# Saudi teachers fill out dozens of lesson plans a week. A small Mecca company fills them in with one click and makes 75 riyals a year

**What it is** A browser extension and app that auto-fills lesson plans and assignments on the lesson-planning platform the Ministry of Education requires Saudi teachers to use. Around it sit a free plan generator, a resource site for textbooks and exams, and a free classroom management app.

**Why it's taking off** The Aug 23 school reopening is driving a seasonal lift across Saudi education apps. On top of that, a free classroom management app and a free lesson-plan generator that launched in August got pushed hard by teacher creators on TikTok (top single video: 217k views), and their share of traffic versus the Ministry of Education's platform is up about 2.5x.

**B** **How you could follow it** Don't go head-to-head in Saudi Arabia. Find an official system in another country where the government forces teachers (or doctors, clerks) to fill in forms one by one with lots of repetitive work. Build a one-click bulk-fill extension, charge a small annual fee, and bring in users with a free tools page and short videos from teacher creators during back-to-school season. This only works if you're a user of that system yourself.

Grade B: the playbook is clear, few people know about it, and the paid need is created by policy, so it could be reused in other countries. But the local leader in Saudi is already solid, and copycats never get off the ground. Entering another country means you need local teacher credibility and deep knowledge of the curriculum, and the whole business depends on someone else's system: one platform redesign or one extension update and it's gone. What people in the know are saying

Global rank 98k · 90 days ago 487k

تحضيري (Tahdiri, meaning "my lesson prep") is a toolkit for public school teachers in Saudi Arabia. Its core is a browser extension. The Ministry requires teachers to write lesson plans and post assignments for every class on the official platform "مدرستي" (Madrasati). The extension fills in a whole week of lessons in one click and costs 75 riyals a year (about $20). It isn't new: it hit the Chrome Web Store 2022 years ago and now has 100k users, ranking first in its niche. This autumn its site's global rank climbed from 970k during the summer trough to 98k. Most of that is the seasonal back-to-school bump. The extra came from a free classroom management app launched in August, and a set of free lesson-prep tool pages.

### An explainer video with 210k plays

Saudi school year 1448/2026, school starts in August 23. In September 1, the second week of school, TikTok account @myspeedoffice posted a video titled "🌟Explaining the classroom management app from تحضيري, it's amazing", tagged #الاداء_الوظيفي (teacher performance evaluation) and #مدرستي. By early November it had 217k views and 3,142 shares (TikTok). Shares were 1.4% of views, which means teachers forwarded it into their grade-level WhatsApp groups.

Over the same period, several other teacher creators posted the same kind of video: @micronksa and @db88_ed each got 137k views, @almalki640 got 102k, and @m0faq's title was simply "الإدارة الصفية free, and really useful". All of them clustered between late August and October.

App Store reviews from the Saudi store show why teachers are passing it along:

> "An app that puts all your classroom tools in one place, no paper: attendance, teaching strategies, instant student scoring, and you can even send stars and gifts." (9-21,5 stars)

> "Best part is you can import straight from the platform (Madrasati), and you can print reports. You really saved us time." (9-05,5 stars)

> "I got this app with my تحضيري subscription. I think it's creative, and it can compete with كشوف." (10-08,5 stars)

The last review mentions كشوف (Kushoof), an established classroom management app that has been around in Saudi Arabia for five years.

### What problem it actually solves

The problem is policy-made. The Saudi Ministry of Education requires teachers to prepare each lesson separately on Madrasati, post assignments, and attach enrichment resources from عين (the Ministry's digital resource library). A teacher with 20 to 30 lessons a week across several classes has to fill in the same lesson again for each class. It's pure administrative grind, and skipping it hurts your evaluation.

تحضيري's extension runs in the browser. After you log into Madrasati, you click once and it fills in the week's lesson plans, assignments, and resources according to your timetable. To subscribe you enter your Ministry email address (@moe.gov.sa), and each account is tied to one teacher.

