A free tools site run by a computer teacher in Patna: 60 million followers driving traffic, riding India's AI photo-editing prompt wave, global rank tripled in one month

What it is A free tools site built by an Indian Hindi-language computer teacher: passport photos, image compression to KB, resume and marriage Biodata, PDF tools, Meta glasses 3D spin converter, plus an AI photo-editing prompt gallery that requires the app to copy.

Why it took off The teacher has 60 million+ followers across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, and posts every tool as a short video to drive traffic. 9 to November coincided with India's ChatGPT/Gemini photo-editing craze (80 retro styles, Diwali) and the Meta glasses 3D Spin trend, and "sharda ai prompt" became a brand search.

CHow to play it Don't copy this site, copy the playbook: partner with a local-language teacher or blogger who has their own private audience, and build a toolkit for the local exam and form requirements: passport photo, file-size compression, resume, mock-test tools. Put them on a web page, ungated, with a 1-minute tutorial video for each tool, and ship a new tool within 48 hours of a trend breaking out.

Grade C: it rose on the teacher's years of accumulated 60 million followers and a seasonal photo-editing wave, which followers can't replicate. The tools and prompts have no barrier, and the prompt layer is already crowded with bloggers and large sites siphoning traffic. What's learnable is the "creator account + tools site + trends" playbook. Few people know about it yet.

Global rank 250k · 90 days ago 823k

shardatool.in is a free tools site built by a computer training institute in Patna, Bihar: passport photos, KB compression, resumes, marriage Biodata, PDF tools, plus a locked AI photo-editing prompt gallery that requires the app to copy. Its global rank climbed almost daily from mid-October, going from outside 830k to 250k within a month. The tools are easy for anyone to build; what worked was the teacher's own large Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube accounts, plus the Gemini and ChatGPT photo-editing wave India was in from 9 to November. If you want to follow, what's learnable is the playbook, not the site itself.

"Comment "PROMPT" to get yours"

On 2026 30, the Instagram account @shardacomputerclass posted: "For Prompt 🌐 Sharda ai Prompt 🌐 … Comment "PROMPT" to get yours! Make sure you FOLLOW before commenting." The owner, Aniket Kumar, runs Sharda Computer Classes in Patna and posts short Hindi "learn in 1 minutes" videos: "Passport Photo in 1 Minute!" (7-10), "1 MIN PHOTO ALBUM" (9-12), old photo restoration, and AI plus Excel. The account now has 196k followers and 410 posts; the Facebook page of the same name has 447k likes, and the YouTube channel has 34.7k subscribers and 956 videos.

After the comment PROMPT, people are taken to shardatool.in/ai. On Nov 6 the page opens to a wall of photo-effect examples, sorted into men, women, festivals, couples, weddings and name stickers. Each image is captioned only with its share count: "Cute Sketch Look 6671 Share", "Green Diwali Look 6432", "Royal Diwali Look 6032". Tap any one and you get the same Hindi sentence:

Prompt lene ke liye "Sharda Tool - Ai Prompt" mobile app install karein.

It means: to get the prompt, please install the "Sharda Tool - Ai Prompt" mobile app.

On Oct 13, an English AI image-generation site published "Sharda AI Prompt Guide," whose first sentence explains what "Sharda AI prompt" is and where the official gallery lives. The name of a Patna training institute had become a category term in India's photo-editing circles.

What it is

The site packs 20 free mini-tools, with ads on the homepage reading "150000+ file operations, 27000+ users, 7000+ searches a day" (self-reported, unverified):

  • ID and form tools: passport photo, image compression to KB (for the upload-size limits on Indian exam forms), resume, ATS resume, marriage Biodata, GST invoice, QR code, age calculator.
  • PDF tools: edit, compress, merge, convert to image.
  • Practice tools: typing practice, 100 computer-skill lessons (mouse clicks, copy-paste, shortcuts).
  • Trend tools: AI photo-edit prompt gallery, self-described as "10000+"; "Meta Glasses Converter," which crops a regular photo to 3024×4032 and writes in Ray-Ban Meta glasses capture metadata, so when shared to Instagram Stories it shows a glasses icon and a 3D spin effect, all processed locally; and animated wedding invitations.

