# India's job-group admins finally earn in dollars by forwarding listings: how artha.link climbed into the global top 60k in 8 months

**What it is** A job link for job-group admins and recruiting bloggers: the platform automatically feeds in relevant openings, followers click and apply, and the admin takes 70% of the money, which comes from recruiters' pay-per-result ads.

**Why it took off** India has thousands of WhatsApp and Telegram job groups that already forward listings for free. Swap in one link and they earn in dollars. The platform onboarded them in bulk and brought hundreds of thousands of job seekers to its pages.

**B** **How you could get in** Don't go head-to-head with it in India and the US. Go to markets nobody is working yet, like the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria, or Latin America. Plug in job-data sources like Jooble or Talent.com, and approach local job-group admins one by one. Or port the same model to coupon groups or rental-listing groups.

Grade B: the model is clear, few people know about it, and almost nobody is copying it yet. Porting it to another country isn't a high bar. But earnings depend on upstream recruiting-ad click prices and on how much recruiters tolerate lower-quality traffic. After the platform's cut, what's left is thin, and artha.link is already expanding into other countries. What people in small circles are saying

Global rank 58k · 90 days ago 431k

A dozen to a few dozen people at an outsourcing firm in Surat, India, built a "creator-led jobs" link. Group admins post it in their WhatsApp and Telegram job groups, and they get a cut each time a follower applies. It didn't buy ads. Its global rank climbed from around #430k to #58k in 90 days, and nearly all the traffic is Indian job seekers. Below: why it took off, where the money comes from, who else is in the race, and whether you could build one in another country or category.

### A group admin who posted jobs for years and earned nothing

Sivakumar runs a job channel in India called Job Campus India: over 30k students on WhatsApp and over 8k subscribers on YouTube. Every day he forwards tech jobs, internships, and campus recruiting to the group. To apply to one role, students have to jump between ten different sites. He himself earned not one cent.

Later he claimed a link of his own on artha.link. It opened a job page under the name Job Campus India, and on day one it automatically fed in over 2,100 matching tech roles. He posted the link to the group, "just like that." According to the case study on artha.link's site, it got over 1,000 clicks on day one and earned over $500 in the first week. Later a single link was getting over 3,000 clicks a day, with steady weekly earnings above $500.

The last paragraph of the case study spells out the whole trick: "He didn't change what he was doing. He didn't post more content, and he didn't run any ads."

India has thousands of admins like him. They were already doing this for free. artha.link just handed them a link that pays.

### What it is: a bio link sitting on top of a whole recruiting-ad system

Creators sign up and get a link like `artha.link/@yourname`. Depending on your niche (nursing, truck driving, retail, tech…), the platform refreshes thousands of listings every 2 hours and automatically swaps in similar open roles when one fills. Followers click through and apply. You see the numbers within 5–6 hours, and payouts go out around the 15th of each month. The minimum payout is $10 in India and $50 in the US (pricing page, 11-06).

Recruiters pay for it. Recruiting companies, agencies, and job aggregators already buy "programmatic recruiting ads" priced per click and per application. Sites like Talent.com and Jooble have run publisher revenue-share programs for years, but only for websites that can take an XML data feed. What artha.link did was wrap that mature pipeline in a link individuals can use. It keeps 30% and the creator gets 70%.

The team isn't new to this. They previously ran Artha Job Board, a SaaS that lets people build a job site in five minutes (it hit Hacker News in 2025 February). The job-data sources and the tech came from that era. The COO wrote on LinkedIn that the platform has over 8.2M live jobs.

### Why now: real traffic, from 7 to September in one burst

The product launched around 2026 March. Founder Pankit Gami posted updates on X and LinkedIn all along the way:

| Timeline | Founder self-reported |
|---|---|
| 05-08 | Creators had earned $36k within 2 months of launch |
| 06-11 | 25k applications in total |
| 09-02 | Daily active job seekers grew from 100 to 33k in 6 months, with $0 in marketing spend |
| 09-07 | Over $100k paid to creators in 6 months, 330k monthly active job seekers, 150k applications in total |
| 09-28 | Over 5,000 creators |

External data matches this curve. In the global website ranking (Tranco), it was still around #430k in Aug 6, reached #170k by late August, climbed to #100k in mid-September, slipped back to #120k in mid-October, then climbed again. Its latest reading is #58k, up more than 7x in 90 days. Chrome real-user data tells the story even more clearly: from September it entered the global top 50k and the top 5 thousand in India. Canada, the UK, the Philippines, Germany, and Indonesia are also trending up, but at much smaller scale.

