windows client, paid via license keys | Operating for years | July promo video 110k plays (什么值得买) | Paid, closed-source, requires signup. YunX pitches itself as the free, open-source alternative to Moe (萌娘). |
| z7786/wenxi (Wenxi Assistant) | Open-source Android + Windows | 2026-09-19 | 1316 stars; 9-27 posts on 吾爱破解; Bilibili video "costs 2B tokens" with 8346 plays | A contemporaneous dual-platform aggregate parser claiming 16 netdisk providers, with nearly the same positioning, but only about 40% of YunX Desktop's stars. |
| huaotem-bot/gezi-quark-downloader (鸽子下载) | Open-source Windows | 2026-10-04 | 610 stars | Quark only |
| ikooc/baidujiexi_app | Open-source Flutter for Android / Win | 2026-10-12 | 237 stars | Baidu-only, relies on remote config |
| Chenxing netdisk parser | Android | 2026-09 (吾爱破解 thread) | Not verified | Niche peers |
| BaiduPCS-Go, the PanDownload family, pan-light, etc. | Long-standing open-source / closed-source | 2019–2020 | 0.6–12k stars, mostly no longer maintained | Baidu only. The PanDownload author was arrested 2020 years ago, so this lane has criminal precedent. |
| Official memberships (Baidu SVIP / Quark SVIP / 88VIP with Quark access) | Big-company features | — | — | Compliant, but you pay. YunX's users are the people who don't want to pay that cost. |

Bottom line: this lane is crowded, but the combination of "open-source + free + multi-netdisk + video parsing + native Windows desktop client + official backing" is currently held only by this project.

### 4. Where users come from (growth tactics)

1. **Upstream repo referral (confirmed, main channel)** : the Android README says "This repo is the Android app; the official PC client is at YunX-Desktop," and the FAQ states "Is there a PC version? Yes. The official PC client is maintained by collaborator 雑魚 (tidain)." The Android version has 6500 stars and tens of thousands of downloads, and its readers are naturally the desktop version's users. Stars started climbing right after the 10-02 "promotion" in 10-04.

2. **Bilibili re-upload / software-recommendation UPs (confirmed)** : the Android version of August got its traction from Bilibili. For example, 林灵玲の科技小屋's video 8-17 drew 51k views and 4139 favorites, and 小特_XT's video 8-09 drew 15.7k views (Bilibili API). The Android version's comments are full of "is there a PC version?" questions (什么值得买 8-23 article). For the desktop version, the related videos this round include:
    - by-yibai 9-18 "YunX-Desktop (云析桌面版)" 3717 plays
    - 资源汇社区 10-16 "Amazing! ...the newest open-source tool on GitHub" 16.4k plays, 2872 favorites
    - 青临同学 10-18 "...the desktop version is finally here!" 25.4k plays, 3090 favorites
    - 小菱awa 11-01 14.8k plays, 1003 favorites

The timing of 11-01, 11-02 desktop version +219, +224 lines up with the 小菱awa video. Most of these UPs are "resource-sharing" accounts, and many put download links in netdisk rather than GitHub, so they're riding the trend to grow their own followings. No evidence shows the author paid for promotion.

1. **Chinese software sites / forums / self-media reposts (confirmed)** : a5.org.cn (10-15), several CSDN posts (10-12, 10-16, 10-22), Zhihu (10-17), the linux.do "resource roundup" (10-29,210 views), 吾爱破解 (Android version, August), Threads, retweets from a small X account (魏咕咕响), plus SourceForge mirrors.

2. **trendshift Kotlin chart (confirmed)** : it has been on the chart almost daily since 10-05, and 10-27 reached #1, which brought it a second wave of exposure in the dev community. GitHub's official trending only picks up repos after about 60 days, and it has only been 11-04 for 60 days. Our database shows trending_days_any as 0, so official trending is not where it came from.