The homepage also interlinks a chain of sites from the same owner: paid computer courses at shardacomputer.in / .com, free mock tests at shardatest.in (teacher eligibility, railway, SSC exams for Bihar and UP, 10/12th grade), job listings at shardaresult.in, and a resume site at shardaresume.com. Another site, shardaaipromt.in, looks like a knockoff, but its contact email and address match Sharda's, and he registered it himself in August.

The Google Play app in.shardatool.twa (the one you have to install before you can copy the prompts) is just the website wrapped in an app shell, with ads. It has 10K+ downloads and has been updated 10-29 times. Per AppBrain's records, it first listed for only 41 days, got pulled in August, and was later relisted.

The audience is clear: students and job seekers in second- and third-tier Indian cities who need to fill application forms, take passport photos, and write Biodata, plus young people who want an AI festival photo for Instagram.

How the ranking climbed

Tranco is a 30-day rolling average that lags real traffic by a week or two, so the real jump most likely happened in late September to early October (inferred). The site already had a base in India: in Chrome real-user data, its India tier sat at top 50k from May through September.

The prompts weren't the only thing that grew. The mock-exam site shardatest.in's India tier jumped in September from top 500k straight to top 10k; its global rank first broke into the top 10-19M at 1 and is now at 11-05 260k; the job-results site shardaresult.in's India tier rose from top 500k to top 100k. The whole network of sites rose together, and from the outside it's impossible to tell how much each one contributed.

Where users come from

First, the teacher's own accounts. Across three platforms he has 60+ million followers. Every new tool becomes a new reel, so cold start costs almost nothing. Posts use the old "comment a keyword to get the resource" trick to drive engagement, and the /ai page has five buttons for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, and WhatsApp channels to pull people into owned channels.

Second, trending moments. In September, Indian media ran a lot of coverage of the ChatGPT "80s retro style" photo edit (BusinessToday 9-11, IBTimes 9-09), then came Navratri and Diwali (Nov 8 this year). The site's most-shared posts were all Diwali looks, each with five to six thousand shares. The Meta glasses 3D Spin trick appeared on Instagram in early September, and he quickly built a version of it and put it in the homepage carousel.

Third, the name became a search term. "sharda ai prompt" is now a search people actually type. The evidence is that big sites have started poaching the traffic: SeaArt, Media.io, CapCut's Dreamina, Pixwit, and ImageLayered all built "Sharda AI Prompt" landing pages saying, in effect, "copy the prompt and generate it right here." Emojora ranked a page on Nov 4 that explicitly says Sharda's prompts can be copied here with no app install.

Fourth, word of mouth in training centers and cyber cafés. A Facebook tutorial video from someone else titled "Passport Size Photo Maker Without Photoshop Using Sharda Tools" suggests people in computer training classes and CSC (India's Common Service Centre counters, which help people file forms and apply for documents) are spreading it on their own.

I couldn't find any paid ads, but not finding them doesn't mean there weren't any.

The "install the app to copy" gate didn't work

This was the only real product design on the site. It was meant to drive installs, boost retention, and put ads inside the app. What happened: the website broke into the global top 250k, but only a bit over 10k people installed the app. People who were blocked didn't install. They went and searched "sharda ai prompt no app install," which Emojora, SeaArt, and Media.io picked up. In effect, he used his own followers to grow an SEO keyword for everyone else.

That string of Emojora landing pages shows one thing: in India, plenty of people already run "prompt creator" accounts. Sharda was just the one with the most followers and a tool site attached. Neither the tools nor the prompts have a barrier to entry.

If it were you

C: worth learning from, not worth copying step for step. It took off because the teacher himself spent years building 60+ million Hindi followers, plus a seasonal photo-edit craze. Copycats can't get either of those. The product itself is a pile of free tools you can find anywhere, and the prompt layer is already crowded with creators and big sites. What you can take away is the playbook: a creator with an audience, a tool site, and a trend-driven launch within 48 hours.

