# A yellow-flower greeting card that expires after 12 hours: a Peruvian programmer turned a TikTok hit into a $2.45 confession link

**What it is** Pick an animated template, fill in photos, text and music, and get a link to send via WhatsApp. Free links expire after 12 hours; a one-time payment of $2–4 unlocks a permanent version.

**Why it took off** Creator @jcode.1 had already built an audience on TikTok with code-made love animations. After launching the site, it rode the 9/21 Yellow Flower Day and 9/30 Hot Wheels bouquet season. A September video with about 9.18M views sent everyone to the site, and each card the recipient opened brought in new visitors.

**C** **How you could follow** Build the content account first, then the site: make animated templates around the holiday calendar and shoot vertical video. The site only handles fill-in-the-blank, link generation, and time-limited paid unlocks. Pick a language or local holiday nobody has covered yet.

Grade C: the playbook is clean and worth studying, but the category is already crowded (dedicapag launched a year earlier and is bigger). It runs on the creator's own audience, which followers can't copy. Ticket size is $2–3, two-month cumulative revenue is estimated at only a few thousand dollars, and it clearly dropped after the holidays. Few people know about it yet

Global rank 115k · 90 days ago, top 1M+

DedicaCodes is a Spanish-language "love confession page" generator: pick an animated template, fill in photos, text and music, get a link, and send it to your crush on WhatsApp. It only registered its domain in late August 2026, and two months later it had climbed to a global rank of 115k. It didn't blow up because the product is new. It blew up because the creator is a Latin American TikToker known for making love-confession animations with code, and it launched just in time for the two September gift-giving holidays. Below: what it sells, where the traffic comes from, how much money it makes, and whether you can still get in on this.

### A starry sky for Gabriela

On DedicaCodes' homepage, in the "community works" section, there's a piece called "galaxia de flores amarillas" (yellow-flower galaxy), uploaded by Carlos Raúl Chumbes Aguilar. The description reads: "A 3D interactive romantic experience made especially for Gabriela. Explore a galaxy full of stars, yellow flowers and floating love messages. You can drag it with your finger, and a soft melody plays in the background." The piece has been downloaded 532 times (homepage, 11-06).

That's what the site sells: not a picture, but a small web page that moves when you tap it on your phone. Yellow flowers, starry skies, a heart made of particles, a bouquet of Hot Wheels cars, with names and photos of the recipient.

### What it sells and how it charges

The flow is short: pick a template from the catalog (the homepage says 78 of them) → add photos, text and a song → generate a link and send it via WhatsApp. Free links expire after 12 hours. To keep one alive, pay once for a "permanent link":

| What you buy | Pricing (website, 11-06) |
|---|---|
| Permanent single-page link for free templates | S/ 6 (about $2.45) |
| Permanent single-page link for premium templates | S/ 10 (about $3.85) |
| Multi-page bundle (2–5 pages) | S/ 15–25 (about $5.65–9.15), one-time PayPal payment, with Mexican peso prices also shown on the page |
| Couples' private diary Bitácora | Free trial, or a one-time S/ 10, "no monthly fee" |

Prices are in Peruvian soles, with US dollar and Mexican peso conversions alongside. There are no subscriptions, just one-time small payments. A banner at the top of the homepage reads: "For the best experience, tap the top-right corner and choose 'Open in browser'". That suggests many visitors come in through the in-app browsers of TikTok and WhatsApp.

The on-site counter (homepage, 11-07) shows 69,318 cards published in total and 1,575 permanent versions, meaning roughly 2.3% of people paid. At $2.45–3.85 per card, cumulative revenue is in the low thousands of dollars (estimated; bundles pull the average price down; unverified).

### Why now: the audience came first, then the site

The creator, JCode, goes by @jcode.1 on TikTok. The bio says "Web Developer". He has 34k followers and 1.61M total likes, and is Peruvian. Since 2025 he has posted "love animations built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript". In September 2025 a Hot Wheels bouquet video got 4.24M views, and in March 2026 a yellow-flower video got 3.36M views.