These numbers point to two things. First, the traffic is real people, and most of it is in India. Second, the ranking gains come from job-seeker traffic, not creator traffic. 5,000 admins each brought in hundreds to thousands of job seekers.

Working backward from "paid out $100k, creators get 70%," total gross over the 6 months is roughly $140k, and the platform's own take is roughly $40k (my estimate, unverified). That's not a big business, but it has almost no acquisition cost, so the math works.

### Where users come from: admins bring the job seekers, the platform just recruits admins

There are two sides to this business.

**Job seekers** are brought in by the admins, and the platform doesn't have to manage that. Almost every case study on the official site is an Indian channel: Job Campus India, Walk-ins In Bangalore, WFH Seekers (over $2,000+ in its first week), PerfectHire (over $3,000+), and a creator named Akshata Bhat who earned $15k in 4 months. The official blog published a post in Nov 5 titled "How to earn money from sharing jobs in India," and the channels it names are Telegram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. One LinkedIn creator left a comment on the case study page: "I spend only 15 to 20 minutes a day sharing jobs."

**Admins** were recruited one by one by the platform itself. A founder post from Sep 28 was blunt about it: no paid acquisition, no ads, just outreach, partnerships, creator communities, and referrals. The specific tactics:

- **Case studies with numbers used as ads** : case-study titles literally read "$500+ in 3 days" and "$15k in 4 months."

- **Creators recruiting creators** : refer other creators in and earn up to 10% more.

- **Monthly challenges with physical prizes** : the top of the official site runs a November challenge, "get the most Talent Network members, win AirPods," and they also ran one in October.

- **Discord community and online launch events** : in Oct 21 they held a call with over 40 creators to announce new features.

- **A few paid Instagram partnership posts** : you can find nursing job posts labeled "paid partnership with artha.link." The scale is unclear, and it doesn't quite square with the "$0 in marketing" claim.

- **SEO landing pages** : YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram earnings calculators, 9 niche landing pages, 6 platform landing pages, plus a continuously updated blog.

It has almost no public profile. Its Product Hunt launch in Sep 8 got only 49 votes and finished 23nd on the daily chart, and its ranking slipped again afterward. On X, almost nobody discussed it in the last 90 days, and the founder's X account has only 335 followers. This is growth that only travels through small circles.

### Who it's competing with

In the niche of "paying individual creators per application," there's really only one direct rival.

| Competitors | How it differs from artha.link |
|---|---|
| Jobstream(getjobstream.com) | Backed by Recruitics, which started out in programmatic recruiting ads and has far more resources. It officially launched in Sep 2026 at the US recruiting conference RecFest USA. It only serves the US, pays $1–35 per valid US application, requires creators to be reviewed, and targets career coaches. Not yet in the global top 1M. |
| Revenue-share programs from Talent.com, Jooble, and Talroo | They only take websites that can plug in a data feed, which individuals can't do. artha.link is essentially a wrapper layered on top of them. |
| Linktree, Beacons, Stan, and India's Topmate | They monetize through courses, consulting, and brand deals, all of which require extra content creation. A job-forwarding group has nothing to sell. |
| How Indian job groups used to make money | Paid short links with ads, in-group ads, and free job sites like freejobalert. Low earnings, bad experience, and it damages the admin's credibility. This is what artha.link is actually replacing in India (my inference). |
| LinkedIn, Naukri, Apna | They compete for job seekers but don't pay the people who forward listings |

So right now it effectively owns the "India + no entry barrier" slice. But the moat is shallow. Job data can be bought, and anyone can build a link page. The hard parts are two things: getting high enough click prices, and convincing recruiters that the traffic is real people and qualified candidates. Its COO wrote it himself: "If recruiters can't get real clicks and applications, they will stop spending." The Talent Network launched in October (resume parsing, phone verification) is aimed squarely at that gap.

