"How much is my Free Fire account worth?": a new Brazilian site uses a valuation calculator to break into the top tier of game-account trading in 7 months

What it is A Brazilian marketplace for game accounts, items and digital subscriptions. The platform holds the buyer's money, releases it to the seller after the warranty period, and takes 13% of each sale.

Why it took off Brazil already had strong demand for buying and selling game accounts. It captured search traffic with a valuation calculator and hundreds of Portuguese landing pages, sold AI subscriptions and streaming shared accounts that older sites had not caught up on, and benefited as the older site DFG lost traffic.

CHow you could follow Don't build another Brazilian game-account site. Copy its acquisition method: build a valuation tool for a virtual asset where people want to sell but don't know its worth, turn would-be sellers into sellers, then roll out listing pages by category.

Grade C: the niche is mature and crowded (GGMAX leads, international sites are circling, and it is already expanding across Latin America). Escrow requires fronting money, mediating disputes and preventing fraud, which is hard for a small team to sustain. The valuation tool plus programmatic SEO approach is worth learning from, but copying the whole product isn't worthwhile. Circulating within a small circle

GameMarket is a Brazilian marketplace for game accounts and items, launched in 2026 February. The buyer's payment is held by the platform and released to the seller only after the warranty period, and the platform takes 13% of each sale. Brazilians have run this business for years; the leader GGMAX has operated for several years and charges lower commission. GameMarket squeezed in not because its product is better, but because it caught search traffic faster: a listing page per game, an "how much is my account worth" valuation tool, and dozens of game news articles a month. Its category is also broader than the older sites, selling ChatGPT, Claude and Netflix shared accounts. Its ranking doubled in September, then flattened from October.

What a player who wants to sell an account searches for

In Brazil, a Free Fire player who wants to sell their account first searches "quanto vale minha conta de free fire" (how much is my Free Fire account worth). Searching this phrase on Brave with the Brazil region in Nov 7, GameMarket ranked #3.

Clicking through leads to a calculator. The first question asks "Which characters have you maxed (8+ level)?", listing Chrono, Alok and K; it then asks how many diamonds you have, whether you own the Incubadora event gun skins, how many Elite Passes you've completed, and the highest rank you reached. The bottom of the page shows the most common price for one account in the Brazilian market: R$40 to R$800 and up. Beside it are three lines: "Free listings, 13% charged only on sale", "Funds released automatically after the warranty period", "PIX withdrawal, arrives in 1 business days", followed by a button: "Vender minha conta Free Fire" (Sell my Free Fire account).

The valuation tool serves a purpose here. The hardest part of a marketplace like this is supply: buyers can be pulled in through search, but sellers have to be found and brought in. People who search "how much is my account worth" were already thinking about selling, so after getting a price they list it right away. GameMarket built a valuation page for each of 6 games, including Free Fire and Roblox.

On the game side it sells accounts, items and top-ups for Free Fire, Roblox, Minecraft, Fortnite, GTA V and Valorant. There is also a whole row of "subscriptions" and "digital services": accounts for ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Grok, Netflix, Game Pass, Canva and Adobe, follower boosts for Instagram and TikTok, courses and software licenses. Many items under "Trending this week" on the homepage are "Steam offline accounts" priced R$1.99 to R$3.49 with automatic delivery, sold by bulk shops that list hundreds of items at a time; one shop has accumulated over 1,700 reviews.

One point about money is worth noting: on the same sale, beyond taking 13% from the seller, it can also charge buyers protection fees, card fees and membership fees. GameMarket hasn't published revenue, so all we can infer is that it has more ways to collect money than the older sites (inference).

Why it took off this year

On global website rankings (Tranco, 30-day average), it sat around #250k at the end of July, reached about #186k in mid-August, climbed from #186k to around #84k over September, was #5 in Nov 83,806, and has been roughly flat since October. Chrome real-user rankings caught it earlier: 3 months after launch (May) it entered the top 10k sites in Brazil, and in June it reached the top 5 thousand in Brazil, in the same tier as Eldorado and Eneba. By August it was in the global top 50k.

Several things came together:

  • The demand was already there. Many people in Brazil play Free Fire and Roblox, and people who buy and sell accounts already transacted through GGMAX, DFG, Mercado Livre and Instagram "middlemen". A new site doesn't have to educate anyone; it only has to show up in search results.
  • Pages scaled fast. The sitemap contains 109 "sell [game] account" pages, 31 "buy [game] account" pages, 57 guides and 6 valuation tools, plus 258 game news articles, with 28 to 61 added per month since August, which looks mass-produced. Searching "comprar conta free fire" on the Brazil region, it ranks #4; "comprar conta fortnite" #5; "comprar conta roblox" #7 to #8 (Brave, Brazil region, 11-07).
  • The product range is broad. AI subscriptions and streaming shared accounts only took off 2026 years ago, and older sites have been slow to keep up. On the complaint site Reclame Aqui, people report ChatGPT subscriptions bought that expired after three days, Game Pass accounts that went offline, and 10k followers purchased that never arrived. This shows people really are buying these things.
  • Sellers get a lot. Withdrawals are free and arrive in 1 business days, commissions drop as sales grow, and an API is open so bulk sellers can deliver automatically. The homepage's many small automatic-delivery listings priced at a few reais are built up this way.
  • The older sites are declining. DFG, the 22-year-old site, dropped from the top 5 thousand in Brazil to the top 50k in July, and the classified-style Desapego Games fell from the top 5 thousand to the top 10k in September, just as GameMarket was gaining momentum. Whether traffic flowed directly to it can't be seen from outside (inference).

