# Five stars within 9 minutes: how a Vietnamese team collected 1,984 reviews in Shopify's most crowded category

**What it is** A loyalty points, VIP tier and referral app for Shopify stores, built by a Vietnamese team. It has a free tier, and paid plans run $15–129 a month.

**Why it took off** Loyalty points are a must-have for stores, and Shopify doesn't build them itself. BON costs about half what leader Smile charges, with unlimited orders. Support staff walk merchants through installation and ask for a review on the spot. 1,984 five-star reviews pushed it to category #4. Comparison pages and free migration then caught the small merchants Smile left behind when it moved upmarket.

**C** **How you could follow** Don't go head-to-head in loyalty points. Take its playbook (a genuinely usable free tier, an unlimited tier, support-led installs with review requests, comparison pages plus free migration) into a Shopify category whose leader just raised prices and whose top reviews still number only a few hundred, or into Wix, WooCommerce, or site builders for going global.

C grade: the playbook is clear and can be copied, but the loyalty-points category already has five or six followers using the same playbook with five stars. BON's lead is three years of accumulated reviews, which followers can't get. You can learn from it, but following it head-on isn't worth it. Chatter in small circles

Global rank 70k · 90 days ago 183k

BON Loyalty is a loyalty points app for Shopify stores, listed 2021 years ago. It's not a new hit. Its rise in global store rankings over the last two months may look sudden, but it isn't. What's worth studying is how it operated over five years: half the price of the leader, support staff who walk merchants through installation, a review request made on the spot, reviews used to push its store ranking up, and a batch of "X alternative" pages aimed at the customers the leader pushed out with price increases. Anyone can copy this. The hard part is that the loyalty-points category already has a crowd copying it.

### A 9-minute review

2026 year Nov 3, a Hong Kong shop called VZMORE left a five-star review for BON Loyalty in the Shopify App Store:

> Good app for rewards program, especially for Haley's patience and quick response.

On the reviews page, the store automatically tags how long the reviewer used the app: **9 minutes using the app** . The same day, this store posted another one, this time praising a different support agent, Hazel.

Scroll down and they all read about the same. Oct 28, an Australian store wrote "Haley set it up for me, support was amazing", and by then it had only been installed 39 minutes. Nov 5, a New Zealand store praised Natalie, installed 2 days. Nov 6, a Canadian store's review was just one line: "Hazel was a great help!" The latest 10 reviews mostly name a support agent (Shopify App Store reviews page, 11-06).

This is BON's playbook: the moment a merchant installs, a live support rep shows up and helps set up the points rules and page widgets, then at the end asks, "If you don't mind, could you leave us a review?" It's compliant, and it works. By Nov 6, BON had 1,984 reviews in total, 98% of them five-star, with only 11 one-star.

### What it is and who made it

BON Loyalty is an embedded Shopify app that helps stores run points, reward redemptions, VIP tiers and referral programs, plus B2B customer segmentation, in-store POS points and 250 interface languages. The developer is VEGAHUB, incorporated in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, with its team in Vietnam. The CEO is Son Phung. The website claims it serves 10k+ merchants and 75M+ end customers across 173 countries (bonloyalty.com homepage; self-reported, not verifiable). The same company also has several smaller Shopify apps (a review app, an AI support bot, a WhatsApp button), but BON is the main one.

Pricing (Shopify App Store, 11-07):

| Tier | Monthly fee | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Up to 150 orders a month, includes referrals |
| Starter | $15 | |
| Basic | $29 | |
| Growth | $129 | Unlimited orders, includes VIP tiers |
| Plus | Contact sales | For large Shopify Plus stores |

Revenue isn't public. A rough estimate of "review count × lowest paid price" puts it at over $30K a month **(guess)** . The method is crude; treat it as an order of magnitude only.

### Ranking up 2.6×, but the website didn't blow up

On Tranco's global website ranking, bonloyalty.com climbed from 180K to around 70K over 90 days (11-05 is 69,823 place). But nearly all of that rise happened between mid-August and mid-September: on Aug 13 it was still at 190K, by Sep 17 it had reached 61K, and it has stayed around 70K since.

The domain has nothing consumer-facing behind it, only the marketing site, docs and the merchant dashboard. The high rank is likely because of the stores that installed BON: each shopper who loads a page triggers a call from the widget to BON's servers, so the rank reflects how much traffic those stores get in total, not how many merchants visit the marketing site **(inference)** . In Chrome's real-user data, only the merchant dashboard app.bonloyalty.com reached the top 500k in Australia and the top 1M tier in the UK, Germany, France, Canada and Italy; it didn't make the global top 1M.