Who it suits: education and skills creators who already have tens of thousands of followers on some platform, especially in a local language and aimed at students and job seekers in smaller cities; or developers who can build web tools and split revenue with creators like these.

Who it doesn't suit: people with no traffic of their own who are counting on SEO or a product that grows slowly on its own. Passport photos, PDFs, and prompts are already dominated by big sites in search results.

How to build it: first find a local-language teacher or creator with an owned channel (Bengali, Tamil, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Urdu all work) and build them a "forms and documents" toolkit: passport photo sizes that match local application requirements, KB compression, resume and matrimonial profile templates, and local exam mock tests. Serve it on the web with no lock-in and no forced app install. Monetize with ads and by sending people to their courses. Put trend-driven tools on their own pages and add new ones as needed.

How to get users: rely entirely on the creator's accounts. Every tool gets a 1-minute tutorial short, using "comment a keyword to get the link" to drive engagement, with Telegram / WhatsApp channels on the page to keep people. Whenever a new photo-edit style or trick shows up on social media, put up a tool or prompt collection within 48 hours and post a video about it.

When to get in: on the prompt side, interest will likely fade after Diwali (Nov 8). Getting in now is already late. The toolkit side has no hard deadline; it follows local exam seasons, wedding season, and festivals.

What would show you misjudged it: (1) if shardatool.in's ranking is still climbing one or two months after Diwali, its traffic is mainly from year-round needs like documents and mock exams, not just festival spikes, which means the "local essentials toolkit" path is bigger than it looks; (2) if its ranking drops back below 500k soon after Diwali, this wave was purely trend traffic, and without the creator and the trend, there would be no site; (3) if you partner with a creator, post a dozen or so videos, and the site still gets only a few hundred visitors a day, it means followers' interest in "tools" doesn't translate into clicks to the website, and this playbook depends on accounts the size of Sharda's.

Why shardatool.in showed up

Bottom line

shardatool.in is a free tool site run by Aniket Kumar, a computer teacher in Patna, Bihar (Sharda Computer Classes). It doesn't rely on SEO or on a superior product. Its traffic comes from his own accounts: 196K Instagram followers, 447K Facebook likes, 34.7K YouTube subscribers. He used short videos to send followers to the site. In 2026, from 9 to October, India was in the middle of a "Gemini / ChatGPT photo-editing prompt" wave (80 retro look in September, Diwali in 10 to November), and Meta glasses' "3D Spin" trend hit Instagram at the same time. His AI prompt gallery, combined with a design where prompts stay locked until you install the app, spread on social media, and "sharda ai prompt" became a brand search term. Now large sites like SeaArt, Media.io and CapCut Dreamina have built dedicated "Sharda AI Prompt" landing pages to capture that traffic.