### What's still unclear

- **How much a click is worth** : click prices for local recruiting in India are very low. If most of the money comes from Indians clicking US or overseas jobs, recruiters will eventually push prices down or block that traffic. This is its biggest risk.

- **Click fraud** : paying per click naturally attracts bots. The official site keeps stressing "qualified clicks" and added phone verification, which suggests they've already run into it.

- **The numbers are self-reported** : the $100k in payouts and the 330k monthly actives both come from the founder's posts. The ranking can show that real traffic is growing, but it can't verify the dollar amounts.

- The reason for **the October dip** is unknown. It may be that a wave of traffic from a large September group had passed.

- **Who is actually paying** (which aggregators, which agencies) hasn't been disclosed.

### If it were you

**B: worth trying. The model is clear and almost nobody is copying it. But the money sits in the hands of upstream recruiting-ad buyers, the unit price is thin, and the platform already holds the India slice.**

**Who it's for** : people who are based in, or deeply know, a market full of big free job-info groups but with no good monetization. Think job groups in the Philippines, Indonesia, Nigeria, LatAm, or overseas labor groups outside India. Ideally someone on the team has done affiliate marketing or run a job board and can line up one or two job-data sources.

**Who it's not for** : anyone trying to go head-to-head with artha.link in India. It already has 5,000 group admins and a proven growth playbook. Anyone aiming at the US market, since Jobstream is backed by an established industry player. Anyone who only writes code, doesn't know any group admins, and won't cold-DM them one by one. 80% of this business is BD.

**How to do it** : don't go looking for employers first. Apply to the publisher programs of aggregators like Jooble and Talent.com, get their job feeds and per-click rates, then run the numbers for your target country: how many clicks a day a 30k-member job group can send, what each click is worth, and what's left after the admin takes 70%. If the math works, build a job page with: admin's name + auto-filled listings + same-day data + a low payout threshold. artha.link has already proven this, so copy the playbook. You can also swap the category: coupon groups, rental-listing groups, study-abroad groups. They already forward things for free and have performance-based ad budgets behind them, so the logic is the same.

**How to get users** : don't run ads, go find group admins one by one. Filter the top 100 from Telegram and WhatsApp channel directories and YouTube "daily jobs" channels, then DM each one a link that already has jobs filled in with their name on it. Once you've landed the first few, turn their earnings into case-study headlines, and add referral commissions and monthly prize draws.

**Timing** : the window isn't urgent, but artha.link's ranking is already climbing in Canada, the UK, the Philippines and Indonesia, which shows it's expanding. If you want to claim a country, try to sign the first few dozen big groups there before Q1 of 2027.

**What would mean you read it wrong** :

1. artha.link's global ranking falls back beyond 2026k by the end of 100 and doesn't recover: the admins' traffic isn't sticky, or the employers have cut their budgets.

2. The founder stops posting payout amounts, or starts sharply cutting revenue share and raising the payout threshold: per-click rates can't hold up.

3. The job-data source you secured in the target country pays so little per click that a 30k-member group can't earn even $50 a month. Group admins won't swap their links for that.

4. The reverse: if a similar product appears in the Philippines or Indonesia and reaches the global top 100k within six months, it means this model works in other countries too. Move fast.

## Why artha.link took off

> Channel: web (domain artha.link, pool C1, PH record on file). Research date 2026-11-07.

### One line

A "creator-led job listings" platform built by the team at Knovator, an outsourcing firm in Surat, India. A creator claims an `artha.link/@handle` link, and the platform auto-fills it with thousands of jobs matching their niche (claiming 8.2M+ live jobs site-wide). Every click from followers to apply pays the creator, either per click (CPC) or per application (CPA), with the creator getting 70% and the platform keeping 30%. The money comes from programmatic recruitment ads bought by employers, recruitment agencies and job aggregators.

