- The job market is weak, and both job-search tool categories are rising together. Hidden-jobs aggregation is clean and can be copied across countries and industries (DirectRoles only covers general English-language roles). Real-time interview-answering demand and revenue are real too, but the pitch is "peek at answers during the interview," which recruiters and meeting software will push back on. It shouldn't be recommended, so it's marked as the counterexample.

The hardest step
Distribution. DirectRoles and RareRoles are the same idea; the difference is the channel. Getting into a paid community (Whop) made $25k, while FB / IG influencers only made $3,000. Second is data: scraping company career pages has to be maintained continuously.
Who it's for
Indie devs who can write scrapers and get into a job-search community (Whop, Discord, local forums); monthly subscription; can switch countries (Germany, France, Japan) or industries (nursing, teaching, trades). I'd avoid the interview-cheating half.
Should every product builder know this?
Yes. 'The same idea through a different channel can be ten times better' is the most valuable part of this entry, and it's worth knowing even if you're not job hunting.