Why did it jump a step between 8 and September? The Vietnamese competitor joy.so jumped at the same time (from 70k to 40k), while Smile.io and LoyaltyLion barely moved. It could be a change in how the ranking is counted, or the widget switched domains, or a few high-traffic stores installed it, but **I haven't verified this** . What's clear is that its reviews have been climbing steadily: 30 new ones in the last 30 days, which works out to a few dozen a month and doesn't explain a threefold jump in rank. So don't read this jump as "the product blew up this season."

### Where users come from

**The main channel is the Shopify App Store itself.** BON ranks #4 in the default list under "Loyalty and rewards" and carries the Built for Shopify badge (Shopify's official quality mark, which gets a search boost). Every install link on its website carries `utm_source=applisting`, which suggests it knows merchants mainly arrive from the store.

**Ratings fuel ranking, and support fuels ratings.** The store sorts by rating and review count, and BON's reviews mostly come from the few dozen minutes when support helps merchants install. Compared with the leader Smile, a noticeably higher share of BON's reviews mention support and were written within 3 days of install. In a sample of 31 BON reviews, 12 were written within 3 days of installing. In a sample of 42 Smile reviews, only 10 fit the same pattern (Shopify App Store reviews, early November). The developer replies to every review and also "follows up by email."

**Poaching the leader's customers.** The category leader in loyalty points is Canada's Smile.io, with 4,668 reviews. Over the past two years Smile has been moving upmarket, and its website now pushes the $199 and $999 tiers, targets brands with annual revenue above $5M, reserves VIP tiers for the $199 plan, and caps orders at 2,500 (smile.io/pricing, updated 9-25). BON's VIP tier sits at $129 with unlimited orders. BON's website has three comparison pages, /bon-vs-smile-io, /bon-vs-rivo and /bon-vs-loyaltylion, all titled "#1 xxx Alternative", plus free docs for migrating merchants' data over from those three.

You can see the poaching working from how the competitor reacts: in October Smile published a post titled "Smile vs BON Loyalty" and also ranked BON #3 in its own "Top 5 Loyalty Apps on Shopify" list, with the note "best for international stores." When the leader is willing to spend column inches naming you, it means BON is already competing for its small and mid-sized customers.

**Other channels are barely there.** Nobody has discussed it on X in the last 90 days. On Reddit's r/shopify, only scattered merchants mention "we use Bon Loyalty" in passing. I found no ads from it on Meta or Google. It's a product that lives entirely inside Shopify stores.

### Who it's competing with

This is one of the most crowded categories on Shopify. Shopify itself only offers gift cards and store credit, and has always left points and membership to third-party apps.

| Product | Launched | Reviews / rating | New reviews, last 30 days | Starting price | Versus BON |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Smile.io | 2014 | 4,668 / 4.9 | ≥48 | $15, pushing $199 | Leader, moving upmarket |
| BON Loyalty | 2021-08 | 1,984 / 5.0 | 30 | Free / $15 | — |
| Joy Loyalty (Vietnam) | 2021-06 | 1,791 / 4.9 | 4 | $29 | Same timing, same playbook, clearly slowing down |
| Appstle Loyalty | 2023-02 | 1,473 / 5.0 | ≥59 | $10 | Fastest growing, carried by its parent subscription app (9,219 reviews) |
| Okendo | 2018 | 1,447 / 4.8 | 24 | $19 | Review app with loyalty on the side |
| Rivo | 2021-01 | 1,437 / 4.7 | 2 | $15 | Deep customization focus, growth has largely stalled |
| Growave | 2014 | 1,287 / 4.8 | 3 | $15 | Bundles memberships, wishlists and reviews |
| Love Loyalty / BLOY / Essent / Casa | 2024 | 425–845 / 5.0 | Love Loyalty ≥54 | $10–12 | A new wave of "cheap + five-star + support-led install" followers |
| Yotpo / LoyaltyLion | 2014–2015 | 968 / 549 | Single digits | $199–360 | Targets enterprise customers, a different crowd |

(Shopify App Store, early November)

Two things stand out. First, "cheap + five-star + support-assisted install" is no longer BON's secret. Several apps launched 2024 years ago are running the same playbook, all with 5.0 ratings and starting prices below BON's. Second, the apps gaining reviews faster than BON over the past month are Appstle, which rides on its big parent app, and the cheaper Love Loyalty. BON's edge is that it got there three years earlier and has built up more reviews. The product itself isn't meaningfully different from these rivals.