His captions back then read: "Escríbeme al WhatsApp de mi perfil si deseas tu enlace personalizado" (message me on WhatsApp via my profile if you want your personalized link). That means each order was custom-coded by hand.

2026-08-29 he registered dedicacodes.com. From Sep 12 on, every video caption carried the same line: "Personaliza tu diseño gratis en DedicaCodes.com" (customize your design for free at DedicaCodes.com). The audience had already been built. The site just swapped "message me and I'll code it" for "make it yourself in two minutes".

Then the timing hit. Latin America TikTok has two fixed gifting peaks in recent years: Sep 21 for yellow flowers, and Sep 30 for bouquets built from Hot Wheels cars for your boyfriend. His Sep 15 post "Corazón de Flores Amarillas" (Yellow Flower Heart) got 1.6M views and 114k shares; the next day's "Viaje de Flores Amarillas" hit 1.09M. From Sep 24 to 29 he posted 6 Hot Wheels bouquet videos in a row, each at 18–1.07M. Across September, his videos totaled about 9.18M views (TikTok, pulled 11-07).

The comments under these videos all say roughly the same thing: "pasa link" (send the link), "ponlo para descargar pliis" (please put it up for download), "para amigo no hay?😭" (is there a version for a friend?). The creator replied in the comments with the template link.

### Every card sent brings a new visitor

Ranking data shows the shape of this traffic: global Tranco rank was still about 668k at 10-15; it went from 10-22 to 246k, 10-29 to 152k, 11-05 to 115k, and rose roughly 8.7x in 8 weeks. Tranco uses a 30-day rolling window, so the late-October climb reflects real visits from mid-September to October. In Chrome real-user data (CrUX), it wasn't ranked in August. In September it entered the global top 50k and the Mexico top 10k, and Brazil, Spain, Italy, the US and Canada also entered the top 500k.

One detail: in CrUX the best-ranked domain isn't the main site but cdn.dedicacodes.com, the subdomain recipients open the cards from. That suggests more people come to view a card than to make one (inference). Every card gets opened by its recipient, which is built-in referral growth; the 12-hour expiry then pushes the sender back to pay $2–4 for a permanent version.

In October the creator's video views dropped to about 760k in total, but 10/3 Boyfriend Day, 10/9 purple-flower season and Halloween came one after another and held up traffic. Late October he posted "Corazón de Halloween" and "Salimos en Halloween?", each getting only a few thousand views. A "Corazón Galáctico" in Nov 5 got 27k.

### Who's competing: a small category that's already crowded

"A programmer builds you a love web page" has existed on Latin American TikTok for 2023 years. DedicaCodes is a latecomer:

| Competitors | What it is | Scale |
|---|---|---|
| dedicapag.com | Almost identical: templates + photos and music + WhatsApp link + paid permanent pages. Its domain is a year older (2025-08). | Homepage shows 171,969 cards and 3,482 permanent ones; global rank 11-05 about 248k; CrUX Mexico top 10k |
| 2-luv.com | Digital love letters in envelope format, preview before paying, strong in Brazil / Portuguese-speaking markets | Claims 340k people have made one; global rank steady around 210k |
| alexx.dev | The category's most-followed creator (199k TikTok followers), sells / gives away source code, requires self-hosting | Yellow-flower videos 5.87M views, Hot Wheels 2.1M views |
| bcodepro (bcode.me + Android app) | Also a Peruvian programmer creator, made an app, takes custom orders via WhatsApp | 25k followers, web page not in global top 1M |
| code_ninja5, systecode, etc. | Still selling custom code through DMs | 1.5–20k followers, 100–4.2M views per video |
| rosify, iloveyou.gift, lovepaper, midedicatoria, etc. | Virtual bouquet / greeting card generators | the volume is smaller than it |

On product format it has nothing unique: dedicapag was earlier and bigger. Its real difference is "the creator is the product": you see the animation on TikTok, tap the link in the author's bio, fill in a name, and make the same one. Big accounts like alexx.dev have audiences but sell code regular people can't use; dedicapag has a product but no viral videos of its own. DedicaCodes has both.