It doesn't sell just this one thing. The operator is a Mecca company called صروح الملتقى (Sruh Almultaqa), which built a whole set of products around the core extension:

| Product | Form | Monetization | Scale (source, date) |
|---|---|---|---|
| تحضيري extension | Chrome / Edge / Safari | Paid core | Chrome 100k users, rated 3.24 (Chrome Web Store, 11-07); 5,210 ratings on the iOS Safari version in the Saudi store |
| تحضيري للمعلم | Android / iOS / Windows / Huawei | Same subscription | Android 164k installs, 7 days + 2,434 (Google Play, 11-06) |
| الإدارة الصفية (classroom management) | iOS / Android, launched 2026-08 | Free download | iOS: 3 month, 4,073 ratings, 4.86 stars, #12 in the Saudi Education free chart; Android 28k installs (11-06) |
| k.tahdiri.com | Web | Free | Weekly / semester plan generator, exports to PDF and Word; the site's highest-traffic subdomain |
| q.tahdiri.com, tahdiri.com/s/ | Web | Free | Index of 12 resource categories including textbooks, answer keys, exams, PPTs, mind maps, and remediation plans |
| board.tahdiri.com | Web | Free | Classroom whiteboard, which they pitch as "an alternative to Teams" |

There is also an extension for principals called واضح.

### Why it picked up this autumn

To be clear, most of it is the school start. The site's global rank (Tranco, 30-day rolling average, lagging real traffic by a week or two) moved like this:

| Date | tahdiri.com | madrasati.sa (Ministry platform) |
|---|---|---|
| 7-30 (end of school year) | 350k people | 2,984 ratings |
| 8-13 (summer trough) | 970k people | 11,683 ratings |
| 10-06 | 197k people | 10,633 ratings |
| 11-05 | 98k people | 2,041 ratings |

The Ministry's platform itself rose about 30x over the same 5 days, so the whole Saudi education category moved together. The "90x in 5 days" figure starts right at the summer trough.

But it did beat the category. Compare its rank with Madrasati's: at the end of July it was 118x, and by early November that had narrowed to 48x, a relative share gain of about 2.5x. Chrome's real-user global tiers tell the same story: in May (end of last school year) it was in the top 100k, by July it had dropped out of the top 1M, and in September it reached the top 50k, a tier higher than at the end of last semester.

The extra came from two free things:

1. **A free classroom management app** launched on iOS in Aug 7 and picked up 4,073 ratings in 3 months, about a quarter of the 15,689 that veteran rival كشوف has built up over five years. It's pulling back to تحضيري the teachers who were sharing it on TikTok during back-to-school season.

2. **Free plan generators and resource pages.** The highest-traffic subdomain is k.tahdiri.com (weekly and semester plan generators), and from September the resource index q.tahdiri.com also entered the rankings. Searching "أفضل برنامج تحضير منصة مدرستي" (best lesson-prep program for Madrasati) puts it on the first page of results (early November). Web traffic comes mainly from these free pages, not from the paid extension itself.

One more thing worth noting: on the App Store, the app's rating count went up by 1, 3, 31, 41, and 33 in one day from November 0 to 3 (the days before and after saw only a few), and a batch of one-word reviews appeared at the same time ("سادس", people's names, "طالباتي قالو" (my students said)). It looks like teachers had students rate it in class (inference, not verified).

### Where users come from

- **The official TikTok posts daily.** @tahdiri has 27k followers and 140 posts. From October 26 to November 5 it posted almost every day, each one covering a feature in rotation: "تحضيري forms" got 10-22k views, and the smart whiteboard got 152k (TikTok, 10-31 52 11-05).

- **Teacher creators explaining it.** These are the opening examples. I found no evidence of paid partnerships; the format looks like a mix of influencer promotion and organic sharing.

- **Free tools drive search and store traffic.** Each free tool has its own page or app, which picks up Google and app store search traffic.

- **Private channels.** The website and TikTok bios link to WhatsApp, Telegram groups and channels, and Snapchat. The X account @dev903090 posts pricing and features. An older YouTube video, "طرق الاشتراك" (how to subscribe), has 80k views.

- **Government endorsements displayed up front.** The website footer lists: Ministry of Commerce معروف certification, VAT number, registration with the national cybersecurity platform حصين, personal data protection registration, a vocational training license, and SDAIA (Saudi Data and AI Authority) AI provider certification. When a teacher has to hand their Ministry account to a third-party tool, badges like these matter more than anything else.