### Why it works

In one line: in a category with real demand that Shopify doesn't build itself, it used half the price plus live human support to catch the small and mid-sized merchants the leader left behind as it moved upmarket, then amplified that with ratings.

- **The demand already exists.** Loyalty points are almost something every store that sells repeat purchases wants, so there's no market to educate.

- **The price sits in the leader's gap.** The free tier already includes referrals, and $129 gives unlimited orders with VIP. Smile charges $199 for comparable features and caps orders. In Shopify's auto-generated review summary, the most-praised points are "generous free plan" and "price doesn't scale with order volume."

- **Support converts into ratings, and ratings into rankings.** This is the standard playbook of Vietnamese Shopify developers. BON was early to it and pursued it hard.

- **Internationalization.** 250 languages, multiple currencies, GDPR compliance. Reviews come from France, the Netherlands, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, and Smile itself concedes it's "best for international stores."

### If it were you

**My take:** building another Shopify loyalty points app today isn't worth it. The real value in this breakdown is borrowing the playbook for somewhere else. There are already five or six cheap, five-star followers in loyalty. You're three years behind, starting from zero reviews, and you'd be competing with Appstle, which has a big parent app feeding it.

**Who it suits:** a small team of 2–1 people who have built or want to build a B3B plugin and are willing to sit in live support chat every day (or can hire cheap English-speaking support in places like Vietnam or the Philippines), and who can accept that a product takes two to three years to build real volume.

**Who it doesn't suit:** anyone hoping to get traction quickly from a single product idea; anyone who doesn't want to do support and only wants to write code (half this playbook is support work); anyone planning to go head-to-head with BON and Smile in loyalty points.

**How to do it:** transplant BON's formula into a place that hasn't been worked this way yet. Two directions:

1. **Same formula, different category.** Look on Shopify for categories where a leader is raising prices or moving upmarket, and small merchants are complaining about it in forums; where the top apps have only a few hundred reviews, not thousands; and where Shopify doesn't build the feature itself.

2. **Same category, different platform.** Loyalty points on Wix, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or on overseas-expansion site builders like Shopline and Shoplazza may be far less crowded than Shopify **(inference, not checked one by one)** .

On the product, copy three things: make the free tier genuinely useful; offer an unlimited-orders tier that targets the leader's pain of charging by order volume; and from day one, ship a "free migration from X" tool and docs.

**How to get customers:** the app store is the main entry point. Once a merchant installs, support greets them inside the app, walks them through setup, and at the end asks for a review; reply to every review. Once you have a few hundred reviews and the platform's official badge, publish "X vs us" and "X alternative" comparison pages to catch merchants searching "X alternative." Add an agency referral program (BON offers lifetime commissions), so the agencies who build stores for merchants install it for them.

**Timing:** there's no seasonal deadline, but there is a window: the year or two after a leader has just raised prices and merchants are looking for alternatives. Smile's current price increase runs from 2025 to 2026, and BON and its followers have already taken this window in loyalty points. What you need is the next leader that has just raised prices.

**Signs you've misread it:** ① in your chosen category, the top apps already have ratings around 5.0 and thousands of reviews, which means the playbook is already saturated there; ② after 3 months of support-led installs, you're still adding single-digit reviews a month, which means the problem isn't support, it's demand or store placement; ③ Shopify launches native points and membership features in its admin, which would squeeze the whole category, BON included.

Where users come from

- **Confirmed** **Shopify App Store search / category ranking + Built for Shopify badge** : default position #4 in the category list; rating 5.0 / 1,984 reviews; website links all carry utm_source=applisting

- **Confirmed** **Support staff install it with merchants and ask for reviews on the spot** : the newest reviews name support staff Hazel / Haley / Natalie a lot, and some say "used it for 9 minutes" or "39 minutes" before leaving a review. Of 31 sampled reviews, 12 were written ≤3 days after install, and 21 mention support

- **Confirmed** **Comparison-page SEO + free migration to poach competitors** : bonloyalty.com/bon-vs-smile-io, bon-vs-rivo, bon-vs-loyaltylion, plus migration docs from Smile / Rivo / LoyaltyLion. Smile has published a counter-page

