Grouped by store. Each group starts with the charts that can be graphed (real curves, data dates below the chart), then the scanner's original notes and source links.
Meta Ad Library1 evidence items
- Meta ad library (cleared the bar: "doubled ad spend"): Caddy.app (landing.caddy.app, Page likes 236) is running 10 (11-02) → 95 (11-05), earliest one seen 2026-07-01. Copy: "A personal AI that lives in your texts," "Tell Caddy what to remember and when. It will text you when it is time," "Snap a flyer and text it to Caddy. It adds the event," "College, Handled By Text" (for students: deadline reminders, drafting replies to emails). Between 11-02 and 11-04 it launched 20 new image and DCO creatives in one go. No indie is tracking it, and its revenue is unknown.
Indie product revenue (TrustMRR)2 evidence · 5 products with curves
- Indies (revenue verified by payment platforms, 30 days, as of 11-03): Olly (olly.bot, "an AI agent for every human," founded 2023) $2,317 (+55%), MRR $1,276, 298 subscriptions; Flint (faith companion, lives in iMessage, see [016]) $3,006 (−24%), MRR $1,584; Coco (textcoco.com, personal assistant on WhatsApp / Telegram, $4 / $12 per month) $1,205 (−23%), 233 subscriptions; Parlai (practicing a foreign language on WhatsApp) $366.
- For comparison: on the same carriers, B2B makes far more money: Chat Data $19,357, Instagram / WhatsApp AI sales setter (anonymous) $17,621, Magnetic Funnels $13,452. On the consumer side, each one is at $1–3k/month.
My take
The no-download, SMS-based model lowers acquisition friction (the landing page hands you a number directly) and sidesteps App Store cuts. The cost is weak subscription conversion and retention (only a few hundred subscribers, low ARPU). Olly took three years to reach $2k/month. Caddy nearly 10x'd its Meta spend in a single week, which suggests someone has run the unit economics on this channel, but the revenue isn't visible. The part worth watching is "vertical audience + messaging channel": college students (Caddy), churchgoers (Flint), language learners (Parlai). These are easier to pitch than a general-purpose assistant.
What would upgrade it
Caddy's active ad count holds one week later (11-12 recheck); or a consumer messaging assistant on indie charts exceeds $5k over 30 days and is still rising. Downgrade: Caddy drops below 20 ads, Olly turns negative.
The hardest step
The cost and compliance of sending SMS / iMessage (US A2P 10DLC registration, Apple's restrictions on commercial iMessage accounts), and getting users to pay a subscription.
Who it's for
Indie developers who understand a particular niche and can build backends; US market (SMS) or markets where WhatsApp is widely used (Latin America, Europe, India).
Should every product builder know this?
No.