### Where the money comes from

75 riyals for a school year (per an older tweet; third-party roundups say it can also be paid per semester for 47 riyals). Accepts mada cards, Visa, Apple Pay, STC Pay, and bank transfer, plus group subscriptions for schools and grade levels. One subscription works across all platforms.

Paying users and revenue have not been disclosed. Rough estimate: if two to three in ten of the 100k Chrome users pay, that's 1.5M to 2.25M riyals a year (about $400k to $600k) (estimate; there is no direct evidence of the paid rate).

### Who it's competing with

| Competitors | Form | Scale | Compared with تحضيري |
|---|---|---|---|
| مدرستي بلس(autorasd.com) | Chrome extension, 2022-02 | 40k users | Also automates Madrasati lesson prep, but no resource library or free app |
| تحضير بلس(ynafs.com) | Web / app / extension | Extension 627 users | Nearly identical features, 43 riyals per semester, about an order of magnitude cheaper |
| كشوف(Kushoof) | iOS / Android,2020 | 15,689 ratings in the Saudi iOS store | Established classroom management app; in response to الإدارة الصفية it offered "free for a limited time," and in August also pushed its own lesson-prep extension, 1,000 users |
| حَضّر(haderedu.com) | Web | Very small | Focuses on AI-generated lesson plans and exams, does not integrate with Madrasati auto-fill |
| ClassDojo | App,2012 | 37,824 ratings in the Saudi iOS store | Global, no Arabic localization, doesn't work with Noor / Madrasati |

Between August and November, the Chrome Web Store added a new batch: معلم — نور ومدرستي, نسق, مُعدّ, تقارير مدرستي, ركيز المعلم, and an Oman one copying the name تَحْضِيرِيّ outright. Each has only dozens of users (Chrome Web Store, November). On iOS, classroom management apps like إبداعي برو and مجموعاتي have also appeared.

No single feature is hard to build. The hard part is adapting to all of Saudi's curriculum and the Ministry of Education's systems (Madrasati, the Noor grading system, the عين resource library), plus the 20,000 PPT decks and full sets of textbook answers. That's why it's more than twice the size of the #2 product and an order of magnitude bigger than the #3.

### The biggest risk: it runs on top of someone else's system

In March of year 2023, a two-star App Store review titled "حرب ضروس" (a fierce war) appeared:

> "The developers of تحضيري and مدرستي are really at war, and teachers and students are the ones who suffer." (2023-03-27)

Almost all the negative reviews in those weeks were about one thing: every time the platform updated, the extension broke. "After the update, all my prepared lessons were gone, and the money I paid was wasted." Whenever the Ministry changed a page, it had to change too. If the Ministry ever added a "copy last week's plan" feature inside Madrasati, or simply banned third-party extensions, its core paid feature would disappear. I found no evidence of such a policy from the Ministry. This year it has shifted its focus to the free classroom management app and resource sites, which can be read as building a fallback that doesn't depend on Madrasati (inference).

### If it were you

**In one line** : B. Head-on competition with it in Saudi Arabia is pointless. What's worth copying is its playbook: apply it in another country, to a different system the government requires people to use. But you have to be a user of that system yourself, and you have to absorb the risk of the platform changing at any time.

**Who it suits** : a team of 1–2 people, one of whom is (or has many colleagues who are) a public school teacher in some country, worn down daily by repetitive data entry on a Ministry of Education platform, and who knows exactly which step is the most annoying; the other should be able to write browser extensions and build form auto-fill. Among Arabic-speaking countries, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE and Kuwait each have their own education platforms. Start by checking which one mandates lesson-by-lesson entry. The same playbook also transfers to scenarios like hospital medical records and government filings: official systems that people are required to use, with clumsy interfaces and repetitive entry.

**Who it doesn't suit** : anyone who wants to build yet another Madrasati lesson-prep extension in Saudi Arabia (this autumn's new batch each has only dozens of users, while the leader has 100k users, covers every platform and holds a pile of government certifications); anyone not based locally who doesn't understand local curricula and assessment rules; anyone who can't stand having to patch everything overnight every time the platform changes.