Its expansion has already started: gamemarketbr.com is a Spanish version reading "GameMarket llega a Latinoamérica", aimed at Mexico.

Rankings come from global site rankings and Chrome real-user buckets, as of 11-05 and September.

So this isn't an empty market. GameMarket is a latecomer squeezing into a mature niche, and it's openly copying GGMAX.

Its weak spots

The clearest gap is after-sales. On Reclame Aqui from May to October it took 146 complaints, replied to only 47.9%, left 68 unanswered, averaged a reply every 5 days 7 hours, and got tagged "not recommended". The latest headlines read "Didn't get my item, no refund, mediation went nowhere" and "Scammed on account purchase, I want more than a refund". One buyer wrote: "It was only R$3, the guy scammed me and then made me log into the account to mess with me."

An escrow marketplace sells "peace of mind", and when mediation can't keep up, reputation drops fast. On top of that, reselling game accounts already violates the game publishers' terms, and AI subscription sharing and follower farming are greyer still, so the platform could be targeted by payment processors or the publishers at any time.

If it were you

C: You can learn a practical playbook from it, but don't build another Brazilian game-account site. The niche already has GGMAX out front, with international sites like Eldorado alongside, and GameMarket itself has already expanded into Spanish-speaking Latin America. Running escrow means fronting money, managing mediation and fighting scammers, which one or two people can't handle with hundreds of complaints. What's really worth copying from it this year is its acquisition method.

Who it suits: people who can do programmatic SEO and mass-generate landing pages; people who know a "secondhand virtual asset" scene and understand what sellers are thinking.

Who it doesn't suit: anyone without staff for after-sales mediation; anyone who can't handle payments and escrow; anyone worried about platform terms risk.

How to do it: find a virtual asset that people want to sell but don't know what it's worth, and build a valuation tool first, then add transactions. For example, things beyond mobile game accounts: domain names, Discord servers, Instagram/TikTok accounts, secondhand software licenses, a single category of in-game items, or a country and language not yet held by a GGMAX-style platform. Start with just valuation and listing matchmaking, and add escrow and mediation once you have volume.

How to get users: follow its recipe: one valuation page per category, one buy page and one sell page; "what is X worth" questions are the entry point for supply, and terms like "comprar conta X" are the entry point for buyers; pull the first users into Discord with limited-time discount codes. Give bulk sellers an API so they can fill your shelves for you.

When to move: the window for AI subscription resale is the shortest. Once OpenAI or Anthropic tighten shared-account rules, or payment channels start checking, this part is gone. The valuation tool plus programmatic SEO playbook isn't very time-sensitive, but for the same keyword in the same country, whoever gets there first has a large advantage.

Signs you've got this wrong: ① From 10 to November, Chrome real-user data shows GameMarket in Brazil reaching the top 1 thousand, in the same tier as GGMAX. That means a latecomer can really catch the leader through SEO, and following into markets beyond Brazil with similar models is worth serious consideration. ② The Spanish site gamemarketbr.com took off in Mexico within six months, showing this setup can be copied with a different language, and the opportunity is bigger than what's written here. ③ Conversely, if its complaint reply rate keeps falling and rankings start to slide, it means this model ultimately competes on after-sales, not SEO, and small teams should stay away.

Why GameMarket (gamemarket.com.br) took off

In one line: a Brazilian P2P digital goods marketplace that launched in February 2026 (game accounts, in-game items, top-ups, plus "shared accounts" for ChatGPT/Claude/Netflix/Game Pass, and follower boosting, courses). It copies GGMAX's core model (platform escrow, PIX, commission per sale), and with Portuguese SEO pages, a broader grey digital goods catalog than older sites, and seller-side incentives, it reached the top 2 thousand of Brazilian Chrome real traffic within 7 months, on par with Eldorado and Eneba and only behind GGMAX. Rankings have flattened since 5 2026-10.

