Why this is written up
In half a year, 270 apps have appeared, which looks like a trend. But merchants pay for SEO because they can see their rankings; "your visibility in ChatGPT" has no rankings to show, so it's a promise that can't be verified. On Shopify, the spot is taken by old SEO apps that renamed themselves and free review-farming, so new paid entrants total at most 50 reviews. In the resale market, a pure GEO product with $119k in revenue sold for only 0.46x revenue.

  • Shopify App Store (verified 11-02): the paid newcomers haven't taken off. Kedra AI SEO & AEO Visibility (kedra-ai-index, 04-27): 50 reviews, 30 days recent, 0, $10–79. ShopRank AI (shoprank-ai, Zipify): 42 reviews, 30 days recent, 5, $9.96. Kwik GEO (kwik-geo-1, India's GoKwik): 37 reviews, 30 days recent, 8, $148.5–746.49. AI INDEX PRO (ai-index-pro, ECOMBEAT): 32 reviews, 30 days recent, 0.
  • Shopify App Store (verified 11-02): the spots were taken by old players who renamed. Tapita GEO Studio & AI Blog (tapita-ai-seo-blog-builder, 2022): 493 reviews. Avada AEO SEO Optimizer LLMs (aeo-llms-txt): 396 reviews. Both free.