**How to build it** : start with just one thing: a browser extension that completes the most repetitive step on that platform (batch-filling lesson plans and batch-assigning homework by timetable) in one click, charging a small annual fee in the local currency, 50–100 tier, one account per teacher. Once that works, follow its path and add free adjacent products: a weekly plan generator, a textbook and exam resource page, and a classroom management app, each with its own landing page to capture search traffic. Put every government registration and data-protection certification you can get on the homepage.

**How to acquire users** : the only big window is from two weeks before the school year starts to one month after. Post a short video every day from the official account, each explaining one feature. Find three to five teacher creators with tens of thousands of followers to do walkthroughs, and write "free" in the titles. Point every video toward WhatsApp / Telegram groups, since teachers spread things through grade-level group chats.

**When to start** : get the extension ready before the next school year in the target country, and start posting videos a month before it begins. Many Arabic-speaking countries start school in late August to September, so this season has already passed. The realistic goal is a small test at the start of the second semester (usually in January), with the full launch during the August school-start season of year 2027.

**What would mean you've got it wrong** : ① the platform in the country you chose doesn't require lesson-by-lesson entry, or already has a built-in "copy" function, so teachers don't feel the pain; ② the platform bans third-party extensions, or, as in year 2023, every update breaks the extension for weeks in a row; ③ in Saudi Arabia: the Ministry launches batch lesson prep inside Madrasati, or the Chrome user count for تحضيري goes down instead of up when the next semester starts.

### One line

تحضيري (Tahdiri) is a **toolkit for public school teachers in Saudi Arabia** built by Sruh Almultaqa, a company based in Mecca. Its core paid feature is a browser extension / app that completes an entire week's lesson prep in one click on the Ministry of Education's "مدرستي" (Madrasati) platform (filling in lesson plans, assigning homework, and attaching extension resources from the عين platform). Around it is a large set of free tools: the weekly / semester plan generator k.tahdiri.com, an index of textbooks, exams, PPTs and mind maps at q.tahdiri.com, the classroom management app "الإدارة الصفية", and the smart whiteboard board.tahdiri.com, among others. The paid tier costs 75 riyals per school year.

### Verdict

This product came back into the picture mainly because of **a seasonal rebound with Saudi school start** , not a sudden breakout. On top of that, it did outperform the market, thanks to two things:

1. Before the 2026-08 school year, it launched a **free classroom management app, الإدارة الصفية** , along with a full set of free web pages for planning and resource indexing;

2. Teacher creators concentrated explainer videos on TikTok, and the official account posted one every day.

The company has been the leader in this Saudi niche since year 2022. It isn't a new product.

### 1. How the traffic grew: mainly seasonal, but its share is rising too

| Date | tahdiri.com Tranco | madrasati.sa (Ministry of Education platform) Tranco |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-07-30 | 352,808 | 2,984 |
| 2026-08-13 (summer trough) | 966,663 | 11,683 |
| 2026-09-17 | 490,415 | 26,464 |
| 2026-10-06 | 197,100 | 10,633 |
| 2026-11-05 | 97,835 | 2,041 |

Source: traffic.rank_day. Tranco is a 30-day rolling average, lagging real traffic by 1–2 weeks.

- Saudi's 1448 school year **starts 2026-08-23** (rahhal.wego.com, saudicalendars.com). The card's d90 (around early August) falls in the summer break, so most of the "90 days ×5" is seasonal.

- The whole Saudi education category was rising over the same period: madrasati.sa went from 10,633 to 2,041 (about ×5 over 30 days), and ien.edu.sa (the عين platform) and edu-forms.com were about ×3.5 over 30 days.

- **Its share is indeed rising.** The tahdiri/madrasati rank ratio went: 7-30 then 118,11-05 then 48. Looking at the CrUX global tiers: 2026-05 (end of last school year) it was in the top 100k, then 2026-06 it dropped to the top 500k, 2026-07 it was outside the top 1M, 2026-08 it came back into the top 100k, and **2026-09 it reached the top 50k** , one tier higher than at the end of last semester (traffic.crux_domain).