### Can you ride it?

The loop is what's worth copying: **holiday viral video → fill-in generator via the bio link → free but time-limited → $2–3 lifetime one-time purchase → recipients open it and bring new visitors.** Nothing here needs a technical moat; the templates are a few hundred lines of HTML/CSS/JS.

The hard parts are three. First, the traffic belongs to the creator: a creator identity with 34k followers and single videos hitting a million views can't be copied by followers. Second, the money is small: 2.3% conversion times $2–3 comes to roughly a few thousand dollars over two months (estimate), and that's after catching the year's two biggest holiday peaks. Third, it's very seasonal: after the holidays the creator's videos dropped from millions to thousands, Tranco lags, and it will likely keep falling; the next big peak is Feb 2027 14.

### If it were you

**Verdict: C.** You can learn a clean "creator + holiday + limited-time free" playbook, but copying it isn't worth it: the category is already crowded, dedicapag was the same a year earlier, and DedicaCodes ran on its creator's own audience, which a follower can't buy.

- **Who it suits** : creators already posting "code animations" or "handmade gifts" on TikTok / Reels / Kwai with tens of thousands of followers; or a creator whose native language has no one doing this yet (Portuguese/Brazil already has 2-luv; we haven't checked Southeast Asia or the Middle East).

- **Who it doesn't suit** : indie devs with no content account who want to grow through SEO or paid ads. The ticket is $2–4, and paid acquisition won't pencil out. Also those wanting the Spanish market: dedicapag, 2-luv and a crowd of creators are already there.

- **How to do it** : content first, website second. Make an animated template for each holiday, post it as a vertical video, and the people who ask for the link in the comments are your users. The website does three things only: fill-in, link generation, and paying to stop the link expiring after 12 hours. Price in local currency, one-time payment, no subscription.

- **How to get users** : the holiday calendar is your topic list (Brazil: 6/12 Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, graduation season, Ramadan). Leave "make one like this" at the bottom of every card page to catch the recipient wave; pair each template with a landing page and a "where this holiday comes from" post, so the video's heat turns into search traffic.

- **When to start** : to catch 2027 Valentine's Day, have templates and videos going out before the end of January. A more realistic move is to test with a local holiday first.

- **What would mean we got it wrong** : ① DedicaCodes or dedicapag climbs again in 2027 February and doesn't fall after the holiday. That would mean this isn't just a holiday spike. ② The lifetime-license share clearly goes past 2.3%, or bigger revenue shows up, like subscriptions or custom enterprise deals. That would mean the money is bigger than it looks. ③ A new site with no existing creator audience breaks into the global top 100k in another language. That would mean you don't need a ready-made audience to win.

Where users come from

- **Verified** **the creator's own TikTok @jcode.1** : 34,221 followers, bio link is dedicacodes.com; 2026-09 videos totaling about 9.18M views, 09-15 yellow-flower heart 1.6M / 114k shares; from 09-12 on every post says "Personaliza tu diseño gratis en DedicaCodes.com" (TikHub)

- **Verified** **holiday events (9/21 yellow flowers, 9/30 Hot Wheels, 10/3 Boyfriend's Day, 10/9 purple flowers, Halloween)** : viral posts all clustered in 9/12–9/29; the late-October climb in Tranco matches the 30-day average over that stretch

- Inferred **recipients opening links spread it on their own** : the best CrUX origin is cdn.dedicacodes.com, where the card pages live; free links expire after 12 hours, pushing people to buy permanent versions

- Inferred **other UGC creators / community uploads** : the community section has user-uploaded Hot Wheels works (hundreds of downloads); the recall card mentions @joe.jimenez176 and @modaysentimientos, videos not verified