**Conclusion** : it took off because India has a large number of "job-finding" channels that already forward job posts for free, every day, on WhatsApp / Telegram / Instagram. artha.link gave them a monetization link that requires no extra work and settles in US dollars. Each channel that joins brings thousands of job seekers to artha.link's pages every day. The ranking gains reflect those job seekers' traffic, not the creators'.

### 1. Data: traffic is rising, and it's real people

| Metric | Data | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Tranco global rank | 2026-08-06 431,330 → 08-27 172,148 → 09-17 98,741 → 10-14 120,629 (dip) → 11-04 59,534 | traffic library, rank_day |
| CrUX global | 2026-05 to 08 all in the top 500k tier → 2026-09 top 50k tier | traffic library, crux_domain |
| CrUX India | 2026-05 to 08 all in the top 50k tier → 2026-09 top 5 thousand tier | Same as above |
| CrUX other countries | Canada 2026-08 top 1M → 09 top 500k; UK top 1M → top 500k; Germany 09 entered top 1M; Philippines and Netherlands consistently in the top 500k tier; Indonesia top 1M | Same as above |
| Founder self-reported | 2026-05-08 "Creators earned $36K+ within 2 months of launch"; 06-11 "25k applications in 3 months"; 09-02 "daily active candidates 100 → 33,000 over 6 months, marketing spend $0"; 09-07 "paid creators $100K+ over 6 months, 330k+ monthly active candidates, 150k+ cumulative applications"; 09-28 "5,000+ creators" | Pankit Gami's posts on X and LinkedIn (see source) |

A few things can be inferred from this data:

- India is the overwhelming majority: CrUX India sits in the top 5 thousand tier, well above the global top 50k tier. The official case studies are almost all Indian channels too, such as Job Campus India, Walk-ins In Bangalore, WFH Seekers and PerfectHire.

- The launch was around 2026-03 ("2 months" matches 05-08, "6 months" matches early September). Tranco climbed sharply from August because it's a 30-day rolling average and lags real traffic by 1–2 weeks. This curve matches the founder's account of daily actives rising from a few thousand in 7–September to 33k. There was a dip in mid-October (97k → 120k), after which it climbed back to 59k.

- Working backward from a $100K payout and a 70% revenue share, 6 months of gross flow comes to roughly $140k, and gross platform revenue to roughly $40k. The scale is modest, but the unit economics are positive: the platform pays no acquisition cost, and creators bring their own traffic. This is an estimate, not verified.

- No app outside the web: searching the App Store for artha.link turns up only an unrelated bookkeeping app with the same name, so all traffic lands on the web, specifically on creator pages like `artha.link/@handle`.

### 2. Competitors: who else does the same thing

| Product | Form | Launched | Scale | How it differs from artha.link |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jobstream™(getjobstream.com) | Web | 2026 internal beta in H1, 2026-09 officially launched at RecFest USA | Not in Tranco's top 1M; claims 15k+ new jobs added monthly and 200+ branded employers | The parent company, Hire Innovations / Recruitics, claims to have built the first programmatic recruitment ad platform, with far more resources than artha. But it's US only, pays $1–35 per valid US application, requires creators to be vetted, and targets "career creators" like career coaches. artha has no entry barrier, pays per click, and works globally (in practice, India) |
| Publisher programs at Talent.com / Talroo / Jooble / CollegeRecruiter | Web (XML feed) | Years ago | Talent.com ranks around 15k on Tranco, Jooble around 6 thousand | Aimed at site owners who have websites and can take XML feeds, which individual creators can't use. artha essentially packages the same CPC/CPA pipeline as a single bio link, making it usable by individual creators |
| Job-board SaaS: Niceboard, Jboard, JobBoardly, Cavuno, plus their own Artha Job Board ($0 / $125 per month) | Web SaaS | Years | Small | Creators have to build their own site, sell job ads, and find employers. artha is free and sets up the jobs and the revenue source for them. |
| Link aggregators / creator monetization: Linktree, Beacons, Stan, Topmate (India) | Web / App | Years | Tranco: Linktree ~260, Beacons ~6K, Stan ~34k, Topmate ~51k | They make money from courses, selling 1 and 1, and brand deals, all of which need extra content. artha only sells job clicks. For "job alert" accounts with no product to sell, it's the only ready-made way to monetize. |
| How India's job channels monetize today: paid short links with ads (GPLinks-type), ads inside the groups, and free job sites (freejobalert.com, Tranco ~8.8K) | Telegram / WhatsApp / web | Years | Very large | This is what artha really replaces in India (inferred). Short-link income is low, the experience is bad, and it erodes trust. artha gives them a clean, channel-owned job page, paid out in USD. |
| Big platforms: LinkedIn, Naukri (Tranco ~1.3K), Apna (~54k) | Web / App | — | Huge | Substitutes on the candidate side, and they don't pay creators |
| AI job tools like Jobright.ai that "pay creators to post" | UGC campaigns | From ¥2025 | — | These are per-post ad fees, not long-term per-application revenue share on links |