- The biggest-traffic origin in CrUX is **k.tahdiri.com** (the free weekly / semester plan generator, exportable to PDF/Word), and since 2026-09 q.tahdiri.com (the textbook, exam and PPT index) has also made the list. So web traffic comes mainly from these free tool pages, not from the paid extension itself.

- The foreign CrUX entries (ca/de/es/fr/gb/tr/it/id) are most likely Saudi teachers abroad and families studying overseas, not verified. There is no sa tier in the CrUX data.

### 2. Multi-platform product scale (traffic is mainly in the app / extension; the web is the entry point for tools and resources)

| Product | Platform | Launched | Scale (source) |
|---|---|---|---|
| تحضيري extension | Chrome | 2022-08-30 | 100k users, 3.24 stars, 208 ratings, unchanged from 11-01 to 11-07 (chromestore.item_snap) |
| تحضيري (Safari extension) | iOS | 2022-09-19 | sa 5,210 ratings, #95 in the Education free chart (appstore) |
| تطبيق تحضيري للمعلم | Android | 2024-06-03 | 164,365 installs, +2,434 in 7 days, #54 in the sa Education chart (googleplay) |
| تطبيق تحضيري للمعلم | iOS | 2023-08-19 | 721 ratings |
| **الإدارة الصفية** (classroom management) | iOS | **2026-08-07** | **4,073 ratings and a 4.86 rating in 3 months** , #12 in the sa Education free chart; from 11-01 to 11-03 it gained 31–41 ratings a day (appstore.app_day) |
| الإدارة الصفية | Android | 2026-08-04 | 28,326 installs, from 10-29 to 11-06, up about 3,100 (googleplay.app_day) |
| تصحيحي | iOS | 2026-03-23 | 41 ratings |

There are also a Windows exe, a Microsoft Store version, a Huawei AppGallery version, and an extension for principals called "واضح" (official site: apps.html).

Price: 75 riyals/school year; an older tweet said "75 riyals/school year", and a third-party roundup says 47 riyals/semester. Accepts mada, Visa, Apple Pay, STC Pay, bank transfer, plus group subscriptions (tahdiri.com/pricing-data, x.com/dev903090/status/1973640431733805565). Subscribing requires the teacher's Madrasati email (@moe.gov.sa). Tabby / Tamara are claims from the recalled card and were not verified in this pass.

### 4. Growth levers (evidence)

1. **The TikTok official account posts daily** : @tahdiri has 27,229 followers and 140 posts, 10/26 to 11/05 it posts almost every day, with single posts getting 2K to 150K views. For example, 10-22's "تحضيري فورمز" got 152K, and 10-31's smart whiteboard got 52K (TikHub). Each post pushes one feature, rotating through them. Whether they run DOU+/Promote ads is unknown.

2. **Teacher-influencer explainer videos** : @myspeedoffice 217K views, @micronksa (25K followers) 137K, @db88_ed 137K, @almalki640 102K, @m0faq "الإدارة الصفية مجاني ورائع", all concentrated from 2026-08-29 to October, i.e. back-to-school season. No evidence of paid partnerships was found; the pattern looks like influencer promotion plus organic sharing.

3. **Free tools as hooks** : the free "الإدارة الصفية" app, a free weekly / semester plan PDF/Word generator, and a free index of textbooks, answer keys and PPTs (tahdiri.com/s/). They pull in web traffic and SEO, then funnel to the 75-riyal paid subscription.

4. **SEO / resource index** : tahdiri.com/s/catalog turns 12 resource types (exams, PPTs, mind maps, course allocation, remediation plans, textbooks, answers...) into indexable pages; searching "أفضل برنامج تحضير منصة مدرستي" ranks it on the first page (Jina search). The recalled card says Similarweb shows AI-search referral traffic; not verified in this pass.

5. **Owned channels** : WhatsApp (+966561903617), WhatsApp Channel, Telegram (t.me/tahdiri1, tahdiri3, tahdiricom), X @dev903090, YouTube. An older video, "طرق الاشتراك", has 80K views (YouTube).

6. **Trust signals** : the official /licenses page lists معروف, SBC certification, National e-Learning Center (NELC) certification, حصين, PDPL registration, TVTC training license, and SDAIA. Teachers worry about account security, and these credentials ease that concern.