What it is

  • Self-description on the site: 20 a free mini-tool suite, including passport photos, image compression to KB, resume / marriage Biodata, PDF editing and compression, GST invoices, QR codes, typing practice, animated wedding invitations, the "Meta Glasses Converter", plus the headline "10000+ AI Prompts" gallery. The homepage carries ads and claims "150000+ file operations, 27000+ users, 7000+ searches per day." (https://shardatool.in, read 2026-11-06)
  • AI prompt page /ai: effect images sorted by Men / Women / Festival / Couple / Wedding / Name Sticker and other categories. Each image shows only a share count, e.g. "Cute Sketch Look 6671 Share", "Green Diwali Look 6432", "Royal Diwali Look 6032". Clicking shows a Hindi prompt: "Prompt lene ke liye "Sharda Tool - Ai Prompt" mobile app install karein", meaning you must install the app to copy the prompt. (https://shardatool.in/ai, 2026-11-06)
  • Meta Glasses Converter: crops an ordinary photo to 3024×4032, writes Ray-Ban Meta EXIF data, and posting it to Instagram Story triggers the "glasses" icon and a 3D rotation effect. All processing happens locally. (https://shardatool.in/meta-glasses-converter)
  • Other sites under the same operator: shardacomputer.in / .com (paid computer courses; the YouTube bio says "Free Coaching + ₹40,000 Assistance"), shardatest.in (free mock tests covering Super TET, Lucent, Speedy, railway / SSC, Bihar and UP 10/12 grade), shardaresult.in (job listings), shardaresume.com (resumes and Biodata), computer.shardatool.in (computer skills practice, 100 keys), and shardaaipromt.in. That last one isn't a copy: the contact email is the same [email protected], the address is the same Sharda Computer Classes Patna, and the domain was 2026-08-06 registered (https://shardaaipromt.in/contact; registry.in newly registered domains list).
  • App: in.shardatool.twa on Google Play is just the website wrapped as a TWA (Trusted Web Activity), developer Sharda Computer, now 10K+ downloads, with ads, last updated 2026-10-29. AppBrain records that its first listing lasted only 41 days, delisted in August 2026 with 1.1K installs, then relisted. The same developer also has "Sharda Computer: Online Course" with 1K+ downloads. Neither app is in our googleplay database.

Where the traffic lands: almost entirely on the web. The app has only 10K+ downloads, while the site has reached CrUX India top 50K and global top 250K. The "install the app to copy" gate didn't drive many installs. It mostly sent people searching "sharda ai prompt no app install," which bred the traffic-capturing sites below.

Growth data (our traffic database)

  • Tranco (shardatool.in): 2026-07-30 was 823,466, and through 10-12 it ranged sideways between 830K and 860K. From 10-13 it climbed almost every day: 10-13 688,265 → 10-20 439,066 → 10-29 302,615 → 11-05 249,575. Tranco is a 30-day rolling average and lags by 1–2 weeks; working backward, real traffic jumped from late September to early October and is still rising.
  • CrUX (shardatool.in): Global tier was top 500k from 2026-05 to 08, then climbed to top 100k in September. India tier sat at top 50k from 05 to 09, so it already had a steady base there. Netherlands hit top 500k for the first time in September. My guess is CDN, crawlers or overseas Indian users, unverified.
  • Sister sites rose together: shardatest.in's CrUX India bucket jumped from top 500K in August to top 10K in September, and its global bucket entered the top 100K. On Tranco it first entered the top 10-19M in 1 (892,006), and by 11-05 it was already 264,051. shardaresult.in's India bucket rose from top 500K to top 100K in September. So the whole Sharda network grew in September, not just the prompt gallery; the mock-test site broke out at the same time.
  • Social footprint (search result summary, 2026-11): Instagram @shardacomputerclass 196K followers, 410 posts; Facebook @shardacomputerclass 446,948 likes; YouTube @sharda_computer 34.7K subscribers, 956 videos; a secondary Instagram @shardacomputer_ai (564 followers, "Mange by @shardacomputerclass").

Growth tactics (evidence)