3. **The direct trigger for the single-day +10-27/28/+311 on 424: unverified** . Known events before and after include v1.3.0 (10-25), v1.3.1 (10-29), and the linux.do post (10-29, Beijing time morning), whose view count is too small to explain the peak. Likely candidates are Douyin, Xiaohongshu, or a specific Bilibili video, but I couldn't find it.

### 5. Why it took off

- **Demand had been building for a long time, and it happened to be read as "official"** : after the Android version blew up, a PC version was the most-requested feature, and the Android author publicly said they couldn't build it. tidain moved from "third-party port" to "official desktop client" on 10-02, and the upstream README sent traffic straight over. The star curve starts climbing from that point.

- **Borrowing a brand that's already proven** : the name "YunX / 云析" was already popularized on Bilibili by dozens of videos ("Moe alternative"). The desktop version doesn't have to educate users; one line, "the desktop version is finally here," is enough.

- **Real demand plus timing** : 9–October covers the school-enrollment and civil-exam prep season, and netdisk throttling has been a pain point every year. The free Moe helper requires license keys, so users were looking for a free alternative.

- **Free, open-source, and anti-resale** : the first screen of the README says "YunX is forever free and open-source; if you paid for it, you were scammed." In a lane full of license-key sales and repackaged builds, that is itself a trust signal.

- **Integrated features, fast iteration** : netdisk + short-video parsing + BT + browser extension + GitHub acceleration, all packed into one native Windows app. Seven or eight releases in one month, each giving UPs a new topic.

### 6. Differentiation

Compared with peers, the differences are: **a real native Windows client** (LinkSwift is a script, netdisk-fast-download is a service), **free and open-source** (Moe / MoePal sell license keys), **one entry point covering 10 netdisk providers and 7 video platforms** (the BaiduPCS family only does Baidu, gezi only does Quark), and **official backing and upstream traffic** (wenxi is also dual-platform, but has no existing brand). What actually pushed it up is the last item, "official backing + upstream referral"; the first three are conditions that make people willing to install and star, but wenxi meets them too and only got 40% of the stars.

### 7. How many people can see it

- "Circulating in niche circles" is more like "already widely spread in the Chinese software community": dozens of Bilibili videos (peaking around 50k plays, and most about the Android version), two analysis posts on 什么值得买, Zhihu, CSDN, and 吾爱破解. Almost nobody mentions it in the English world. Our X corpus (x-radar) found 90 posts for "YunX / 云析" over the last 0 days.

- No real revenue; only an in-app tip QR code.

### 8. Copycats

- Direct downstream / ports: mu-zi-lee/YunX-Docker (linked from the README, based on this repo), Cherry1Jay/yunx-desktop-linux (unofficial Linux port), jiayuxuan123/YunGet (a rework of the Android YunX, 348 stars).

- Contemporaneous peers: z7786/wenxi "Wenxi Assistant" (1316 stars; on Bilibili someone is already promoting it as "works even better than YunX"), gezi-quark-downloader, baidujiexi_app, Chenxing netdisk parser.

- Resold / repackaged paid versions: the README specifically warns against them, and comments on 什么值得买 mention people "making money selling license keys."

### 9. What others can learn

- **Fill in platforms for an open-source project that's already popular but missing platforms** (mobile → PC, PC → Mac/Linux), then get the upstream to give an "official" stamp, and you inherit its brand and traffic directly. This is far more efficient than building a new tool from scratch.

- Put an anti-resale statement and clear risk notes (such as Baidu's risk control) on the first screen of the README. In a lane with a heavy gray-market vibe, that actually earns trust.

- Ship releases frequently, with each one bringing a new, filmable selling point (BT, browser extension, video parsing) to keep feeding Bilibili resource accounts' secondary spread.

### 10. Still unclear

- The direct source of the single-day +10-27/28/+311 on 424.

- Actual download counts: the desktop Release download numbers weren't retrieved this time because the GitHub API was rate-limited.

- Whether netdisk vendors blocking the API or legal risk (the PanDownload precedent) could suddenly shut the project down.

- Whether the Bilibili video authors were paid to promote: no evidence found.