7. **Ratings may be coordinated** : the "الإدارة الصفية" iOS rating count rose 11-01 to 11-03 with 31/41/33 new ratings in one day, versus only 0–3 in the days around it; many one-word reviews such as "سادس", "Reem", "طالباتي قالو" suggest teachers had students rate it. Unverified inference.

8. Ad libraries: metaads / tiktokads only track products on their list, and this one was not found in them (not finding it doesn't mean it didn't run ads).

### 5. Why it works

- **Strong need, created by policy** : the Ministry requires teachers to plan every lesson and post assignments on Madrasati. A teacher with 20–30 lessons a week across several classes re-enters the same content repeatedly, pure administrative burden. تحضيري's "plan a whole week in one click" solves exactly this.

- **First mover and multi-platform** : it had a Chrome extension 2022 years ago and now has 100K users, the largest in this niche; second is مدرستي بلس at 40K. iOS, Android, Windows, Huawei and Safari are all covered, with one subscription for all.

- **2026 school-year growth came from expanding the free product line** : the "الإدارة الصفية" app launched in August, reaching 3 months of 4K iOS ratings and 28K Play installs; plus the weekly / semester plan generator at k.tahdiri.com (the top CrUX origin). This raised its share roughly 2.5x relative to madrasati.sa.

- **Seasonality** : the start of school and end of semester (grades, reports) are peaks. This recall coincided with the post-back-to-school climb in the Tranco 30-day average.

### VI. Differentiation

Rivals either only do Madrasati auto-fill (مدرستي بلس, تحضير بلس) or only classroom management (كشوف). تحضيري is **a three-in-one of automation + a huge local resource library + a free classroom tool, with one annual fee valid on all platforms** : 20K PPT decks, 100K games, full textbooks and answer keys, Noor grade entry, teacher portfolios (ملف الإنجاز), and assorted reports. Each piece alone is not hard to build; the hard part is making all of them fit the Saudi curriculum and the Ministry system. That is why it is an order of magnitude bigger than its peers. This year's traffic growth came mainly from the free app and tool pages, where the differentiation played a role, but seasonality is the larger variable.

### 7. Visibility and copycats

- Visibility: **it spreads only in small circles** , namely Saudi teacher communities (TikTok teacher influencers, WhatsApp/Telegram groups). No TrustMRR listing, founders have not posted revenue, and neither big X accounts nor English tech media have covered it (x-radar search for tahdiri: 0 results).

- Copycats: from 2026-08 to November, the Chrome Web Store added a batch of Madrasati lesson-planning / reporting extensions, each in the dozens of users: كشوف (تحضير الدروس) launched 8-15, 1,000 users; معلم — نور ومدرستي 9-06; نسق 9-11; مُعدّ 9-12; تَحْضِيرِيّ (the Oman version, copying the name) 9-16; تقارير مدرستي 11-02; ركيز المعلم 11-03 (chromestore.item). On classroom management, the veteran كشوف ran a "limited-time free" promotion, and another developer launched "أثر المعلم" (8-17). On iOS, "إبداعي برو" (10-07) and "مجموعاتي" (10-27) are similar.

### VIII. Takeaways

- **Ride a platform the government forces use** , automate repetitive form-filling, and collect a small annual fee. This playbook can be moved to other countries' education-ministry platforms, or to healthcare and government reporting systems.

- **A matrix of free tools drives traffic, paid only for one core automation** . Each free tool (plan generator, resource index, classroom management app) gets its own page or app, feeding on SEO and app-store search.

- **Concentrate TikTok around back-to-school** : the official account covers one feature a day, plus several teacher influencers doing explainers.

- Put government credential badges prominently to reduce teachers' hesitation about handing over their Ministry account.

### 9. Uncertain

- Real paying users and revenue are unknown.

- Whether the influencer videos are paid partnerships is unknown.

- Whether it runs TikTok/Snap/Meta ads was not found.

- The cause of the November rating spike (students rating? in-app prompts?) is unverified.

- The reasons it entered CrUX rankings in various overseas countries are unverified.

- If the Ministry builds "copy lesson plan" into Madrasati itself, or blocks the extensions, that is an existential risk; no related policy was found in this check.