- Inferred **SEO blog + template landing pages** : the blog covers holiday origins (yellow flowers / purple flowers / Hot Wheels / Boyfriend's Day / Halloween), and template pages show up in Brave search; scale unknown

### One line

DedicaCodes is a Spanish-language generator for interactive web greeting cards / love pages. Users pick a template (3D yellow flowers, Hot Wheels bouquet, particle hearts, starry sky, anniversary timeline), fill in photos, text and music, and get a link to send to someone on WhatsApp. Free links expire after 12 hours; to keep one permanently you pay once, S/6 (basic, about $2.45) or S/10 (premium, about $3.85), multi-page bundles S/15–38, paid via PayPal. There are two side lines: a private couple diary, Bitácora (S/10 one-time), and a community HTML code library.

**Bottom line** : it's not a new category. It's a productized version of the Peruvian/Latin American "programmer TikToker sells love-page code" business. The creator JCode (@jcode.134k followers) has been posting "love animations built with HTML/CSS/JS" on TikTok since 2025, with comments pushing viewers to DM or WhatsApp for custom orders. 2026-08-29 he registered dedicacodes.com and swapped "DM to buy code" for "self-serve web generation plus small payments." It landed right on two Latin American TikTok gift peaks: 9/21 sending yellow flowers and 9/30 sending Hot Wheels. His September videos totaled about 9.18M views, which pushed the site into CrUX global top 50k and Mexico top 10k. It ran on three things: existing creator distribution, holiday timing, and the built-in spread of "every card gets opened by the recipient." The product itself has no unique edge; the same-model dedicapag.com came a year earlier and is bigger.

### 1. Growth data

| Metric | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Domain registration | 2026-08-29 | Verisign RDAP |
| Tranco | 10-15 667,937 → 10-22 245,858 → 10-29 151,882 → 11-05 115,039, still climbing daily | traffic library, rank_day |
| CrUX 2026-09 | Global top 50k; Mexico top 10k; Brazil, Canada, Spain, Italy, US top 500k; Germany top 1M. Not on the chart as of 2026-08 or earlier | traffic library, crux_domain |
| CrUX best origin | **cdn.dedicacodes.com** (where the card pages recipients open are hosted on this subdomain) | Same as above |
| On-site counter (11-07 homepage) | 78 templates, 69,318 cards published in total, 1,575 permanent (paid) cards, "9 people online" | dedicacodes.com homepage |

- Tranco is a 30-day rolling average, so the fast late-October climb reflects real traffic from mid-September to late October. That stretch happened to include 9/21 yellow flowers, 9/30 Hot Wheels, 10/3 Boyfriend's Day (Día del Novio), 10/9 purple flowers, and 10/310k Halloween.

- The best CrUX origin is the cdn subdomain, not the main site, which means "recipients opening cards" drives more visits than "creators making cards." Each card sent brings in a new visitor; that's the page's built-in spread.

- Paid conversion: by the on-site counter, 1,575 / 69,318 ≈ 2.3% of cards were bought as permanent versions. Rough cumulative revenue is in the few-thousand-dollar range (1,575 cards × $2.45–3.85 each, bundles priced lower), **unverified** .

### II. Competitors

This is a small, crowded category. "Programmer makes a love web page" content has existed on Latin American TikTok for 2023–2024 years (Python / HTML yellow flowers).