- Inferred: **Smile raised prices and pivoted to large merchants, so merchants are migrating** : smile.io/pricing 2026-09 lists $199 / $999; third-party "Smile alternatives" articles include BON

- Inferred **Agency revenue share** : bonloyalty.com/agency-partners offers lifetime revenue share

- Inferred **Cross-promotion across its own apps** : VEGAHUB also runs LAI Reviews, MooseDesk, and Moose WhatsApp, and BON's Works with section lists LAI. All of these are smaller than BON

- Inferred **Social / ads** : no X discussion in the last 90 days; no ad library records; only sporadic merchant mentions on Reddit

## Why BON Loyalty (bonloyalty.com) is breaking through

> Data date: 2026-11-07. Library = the traffic / shopifyapps libraries on our agent-im machine; web = original pages fetched via Jina.

### One line

BON Loyalty is a Shopify points / VIP / referral app built by VEGAHUB (registered in Oakville, Canada; team in Vietnam), listed 2021-08. It isn't a new hit. It's a **5-year-old B2B Shopify app** . The playbook is the Vietnamese Shopify developer one: cheap pricing, a generous free tier, and support staff who install it with merchants and ask for reviews right away. That built 5.0 rating and 1,984 reviews on the App Store. After Smile.io moved upmarket and raised prices, BON picked up small and mid-sized merchants. Its Tranco rank rise mostly comes from **its widget on store pages being loaded by shoppers' browsers** (DNS / widget traffic), not from more people visiting its website.

### 1. What it is and where its traffic lands

- Product: an embedded Shopify app with points, rewards, VIP tiers, B2B tiers, anti-fraud referrals, POS offline points, checkout discounts on Plus stores, and 250+ interface languages. (apps.shopify.com/bon-loyalty-rewards)

- Store pricing (2026-11-07 scrape): Free (up to 150 orders/month) / Starter $15 / Basic $29 / Growth $129 (unlimited orders) / Plus on request. The $25 / $99 / $349 figures in the recall card are old prices and no longer current.

- Scale claims: the website says 10,000+ merchants, 75M end customers, 90M transactions a year, and 800M points events, across 173 countries (bonloyalty.com homepage). Parent vegahub.io says all its apps together have 30,000+ active stores.

- **Where the traffic lands** : there is no consumer-facing app. Under bonloyalty.com are the marketing site, docs, and `app.bonloyalty.com`. The only origin visible in CrUX is app.bonloyalty.com: au is in the top 500k, gb / de / fr / ca / it are in the top 1M tier (traffic library crux_domain), and it isn't in the global top 1M. It's reasonable to infer that the Tranco rank mainly comes from DNS sources like Cloudflare Radar / Umbrella: when shoppers at each store load a page, the points widget calls BON's domain. So it measures total shopper traffic on stores running BON, not how many merchants visit the website.

### 2. Growth data

- Tranco (traffic library rank_day): 07-30 170,413 → 08-13 191,108 → 09-03 86,288 → **09-17 61,345** → 10-08 77,022 → 11-05 69,823. The rank rose ×2.6 over 90 days, but almost all of it came from a **step-function jump** between mid-August and mid-September, and it has been flat since.

- Same-period comparison: joy.so (a Vietnamese peer) went 70,624 → 40,661, also jumping in the same window. smile.io, loyaltylion.com, and growave.io only moved slightly; appstle.com actually declined. Two Vietnamese apps jumping at once could mean Tranco changed how one of its data sources counts, or that their widgets were integrated differently (unverified).

- Review count (shopifyapps library app_snap + store page): currently 1,984 reviews, rating 5.0 (5-star at 98%, 1-star 11 reviews). 2026-10 added 30 new reviews in the last 30 days (reviews_30d, complete). The recall card says about 1,760 reviews 90 days ago, which works out to roughly 70 more per month. Our library can't verify numbers older than 30 days.

- This doesn't match the rank jump: at 30–75 reviews a month, growth is steady and can't explain the ×3 rank jump from 8 to September. The jump looks more like a change in widget traffic or counting method, or a few high-traffic stores installing it (unverified).