Bottom line: in the "pay individual creators per application" slot, only Jobstream really competes, and it came out about half a year later and only covers the US. artha effectively owns the "India + no minimum" space.

### 3. Growth: where users come from

Split the two sides here: **creators** (supply, 5,000+) were brought in by artha itself. **job seekers** (the traffic Tranco and CrUX measure) come from the creators.

1. **Creators' own private audiences (main driver, confirmed)** : in the official case studies, Job Campus India has 30K+ WhatsApp student groups and 8K YouTube subscribers. On day one after integration it got 1,000+ clicks, earned $500+ a week, and hit 3,000+ clicks a day on a single link. Other examples: WFH Seekers $2,000+ in its first week, Akshata Bhat $15K+ in 4 months, PerfectHire $3K+. The official blog has a post, 2026-11-05, titled "How to earn money by sharing jobs in India," naming Telegram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn as channels.

2. **Direct outreach and creator communities (confirmed)** : founder 09-28 wrote in a post: "no paid acquisition, no ad spend... we tried outbound, partnerships, creator communities, referrals." They run a Discord community, and 10-21 holds online sessions for 40+ creators, where the "Talent Network" is launched.

3. **Creators recruiting creators (confirmed)** : the pricing page says you can earn up to 10% more by referring other creators. The older product, arthajobboard.com, also has a 40% referral commission partner program.

4. **Monthly prize challenges (confirmed)** : the site nav features "November Challenge: bring in the most Talent Network members, win AirPods." There was an October one too (`october-refer-mode-on`). It uses physical prizes to push creators to route people through their own links.

5. **Paid partnership posts on Instagram (confirmed, scale unknown)** : search results show nursing job posts labeled "PAID PARTNERSHIP WITH ARTHA.LINK."

6. **Case studies with earnings figures (confirmed)** : the success stories page puts creator earnings in headlines, like "$500+ in 3 days" and "$15K+ in 4 months," specifically to attract new creators.

7. **Mass SEO (confirmed, contribution to traffic unknown)** : earnings calculators for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook Reels; 9 niche landing pages (trucking / nursing / retail...); 6 platform landing pages (Substack / Beehiiv / WhatsApp...); plus a continuously updated blog. On the WordPress.org support forums and Facebook there are advertorial-style posts like "Artha.link let me turn shared job posts into income."

8. **Product Hunt and accelerators (confirmed, small effect)** : 2026-09-08 launch on PH, 49 votes, #23 on the daily chart, never featured (producthunt library). Team members campaigned for votes on LinkedIn. Startupbootcamp India's Sprint2 Frontier showcased it in 09-02. Tranco dipped again in mid-to-late September, suggesting PH brought no meaningful traffic.

9. **Almost nothing on X or TikTok** : x-radar finds no mentions of artha.link in the last ~90 days. TikTok has one US job post with 257 views. The founder has only 335 followers on X, and the company LinkedIn has 252 followers.

### 4. Why it made the list

- **Ready-made "free labor"** : India's job-hunting channels already post jobs every day, but get no money for it (official quote: "They even DM you for job referrals… you've been doing it for free"). artha doesn't ask them to change any behavior. Swap in one link and they start earning, so conversion at onboarding is very high, and a single channel can send thousands of daily clicks.