| Competitors | Form | Launched | Scale (in our databases) | How it differs from DedicaCodes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| dedicapag.com | Web, nearly the same model: templates + photos and music + WhatsApp link + paid permanent page + WhatsApp channel | Domain 2025-08-26 | Homepage shows 171,969 cards created, 3,482 permanent; Tranco 10-01 775k → 11-05 248k; CrUX 09 global top 100k, Mexico top 10k, Spain top 100k | A year earlier and bigger, also took off around the September peaks; interface leans English / generic. DedicaCodes wins because its creator is a big account in his own right |
| 2-luv.com | Web, "envelope-style" digital love letter with photos, music, location, QR code; preview before paying | Domain 2025-04-25 | Claims 340k users have created; Tranco steady around 213k; CrUX global top 100k, Mexico / Brazil top 50k | More polished product with an envelope narrative, strong in Brazil / Portuguese; doesn't use the "programmer code" persona |
| tlanex.com | Web, HTML yellow-flower / starry-sky templates | Not verified | Tranco about 930k; CrUX Mexico top 50k | Sells template files, developer-leaning |
| rosify.org / iloveyou.gift / justmeantforyou.com / lovepaper.app / midedicatoria.com / dedica.me | Web, virtual bouquets / greeting cards | Not verified | CrUX Mexico top 50k–500k, none in Tranco top 1M (lovepaper only in Brazil / Mexico top 500k) | the volume is smaller than it |
| bcodepro(bcode.me + Google Play App com.bcdetalles.com) | TikTok 25k followers + web editor + App, WhatsApp (+51) takes custom work | Not verified | Hot Wheels bouquet video 940k views | Also a Peruvian programmer creator who built an App, but the web project didn't chart |
| alexx.dev(alexx-dev.vercel.app) | TikTok 199k followers, sells / gives away "full code" | From ¥2024 | Yellow-flower videos 5.87M views, Hot Wheels 2.1M views | The most-followed creator in the niche, but sells source code that needs deploying; never turned it into a "fill-in-the-blank generator" |
| code_ninja5 (codeninja5.com), systecode and others | TikTok creator + WhatsApp custom work | 2024–2025 | 1.5–20k followers, 100–4.2M per video | Still stuck taking custom orders by DM, not productized |
| Canva love cards / design features | Big-company features | Already around | — | Static images, not interactive links |

**Verdict** : the model isn't unique. dedicapag is an earlier and bigger version of the same thing. What sets DedicaCodes apart is that the author is one of the top creators in this content niche, and every hit video sends people straight to their own site.

### 3. Growth tactics (evidence)

1. **The author's own TikTok (confirmed, main channel)** : @jcode.1, "JCode | Web Developer", 34,221 followers, 1.61M total likes, bio link goes straight to dedicacodes.com. The 60 videos we pulled total about 11.3M views, and 2026-09 of them did about 9.18M in one month. Top ones:
    - 09-15 "Corazón de Flores Amarillas" 1.6M views / 114k shares;
    - 09-16 "Viaje de Flores Amarillas" 1.09M;
    - From 09-24 to 09-29 there were 6 Hot Wheels bouquet videos, each 18–1.07M.

From 2026-09-12 on, every caption was changed to "Personaliza tu diseño gratis en DedicaCodes.com". Before that (2025-09's Hot Wheels bouquet at 4.24M, 2026-03's yellow flowers at 3.36M, 2026-07's girlfriend day at 490k), the caption read "Escríbeme al WhatsApp/interno si deseas el código", meaning DMs to sell code. The audience was already there; the site just gave the money a new exit. (TikHub user works / search API)

1. **Holiday timing (confirmed)** : 9/21 Yellow Flower Day and 9/30 "send your boyfriend a Hot Wheels bouquet" have been reliable TikTok spikes in Latin America for the past two years (search "hot wheels dedicatoria" and you'll see tens of millions of views from the same period in 2025). The site launched two weeks before those two peaks. Views from the October creator videos dropped to about 760k, but 10/3 Boyfriend Day, 10/9 Purple Flower Day, and Halloween came in one after another and held up the traffic.

2. **Built-in sharing (strong inference)** : the free cards expire after 12 hours, and recipients open them on their phones from the cdn subdomain. The best CrUX origin is cdn.dedicacodes.com. The card page prompts "open in browser", which suggests many visits come through TikTok / WhatsApp in-app browsers.