### 3. Competitors (Shopify "Loyalty and rewards" category, shopifyapps library 2026-11)

| Product | Based in | Launched | Scale (reviews / rating / new reviews in last 30 days) | Starting price | How it differs from BON |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Smile.io (Canada) | Shopify App | 2014-12 | 4,668 / 4.9 / ≥48 | Still has $15 / $79 tiers in the store; its website leads with $199 Growth and $999 Plus from $2026-09 | Category leader moving toward Shopify Plus and enterprise clients, with TP certification and SOC2. VIP requires the $199 tier. BON's VIP is on the $129 tier, with unlimited orders |
| Joy Loyalty (Vietnam, Avada family) | Shopify App | 2021-06 | 1,791 / 4.9 / 4 | $29 | A direct rival that launched at the same time with the same Vietnamese playbook. Its new review growth is clearly slower than BON's now |
| Appstle Loyalty | Shopify App | 2023-02 | 1,473 / 5.0 / ≥59 | $10 | Drives volume through its Appstle subscription app (9,219 reviews). The fastest-growing rival in reviews over the past year |
| Rivo | Shopify App | 2021-01 | 1,437 / 4.7 / 2 | $15 | Aimed at developers / deep customization, review growth has basically stalled |
| Growave | Shopify App | 2014-07 | 1,287 / 4.8 / 3 | $15 | Bundles memberships, wishlists, and reviews into one suite |
| Okendo | Shopify App | 2018-06 | 1,447 / 4.8 / 24 | $19 | Review app with loyalty on the side |
| Yotpo Loyalty | Shopify App | 2015-07 | 968 / 4.7 / 2 | $199 | Built for enterprises, high price |
| LoyaltyLion (UK) | Shopify App | 2014-07 | 549 / 4.7 / 8 | $360 | Built for enterprises, high price |
| Love Loyalty / Essent / BLOY / Casa | Shopify App | 2024–2025 | 425–845 / 5.0 | $10–12 | A new wave of "cheap + 5.0 rating" followers. Love Loyalty has ≥54 new reviews in the last 30 days and is growing fast |
| Built into Shopify | Big-company features | — | — | — | Shopify has gift cards and store credit, but no full points-based loyalty system, so that gap has always been left to third-party apps |

Bottom line: among pure loyalty apps, BON ranks **second in review count** , behind only Smile. It sits at #4 by default in the category list (app_category.list_rank). This category is crowded; there is no "no competition" scenario.

### 4. Where users come from (growth tactics)

1. **Shopify App Store search and category ranking (main channel, confirmed)** : default #4 in the category list. The Built for Shopify badge gets higher search weight and a badge; a rating of 5.0 and 2,000 recent reviews are hard metrics in store sorting. All website links carry `utm_source=applisting`, showing the store is its main entry point.

2. **Support staff install with merchants and ask for reviews on the spot (confirmed)** : in the newest 10 reviews, most name support staff Hazel / Haley / Natalie. Some say "used it for 9 minutes", "used it for 20 hours", or "used it for 39 minutes" (store page 2026-10-27 to 11-06). Of the 31 reviews sampled in the library, 21 mention support or the team, and 12 were written ≤3 days after install. Among Smile's 42 sampled reviews, only 10 are of this kind (shopifyapps library, review table). The developer also replies to each review and "follows up by email". This is the standard Vietnamese Shopify developer playbook: live chat helps merchants set up features, then asks for a review on the spot. It's compliant, but it pushes ratings up.

3. **Comparison-page SEO to poach the big names (confirmed)** : the website has /bon-vs-smile-io/, /bon-vs-rivo/, and /bon-vs-loyaltylion/, all titled "#1 xxx Alternative". There are also docs offering free help migrating data from Smile, Rivo, and LoyaltyLion. Smile 2026-10 wrote a counter-page called "Smile vs BON Loyalty", and Smile's own "Top 5 Loyalty Apps" list also ranks BON #3 ("best for international stores"). Being named by the market leader shows BON is already going after its small and mid-sized customers.

4. **Competitor price hike driving migration (partly confirmed)** : After Smile's website pricing was reviewed, 2026-09-25 now leads with $199 / $999 tiers and targets brands above $5M in revenue (smile.io/pricing, smile-vs-bon page). Third-party posts (froonze, yuko, easyapps) are all writing "Smile alternatives." BON's VIP tier sits at the $129 level with unlimited orders, which catches the smaller merchants being pushed out. A review summary mentions "smooth migrations" (Shopify Magic review digest).

5. **Agency revenue share (program exists, effect unknown)** : bonloyalty.com/agency-partners offers lifetime revenue share and tiered rates.