App storesGoogle Play has only about 21k installs; #139 in Brazil's Shopping chartYes, but small volume

5. Why it took off

  1. Ready-made and very large demand: Brazil has many Free Fire and Roblox players, and people who buy and sell accounts were already looking for counterparties on GGMAX, DFG, Mercado Livre, and Instagram "intermediador" accounts (we found an Instagram middleman, @dulanvendasff). GameMarket doesn't need to educate a market; it only needs to capture search traffic and sellers.
  2. SEO pages spread fast and wide: within a few months of launch there were hundreds of indexable landing pages (a buy and a sell page per game, plus a valuation calculator and several game news posts a day), and core keywords reached rank 5–8. The valuation calculator pulls in people who want to sell their accounts and converts them into sellers, which is exactly the supply side a two-sided marketplace lacks most.
  3. Broader catalog than just games: besides games, it sells ChatGPT/Claude/Codex/Grok, Netflix, Game Pass, Crunchyroll, Canva/Adobe, followers, and courses. Reclame Aqui complaints include ChatGPT subscriptions expiring after 3 days, Game Pass going offline, and 10k followers never being delivered, which shows that AI subscriptions, streaming shared accounts, and follower sales are real transacted categories. AI subscription resale is a new demand over the past 2026 years, and older sites have been slow to cover it, so this one captured that share.
  4. Thorough seller-side mechanics: free PIX withdrawals arriving in 1 business days, a Prestígio commission reduction of 10%, a public API supporting bulk automated delivery, and fan/loyalty tiers. The homepage featured slots are all bulk "Steam Offline auto-delivery" sellers at R$1.99–3.49, and this high-frequency small-ticket volume underpins the claim of 500k transactions.
  5. Many ways to monetize the buyer side: beyond the 13% commission, there's GM Shield at 3–5%, GameMarket+ at R$9.90/month, a 5% credit card fee, and small PIX fees. The same GMV yields a few more points of revenue, so it can afford to spend on SEO and promo codes.
  6. Timing: the veteran DFG's traffic dropped noticeably around 2026-07 (Brazil CrUX from the top 5k to the top 50k), giving new sites search positions to take (inference).

6. Differentiation

  • Versus GGMAX: the model is nearly identical (escrow, PIX, warranty period, mediation, commission per transaction), and its commission is higher (13% vs 9.99–12.99%). The differences: a broader, more "horizontal" catalog (AI subscriptions, software, courses, social media services), buyer payment protection/subscriptions, a public seller API, more aggressive content-driven SEO, and a Latin American Spanish-language site.
  • Versus international sites (Eldorado, PlayerAuctions, G2G): native Portuguese, priced in reais, with instant PIX payments and withdrawals.
  • Why it broke out: the product differences are small; it broke out mainly through distribution, with programmatic SEO and a broad catalog capturing search traffic, plus seller incentives pulling up supply. "A horizontal catalog (especially AI subscription resale)" is the only real product differentiator, and it may account for 2026 years of incremental growth, but no data can break out the proportion.

7. How many people know about it

  • Revenue isn't public: no TrustMRR listing, and no founder sharing numbers. 0 discussions on X; no media coverage found.
  • The only public signals: 146 Reclame Aqui complaints, a response rate of 47.9%, 68 unanswered complaints, and an average response time of 5 days 7 hours (reputation risk); plus a seller tutorial YouTube account.
  • Verdict: it's circulating in niche circles. Within the Brazilian game-account trading community it already counts as a top-tier platform, but almost nobody outside that circle knows about it.
  • Copycats: I saw no clear imitator. The same-name GameMarket.gg is a global English site, relationship unverified. It is itself a copycat of the GGMAX model.

8. What to borrow

  • A two-sided marketplace cold-starts supply with a "valuation calculator": someone searching "quanto vale minha conta" gets their price estimate and is then directed straight to list their account.
  • One buy/sell landing page per category plus a news blog for the long tail can push a new domain into the top 5k of its home country's CrUX within 4–5 months.
  • Stack buyer protection, subscriptions and payment-fee income on top of the commission to raise GMV revenue per unit.
  • Same site in another language and domain to enter a neighboring market (gamemarketbr.com Spanish version), but Eldorado, G2G and other international players already operate in Latin America.
  • Risks: account trading violates game and subscription-service terms; AI and streaming shared accounts and fake followers are even grayer. Reclame Aqui response rate is low, so reputation can collapse easily.

9. Uncertain

  • The self-reported "500k transactions, 150k reviews" is unverified; real GMV and revenue are unknown.
  • We don't know how traffic splits across search, ads, direct visits and Discord; whether they buy Meta/Google ads is unconfirmed (the cookie notice suggests they do).
  • The reason for DFG's traffic drop, and whether it actually flowed to GameMarket, is only a correlation in the same period.
  • Team size and founder background not found (only the company name F HAMATI LUCENA is known).
  • Tranco flattened from October: has it hit a ceiling, or is Tranco lagging? Check CrUX for 10–November to tell.
  • The US and Canada CrUX entries may come from Brazilians abroad or the English interface; unverified.