  1. Owned social accounts driving traffic (confirmed): Aniket Kumar's Instagram 196K, Facebook 447K, YouTube 34.7K, with Hindi "learn in 1 minutes"-style short videos, e.g. "Passport Photo in 1 Minute!" (2026-07-10), "1 MIN PHOTO ALBUM" (2026-09-12), "AI + Excel", and "Old Photo को Restore कैसे करें". Posts ask users to comment "PROMPT" to get prompts, e.g. 2026-06-30's "For Prompt 🌐 Sharda ai Prompt 🌐 … Comment "PROMPT" to get yours! Make sure you FOLLOW before commenting". The /ai page also has YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Telegram buttons.
  2. Riding the India AI photo-prompt craze and festive season (timing confirmed, causation is inference): 2026-09 Indian media ran coverage of the ChatGPT "80s retro" trend (BusinessToday 09-11, IBTimes 09-09; thecreatorsindex says weekly searches rose 5000%), and 10–November covers Navratri through Diwali (2026-11-08). The top hits are all Diwali looks, each with 5000–6500 shares.
  3. Meta glasses 3D Spin trick (confirmed it was done, contribution size uncertain): Instagram reels titled "make a 3D spin story without Meta glasses" appeared around 2026-09-02/03. Sharda quickly shipped a matching tool and put it in the homepage carousel.
  4. "Install the app to copy it" (confirmed it exists, limited effect): the goal was to drive installs, retention, and ad impressions. But the app has only 10K+ installs, and that gate turned "sharda ai prompt" and "sharda tools no app" into search terms, which Emojora, SeaArt, and Media.io then captured.
  5. Cross-linked sites and education leads (confirmed): the homepage links to courses, mock tests, job postings, and resume sites. The mock-test site broke into India's top 10k in September, possibly tied to exam season in UP and Bihar (not verified). The whole network lifted the domain's rankings together.
  6. Word-of-mouth referrals (partly confirmed): other Facebook accounts post tutorial videos like "Passport Size Photo Maker Without Photoshop Using Sharda Tools," showing that computer training centers and CSC internet cafe circles spread it on their own.
  7. Paid ads: no evidence found. Our ad library doesn't index it, which doesn't mean it isn't buying ads.

Why it broke out (by importance)

  1. Distribution first, product second: an Hindi-speaking computer teacher built a following of 60+ million on social media, and the tool site was just a "perks page" for his followers with ad slots added. Each new tool could be turned into a reel, so cold-start cost was close to zero.
  2. Timing: 9–November is peak demand for India's AI photo prompts (80s retro, Navratri, Diwali), plus the new Meta glasses 3D Spin trick. Once a trend surfaces, he can ship a prompt or tool within 24–48 hours, then post a video.
  3. Brand-name effect: "locked" prompts paired with eye-catching share counts created scarcity on Instagram, and "Sharda ai prompt" became the term Indians type when searching for prompts. Big sites moving in to siphon traffic is itself evidence the term has substantial search volume.
  4. The whole network rose together: the mock-test site surged in the same period, pulling domain authority and cross-link traffic up with it.

Differentiation

There is almost no product differentiation: stronger older sites already handle passport photos, KB compression, and PDFs, and several others run prompt and Meta EXIF tools. The real differences are three: the Hindi teacher himself acts as an IP and brings in private-domain traffic; one site covers the full set of essentials for job seekers and students in India's second- and third-tier cities (passport photos, form photos, resumes, biodata, mock tests, job listings, courses); and it reacts to trends fast. "Install the app to copy it" is its only product-level design choice. It isn't differentiation, and it handed traffic to the siphon sites. It broke out on distribution and timing, not on product.

Visibility

Few people know about it yet: no public revenue, and no English media or major X accounts have written about it (the x-radar corpus has 0 posts in 90 days). But within India's AI photo-prompt community it's already a brand term, and SEO siphon sites (Emojora 11-04, ImageLayered 10-12, SeaArt, Media.io, Dreamina, Pixwit) have already moved in on it.

What you can borrow

  • "Teacher / creator IP + a free tool site + ads": every tool is a short-video topic, and the tool site in turn funnels people to courses and private channels.
  • Turn trends into tools: when a new trick appears on social media (a Gemini style, the Meta 3D Spin), ship a single-page tool or prompt collection within 48 hours, then pair it with a tutorial short video.
  • A toolkit of "forms and ID" utilities for local essentials (passport photos, KB compression, biodata, invoices), offered in the local language. This works well in emerging markets.
  • Lesson: locking content behind an app hands search demand to siphon sites. Serving it on the web and monetizing with ads works better.

Still unclear

  • No traffic source data exists to split the late-September spike between prompt galleries, the Meta glasses tool, and the mock-test site.
  • Why the Netherlands newly entered CrUX's top 500k.
  • Whether paid ads are running.
  • Actual ad and course revenue.
  • Self-reported figures like "27000+ users."