6. **Cross-promotion across its own apps (weak)** : VEGAHUB also runs LAI Product Reviews (572 reviews, 2020), MooseDesk AI support (490 reviews), Moose WhatsApp (211 reviews), and MooseDM (2026-07, just launched). These apps sit under different partner accounts, and BON's Works with section lists LAI Reviews. All are much smaller than BON. BON is the main driver, and the other apps draw on BON's traffic rather than sending traffic back to it.

7. **Social / media (mostly absent)** : the X corpus has no relevant discussion in the last 90 days (x-radar). On Reddit r/shopify, only sporadic merchants mention it, such as "My health food store uses Bon Loyalty". There are no Meta or Google ad records (the card's ads field is empty; the ad libraries only track listed products, so no record doesn't mean no spend). Whether it's running ads within the Shopify App Store search is unverified.

### 5. Why it took off

- **Competing in a must-have but crowded category on value and service** : loyalty points are standard for Shopify stores, and Shopify doesn't build them itself. BON offers a free tier (with referrals) and $129 for unlimited orders, while Smile charges $199 for the same features and caps orders at 2,500. Merchants pick it mainly for price and support, not because its features lead the market.

- **Trading support for reviews, and reviews for store rank** : 5.0 / 1,984 reviews plus BFS certification pushed it to #4 in its category and #2 by review count among loyalty apps. Reviews repeatedly name the support team, so the flywheel is clear.

- **Timing** : Smile kept moving upmarket and raising prices in 2025–2026, leaving smaller long-tail merchants looking for a switch. BON catches them with comparison pages, free migration, and low prices.

- **Going global** : 250+ interface languages, multiple currencies, GDPR compliance. Smile itself admits it is "best for international stores." Reviewers are spread across France, the Netherlands, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and elsewhere (review table sample: 8 reviews from France, 6 from the US).

- **A rise in Tranco should not be taken as proof of user growth** : the step-like jump looks more like a widget traffic or measurement change (joy.so jumped at the same time). Real growth is a steady +30~75 reviews per month.

### 6. Differentiation

BON's difference from Smile is **price tiers and service density** : same points, VIP and referrals, but about half the price, unlimited orders, and 24/7 a real person online to help with setup. It isn't much different from same-playbook rivals like Joy, Appstle Loyalty and Love Loyalty. It just launched earlier, collected more reviews, and added niche features like B2B tiers, POS and multilingual support. So differentiation is **part of why it took off** , but the core driver is in-store execution (reviews, BFS, ranking) and intercepting comparison searches, not a unique product.

### 7. Visibility and copycats

- Revenue is not public (neither TrustMRR nor the indie databases list it), and founder Son Phung (VEGAHUB CEO, also behind Squirai) has not publicly shared numbers. Rough estimate: shopifyapps' est_mrr_floor is about $30k/month, calculated as "review count × lowest paid price", which is very crude.

- Within the Shopify ecosystem it is well known: Smile, Rivo, Flits, Growave and Froonze have all written comparison articles about it. Outside that circle (X, media, indie developer communities) it is barely discussed.

- Copycats: none specifically copy BON, but the "cheap + 5.0 score + support-driven review requests" model already has followers in loyalty: Love Loyalty (2024-10), BLOY (2024-10), Essent (2024-11), Casa (2024-06), Koin (2024-12), Appstle Loyalty (2023-02).

### 8. What to borrow

- To build a B2B app on Shopify or similar app stores, you can follow this recipe: make the free tier genuinely useful → onboard installs with live support → ask for reviews right after install → earn BFS certification → publish "X vs us" comparison pages and offer free migration, aimed specifically at merchants squeezed out when the leader raises prices.

- Price by order volume with an "unlimited" tier, directly targeting the leader's pain point of charging overage fees per order.

- After one vertical app gains traction, launch a second and third app (support, reviews, WhatsApp) to the same merchants.

### 9. Still unclear

- The real cause of the Tranco ×3 jump from mid-2026-08 to mid-09 is unverified: was it widgets moved to a custom domain, some large stores installing it, or a change in the Tranco data source (joy.so also jumped at the same time)?

- Real install counts and paid conversion rates: Shopify doesn't publish them. "10,000+" is a self-reported figure.

- Whether it runs Shopify App Store in-store search ads is unverified.

- The 1,760 reviews from 90 days ago come from the recall card. Our database only started collecting 11-01, so they can't be checked.