3. **Community UGC and other creators (partly confirmed)** : the community section has user-uploaded Hot Wheels and yellow flower works (e.g. "Carritos hot wheels" with 493 downloads). The recall card mentions @joe.jimenez176 and @modaysentimientos as sending traffic. Those accounts only show as existing (693 and 14k followers; the latter is a Colombian gift shop); the specific videos are **unverified** .

4. **SEO (early)** : the blog has the origins of the yellow and purple flower days, the Hot Wheels bouquet, Boyfriend Day, Halloween / the Peruvian Creole song day, and "generate HTML love-message templates with AI prompts"; each template has its own landing page. Brave searches for "dedicacodes" return the template pages and blog. Scale is **unknown** .

5. **Ads** : nothing matched in our library (C2, refs empty); no evidence of paid acquisition seen.

### 4. Why it made the list

- Audience first, product second: since 2025 the author has been pulling millions of views on single TikTok videos with "code love animations", so the site had traffic on day one.

- Productizing lowered the bar: from "pay by DM and wait for someone to edit code" to "fill in the blanks in 2 minutes, send free first, pay $2–4 once to keep it forever if you like it". Links expire after 12 hours plus a small one-time purchase; conversion is about 2.3%.

- Timing: two weeks after the domain was registered came 9/21 and 9/30, two gift-giving TikTok peaks across Latin America, with September at 9.18M views in a single month; October had a string of holidays following.

- Every card gets opened by its recipient, which brings in new users organically. The best CrUX origin is the cdn subdomain the recipients see.

- Localized pricing: priced in Peruvian soles / Mexican pesos, one-time PayPal payment, no subscription, suited to impulse buying among young Latin Americans.

### 5. Differentiation

Compared with self-serve generators like dedicapag and 2-luv, the difference is "the creator is the product": the template is the animation from the author's viral TikTok video, and you can make the same one by clicking the link in the profile after watching. Compared with similar creators like alexx.dev and code_ninja5, the difference is turning source code into a fill-in generator with a small one-time purchase, so ordinary people who can't deploy can still use it. "Viral video = a template you can order right away" is the main reason it took off. The product form itself (template + link + paid permanent page) is no different; dedicapag has been doing exactly this for a year, and at a bigger scale.

### 6. Visibility and copycats

- No public revenue; TrustMRR, X (x-radar 90 days 0 posts) and the media haven't covered it. **Few people know about it yet** ; it circulates only in the Latin American TikTok "programmer love code" circles.

- Copycats: the niche already has a group of similar products (dedicapag, bcodepro/bcode.me, codeninja5 and others). We haven't seen a new site clearly copying DedicaCodes; dedicapag grew at the same time, so it isn't a follower.

### VII. What to take away

- The "creator video on a holiday → fill-in-the-blank generator linked in bio → free for a limited time, then a cheap one-time purchase" loop can be copied to other languages and holidays: Brazilian Valentine's Day (Portuguese), Indonesia, Vietnam, Ramadan in the Middle East, plus Mother's Day and graduation season. 6/12

- Using "free for a limited time" to drive payment is more direct than tiered features. Every recipient who opens a card is a new user.

- Build templates and blog posts around the holiday calendar, turning TikTok's seasonal peaks into lasting SEO.

### 8. Not sure

- Whether it can keep users after the holidays: November views on the author's videos have already dropped to a few thousand to 27k each, and Tranco is a lagging indicator, so it will likely fall further. The next big peak is probably 2027-02-14.

- Revenue: only a rough estimate from on-site counts; unclear whether the permanent page count includes packages / free promotions.

- We didn't verify the videos and view counts of other creators who sent traffic; it's also unclear whether there are paid creator partnerships.

- The country breakdown of traffic can only be seen in CrUX buckets (Mexico is strongest); Peru isn't among CrUX's 21 countries, so it can't be seen.

- No App; all traffic is on the web (including TikTok / WhatsApp in-app browsers).