- **The money has a ready source:** programmatic job ads (paid per click / per application) are a mature market, and Talent.com, Talroo and Jooble all run publisher programs. artha built on what the team had accumulated building Artha Job Board (a job board SaaS with backfilled job sources): the Overview on G2 credits Pankit Gami, and the Show HN 2025-02 was "AI Job Board in <5 Mins". They repackaged it as something individuals can use. The COO self-reports 8.2M+ live job listings.

- **Pays per click, zero minimum** : much looser than Jobstream, which "only counts valid US applications and vets creators." For a small channel, seeing earnings the same day is key to retention. The official line is data within 5–6 hours, payouts on the 10–15 of each month, and an Indian minimum of $10.

- **Paying in USD amplifies the appeal** : for an Indian channel owner, $500/week is a large number (inferred).

- **Team foundation** : Knovator Technologies is an outsourcing firm in Surat, with 11–50 people on LinkedIn. The founder has the title "BW Healthcare 40u40." Engineering and content (SEO pages, blog, case studies) can be done in-house, without relying on funding.

### 5. Differentiation

What separates artha.link from link-in-bio tools like Linktree isn't the single-bio-link format. It's that it **sets up the demand side for creators** : the jobs and the payers both come from the platform, and creators only handle distribution. Compared with its only direct rival, Jobstream, there are three differences:

1. **No gatekeeping** : any size, any country, including 3.5K-follower side accounts.

2. **Pays per click** , not just per application.

3. **Its real home is India's job channels** , not American career coaches.

This difference is why it took off. Traffic comes mainly from India, a segment that Jobstream and the programmatic recruitment publisher programs don't cover. But the moat is shallow: job sources can be bought, and link pages are easy for anyone to build. The hard part is **earning a high enough click rate** while getting employers to accept the quality of Indian traffic. The COO wrote: "If employers can't get real clicks and real applications, they'll stop spending." The Talent Network launched in October (resume parsing plus phone verification) is clearly aimed at that traffic-quality gap.

### VI. Visibility and copycats

- **Visibility: circulating in small circles** . The revenue figures (paid out $100K+ to creators, 330k monthly active candidates) appear only in posts by the founder and staff on LinkedIn and X, each getting 20–55 likes. There's no TrustMRR entry, no media coverage found, the PH listing has 49 votes, and there are no major accounts discussing it on X.

- **Copycats: none confirmed** . Jobstream also uses the phrase "creator-led hiring," but 2026-04 was already talking about it on a podcast. That's parallel development in the same period, not copying. There are other "creator industry job boards" like Trabajos Creadores and LensBid, but those are a different thing.

### VII. What to take away

- Find large groups of people who already freely share a certain kind of information, such as job channels, coupon groups, or housing groups, then connect them to ready-made pay-per-result ad budgets (recruitment CPC, affiliate CPA). The supply side's acquisition cost is near zero, and they bring their own traffic.

- Lower the bar as far as possible: data the same day, a low payout threshold, so even small accounts see money right away.

- Use case studies with numbers, like "a channel earned $500 in 3 days," plus monthly physical prize draws, to recruit new creators.

- Use earnings calculators and niche/platform landing pages for SEO, catching searches like "how to make money on YouTube / Instagram."

### 8. What's still uncertain

- Which country the jobs Indian seekers click on are in, and how much each click pays: Indian recruitment CPCs are very low. If the clicks are mostly from Indian traffic on US jobs, employers will eventually push prices down or block it. This is the biggest long-term sustainability risk.

- Click fraud: pay-per-click models attract fraud by nature. The article repeatedly stresses "qualified clicks," and the Talent Network requires phone verification, which suggests they've already run into it.

- The $100K payouts and 330k monthly actives are self-reported. Tranco and CrUX only show that real traffic is growing. They can't verify the dollar amounts.

- The reason Tranco dipped in October is unknown. It could be that a big channel's traffic wave from September had passed.

- How much was spent on paid partnership posts and the AirPods campaign is unverified, as is the founder's "$0 marketing" figure.

- Who the employer-side payers are (which specific job aggregators or agencies) hasn't been disclosed.
